I was looking around for a new fursuit bodysuit to order, since I was heavily dissatisfied with my current fursuit quality. A friend of mine recommended that I went to Sugar 'n Spice, since CorpseCat (the maker) was hosting a tax return sale, and was offering a bodysuit (only) for $950. I sent her a message, and this is how it started off. I sent her a full down-payment, the DTD, and even the fur colors that match the rest of my fursuit, all the next day. I sent her a reference, as well as a very length description. She said that she totally understood, so I assumed that this was going to be a good commission. I asked when the bodysuit was going to be done, and she said that it was going to be done around MFF of 2019 or sooner. She promised that progress photos were going to be included. I asked for my fur samples back that I sent her (so that I could send them off to another maker that was going to make my new fursuit head). I gave her my address but she never sent them back. On 8/31/2019, she said that she was almost done with the bodysuit. She never sent a single progress photo. She is also claiming that the fur colors are not exact to the ones that I sent her, but they are incredibly close... Lots of nudging later, still nothing. She claimed that her boyfriend has been in the hospital, and sent a picture (cropped out the picture for privacy). She has made plenty, plenty, plenty of excuses in the past about her health in the past (you can find them in almost any beware about her). 1-2 months before the deadline, and I asked her yet again if the bodysuit was on-track to being completed on-time. Her responses are predictable: Lots and lots and lots of asking to try and get ANY kind of photos from her. She brings up another health excuse with herself (which, as fake as it seems, I'm still censoring it for privacy reasons). At the bottom of the next screenshot is when the bodysuit is supposed to be done. No photos were sent. She brought up that the bodysuit wasn't going to work with my current fursuit paws and feet. She offered to make me free paws and feet, at the expense of delaying the TAT more. I asked later how long that it would be delayed, and she said that it could take another month. I was fine with that, but I asked for progress photos again while I had her attention. Guess what? Another medical excuse. I eventually lost it at this point. About a month later, I still received ZERO photos and ZERO updates about the suit being made. I looked at her WIP Telegram channel, and I didn't see any photos of my suit being in there. I called her out in this next screenshot, and this is when I began to lose it. She said that she was going to send photos, but once again, nothing. At the bottom, when I said that I was going to start taking action, that's when I decided to write a script for the YouTube video (at the top of the post) that was going to call her out and her poor business practices: I asked for her response one last time before making a video about her. She said that it's prepared to get shipped out, but has NEVER sent me a single progress photo: She finally sends photos on February 11th. She admitted that she ignored my reference in order to make the hip markings look more visible. I corrected her, and she said that she was going to fix it. I resent her the reference to show her how the hip markings are supposed to look: They are three fingernail-looking markings that are on each side of the waist. She made the markings go completely around the back. I asked how long that it was going to take to get the markings fixed. She said Friday (so three days at the time) until they were going to be fixed. I asked her for photos before she sends them out, and she said that she was going to send them when she gets to her office. Nothing happened. I asked again, she brings up another fake health excuse. She later sent me an image of the hip markings without any changes, and she said that she was confused about what was wrong about it. She waited over a month before telling me this, even though she said that she knew what she had to do, and that she was going to take three days to fix it: In this next screenshot, this was the time where I finally uploaded the video that I warned her about. I was going to give her a last chance before posting it. This is the last time that I've heard from her. I'm assuming it's because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but either way, her Telegram said that she hasn't been online within a week. She promised that she was going to send it out, and I never gave her my address until I saw the final product: This is the last that I have heard from her. I got into contact with PayPal, and they said that it's been past 180 days, and they cannot do anything about this situation. I paid CorpseCat through a bank account that I closed in the past. I got in-contact with this bank yesterday (4/21/2020), and they said that they can't do anything about the transaction because my account has been closed for so long. I am $950 poorer with nothing to show for it. I attempted contact with her multiple times, and nothing has been happening since then. When I created this thread, it showed that she was seen last within a week. Since I updated these new screenshots, it now shows that she's been seen recently. Meaning that she has been online but hasn't read my messages. I warn/advise everyone to stay away from this maker. There are four bewares about her on the first page of Google when you type "sugar n spice fursuits". This fursuit maker is unbelievably toxic, and I do not want anyone to order from her, either. It was partially my fault for not doing my research before ordering from her, so therefore, I want to make sure that nobody else does the same. DO NOT ORDER FROM SUGAR 'N SPICE!

I commissioned iRoxyKun for a $40 chibi image on 7/20/2020, following a trade (iRoxyKun had offered art for a character on my Toyhouse, and had completed the trade quickly). After discussing the commission details and providing references, I paid iRoxyKun $40 that day. At this time, they stated that their current turnaround time was 2-4 weeks. (Image 1) On 8/19/2020, I noted iRoxyKun on Toyhouse, as I had not received any communications or updates since payment. They responded within two minutes, stating that they had not been feeling well, and had not begun work on my commission. On 9/4/2020, over five weeks from my purchase, I began to look at their other accounts to see if they were alright. I found that they had decided to discontinue doing any commission work and were going to finish their current queue. Seeing as my piece had not been started, I contacted them to offer opening a refund, as I thought this would relieve them of more work. A few hours later, iRoxyKun responded, refusing a refund due to a lack of funds. (Image 2) I gave iRoxyKun an ultimatum: deliver a response, plan, or sketch within two weeks, or I would begin the chargeback process with PayPal. Though iRoxyKun read my note on Toyhouse, they did not offer a response. Wanting to find information on what was going on, I went to their art Twitter. Here I found that on 8/9/2020, they were offering commissions for FFXIV items. On 8/20/2020. they opened for three $25 sketches. During the duration of 7/20/2020 to 9/11/2020, I had not received any work, or any indication that my piece would be finished. On 9/11/2020, I sent a final notice: if iRoxyKun did not communicate with me by the afternoon of 9/12/2020, I would issue a charge back. I had initially offered a two week deadline, but iRoxyKun had never responded to my asking for a plan of action or progress on the piece. The night of 9/11/2020, they issued my money back, along with the attached note. (Images 3 and 4). I have received the amount I paid back in full, however I would advise against working with this artist, due to a lack of professional communication, lack of respect for deadlines, and their actions in taking on more and more work on top of their current queue. (Please note that due to the newest-at-top message format of Toyhouse, these images read bottom to top, except for Image 4)

I have never written a Beware before. I didn’t even want to make this one, but this is completely unacceptable and future buyers should be aware. This is a small time fursuit maker by the name of Majeste. Back on June 23rd 2020, I purchased a custom set of puffy paws with claws after having talked details of the design and other pertinent information. I was quoted $190 and paid the full $190. Remember that price was QUOTED TO ME, because it will be relevant later on. Majeste, at first, I had no issues with. The paws were going to take a little while and that was fine, that had already been established up front. The design of the paws was reviewed and I picked out my fur and minky fabrics that would be used to make these paws. I was under the impression that the fabrics that I chose WITH Majeste’s help would be the exact furs ordered and used on my paws. I don’t get any updates for a couple weeks, which again, is fine, I was aware of the time frame for paws turnaround. However, the issue comes in when Majeste sends me a WIP photo. I could see the backing of the pink minky looked strange, textured, but I don’t sew, I don’t work with materials, so I didn’t know. I wasn’t concerned at this point. I had no reason to believe the fabric was not the fabric I chose. The next photo I received was of one finished paw. This is where the major issue comes into play: the minky on the paws was NOT the minky I had chosen/agreed upon when the order for the paws was placed. I had been given no prior indication of this change. At first, I sort of glossed over it. It was devastated, but I didn’t want to become a nightmare customer or cause issues. I assumed Majeste would have a solution in mind. Majeste did not at all offer to fix the problem up front, she did not even address it until I did first. As if it was no issue. I still wanted my paws, but I was extremely unhappy. I paid for a service and product, and neither was delivered as promised/agreed upon. I paid $190 for paws the way they had been discussed, not with a change in minky. I will admit, I became more agitated and less willing to accept this work as the conversation went on. At this point, I did not want to prolong the wait time, and I did not want to be treated as an inconvenience. I suggested upgraded shipping as a fair means of coming to a resolution. Majeste would have to make no refund, no alterations - simply mail the paws with an upgraded shipping method. This is where she becomes extremely aggressive with me. She tries to have me pay MORE to even FIX the paws in the first place, otherwise they won’t be fixed. She tells ME that MY behavior is unacceptable and tells me I’m scamming her. Scamming her after I had already paid the $190 for my paws. Right. She continues, saying she already discounted my paws (I never asked for any discount, Majeste herself quoted me the price of $190 from the get go, as mentioned earlier) and if I want things to be “fair”, I’ll pay the difference of her “usual” paw price and she’ll fix them. Needless to say, I was extremely upset by this interaction. As a paying customer, I felt completely sidelined and overall unhappy with the finished result of my custom made product. Now, I’m going to have to have these fixed myself. In the end, Majeste did ship them and provide a tracking number to me. I do not have the paws in my hands as of writing this, but I would like to update based on the quality of the paws I do receive. There are LOTS of screenshots, as this is the entire conversation as it took place on Amino. Please. Proceed with extreme caution if you are considering working with Maj-Mania749. Attached are all the screenshots of every interaction I had with Majeste. I included everything, even the conversation bits, so there’s nothing lost and all context is there. Hopefully it’s all in order!

On the 8th of April this year I asked xBlueAshesx about a Lion King YCH. She then accepted, I gave her my PayPal info and paid. Unfortunately I don't have the acceptance PM anymore, but here's a screenshot of the PayPal payment as proof. On the 13th of July, it'd been almost 3 months and I hadn't received anything back from xBlueAshesx yet, not even a WIP picture. I suggested a refund if she hadn't started on the art piece yet. This PM was read, but never replied to. After 6 days with no acknowledgement, it was then that I decided to request a chargeback. xBlueAshesx finally replied and offered to finish the piece. I refused, feeling like it would be rushed. Her final PM said I would receive a refund and also how I should "read an artist's TOS in the future", which I actually did do before placing the commission. I would've been happy to wait 3 months, I've actually waited that long for commissions in the past, but like I said, I was expecting to see a WIP pic at this point at least. Sadly, nothing. I'm now blocked by her on Furaffinity and no longer able to contact her. She continues to take on new commissions.

Throwaway account + censoring because I'd like to protect my privacy. TL;DR at bottom. First commissioned around the end of January 2019. Was one of their standard commissions through their generic commission forms. Their TOS stated that they'd deliver inside of 90 days tops. They've since deleted their toyhou.se panel that has their standard commissions, so I don't have picture proof of the page. I do mention it in the emails, however. After that initial email trade, that was all I heard from them for around an entire half year. Here are another 3 emails I sent over the course of that, the first two of which got no response. I can understand the first one not needing a response, but they provided no updates whatsoever and did not reply after I tried to contact them about their 90-day guarantee. I will also mention this was their "business" email. In the meantime, they were posting all kinds of adoptables on their alternate accounts, more than multiple times per month. Here are some of the ones they posted from mid October to mid November, in the span of one month: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33962721/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33816433/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33688677/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33562958/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33486213/ These hardly scratch the surface, however. They frequently opened on other commission types and whatnot in the time I waited for my commission, including (but likely not limited to) Ko-fi headshot commissions, Ko-fi kobold doodle commissions, and an INSANE amount of adoptables. This also isn't including higher-quality commissions on their main account they posted within the first month of me commissioning them. For perspective, you can browse their gallery here (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/doodlies) and skim over the appalling amount of (mostly adoptables) content their is from the start of Feb. 2019 to the end of Nov. 2019. Keep in mind that the vast majority of these were NOT things they had queued up prior to me commissioning them. Most of these commissions they actively/voluntarily took up while I was waiting for mine. Their Twitter (https://twitter.com/MaimFace) was also frequently updated with their adoptables postings. Being normally patient with artists, I decided to stick it out until around December. After that point, I had waited almost an entire year (as well as watched a ton of their work come and go with my commission being largely ignored) and didn't trust that they would actually deliver in the quoted time frame, so I asked for a refund which they ironically delivered somewhat promptly. TL;DR: Extremely unresponsive emails despite being their "business" email, sometimes going months without replying. Despite a 90-day guarantee, they did not deliver in the span of an entire year, which ended up in a requested refund. Frequently posted numerous other types of commissions and seemed to largely disregard mine despite their own guarantees regarding timeliness.

This is a beware on Ariausiii on deviantArt. Ariausiii commissioned me for 5 backgrounds, didn't pay, and then strung me along for over a month. Timeline and Screenshots (read the messages bottom to top) May 11. Wants a quote for 5 background templates for a group (forest, swamp, desert, mountains, and plains). May 19. I respond back with a quote 9 (~$125, which can be paid via purchasing things from my Amazon Wishlist). They responded back, agreed to the pricing, and told me to go on. I provided some rough outlines of the backgrounds that day and further broke down what I wanted. She approves them (see next section screenshot). May 21: I finish the first background and show her a watermarked version. I also let her know I've added more items to my list (so she has more variety to order from). At this point, she still had not paid/ordered anything, so I remind her that she needs to order things to get the full version. She sends me a screenshot of her ordering things off the list (items to be delivered May 26th and June 2-9th). May 22: I responded back quickly (this was around midnight my time, so it's the next day). Unfortunately, she did not order the things I'd asked for earlier so I have her cancel that order and reorder what I'd requested. She did that (the were marked purchased on my Amazon Wishlist, but I have no screenshots of this/her purchase). May 23: I respond back with the full versions of the two backgrounds I've finished (roughly ~$50 worth of arts) as she'd purchased over $50 worth of items. Over the next few days, I periodically checked my wishlist (I was still shopping for things and other people were ordering things). I did not expect the items until at least Tuesday (the 26th) as Ariausiii had technically ordered my items on a Friday and shipping was backed up so I doubted they'd leave the warehouse until Saturday, the post doesn't move on Sunday, and Monday was Memorial Day. May 27: The items did not arrive. I have no way of tracking shipping on items that people order off my Wishlist so I could not track them myself. I didn't worry when they didn't come on Tuesday, but by Wednesday I was concerned as I /needed/ a few of those items. I check my list and the items have been moved to my Unpurchased section. I contact Ariausiii about this. She responded back quickly and said she'd look into it. (Note, I had not worked on any further parts of the commission because I had yet to receive any items. May 28: Ariausiii responds back saying they've talked to Amazon, claiming it's just an error on their part and the items will be there soon. I tell her to keep me updated and I'll contact her after the weekend. May 30: I contact Amazon myself. I get Amazon deliveries relatively quickly (just due to where I live) and all the items I'd ordered, but one, were via Prime shipping, so there is no reason that any of them should be taking this long. I asked the associate whether or not the order had been cancelled by the cardholder or if it was just an error. They couldn't give me a solid answer (confidentiality issues) but told me that it is marked unpurchased on their end. I decided to wait out the weekend. June 1: The items have not arrived so I contact Ariausiii again. I tell her that I'm going to have to put this set on hold until I am paid. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, telling her that she should cancel her order and reorder them again rather than dealing with a buggy system. June 2: She responds back and says she will continue trying to contact Amazon. June 3: She says she has cancelled her order, but will need to wait for her next paycheck to pay for these. June 23: I contact her again to touch bases at it is nearing the end of the month and my art time allotment will be shifting soon. Ariausiii states she'd still like to move forward with the commission, though this time with PayPal as she can now have one (note, prior to this I had no knowledge that she was minor as I do not do commissions with minors). I give her my contact details. There is another message after this, where I just told her to make sure to use Goods/Services and the dangers of not doing this since she was new to PayPal. I got no response from either message. July 1: I contacted her again about this, but no response as of this time. dA glitched and cut off part of my message so I had to resend part of it. As of now, I do not expect to be paid (at least not in a timely manner)for these commissions and will just be selling them off as YCHs/pre-done backgrounds. Ariausiii was nothing but pleasant during the process, but at the end of the day, I was not paid nor did she reach out to me about without prompting.

Caution: FurFancy Costume/ Victoria10717 / Nessi_Noodles
SewingStuffs posted a record in Artist Cautions
Back in late September 2019 I saw Fur Fancy advertise on their twitter they were taking commissions for 3D sculpted and printed custom bases ( you use these to cast foam fursuit heads from). They advertised each slot at $300 USD + shipping, which for the sculpt and actual printing I thought was a great price, so I proceeded to message them about ordering two custom bases. As you can see they were very prompt about answering my questions and sending me a PayPal invoice It took me a few days to get the example sketches commissioned from another artist, but by Oct 5th I had sent them the rough ideas for how I wanted the bases to look. After that I did proceed to ask them about upgrades to the bases such as eyeblacks but decided against them at the time. Come Nov 20th 2019 I saw them post again about taking on another custom sculpted/printed base. I had a bit of extra funds and thought I'd add to my existing order. At this time I had not received any updates about my previous bases, but wasn't worried as not much time had passed. Paid the same day I inquired and sent along the 3rd example sketch I commissioned for them to work off of On December 17th 2019 I was sent a picture of this first feline base rendered in the 3D sculpting program. Come January 10th 2020 I had received no updates so I thought I would start inquiring about the status of the commission. I was still waiting to hear when the first sculpt I was shown would print as well as see the other two 3D rendered as well as an ETA on the printing time. I heard nothing and messaged again on January 16th and 21st. I did not receive a reply until January 22 2020 , which at that point the lack of communication was starting to bother me. At this time I did follow their twitter and saw them make very frequent posts ( every couple days or so) This was the first to my knowledge about the 3D printers needing repairs. I honestly know nothing about 3D printers so did not think it was a huge deal. I just wanted to make sure the PayPal window would not close before I received everything ( 6 months is the timeframe for PayPal). I received an update come February 11th 2020 that one of the printers was back to working order. I assumed this meant that my first 3D sculpt would be printed soon. I still had yet to see the other two as digital sculpts. That was the only update I received in february, the rest of my messages on the 19th of February and 2nd of March were ignored. At this point due to the lack of communication I did bring up opening a PayPal dispute as it had nearly been 6 months since my original PayPal transaction in September 2019. That claim window would close on March 26th. Come March 7th 2020 I did receive screenshots of the other bases being sculpted in the 3D program That was all I had heard though. I inquired for an ETA on the printing come March 16th and reminded them that my first PayPal window closes soon on March 20th. To the last message I did not receive a response until March 23rd, only days before my first PayPal dispute window would close. At this point I did proceed to Paypal and opened the dispute, I did not notify FurFancy of it which is why I think they started messaging me more. Though they only would communicate with me on twitter, they would never message through PayPal . At this point I have only received the 3D sculpted screenshots, no ETA of when they should print or even ship out. I was more than willing to take a partial refund of the 3D sculpted files, but I would not close the PayPal dispute until they had been provided to me as I did not trust FurFancy to take my money and give me nothing in the end. With the dispute FurFancy did bring her family issues into play, I assume to try and guilt me into closing the PayPal dispute. Personally this left a bad taste in my mouth. FurFancy then proceeds to name drop another fursuit builder whom they are also sculpting bases for that is apparently ahead of my in her queue. At this point in time I had never had any ETAS given, seen a queue or even a TOS. The only form of contact I have for FurFancy is their twitter, though apparently they dont use it that often ( yet I see them post periodically selling misc parts and showing off suit wips) At this point I honestly feel like I am just running around in circles with FurFancy. I ended up finding their TOS on my own, which as a client, even if not for normal suit work, I feel should have been sent to me. If twitter isn't an ideal way to communicate give me an email or telegram I can contact instead. For the last few messages I did have a friend help type up the response to outline why I am keeping the dispute on PayPal open and reinterate that I am willing to pay for the 3D rendered files. So that is my last interaction with FurFancy on twitter. I submitted all this information to PayPal and they ended up siding in my favour as FurFancy never responded to the dispute by the looks of it. In the end I did receive a full refund thanks to PayPal, but the entire transaction was a learning experience. I assumed that because of FurFancy's status as a larger builder commissioning would be professional and easy. I didn't loose anything but my time luckily TL:DR Commissioned FurFancy for 3 3D sculpted and 3D printed head bases, ended up not receiving them and opened a PayPal dispute to receive a full refund.- 3 comments

A day passed, nothing, she had been active on facebook, 'liking' things and made a comment to someone. Despite being taken back, and a bit insulted, I tried to approach the situation as civil as possible. I decided there, by her attitude and failure to deliver initially, that I wanted a full refund, as I had not even used the character anyways. She accused me of shorting her on an (unrelated) refund issued recently. I tried to explain a bit of why the payments ere either cents or a few dollars short (paypal fee.) She refunded me in full (17 usd) then on the note of "Fine I sent it back now leave me alone." Although I was refunded in full after a bit of negotiating, I feel her behavior and attitude alone warrants a beware here. Very off putting in a transaction. PROOF: (See above section.) Jul. 3rd, 2012 at 1:08 AM lovelesskiax EDIT 2: Though he has been banned from FA on his Dante account, he has come back on a new account claiming to be Dante's room mate: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fangglorybane/ Additional Edit: Here are screenshots left on an artist's page through this new account. The artist is one that Dante harassed in the past, and they saw through the new account right away. As you can see, the typing and language are very, very like Dante's. https://www.dropbox.com/s/l1mgzxnq2h836lg/new account 1.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/39lh3eha0t2tt9f/new account 2.png EDIT: Updated with his new FA account, replaced the last screen-shot with a more readable version. He has left his FA account and has promised not to contact me since July 3rd. PROOF: I will put with the explanation, to hopefully help you follow better. EXPLAIN: For the past few months, Dante has been annoying me. He was a bit annoying during my pantsu icon raffle, where he kept mentioning that his birthday was soon after the raffle ended. Him entering: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/raffle1.png Comment on raffle reminder: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/raffle2.png I personally found his continuous mention of his birthday to be sort of a pressure, even if he didn't intend. I just assume most people wouldn't mention it at all if they didn't want to put pressure on the artist. May 31st, after the raffle had ended, he noted me. I was completely confused at first at what he was asking for, but after clarification, he was breaking one of the rules of my TOS: I must be paid before work. Here he's trying to order a commission and promising to pay later because right now he doesn't have a paypal: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/attemptatfreecommission.png I don't have screen shots of this because the shout got bumped off my page (I only felt the need to make this article after tonight, so all caps are recent), but in it he asked if he could commission me for a pantsu icon, even though they were journal only. The fact that he was aware of it, and wanted one even though he had no paypal, really stung me bad. July 19th, after I had answered someone else's question about my future pricing on reference sheets, he comes to the deluxe reference sheet I did for my fursona and commented: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/reffsheetalltogether.jpg I put him on my blacklist then. He's the first and hopefully the last. June 22nd, he came to my page and apologized. I accepted, and he then asked what being on the blacklist is (I only have a small portion of this, as shouts got bumped off): http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/askingaboutblacklist.png Then, on June 28th, he came back to my page and asked to get off the blacklist again: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/askingtobeoffblacklist.png I replied "No.", but he wiped his shouts before I could grab it. But at this point I was more than fed up with his whining. Today, July 3rd, I posted a journal opening up my pantsu icons again. He came in, whining about how he wanted one but he was on the blacklist. Then he tried to get someone to commission me for him, which I did not want: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/pantsujournalcomments.jpg He sent me a note, and well...Here's the notes (long read): http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm177/Loveless_Neko3/notesalltogether.jpg After this I was absolutely stunned, and felt making an A_B post was necessary so other's wouldn't have trouble with him as well. But I was unaware of weather I had to have actual, money exchanging business to post him on here (I couldn't really find anything about it on here, sorry if it was somewhere and I didn't realize) so I made a journal on FA asking for advice. Here's how the journal basically went (black boxes used to hide screenames and conversations not relevant to the situation, also screenshot thanks to someone on FA. Journal is also deleted as of now, but I have un-censored screenshot still saved): http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/3254/questionaboutmakinganab.jpg And it ended there. He wiped his account, and I'm making this post. I hope people can watch out for him, because this was not the best experience.

I've commissioned this artist at the 30th of October 2019. [Mod edit]: Original listing - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33612846/ Sent her references of my feral only character [1] ("feral only" means, there IS NO anthro reference), and told her the pose I would like to be in [2]. 2 months followed without a response. I received not a single note. I haven't seen a single WIP. At 12th of December 2019, she made a submission on FA. A fully finished picture, portraying my feral character as an anthro [3]. I didn’t have any say in it. I didn’t ever gave consent to this. I requested a change and Patrik agreed [4]. So far so good. I received a fix proposal the same day. But it wasn't working for me, the arms had anatomical issues [5]. So I told her those arms need some fixing [6], and gave her a reference to work with [7]. Even though only the arms needed fixing, Patrik was insisting she had to change the entire picture. I pressured that this was not the case, the rest can stay as it is [8]. I didn't receive a response. I sent another note to make sure and I didn't receive a response there either [9]. So then days and weeks pass and new submissions were uploaded. In January I tried speaking to her on Telegram. 3 days later I get the response that I should remain patient. 2 weeks later I ask again. No response. 2 weeks later, again, I ask again. No response. 1 week later, I ask again. No response [10]. All while she was active on FA and Twitter, mind you. Uploading all the submissions, obviously working on art, obviously being available. And finally, February 12th, the day she started uploading submissions for the SECOND batch, I lost my patience. Thus far she has managed to work on 20 other artworks, but not on the fix of mine. I complained about her business practices and stated my ultimatum that, if she wants to keep the money, I expect a proper fix. Finally she was able to respond, within 40 minutes even. Told me she didn't have time to do it. And left it at that without another response for another week again [11]. So February 18th (meanwhile 5 more submission were made, AND she opened slots for the third batch [12]), I asked "Will you work on the fix once your entire queue is empty?" I asked if she could finally respond in a reasonable time to me. She responded within a minute, and sent another fix proposal [13]. It was feral this time... but absolutely not the pose I had asked for [14]. I'll be honest here, I could've left it at that and said "you know what, it's fine", but I refused to accept this after how I was treated all this time. I gave very proper instructions, very proper references and I'm getting this thrown at my face like "that's what you get, be happy with it"? No. Just no. So what followed was a discussion about the details I gave her. I gave her all the screenshots of the notes she didn't care to respond to, which explained exactly what I wanted. I was really frustrated at this point [15]. I spoke to her about her business practices, how she is treating me and leaving me completely behind. 25 artworks on top of mine, and that's when I get my fix? I should've gotten the fix right then and there. All she said was that every other drawing had no errors (yeah, if you don't show your customers, they can hardly complain, can they?). She "didn't have time to fix the artwork". But she had time for 25 other artworks [16]? The discussion went a little wild at this point, too much information to put it all together. I wanted to show her how I have been treated unfairly by her.[17][18][19] But here's the real cream of it all, and I'll pull her quote directly: "It is also your fault that you did not write in the description in which form you want your character" [20] It is my fault that she drew my feral only character, to which she had an entire album of feral references, as an anthro? Apparently, ALL the customers (and I mean every single one of them) do state wether they want to be anthro or feral [21]. Yes, I did in fact not state wether or not I wanted to be feral, because I had the wild assumption, that it would be completely, unquestionably obvious, that if I send an entire album full of feral only references, that I would like to be feral. So, if it was "my fault" that I didn't state if I wanted to be feral or anthro, if she was unsure and just had to decide on her own... "Why didn't you ask me?", I questioned. "no time"... [22] ... So Patrik literally claims that she had "no time", sending a note with a single question, which would take one minute at most, within the span of 2 months, before the completion of the artwork. This is what makes it shameful. This is why I am so angry, frustrated and appalled. At the 29th of March I have told Patrik that she has time to finish the fix until April 26th, because that's when my PayPal's Buyer Protection for this transaction will expire. I have also told her that I extracted everything and will make an Artist Beware post soon, wether or not she actually finishes the fix. At this point she still has the chance to make it the best it can be. Additionally I requested the artwork to be removed from all sites it had been posted on. This message was unresponded to until short before the expiration date. Eventually I activated PayPal’s Buyer Protection service, wrote a Trouble Ticket to FA about the Situation (about wanting the submission removed) and informed Patrik about it [23]. The 11th of May, Patrik asked me to cancel the PayPal dispute, for whatever reason. I did not comply, as it would eradicate my right to ever receive my money again [24]. 15th of May I got fully refunded and FA Staff removed the submission. I thought we were done. But unfortunately, it doesn’t end here. At the 1st of June, Patrik sent me another “fixed” artwork, fully finished [25]. I did never ask for this. She asked me if I wanted the drawing. I replied that I don’t. It is a finished piece of the first fixing proposal [5], which I had already rejected before. How am I supposed to receive this, after all this hassle about her not following my instructions? Not only is there so much negativity associated with the artwork now, it is still not fixed! The anatomy is still wrong on there, in a way that I find unacceptable. And again, I rejected this exact thing before! I did not want to receive a “gift” either, that wouldn’t feel right. I was willing to pay her again, if she would have corrected it. I told her how I feel about all of it [26]. I will be entirely honest here, I don’t know why she did that. Was it supposed to be a gift, a redemption, an apology? Whatever it was, she failed me because it was the exact same thing. It was the EXACT SAME GAME she played with me here. She finished a picture without having me look at it. She didn’t work on the fixes I requested. She finished it only after the entire queue was done. I did not consent to her doing that with my character. I am sorry, but no. These are the exact things I complained about, and she did it again. This feels much less than a gift, but more than a stab with a knife. Patrik proceeded to show me the differences between the two finished pieces [3][25], insisting that she did change it to feral. Which, yes it was feral, but anatomically unacceptable for me, as the forelegs of a feral canine don’t bend that way. For some reason, she picked up that Feral vs Anthro argument up again. Which lit another discussion about her business practices [27]. She then went back to insisting that she did a fix. Which I denied, telling her exactly what is wrong, and which solution I proposed before, 4 months ago [28], reciting my message from February [15]. Patrik proclaimed the case as over. Saying that now I have my money, and art. (As a fair sidenote, I do not accept the art. I’ve never added it to my private gallery and I never will.) I responded saying that it isn’t all about the money for me. It’s about how ignorant she is towards the fact that when people pay for something, they expect a proper result for their price. She only replied saying that my money has been returned. At this point I admit, I lost my cool. I was infuriated by her ignorance towards the actual issue I was trying to tell her all those months since our first interaction. Telling her that she was treating me disrespectfully. Telling her how other artists struggle to even get as far as selling their art for that money, which she takes for granted. A little bit of back and forth on the same old themes again [29]. Interestingly, she admitted that her life has been changing and that it has been hard. Admitting that she doesn’t have the time to do commissions [30]. But that’s the only thing she would openly admit to me, before we were talking about business again. I’m still pushing the point that her business model is not okay and customer unfriendly [31]. And this concludes the end of it [32]. My beware reads as follows: If you commission PatrikTheDog, don’t expect to see a result within any reasonable time. Don’t expect her to respond to your questions or issues. Most of your messages will go by unread and unresponded to. Don’t expect her to respect your requests of changes, and if there are any to be made, you will be put at the end of the current (or next) queue, before she will do it. You will not receive a WIP and she will not ask for your consent before she uploads artwork of your character, which the final result you might have issues with, as it was in my case. She treats her customers with no respect, taking it for granted that she is earning money from you. She will blame you for her own mistakes. You will only receive a refund if you force her to, for example by using PayPal’s Buyer Protection service. Which she will request you to cancel, for no reason at all. You might be asking, what do I want at this stage? Patrik is a wonderful artist, no doubt. I absolutely admire her style, which is very unique, clean and beautiful. I am truly saddened that I possibly can not ever commission her again, to have any valuable piece of her artworks. But her business practices are the just absolutely infuriating and customer unfriendly. She doesn’t know how to treat her customers right, and just expects them to play along her game. You’re a good customer as long as you don’t have any complaints about her. But when you do, since you might be caring about the artwork that you’re commissioning, expect some backlash. What I truly want from her is a sincere apology. I feel mistreated and disrespected. Not once did she show some humility to what has happened. It seems like that I was only annoying her, when really, I just wanted to be a customer and treated with, at the very least, casual respect and attention. I want her to do better than this, revise her business practices and think about how she treats art again. It is a shame that a talented artist like herself is going such a shady and unhealthy way. Now you know the full story. I hope I can help make a change. JJThePlug contacted me via Discord asking me to create an illustration of "2 boys / Smoking a zoot / One of them have a bally (a face mask) / And they need to be in front of a range rover / Black background / Purple border". Said this picture would be used in association with a video to be posted on Grmdaily (music video website). He said he needed the drawing "Today/2 days". I said I would draw it today if he would pay me today. He said yes. I drew it and showed him a preview. He said he wanted it to be "more detailed" and refused to pay, even going as far as to delete his message where he agreed to pay me today. Fortunately I got screenshots before he deleted anything. Foolish of me to put in work before being paid but foolish of this guy to expect more "detailed" art for 30 pounds within a day

Artist On a public Discord, did not hold up their end of the deal, and choose to try and run away with the money without doing the correct work or even hold up their end of the deal. The First part about the commission remaining private is also a lie on their end. As it is posted on their FA https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36446919/ Also an imgur link in case they try and hide the proof. https://imgur.com/HHNJI1F Edit: 05.21.20 The artist has put my private email up on their website.

I have a species i had created called Koberu, now, these species are closed to the public and i do not at all allow these species to be made by others and sold as adopts, at least until i can get a proper Ref sheet made for them for people to buy and use to make them. it started on Sep 11th, 2019, 07:41 PM , i had received an note on furaffinity from Mramor, she had stated that someone had come to her and asked for a commission and used reference shots from Secondlife, which is were i make and sell my Koberu as well: before i seen the second one, this was my response: now, in the chat we had, she had mentioned that she had never seen them before...that she had never even heard of a Koberu before, well, i at the time believed her, and as you saw she said that she did not want to waste her time and i felt bad she put work into the first one, so i told her to go ahead and put it up for adopt (which...was a big mistake on my end...) i later realized my mistake on doing it, but lets get into that now, she responded with this: now i made this response after seeing the mint one, and it kinda put me on edge, cause she only showed me the first one. She didn't mention there was a second one, but I let her sell those two. It did not click in my brain until a good friend pointed it out to me, but she mentioned she was shocked that one of her designs looked like one of my Koberu. hang on a second, i thought to myself, how was she shocked when she has seen them before...? oh yes, she has seen them before, how do i know you may ask, well, here is the evidence... here you can see my friend bid on one of the koberus, take a good look at the date this auction was posted She left a shout on my freind's page saying how much damn gorgeous her sona was. Here is more proof that she seen the auction before contacting me. [Mod note]: There were multiple caps on various users' pages. Due to the caps resizing strangely, we added in a few crops. Please note that this user has been leaving shouts on multiple bidders' pages. not only did she see the auction i did, she also favorited one of my koberu pictures 2 months back as well, here is the proof but, before i noticed she liked this (which was brought to my attention by my friend) i asked her about the shouts, cause i was told about the shouts before i found out she favored my Koberu Picture as i stated in my reply.. before hers, i told her only two.....BUT THEN SHE SAID SHE WAS WORKING ON ANOTHER ONE? even though i told her only those two?! that made me nervous and unsure about my choice now....i was starting to wonder if i made the right choice giving her permission...so this was her response... what....? .....haven't...heard of them before...? okay this here is where the red flag started to slap me in the face hardcore now...she said she was shocked she never seen them before, but left a shout on my friends pages, i do have another friend she left a shout on, but she did not bid on an auction until later on but here is a screenshot of the shout she left her before contacting me about the Koberus she HAD to have seen my auctions and seen my Koberu... -lied about not seeing my Koberu -people asking for commissions -people getting the idea they can sell them. -and tried to make a third adopt even though i told her only TWO -unfair to others who wanted to make Koberus don't you think that is a justified reason to ask her to take them down? people were starting to think they could make custom Koberu adopts and try and sell them even though they are an closed species of mine and no one is suppose to sell them but me, i broke my own rule i will admit and i was being way to nice, a fault in which i really need to fix, but anyways, i confronted her today and asked her nicely to take them down, and explained why... hold on to your seats folks cause this is about to get spicy: i know i said i only gave permission to sell the blue one but i did not remember at that time that i gave her permission for both so, i will admit to that mistake. but what sets me off about this is she tried to bring the bidders into this...which btw i contacted the bidders and informed them of the situation at hand and they completely understood, and they were super okay with it...i showed these screenshots to people, asking if this all sounded shady, cause i did not want to take all of this in the wrong way, but many have told me to confront her about this and as you can see, i am trying to in the nicest way possible...no aggression at all, then she goes and says she will just change the name ''hybrid dog'' ....? no, no, people have ALREADY SEEN THAT YOU NAMED IT KOBERU its obvious that is what it is and i have the evidence to prove you KNOW what a Koberu is and that you lied about not seeing them, even your mate made an art piece for a friend of mine who is a KOBERU here we go again with the ''i did not know it was a species'' gig...even after i just showed you the evidence. so after all that quarrel she says this, and, honestly it has me very worried, cause, she claimed she took them down, and then said she sold them? even after i told her to kindly take them down? and whats worse is, she still has reminders up on her alt for them the fact she activated a dead account to sell them is down right...wrong...I am writing this beware because she still is trying to sell them even though i told her specifically not to, again, i do not like nor is my intent to slander her name, i just want people to be careful around her and that to check her story first before you believe, her, i regret not doing so in the first place but it wont happen again.

Disclaimer: the screenshots I have are the best I can get from discord chats where I talked with others about the commission months ago. Commissioner blocked me (see attachment 1) immediately after my saying I wasn't content with my commission compared to others they've done, thus I cannot get any other screenshots than those I have here. -- Proper: Our first contact about the commission was right after they posted they were open for commissions and (of I remember right) in need of help financially. I had talked with them previously, as they made a nice little $10 pinup of my lizard boy (Attachment 2), and I even made them a little art as thanks in return. They seemed nice, so why not help them out and see what they can do for a full piece? April 7th, I paid the $140 (attachment 3) for a full shaded piece with a background and showed them all my references for my Y/veltal and U/mbreon characters performing missionary position and its supposed to be romantic. I will note that shaded characters is worth more than background (attachment 4), and the background ended up being the subject in the end piece. After the start of our commission, they seemed to go pretty fast! They got me the first sketch within 3 days, which came in the form of just a fully lined "background". (attachment 5) Took me off-guard because that never happens, getting the background (lined) before even seeing a sketch of any sort, especially the subjects. Thought maybe the subjects would go on the couch or floor or something (since I didn't specify where, which was in retrospect may have been my first mistake, and they wouldn't tell me what they were about to do). I figured I would wait it out and see what they do. Waited quite a while, a month went by, another month...I was beginning to wonder, so I asked if there was any progress. Each time I asked, they simply answered "no progress". Meanwhile on Twitter I had noticed them saying they were too depressed to work or some such thing, then it turned to them being in art school all of a sudden. And whenever they were in the mood, they'd spit out about 5 pinup commissions at a given time. By the time I even got an update (which I will touch on in a moment), there had to have been about 30 to 40 commissions finished by them. That is not an exaggeration. I confronted them about it and after a few times of trying, they did indeed confirm that they took many MANY commissions at once, and it's been piling up ever since. And yet they are still asking for commissions and taking over a year to finish what I assume to be most of them. Moving on, the first update I got since the lined background was on February 11th, 2020 (attachment 6) I voiced my concern that the subjects weren't in the foreground and were instead in the background (attachment 7) while also trying to be nice because they were supposedly my friend, and the fact they'd been going through a lot (allegedly). Their only response was "this is what it looks like zoomed in" (attachment 8 ) which is a big yikes because, not only was it low res if you did zoom in, but it's also the fact it's not the focus, is a big no-no. I voiced my concerns again, and she left me on read. February 13th, another update. They only showed that they had colored and shaded the "background" which I thought looked pretty dang good, all things considered. (attachment 9) But no sign of whether Chio decided to move the characters anywhere else. Figured I would wait and see. Fast forward to APRIL 15TH with no prior WIPs, the characters were lined and flat colored already. I was so done and tired at this point and just wanted it done that I just couldn't bear to say anything. Other than just shade them, because obviously there was nothing I could do at this point. They had already got it set in stone without my permission. (attachment 10) Their reaction to "shading" the characters? (like I had bloody paid for) They darken the room. (attachment 11) So I figure, well, if you're going to do that, maybe can shade it nice with some glow effects from the U/mbreon that bounce off the Y/veltal and the walls and all? No. All that happens is that they add a glow around the markings. (attachment 12) Nothing spectacular. I paid full price for this. And the BACKGROUND is the FOREGROUND, and the characters aren't even shaded. Full piece: (attachment 13) Friend asking if full piece is a wip: (attachment 14) Proof of talking with my friends about this even early on when I found out it was in the background: (attachment 15) Other examples of art released at the same time that is better: (attachment 16) I'm sorry, but that is a failure to do what you have to do. Failure to communicate and make sure. Failure to get things done. Failure on the level of taking on way too many commissions and getting none done for an eternity. And then screwing up a full piece, which should be considered having /more/ care and effort put into it than your average pinup. Tl;dr -Takes too many commissions, and thus takes over a year to do your art -Not good at communication on commissions to make sure its what the commissioner wants -Overly sensitive if you say anything negative at all There were no WIPs before this.

I bought a slot for an M/F explicit piece, and I bought the female slot. The pose leaves ambiguous penetration, so the bottom slot could very easily be make if a dick is drawn on the character. I buy the slot, the artist (ponsex) messages me, and I send them the ref of the character. I send them the nsfw reference, which shows clearly visible female bits, and as all my other YCH experiences have gone, I expect to be asked if they have any questions about things like outfits, color, edits like cum, internal shot, etc, but for the most part its straightforward. Fast forward to yesterday, I get a completed picture of the image, and I have four versions in total: an M/F version, cum and non-cum, and an M/M version, cum and non-cum. I never asked for my character Caiya to have a male edit. The sketch had included a penis in the case that the second slot was male, but as per the reference, it is very clear that the character is female. I feel like the fact that something as major as the gender of the character being changed without my permission is a major betrayal of trust on the artist's part, and even though the original version was completed as requested, the edit should not have been made at all. This character specifically has a backstory as surviving domestic abuse, and a major part of her character is being a strong, tough female. I know there are a lot of users (including me) who relate strongly and on a personal level to their characters, and that can include self-identification such as being trans. I talked to a lot of other people and they agreed that especially for certain characters they own, they would be just as livid seeing their character in a gender they are not supposed to be/they don't identify as. My major problem is how dismissive and unaware they are of the problem, if not to the point of rude. They do not seem to understand that this is not okay, and whether its the easy way or the hard way, all I want them to understand is how big of an issue this is. If this is how they react to this kind of issue, they don't deserve further business if this is their attitude. The screenshots are below (read from the very bottom up):

I commissioned Sabletide / Stark / Glaciekat after meeting them on a Discord, on the 1st of November. I want to add that I tipped them a $5 extra because I know that artist life can be hard and that I liked their art a lot. Moreover, I didn't ask for a specific delay from the beginning. I let them take their time and have free will about their decisions and what I wanted with the commission. Here's the timeline of what happened (see Discord and Gmail screenshots): Between the 1st and the 13th of November, I had no news from them. On the 13th of November, they told me that they'll send me Works In Progress (WIPs) when they will be home. On the 14th they said that they weren't home but they'd send me the WIPs "tonight". On the 16th I sent them my ref sheet. No answer. On the 17th I asked them the WIP, they said that they were doing edits. I told them just to change the face markings of my character. One month after, on the 7th of December, I sent them an email asking for news and saying that I lost their Discord nickname. No answers. December 12, I asked them to answer me within 48 hours, otherwise I would do a PayPal dispute. December 13th, still no news from them at all, I asked a refund to PayPal because I didn't want to get scammed. They finally answer my e-mail after I created the PayPal dispute. 16th of December, after we got back to each other on Discord the same day, I asked they if they were ok to draw my Fursona even if the character have completely changed. They said it was okay (they could have said no) and that they could get it "mostly done today" (on the 16th of December). I then closed the PayPal dispute. On the 17th of December they sent me a WIP. On the 19th of December I went back to them, they said they were slow because of the holidays, which I understood. I asked they not to tell me any more delays because I can't just come back every time they say "I'll finish it in one week/one day" etc because it's frustrating both for them and I. They told me it would be "within 2 weeks for sure". I understood. On the 11th of January, I asked they if I could get any answer from them. On the 14th of January, they sent me another WIP. They said it "shouldn't take too long". And today here we are, 4 months after and all I had were just WIPs. I didn't ask for any deadline or any precise date but they gave me a bunch of delays that they didn't keep. They could have said no for the whole new character - I would have understand it - but they didn't and accepted to re-draw the character entirely. They didn't keep me updated at all, which ended up with me disputing for the payment because our conversation was so lost in Discord I couldn't get it back. I ended up asking for a partial refund, because I ordered a bunch of other commissions in the meantime and all of them have been completed but theirs. I understand that they have priorities, studies aside their commissions, but keeping me waiting and keep saying that they'll do it in [insert a delay here] isn't going anywhere.

Hi there~ This is my first post on here, so sorry if I don't do everything right ;0; Just had a pretty intense interaction with a buyer, so I'd like to warn anyone who may come into contact with him. I contacted EylonFerrousa on Telegram after he had made several posts in a few chats we shared looking for an artist to draw his dragon character. His budget was $40 and I was willing to work with that. I generally do commissions differently than most (this experience has made me change my methods, however); I usually try to complete the sketch before requiring payment, so after receiving a text description of the dragon he wanted drawn, I got to work and made a few sketches with minimal tweaking. Once I had gotten it to a point that I thought would be good enough to go forward with, I sent it to him but didn't receive any response for well over a week. I sent a quick "hey just checking in" message, and he informed me that some things had come up and he needed to cancel the commission. No biggie, life happens, and I totally understand ? I said as much, but mentioned that because I had spent quite a long time on that sketch, I would probably recycle the pose to fit one of my dragon characters that I had been meaning to draw (I would not be stealing his character, just using the pose and anatomy that I had spent around an hour perfecting on his dragon to make drawing mine go quicker) He was irked by this, saying that he'd rather I not reuse it, since he would be using the sketch. After I insisted that he did not own that sketch since he had not paid for it, he responded, saying that in his ToS (apparently commissioners have ToS's? I haven't heard of this) he claims that all art drawn for him belongs exclusively to him, whether he's paid for it or not. This alone is something you can't enforce, as artists own the art that they draw, especially art that hasn't been paid for, but prior to this, the idea of him having a ToS was never brought up, mentioned, or linked to. If he really did have such a ridiculous condition in his ToS, this should have been the first thing brought up. He then proceeded to go on a bit of a tirade, claiming that if I did anything to that piece, he would have full grounds to sue me, and he ensured me that I "didn't want a lawsuit on my hands." I responded, practically refuting everything he said, and I promptly blocked him. I have the entire chat screenshotted (good thing too, because he nuked the chat as soon as I replied to his lawsuit threats), but the only truly important parts are the end where things got heated, and I'll put my response in there as well just for a little closure. I'll include them below, but if any more info is requested, I'd be more than happy to provide it. I'll also put in the original message he had sent when looking for artists to draw his dragon, as well as the sketch of the dragon I completed as proof that I had done the work in the first place. Unfortunately, I seem to have missed the text he sent me after his long tirade about suing me; he made sure to mention that he had business to attend to with the CEO of Hasbro (an obvious scare tactic, and a poor one at that).

Most of the info for this story I've provided in the images. The jist of it is that I feel this commissioner deliberately backed me into a corner to send them a refund with the intention to get free artwork. I also feel they misunderstood what they were ordering. I will admit that I was not as clear as I could have been in the advertisement for this offer however that does not excuse the fact that this person didn't give me sufficient info in order to draw this project accurately and then proceeded to demand a refund over errors when I had already delivered a completed piece of work to them and even took the time to fix these errors. Most of the issues they had with the delivered content was not addressed before hand such as the fact they wanted NSFW content and full nudity on their characters and that the accessory were mandatory. and I'd also like to state that had they ordered this piece of work based on my regular prices it would have been 90$ instead of 60$ so it is infact a sale. They did not pay for the quality of work they were demanding and though I tried to address this to them they did not seem willing to accept that. This is why I have posted this to warn other artist and hopefully prevent anyone els from having a similar experience with this person.

TL;DR: I commissioned an icon. It had a couple things that were wrong and it wasnt up to par to her examples. After agreeing to redo it, she hasn't responded to any of my messages. She has been online posting that she is open for more commissions, but has yet to reply to me over several months. ---------------------------- Detailed version: Back in Feburary 15th, I commissioned NekoArt for an icon after she had posted opening for commissions to pay for some things. ($35 in USD) A few days later, she sent me the commission, but there were a couple things wrong (long eyelashes, no horns, ears going down instead of to the side). She never sent me a WIP so I never had the chance to correct them. They replied saying they'll fix it, and this was the last I heard of her (Feb 25th). Later I also realized the quality didn't match those of her other icon examples 2 months go by and I haven't heard anything, so I sent a new note on April. No reply, then one in August and one in October. None of them were opened. I emailed their paypal email back in August. I messaged her through telegram, which says she was last online in September. She has posted on another website just last month that she is opened for commissions (this was translated in chrome, so its a little rough). She has also posted a couple of times on her Tumblr in June, confirming she has been online.

So we commissioned one of our favourite artists, lupinprincess, to redraw our irl engagement photo. we have worked with her before, so we knew it was a good bet to drop $110 usd on her. the paypal fee took $6 of it, so we actually tipped her the extra $6 cause we trusted her. It is gorgeous, the background, the poses, just beautiful. but, my red panda nose looks not quite right. a little off. so i asked her if she was willing to change it slightly. not the whole picture, not the pose, just my nose. she immediately said no, and blocked me. all the money we spent.... the good faith we had in her.... and all i see when i look at it is my big nose... I wish she would have taken even a second to look at the drawing with me to find a solution. Maybe it wasn't the nose, maybe the eye and lips just need to be moved forward. But she wouldn't give me any more time to talk about it before she blocked me and ceased all communication. This is a once in a lifetime commission of our actual engagement and now every time i see that photo she redrew, all i can think of is how rude she was about it. so so so sad 😞

Okay so, I’m not entirely sure this warrants a beware so that’s why I put this under Caution. This may be a potential scam, reason why I say “may” is because the reasons that popped up didn’t seem 100% BS. Basically, FoiFouu lied about sending me 70$ for a reference sheet they tried to commission off me. They repeatedly tried to send me signs that it was really being sent and maybe trying to guilt me into doing it for free, but I specifically told them that I would not be starting it until payment was verified (thus me getting an annoyed response back) I offered to refund them the hundreds of dollars they supposedly sent me tons of times, if they’d show me proof that they did pay it. Sadly they quietly refused to send me any proof. A day later and I contact them again letting them know that payment has still not been received and proof of payment would be appreciated (At this point I sort of believed they actually sent money and was offering to start on it if they would just send me proof that it was paid for.) I got no response and I contacted the server mods I encountered “FoiFouu” in. They asked me to forward proof and once I did, they told me they would investigate further about the situation. 2 days passed and no reply from the Mod Mail Bot so I bumped the thread. A few hours I get a response telling me that they have reviewed the content and have contacted “FoiFouu” about the situation and that if they don’t reply there would be consequences. Thus “FoiFouu” did not reply resulting in them getting banned and getting labeled as potentially scamming members(As shown in picture). I have included FoiFouu’s discord username below just in case anyone encounters someone similar and is not sure if they’re FoiFouu or not. Please be cautious of this person!! (Apologies if some of this doesn’t make sense, it’s early in the morning for me. I’ll be happy to clear up some misunderstandings!)

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I can finally make this post as the bank closed the cases in my favor... AVOID THE MAKER SPLOOTSUITS! I commissioned them for a head and bodysuit at MFF last year, in the amount of $1340. They only communicated once every few months, and would never provide any WIPs or actual updates to progress! Finally, they tried saying they would deliver the head in person through an unnamed 'friend' at AC, on July 8th, nearly 8 MONTHS later! Still, they would not send any updates, and when the suit never arrived, they made excuses to get out of any blame. Finally, after trying to resolve with them (to no response), I had to go through my bank, a nearly 2 month process of not knowing whether my hard earned money would come back. SO PLEASE do not commission or buy from @ Splootsuits. They will more than likely do the same to you. I hate having to make a post like this, but I feel like it is necessary. Above is the post I made onto my Twitter account, sharing this information before I learned of this website. I have attached a couple screenshots for this case. The two telegram screenshots are of the last few messages I sent to the seller. In addition is part of their excuse, their last message to me before their final loss of contact. In total, out of 8 months of waiting, I was only in contact for a total of 4 to 6 days interspersed within that timeframe. Finally, the last image is from my bank, showing the completed credits back to my account after all of these issues. These credits were officially added back today (Sept. 8th), as they were provisional during the time of the investigation.

In January I had commissioned neoarcadianx for a reference sheet of my character, they had actually designed him originally and had just completed the design a few days before. currently this is a screenshot of the invoice, I received a refund in April after filing a dispute, then chargeback. over the weeks I poked them on discord multiple times, asking about the art, and keeping up with their Trello. i asked for a few changes over the weeks, some not being added to the Trello at all After getting only one sketch and no updates, and not really getting any information from the artist when asked, I decided to create a dispute through PayPal. It was not a chargeback, and the purpose of it was to simply try to talk it out as adults. At this time this was not yet a chargeback, but a dispute. After this was opened I received this as a response. In every conversation I had had with them, I was never told they had commissions from months before that they had not started, and they never updated me on their rl life or situation. They also were continually advertising that they were open on public discords, and taking commissions while others had theirs put aside and ignored. Including my own. After the explosive response I escalated the dispute for a chargeback, and received a refund from PayPal.

On June 17, 2019, after seeing a post on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/c1l10a/art_i_will_draw_your_pc/) I went to Sketchy Kyle's fiverr to place an order for a commission totaling $42. The set due date was June 22, 2019 but on this day the artist opened a dispute to extend the deadline to June 25, 2019 citing personal reasons and being busy with other commissions likely coming from the same reddit thread. I agreed as waiting is usually no worry for me, but days then weeks passed with no updates. On July 18, 2019 I messaged them in an attempt to get back into contact with them, as fiverr showed that they had been online recently. No answer. Again I attempted communication on August 2, 2019, and again no answer. On checking their fiverr profile it would seem that they have deleted their account. Thanks to fiverr I still have the $42 but it is locked to the platform. I'm afraid I'm not the only one from the reddit thread that received the same treatment so I hope that if they should surface with a similar username others can be aware of their practices. I am unaware if they have a twitter or other social media unfortunately. videogifevidence1.mp4

Who: Dubmutt Where: Twitter @dub_mutt What: Graphic art print Amount: $19.49 Details: On May 11, 2019, I purchased one of Dubmutt’s prints on a site called Storeenvy. The order came to $19.49. The description said that she ships these same day if purchased before 2pm, which I had done. June 5th comes along and I still don’t have the print or any shipping email. I messaged her on her email asking about the print status, explaining that I don’t have a tracking number, shipping confirmation, or the print itself after almost a month of purchase. I had also messaged her on Twitter on June 7th after no reply from the email, explaining the same thing in case she didn’t check her email/was more active on Twitter. To be on the safe side, I also opened a PayPal dispute for item not received on the same day. Later on the 7th soon after I open the dispute, Dubmutt conveniently gets back to me through Twitter. Her excuse was that she “never got the notification that I bought the print.” Which I find weird because obviously she got my money for the print, it’s not like the money appeared out of nowhere. She promised to ship the item right away which I then received on June 10. She had provided a tracking number and I got the shipping confirmation email. I had closed the PayPal case (which I now know was a bad idea). I open the print from the rolling tube it was packed in and immediately notice large, visible creases all over the print. Dissatisfied, I messaged Dubmutt on Twitter again, telling her the situation and providing images of the creases. She blamed it on tampering from the post office, despite the package being securely sealed. She had promised me a refund as well as a free replacement print. I provided my email for the refund in case she needed it again. She had said that she was out of town and wouldn’t be able to send the refund or the replacement until the “beginning of July.” I was fine with that and waited. July 3 comes along, I message her on Twitter politely asking about the refund and replacement. No reply. I wait, and email her on July 11, politely asking the same thing. No reply. The 18th comes along and I still have not heard from her or got the refund or replacement. Because I had stupidly closed the case on PayPal too early, I am out of luck. I am new to disputes with PayPal and I was unaware that you couldn’t open a second case if something else went wrong with the transaction. I contacted PayPal and they could do nothing for me. Today on the 19th, Dubmutt has finally gotten back to me via Twitter, after saying she would at the beginning of this month. She now says that she wishes I would have sent her images of the packaging that the print was shipped in to “prove” to her that it was not tampered with. I insisted that the packaging was in perfect condition and that only the print was damaged, for whatever reason. Also, I told her that there was no reason for me to think of randomly taking images of a perfectly intact package. She had no reply to that. She is now denying my refund that she promised over a month ago and is telling me to file a claim with USPS instead for tampering. First of all, I’m not going through the hassle of a usps claim for $20. Second, even if I wanted to, I don’t have any of the packaging, paperwork, or the print itself anymore which I also told her. So how on earth would I even make a claim with usps with nothing to show them? So not only did Dubmutt make me wait way longer than she promised, she is now denying the refund that she assured I would get, instead coming up with a ridiculous excuse to not to and has no concept with what I’m saying to her. Lesson learned to never close a PP case until you get the item and it’s in good condition with no other problem. I know now I am ultimately to blame because I wasn’t unaware you could open a second claim.
