Artist riajoi took my commission (worth 250USD). The agreement was some art of a character. Received updates until a few months ago when my (Discord) messages went unreplied for over 2 months. Noted their account requesting a refund and filed a paypal dispute, received a reply about a week later accepting a full refund and they replied to the dispute allowing the refund. Dispute closes, refund bounces and is cancelled. Unable to get money or open new dispute. Filling out small claims court dispute now.

So, to start off with, the stuff here will be quite NSFW (Gore, porn). Just a head's up. Some months back I had a user on my FurAffinity page comment on one of the commissions I had uploaded. The content of this comment was inappropriate and disturbing, so I removed it and then blocked the user. My reference sheet for the character in question is available on my account, it's a submission anyone where anyone with an account that can see mature/adult content view it if they so desired to. The link is below: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19500037/ This is relevant because the user I blocked, known by the handle EhJay on FurAffinity, then saved a copy for themselves (fine in of itself) and went to another artist to commission some gore/porn material. Needless to say, this was done without my permission. A friend somehow found these images on EhJay's FurAffinity gallery and brougth them to my attention, and they've been on FA for a few months. So likely not very long after I blocked EhJay that user went and got these commissions done. As I am not sure when FA support will get back to me and if the commissions will stay up, I won't link them from EhJay's profile but I have attached a small folder containing the relevant commissions. Again, gore/porn warning. I have (hopefully) removed the artists' name from the attached screenshots as I have spoken to them and they were very understanding about this situation. To summarize, I blocked a user for leaving a disturbing comment on one of my commissions I uploaded to FurAffinity. That user then went to use my character, without my permission, in some sort of revenge commissioning with very uncomfortable content. Hoping this serves as a head's up that this user is fine with using stolen characters in case they attempt it in the future.

On October 6, 2017, I commissioned art fro Badcoyote during his Meatober Stream. It was a commission in which me and another person (known as Charrwolf) split the price for a two person image. Included is record of us discussing the piece, me paying my share on paypal, and a confirmation email from Badcoyote. In the confirmation email, he states that the work would be completed in November. But then he reported publicly on twitter that he ended up in the hospital Nov 1, 2017 and was there through Nov 6, 2017. This news primed me to be forgiving of delays, because obviously it was a huge crisis. It got to December, but then on Dec 5, 2017 Badcoyote (and his partner Lobo) publicly reported that their home was caught up in the California fires. Which was heart wrenching to hear and I knew it would mean that the piece would be in limbo for a while until they could get their lives settled. I mean, it would be insane to assume otherwise and I was alright with that. While I was aware he was streaming again by Jan 1, 2018, he later indicated on Jan 10th, 2018 that he was still homeless due to the fire. On Feb 16, 2018, Badcoyote opened up for more commissions in a stream. I admit, I didn't see anything wrong with this at the time as I imagined he would surely still be in financial distress and honestly trusted him to get to my commission as soon as he was able to. On Mar 14, 2018, Badcoyote opened up for more commissions in a stream again. During this stream, I had asked his partner Lobo about the commission in private chat and was told it was in the process of being worked on and I would hear more soon. (I had failed to screen capture this as I still trusted them and simply accepted the answer given). Then on Apr 2, 2018, Badcoyote further revealed publicly that he had been dealing with further medical issues which had taken precedence. Public announcements revealed that these issues continued through much of April. Obliviously, I could not argue with this as health is important. Finally, on May 1, 2018, Badcoyote provided the sketches for the commission and asked for feedback. Which I provided on May 2nd and he responded again on May 3rd. (note: the second picture also includes an email on May 4th, 2019, asking for an update, which he never responded to). At this point, I thought "Awesome, he hasn't forgotten me and is still working on this. No worries then." And, regretfully, was content to give him the benefit of more time. So when he had another stream on May 22, 2018 where he took more commissions, I thought nothing of it because I "knew" he was working on it. Then June comes around and more public announcements of medical emergencies. So, again, I give him leeway because like....that is terrible luck. September comes along and Badcoyote is having a month of streaming. I will admit the commission had slipped my mind at this point between a busy summer, returning to grad school, and my birthday coming up (also in September). Towards the end of the month of streaming, I remember it though and ask his partner Lobo again about it in stream private chat. He insists it is almost done and will be released in the upcoming Meatober stream in October. Figuring it was just another month, I accepted this (but again didn't think to screen shot it). On Oct 15, 2018, he publicly announces that due to medical issues with his dog and new jobs for both him and Lobo, the meatober fest would be delayed until after the election in November. Deciding that I would be able to wait till then, I said nothing (plus, like, his dog was hurt :( . I'm not a monster.) In a late Nov 2018 stream (however, not the Meatober stream), I asked his partner Lobo again about the commission and again was told it would be ready soon and would come with the Meatober stream, but did not say when it would be. At this point, I was growing frustrated, but I did not know what options I had available as it was well past the 180 days for Paypal and I didn't really have any friends in the furry community who I could ask for advice. This was also the first time I was having an issue with an artist I commissioned. So I just bit my tongue and accepted it, hoping it would be "coming soon" as he promised. Through Dec 2018, he continued to pump out finished works from the streams throughout 2018 but gave no news regarding the 2017 commission in question. He even held another stream, taking more commissions, on Dec 15th 2018. This continues into 2019 with another stream and taking more commissions on Mar 15, 2019. Again I asked his partner about the commission and was told it would be out by Apr or May. Not knowing what else to do, I again accept this answer. On May 3rd, 2019, Badcoyote announces he will be slowing down to work on grinding out commissions. This brings us to May 4th, 2019 when I emailed him to check for an update (and hoping that the email would jog his memory about the piece I was told repeatedly was "almost ready")[previously included]. Getting no answer, I message him on twitter on May 6th as I was unsure if his email was still accurate. He responds promptly and promises it will be done around May 22nd (give or take 3 days). "Sounds great" I think and set my concern aside, especially since I noticed on Furaffinity that he stated he was taking no new commissions until he got caught up. May 27th comes by and, getting home from work, it suddenly strikes me that I hadn't heard from him. So I ask for another update, unaware I was catching him in a stream. Now this news disappointed me, but I interpreted it (I would later realize mistakenly) that it would be done sometime in June and I went to bed figuring I would consider what to do (if anything) in the morning. The next morning is when I remembered that he had claimed he would take no new commissions until he was caught up. Frustrated and angry over the fact that again he was telling me it would be "coming soon" all while he was doing yet more streams. I asked some new friends in the furry community what to do and they told me to go to Paypal and try to get a refund, even if it resulted in shutting down both of our paypal accounts (due to the commission being a sexual piece in nature, which violates the Paypal terms of service). I was worried this was a bit extreme. At this point I remembered I had the discord info of Charrwolf (the person I shared the commission with) and asked for his advice on this issue. He advised a more moderate approach by publicly bringing it up in the next stream chat. I stated exactly what Charrwolf advised in the stream that evening. But it was deleted before I could even screenshot it. His partner Lobo then chastised me in private chat. Which, ok, thinking back on it. maybe it was a bit out of line, given it was a charity stream. but the commission in question was part of a charity stream from over 1 year and a half ago, so it seemed reasonable. (Following is the conversation with Lobo) Badcoyote then contacts me on Twitter and, in re-reading the messages, I realized (as stated earlier) that in my frustration I had misinterpreted what he said as meaning it would be "done sometime in june" when what he said was that he was putting off working on it till June (which isn't better, but means I was in the wrong to bring it up in stream). The following is the conversation we had. During the conversation, he states that there are others ahead of me with older commissions. When I ask about it, he deflects saying he won't talk about them. Frustrated again, but feeling bad for my misunderstanding, I sit back to wait and see if he delivers. Badcoyote holds another stream in June where he takes more commissions. So on June 20th, 2019, I ask for an update. In his refusal to provide an update on the commission, he does imply that he had at least 27 commissions from 2017 or older (based on his previous insistence that he could not prioritize me over older commissions). Again he states it is coming soon with a 2 week deadline if I leave him alone to work. I do so, though not entirely out of my free will as I had my own health crisis in July and August. In August, he again publicly blames job issues for delays in commission completions for the previous month. On Sept 6, 2019, he opens a stream to take free sketches. With my own life back in order, I asked for another update today (Sept 14,2018 at 9:03 am CST), to which he has given no response at this time (11:33pm CST). My instincts told me to give him time to respond, but my friends have urged me to post this to warn others. Seeing as giving him time has earned me no results, I have followed their advice. I hope no one else will have to deal with this. Beware Badcoyote / CritterCanvas. Note: I don't know if I'm out of line for commenting on what occurred throughout the 2 year time span especially since I didn't include images to prove that occurred. I have evidence of most of it (except where I specifically state I don't), but did not include it as I worried it would be regarded as violating the restriction against personal info, even though it was publicly posted. So I summarized it to give explanation to why I had nothing in evidence for such a long period of time and why I kept giving him time to work despite how long it was overdue.

I have to warn about Aspenbear on Furaffinity. I ordered a Commission at him at May 29th via telegram. at like middle of june he announced refund people since his queue was too long. After a while i was wondering about the state of my commission if i get a commission or a refund. After i asked him the Question at the 15th of june he opened the commissions again on the 16th. After he said he is gonna refund. So i waited for his answer. He reopened Commissions again Still no answer or scetch around this point. I sent him a Note via Furaffinity which was read but not answered. At the 3. July i started the resolution via paypal. he had enough time to react and answer me. At the same day as i started the case, he answered me the question from the 15th of June. at the 7th of July i escalated the case to paypal since he didn't answer on Telegram or via paypal So i sent him a message on paypal again. At the 11th july he made a journal aboout to update his Trello and about a few YCHs he is gonna finish. Still no scetch up to this point. At the 13th of July i got an answer on telegram to my paypal-resolution.. Since i was not the only one which didn't get any Commission done i decided to Force-payback through Paypal. i got a last Message at the 17th. Seven days later he reopened his Scetches again. His last Commission he submitted was a an old YCH. Evidence for payment and payback: On his trello i have still an entry for the refund. I got my 60$ back with the forced paypal-resolution.

I have a species i had created called Koberu, now, these species are closed to the public and i do not at all allow these species to be made by others and sold as adopts, at least until i can get a proper Ref sheet made for them for people to buy and use to make them. it started on Sep 11th, 2019, 07:41 PM , i had received an note on furaffinity from Mramor, she had stated that someone had come to her and asked for a commission and used reference shots from Secondlife, which is were i make and sell my Koberu as well: before i seen the second one, this was my response: now, in the chat we had, she had mentioned that she had never seen them before...that she had never even heard of a Koberu before, well, i at the time believed her, and as you saw she said that she did not want to waste her time and i felt bad she put work into the first one, so i told her to go ahead and put it up for adopt (which...was a big mistake on my end...) i later realized my mistake on doing it, but lets get into that now, she responded with this: now i made this response after seeing the mint one, and it kinda put me on edge, cause she only showed me the first one. She didn't mention there was a second one, but I let her sell those two. It did not click in my brain until a good friend pointed it out to me, but she mentioned she was shocked that one of her designs looked like one of my Koberu. hang on a second, i thought to myself, how was she shocked when she has seen them before...? oh yes, she has seen them before, how do i know you may ask, well, here is the evidence... here you can see my friend bid on one of the koberus, take a good look at the date this auction was posted She left a shout on my freind's page saying how much damn gorgeous her sona was. Here is more proof that she seen the auction before contacting me. [Mod note]: There were multiple caps on various users' pages. Due to the caps resizing strangely, we added in a few crops. Please note that this user has been leaving shouts on multiple bidders' pages. not only did she see the auction i did, she also favorited one of my koberu pictures 2 months back as well, here is the proof but, before i noticed she liked this (which was brought to my attention by my friend) i asked her about the shouts, cause i was told about the shouts before i found out she favored my Koberu Picture as i stated in my reply.. before hers, i told her only two.....BUT THEN SHE SAID SHE WAS WORKING ON ANOTHER ONE? even though i told her only those two?! that made me nervous and unsure about my choice now....i was starting to wonder if i made the right choice giving her permission...so this was her response... what....? .....haven't...heard of them before...? okay this here is where the red flag started to slap me in the face hardcore now...she said she was shocked she never seen them before, but left a shout on my friends pages, i do have another friend she left a shout on, but she did not bid on an auction until later on but here is a screenshot of the shout she left her before contacting me about the Koberus she HAD to have seen my auctions and seen my Koberu... -lied about not seeing my Koberu -people asking for commissions -people getting the idea they can sell them. -and tried to make a third adopt even though i told her only TWO -unfair to others who wanted to make Koberus don't you think that is a justified reason to ask her to take them down? people were starting to think they could make custom Koberu adopts and try and sell them even though they are an closed species of mine and no one is suppose to sell them but me, i broke my own rule i will admit and i was being way to nice, a fault in which i really need to fix, but anyways, i confronted her today and asked her nicely to take them down, and explained why... hold on to your seats folks cause this is about to get spicy: i know i said i only gave permission to sell the blue one but i did not remember at that time that i gave her permission for both so, i will admit to that mistake. but what sets me off about this is she tried to bring the bidders into this...which btw i contacted the bidders and informed them of the situation at hand and they completely understood, and they were super okay with it...i showed these screenshots to people, asking if this all sounded shady, cause i did not want to take all of this in the wrong way, but many have told me to confront her about this and as you can see, i am trying to in the nicest way possible...no aggression at all, then she goes and says she will just change the name ''hybrid dog'' ....? no, no, people have ALREADY SEEN THAT YOU NAMED IT KOBERU its obvious that is what it is and i have the evidence to prove you KNOW what a Koberu is and that you lied about not seeing them, even your mate made an art piece for a friend of mine who is a KOBERU here we go again with the ''i did not know it was a species'' gig...even after i just showed you the evidence. so after all that quarrel she says this, and, honestly it has me very worried, cause, she claimed she took them down, and then said she sold them? even after i told her to kindly take them down? and whats worse is, she still has reminders up on her alt for them the fact she activated a dead account to sell them is down right...wrong...I am writing this beware because she still is trying to sell them even though i told her specifically not to, again, i do not like nor is my intent to slander her name, i just want people to be careful around her and that to check her story first before you believe, her, i regret not doing so in the first place but it wont happen again.

Back in July 2017 I applied for Dubmutt’s fursuit opening for a slot on their January-May 2018 queue. I wanted a fursuit head of my character Loki, he was to have magnetic eyelids, septum, and plugs. Everything seemed to be going well, I received an email accepting my commission and we moved forward from there. My suit was to be $920 with a $276 down payment. July 14th, 2017 I received the invoice and July 24th I made the down payment of $276. On December 26th 2017 I finished paying the invoice, and was told swatches would be sent out soon and I’d get an update when work was started. I reach out on February 2018 to see when swatches would be sent out as I was originally told beginning of December. I also wanted to see where I was at on the queue. Dubmutt told me swatches would be sent a month or so before starting and that I was scheduled for beginning of March. March 7th Dub reaches out to let me know they may need to cancel a few commissions while they focus on their health and that I will be updated. April 19th I reach out to dub out of curiosity of if my project was to be cancelled or completed. I was told mine was still scheduled. A few months go by so I message Dub on August 15th, 2018 to see if there’s been any updates. I am told they are finishing up two other suits and they were hoping to get to mine soon. January 8th, 2019 I reach out again to see if there was any progress. January 12th Dub replies to say they are finishing 3 suits and mine will be next, and to contact them through twitter from now on. August 31st I message Dub on twitter since it’s been quite a while, I ask if there are any updates or even an estimate on when my suit would even be started. September 9th Dub posts a PSA to twitter stating that they will be leaving the fandom, but owed commissions will be done. I haven’t heard from Dub since January 2019. At this point in time, I have received no word about my suit even being started. Update: 09/20/19

So this happened a little bit after I started being more active on FurAffinity. I will write the whole story at the end of the screenshots. Its my first post on here so I'm sorry if the pictures are not in the right order. They messaged me wanting to commission me. They wanted to add me on Discord which we did. We added each other. We discussed the first commission which wasnt a problem at all. Also proof about them sending me their email for the invoice : Im suspecting a dummy e-mail. Proof that I sent them the first commission. They quickly wanted to commission me more, which is completly fine by me. So In total i had around 5 commissions done for them. They promised me 160 USD. I was going to bed. Afterwards I tried to play with them since they added me on a video game. Their nickname ingame was Dumas, which ofc is also his main Account on Furrafinity. (Dumas~) (I got worried about my payment so I googled their name and thats how I found out.) Fluffaroo82 is only their secondary account. Here is the proof that they added me : And now after all the commissions were done, me trying to play with them : And thats how it ends. They slowly started ignoring me : The last message was also sent on FA. The only time they messaged me was to let me know their PC had an issue, which was a COMPLETE lie because they were playing the video game ( Im not going to name the game.) on their own. You can check the last few matches on certain websites for that. So their PC were completly okay. And even then. They couldnt contact me on Discord. FA was still an option. And then I never heard from them ever again. Now here is the full story : I got a message from them on FA, asking for a Commission, which was completly fine - it supports me as an artist! Quickly they told me what exactly they wanted and I finished the commission the same day - and thats when they wanted more and more without paying. Since the art was related to a game we both were actually playing, I asked them for their Ingame name, which was Dumas. Now, since I asked around and also googled out of curiosity, I found out that Dumas~ is his main account on Furaffinity and I could alos see the same likeness in the art they had posted and the ones I got commissioned. ( Scraps, and some in the gallery.) After I told them to pay me and that im closing my commissions for private reasons it started crumbling down. I noticed first that they deleted me ingame. I messaged them asking basically " Why " and that " I thought we wanted to play together?" They started ignoring me, but before that they made me feel "safe" by telling me that they had enaugh funds its just PayPal's fault. So I was patient and gave them a week of a deadline but during that time I didnt even heard anything from them. And here I am. They owe me 160USD worth of art. Edit: 09/25/19 I've been paid!

This is my first time writing a PSA, and I really didn't want to have to do this, but the lack of communication or regard for commissioners leads me to believe it's necessary -- if only to warn others in the interest of protecting their assets. I commissioned this artist on January 12th of this year, for two flat-colored pieces with a simple bg totaling $140 (transaction proof below). After the initial back and forth regarding references and payment, during which they were very fast to respond to me, I was content to wait and left them to their queue. On March 16th, I politely asked for an update given that I hadn't heard from them. There was no response, and I made another attempt on the 30th just in case they'd missed it. Finally, on April 20th, I decided the lack of reply was too uncomfortable to wait any longer, especially when they were still active on the twitter, stream, and tumblr accounts linked in their website. I filed a claim through PayPal a week after informing them of why I was doing it over both email and DeviantArt notes, since I don't have a twitter. I finally got what seemed like an apologetic and acceptable response on the 22nd, seen here asking me to close the claims in exchange for wip images. To my relief, they were able to provide them. My reply here. At this point, I was ready to close after seeing the very sketchy WIP images (NSFW, so they won't be posted here.) Please learn from my foolish mistake: if you ever feel the need to file a claim with paypal over a piece of artwork and consistently can't get a response, only close it once the work is finished. In retrospect, I was a pushover and I was way too ready to close the claim to avoid conflict. The last communication I received from them was on April 22nd sending me a second WIP. I sent a request for a few small changes in response. On June 8th, I sent another polite poke, followed by a more serious request on June 20th. I've gotten no response since. It's now been over seven months with only minimal and dodgy communication on their end, and none of the promised art. This is not a personal attack on @felixavenier , only an unfortunately necessary warning since they're a popular artist with a lot of commissioners. Please note that their ToS mentions frequent updates . Sadly, the impression I've been left with is that the only updates that will be given are if you threaten action via PayPal.

Beware Written on September 11, 2019 Who: Ohmega Suit Studios/Ohm Protho/Ohmnog When: November 9 2017 - 2019 (Still ongoing) Where: ordered via Facebook messenger, other discussions via Twitter, Telegram, and via email What: A pair of all blue, no claws or pawpads: handpaws, feetpaws, and artwork- headshot Total amount: $231 -- most paid through friends and family Things to note: Ohm and I were friends at the time of the commission start, somewhere between it all we just fell through. Ohm will be referred to by they/them/theirs out of respect for their choice of pronouns. I understand the situation in which Ohm had injured their hand in 2017 and when they had to move out of their apartment in 2019 AZ due to AC and space issues. I understand there was a period of time where Ohm's messaging on almost all social media outlets was really glitched out and communication would be faltered. Hence why I decided to reach out to multiple at a time. I do not wish ill will towards them or their future, I really do wish and hope for Ohm to be successful in their endevours. Why: Failure to show updates of any kind, failure to keep client (myself) up to date, failure to provide a queue, communication issues, poor business practices. I would like to start off by saying, do not actively seek and harrass Ohm. This is an ordeal that is between the two of us, however, I am making this to make others aware of my situation and to warn others before possibly conducting business and/or trades. It has come to a point where I have to make this public in order to get some sort of confirmation, update and something set in stone from them. Back in 2017 I had just started really getting into the furry fandom. I had met Ohm online via Facebook and we started off being pretty good friends. I was so amazed to see their work and how much potential they had. I supported them in all of their work, progress images in art and suit making. I really looked up to Ohm and was so excited to have a new friend. Looking back at the screenshots, it seems as though I commissioned them for some artwork before we got to meet for the first time in person, also at my very first furcon. We talked about how our lives were and what we had planned for the future and I gifted them a very small badge. (I know the badge is irrelevant, but somewhere deep down I hope they still have it.) After meeting up with them at AZFC 2017 (just a few days prior Ohm had an accident where their hand got cut by their glass window.) I had saved up enough to be able to commission them for a set of feetpaws; specifically sockpaws. I had made my payments pretty quickly, all under friends and family because I knew I could trust them. I knew that they were my friend. (This was before I knew to always send payment for commissions in business PayPal.) I understood that I was going to be put at the bottom of the queue as there were others ahead of me. I wanted Ohm to feel comfortable knowing that I was going to be a reliable and understanding customer. If I remember correctly, a few people prior had either canceled commissions or asked for refunds from Ohm. I didn't want to cause anymore trouble or hassle than was needed. I do recall Ohm having trouble making ends meet for the apartment rent and even groceries a lot of times. I thought it might be helpful to add on to my order, handpaws, and to even buy artwork from them too, which were both added on at a later date. Throughout the whole process I did not have any knowledge of where I was on the queue, when my materials arrived, or when the sockpaws would even be started. The one time I did reach out to ask about it I was told that parts are not on the public queue because they would be done in-between bigger suit work. Ex: heads, bodysuits, etc. I was very patient and still hopeful, yet a bit weary at the lack of communication. Then there came a point where whenever I talked about my commissions I was ghosted. I would see Ohm's profile say "Online" and message them at those times, but never got responses. Then there came a point where what I wrote was not seen. I gave it some time, since I knew the IMs for Ohm was kinda glitchy, but then hours became days, days became weeks, and then months. Every chance I got to reach out to them it's always an, I'll get to you later. We can do it by x date. I'll be sure to get back to you. Deadlines came and went. Now here we are 3 years later I see commission after commission being completed. Heads, bodysuits, handpaws and feetpaws, many artworks, yet I have no idea where I am on the queue. I have absolutely no idea if my items have even been started since 2017. Now, I see Ohm opening up again for more commissions once more. I just want an honest answer, what happened to my order, to my items? I know now I won't be able to get my money back. As much as I don't want to admit it, I don't think I'll ever get my hands, feet, and art from them at all either. I know now that we're not friends anymore too. And it sucks that it had to end this way. I really wish the best for them, OhmegaSuitStudios can go far, but please Ohm, my once close friend, don't do this to anyone else. Don't let others wait for months, years even for a response on where they are on your queue. Leaving them wondering if you ever started on them. Making them feel like a burden to talk to you because the items have become the only thing to talk about. So that's why I wrote this beware. Be aware of what OhmegaSuitStudios, Ohmnog, Ohm Protho has done. I hope this never happens to anyone else. The incident happened shortly after I joined furaffinity. I was very naive and decided to unconditionally trust my first ever commissioner... All the attached files must be read from the bottom. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I can finally make this post as the bank closed the cases in my favor... AVOID THE MAKER SPLOOTSUITS! I commissioned them for a head and bodysuit at MFF last year, in the amount of $1340. They only communicated once every few months, and would never provide any WIPs or actual updates to progress! Finally, they tried saying they would deliver the head in person through an unnamed 'friend' at AC, on July 8th, nearly 8 MONTHS later! Still, they would not send any updates, and when the suit never arrived, they made excuses to get out of any blame. Finally, after trying to resolve with them (to no response), I had to go through my bank, a nearly 2 month process of not knowing whether my hard earned money would come back. SO PLEASE do not commission or buy from @ Splootsuits. They will more than likely do the same to you. I hate having to make a post like this, but I feel like it is necessary. Above is the post I made onto my Twitter account, sharing this information before I learned of this website. I have attached a couple screenshots for this case. The two telegram screenshots are of the last few messages I sent to the seller. In addition is part of their excuse, their last message to me before their final loss of contact. In total, out of 8 months of waiting, I was only in contact for a total of 4 to 6 days interspersed within that timeframe. Finally, the last image is from my bank, showing the completed credits back to my account after all of these issues. These credits were officially added back today (Sept. 8th), as they were provisional during the time of the investigation.

The buyer replied giving me link to character's ref and email for PayPal invoice I have received the payment and started working on the order. On July 21st YCH had been already done and sent to both customers and was uploaded to my gallery. Also it shows that person had been read the note with the finished artwork. I didn't got any reply from this buyer, but since I had some similar not talkative customers, I assumed that everything is ok. But just recently, on April 30th, I discovered an open dispute in PayPal from Fijipupper with the only description "they scammed me, sadly". So I tried to contact Fijipupper using a messages in the dispute window and here through notes on the FA, but was ignored. After turning to PayPal, the case, unfortunately, was not closed in my favor. (Sorry for the bad quality, the schreenshot was made via phone) All of this has really stressed me out now. I used to get a case in PP before, but after talking with the customer everything was peacefully decided and closed. But seems not this time. In any case, I want to warn other artists to be really careful receiving orders from this person.

On December 31, 2018, I commissioned Bree Drake for a full body badge while we were both vending at NYFB. I have screenshot proof of this transaction, despite the fact that it was a verbal, at-con, cash transaction, because I sent them a digital copy of my ref sheet via telegram:, at which time they asked me to confirm the type of commission I had purchased from them. On January 10th, I was contacted via telegram with an update as to the status of my badge, at which time Bree informed me they would be starting work on my badge soon after having some personal issues. Two months later, on March 18th, 2019, I attempted contact on Telegram for an update. My message was read, but not responded to, meaning that Bree elected to actively ignore my message there. She has not been active on telegram since July. Shortly thereafter, on March 21st, I sent her Facebook Page for her studio a message, asking the same question. At this point I was concerned because I was not listed anywhere on her Trello and had not even received the promised WIP. As you can see, some point after this exchange Bree deleted her business page, leaving me unable to contact her here either. As of September 6, 2019, I have not received a badge, a WIP, any further contact (nor can I contact her, as all her accounts seem to have gone dark as of March 2019), or any attempt at a refund.

In January I had commissioned neoarcadianx for a reference sheet of my character, they had actually designed him originally and had just completed the design a few days before. currently this is a screenshot of the invoice, I received a refund in April after filing a dispute, then chargeback. over the weeks I poked them on discord multiple times, asking about the art, and keeping up with their Trello. i asked for a few changes over the weeks, some not being added to the Trello at all After getting only one sketch and no updates, and not really getting any information from the artist when asked, I decided to create a dispute through PayPal. It was not a chargeback, and the purpose of it was to simply try to talk it out as adults. At this time this was not yet a chargeback, but a dispute. After this was opened I received this as a response. In every conversation I had had with them, I was never told they had commissions from months before that they had not started, and they never updated me on their rl life or situation. They also were continually advertising that they were open on public discords, and taking commissions while others had theirs put aside and ignored. Including my own. After the explosive response I escalated the dispute for a chargeback, and received a refund from PayPal.

A few months ago I had commissioned snuffles to draw my Vaporeon. I did not give any specific action to draw, as I just wanted to see what she could do. The tweet in the discussion of the commission also doesn't appear to exist anymore, as the tweet cannot be found. After a couple of days she began working on the commission and I received the finished piece. A few days ago I received a message concerning the commission, asking if it had been mine and if I had known what had happened to it. Around ten full months ago I decided to contact this artist that I had already reached out too before hand for art and we have/had a decent and friendly relationship. I wanted to do a small YCH featuring one of my oc's and a random one to be picked out by me and the artist. The initial sketch of the painting was done up quickly, and the public ych was held and paid for. This was 350$ from me and 250$ from the other person who participated in the raffle. It was paid from me the day after the ych post was created. We decided on who to pick on the 19th, three days after I paid. The first update I asked for/received was on 11/11, I did get a wip of it and it was fairly nice. We did have a good relationship here and we talked often about random topics. Second update! Everything is going well! Again, I've never been rude or mean in any way and at that point we'd be considered friends/friendly Reached out again five months after the last update since I wasn't sure what was going on at this point. The artist admits that it has been too long herself and says she just needs to get it done. I'm skipping months here since I decided to give her some time, but I still bought other images since I assumed she was steadily working away at it. I was still commissioning the artist during this time. Honestly a mistake. A month later she decided to fully restart the image after a long delay. At this point it has been over half a year and she had just restarted it. Again, at no point was I ever rude or mean or short. Always gave her room and let her work while occasionally asking for updates. At this point I finally express my frustrations and I'm very upfront about it. She offered a free sketch in compensation and I definitely took a jab at her offer. I did accept the offer and I'm really tried not to be too upset/rude in my messages and I don't think I was aside from the jab. I didn't even ask for a wip at this point since I kind of assumed she hasn't made any progress. This was the last message she sent me, which was just over a month ago now. Still not sure what kind of progress has been made if any, she hasn't responded to my messages, hasn't responded to the other person participating in the ych with me. This is a 600$ image that was paid for when commissioned in full. There was no delay in payment, I was never rude, always friendly. While I waited for this painting, she finished another image for me in this time frame. Not only that but several rounds of commissions have come and gone, with the artist accepting more while I haven't received my finished commission. As of right now I have received nothing. No response for the last month, well past the time she claims to have moved. As of right now 0/600$ has been refunded As of right now, the offered sketch hasn't been given As of right now, no further communication has been had. Not sure what else to included, feels like I've been scammed out of money

In April of 2015 a brand of designer underwear with a hole for allowing a tail as to be worn with a fursuit was advertised. This brand was called Fursace. It seemed pretty legit at the time and so I pre-ordered a pair. Things were looking good, as an email announcing the beginning of shipping came about a month later. I looked forward to receiving my undergarments soon after. At this time they requested an additional $10 for shipping, which I thought was strange but I was okay with it at the time. Unfortunately a couple of months passed, no underwear, and then finally I received an email about delays with a bunch of excuses. I was sympathetic though, and decided to give them a chance, believing they would come through in the end. A few more months went by, no underwear. In mid December, I received yet another email with even more excuses and apologies, and a plea for people to not file PayPal disputes because they were DEFINITELY going to send out their product if people have them a chance because their PayPal account had been rendered unusable. Again I gave them the benefit of the doubt, something I now regret doing. They promised to work on getting orders out and that they would be waiving the $10 shipping fee (which I had already paid), but I never even got a refund on that. About a month passed and there was no word, and so I sent a DM through twitter. It went completely ignored. Then I made some tweets about the issue a couple years later and finally got a response in DM. We had a discussion and Dalmy said that they were rebranding and would be issuing refunds for Fursace once they finished with releasing the new line of apparel, now called Maul Apparel. I wasn't happy with this, but they wouldn't budge, so I just had to wait. I waited 5 months and sent another DM, which was completely ignored, and all current attempts to contact them about this issue in any way has been ignored. I really just want my refund, and for everyone else who never got their products to be refunded. But if I could get mine, I would say I am satisfied.

I had given him money for a commission, however he made a few concerning posts that made me want to get a refund. He posted that he would refund, but when I messaged him he became hateful and refused to refund me.

I had expressed interest in a character Beauregardent had in their TH and had offered to trade for it. Eventually they told me over Discord they'd be willing to sell her to me for what they paid. They promised they'd hold her for a few days while I got the funds together, and on the 1st I paid $300, and the remaining $100 on the 6th. Unfortunately I don't have the messages to our original conversation, but I do have the DMs concerning payment and paypal screenshots. Today, August 21, I was informed by someone on TH that they'd also bought the same character from the same person. (I'm DeadGalaxy) When I showed them the logs of the sale, we've come to the conclusion this was done intentionally and was no mistake because while I had sent my first payment first, they had paid Beauregardent only a couple of days later. From the other buyer: I have never had a situation like this concerning character trades/sales and it is upsetting, both for the amount paid and the trust breached. I DM'd Beauregardent at the start of this info being sent to me but at this point I still haven't gotten a response from Beauregardent on resolving the situation. Edit: $195/$400 has been refunded. Edit2: The adoptable has been refunded.

I commissioned this artist to make a character sheet for my OC for $100. I paid upfront. Though he was iffy about the proposed due date, he said he'd do his best and I was willing to allow wiggle room. I contacted him a month later (May 23rd) to ask about progress. He said he'd get back to me, but didn't until June 27th, saying I "Slipped" his "mind". I poke him again on July 20th, and he claims that he's been sick all month. I send one "hello" message on August 8th and another on August 17th. No response. During this entire time, CozyCollie has been tweeting about accepting more commissions and doing YCH's. The screenshots I provide are of our DM's and some posts he's made regarding taking more commissions after I paid him for mine.

Commission was asked for through DM's on twitter. Invoice was paid on the 29th of July Commission was completed 30th of July and delivered/received. Dispute was made August 15th User seems to have changed their twitter handle in that time. ( Previously @ FoxyAnya_ | Currently Aika_productions ) I have included the form reference link opened as a screenshot and a screenshot of the character ref provided via DM to prove it is the same commissioner by reference given despite the name change. I contacted them via DM and learned that they were on the used paypal account with their guardian. (I also speculate this is why the invoice e-mail is different from the dispute e-mail on paypal) The guardian has filed the dispute. After further discussion with the client it appears they asked for the commission. Paid for it, and now the guardian is disputing. I requested to be put in contact with the guardian to try to resolve this. Client dodged this request. I inquired if they had text proof of the guardian granting permission for them to get the commission through the account. They said yes, they had texted it. When I asked for a screenshot for my paypal case they stated they could not find it and stopped responding. Paypal dispute is still pending. I have provided all information I could to paypal at this point, however, as this client claims to not be in charge of the paypal account they utilize I felt this warranted a warning.

On June 17, 2019, after seeing a post on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/c1l10a/art_i_will_draw_your_pc/) I went to Sketchy Kyle's fiverr to place an order for a commission totaling $42. The set due date was June 22, 2019 but on this day the artist opened a dispute to extend the deadline to June 25, 2019 citing personal reasons and being busy with other commissions likely coming from the same reddit thread. I agreed as waiting is usually no worry for me, but days then weeks passed with no updates. On July 18, 2019 I messaged them in an attempt to get back into contact with them, as fiverr showed that they had been online recently. No answer. Again I attempted communication on August 2, 2019, and again no answer. On checking their fiverr profile it would seem that they have deleted their account. Thanks to fiverr I still have the $42 but it is locked to the platform. I'm afraid I'm not the only one from the reddit thread that received the same treatment so I hope that if they should surface with a similar username others can be aware of their practices.
