I am so astonished by all this. What gets me the most is when she wants to change YOUR character. Color detail or not, that's YOUR character. She's getting paid to draw YOUR character. That's just plain rude and unprofessional she would change a character that is rightfully yours. That boils my blood so much and reminds me what not to do as an artist. This is a big no-no and I am sorry you went through all that. That is definitely fraud of what she is doing and I hope you get your money back. You were more than patient enough.

I believe the artist's manager needs to re-educate themselves on professional behavior as well. This entire thing is goodness gracious. Sorry you went through that.

All of them look similar to very popular memes I've seen on the internet. No doubt that the others are traced. However, the only proof I have is what they call the 'angry chibi meme' or something to the sort. I do not know how to make the mini animation where it compares between the two, so I will just leave the file here of what I am referring to since there are multiple. As for your situation, I am sorry you have to go through with that. I hope that they come clean with you and are honest about it.

It's funny, I was looking at this person's newgrounds a few weeks ago(Since everyone moved away from tumblr and made a newgrounds account, I browse Newgrounds now) and was considering commissioning them. Thanks for the warning, I'll be sure to steer clear.
