  1. They are factually incorrect. They are producing derivative work off of another artist's work. It being a Telegram sticker doesn't make the item's copyright void and open for public use. Gross.
  2. Alright y'all! We think Chesta understands how to communicate better. From here on out comments continuing to bring it up may remain hidden unless there's a major update.
  3. Howdy! We approved the two comments but hid the others for proxy. ? let's keep it focused on the OP here!
  4. Positive reviews for Cheetah-GT!
  5. While I haven't seen the update: overly personal information as you've posted to this client is obscenely unprofessional as it guilt trips clients into not trying to follow up what they are rightfully owed. This is a business client transaction. You can convey delays without guilting people with the nitty gritty details of current events. Edit: okay yea I read a bit and stopped reading. There is absolutely no reason to share that kind of information to your clients. And quite frankly your child deserves their dignity respected and not aired out to a bunch of strangers. Please note that if you attempt to bring that here it simply won't be approved for being inappropriate.
  6. This is something that can be added, but would have to be manually added to posts already on the site. Given that we are already a strained volunteer group is no guarantee that we can get to old posts and do them in a timely manner or at all.
  7. I wouldn't work with any of these people. I have an accountant and pay state taxes to the comptroller's office. No one ever has required the personal information of my clients. I submit a total for the quarter and it's done. Furthermore storage of client PII outside of Paypal requires them to legally have a privacy disclosure. AB has one because we store email addresses. I also do commercial items and have a relationship with a fellow Texas operated shop. Now that I did need some contact information so I could fill out copyright transfer paperwork for them.
  8. I definitely agree with this stance. If someone came at me in this manner my response would likely be to kiss my entire ass, and they would get a block. People can't be "On" always.
  9. Thank you, but it's meant to be. We've allowed it.
  10. Positive reviews for aviivix!
  11. Commissioned Bubbles at BLFC 2018 for a Colored Badge. I paid at the convention in cash. They emailed back very quickly to confirm the commission and get references. (They CC'ed everyone who had gotten a commission at the con). Their Trello was updated with a sketch of the badge. I didn't hear back from them though, and in November I sent a follow up message. They replied the badge was completed and being shipped out. Their Trello still only shows the sketch and I have no proof of its completion. I also did not get any tracking number or shipment details. I gave my address at the convention, but just to be sure, In December I sent my address once more. In January I sent a follow up. I also messaged them on Telegram - it is still not read. Finally in January I CC'ed everyone asking if they had heard from the artist. The artist also replied. I replied I'm happy to wait. Then in February I asked for an update. And then finally in February I asked for a refund. At this point it is not looking like I'll get either the commission or the Refund. This artist is not communicative, lied about the status of the badge and the shipping, missed multiple deadlines, and in all failed to deliver.
  12. Positive reviews for Nut-Case.
  13. As the seller you are responsible for ensuring the item gets there or the client is made whole. If the art itself is delivered, and the client agrees to the refund of shipping then that's fine. If it's something like you're an etsy seller, then you're to replace their items or refund the whole order. With traditional artists and fursuit makers they either need to refund or remake. This is why insurance is extremely important.
  14. Hiya this is more for us as users can't determine what is relevant to the community. As for your post you're welcome to submit a beware on this person. If you are going to include a quality difference be sure to show proof of what you were offered via their advertisement vs what you got.
  15. The great thing about moving off of Livejournal and to our own website is that we can disable user edits and user deletions entirely. Chesta, since you may be reading this: I'm sorry to tell you but users don't have that ability. When you've completed the work, we will mark it as resolved. The only person who has had control in this situation is you, and so far you've driven your client to have to speak publicly to get any kind of recourse. That's not their fault, but yours.
  16. Unfortunately I don't think we're going to get a consensus on the front page. Users seem to be split on which way they like it. For the sake of it being the front page, we're going to leave it as "most recent".
  17. Positive Reviews for Kitsuko.

  19. Once I get con prep for Aggiecon completed, then I'll get back to archiving.  ❤️

      Kei

Good luck with the con prep and TY for all the work on archiving so far!

  20. This is so frustrating to read, OP. I hope you get your money back. =\
  21. Do not drop that dispute. If you close it, then you can't do it again. Disputes can last up to 20 days before they automatically close in the seller's favor. Give it a few days and if nothing arrives escalate to a claim. From there they'll have to give PayPal a tracking number or you win. If they want to claim it was lost then that's their problem. The onus is on sellers to buy insurance and to ensure the client gets their package. At no point are clients responsible for lost packages.
