About Me

  1. Found artist advertising commissions on Reddit under the reddit name "meal_t1me" . I had gotten a commission from them initially on 5/21/21 with no issues whatsoever, and then a few days later they sent me a DM begging me for money. After some dispute over the amount, I agreed on a second commission. I sent a payment for this commission for £26.25 (£25 + tip) on 5/29/21. A few weeks passed with no response from the Artist to which they finally messaged me with that they are "being thretened to be doxed". More weeks passed with no response. On 6/17/21 I requested a refund for the commission. A day later they said they are sorry, they are being threatened, and "will get to my commission ASAP" It is now 7/16/21 and the artist deleted their discord and reddit accounts. All screenshots of our conversation, and proof of paypal transaction are being submitted with this post, with sensitive information censored out. Some important things to note: [Mod Note: We removed a segment on supposed proof of the user "begging" for money. While this artist's behavior is inexcusable, they were not begging for money. They were asking for work.] Artist begging for money in a direct message to me Artist using multiple discord accounts [Mod Note: Upon looking around, this isn't two discords. It's Nitro] Artist using multiple paypal accounts Artist changed the agreed upon price of a commission Artist has deleted all means of contact
  2. Caudle does not create art pieces, instead he creates audios that feature a variety of kinks. Things like hypnosis, vore, coiling and the like. He writes the script, creates the sounds, and hires a voice actor for it. He mostly creates audios for purchase on his store at Sibylline Sounds, but he also offers custom audios of your character. I commed him to get a vore audio of one of my characters. I sent in an application and he responded the same day confirming the details and giving a deadline of 2-3 weeks. (Some of the email correspondence will have weird formatting. This is because I deleted them from my inbox and had to find them in my sent mail. Also, I censored his email, because while it is the official email for his store, I wanted to be cautious.) I confirmed the details and paid the invoice. After about a month with no updates I contacted him asking for an update and was told there were some delays and I would have a script to approve that week. I was never sent a script, so I waited a couple of weeks. After not hearing anything I contacted him again at the end of May asking for another update. He apologized for the delay and told me he would send a script soon. Which I never received. After this I held off from requesting updates for a couple of months thinking that the pandemic and things going on in his personal life were probably taking precedence. In December of 2020 I sent another email asking for an update, but got no response. Finally near the end of January 2021 he contacted me and gave a short update, including a small draft of the script. I was told that it should be finished sometime in early February. Never got contacted in February, so I waited a couple months and sent a request for an update in April, but got no response. Later on in the beginning of June I sent another email asking for a response. He replied back, saying the delay was because the voice actor he wanted to use was not responding to any of his messages. He offered a refund, but I declined because I really do want this audio. I asked to be kept informed about the status of the audio and he agreed to send me updates every week. After a couple of weeks of not getting any updates I sent an email asking if he had any luck finding new voice actors. He replied that he had and sent me some demo reels of a couple of actors. A couple of days later I asked for an update on the script and he replied that he made some progress on it, but was having writer's block and asked for suggestions for other scenarios. That is the last correspondence between us. I still really do want this audio, his work is amazing. I understand that creating an audio is more complex than general art. I do understand that delays and IRL stuff do happen. I just wish he were more communicative about that. If delays happen I want to be informed and if I deadline is missed I want to be contacted about it instead of me having to contact him.
  3. Contacted the Artist on the date of August 25th 2019 after seeing them advertise in a Dealer Den group on Telegram. Commissioned from them an Icon and a Sketch. After talking about the commissions for a short while I payed them. The next month they told me they were going through personal stuff and thus they've been radio silent. They said it'd be done by the following Sunday and thanked me for my patience. That was the last time I'd hear from them. For the next few months all the way to April of 2020 I would message them to try to get some form of update from them. On Feb 9th 2020 I sent them a message asking for any kind of update and that I'd be fine with the wait so long as they gave me anything. On April 16th 2020 I've had my last straw and sent them a lengthy post telling them that the ghosting was unacceptable and that I'd be reporting them to the telegram group I saw them on originally. Months later they deleted their Telegram completely. Their FA hasn't had a post in a year and their Twitter is Private. Chat logs will be posted as photos however with their real name blacked out. A final attempt was made to contact the artist again on May 15th on the email address specified plainly on their FA account and the artist has not responded, since.
  4. i approached Devicre in September to ask about if they did comics to which they said they were willing to take on my project despite the lack of experience in the field. I gave them the details then we agreed on a payment amount and i began making payments. I received rough wips of 2/5 pages in october. I eventually had to stop in October as i went away for a personal anniversary. In November i didn't make payments because of the weirdness of paypal bouncing funds around during a dispute with customer so when i thought they took money for Devicre they had took money for random disputes, but i made the final payments in DEC and told Devicre we could pick it back up in January since they had to take commissions between the time frame i was gone. This was ok for me because between December-January i was in the hospital so nothing could be done anyhow. Once we reconnected and were ready to start, a fallout with a former friend who i was gifting this comic to led to me wanting the comic to be changed to not include them and we agreed on a valentines day comic instead. They said they could do it and we went with the new idea and char. February 20th came and id received no wips or updates. February 25th and they tell me they would need more money to put the comic idea to action. I decided against paying more since there had been no wips and said scrap the vday comic just go back to the other comic then because we already agreed to the pages for that and 2 were sketched out so no reason it cant be finished. March came and no updates i asked for updates i got nothing. I decided to give them space to work and didn't ping them again til May for a update to which i received no answer and started to look around for their activity, and a wip to which neither was available. At this time id done my research to find any page thy were active on since they weren't active on fa but would pop up once a while on picarto to stream commissions they took. I caught them the first time and message them there they finally answered me this was may 7th and on twitter i sent a message but they said they never got it. I was given a run around about them having backlog due to the commission not being done in sept and oct. but as i'd told them they had from dec-may to start something. We came to a mutual understanding they would work on the comic in may and start over with where we were. May came and gone and once more i was left in the dark on may #1st they said their hand was hurting from a injury of some sort but id by then found them streaming many times on commission work they recently took up even so much as offering in steam commissions. I given them the ultimatum of giving me a start and finish date or refund me to which their response was they were gonna stream it that morning but after me being pushy they don't feel like it. They once more gave me a finish date of the end of the month for June but once more fell thru on that. They told me they offered me at one point to scrap the comic and trade out for regular arts but i refused that offer i wanted the comic or a refund. I received a sketchy wip on June 22nd after no response and the looming threat of a beware to them. I eventually popped into their streams a few times where they had a queue and saw they listed my comic under commissions and was upset addressing the fact my commission was from last yr so no other commission could possibly have come before that or their statement of having to clear their schedule back then for me would have been a lie. Fast forward in July i asked for a update i got no answer. I saw on fa they randomly made a come back post in august saying they will be active and taking commissions and ychs and old commissioners had to email them if they wanted their work done by aug14th, I emailed them and i was met with excuses but told they will get it done.once the time frame came and gone i emailed again and got no answer or response back, i also received no answer on discord . As of today i am unable to charge back because i do not have that paypal anymore and it well past the protection date anyhow, looking thru my bank statements it seems i only paid 200 thru my bank and the rest thru paypal balance. They owe me a refund at this point in time. in my screenshots i will cross out any personal information and the name and picture of the person who was to be in the original comic as we are not on terms and i do not wish to get them involved... the first few are from fa the second set is from discord the last set is from picarto whisper chat system and then there is the email and proof of payments
  5. - At TFF I commissioned Onnanoko to create an articulated badge. The price for the badge was $100, $50 of which was paid up front. The original plan was for me to pick up the badge at BLFC 2020. When BLFC 2020 was canceled I said that I would pay for the badge to be shipped. Onnanoko replied, 'that is very kind of you, thank you ^^' That was April 19, 2020. 14 months ago. That was the last message I received from her. Since then I have sent a series of follow ups, none of which have even been read. She has not responded to a single request, despite visibly logging on Telegram multiple times. I am out $50. -
  6. I paid for a full body piece of Blazing Ifrit's commission which happened in June of last year. I was happy that he was sending me WIPs of my commission but I noticed he started taking other commissions as well which he hasn't fulfilled mine yet. When I asked him why the commission wasn't finished yet, he basically said that he was having a difficult time with his friend (or sister) with their suicidal thoughts. I cut him slack because he was going through a hard time. After a couple months , I poked him seeing how he was and if there was any progress at all. He gave me one more WIP on FurAffinity but after that, he hasn't been giving me updates or WIPs at all. Today, I asked him if I could get a refund and waiting to hear back from him. This artist should be avoided due to their lack of communication and lack of service.
  7. Outline: -Original Agreement: Besped (aka Datfox on Discord) came to me on Discord after talking to me on FurAffinity in notes, where we exchanged our Discord names/codes. We talked in short detail about doing an animation for me containing just a single character in color of approximately four to six seconds. The total price of this animation quoted to me by Besped was $250, which we agreed to split into two separate invoices for $125 each. The first invoice was paid on December 23rd, 2019 while the second one was paid on March 13th, 2020. After March 24th, all communication form Besped/Datfox ceased for no discernible reason. They have not blocked me or unfriend and remain unresponsive after expressing my anger in no communication. - Proof of payment: Total is for $250, invoices were split into two for $125 each, paid in December 2019 and March 2020. See screenshots. - Any discussion with Besped/Datfox has solely been on discord as they seem to have gone quiet on FurAffinity, except for contacting certain users by notes. I have gotten all of my correspondence with Besped/Datfox in the screenshots provided. Any sort of contact information for any other location online does not appear to exist so finding alternative methods to contact the artist has been difficult. Most recent contact, unread.
  8. I commissioned Bianca for a half body pin up back in Aug 2019 I replied saying I'd sent the payment, then didn't get any response from them whatsoever Proof of payment: A few weeks went by and I hadn't gotten any updates, never got a response to me confirming payment, so I messaged them on twitter as they'd said they'd contact me through there. No response. I sent them and email, and then attempted through twitter again as I was still not getting a reply from them. Once I said I might ask for a refund, they finally decided to reply to me. They said they'd send me an update, and did so later. They also said they just had to clean it up. Again, months went by without hearing from them again at all. I was at a bit of a loss at this point, and seeing them constantly offer commissions and freebies on their twitter had me feeling some sort of way, so I replied to one of their tweets They DMd me and I decided to give them the option to refund me as I wasn't sure exactly what the issue was with them being unable to finish my commission. They said they'd get back to me, but as expected, they never did. After this, it's just the same thing with me waiting for months, then having to poke them on twitter about the commission, some times having to message them several times before getting a response. Message proof below. After this they sent me some other messages explaining the situation and saying they were having some trouble (there's some personal info that's not needed so omitting the long explanation), they also said they'd give my commission priority Since they'd explained things, I gave them a different character to draw, hoping maybe this one would be an easier thing for them to do. I was hoping for a confirmation on what they had decided to do in the end, but again, no response whatsoever for months. After this, I let it be for a long time because once again I felt at a loss about what to do. In the end I decided to ask for a refund as I felt I'd waited long enough. I haven't gotten a response, at this point I don't know what else to do other than warn other people in hopes they don't have to go through something like this, as I've pretty much given up on ever getting the art or a refund.
  9. Product (PWYW Commission) was offered as a public solicitation in a local State Telegram Chat. I was interested and contacted the seller via direct message on Telegram with inquiries. They explained that they were offering "Pay What you Want" (PWYW) commissions for sale: "just tell me what u want and a price and ill do it" to which I responded with for a $10 traditional commission request. After providing my character reference and commission details they gave me their paypal address and responded "ill get started when im on break", and "and i cant start until paid btw :)" to which I immediately paid $10 for. Up until now, all of this had occurred within one day on February 19, 2020. After I sent the payment, we had casual conversation about their fursuit and our dogs, which does not have much relevance here. My next communication with the seller was on March 10, 2020: I sent another Telegram DM "Hey there. Have you had a chance to work on the pwyw I had paid for a little bit ago?" to which they responded "no- i ned to make a trello. my commission list is so big atm xD. cuz i opened a ton of like $1 headshots". This was no big deal to me, it wasn't even a month since I purchased the commission and they seemed to have taken in a lot of other commissions at the time. On March 11, 2020 they reached out to me, "To all of my commissioners: its been super hard to keep on schedule so i have decided to make a trello 🙂 please send your ref(s) and what you purchased at your earliest convinience so i can add you to my trello, hope to satisfy you with my work soon - Connor~!" and I immediately resent my reference sheet along with the details that I paid for a $10 pwyw commission. On April 10, 2020 I sent the seller a screenshot of our previous telegram history of the initial 2/19/20 communication to which they replied "ty" On May 2, 2020 I replied to my 4/10/20 message asking "Any update on this? If you can't do it can you just refund me the $10?" to which they responded "i cant as that was my exs paypal. and he took it over" This was the last time that I spoke with the seller. To this day (Currently 06/08/21) I have gotten neither commission or a refund. In short, the seller made a solicitation in a public Telegram chat and I requested a $10 commission on 02/19/20 which I paid that day. Months went by with no commission despite me asking about it every once in awhile, and on 05/02/20 I requested a final update or a refund to which the seller said they could not do because the paypal that I sent the money to was not theirs and the actual owner locked them out. I never got a commission or a refund. Relevant images of the discussions I had with this seller and paypal transaction history are shown below. I censored out the seller's paypal address for the purpose of this posting.:
  10. Originally contacted on December 10, 2014: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6331414/#cid:43439341 Payment supplied on December 19, 2014: Originally paid for a 2 character picture, have currently been waiting almost 7 years with limit contact from the artist. Every time contact has been attempted I am either met with excuses or stories of troubling life events (Which I can understand to a degree). Although I believe I have been patient with the artist, I personally feel it is unacceptable to have taken my money and not provide any updates on what is happening. Since initial contact the artist has taken on other commission work AND finished them in a timely fashion while I am left waiting. They have also bounced around to different websites (Initial contact was on FurAffinity. They have also been spotted opening commissions through twitter in very recent times). I have managed to have recent contact with them through Telegram, and have even agreed on a different image as they had "lost" the WIP they had made for me. Agreed image would be 1 less character, so what would be regarded as an image of less cost from what I originally paid for. Since the agreement I have tried to keep in contact with the artist to attempt to make sure that there is frequent communication but have so far not even had my messages read, even though telegram states they have been active. I would have more conversation logs, however since the length of time I have waited for the artist, most of the chatlogs on FA have disappeared and Skype has become a thing of the distant past.
  11. I commissioned Angela on Furry Amino for a chibi fullbody on a base on the 4th of March 2021. The commissioned was $8. I lost the original thread of messages (their messages) since their profile was banned on Furry Amino. When a profile/account gets banned, all their messages get deleted as well. I sent payment on March 4 to Angela (payment receipt below). After a while, I try to reach ask her for more progress (if any), and whether my commission was completed yet. This was when I found out that their profile has been banned. Since their profile was banned, I tried emailing them on the PayPal email I sent the money to, but there was no response on the email (at the time). So, I asked a curator (a staff of Furry Amino) if I could take a look at their profile to see what other social media they're on, and they gave me a screenshot of their profile. I noticed that in their bio, there is a text that says "angxlavex" (the fancy text). I tried looking on different sites, and found that they are mostly active on toyhou.se, so I sent them a message. I sent her a message on 13 May, saying that she still owes me a $8 chibi. I asked her for a refund because so far, it seems like she wasn't going to complete the commission at all. 😞 She then replied (quite promptly) saying that she doesn't "have the toyhou.se usernames of everyone who had commissioned me", even though I never received any kind of contact from her (she never tried to reach out to me on my email on paypal, or literally anywhere else.. my username is 2DFIEND on every site btw). I replied, saying that surely she would have a list somewhere? And I asked for a refund, but she ghosted me, even though she already opened the message. They have opened and (I assume) read my message asking for a refund- if she hasn't opened my message, the text would be pink. I sent her another message on May 19, which basically has the same contents as the image above (asking for a refund, transaction ID and date). The message that was sent on May 19 is pink, which means she hasn't read it while the other one, she has opened it. Within the same hour of sending that message, she read my message, but still, no reply. They changed their username from angxlavex to inactiveaccont as of 18/5/2021: Update on the email as of 25/5/2021: I got a reply back on the email that was attached to the PayPal account, and I was told that Angela was not the owner of the account, and that the actual owner (the person emailing me back) has been letting Angela use it. He also told me his name (blue) and Angela's real name (pink), I blocked them all out for privacy. Proof that https://www.facebook.com/angela.vexx and https://www.facebook.com/purr.via is the same person as angxlavex on toyhou.se- the first two screenshots show that the same artwork was posted to toyhou.se within a week of each other. With the other two screenshots, angxlavex posted the EDITED version on her toyhou.se way back in February, and Purr Via used the unedited version as her profile picture on 19 May, and also has a copy of the unwatermarked image of the edited version. TLDR; I commissioned Angela, waited for 2+ months, they gave me no updates and they ended up getting banned on Furry Amino. I tried to reach out to her on toyhou.se (because she made 0 effort to try and look for me), and I asked her for her a refund but she changed her toyhou.se username, and didn't reply to my message even though she opened it. Basically, she ran away after I asked for a refund.
  12. Early in November someone I followed on twitter posted some art by an anonymous artist. Goopy approached me claiming she was the artist and after some back and forth I ended up commissioning her for a ref sheet totaling just over $68 USD/$85 CAD. Sadly my twitter account has been suspended so the initial conversation has been lost. During the first few days after payment she was actually quick with responses and actually proved a few WiPs, even giving some insight on changing some character details This was the last update on the order since I paid her A while later and after a bit of small talk I bring it up with her again as it's been a four months at this point. She was facing some personal issues at the time which I excused believing it would be resolved in time. Two more months pass by and yet again I ask if there has been any progress since then, I get yet another reasoning as to why she hasn't been working on it with an issue that I would have thought could have been resolved by the next day After that I was getting a bit frustrated and just decided to ask for a refund, she's since then still hasn't replied to me. What's even more aggravating is knowing she's doing fine and well, as she's been streaming on twitch up to 5 hours a day on some days. Mod note: Twitch cap removed because it was difficult to read and too large. But it was here. At the current time of this it's been six months since I've paid her, and I can no longer go through paypal to dispute the charge. I know there's another beware of this artist here already and really just hoping more people can be aware before she starts accepting more money from people.
  13. Hello, TL;DR: ChubbyCappie is keeping me on the hook for a $45 for five months with minimal communication and no proof of progress. ---- I never wanted to make a beware for any artist, but given the circumstances and the outcome at this point, my hand has been forced. It may not even be totally relevant for the future since they don't seem to be taking commissions outwardly anymore, but this was still a very poor experience, and warrants a beware as it is the only option I have at this point. For context, I have previously commissioned CC before (mid Sept of 2020) and was very happy with the result, not to mention receiving it within three days of me paying/first contacting. I didn't expect this to be any different, except for the fact I've now waited five months and have had minimal communication (all of which was from me to them; they never reached out to me first). ---- On November 24th, 2020, I contacted CC for another commission idea I had. I received a response the following day and sent my information to them, and I paid the invoice that day. Proof of payment (they don't have their name publicly available afaik so I censored it): Some time passes, it's now December 12th, and I haven't heard anything, so I reach out to them. I get a response on Dec 20th, and they ask for proof of payment, so I send it to them (censoring URL as it has the above screenshot but with less censored): This is the last time I heard from ChubbyCappie for months. Mid February of 2021 rolls around and I'm now getting frustrated. I responded to the last message they sent me (I hadn't received any others): I receive no response, so in mid March, I send an email to their PayPal email letting them know I'm still waiting and giving them the necessary information. The screenshot cuts off the full text, so I'll include it here, minus the image information. Hi, I paid you back on Nov 25, 2020 for a commission. The information is on Furaffinity. You’ve been silent on there but I follow your Twitter and have seen you active there. I’m wondering if I’m going to get my commission, or if that’s not possible, then I’d like to receive a refund. For simplicity’s sake, I’m going to include all relevant information here. I received no response and initiated a chargeback, and finally I received a response. SIDE NOTE: I learned too late to NEVER withdraw the claim, even if the artist asks (I was aware it couldn't be reopened but did it anyway), and that is on me, I know. Unfortunately, I did so, hence why I'm writing this beware, since I already made the mistake. Yes I'm still beating myself up for it. And no, I'm not happy that they asked me to cancel it. They may not realize that that's bad form, but still. The last time I heard from ChubbyCappie was April 7th, 2021. (link is NSFW so I censored it; the pose I wanted is only suggestive, and there is no NSFW detail in the original links so I didn't censor them) Now at the end of April and at my wits' end, I sent them this as a note and email, and then followed with the addendum note/email. They have not seen either yet on FA. Some people might think I didn't wait long enough after sending my final heads up before writing this, but consider: I've already been waiting five months I've been struggling to remain in contact Everyone I've vented to about this told me they wouldn't have waited this long I haven't seen a single WIP or any proof they've started on my commission I am a very patient, understanding client. I don't mind if people have delays, I understand internet issues. But given their recent activity on their other accounts, the lack of communication is completely unacceptable and honestly insulting, and I will only wait so long. ---- Conclusion: I feel awful that I closed the claim and should have either accepted a refund if they didn't want to deal with the limited time frame or done whatever else would have happened. I'm accepting that I will probably just have to bite the bullet on this one and accept the loss of $45, since while I don't believe at all that ChubbyCappie was out to scam me, they did. And that's unacceptable. They continue to be active on YouTube and Twitter and have gone inactive on their FurAffinity, so my only hope is that they catch wind that there is a beware on them and find a way to right this wrong, and I will gladly mark it resolved and move on with no lasting ill-will towards them. Thank you for reading. I hope something comes from this, but at this point, I don't know.
  14. I'll try my best to explain this case in chronological order. I claimed an YCH from said artist on Furaffinity on March 7th, 2020. I also paid it the same day. The basics, linking characters and discussing the little details. Nothing alarming. Fast forward couple months, when nothing seemed to happen, I asked them about the delay. It already took over three days to get a reply after being left on read, which unfortunately cannot be seen here. In August 2020 I actually got a WIP, well, after asking for it. Little did I know when I thought I'd get updates without asking. I was still confident that my fear was irrational and that work is being done. 9 months went by in absolute silence. (Later in the post why I didn't go poking them) I started to get really suspicious about what's going on. Anyone familiar with Furaffinity's file number system notices immediately, that their queue has years old YCH's and commissions, from which some has been completed, but I'm unable to find the most. Tells something how well clients are updated when even public queue is so neglected. Almost every client update has been a new or old reason why work couldn't have been done. Very unprofessional in my opinion. The text above describes my experiences with them until my first attempt here at Artists Beware. Moderators instructed me to give them a final warning before posting on AB, so I did. I went on full disclosure, and said that I've already gone to AB with this case, mainly to strongly describe my disappointment. I admit on my end that my actions haven't been flawless either, not even close. But I believe lots of the readers here at AB know the frustration when you think you've been scammed. Even in that case, I should have asked some questions, no matter how pointless doing so felt at the time. In the other hand however, I've commissioned dozens of other artists and they all provided updates themselves. So it's fair to assume it's a standard? Especially when to my surprise, today I found out that their TOS actually comes in two parts. The second part being so well hidden in the clutter of their front page that in all honesty I only found out today, May 19th, 2021, when making sure that none of my sayings is false. To which I never received a link or instructions to find it, neither of them. Well, see for yourself, is it easy to find? Though it seems that there is a connection in my proof that I have seen both parts. From which I had close to zero memory at this point, I realized this myself when noticing that my statement "I remember being told it'll take some time" was written on said missing TOS half. Honest question, am I expected to remember after over a year who had split their TOS in two, or what exactly was written there? Well at least that I was wrong about the client update policy, but also that the usual waiting time has been multiplied by 14. Content of the easily found TOS... ...and the not-so-easy-to-find one. My initial assumptions were quickly proven wrong, work had been done. To which I tried to apologize and told them that I'll have to reconsider my actions. I explained what has led to this and said I may take down the AB entirely. Well that was a lost cause. The main point is turning to their wait time and attitude. I've waited over a year and I get told that queue must be skipped due to a tight(??) deadline. How long I would have had to wait? Another year? This time frame is simply unacceptable. On top of that, my apology was turned down, with quite offensive wording. It was indeed me who started this, but it was also me who tried to apologize and make things right. They decided to hold to the hostility until the very end. It's apparent that they had no intention to resolve this in a civil manner. I wasn't left with much more options other than showing everything from start to finish. By the time of writing this I'm fairly confident that I'll receive the art after all, much work has been done in the last few days.
  15. Epilepsy warning: This usser made kidcore/webcore stuff, so lot of shiny things Okay, im kinda nervous and i hope i made this right. On September 6th, i asked NekoB0mb on their da about the prices of their customs. We come to an agreement and they give me their discord to talk about how i wanted the customs, originally they were 2. On discord i tell em i want 3 more and they agree, so i send the payment. They answered me and there wasnt any problem. I asked for updates each month, and they answered me, telling me they have exams or things like that. Agreement of two customs for 150 points each one and to pm them on discord Payment of points, it has two screen since later on discord, i tell them i wanted 3 more Description of how i wanted the customs, and kinda proof of them deleting their discord( it doesn't appear their ussername) Some months later, they desactivate their account on da, and delate their discord, thay were erasing their stuff on th. I panicked and send a message to someone they frecuently commissioned them. Who tell me they were in a difficult situation and that i didnt worry, that my comm will be make. So i waited. And time later they reactivate accounts. On ends of march i send them a message via th, and they tell me to contact them again via discord on a new one. So i did. And asked them if they have a problem with the comm they can cancel and give me a refund or that i can wait, i also asked if they had a waitlist. Contacting them after they desactivate their media and giving some time to rest, asking for update or refund if they cant do it. They answered me, they have wips of two of them. They telling me to contact them on discord to show me the wips and that. Me telling them that day and some days later i pm them. They ghost me for weeks. Time later i discovered they had instagram and i pm them about wanting a refund there sending the proof of the agreement and payment. And they continue ghosting me. They continue active on th and opening commissions on instagram and making some adopts. Me pming them about the customs and asking if they have trello/waitlist And being ghosted Contacting them on instagram, telling them that they tell me to pm them but they never answered, showing them proof it was me, and being ghosted again. Now on may, they got the last of my patience, i asked again about a refund on their the profile since they didn't answer any pm message i sent. And they erased the comment i put on their th. So some hours later i asked again telling them that please stop ghosting me, and how cynic is to make a post about being upset about being ghosted when they are doing the same. Time later two of their friends answered me with a low bad joke. Telling me they were dead/killed. I would have believe them if it wasn't by the fact that the user erased my comment and that they continually post and interacted with other commenters. Also that their kind of fun is like that inbetween them. Feel kind of immature. Contacting them on the comments for second time after the first comment was erased , telling them i wanted a refund becouse of the time with no updates and ghosting. And stuff of them accepting more comms and they need to have a better communication.
  16. March 2nd, 2020 SP and I were on VC when a question came up, as seen in the screenshot. Curious, SP made a sketch and shared it with me. Immediately, I jumped on it, offering money as first dibs. There wasn't an addition or edit for the design commission. Throughout this transaction, I did not ask for updates, as I trusted them enough to uphold their end of the deal considering they were a friend to me. Question Concept May 14, 2020 - 2 months from the start I sent them money to help out and thus, the design became labeled as "Sam Bait". Payment July 25th, 2020 - 3 months from the start I received a second update. WIP January 6th, 2021 - 10 months from the start I inquired about the design comm. They responded they had told me through one of our VC sessions they might have accidentally deleted the file. This, of course, made me upset. But they reassured me they'll restart the design and go deep diving for the WIPs they sent me as there were thousands of images to go through, as we nearly spoke every day. Inquiry February 24th, 2021 - 11 months from the start It turns out they renamed the file. Further discussion of the idea occurred. Last "Talk" May 1st, 2021 - (14 months from the start) I sent them a message regarding the design and having no desire of wanting it anymore. What led to my decision was the fact they had finished multiple comms that were accepted AFTER my purchase for the design and FINISHED before the completion. One given example is this: Trello: https://trello.com/c/JidbFFqZ Cancellation In conclusion, as a client, I'm thoroughly upset. Please, take caution when commissioning synthpolice. Having quality art does not equate to quality services. [Mod Edit]: After asking the client about a refund policy after the last pic, they responded that the artist has a "no refunds if the client cancels" clause. The artist has not contacted them since.
  17. As of this writing, posted in May 2020, I regret to make such a post for an artist that, given his talent, is unfortunately an artist that has given due consideration to list my grievances towards. To start things off, I had paid for a commission to the amount of $520 through Paypal, for one of his themed stream commission pieces. Below is a screenshot indicating the purchase that I made to that effect: Having worked with Bad Coyote, and Lobosan who acts on behalf of Bad Coyote in commission related conversation, I admit that I had some past difficulty with one other commission. However, I was willing to be lenient in spite of this, and figured that given a reasonable time frame, with updates about where I stand, it would be no problem ordering a commission for the amount that I paid (the amount paid, by the way, included a tip on top of what was asked initially). Here is a snap shot taken from Discord initially about where I stood for the piece. Here, this screenshot conveys that: I had paid for the commission (with tip included) Bad Coyote (aka BC) has indicated that the "bulk of this would be done either October / November" Details affirming the commission and an understanding of what I had ordered. Fast forward to December 2018 (at this point, 3 months later, 1 month behind estimated delivery date) At one point, I wanted to follow up with Bad Coyote and Lobosan to ask about the commission, so I had messaged Lobosan to ask about my commission In summary of the conversation made here in the following screenshots: Bad Coyote was not feeling well and was unable to give an update on the commission If I needed to discuss a refund, then I would be welcome to ask outright (this will come into play later) I tried to clarify I just wanted to get an understanding of where I am at Given the stressful circumstances, I was willing to extend the time I had to wait Sometime after the conversation, Lobosan and I had messaged to see if we could set up a time to where BC would stream and work on the commission A few days later, I had messaged Bad Coyote to see if I could get an update on the commission which I had ordered At this point, I was in line to discuss with Bad Coyote about setting up a session through a streaming platform where I could see the commission being worked on: A few days later I had received a message from BC regarding the session: I had no other record from either Bad Coyote or Lobosan from this stretch of time, on any of my devices or chat logs regarding the status of my commission that I have ordered. At this point, many months later after what I had thought I had made an effort to communicate my stance and hopes of getting updates on the commission I had ordered, I was at a bit of a lost as to whether I would get any kind of news, or even suggestion that my commission would be started on. Fast forward to May 2020 (at this point, 18 months later, grossly behind estimated delivery date) I finally receive an update, and at this point was in low spirits to a point that I frankly didn't care any more about the commission This is where things went south fast as I had tried to express my wish to receive a refund on the commission: At this point, being human and having my patience tested, I had responded in a manner of indignation to have to put up with this: It is a lot to digest from the conversation, but I would like to offer as much context to this difficult conversation that I went through: I have been a commissioner for a few years at this point having ordered around 10 pieces or so. I had thought I had established a good artist / commissioner relationship at this point My previous efforts to communicate on my commission piece had earned me the criticism from Lobosan to be called a "thankless customer" with a "poor attitude" My efforts to try and discuss a refund having waited for so long, was no longer open to discussion (even though Lobosan had offered to give a refund at an earlier point) Naturally I had conversed to Bad Coyote directly and addressed my disappointment in all of what has happened in the span of conversations I had over the weekend (as of writing this May 4 2020) This is ultimately what I was left with on a parting note from Bad Coyote: After 18 months of nothing to go on for the commission that I paid $520, there was nothing to give an update as he seemed to have not started on it I apparently have received the same amount of communication to the other commissioners he had (which I cannot imagine how nightmarish this scenario has been for the other commissioners) Trying to address a problem to both Bad Coyote, and Lobosan, about the commission I ordered and waited for several months ago, has come to a point where having to ask for a refund has warranted me is "thankless" by the artist himself Whether or not I will receive the commission that I have ordered, remains to be seen. I have no expectations on it being delivered to me, or that it will be worth the wait that I put up with trying to communicate to both Bad Coyote and Lobosan over the commission piece. In all, I fail to understand how in the process of all that I had to put up with from Bad Coyote and Lobosan how any of this could be considered a "satisfactory mutual conclusion" having been barred from further association when I tried to address a SEVERE PROBLEM in their business model and interaction with their client(s). I can NO LONGER endorse Bad Coyote as an artist that is worth anyone's time to order any commissions from. They have demonstrated poor communication with their commissioners and will attack / discredit legitimate concerns that are brought up against them.
  18. I won a Your Horse Here auction from the artist back on April 29th 2020 artist asked me to send them a note and I did with my email to get invoiced They never sent me the reply saying they had sent the invoice and I noticed it 5 days later when I logged in for another invoice. They had sent the invoice over as a Friends and Family request and I unfortunately was new at commissioning back then and did not know better then agree to that option. they never responded to my note when I found the invoice and let them know I paid it. I sent them another note in September checking for an update and I did get a Work In Progress image: since then I've asked for another update back in December I requested of them to do a character I had previously bought from them. I'd had other horses if he had been to complicated for it and would have been willing to change to a simpler horse if requested. to which it was marked as Read by fA but I was never replied to I sent another request for an update 3 weeks ago as we are quickly coming up to the 1 year mark since I commissioned the piece and the message is still marked as Unread they have recently posted finished pieces and more recently favored a new piece of art I have sent them a new message asking for either an update or a refund and will update when I get an answer to my latest note. I have some artists I have waited Longer then a year for. But that is with communication between myself and the artist. I am normally level headed and honestly I would not miss the $30 quite so much as unlike most I had steady work while others were in lock down and such. But with them ignoring my asking for updates and such. It rubs me the wrong way. I understand there might be things lost in translation, but I have worked with numerous artists who rely on translators to understand the work and I've not had any issues. So I'm feeling at this point that they don't really care about their smaller commissions, as I've seen art posted from their Iron Artist type stuff that was paid more for and art turned around faster then I have been waiting for this piece.
  19. Around the end of August 2020 I made a post in a facebook group for Custom Plushies asking to commission a plush maker for a plush of a character from the show Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go. One of the makers that approached me was a UK-based maker named Sona Simkova. On the post I asked them to send me a direct message with examples of their work. After they sent examples, I asked Sona if they had any social media accounts and this was their response. This is why they are referred to with their full name, as it is the only thing available ("Ockolapka" is from their public facebook page's URL). I agreed to commission them and on September 2nd 2020 I sent them payment via PayPal. Once the payment was given, I would message them every 1-2 months requesting updates on my commission. Being an artist myself, I'm more than understanding of how much time and work goes into making plushies so I never rushed them. In the beginning their responses seemed pretty normal delay responses. Now this I thought was slightly odd as they never mentioned before that my commission was in a queue, but I did tell them I was in no rush so I was understanding and let it go. Here is where I started to get worried. COVID-19 is no joke and of course if they did contract the virus I would want them to take it easy, but at the same time it started to get weirder and weirder that Sona was feeding me excuse after excuse. But I didn't want to think badly of them for it; I hated the idea of accusing them of being a liar during a deadly pandemic. However, this was also the start of their delayed responses, and I was started to get seriously annoyed that I was the only one initiating conversation. As you've seen in the previous responses, I had gotten a few "I forgot to tell you"s, so really I should've been a lot more suspicious much earlier on (Word is censored from their message because they put my last name). So once again I got radio silence, and it's getting close to me needed to move out of my current apartment so now I really needed my commission to be done sooner. At the same time I started to realize I might not even GET my commission, so I decided to twist the knife and see what happens. Unfortunately my fears were true. As you can see in my second response, Sona's facebook icon is next to it indicating they've seen the messages. They have now proceeded to ghost me and has not responded to my messages since. I reached out to one of the mods of the Plush facebook group about them and this was the response. Sona appears to be attempting to disappear, and has ran off with my money. I cannot open a dispute on Paypal because it's past their 180 day limit (which I will admit is on me for not keeping track on dates).
  20. Pepapen and her husband, Posepedia, had opened for collaborative commissions on March 27, 2021. I managed to get a slot for a single commission. Pepapen contacted me soon after, letting me know that the pair had accepted my submission for a commission. Here is the correspondence Pepapen and I had, coming to an agreement of terms for a single full body commission at $150 USD: Here is the proof of payment for the commission: About a little more than a week later, I was contacted by another individual with the handle Lainebrary on DeviantArt, who was messaging previous clients of Posepedia and Pepapen with compelling proof that the artist had been found to trace artwork. This prompted me to look for myself on one of the artist's webpages, where I found that I had been blocked by both Posepedia and Pepapen. As that had been the only method I knew to contact them at the time, I checked with an associate of mine to see if they were able to view their page for themselves. They found that they did have access to their DeviantArt page and decided to message them on my behalf: A few minutes after sending this message, both Pepapen and Posepedia had deactivated their DeviantArt accounts. As the website was the only way I had previously contacted them, I had no other known way to get in touch, short of emailing the PayPal address. However, because of the sudden closure of the account, followed by other accounts that could be found by searching their usernames on a search engine, I decided to go through PayPal to begin filing a claim. It was around this time I received this email from Posepedia through a previously unknown email: I do not have my email publicly available, so I took this as legitimate, since it is associated with my PayPal. I was offered a refund by a certain date, which has now passed and was not returned, and I have received no additional correspondence, even after replying to them and asking for the refund. As such, I have kept the claim with PayPal open and am now awaiting PayPal's ruling on the matter. While I have personal feelings on this matter, I wanted to present objective facts about my situation separate from them. With no communication, I feel it is appropriate to demand a refund, which has not been met as of the time of writing.
  21. "Emergency" summer pin-up YCH via FA submission circa July 13th 2018 meant to be completed within two weeks per the original posting. The submission that I had originally requested a slot from as well as the original request for payment from the artist has long since been deleted, but here is the paypal statement from it. I was rather busy during 2019, so I had let the commission sit dormant expecting it to be done at the artist's leisure, however around two two year mark of waiting (2020), I decided to follow up due to the extreme amount of time that has passed. Inbox record: Outbox record (including unread messages as of 4/13/2021) As can be noticed, several messages have gone unread over the last 5 months. This is in line with a previous artist beware I've now seen that was posted after my commission, and is also in line with multiple posts that are present in various journals /shouts the artist has on their furaffinity account. Record of notes I've had with the artist on Furaffinity, in chronological order: (Initial PM to them originally accepting my commission via FA submission) (Followup two years later) __________________________________ At this point, they had posted a journal on their FA that they had deleted their previous trello and made a new one - and to note them if you were missing from it. _________________________ I ended up hopping into one of their "OVERDUE COMMISSION ONLY" stream on picarto on Jan 13th, managing to give them a poke that I had sent them a note about my commission. (firefox history) They had posted a journal soon after this that were streaming via picarto. I had sent them a PM instream which also went ignored. (firefox history.) ___________________________ The artist has since been replying to people in journals taking additonal slots for work and various other responses.
  22. In July of 2017 I attempted to purchase a fursuit from Lucky Gum Fursuits (see originalpurchase1edited.png and originalpurchase2edited.png). After a few years of waiting I asked for the refund that was promised in their terms of service. The buyer agreed to the refund and promised to pay me back every month until I got $1515 promised to me (see promisedrefund1edited.png and promisedrefund2edited.png). However I have not received any of the payments. I have made several attempts to contact the buyer again to work with them personally on how to best resolve the issue (see twittercommunication.png and attemptedfurthercommunicationyahooedited.png) but they have yet to contact me back.
  23. Summary: Paid artist Hi-Ku for a $50 sketch commission on 22DEC2019. After over a year she has supplied exactly one update asking to change the sketch type and has ceased communicating on FA. Her Twitter, Deviantart, and Tumblr have all been deleted. On 22DEC2019, this transaction took place where I paid Hi-Ku for a sketch commission of a character I had previously purchased from her: Here is the PayPal record of the original payment: The next dialogue between us was on 27FEB2020, when she apologized for the delay and asked to change the sketch type due to burnout: Since then I have received no answers to requests for updates on FA or Twitter. She has ceased posting on both her FA and VK accounts, and has deleted her DeviantArt and Tumblr accounts. She seems determined to disappear entirely. Her 'to-do' list has remained unchanged since she updated it after our communication in February 2020:
  24. Explanation: Commissioned a fursuit tail, commission completed but never shipped??? Lack of contact/lying from maker. Proof of deadline agreement: Proof of payment: Commission was completed 12/03/2020: Communication starts to wane: I never received the tracking number or any proof of postage. Most of the responses from here on out were very short and lacked explanation of any kind. At this point I was starting to get a bit nervous and proposed a refund. They used my tail in another commission opening post on twitter and Instagram. When I looked into their Instagram I found a few comments from commissioners complaining about not receiving their commissions. (I cannot make any statements on these peoples behalf's and have no proof of their transactions. These screenshots are only provided to explain my motivation for filing a Paypal dispute.) [Proxy removed by staff. Submissions may only mention your transaction, and not others] I eventually decided to go through with the chargeback which closed in my favor on Jan 31st 2020. Was a really hard decision for me this time since they had actually completed the tail. I did say that I would be willing to send the money straight back to them if I received a tracking number or proof of postage. But unfortunately I haven't received any messages since.
  25. I was part of an auction of UtikaBu the auction is still here and his comment on winning. I won the auction on 25. Oct 2020 After this we exchanged our discord tags to talk about details there. We agreed to add some clothes to the picture wich would increase the price by 20 $ The artist was active and was slowly getting trough his queue all fine from this point so far. After some time he stopped posting stuff on FA and/or Twitter. This is where the silence began. After roughly 4 months I asked him for an update on his queue on 06. Feb. 2021. Sadly no response I waited and another month pasted and I sended him a note on FA on 15. Mar. 2021 Wich is still unread to this day I also wrote an email to his email address that is behind his paypal account he uses, wich reminds to look into the notes and discord messages. (Also no response yet)
