I've met through this client through discord server as I've noticed that he was looking for animators and decided to work with him. Everything was going great as the client was providing me with references and etc. The commission was a walking bouncy boob cycle and the second option was my choice which was the shaking butt animation... What I didn't know and it was something that he told me last minute after putting all of details and working on the second animation was that he wanted it as a sequence all together which I've declined because that was over the budget limit that we agreed on. Until the client kept demanding for me to work on their project which I've declined till they paid me amount I've asked (which is half upfront and the other for when the project was completed) for which eventually the client did cover the first half of the payment. During the process the client demanding as they kept asking for constant changes to the project which wasn't the part that made this person a bad client in my view. But the client requesting changes to where there's no end result. Also, I've placed an hold on the client's project in order to work on a different project for a bit before going back to this one since I've had another commission to work on at the time before resuming the animation project. During the process he kept asking for animators including from me which I've gave him the name of another artist who was my business and romantic partner so that the client could chat with him. Everything was fine until I've noticed that the client was using my partner to replace me for a project the person already paid for and I was already in the process of working on (without consulting with me first). Then things went downhill when the project was completed and all of a sudden the client couldn't afford it, so I had to cancel the project. Before the fall out, this person was using their personal issues to gain sympathy from others. This client is still seeking artists to commission while advertising their condition and not having the funding to pay artists! Beginning of commission: Changes: Asking to work on comm 3 days later: Looking for other animators: Request for donations in DMs: Unable to send final payment. Proof of first payment:

Beware foxyfluffstudios / alex-rose-nitya / Alexanderea Rose
Vinfang posted a record in Client Bewares
She tried to hire artists on FA under guest name, alex-rose-nitya on mar18, 2020. She PMed me, but said no Paypal, only Cashapp. I declined. Then again on April18, 2020 as foxyfluffstudio. I lost my regular income and was desperately seeking work. So I agreed to accept Bandcamp giftcards. (I had planned to spend the full amount on about 10~20 musicians / bands, some charity to help them through this rough time...) I noticed that she was having thoughts of selling adoptables created from the bases she commissioned, and Her FB profile was non-exsisted, but whatever who still uses FB. Total summary of her crime - She commissioned 4 base packs ( 32 full-body lined characters in total ) and paid $60 out of $480. I finally recieved half of the total payment, after weeks of stalling. Finally, I let her download the 2 completed base sets. At this time I realized my balance went down, but don't know any better, and bandcamp 's staff was overwhelmed with emails, and their waiting line took a lot longer than usual. She denies that she bounced my payment. And once I received bandcamp's feedback and did some digging. (thinking she might be a kid) Found out she is not a kid and asked again if she can switch to PayPal. She kept on lying. The last confrontation of this sad story - After showing her the copied response from Bandcamp, her FA status went immediately from New member > Pending deletion. -
On Oct. 5, I saw the artist's post on twitter advertising that their commissions were open: I reached out to them over Twitter DMs to inquire and to work out the whole commission. You can see that I asked for the sketch with rough colour. Cross referencing with their website, it states that it would look in quality and size as this. Therefore I was expecting a full body piece. The artist sent the invoice that I paid for promptly. You can see in the twitter DMs above but I will reattach again to explain: I reached out a few months later to ask about the status of the commission. I had understood that it would take a while to complete and was in no rush but wanted some form of an update. I stated as well that I did not mind if it took longer to do, I simply wanted information on the commission and its status to know if the artist still intended on working on it at all. The artist finally sent an update. Here, the image sent is a knee-up. At this point, I understand that it should have been on me to confirm if it would have been full body but I (foolishly) assumed that it would be just like the examples on their website. A day after this update was sent, I received the image through email. While I did receive the image in the end, the quality of the piece was much worse than the ones advertised and was not a full body. This is what I received: This is a better view of the images that were advertised on the artist's website under "SKETCH", also at $35 with +$5 for the rough colour. There is clearly a huge style, cleanliness, and detail discrepancy between the commission I received and the ones advertised. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with the end result and how both the quality and the type of commission did not match what was advertised and what I had paid for. I understood that the artist may have had to take longer on the piece (stated on their rules/ToS) but I wanted to reach out to get an update. I felt that I had waited a decent amount of time to warrant the messages (artist also states on their website that status updates are allowed to be asked for, just not daily) and I had complied and did not ask daily. I waited 2 months before contacting after the initial payment and then another week before sending the next message.

Last year at the end of March, my friend and I decided to get a commission from xBlueAshesx. I commissioned her before and had some problems with her, however, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and give her a second chance. I commissioned a 2 character NSFW lined illustration. xBlueAshesx and I discussed the details on March 28th, 2019 and I paid on the same day. About a month went by before I asked her for an update. She claimed that my piece was on her queue for that week and I should expect an update soon, however, I never received one. I messaged her again on July 8th, 2019 and asked for another update, but she never responded despite reading the note. Finally, on July 30th, 2019, I asked for a refund. Her TOS states that the art can take up to 15 weeks to be completed, it had been 17 weeks before I asked for the refund. She finally responded to me and agreed to the refund. She's still very active on FA. She usually posts 1-2 times a week, however, I have a hard time getting her to respond to me. She only responds to me when I talk about doing a chargeback. Sorry for the length. This has been going on for a long time and I wanted to include as much as I could as proof of her poor communication skills and lack of professionalism. TLDR at the end. Payment: Agreeing to take the commission: My response and payment information. Beginning of email included as proof of payment: Confirmation that the payment was received: My first update request: My second update request a few months later. The note was read but she never responded. I can tell that the note was read because there would be a yellow envelope icon next to the note subject if it was unread (Legend included in the screenshot as proof. An example of an unread note will be included at the end of this beware): Here she's agreeing to the refund: I messaged her again about the refund after she posted a journal about having enough money to give refunds. The journal she posted about the refunds has been deleted. She never responded: I asked for an update on the refund earlier this year. Again, she never responded: At this point, I had gotten tired of not receiving a response so I tried to set a deadline for the refund. 7 months had gone by but I still hadn't received the refund nor an update. Her TOS state that the refund could take up to 6 months. She never responded: She finally responded when I talked about doing a chargeback. As previously stated, she didn't respond to any of my other notes: My response to that: She didn't respond again. So I messaged her again. She was active on both March 2nd and 3rd: She didn't respond until March 4th when I told her that I could see that she was reading my notes. Along with mentioning taking my money back: I sent her my email and amount. I can include that message if needed. She never sent the refund so I messaged her again. "Bruh" was not an appropriate answer to a commissioner who's been waiting for a refund for 8 months: I waited another month before messaging her again in hopes that she'd send the refund. I messaged her 2 days ago, but she hasn't bothered opening the message, despite being active and posting art to her gallery. You can see the yellow envelope, showing that she hasn't read it: Proof that she was active yesterday. She posted several things on the 21st: The part of her TOS that talks about refunds and TAT (turn around time): TLDR; Long story short, this has been going on for over a year. She's still very active, but refuses to give me my money back. Again, i'm sorry this is so long, but i'm so tired of this. I honestly don't thing i'll ever get a refund. I hope you're all safe during this crazy time! Thank you for reading. Let me know if I should add anything else or if there's anything I can do 😞

Zeska Roo/Daze Otterson had made a post on his account saying he needed money, so he discounted his fursuit prices (post was deleted, so I do not have a screenshot of that). I was wanting some indoor paws because I really enjoy the aesthetics of them. I commented on the post and we took it to PMs. Here we are hashing out details of what I wanted. He states that they don't do invoices. It off set me since I just comissioned someone who did do invoices, but I know each artist is different, so I didn't pay any attention to it. Proof of payment I ask if he has a queue of any sort, he claims he is working on a trello. After a month and some days, he gives me a -sorta- deadline, so I don't bother him for a while. November 6th, he asks if anyone is wanting to get a fursuit. I contact him on November 26th, I message and get no reply or even left on read, so I ask for a refund. He sends his friend [redacted] to speak to me (screenshots ahead has his face blocked out because he's not guilty in this and I feel uncomfortable with having his face in this) So I go to telegram to talk to Zeska/Daze (last 4 of number is blocked out) He has posted again on FB saying he's no longer on post block as seen in the screenshot below (but I didn't see it till some days after since I had unfollowed him) So after radio silence, I messaged on Telegram (seen in screenshot 9) and after a little more silence, I messaged on Facebook (screenshot 6) Here, he is seen still posting on Facebook after my message on Telegram. And here he is seen still posting after my message on FB. I have since forced a refund as seen in the screenshot below. I don't know if others have had this issue, so that is why this is under Artist Caution.

I commissioned this artist back in October 2019. I had previously received completed work from this artist and at first everything seemed fine. So I commissioned him again this time for a new OC character. It was planned to be for a much larger story project, however I ultimately couldn't afford the project it so I called off the project and stopped at just doing the the commission for the new OC character. It was still agreed on to complete the character which had been started and paid for. And is shown by a previous message on December 23 asking for an update on that commission. The most I have received of that commission is an incomplete sketch, nothing close to the completed piece, and that was over 7 months ago at the time of writing this. Later when cancellation is mentioned I spoke only on condition of receiving a refund if the work would not be completed. It was either giving the money back for the art or completing the artwork. And I have received neither. Working with him he acts extremely unprofessionally, when I would ask for an update on the art and eventual refund would completely flip out in a rant and try to guilt me into thinking that I had done something wrong by asking for an update on art that I had paid for. He would cite things such as others have paid him thousands for art on why he's not working and things with life (such as his daughter and other family) repeatedly as another reason why the work isn't done. As well as guilted me for simply asking for an update for art I paid for, calling me selfish and saying I only cared about myself for asking even though I would go months in between asking about the status. And finally threatening legal action for saying I would go to my bank to report undelivered goods. He mentions doing free work, however that was never the case. There was never any free work agreed on or done, only paid work. An important note he originally reached out to me to get me to do a commission with him, by complementing my character and generally buttering me up and acting friendly just to ask me if I wanted to commission him. I previously had posted a client beware message on his Deviantart page as a comment, however he deleted it and blocked me from his page entirely. He operates another page which I am also blocked from viewing. As of writing this I have received no contact from him it has been nearly a month since the last series of messages. And no updates beside the sketch from 7 months ago on the art I have paid for. While he continues to remain very active and post art on patreon, deviantart, furaffinity and twitter. Below I have included conversions with him asking for status updates, and a refund. As well as the message showing payment send and the WIP sketch.

I thought I got a steal. 3 Months ago I purchased two commissions from this artist at the same time. The transaction was paid for and done the same day in the same receipt. I made multiple attempts to receive the work and never did. Was just led on time after time while watching their queues fill with more and more work they were somehow producing and still getting paid for by other people. On month 3 I messaged for a refund and was told to search through the SCRAPS on their FA, link them to the two I want that AREN'T the originals I paid for, link them my reference again, and they would finish it in a week. At this point I am making this because they flood FA with YCHs but have been finishing commissions of favorites firstly. Others like me go without ours for months even with reminders. https://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_04/Screenshot_20200423-062625.png.d87535b97f84221e11158d2e3e8f14d5.png 05.03.20: No refund has come.

Product was listed by seller in multiple "dealers den" chatrooms on the app Telegram. The product is a fursuit/costume head base made of upholstery foam primarily. I was interested in the product and contacted the seller with inquiries. I asked them "can you tell me more about it?" [image 1], and was only told the price, location of product for shipping costs, permissions with the product, and other materials provided. This product was to be purchased from the seller, I would fix it up and make it into a character, and resell it once the product is completed. This was understood by the seller, as we had discussions about my permissions with the base and the character it was to be made into. Upon arrival, the product was not only crammed into a box that was too small [image 2; showing the size of the product and the box itself], but it also reeked of cigarette smoke. Upon confrontation, the seller confirmed that their mother smokes in the house [image 3]. I cannot clean or sell a product that has been this exposed to cigarette smoke- it is a hazard. There was an attempt to clean it before I contacted the seller with my complaint, which included drier sheets on the interior, and spray cleaner on the exterior. Nothing seemed to help. Seller also explained that they can only "do 20% nonrefundable on any refund"/"u will only get an 80% refund," but this was not provided in a Terms of Service beforehand (on Telegram or Paypal) and was not discussed whatsoever. I did not feel comfortable following through with this offer, since it was given once I brought up a refund, and it is even less than what it originally sold for. During our conversation, I also discovered that the seller is using a Paypal account that is not in her name [image 4]. I am providing buyer with a tracking number for the returned product. As of April 22nd, Jaime claims to have re-sold the fursuit head base that is not even in her possession yet[images 5 & 6] (not until an expected April 25th). Jaime managed to advertise that it comes from a smoke-friendly home [image 7], HOWEVER, Jaime refuses to do so in other ads [image 8]. Overall, extremely unprofessional, rude, and does not seem to care about the safety of their customers. Original ad: My friend inquiring about it, and then forwarding it to me:

As of this writing, posted in May 2020, I regret to make such a post for an artist that, given his talent, is unfortunately an artist that has given due consideration to list my grievances towards. To start things off, I had paid for a commission to the amount of $520 through Paypal, for one of his themed stream commission pieces. Below is a screenshot indicating the purchase that I made to that effect: Having worked with Bad Coyote, and Lobosan who acts on behalf of Bad Coyote in commission related conversation, I admit that I had some past difficulty with one other commission. However, I was willing to be lenient in spite of this, and figured that given a reasonable time frame, with updates about where I stand, it would be no problem ordering a commission for the amount that I paid (the amount paid, by the way, included a tip on top of what was asked initially). Here is a snap shot taken from Discord initially about where I stood for the piece. Here, this screenshot conveys that: I had paid for the commission (with tip included) Bad Coyote (aka BC) has indicated that the "bulk of this would be done either October / November" Details affirming the commission and an understanding of what I had ordered. Fast forward to December 2018 (at this point, 3 months later, 1 month behind estimated delivery date) At one point, I wanted to follow up with Bad Coyote and Lobosan to ask about the commission, so I had messaged Lobosan to ask about my commission In summary of the conversation made here in the following screenshots: Bad Coyote was not feeling well and was unable to give an update on the commission If I needed to discuss a refund, then I would be welcome to ask outright (this will come into play later) I tried to clarify I just wanted to get an understanding of where I am at Given the stressful circumstances, I was willing to extend the time I had to wait Sometime after the conversation, Lobosan and I had messaged to see if we could set up a time to where BC would stream and work on the commission A few days later, I had messaged Bad Coyote to see if I could get an update on the commission which I had ordered At this point, I was in line to discuss with Bad Coyote about setting up a session through a streaming platform where I could see the commission being worked on: A few days later I had received a message from BC regarding the session: I had no other record from either Bad Coyote or Lobosan from this stretch of time, on any of my devices or chat logs regarding the status of my commission that I have ordered. At this point, many months later after what I had thought I had made an effort to communicate my stance and hopes of getting updates on the commission I had ordered, I was at a bit of a lost as to whether I would get any kind of news, or even suggestion that my commission would be started on. Fast forward to May 2020 (at this point, 18 months later, grossly behind estimated delivery date) I finally receive an update, and at this point was in low spirits to a point that I frankly didn't care any more about the commission This is where things went south fast as I had tried to express my wish to receive a refund on the commission: At this point, being human and having my patience tested, I had responded in a manner of indignation to have to put up with this: It is a lot to digest from the conversation, but I would like to offer as much context to this difficult conversation that I went through: I have been a commissioner for a few years at this point having ordered around 10 pieces or so. I had thought I had established a good artist / commissioner relationship at this point My previous efforts to communicate on my commission piece had earned me the criticism from Lobosan to be called a "thankless customer" with a "poor attitude" My efforts to try and discuss a refund having waited for so long, was no longer open to discussion (even though Lobosan had offered to give a refund at an earlier point) Naturally I had conversed to Bad Coyote directly and addressed my disappointment in all of what has happened in the span of conversations I had over the weekend (as of writing this May 4 2020) This is ultimately what I was left with on a parting note from Bad Coyote: After 18 months of nothing to go on for the commission that I paid $520, there was nothing to give an update as he seemed to have not started on it I apparently have received the same amount of communication to the other commissioners he had (which I cannot imagine how nightmarish this scenario has been for the other commissioners) Trying to address a problem to both Bad Coyote, and Lobosan, about the commission I ordered and waited for several months ago, has come to a point where having to ask for a refund has warranted me is "thankless" by the artist himself Whether or not I will receive the commission that I have ordered, remains to be seen. I have no expectations on it being delivered to me, or that it will be worth the wait that I put up with trying to communicate to both Bad Coyote and Lobosan over the commission piece. In all, I fail to understand how in the process of all that I had to put up with from Bad Coyote and Lobosan how any of this could be considered a "satisfactory mutual conclusion" having been barred from further association when I tried to address a SEVERE PROBLEM in their business model and interaction with their client(s). I can NO LONGER endorse Bad Coyote as an artist that is worth anyone's time to order any commissions from. They have demonstrated poor communication with their commissioners and will attack / discredit legitimate concerns that are brought up against them.

When Mothux posted in May of 2020 that they were opening for a few pin-up slots; I had a steady, disposable income; and their art style looked slick- -I jumped right in and ordered a pinup from them. After this I paid the invoice they sent me and began to wait. I added them on discord 9 days later, and we both said hello. I played in some small talk to get conversation going because they hadn't responded to my question about additional info in almost a week, and I got a response then. After that, it was crickets. By this point I had become exasperated with a lack of communication and any WIP of any sort. I just wanted to close this chapter and move on because I thought they had disappeared from the face of the earth and had given no explanation whatsoever. Twenty days after my last note they posted an update on their FA. They also started streaming their art regularly since this update, so they were still kicking and clearly doing work. The important bit to me was that they had a friend helping them respond to emails and provided an email to reach out to in order to remind them that they have open commissions. I decided to exercise the email they gave and sent them one. By this point I was almost beyond hoping that I was going to see any response, and I thought maybe a sterner approach would garner a response. Unfortunately this was not the case, and a week later I sent them a follow-up email asking for a refund due to a failure to deliver, with much more formality. I was also pretty tired of getting ghosted while they were actively streaming. I have sent multiple notes on FA and Discord to get their attention with no real response. For a $245 commission, I expected a little more responsiveness. However, after checking their shouts at the behest of my friend — who are also having issues getting in contact — I lost hope that I would get my drawing. I have ordered a refund through Paypal due to not delivering goods as of August 15th. As unfortunate as it is, my money will have to find another pocket to call home.

I ordered 4 commissions from Artararam before where the commissions were drawn semi professionally without any major problems and everything that I complained in pre-release versions were fixed in the final version of the art pieces. Everything quite normal for a NFSW artist like her. Artararam was never the fastest artist when it comes to draw commissions, the progress was slow, but steady. I usually give artists a period of 1 month before I contact them and ask for updates as this is a reasonable period where a change could be done with the artwork without putting too much stress on the artists. I commissioned Artararam with 2 NSFW art commissions: July, 28th 2019, 1 character (for 40 USD), payment sent July, 29th 2019 to her PayPal address August, 14th 2019, 2 characters (for 90 USD), payment sent the same day to her PayPal address Total: 130 USD I received 2 WIP snapshots of the 1st commission from Artararam as requested at September, 27th and September, 28th. The lineart of commission 1 is done, with a few adjustments and a sketch from me showing what looks wrong because the Artararam is not very good in English. I send her a note at FA at November, 1st 2019 asking if she was able to continue to draw my commissions and I noticed that my note at FA was unread for a long time. Artararam posted a journal at her FA account a few days later (November, 6th 2019). My faith in this artist is a little bit lost. I waited 3 months and contacted them at their Telegram account at January, 19th and January, 20th 2020 and got a very generic answer that "I'll send you all the process I have today or tomorrow morning!". Nothing happened after this date, she didn't answered over Telegram for nearly 3 months from now. I would accept the following solutions: Fully completed, delivered artwork for both commissions Partial or full refund for commission 1 and full refund for commission 2 PS: I struggled a lot before I decided to post here, after I've spoken with other guys that commissioned her. I think her journal sounds reasonable. I'm aware that she is treated by the law of Russia as a homosexual artist, I understand why she escaped from Russia to Ukraine. I can't understand why she wasn't able to get the Ukrainian citizenship before she left Russia and why she doesn't stopped to accept commissions and finish the accepted commissions first. I don't want to destroy her NSFW artist career, but she shows a very unprofessional behavior that I can't really tolerate. ~Ashnu Attachments: Proof commission 1: Proof commission 2: Notes from Artararam for commission 1: FA Journal: Telegram conversation:

I was looking around for a new fursuit bodysuit to order, since I was heavily dissatisfied with my current fursuit quality. A friend of mine recommended that I went to Sugar 'n Spice, since CorpseCat (the maker) was hosting a tax return sale, and was offering a bodysuit (only) for $950. I sent her a message, and this is how it started off. I sent her a full down-payment, the DTD, and even the fur colors that match the rest of my fursuit, all the next day. I sent her a reference, as well as a very length description. She said that she totally understood, so I assumed that this was going to be a good commission. I asked when the bodysuit was going to be done, and she said that it was going to be done around MFF of 2019 or sooner. She promised that progress photos were going to be included. I asked for my fur samples back that I sent her (so that I could send them off to another maker that was going to make my new fursuit head). I gave her my address but she never sent them back. On 8/31/2019, she said that she was almost done with the bodysuit. She never sent a single progress photo. She is also claiming that the fur colors are not exact to the ones that I sent her, but they are incredibly close... Lots of nudging later, still nothing. She claimed that her boyfriend has been in the hospital, and sent a picture (cropped out the picture for privacy). She has made plenty, plenty, plenty of excuses in the past about her health in the past (you can find them in almost any beware about her). 1-2 months before the deadline, and I asked her yet again if the bodysuit was on-track to being completed on-time. Her responses are predictable: Lots and lots and lots of asking to try and get ANY kind of photos from her. She brings up another health excuse with herself (which, as fake as it seems, I'm still censoring it for privacy reasons). At the bottom of the next screenshot is when the bodysuit is supposed to be done. No photos were sent. She brought up that the bodysuit wasn't going to work with my current fursuit paws and feet. She offered to make me free paws and feet, at the expense of delaying the TAT more. I asked later how long that it would be delayed, and she said that it could take another month. I was fine with that, but I asked for progress photos again while I had her attention. Guess what? Another medical excuse. I eventually lost it at this point. About a month later, I still received ZERO photos and ZERO updates about the suit being made. I looked at her WIP Telegram channel, and I didn't see any photos of my suit being in there. I called her out in this next screenshot, and this is when I began to lose it. She said that she was going to send photos, but once again, nothing. At the bottom, when I said that I was going to start taking action, that's when I decided to write a script for the YouTube video (at the top of the post) that was going to call her out and her poor business practices: I asked for her response one last time before making a video about her. She said that it's prepared to get shipped out, but has NEVER sent me a single progress photo: She finally sends photos on February 11th. She admitted that she ignored my reference in order to make the hip markings look more visible. I corrected her, and she said that she was going to fix it. I resent her the reference to show her how the hip markings are supposed to look: They are three fingernail-looking markings that are on each side of the waist. She made the markings go completely around the back. I asked how long that it was going to take to get the markings fixed. She said Friday (so three days at the time) until they were going to be fixed. I asked her for photos before she sends them out, and she said that she was going to send them when she gets to her office. Nothing happened. I asked again, she brings up another fake health excuse. She later sent me an image of the hip markings without any changes, and she said that she was confused about what was wrong about it. She waited over a month before telling me this, even though she said that she knew what she had to do, and that she was going to take three days to fix it: In this next screenshot, this was the time where I finally uploaded the video that I warned her about. I was going to give her a last chance before posting it. This is the last time that I've heard from her. I'm assuming it's because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but either way, her Telegram said that she hasn't been online within a week. She promised that she was going to send it out, and I never gave her my address until I saw the final product: This is the last that I have heard from her. I got into contact with PayPal, and they said that it's been past 180 days, and they cannot do anything about this situation. I paid CorpseCat through a bank account that I closed in the past. I got in-contact with this bank yesterday (4/21/2020), and they said that they can't do anything about the transaction because my account has been closed for so long. I am $950 poorer with nothing to show for it. I attempted contact with her multiple times, and nothing has been happening since then. When I created this thread, it showed that she was seen last within a week. Since I updated these new screenshots, it now shows that she's been seen recently. Meaning that she has been online but hasn't read my messages. I warn/advise everyone to stay away from this maker. There are four bewares about her on the first page of Google when you type "sugar n spice fursuits". This fursuit maker is unbelievably toxic, and I do not want anyone to order from her, either. It was partially my fault for not doing my research before ordering from her, so therefore, I want to make sure that nobody else does the same. DO NOT ORDER FROM SUGAR 'N SPICE!

-- This is my first post here and I really don't want to be writing this. So sorry if some details are fuzzy or if this post is messy. Paypal are attached. $80 to start, added $20 more later. So in 2018 I was looking for Telegram stickers to be done in-stream. I posted over on Facebook to find Almighty. They responded -- Which I instantly sent details over FA. -- They didn't work very long on my commission, only maybe, 30 minutes. Which was fine! I didn't have a problem with that at all. I think I contact them a day later about my commission -- -- But as you can see, they didn't really update me here at all. -- -- So opted for Discord! At this point I was getting really on edge, they post a lot on Facebook. Even about commissions. And I saw progress once on stream. Here are shots of all my conversation with her on Discord. I left out some of the bottom half for my privacy. She claims she had no internet despite being very active on Facebook. I dunno, it seems weird to me. (I could be wrong.) And here's the last message I've sent her. No response.

- Dec 5th: I was approached by Lenny about a secondlife texture commission, All went well and the commission was accepted, parts were discussed and I sent off an invoice. - Dec 6th: Invoice was paid. I also provided an estimated deadline of Dec 15th - Dec 13th: I found parts that I thought would suit the character better and provided links for the commissioner to view in order to make a decision, The commissioner decided on the new part I suggested and I started work on it swiftly afterwards. Lenny started to make me uncomfortable asking about me texturing NSFW parts that my TOS states I do not work on. This can be seen within the full SL convo screenshot. During this time Lenny also stated he was going to “RIP” some textures from an object, On secondlife this term is used when a user illegally steals a texture using a third party program, I do NOT condone this in any way shape or form, This made me very uncomfortable as I was now left wondering if I could trust Lenny not to RIP and resell my own work once completed.Shortly after we hit some bumps in terms of things not being correct on the textures, I swiftly made fixes to his request however he started to ask for changes that were not shown on his reference sheet so it became hard for me to follow as I wasn’t made aware of this during the commission order. I suggested in the future Lenny should perhaps consider getting an updated reference sheet or create one with one of the MANY free art bases in the Furry community. Sometime later Lenny asked me if my textures would be fullperm, This isn’t something usually provided with Secondlife texture commissions and this made me rather uncomfortable due to him previously talking about having to "rip" a texture. In light of all the prior issues and the uncomfortable feelings in the air I decided that it would simply be for the best for me to provide a full refund immediately. Lenny responded with aggression stating I had refused their commission because of their own personal IRL issues, this wasn’t the case at all. I simply refunded due to being VERY uncomfortable working with Lenny. I later found out that the texture he was going to “rip” came as free to use. Regarldess it was still an NSFW body part that I had expressed I do not work with. My choice to refund was still solid and I did not wish to continue working with Lenny any longer, Lenny continued to push for me to work on his commission and to cancel the refund this lead to me having to repeatedly express that I would not work on this commission any longer, Eventually he gave up. - Dec 20th: Lenny apologized, I accepted this apology. Lenny expressed that the refund was still pending which was due to the way paypal refunds as the funds came out of my account minutes after I provided the refund, I sent Lenny links to Paypal’s FAQ so he understood why it was still pending. We then began talking about him re-commissioning me for his SL textures which I accepted as it was coming up to Christmas and I didn’t want there to be any bad blood and I assumed the prior happenings were just a one time thing and wouldn’t happen again. We decided to use a Free to use base in order to map out their markings better in order for a swifter completion of the second life mod, This ref wasn’t anything spectacular it was simply made for me to be able to visualize exactly where and what shape the markings needed to be, Eventually Lenny decided on one of the marking layouts I had created and I went ahead with sending out a second invoice. Lenny proceeded to make some really awkward joke about just getting out of jail and being -2912 in his bank? Which was very odd but I just laughed it off as he stated it was a joke and he paid the invoice shortly after. I sent out some wips of the body and immediately hit some bumps, He expressed things needed to be fixed, I swiftly worked on those and provided more wips, which again Lenny expressed they were wrong and I fixed them. At this point I was growing frustrated as we had JUST made a make shift reference for me to follow that Lenny himself had approved before I started working. Regardless of the issues I continued working on the second life mod and making constant fixes, I just wanted to complete the commission to the best of my ability in order to move on from this experience. I finished the secondlife mod on the 20th, The same day that Lenny had commissioned me, He said that everything looked good, I sent over his SL mod and he seemed pleased with his purchase. Shortly after he asked for some color codes which I provided. An hour later Lenny messaged me again, Asking for a screenshot of my Fullperm texture, Something that I had already expressed that I do NOT provide. His reasoning is he wanted someone else to work on something and they needed it, I declined and stated they’d simply need his color code in order for those parts to match. - Dec 23rd&25th: Lenny asked about textures for three different parts, Nothing came of this and no commissions were taken in the result of these questions. Conversation screencaps. Warning! The images are large. https://imgur.com/a/NTWBgRs - Jan 17th: Lenny messaged me again asking for fixes to his mod, I declined as I do not offer free edits after the commission has been confirmed for over 3 days, It had been nearly 4weeks since he had accepted his finished commission. Lenny replied with an emoji and then blocked me. I tired to reply to his emoji BUT I couldn’t as I had been blocked. - March 7th: Lenny contacted me on Secondlife asking for help with his neck and also asked about an additional commission. I expressed that I would be more than happy to help with his issues to the best of my ability however I was not interested in doing business with him beyond that. I was met with an extremely unexpected outburst of rage, regardless of how I had just been treated I kept a cool, professional front and tried to reply however I had been blocked again. I checked FA some time after to see I had a note from Lenny, This note can be seen below. Shortly after I noticed he had posted a journal that I can only assume is about me.

I got in contact with the artist in question in mid-October. I had commissioned them once before, years ago, and was very happy with the finished product. A commission was agreed upon. An initial sketch was received via email on 27 December, 2019, and payment was sent via Western Union, along with an agreement for some additional material. After payment was made, the last contact I received from the artist was on the 28th of December. All further attempts to respond have gone unanswered.

My experience with this artist has been terrible. Correspondence is non-existent, and she seems to take forever on all of her commissions. I ordered an emergency commission back in November of 2019. Since it was an emergency comm, I was under the impression that it would have a relatively quick turnaround time. Six months later, and I haven't even received so much as a sketch from her. Her commission queue is ludicrously huge - I only found it after some digging. I never would have commissioned her if I saw how much outstanding work she has. She even has a queue for refunds. Refunds. The last update to her queue was made in February of 2020 - three months ago. I sent her a Twitter DM a month after paying for the commission. No response. Two weeks later, I sent another. No response. Fed up, I sent an email requesting a refund nine days afterwards. Only then did I get a response on Twitter. She stated she was halfway through the sketching process, and offered to have it completed in a couple of days, even upgrading the type of commission from a coloured sketch to a cell shaded piece. I felt satisfied with what I was offered, and accepted. January of this year. I send another DM asking about the progress of the sketch. Again, I received no response. I had been periodically checking her Trello for activity, and it was incredibly slow. I have waited, and waited, and waited, and received nothing. Not a word, not a WIP. Nothing. I sent an email requesting a refund again today, and stated that I will never be doing business with her again. I will also be warning my friends about her, as well as leaving this Beware. Her conduct is completely unprofessional - and, despite her gigantic queue, she still constantly bumps her commission posts and takes on more, only adding to the enormous pile. Please, do yourselves a favour and do not buy from her.

User FA ordered a commission, contacted me in a Discord, agreed with the price, after which the order was completed, but since there was a payment condition after the order was completed, he added me to the blacklist and disappeared.

Mod edit: For anyone confused, the OP sold a character to the Bewaree/ Puppy. Instead of sending payment to the OP, Puppy sent it to Jury as payment for a character OP wished to purchase from Jury. 2 people in this have gotten scammed. me and jury. but this is mainly focused on what happened with me and alot happened through dms with this other user Around when this happened, when the users toyhou.se was still active, they wanted to purchase a character from me. The character that is currently in their possession, is 🎮weasel🎮 (You are unable to see them now because of them being owned/stored in an account that is closed) After they claimed to have sent the money to jury(which was also a payment for a character i bought, https://toyhou.se/5828069.-darren- ), I of course transferred to character, unaware that this person has also scammed a few other people(searching for said people). Around May 12th of this year, I got a message from jury saying how that same user has filed a dispute against them, making it so the transaction was redacted. Since this happened they did not pay for the character between the time periods of [12 May 2020, 3:05:07 pm] & [29 May 2020, 7:20:51 am] there has been no reply/activity in regards to the Puppyboy user. But shortly after the character was transferred, the user's account was closed. (Approximately within that same week they were transferred assumingly?) But the account was closed rather early after the transfer was sent. Within that time. Listed above, I thought the situation was resolved, & the money had been paid back..... but then again what's the reason for closing your account if possibly resolved? Puppyboy claimed that two people or possibly more have claimed they filed a chargeback. That was honestly odd, because if multiple people have claimed you filed a chargeback then it's likely you filed said chargeback and scammed something. In the end the money got sent back to them, and they are now in possession of a scammed character any money used to pay off something. So then it would also make that character seem scammed, and not in my possession. Just in case, here are examples of some of their art along with their up 2 date socials at the top - example | example | example | example | example

(this article includes screencaps featuring conversation involving a musical artist and collaborative partner, Caero, who granted me permission to include screenshots featuring his dialogue: proof 1 proof 2) -- In march, I hosted an auction in collaboration with a musician where the winner would receive a custom theme song for their character and I would make an illustration of the character using the music as my inspiration. The winning bid was 960 usd (to be split 480 for each of us.) The musician sent an invoice and on July 3rd 2019 the invoice was fully paid. The musician delivered my half of the payment without incident. The musician proceeded to experience some life turbulence and his correspondence with both me and the client suffered as a result. Trixx requested an update on how things were going with him and he responded. Feeling a little antsy as some more time passed after this, I contacted the musician and offered the idea to draw the illustration first. He assured me that he would have something to show soon. I unfortunately do not have screencaps for this part but he was true to his word and submitted a musical sketch, which Trixx approved. I then produced an illustration sketch based on what he provided. She approved the sketch, and requested a background that was a “kingdom, city devastation through the battlefield.” Following this, the musician fell out of contact again, and once again, Trixx inquired for an update, and received no response after two days. At which point, I apologized for her inability to get in contact with the musician and told her that I would reach out to him. Here’s the conversation I had with the musician. Following this conversation, I followed up with Trixx, letting her know that I understood the musician had spoken to her, adding that I would hop on ahead and complete her illustration within the week, providing updates each day until the work was complete. The following is what transpired: This is the link to the previously completed collaborative auction linked to in the screencaps above: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27946332/ This is the link to Trixx’s completed illustration: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jd7o726jjdq7yi4/trixx.png?dl=0 (Version without the radial blur: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qdtk31qyfksez9u/trixx_2.png?dl=0 The conversation continued down this trajectory, eventually leading to a very confusing moment where Trixx began linking me to examples of work that were not provided as examples in the auction description, eventually going as far as to accuse me of editing the auction details (effectively gaslighting her). She dropped that particular topic as soon as she realized that she had been looking at the details and pulling up examples provided in the description of an entirely different auction than the one she had bid on. Eventually, I had considered completely redoing the background and most of the character for an additional charge (which she had warned me not to make too steep, on the premise that she has already paid for the illustration). I offered to redo things on the condition of her trust that I was putting forth my best effort for her. She voiced her lack of confidence, and I quickly determined that the safest course of action was to encourage her to take a partial refund. I had her invoice me for the partial refund, and promptly paid that invoice I left the group conversation, and she sent me one last personal DM Not wanting to continue the conversation with respect to my own time and emotional resources, I blocked her on discord following that last message I sent. The musician told me that he was going to issue her a full $480 refund. I sincerely believe that Trixx is not a wholly unreasonable person, and that the responses from her as seen in these screencaps were shaped largely by the wait time and lapses in correspondence. I tried my best to juggle the issues surrounding the musician and the needs of the client, but in the end, the variables failed to line up in a manner that was conducive to good business and a happy customer. This is my very first experience with both a situation and a client like this and it has been a great teacher. However her conduct, her assertive devaluing of my work, dismissal of my numerous attempts to problem solve with her under the assertion that I’m trying to rip her off, the moving goalposts, and her aggressive attempts to pursue the matter even after a refund had been issued for completed work has been disrespectful beyond what was called for.

I commissioned copycatz back in October of 2016, they approached me with interest in drawing art of one of my characters, they were enthusiastic to do so. I saved up money for a few months so I could commission them at the time and paid for a full colour, shaded commission at the time. I know some artists can take time so I did not contact them too terribly much afterwards. By the point I started to become suspicious/worried it was too late for a charge back from Paypal. I figured they'd deliver eventually, probably had a queue. I contacted them some months later an inquired how it was going as the last time I had talked to them they stated they had a WIP and would upload it soon. I cannot discuss what they said but they had medical complications (supposedly) and were unable to work for a period of time. I backed off for a few months before contacting again. Shortly after that contact a year after commissioning them they were banned from Furaffinity. I figured at that time my commission was lost in the ether until other commissioners posted about how to get in contact with the artist and how they owed them work. They were available on DeviantArt and Twitter so I contacted them on DeviantArt. What followed was a run around of saying they didn't remember me ever commissioning them, then me providing the screen caps edited below of paying them then being ran around saying they had a WIP. This continued for some months while they were posting more artwork they were creating. Again this continued on for several months until I essentially threw my hands up in the air. I had no real recourse to retrieve the amount owed by this point and it was apparent they were not going to produce the work. Their ban on FA has ended and they are allowed to post on the account again so I decided to make a public airing of this dirty laundry to show what I went through in hopes they do not take anyone else's money. At this point all I'd want is a refund plus interest for the money they received from me with no delivered work. Take away: Copycatz will approach people first seeming enthusiastic on commissioning them. They will then try to get the person to commission them. They will not communicate at all with the commissioner. The commissioner has to engage in all contact. They will bring forward excuses as to why they cannot work on it now, claiming personal or medical reasons. They will promise WIPs and progress but never deliver. There is no other way to put it but this person is a thief. They take money and do not produce work.

My fiance commissioned a shop on Etsy to draw some outfits for her character. She gave the artist a reference sheet of her character that I drew for her earlier this year. The shop traced the artwork and made two edits (The face was edited to look different, and one hand pose was changed very slightly) and if you lay the image over my artwork you can see that the lines match 90% I tried to censor the posts as much as possible and I apologize if there's any 'lewdness' to them, as you can see parts of the character's genital anatomy despite my best efforts to censor it while maintaining the integrity of the images (to best show how closely they matched the lines, down to nearly exact shapes and curves) I confronted the artist and they denied that the artwork was traced. They offered to redraw the commission for my partner but our big fear is that they may be tracing other artists as well. For the record the commission in question was incredibly cheap, under $15. The issue really isn't the money, for me, it's the theft of intellectual property for financial gain. Etsy removed the listing but has not removed the shop from their website.

I paid $105 for art back in january of 18 of this year using venmo. I will not attach the photo of that here unless required to due to some privacy issues that can happen but I will gladly share my text history with him on discord, the shout that was deleted on his profile, the note I left for him on FA and the proof that he blocked me. He refuses to message me back let alone give me my money back or the art I paid for. I am just hoping he gives me my money back and i will never talk with or about him again or I can find where he lives and bring his ass to court over this.

Lauras collab partner was TheScarletArtist ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thescarletartist ) also mentioned as Martina or Martina Da Bologna in those Telegram chat logs. The commissioners were me ( Akio / https://www.furaffinity.net/user/akiomai/ ) and Etskuni ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/etskuni ). I was the one paying for it full. Etskuni didnt have to pay. It was a gift from me for her. It all started with this collab auction: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27653060/ I was happy to be able get art from those two and I didnt think anything could go wrong. I got art from Scarlet several times and she delivered fast as usual. First it was all fine with Laura. Some stuff happening. No problem at all. Communication was good at this point. So far stuff happening again is fine: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9037614/ But we expected to hear something sooner or later. So 3 months went by and I contacted Laura via email. After that I talked with Etskuni and Scarlet what to do. So this was cleared and we waited. Meanwhile more stuff happening: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9253557/ And time flew by and nothing happened. So, I didnt expect her to offer a refund and I would have been fine knowing there wont be one. This would have finally put an end to this story..... but she said she would... So I waited and meanwhile in december she did another journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9350647/ In march nothing happened. No email from her nor money so I ended up writing her an email at end of march. Now 1 month later still no answer. I know the current situation with corona and she is probably struggling with life. I just wish she would have been more honest. Whether she still refunds me is up to her. I see this as the end of the story.

Artist On a public Discord, did not hold up their end of the deal, and choose to try and run away with the money without doing the correct work or even hold up their end of the deal. The First part about the commission remaining private is also a lie on their end. As it is posted on their FA https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36446919/ Also an imgur link in case they try and hide the proof. https://imgur.com/HHNJI1F Edit: 05.21.20 The artist has put my private email up on their website.

I had purchased an egg adopt for $45 USD in October of 2019. In the following weeks I gave the artist details I wanted for the body and character as they stated an AB would grant this, a full ref, a chibi version, and a half body. I had over half a year of nothing from them and came back with a question on progress to find out I had been blocked by them on FA and that nearly everything from the account had been removed. This includes the egg adopt I had paid for, which I sadly do not have an image for. There has not been a single item as a result of my payment to them, no sketch or verification from them. Below I have posted 5 images of their trello, a conversation in the beginning the paypal transaction, the blocking notice, and an image of the messages I left with details to them. ( opted to not capture as they are in regards to the adopt and the details I had specified I would like to keep private for a future idea of mine )
