About Me

  1. I don't understand why he keeps saying "I need to make an account". There is no "account" with Zelle. The major US banks all came together and decided to make Zelle their bank-to-bank transfer system. It's right here in my WF account, no Zelle account necessary. This whole fiasco is incredibly fishy.
  2. Strype has a bad habit of doing this. But, in the neighborhood of ToS's, unless your business is legally registered in your country of origin, even most times, them having a ToS doesnt actually mean squat. =/
  3. You can include the fees in your price all you want, you cant add an ADDITIONAL fee to you cost, at all. Adding any fees for using paypal is against their TOS. Charge $16 for a commission instead of $15 + $1 fee. Thats all you have to do to avoid being in trouble with PP.
  4. 115L$ is a little less than a dollar. With the hours I put in on my pieces, if someone had quoted me 115l$ to pay for that kind of piece, I'd have spit in their face =/ Designing that kind of thing takes a loooong time. Hell, I've been working on a single character piece with a simple background all day. Granted, its a purely latex character with a lot of stuff attached so, detail is being a pain. But still. Hourage wise, it's at about 70$ already. 115L$ is a joke.
  5. Technically speaking, the 50%-50% clause was already in our ToS, we actually just tried to show some kindness and flexibility... Needless to say, we won't be doing any more good will gestures besides cold and professional business practice anymore.
  6. Thank you for the beware on this. It seems a lot that this happens with artist and then when seeking refunds for work, they give little to no warning about what's happening/going on in terms of that refund.
  7. I've never made a beware before, so bare with me. 5/4//2019 I commissioned this user for a sketch page via Discord. Here is the screenshot of me commissioning her. 1.) https://gyazo.com/06441cec45ba67f0f6044514191211b6 5/13/2019 I asked for an update, and got this. Seemed to be going well. 2.) https://gyazo.com/5911dcfe3d61a128d4baccbcadab75ea 5/28/2019 I asked for another update, this was said. 3.) https://gyazo.com/df9273acf11c889ee6d7cf4584df2d23 Last Tuesday, reached out to her, and still no reply. 4.) https://gyazo.com/ff1d37724e7c9e770962c1ef6651c860 I go to check her DeviantArt page, and I find this.. An empty DA: https://gyazo.com/f670d3d94e9d98be2cb7934655b30711 I urge anyone wanting to commission this user to proceed with heavy caution. Fortunately, I was able to get my refund back from her after messaging her through toyhou.se and threatening to put a beware on her. Soon after, she went into "quiet mode" on her toyhou.se where we could contact her, and said left this message: "Going on hiatus for a while. Guest mode and quiet mode are on, dont contact me."
  8. This is absolutely terrible. They wanted your art enough to want to trade, but when you wanted payment suddenly it wasn't worth the cost, excuse me??? Absolutely well warranted, what a nasty attitude.
  9. Theyre tax write offs, so you never really 'lose' that money anyways. I have all my fees and time accounted for in my pricing, but its a warning to the OP, because paypal has shut down more accounts for charging customers fees than they have for NSFW.
  10. Sorry that happened to you. I'd advise to either take full upfront, 50% upfront - 50% after or payment after a sketch. Doing payment after the art is basically finished leads to many risks such as these.
  11. Im horribly scared now....i just joined this to comment. But back in september, i got a $900 full suit from her. She told me a month or 2 ago shes officially begun working on, just hasnt taken any photos. I also got some $80 feetpaws yher were guarenteed in 3 weeks. Nothing. I know for a fack my protection in paypal is gone so im screwed there....she did say it woukd take her a year to get the suit done. But i cant help but to be nervous.
  12. I commissioned this individual July 28, 2018. I had recieved one WIP image, and then nothing after that. No updates were given to me unless I asked, and I didn't message them often. It got to a point that they weren't responding, so I had to go and see if they had any other social media just to contact them. January 4th hit and I realized I was never going to recieve my artwork. So I asked for a refund, and they said it could take days to weeks. I said okay and left it be for literally months. I then messaged them recently. They read the message, and ignored it. So I called them out on it and they responded very rudely. They are extremely unprofessional, I do not recommend them. Please, do not commission this individual for artwork or even fursuits. You are not guaranteed to get what you payed them for, and I highly doubt they'll ever actually give me a refund.
  13. Ah thank you! I apologize I was trying to read through the rules on mobile at work LOL but I appreciate it a lot and if I make a post again I will be sure to read much more carefully!
  14. Exactly one year later, I now have my finished YCH. Hopefully this helps other people down the line when it comes to getting their art from her, she is an amazing artist but her communication skills need some work.
  15. Unfortunately like I said above, I'm well past the date of being able to open a claim.
  16. Please don't! We only accept character theft posts if it is the exact same character, and aren't here to judge how similar characters are to each other.
  17. It's funny, I was looking at this person's newgrounds a few weeks ago(Since everyone moved away from tumblr and made a newgrounds account, I browse Newgrounds now) and was considering commissioning them. Thanks for the warning, I'll be sure to steer clear.
  18. Yes it was originally submitted as a beware, but we downgraded it. There's no way this qualifies for a beware. The like feature is disabled for mods, but I'm in full agreement with Armaina.
  19. I'm going to be honest, filing a dispute like that was kind of low in my opinion. You didn't have it clear in the ref and they actually edited at first without problem, and you open a dispute and get upset when they didn't respond to you within 24 hours? They're also right, they can post their work at any time. If it needs editing, they can simply replace what's uploaded with a newer version, so I'm not quite sure why that would be upsetting? I wouldn't want to work with you either after this
  20. This is one of those weird ones where I personally see what you indicated in your reference sheet, but can also see how the second fix would be debatable. I would definitely suggest making a close up detail shot of those as a quick go through of your gallery shows that it's done in a variety of different ways.
  21. THey made a post about streaming 3 hours ago. Maybe try contacting them in stream? I mean it don't look good on them if they ignore you in stream. I normally wouldn't be crazy about doing that but seeing you're CLEARLY being ignored, it might be one of the few options at this point.
  22. It's the only commission I've ever wanted done. I've dreamed to see it in his style. It's something I really wanted so I have tried to be really patient.
  23. I reread the dates and I must say you're a very patient person.
  24. thanks for your time and advice. 🙂 I did, but still held back just incase the commissioner does return. But times up now. I also considered on maybe selling prints on DA trying to make up my loss that way, too.
  25. Understood then. I will let the artist know to look at this report again so they are aware of that.
