I contacted them after reading this. I was informed that until the dispute is resolved with the bank we are unable to do anything and unfortunately paypal is unable to expedite the process since it is through the bank. Time frame is 30-75 days depending on the steps paypal needs to take. Looks like I'm in for a long haul run. If the charge-back is not decided in my favor I will contact paypal again to see if they are able to help me further, but until them it looks like here I sit. lol. Thanks again.

Also please note that since this is a chargeback, not a claim, you will be hit with the $20 fee once it goes through. Unfortunately, when there are two users of the account your chances of winning are zero, as it's likely been listed as fraud by the guardian. Regardless of what payment processor you used, the banks will always resolve unauthorized use in favor of the account holder. But definitely gather everything, and call paypal. Do not use their automated system. At the very least they can resolve the $20 fee, but there have been instances of them eating the chargeback entirely.

I agree. My speculation is based on the e-mail being the clients and the paypal accounts main e-mail being the guardians.

I'm somewhat not surprised considering i've read quite a bit of very questionable stuff from that site itself considering there been scams and plagiarism on there.

Yes she removed it after I noted her via FA asking her to take it down, as she no longer owns the character because of the charge back. She wants to buy it back but I refuse to resell to her, as I do not want to worry about ANOTHER charge back later on down the line. I'm not sure who that person is that posted her, I do not even have a Twitter lol. But I know lots of people find art/characters and post them as their own, all perks of posting things online *sigh*

Glad it was resolved! I commissioned them way back and the turn out was fairly quick. A friend did point out to me though that a lot of people have been questioning the whereabouts of their commissions via comments on Reykat's DA. I hope this doesn't become a regular for them.
-
Once I get paid back I will happily post this as resolved and cut ties with you. I have not been rude, I have simply been straight forward as you (or the bank that you had no right to use) took money from me for no reason.

Just wanted to update this beware - I was able to contact REYKAT on their Tumblr and I have now received my art!

I want to note that this kind of information is against the submission guidelines as we aren't here to speculate on people's financial situations. However, given this is an issue with chargebacks there will be an exemption. The money chargebacked went somewhere. Edit: and this furthers my theory she was using a CC she shouldn't have had access to if she has to repay the money slowly.

They're only fixing the tail, and the zipper. There not fixing the seems at the rear of the head, or any of the other issues. Image:

Actually I feel like it's gone backwards. They didn't tell me what they were fixing they just said they were fixing something, and then shipping it. I have no idea whats happening. >.< Kinda feel like there gonna shove it down my throat regardless of whether its fixed.

ITT: People defending awful work. Also, I thought this part of Lemonbrat's defense was pretty funny: Sorry, what? If this is what Lemonbrat considers an average sample of their suits, then I dread to think what they would consider a 'botched' suit. Because this is a budget suit AT BEST. Not worth 3.6k. The head looks nothing like a feline base and as 'professionals' Lemonbrat should have known that fur would not magically make the head into a feline's. This one spins me out a bit because it's so obvious.

Hiya Lemonbrat! Your comment will be approved shortly, but I'm publicly stating I am going to edit it to fix the link as it's not clickable. Edit: Fixed link and font color, but the formatting is being finicky.

thats fine, but the issue only cropped up recently they state on twitter and in gofund me the problem occured in 2018.
-
Dont forget the very uneven nose and two diffrent sized ears.
-
The profile still looks like a rodent head, this is truly appalling. And the thing is that the suits on their site are decent, you'd expect so much higher quality than what this commissioner received. I can't get over how badly attached the tail is.
-
Found the front view twitter and is it just me or is the muzzle crooked
-
I see they haven't sent a pic of the front of the suit, only the back..and with the way the back looks....I'm a bit worried.
-
Hiya please toss me proof of this in PM, and I can tack it onto your post!
-
Oh no.... 😞 I am so sorry to hear that, that also means I am next to hear the same thing. Definitely try to call and talk to someone, update us after please! ♥

I will try to call them tomorrow. But for now I have a bigger issue. Now it says that I owe them 43,27 dollars instead of 23,27 like before. I have no clue what is happening and why it's happening. I only made one transaction with that guy.

Update! PayPal decided that I do not deserve to get my money back even though I sent them proofs of me sending my PayPal to Fytch and screenshots of Fytch admitting that the payment for commission has been sent. Thanks PayPal.

Agreed. I reported it but the site waved me off and said they do not involve themselves in the middle of things like this.....
-
I know it was sent as goods, but your message to them clearly says to not send payment as goods/services. If it was to avoid paypal fees, you're going to get yourself and others in trouble since that is STRICTLY against their TOS; its a minor fee which is the cost of essentially keeping the service free to use. The beware is absolutely valid, I am not disputing that at all. But it is an extremely poor business practice to expect to be paid for goods via the gifting option.
