About Me

  1. I do not condone any harassment against Orange-PEEL, nor do I wish any harm or ill will against them. Please do not contact them. Please know that I am not the only client of theirs that has experienced these issues. We both agreed on a total of $540 which was a maximum of 12 fully colored frames, and they included a free climax loop and free background. We also agreed to split up the payments into four different transactions. First payment was sent Jun 16 2020 and last payment was sent Jul 7 2020. I had paid up to $405. The last message I received was Aug 6 2020 until Feb 28 2021. Before that time, any attempt to contact them through Twitter, Email, and their Patreon went unanswered, despite Patreon being their only active platform making monthly updates. I became their Patreon for $1 a month just so maybe I could find out what was going on and as another means to contact them. I didn't learn much other than it sounded like they were busy with other animations, and occasional issues would come up. I only learned from someone else that they have been dealing with lots of personal issues that I will keep private. Orange-PEEL responded to my DMs on Patreon Feb 28 2021 giving an update on the commission and saying they were working on a more detailed message that I would receive soon. That was the last time I heard from them. I initially contacted Orange-PEEL Jun 10th 2020 on their Twitter. I was a bit skeptical because their account had been inactive for a year at this point, but to my surprise they replied within the hour. After sharing some references they went on to give me the final prices. I sent some more references and details while getting ready for the first payment. They followed up shortly after with an update on the commission. They gave another update and I paid the second half. After this a few messages about the details were exchanged before they stopped responding. I then decided to try and reach them outside of Twitter, and this is when I became a Patreon of theirs. I wasn't able to receive any refund from PayPal due to how much time had passed and sending the money as a close friend/family. I know, bad mistake. Progress was being made so quickly that I didn't think I had any reason to worry. They didn't respond to any comments or DMs on Patreon, even when I sent them minutes after an update. The only thing I would receive on their Patreon were rewards sent out through DMs, which felt like a slap in the face. Eventually they responded on Feb 28. I was happy to hear from them and was looking forward to finishing this up. Never received a more detailed message, just more reward DMs. At this point I want a full refund but I don't think that'll happen. I understand some of the things that Orange-PEEL is going through, but their lack of communication has been very upsetting especially with the amount of money involved. What irks me is how regular they are on Patreon but neglects me as their client (and others) who's spent top dollar. I believe they are overloaded with work and anxiety, but I don't think that's an excuse to treat a client this way. I hope they are doing well now, and wish for the best out of this situation. Thanks for your time!
  2. Caudle does not create art pieces, instead he creates audios that feature a variety of kinks. Things like hypnosis, vore, coiling and the like. He writes the script, creates the sounds, and hires a voice actor for it. He mostly creates audios for purchase on his store at Sibylline Sounds, but he also offers custom audios of your character. I commed him to get a vore audio of one of my characters. I sent in an application and he responded the same day confirming the details and giving a deadline of 2-3 weeks. (Some of the email correspondence will have weird formatting. This is because I deleted them from my inbox and had to find them in my sent mail. Also, I censored his email, because while it is the official email for his store, I wanted to be cautious.) I confirmed the details and paid the invoice. After about a month with no updates I contacted him asking for an update and was told there were some delays and I would have a script to approve that week. I was never sent a script, so I waited a couple of weeks. After not hearing anything I contacted him again at the end of May asking for another update. He apologized for the delay and told me he would send a script soon. Which I never received. After this I held off from requesting updates for a couple of months thinking that the pandemic and things going on in his personal life were probably taking precedence. In December of 2020 I sent another email asking for an update, but got no response. Finally near the end of January 2021 he contacted me and gave a short update, including a small draft of the script. I was told that it should be finished sometime in early February. Never got contacted in February, so I waited a couple months and sent a request for an update in April, but got no response. Later on in the beginning of June I sent another email asking for a response. He replied back, saying the delay was because the voice actor he wanted to use was not responding to any of his messages. He offered a refund, but I declined because I really do want this audio. I asked to be kept informed about the status of the audio and he agreed to send me updates every week. After a couple of weeks of not getting any updates I sent an email asking if he had any luck finding new voice actors. He replied that he had and sent me some demo reels of a couple of actors. A couple of days later I asked for an update on the script and he replied that he made some progress on it, but was having writer's block and asked for suggestions for other scenarios. That is the last correspondence between us. I still really do want this audio, his work is amazing. I understand that creating an audio is more complex than general art. I do understand that delays and IRL stuff do happen. I just wish he were more communicative about that. If delays happen I want to be informed and if I deadline is missed I want to be contacted about it instead of me having to contact him.
  3. Contacted user on June 9, 2020 about an Overwatch YCH for $60 (original submission has been deleted). Payment receipt: Did not hear from Rose for close to two months and checked their page in late August 2020 and found a journal about refunding commissions due to technical difficulties and contacted them, at which point they agreed to add me to their refund queue: Did not hear from them again and noted a second time on November 8, 2020 about the refund agreement above: Once again, no further contact after this. Sent a third message in January 11, 2021 which has not been read: Sent another message June 2, 2021 which so far has also been left unread: User is currently still actively posting to FA, just want to put this out there to make sure no one else ends up in the same boat as me.
  4. The 5th of June, 2019, I approached BrokenVocaloid on the subject of attaining a YCH of theirs called the "Prison YCH" replying to the post directly and asking them if I could send my own reference sheet via the notes system which was agreed upon. (First picture) And on the same day, I sent the payment which was accepted. (Second picture) Around that time, BrokenVocaloid was going through lots of stress, stating said stress through journals, and expressing their frustrations through art, explaining their situation and saying about how their rent was the main reason behind the delays in art. About a month later, Jul 19th, 2019, I sent her a note, asking if it had been done as of yet. At the time I was very timid, and felt bad for asking, even though it'd been a month in which I hadn't received any WIPs or as such, messages. I got a reply back from them with the following. (Third picture) So, I waited a little longer. As I said, I was quite timid, and felt bad about sending that one message, so I decided to give BrokenVocaloid some space, and forgot about it... ...Until I realised how long it had been since I had heard anything. (Fourth picture) September 4th, 2020. I like to think I'm pretty patient, but there is a limit. I constructed a message, and sent it off asking if there were any updates. What followed was a conversation that started with them saying they would check to see if my commission was done. September 13th, 2020. I personally looked through their gallery, making sure to double check it for my promised piece, and could not find it. I waited a little longer as I felt I might be harrassing them and did not want to cause drama or more stress. So I... Waited another month. October 11th, 2020 To which I asked if they'd found it, to which they replied, explaining they were very busy with work. (Fifth picture) And as the naive, timid person I am, afraid of making them angry, I refrained from messaging them, which I regret. Because it now brings us to the present day. April 27th, 2021 I asked if there were any updates regarding the commission. Waiting two years now, I was starting to realise I would probably never receive the artwork, but decided to persist. (Sixth picture) They told me they were still trying to get a lot finished up. This time I didn't wait a month, or leave it for longer, I messaged them a few days later asking if they had made a start, or finished it. (Seventh picture) Which takes us now to June 26th, 2021. BrokenVocaloid explains that they had been fighting with the mods and in parenthesis, "again", but did not elaborate. They said they would be sending it out tomorrow, and thanked me for their patience. Jun 29, 2021 - Jun 30, 2021 (Eighth & Ninth picture) Pretty much explains the rest of it. They did not deliver. They did not finish it. I haven't received a single WIP which makes me question if they ever even made a start on it. I understand that I made a lot of mistakes during this communication. I could have gotten a refund back, I should have acted upon that. I made the mistake of trusting BrokenVocaloid. I had commissioned her before, so I believed that it would've been fine, wanted to be understanding and friendly as to not put her under pressure. I apply the same to any other artists; It takes time to create art, and I'm willing to wait. But there is a limit to that patience, and at that point I feel more hurt that they keep attempting to keep the charade going of getting my commission done, than just telling me the truth and that they've not made any progress on it at all. Trying to go back to the original post is in error, due to the YCH being removed by BrokenVocaloid at an unknown time, to which I provided proof for that. (Tenth picture) My last word on the subject is that I'd recommend you don't buy from this artist... Even if you have a lot of patience, it's not worth it.
  5. I paid for a full body piece of Blazing Ifrit's commission which happened in June of last year. I was happy that he was sending me WIPs of my commission but I noticed he started taking other commissions as well which he hasn't fulfilled mine yet. When I asked him why the commission wasn't finished yet, he basically said that he was having a difficult time with his friend (or sister) with their suicidal thoughts. I cut him slack because he was going through a hard time. After a couple months , I poked him seeing how he was and if there was any progress at all. He gave me one more WIP on FurAffinity but after that, he hasn't been giving me updates or WIPs at all. Today, I asked him if I could get a refund and waiting to hear back from him. This artist should be avoided due to their lack of communication and lack of service.
  6. Our agreement was that the artist was gonna do a half body commission back in June of 2017. And after we have discussed details and I sent the details over to them, they acknowledged that everything was filled out correctly and payment will be sent shortly. After I have sent the payment, they acknowledged that they received the payment from me saying that they'll start working on the commission. Since then, I have received no updates from them regarding my commission and have emailed them multiple times but I still have gotten no response. I was infuriated at this point. It irks me that I was given no WIPs and no updates after I responded to her email after email. Along with this artist beware post I have posted pictures as proof of our conversations.
  7. - At TFF I commissioned Onnanoko to create an articulated badge. The price for the badge was $100, $50 of which was paid up front. The original plan was for me to pick up the badge at BLFC 2020. When BLFC 2020 was canceled I said that I would pay for the badge to be shipped. Onnanoko replied, 'that is very kind of you, thank you ^^' That was April 19, 2020. 14 months ago. That was the last message I received from her. Since then I have sent a series of follow ups, none of which have even been read. She has not responded to a single request, despite visibly logging on Telegram multiple times. I am out $50. -
  8. I commissioned Bianca for a half body pin up back in Aug 2019 I replied saying I'd sent the payment, then didn't get any response from them whatsoever Proof of payment: A few weeks went by and I hadn't gotten any updates, never got a response to me confirming payment, so I messaged them on twitter as they'd said they'd contact me through there. No response. I sent them and email, and then attempted through twitter again as I was still not getting a reply from them. Once I said I might ask for a refund, they finally decided to reply to me. They said they'd send me an update, and did so later. They also said they just had to clean it up. Again, months went by without hearing from them again at all. I was at a bit of a loss at this point, and seeing them constantly offer commissions and freebies on their twitter had me feeling some sort of way, so I replied to one of their tweets They DMd me and I decided to give them the option to refund me as I wasn't sure exactly what the issue was with them being unable to finish my commission. They said they'd get back to me, but as expected, they never did. After this, it's just the same thing with me waiting for months, then having to poke them on twitter about the commission, some times having to message them several times before getting a response. Message proof below. After this they sent me some other messages explaining the situation and saying they were having some trouble (there's some personal info that's not needed so omitting the long explanation), they also said they'd give my commission priority Since they'd explained things, I gave them a different character to draw, hoping maybe this one would be an easier thing for them to do. I was hoping for a confirmation on what they had decided to do in the end, but again, no response whatsoever for months. After this, I let it be for a long time because once again I felt at a loss about what to do. In the end I decided to ask for a refund as I felt I'd waited long enough. I haven't gotten a response, at this point I don't know what else to do other than warn other people in hopes they don't have to go through something like this, as I've pretty much given up on ever getting the art or a refund.
  9. Product (PWYW Commission) was offered as a public solicitation in a local State Telegram Chat. I was interested and contacted the seller via direct message on Telegram with inquiries. They explained that they were offering "Pay What you Want" (PWYW) commissions for sale: "just tell me what u want and a price and ill do it" to which I responded with for a $10 traditional commission request. After providing my character reference and commission details they gave me their paypal address and responded "ill get started when im on break", and "and i cant start until paid btw :)" to which I immediately paid $10 for. Up until now, all of this had occurred within one day on February 19, 2020. After I sent the payment, we had casual conversation about their fursuit and our dogs, which does not have much relevance here. My next communication with the seller was on March 10, 2020: I sent another Telegram DM "Hey there. Have you had a chance to work on the pwyw I had paid for a little bit ago?" to which they responded "no- i ned to make a trello. my commission list is so big atm xD. cuz i opened a ton of like $1 headshots". This was no big deal to me, it wasn't even a month since I purchased the commission and they seemed to have taken in a lot of other commissions at the time. On March 11, 2020 they reached out to me, "To all of my commissioners: its been super hard to keep on schedule so i have decided to make a trello 🙂 please send your ref(s) and what you purchased at your earliest convinience so i can add you to my trello, hope to satisfy you with my work soon - Connor~!" and I immediately resent my reference sheet along with the details that I paid for a $10 pwyw commission. On April 10, 2020 I sent the seller a screenshot of our previous telegram history of the initial 2/19/20 communication to which they replied "ty" On May 2, 2020 I replied to my 4/10/20 message asking "Any update on this? If you can't do it can you just refund me the $10?" to which they responded "i cant as that was my exs paypal. and he took it over" This was the last time that I spoke with the seller. To this day (Currently 06/08/21) I have gotten neither commission or a refund. In short, the seller made a solicitation in a public Telegram chat and I requested a $10 commission on 02/19/20 which I paid that day. Months went by with no commission despite me asking about it every once in awhile, and on 05/02/20 I requested a final update or a refund to which the seller said they could not do because the paypal that I sent the money to was not theirs and the actual owner locked them out. I never got a commission or a refund. Relevant images of the discussions I had with this seller and paypal transaction history are shown below. I censored out the seller's paypal address for the purpose of this posting.:
  10. Originally contacted on December 10, 2014: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6331414/#cid:43439341 Payment supplied on December 19, 2014: Originally paid for a 2 character picture, have currently been waiting almost 7 years with limit contact from the artist. Every time contact has been attempted I am either met with excuses or stories of troubling life events (Which I can understand to a degree). Although I believe I have been patient with the artist, I personally feel it is unacceptable to have taken my money and not provide any updates on what is happening. Since initial contact the artist has taken on other commission work AND finished them in a timely fashion while I am left waiting. They have also bounced around to different websites (Initial contact was on FurAffinity. They have also been spotted opening commissions through twitter in very recent times). I have managed to have recent contact with them through Telegram, and have even agreed on a different image as they had "lost" the WIP they had made for me. Agreed image would be 1 less character, so what would be regarded as an image of less cost from what I originally paid for. Since the agreement I have tried to keep in contact with the artist to attempt to make sure that there is frequent communication but have so far not even had my messages read, even though telegram states they have been active. I would have more conversation logs, however since the length of time I have waited for the artist, most of the chatlogs on FA have disappeared and Skype has become a thing of the distant past.
  11. I commissioned Coyot a year ago on Feb 8th, 2020 to draw a full body painting for $80, I tipped +$5 for a total of $85. Initially, I spoke to them through their now defunct twitter account Coyot_Tea, but they have a new and active account called Cyo0t3. I paid them promptly on Feb 8, 2020. They acknowledged payment received and that's when the delays started happening. I did ask for a refund on Feb 13, 2021, a year later, but they said they couldn't because they already started the work. They stopped responding on March 24, 2021. There seems to be several Artists Beware on their Coyot_Tea username but they made a new account under Cyo0t3. I have also tried reaching them through that account but to no avail. They are still active on Coy0t3. I received zero WIPs and have already filed a case with PayPal. It's been a year so unsure if PayPal can do anything but fingers crossed.
  12. I commissioned Angela on Furry Amino for a chibi fullbody on a base on the 4th of March 2021. The commissioned was $8. I lost the original thread of messages (their messages) since their profile was banned on Furry Amino. When a profile/account gets banned, all their messages get deleted as well. I sent payment on March 4 to Angela (payment receipt below). After a while, I try to reach ask her for more progress (if any), and whether my commission was completed yet. This was when I found out that their profile has been banned. Since their profile was banned, I tried emailing them on the PayPal email I sent the money to, but there was no response on the email (at the time). So, I asked a curator (a staff of Furry Amino) if I could take a look at their profile to see what other social media they're on, and they gave me a screenshot of their profile. I noticed that in their bio, there is a text that says "angxlavex" (the fancy text). I tried looking on different sites, and found that they are mostly active on toyhou.se, so I sent them a message. I sent her a message on 13 May, saying that she still owes me a $8 chibi. I asked her for a refund because so far, it seems like she wasn't going to complete the commission at all. 😞 She then replied (quite promptly) saying that she doesn't "have the toyhou.se usernames of everyone who had commissioned me", even though I never received any kind of contact from her (she never tried to reach out to me on my email on paypal, or literally anywhere else.. my username is 2DFIEND on every site btw). I replied, saying that surely she would have a list somewhere? And I asked for a refund, but she ghosted me, even though she already opened the message. They have opened and (I assume) read my message asking for a refund- if she hasn't opened my message, the text would be pink. I sent her another message on May 19, which basically has the same contents as the image above (asking for a refund, transaction ID and date). The message that was sent on May 19 is pink, which means she hasn't read it while the other one, she has opened it. Within the same hour of sending that message, she read my message, but still, no reply. They changed their username from angxlavex to inactiveaccont as of 18/5/2021: Update on the email as of 25/5/2021: I got a reply back on the email that was attached to the PayPal account, and I was told that Angela was not the owner of the account, and that the actual owner (the person emailing me back) has been letting Angela use it. He also told me his name (blue) and Angela's real name (pink), I blocked them all out for privacy. Proof that https://www.facebook.com/angela.vexx and https://www.facebook.com/purr.via is the same person as angxlavex on toyhou.se- the first two screenshots show that the same artwork was posted to toyhou.se within a week of each other. With the other two screenshots, angxlavex posted the EDITED version on her toyhou.se way back in February, and Purr Via used the unedited version as her profile picture on 19 May, and also has a copy of the unwatermarked image of the edited version. TLDR; I commissioned Angela, waited for 2+ months, they gave me no updates and they ended up getting banned on Furry Amino. I tried to reach out to her on toyhou.se (because she made 0 effort to try and look for me), and I asked her for her a refund but she changed her toyhou.se username, and didn't reply to my message even though she opened it. Basically, she ran away after I asked for a refund.
  13. Epilepsy warning: This usser made kidcore/webcore stuff, so lot of shiny things Okay, im kinda nervous and i hope i made this right. On September 6th, i asked NekoB0mb on their da about the prices of their customs. We come to an agreement and they give me their discord to talk about how i wanted the customs, originally they were 2. On discord i tell em i want 3 more and they agree, so i send the payment. They answered me and there wasnt any problem. I asked for updates each month, and they answered me, telling me they have exams or things like that. Agreement of two customs for 150 points each one and to pm them on discord Payment of points, it has two screen since later on discord, i tell them i wanted 3 more Description of how i wanted the customs, and kinda proof of them deleting their discord( it doesn't appear their ussername) Some months later, they desactivate their account on da, and delate their discord, thay were erasing their stuff on th. I panicked and send a message to someone they frecuently commissioned them. Who tell me they were in a difficult situation and that i didnt worry, that my comm will be make. So i waited. And time later they reactivate accounts. On ends of march i send them a message via th, and they tell me to contact them again via discord on a new one. So i did. And asked them if they have a problem with the comm they can cancel and give me a refund or that i can wait, i also asked if they had a waitlist. Contacting them after they desactivate their media and giving some time to rest, asking for update or refund if they cant do it. They answered me, they have wips of two of them. They telling me to contact them on discord to show me the wips and that. Me telling them that day and some days later i pm them. They ghost me for weeks. Time later i discovered they had instagram and i pm them about wanting a refund there sending the proof of the agreement and payment. And they continue ghosting me. They continue active on th and opening commissions on instagram and making some adopts. Me pming them about the customs and asking if they have trello/waitlist And being ghosted Contacting them on instagram, telling them that they tell me to pm them but they never answered, showing them proof it was me, and being ghosted again. Now on may, they got the last of my patience, i asked again about a refund on their the profile since they didn't answer any pm message i sent. And they erased the comment i put on their th. So some hours later i asked again telling them that please stop ghosting me, and how cynic is to make a post about being upset about being ghosted when they are doing the same. Time later two of their friends answered me with a low bad joke. Telling me they were dead/killed. I would have believe them if it wasn't by the fact that the user erased my comment and that they continually post and interacted with other commenters. Also that their kind of fun is like that inbetween them. Feel kind of immature. Contacting them on the comments for second time after the first comment was erased , telling them i wanted a refund becouse of the time with no updates and ghosting. And stuff of them accepting more comms and they need to have a better communication.
  14. Early in November someone I followed on twitter posted some art by an anonymous artist. Goopy approached me claiming she was the artist and after some back and forth I ended up commissioning her for a ref sheet totaling just over $68 USD/$85 CAD. Sadly my twitter account has been suspended so the initial conversation has been lost. During the first few days after payment she was actually quick with responses and actually proved a few WiPs, even giving some insight on changing some character details This was the last update on the order since I paid her A while later and after a bit of small talk I bring it up with her again as it's been a four months at this point. She was facing some personal issues at the time which I excused believing it would be resolved in time. Two more months pass by and yet again I ask if there has been any progress since then, I get yet another reasoning as to why she hasn't been working on it with an issue that I would have thought could have been resolved by the next day After that I was getting a bit frustrated and just decided to ask for a refund, she's since then still hasn't replied to me. What's even more aggravating is knowing she's doing fine and well, as she's been streaming on twitch up to 5 hours a day on some days. Mod note: Twitch cap removed because it was difficult to read and too large. But it was here. At the current time of this it's been six months since I've paid her, and I can no longer go through paypal to dispute the charge. I know there's another beware of this artist here already and really just hoping more people can be aware before she starts accepting more money from people.
  15. On January 19th, 2021, guppygoopy advertised five slots for iPad sketches for an uncolored $15 through Ko-fi tips/donations. As instructed, I donated through her Ko-fi with my username and left my DMs open for her. From reviews and her activity, I didn't think of the consequences of commissioning through donations as it was a simple commission that could've been delivered right away. Once the payment was completed, she contacted me through DMs. As brief as it was, her replies were quick and simple. After that last message, the conversation ended and I assumed that would mean she was going to start on my commission. Around February and March, guppygoopy took a hiatus. As far as I know, no formal announcement was made on social media. I was not messaged about the hiatus either. After a few months of waiting without any progress, seeing her active on social media again, I asked her about the progress of my commission on April 1st, 2021. The message was left unread. I asked again on April 22nd, 2021. That message was also left unread. During that time, guppygoopy was active on her profile to announce Twitch gaming streams and post doodles for friends and outside of commission works. On April 30th, 2021, I wrote another message to her requesting either a refund or for her to communicate with me. I included my feelings about being ignored when expecting a product from her. The message was left unread. As of April 29th, 2021, guppygoopy has been inactive on her profile. I have no other way of contacting her; she has a Discord that isn't made public where she appears to be much more active and her Ko-fi is bustling with donations. As of writing this, she is currently live on Twitch as well. I am beyond frustrated at this point. The least I want from her is communication or my money back.
  16. Contacted the Artist on the date of August 25th 2019 after seeing them advertise in a Dealer Den group on Telegram. Commissioned from them an Icon and a Sketch. After talking about the commissions for a short while I payed them. The next month they told me they were going through personal stuff and thus they've been radio silent. They said it'd be done by the following Sunday and thanked me for my patience. That was the last time I'd hear from them. For the next few months all the way to April of 2020 I would message them to try to get some form of update from them. On Feb 9th 2020 I sent them a message asking for any kind of update and that I'd be fine with the wait so long as they gave me anything. On April 16th 2020 I've had my last straw and sent them a lengthy post telling them that the ghosting was unacceptable and that I'd be reporting them to the telegram group I saw them on originally. Months later they deleted their Telegram completely. Their FA hasn't had a post in a year and their Twitter is Private. Chat logs will be posted as photos however with their real name blacked out. A final attempt was made to contact the artist again on May 15th on the email address specified plainly on their FA account and the artist has not responded, since.
  17. March 2nd, 2020 SP and I were on VC when a question came up, as seen in the screenshot. Curious, SP made a sketch and shared it with me. Immediately, I jumped on it, offering money as first dibs. There wasn't an addition or edit for the design commission. Throughout this transaction, I did not ask for updates, as I trusted them enough to uphold their end of the deal considering they were a friend to me. Question Concept May 14, 2020 - 2 months from the start I sent them money to help out and thus, the design became labeled as "Sam Bait". Payment July 25th, 2020 - 3 months from the start I received a second update. WIP January 6th, 2021 - 10 months from the start I inquired about the design comm. They responded they had told me through one of our VC sessions they might have accidentally deleted the file. This, of course, made me upset. But they reassured me they'll restart the design and go deep diving for the WIPs they sent me as there were thousands of images to go through, as we nearly spoke every day. Inquiry February 24th, 2021 - 11 months from the start It turns out they renamed the file. Further discussion of the idea occurred. Last "Talk" May 1st, 2021 - (14 months from the start) I sent them a message regarding the design and having no desire of wanting it anymore. What led to my decision was the fact they had finished multiple comms that were accepted AFTER my purchase for the design and FINISHED before the completion. One given example is this: Trello: https://trello.com/c/JidbFFqZ Cancellation In conclusion, as a client, I'm thoroughly upset. Please, take caution when commissioning synthpolice. Having quality art does not equate to quality services. [Mod Edit]: After asking the client about a refund policy after the last pic, they responded that the artist has a "no refunds if the client cancels" clause. The artist has not contacted them since.
  18. Pretty simple, Ryun opened for $25 sketches, I claimed a slot, then we negotiated the price (I asked for something with an outfit/props and that raised the price to $30) and I never received it. I would attach the original tweet she posted, but she's since deleted it and my reply doesn't make sense without the context. This is the entirety of our conversation together, including a smaller screencap for the latest message due to the fuzzy date format. Then here's the proof that I paid her on June 20, 2019: At this point I have no confidence that she will ever get back to me, or that I will receive my art. She either straight-up ignores you or gives you the run-around. I know $30 doesn't seem like a lot of money, but I still paid for a service I'll likely never get. Also note that she changes her username a lot, and has her read receipts turned off on Twitter. Goes without saying, but I can't recommend purchasing from her.
  19. Hello, TL;DR: ChubbyCappie is keeping me on the hook for a $45 for five months with minimal communication and no proof of progress. ---- I never wanted to make a beware for any artist, but given the circumstances and the outcome at this point, my hand has been forced. It may not even be totally relevant for the future since they don't seem to be taking commissions outwardly anymore, but this was still a very poor experience, and warrants a beware as it is the only option I have at this point. For context, I have previously commissioned CC before (mid Sept of 2020) and was very happy with the result, not to mention receiving it within three days of me paying/first contacting. I didn't expect this to be any different, except for the fact I've now waited five months and have had minimal communication (all of which was from me to them; they never reached out to me first). ---- On November 24th, 2020, I contacted CC for another commission idea I had. I received a response the following day and sent my information to them, and I paid the invoice that day. Proof of payment (they don't have their name publicly available afaik so I censored it): Some time passes, it's now December 12th, and I haven't heard anything, so I reach out to them. I get a response on Dec 20th, and they ask for proof of payment, so I send it to them (censoring URL as it has the above screenshot but with less censored): This is the last time I heard from ChubbyCappie for months. Mid February of 2021 rolls around and I'm now getting frustrated. I responded to the last message they sent me (I hadn't received any others): I receive no response, so in mid March, I send an email to their PayPal email letting them know I'm still waiting and giving them the necessary information. The screenshot cuts off the full text, so I'll include it here, minus the image information. Hi, I paid you back on Nov 25, 2020 for a commission. The information is on Furaffinity. You’ve been silent on there but I follow your Twitter and have seen you active there. I’m wondering if I’m going to get my commission, or if that’s not possible, then I’d like to receive a refund. For simplicity’s sake, I’m going to include all relevant information here. I received no response and initiated a chargeback, and finally I received a response. SIDE NOTE: I learned too late to NEVER withdraw the claim, even if the artist asks (I was aware it couldn't be reopened but did it anyway), and that is on me, I know. Unfortunately, I did so, hence why I'm writing this beware, since I already made the mistake. Yes I'm still beating myself up for it. And no, I'm not happy that they asked me to cancel it. They may not realize that that's bad form, but still. The last time I heard from ChubbyCappie was April 7th, 2021. (link is NSFW so I censored it; the pose I wanted is only suggestive, and there is no NSFW detail in the original links so I didn't censor them) Now at the end of April and at my wits' end, I sent them this as a note and email, and then followed with the addendum note/email. They have not seen either yet on FA. Some people might think I didn't wait long enough after sending my final heads up before writing this, but consider: I've already been waiting five months I've been struggling to remain in contact Everyone I've vented to about this told me they wouldn't have waited this long I haven't seen a single WIP or any proof they've started on my commission I am a very patient, understanding client. I don't mind if people have delays, I understand internet issues. But given their recent activity on their other accounts, the lack of communication is completely unacceptable and honestly insulting, and I will only wait so long. ---- Conclusion: I feel awful that I closed the claim and should have either accepted a refund if they didn't want to deal with the limited time frame or done whatever else would have happened. I'm accepting that I will probably just have to bite the bullet on this one and accept the loss of $45, since while I don't believe at all that ChubbyCappie was out to scam me, they did. And that's unacceptable. They continue to be active on YouTube and Twitter and have gone inactive on their FurAffinity, so my only hope is that they catch wind that there is a beware on them and find a way to right this wrong, and I will gladly mark it resolved and move on with no lasting ill-will towards them. Thank you for reading. I hope something comes from this, but at this point, I don't know.
  20. I had originally commissioned them due to a recommendation from a friend for a partial fursuit for $500 and later on added sleeves for an additional $150 and another additional $50 for extra work needed for a total of $700. The commission was originally set for a FC'20 completion date. This was later pushed back to due supposed health concerns. This was consistently used as an excuse to push back the completion date to which there wasn't an actual set date. I had sent another telegram message to them back in August 2020 for a reminder (which had stayed unread) but deleted when I had posted those last 3 lines. I sent her those messages in hopes that she would do some work and at least just get a head since it would be less work than a partial but she has completely ghosted me. She had been consistently taking on other commissions while her backlog was increasing. She has deleted her "commissions" channel from Telegram as well which I was unfortunately unable to get the chat log from.
  21. Around the end of August 2020 I made a post in a facebook group for Custom Plushies asking to commission a plush maker for a plush of a character from the show Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go. One of the makers that approached me was a UK-based maker named Sona Simkova. On the post I asked them to send me a direct message with examples of their work. After they sent examples, I asked Sona if they had any social media accounts and this was their response. This is why they are referred to with their full name, as it is the only thing available ("Ockolapka" is from their public facebook page's URL). I agreed to commission them and on September 2nd 2020 I sent them payment via PayPal. Once the payment was given, I would message them every 1-2 months requesting updates on my commission. Being an artist myself, I'm more than understanding of how much time and work goes into making plushies so I never rushed them. In the beginning their responses seemed pretty normal delay responses. Now this I thought was slightly odd as they never mentioned before that my commission was in a queue, but I did tell them I was in no rush so I was understanding and let it go. Here is where I started to get worried. COVID-19 is no joke and of course if they did contract the virus I would want them to take it easy, but at the same time it started to get weirder and weirder that Sona was feeding me excuse after excuse. But I didn't want to think badly of them for it; I hated the idea of accusing them of being a liar during a deadly pandemic. However, this was also the start of their delayed responses, and I was started to get seriously annoyed that I was the only one initiating conversation. As you've seen in the previous responses, I had gotten a few "I forgot to tell you"s, so really I should've been a lot more suspicious much earlier on (Word is censored from their message because they put my last name). So once again I got radio silence, and it's getting close to me needed to move out of my current apartment so now I really needed my commission to be done sooner. At the same time I started to realize I might not even GET my commission, so I decided to twist the knife and see what happens. Unfortunately my fears were true. As you can see in my second response, Sona's facebook icon is next to it indicating they've seen the messages. They have now proceeded to ghost me and has not responded to my messages since. I reached out to one of the mods of the Plush facebook group about them and this was the response. Sona appears to be attempting to disappear, and has ran off with my money. I cannot open a dispute on Paypal because it's past their 180 day limit (which I will admit is on me for not keeping track on dates).
  22. Beware of this person, they silently return money, so if u not checking your emails so often - YOU CAN LOSE YOUR MONEY after one week he\she requested money back. (March 28) I don't know how to find any other their accounts, but I have their email. (IDK if it is fine to put here emails, so I will not??) He\she bought the adopt from me [proof 2] and then silently request money back, but my rules saying "no refunds" [proof 1]. Then, it was my bad, because I am not usually checking my email, so I lost too much time to argument the request. [proof 3] wolear - old account which one was deleted after purchasing the adoptable yaawween - their fake (I guess) account Proofs: [proof 1] [proof 2] [proof 3]
  23. In July of 2017 I attempted to purchase a fursuit from Lucky Gum Fursuits (see originalpurchase1edited.png and originalpurchase2edited.png). After a few years of waiting I asked for the refund that was promised in their terms of service. The buyer agreed to the refund and promised to pay me back every month until I got $1515 promised to me (see promisedrefund1edited.png and promisedrefund2edited.png). However I have not received any of the payments. I have made several attempts to contact the buyer again to work with them personally on how to best resolve the issue (see twittercommunication.png and attemptedfurthercommunicationyahooedited.png) but they have yet to contact me back.
  24. I was part of an auction of UtikaBu the auction is still here and his comment on winning. I won the auction on 25. Oct 2020 After this we exchanged our discord tags to talk about details there. We agreed to add some clothes to the picture wich would increase the price by 20 $ The artist was active and was slowly getting trough his queue all fine from this point so far. After some time he stopped posting stuff on FA and/or Twitter. This is where the silence began. After roughly 4 months I asked him for an update on his queue on 06. Feb. 2021. Sadly no response I waited and another month pasted and I sended him a note on FA on 15. Mar. 2021 Wich is still unread to this day I also wrote an email to his email address that is behind his paypal account he uses, wich reminds to look into the notes and discord messages. (Also no response yet)
  25. I originally contacted Furfancy for a fursuit as of Sept 14, 2019. They provided me the link to their website and we continued with conversation from screenshot1.jpg: We had discussed the details and around December I made the initial payment for my partial fursuit for $2000 and the start date to begin working on the suit around the end of 2020. After December, I started making payments via Paypal. Thankfully, I requested a written contract on Jan 2, 2020. The contract was created and signed. (Not provided since it contains personal information of both client and seller) Aside from the occassional late response, things went fairly smoothly as I continued making payments. It wasn't until September that I started seeing some big red flags. I'll also note that in the contract provided, there was a 1-4 day window for communication which I thought was fairly reasonable. Going forward on this beware, it was mostly the lack of communication that resulted in me wishing to end this contract. On September 18, 2020, I sent the following message on telegram: At this point, the lack of communication was already becoming an issue. This was something that I tried to contact her on so that we could continue working around this but kept getting worse as things went on. Throughout this process, other commissioners were having the same experience as me and were backing out. On top of the fact that she was so far behind deadline and also the lack of communication, I was (and still am) worried that she has no intention of really completing my fursuit. Despite no work being done on the suit and breaking her own terms on her contract, she never offered me a full refund, and when I requested one eventually, she said that she could not provide a full refund. My initial $400 payment was non-refundable. If any work was done on the project or parts were already purchased, I may have understood. However, at this point, we are already a year after the initial request to commission a fursuit. There was no work completed and still 20 people in the queue before me which meant I would need to wait approximately another two years before she could even start working on my fursuit. At this time, I had also joined her group chat which I will not provide screenshots of since Victoria largely provides updates via voice messages. Every update that was provided has been about personal problems and why she needs to extend her deadlines for all of her clients. These were the only updates that were provided for approximately a year. I can sympethize with these problems. However, I paid $2000 for a commission. This means that I'm working with a company to provide me with a product. I understand that roadblocks occur, but at no point of the process did Victoria hold any accountability or responsibililty. This screenshot is from September 22, 2020. Please keep that in mind while you look at the next screenshot from October 2, 2020. This last screenshot I found out that she had apparently purchased my furs apparently months ago and didn't bother to inform me. "If a charge back is made, I'm going to assume you no longer want the slot. If you are backing out 35% is non refundable." If the communication up to this point was a red flag, then threatening me for 35% of what I paid so that I can guarantee I don't get screwed through this process should be just straight up illegal. At this point, I managed to call her. Only after a full year, did she share her trello board with me. I contacted her asking her to update her contract for a deadline and a full refund if she did not complete the fursuit by August 1, 2021. After signing the new contract, we stopped communicating for a while. Then we pick back up in February. At this point, this brings us up to where we are currently in the discussion and I'm mentally checked out of this whole process. I just want my full refund so I can move on with my life. I was really looking forward to commissioning my first fursuit and now I'm not sure if I want one anymore. Victoria has completely ruined the idea of fursuiting for me at this point.
