About Me

  1. They seem to have emptied their FA gallery as well, to hide I can only assume. Their DA; https://www.deviantart.com/fantasystaples And Toyhou.se; https://toyhou.se/fantasystaples
  2. Honestly, my advice for the future is always take payment upfront. Now that you have paypal, that should be much easier tho. As for the commissioner them self, there's not much you can do besides warn others. Have you considered selling the design as an adopt design? It may recoup some of the lost money for your efforts, and if they haven't paid you by now it's their own loss for it.
  3. Cknsausage is correct. You can pull the character from them and resell it/ retrade it at any time. Especially if they're going to ignore you on this trade.
  4. They owe me money too. I feel like I will never see it again, and my cases got denied by Paypal. I am like SICK with stress over this...
  5. Nope. I still have no response, nor has my note been read. At this point I'm kicking myself and should have forced the refund when I had the Paypal protection period, but lesson learned.
  6. Wow, comparing the example and piece they gave you, it really looks like they rushed your piece. Did they ever respond to your message about the quality? Honestly, the two look like they came from completely different artists of different skill levels. For that price tag, you'd think they could at least color in the lines correctly.
  7. Unfortunately I'm well past the PayPal refund request period for the invoice. Which is why this is all happening. The invoice was fully paid off in August 2018. So I don't see it helping much. I have had contact with Finley stating that a refund is forthcoming. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see if that's actually the case.
  8. they were not afraid to lie to paypal, and i took the screenshots of our conversations as proof, which i can give to you if you need it as evidence for yourself, assuming you can give me your telegram to send the images
  9. I made an account just to say, I've had this exact issue with this exact maker before, around this time last year. I wanted a suit done for a convention, and they kept delaying for whatever reason they felt like week after week, until i issued a paypal refund request.
  10. I am really confused by what "offered a bit of a refund" means. Is that an offer of a partial refund for the wait while still finishing the piece or is it only a partial refund with nothing else? And how much is "a bit"? 20%? 50%? 10%?
  11. I sincerely hope, for your sake, that if they finish the commission, that it isn't rushed at all. For three plus years, that better be a quality product coming out of them because anything less is going to reflect poorly on them and their existing queue.
  12. Good on you for standing your ground on this matter! I believe someone else on the cross-post you made via Toyhouse suggested going to the bank about being able to get your refund that way? It might be a bit tough, but if you have a clear record of the money sent to them for your unfulfilled commission, I believe you'd be able to speak to your bank to get the charge reversed? Though that's a bit more legwork, but it's a possibility and not a bad idea to look for any avenue you can to get what you're owed either way.
  13. If you ever showed them a digital version it may be they just printed off their own and just ghosted you.
  14. I can unfortunately verify with my own personal experience with Harpbeats/WolframKyo, as I took a $40 flat-color bust commission from her in February 2018, and was not fully refunded for it until September 2018. Unfortunately, the emails I had with her have long since been cleared out of my Gmail account, but I can verify much of your problems personally with my own. Same exact problems too, such as... Long queue that is never directly shown until after it's asked for. Queue isn't updated promptly upon taking new commissions New commissions sitting for months past promised Lack of prompt communication Taking MORE commissions onto her already long queue Suspicious regularity in financial troubles, immediately followed by adding more commissions onto the queue. My commission was one in over a hundred on her Trello during the year of 2018. Several of my friends who were earlier in the queue didn't even receive theirs until long after I'd been refunded for mine. Interesting that she now has a "no refund" policy. That wasn't the case in 2018. I would highly suggest avoiding WolframKyo like the plague. She's either incredibly negligent in her management of her own pace, or at worst, she's deliberately being deceptive about her commissions.
  15. Always a massive red-flag to ask for money as 'friends and family'. I think you lose buyer protection doing that. Hope you get your money back, that's a sizeable chunk!
  16. Howdy. The artist has attempted to post to this beware, but their comments were reserved for rule violations. (Rule 5) They have also been banned for legal threats against the OP and us. OP- spamming the link to this beware on the artist's pages is not condoned by us. In addition, it is against the ToS of many sites. While we understand that you want to spread the word about your experience, it isn't a good thing to harass others or get banned for harassment on other sites.
  17. Update from Wolframkyo. Hopefully this is progress and it is finished soon! ^_^
  18. Wow...Another one? Xhybora has been giving me and at least two people I know this runaround as well. He did give me a partial refund, but he said he couldn't give any more when I asked to simply cancel mine because I was tired of all the empty promises for updates. I sure hope we can figure out a way to get this straightened out.
  19. Goodness, this is indeed laughable coming from the commissioner. You've nailed every point about their imaginary "ToS", which is something I have never heard a commissioner have before. That is equivalent to me going to a store, canceling what I was about to buy, and telling the cashier, "Hey, don't let anybody buy that ok? If they do, I'm calling the police because they're stealing it." Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go to lunch with my boss, the CEO of Microsoft. I promised I'll pay his way since he's short on cash today.
  20. So I checked my telegram. The chat is still there and still open. She goes by KittenNya on Telegram.
  21. I'm honestly surprised it took this long for her to earn a beware given that when I ordered my commission in 2014 she was also having issues with keeping her queue in check. While she has made excellent strides in dealing with it in the past, it doesn't seem to ever significantly get better. Unfortunately, I've unwatched her since she adopted a "no refunds" policy and defended it despite it being highly unethical.
  22. Googling their name comes up with these; https://www.redbubble.com/people/caninevomit https://steamcommunity.com/id/Caninevomit Goolging their name comes up with " transformice user Caninevomit" on a lot of art. I have no idea if thats a site, or a roleplay or what, but you can look in to it and see if theyre active there. This is googles cache of their trello saying they quit Amino -
  23. Yeah, except after they left Instagram they were still kinda on DeviantArt ONLY until i tried contacting them there. They also still have a couple other profiles on other websites too but they haven't posted anything in the last year or so and I doubt they even check them anymore.
  24. Also, I should mention that they used for their PayPal is invalid as well, as the custom domain it used is no longer registered. I attempted to contact them using this email as well and the delivery failed. (I would've added this in the original post but thought I deleted the email showing the delivery failure)
  25. I just don't understand his point of view. He's selling the character, why would he want to buy more art? Then got hostile when his money was given back. Most of the stories you read is artists keeping the money, but you followed correct business etiquette. Trunch you did the right thing and posting this negative experience to AB was a good call too. Also, he posted an 8ch link, lol. I hope he complains about you, more publicity for people who think this guy is a joke. I originally found you on 8ch many years ago (when I used it), we actually had a nice conversation. Weird to think that some peeps on the site turned on you for differing opinions. Sure you're vocal, but no one deserves to be doxxed for it, or even attempted to be doxxed
