I had a few commissions from her before mine went bad. If you paid with a credit card you may be able to charge back with the card. You likely will not see a refund. I only got mine because someone else paid it. She has a huge owed list that isnt public.

They are factually incorrect. They are producing derivative work off of another artist's work. It being a Telegram sticker doesn't make the item's copyright void and open for public use. Gross.

But in all seriousness though: Given her comment that her mother can't buy DA-points for her, can it be that the artist is a minor who isn't allowed to use services like PayPal? In that case I'm afraid you're not going to see anything from her. ?

That is just not cool. Even I made sure my people who had requesred refunds got their money when I had it, and told them of when it would be available as well (such as what month). To just run because peiole bit off more than they can chew seems like a new thing some artists are soing nowadays. It's sad. :c i hope you can meet someone willing to do the piece who don't run and bail on you like this.

Looks to me like they were attempting to scam you by receiving the story before payment was made and when that didn't work, simply bailed.

Sadly i would not be surprised by that response at all from the trouble tickets. Though nothing really surprised me anymore from FA. Though sorry you had such an awful experience on FA.

ANOTHER UPDATE! Apparently, she's been sick and be MIA for the past week, so she is still refunding others. Call it an extension, more or less. We'll see if I'm still on that list, but based that I dropped 160$ on my commission, I think it's unlikely.

Is your paypal connected to your bank/used a bank card through the paypal payment? If so, you may be able to go to your bank to force a refund. -
I'm sorry OP [and the commenter above] had to deal with this. I hope you can get some sort of resolution. Seeing her behavior patterns like this is why I've never commissioned her. I've purchased multiple adopt bases from her, since that's already completed and they get delivered to me within hours or a couple of days of me buying them. I'm willing to buy more bases if they catch my eye, but I'd never get a commission from her.

Nycket had a history of ghosting and returning out of nowhere for a little while, then ghosting again when it came time to pay up in owed art. I saw many of the same practices described here.

You’re right, that’s definitely them, but the twitter available on their FA is inactive, unless that one was there and I missed it. I also managed yesterday to get in contact with them on discord as that is public info on their furaffinity, but after I said who I was and such they so far haven’t responded despite being online. It’s not looking good.

No, I agree. In hindsight I let my emotions get the better of me. I have other artists that have scammed me but Dirt-Chomp sticks simply because she's taking commissions and uploading to tumblr. It is infuriating and she's had an artist beware previously and had it resolved. I guess I just waited too late to get mine out there.

Um, no. I emailed the work. I didn't actually rock up at her work, pretty sure we're in a different country and not to sound mean or anything, but it's $105 and I had exhausted every other avenue.

She is being very unprofessional ignoring you and not issuing a refund. The beware is well reserved. You mentioned you contacted her at her workplace as a last resort, and that is troubling to me. I don't think that was appropriate to contact her at her work. -
All of that lying is very troubling. Would definitely avoid them based on that alone, no matter how well the construction is. I'm very sorry you had to deal with all of their lying, running around, etc.

Your best bet at this point is tell her "Send it monday or i'm filing a chargeback", and then file the chargeback Tuesday morning.

I wish i had saw this before buying a base from them. Two months now and no shipment. Their customer service and communication is horrible. The base i bought is PREMADE too, all they have to do is mail it out. Last week they gave me an excuse that their tire went flat. Still no sign of my base....

If they're out of the 180 day time frame, then their only recourse is legal action. With that said, winning a judgement against someone doesn't mean they'll actually pay. ?
