  1. I contacted Mawbyte on Twitter after seeing an ad on their Twitter for page dolls. The page dolls were $30. I messaged them with my reference sheet asking if I could get one and they sent me a message saying they would take me but needed to add a $20 complexity fee. I found this a bit strange since my character is pretty simple but agreed anyways. Here is a picture of the reference sheet: (Image is much larger but keeps getting shrunk on here) The initial conversation for the transaction: An invoice was sent for $50. I added a $10 tip for the artist and was given the link to the Trello where I could track my commission. I was told I could contact them if I wanted any changes to be made or if I wanted anything added or removed. Invoice: Conversation about the invoice, what to do if I wanted edits and the trello information given: Me asking for clarification on what the complexity fee was for: I heard nothing from them again until 12/14/2021. Upon opening my commission I realized that even though it is a very clear reference sheet my character was missing half of their markings. Additionally the quality of the lines did not match anything of their other work and the work appeared extremely rushed. I contacted them back and asked if the markings could be added. Being charged a complexity fee those markings should have been added. Quality of chibis advertised: Message sent with my file: The file: I did not hear back from them. I contacted them again on the 15th and still heard nothing. Then I contacted them again on the 17th and finally heard back late in the evening. I was told they had deleted the file and that there was nothing they could do about it. I asked them about getting a refund for the complexity fee since my character’s markings were not actually completed. I was told they don’t do refunds and that they simplify the markings for the smaller page dolls anyways so they were sorry but they didn’t know what to do. Proof of asking for changes: There were several chibis done that were a lot more complicated than my character. I had never been told about potentially simplifying the character and that does not mean leaving entire markings out. I mentioned writing a beware and then was told I didn’t communicate well enough about what was important for my character. The reference sheet I sent is very thorough and answered any potential questions the artist might have had. They also could have messaged me at any point to ask me the questions but they did not. Excuses given for why it couldn't be changed: They finally painted the markings onto the image and said they were blacklisting me. I was asking simply for what I paid for. The rest of the interaction: The final changes I received: There are still several details incorrect on the character. The line quality is horrific especially in the feet and tail. The line making up the claw on the foot is not even closed. The line for the right ear can be seen through the horn. There are several areas such as the arms that are not colored all the way. The elbow being laughed into has a bit of fur colored in as the scales on his arms. I was charged an extra fee for complexity and then when I asked to have things corrected got blamed for the mistakes and then blacklisted. I want to make people aware of the bad conduct, communication and final product of this artist.

They messaged me with two that they were selling, one at 150$ and the other at 100$. I thought this was fine and wanted to buy them both. They originally asked me to send as Friends and family, but I said I was uncomfortable with that and offered to pay the fees for them. They sent me an invoice, which I was comfortable with because invoices are more secure. They gave me the image files and all was fine after. About a month in, I was contacted by a user, who I won’t mention, stating that their longthing looked eerily similar to one of mine. I agreed and sent Glider a note about it. (I later learned Glider isn’t as active where I contacted them, so that’s not an issue). I then contacted Guro and they stated it was a custom. I was still very wary, but I accepted it and just kept things quiet while I did some research. Things got busy, IRL, so I dropped the thing to take care of my life. Glider posted a journal to FA today, April 11th, 2018. And stated there was a tracing issue. I asked in the thread, for someone to note me the name of the user. I was noted, by SEVERAL people, that it was guro-boy. This prompted me to message glider, who was active on the site, for confirmation. They confirmed my suspicions and stated I was sold two altered long things. As of currently, I have filed a dispute asking for them to VERIFY the legitimacy of these longthings, but I will be escalating it to an immediate claim. Despite this conversation happening this morning Update 4/21/2018: They have contacted me via email and offered me the partial refund via. Together, we have decided that I will deny the refund so the case can be reviewed and the date extended in order to get a full refund of the 258$. I felt this was the best course of action, since the date they originally requested for the second payment was so close. Updated: PayPal closed the case, not in my favor, and now I’m out the 258$. :,) So there’s nothing I can do, except hope that Guro actual refunds me, since I have no ground to stand on anymore. Update (5/1/2018): Paypal has closed the case, again, against my favor. I contacted Guro boy. They replied saying they needed to check if their bank wouldn't frekk out. Then proceed to tell me that they WOULD refund it. Here we are. Almost a week past the actual date they said they'd have the full amount. Nothing. I'm taking this as a loss. I am going to see if my bank will do anything. Their reason is that paypal stated that I authorized the transaction. They found the payment to be valid. She resolved my claim and issued a credit for thew full 258$ to my account. It turns out, there was a large misunderstanding on paypal's part and my correct channel through the BBB resolved this. I issued a refund to Guro-boy for the 125$ they gave me. I am not interested in keeping money that is not mine. I am considering this resolved. Note: Cleaned up the HTML coding.
  3. I need to say that we worked with Chloe Wintermane before (you can see payment history) so they were a trusted person (as I thought). I have a strict ToS, but even with it there is a human factor. ♦ June 19 2022 - Chloe wrote me about the idea of 5 page comic. It was a huge project including Chloe Wintermane and their friend Jacki Northstar + three YCH slots. There were a lot of art and price discussions, creating sketches and then in August 8 all YCH preparations were finished and in August 10 I uploaded YCH to my gallery on FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48501288/ ♦ August 18 2022 - auction was ended. Everyone paid for their slots, Jacki too but later. Chloe owed me $450. ♦ August 19 2022 - ChloeWintermane said that they "would love to pay a half now and the other part next month", well okay! ♦ September 5 2022 - I wrote them first since I started to worry. Chloe said they lost their job and promised to find a job and pay as soon as possible. This project is a huge one and included too mane people so I decided to start working on it. ♦ September 17 2022 - I sent Chloe final WIPs with flat colors and didn't receive any answer. What a good news! ♦ November 16 2022 - Chloe sent me $150. Another $300 remains to be paid. From that time, silence or ignoring, sometimes accompanied by empty promises, began. I don't think there is any chance that this person will pay for my work. On April 25 2023, I wrote them a message and a final warning. You can guess that I was not paid anything. You may rightly point out that it was my own fault and should have waited for full payment, but on the other hand 4 other people paid for everything and I was trapped. If I hadn't finished the comic by today, it would be a reputational blow to ME. It is very painful and disappointing.

Was contacted later that it could not be finished so refund could either be given or trades for the amount owed up to 4 items, no matter what they would be. Jan. 17th, 2014 - Initially commissioned for a custom printed bandanna for an ex-friend of mine. Was told that also could not be completed and refund was set to happen so refund could either be given or trades for the amount owed up to 1 item, no matter what they would be, and included with offer above. Oct. 24, 2014 - Refund was offered, but then was receded and not sent due to them not being able to at the time. Again, the refund was switched to the offers stated above with at least 5 things I would want to get no matter what they are. Oct. 7, 2016 - After the purchase of another character from someone else, I had asked for a small reference sheet change based on a character purchased from someone else. Was told that it would take 2-3 weeks for them to finish. I had also asked about doing two reference sheets: 1 for a reference sheet for a character I am getting a suit of and 1 edit for the reference sheet above at 0ct. 7, 2016. On Nov. 21, I had found out I was blocked on twitter when going to contact about the reference sheet to ask if it was completed as of yet so I could send it to a maker. In wanting to know why I was blocked, I had asked my boyfriend to contact the artist and ask what the reason I was blocked if they needed to get in contact me with a commission. They had said they did not need to tell me and would contact me when the commission was over with. At this point and time, I did not wish to get the commission anymore as not only am I not able to contact them on the main handle I handle my commissions I get from others, but without giving an adequate reason to this block. The time had also been too long, and as a business transaction, as this is treated for only at this point, I only want my refund from this artist. I am in the process of getting the refund back and was told it would be after Thanksgiving. The guess, since I am not able to contact them myself, nor have they contacted me, is Friday November 25th, 2016. **Update** Was told to my bf that I would be refunded within exactly 2 weeks. Keeping aware and if it is not fufilled by the allotted time, it will be taken up with paypal and chargeback will be filed. However, as it seems, they do not have the money anymore and will be sending the money within a few days (again). So the money will be sent a few days before the holiday. It is confusing at this point and feels as though they are stalling to give back a refund at this point. I still have not had any personal contact with them at all, as said that they would do. So, once more, I have to wait for a refund for hopefully 2-3 more days. As of today, December 27th, 2016, I have received back my refund for all items I had previously commissioned. It is considered resolved. Never again will I commission this person and if you do, please be weary of communication as well as their intake of commissions. I hope no one else has to go through this.

I ordered a pre-made head that came with a tail and custom paws, the maker was very eager for the sale and replied very quickly on FA notes until I payed via PayPal. [FA Notes screenshot] A couple of days later something happened in my personal life that meant I had a large bill to pay for, as things hadn’t been shipped yet and I hadn’t been told that the paws had started being made or received other notes so I tried to cancel the order. To which I didn’t receive a response for another few days, and was ultimately told that they had spent all of the money on new equipment as soon as they received it and don’t have any money to refund me. [FA Notes screenshots] We went back and forth in notes a few times before I was told that the paws couldn’t be refunded since they were custom and so was the tail, even though the tail was in the listing to begin with and there had been no photos of the paws sent to me to show they have been completed. [Telegram screenshots] I reminded them the tail was from stock and therefore not bespoke to me and then I still had the paws sent out to me since the quality of their work seemed excellent. There were no photos taken of paws that were sent to me at all, additionally I was told that they had been sent by priority mail. [Telegram screenshots] Up to this point I had been told a few times that they were having bad weather pretty much seemed to be on a daily basis that didn’t allow them to check emails/telegram/notes etc. I had also been told to contact them on Telegram as it was their preferred method and then after not replying to me for a long time they said they preferred email and would definitely respond within 48 hours which they didn’t unless it affected them monetarily later on in the year. [Telegram screenshots] I originally bought the partial, and ultimately just the paws, for CFZ17, but they never showed even after the delivery time frame was weeks in the past, remember it was supposed to be priority mail. I asked the maker to contact the delivery company about it and the maker waited weeks until they eventually did and told me that we had to wait until half way through July before a claim could be made for a lost parcel. [Telegram screenshots] July came and went after I sent a number of messages to no response, which is around about the time they changed their mind and said to email them since they no longer like Telegram. Time passes and I still hadn’t received a response from the maker so I filed a PayPal case on them since they wouldn’t refund me or respond to me after numerous attempts to reach out to them. [Telegram screenshots] I had an message effectively calling me a scammer and saying I was damaging the business and she couldn’t pay me anyways even if I won the case [Telegram screenshots] After a few messages they eventually agreed to pay part of the money owed to me, but not the full amount. [Telegram screenshots] I was however promised once more that they were going to sell some pre-made heads to be able to refund me the final amount due to me. EXPLAIN: On August 20th I noticed Naomy had opened for iron artist slots for the month of September. She sells them for a reasonable price so they sell like hotcakes so I jumped on the opportunity and ordered 3 slots. Flooding is when you upload more than 10 submissions or 5 journals in a 24 hour period. ( She posted about 9 per week instead of 10-20 per day ) so on October 28th I posted a comment on her journal asking her if everything was okay because she didn't upload things like she said she would. November 2nd She posted a journal stating that she has been busy with studies and work and that she would start posting a few before she went to bed and submit some more when she woke up. On this journal many of us suggested since she had stated that they where all done that she could just upload them all to a stash or dropbox so we could get our art without abusing the upload limit. She replied saying that she didn't think it was right to the commissioners to have to dig through all of those files and we all assured her that we would rather have to dig through for a couple of minutes instead of waiting days for our art. Others have also stated that they have been waiting on their slots from OTHER Iron artist months. So it wasn't only just september's slots being prolonged. She later posting ANOTHER journal saying that she would upload 10 images and then try the dropbox option in the morning. Other impatient commissioners have been writing shouts some stating they've been waiting 4-5 months. Update. January 3rd. She has come back posting a journal claiming she had lost internet and will be posting the owed art soon just to give her a few days. Since October a lot of people had been requesting to change their commissions to single pieces or change the second or third character in their pieces because they had been waiting so long and either the commissioner and their s.o or friends where no longer together and Naomy had stated that she would do all changes requested. ( Journals have since then been deleted, most of the journals I had screenshotted above to be exact. ) I had a simular delema and had noted her with request to change my commissions to three singular pieces instead of three-two character pieces as well as long with a partial refund for the extra characters I never got a response. January 25th. Finally some progress. She posts some of the owed commissions that had been waiting in a dropbox I check eagerly to see that she had posted two out of three of my pieces and to my dismay I see that she didn't do the changes I requested. January 27th-30th. ( I do not have these notes screenshotted but I can screenshot if requested ) I note her AGAIN about the changes. She at first noted me saying she would do the changes but followed an hour later with a note saying "Excuse me, but there was understood your message. if that's the case I'd rather give a full refund. 3 images doing more for you is something i cant do three pics. to be absent although it was my mistake I can not predict such change, sorry, but I'll just give a refund" I saying "Allright. My paypal is "soandso"" and she responds with "ok if you do not mind I pay next week, when you open new slots thanks" I got upset that she was going to be taking more slots even though she hadn't uploaded all the pending ones yet (There are many people she hasn't even drawn yet and has been asking for refsheets again despite her saying she has had all of the pending slots finished) and I replied "Look, I've waited 5 months for my art, art that was suppose to be done by september. I'll wait till you take more slots but if I don't get it in a week I'm going to get it back through paypal/ my credit card company." and she responded once again with a simple "Oka" She has almost deleted every journal/shout/comment pertaining to the wait for the commissions she owes, people asking refunds, ect since she has returned and from a few people that have already commented on this AB she is even getting hostile over people wanting refunds. I know her artwork is cheap but with her business actions it is certainly not worth the wait IF you even get your art at all. I will not mark as resolved until I get the refund that has been promised. Update Febuary 7th It had been a week since the last message I recieved from her so I noted her saying. "It's been a week Naomy." she responds with "yeah. also not opening slots for the moment" this upset me beyond belief I noted her back saying that it's been a week and that she said she would give me a refund, to either give it or I would get it back from the credit card company which would put her account in bad standing. She read my note but didn't reply, I wrote a shout on her page saying "Still waiting on my refund." which she responds back with "yea is true and I'm not working for now" she doesn't seemed concerned about my refund at all. Still not resolved. March 4th. She has finally refunded me so I would like to mark this as resolved.

I asked for an estimated date of completion and was told end of July. In August after I hadn't heard anything, I emailed to check in, and was told I was scheduled to be completed by the end of August. Mid-September, I emailed again, since I hadn't heard anything again, and it seems there was some personal problems that caused the date to be missed. I was happy as long as I could get them in time for Rainfurrest (September 25-28), and was told they'd be done and shipped by the end of the week, leaving me just enough time to get them before the convention. September 21st, four days to the con, I still hadn't heard anything, so I checked in again. They replied on the 23rd, two days to the con, that they'd ship the paws express to the convention. I gave them the address of the hotel I was staying at. They said they would send me the photos of the paws tonight. September 24th, I emailed to check in, to be sure they were sent, since I hadn't gotten confirmation. The following day, the 25th, I was at the convention. I emailed, if the paws hadn't been shipped by now to just send them to my home address, which I gave again. The 25th and 26th passed without a reply. At this point I assumed I wasn't getting them for the convention. The 27th, I recieved an email letting me know there had been a shipping error, and that they would be sent to my home address today. I got the photos. October 10th, there hadn't been a reply since the 27th, so I emailed again asking for the tracking number, or if it was sent yet. Today, October 15th, there has yet to be a reply. While I believe eventually I will recieve the paws, the experience has been less than pleasant trying to contact them, and the promised due dates falling through is a dissapointment. Had I known there was going to be trouble I would have had time to come up with something for my paw situation at Rainfurrest, but since I assumed I'd get the paws as promised on time, I didn't make a backup plan. To try to figure out what was going on, since they had mentioned both Instagram and Twitter, I searched "PJ" and found "PJHusky", and "SuitsByPaxton". Had I not figured this out myself I would be a lot more upset, since all the information I have to go off of is the email correspondence, and the original Twitter account I had contacted was nuked. I would have thought I was scammed. Added 10/26/14: RESOLUTION: SuitsByPaxton posted on Twitter admitting problems with orders, so I responded on my public account since I hadn't gotten any email responses. CONCLUSION: In the end I recieved the paws, and the paws themselves are exactly what I expected. I hope in the future SuitsByPaxton learns from this experience and will communicate better with their future customers, and keep their deadlines, but be aware for now: if you commission SuitsByPaxton you may be in for a long wait and struggle for communication.
  8. Situation: I ordered a custom suit from Lemonbrat in late 2018. With the understanding that the suit would be paid off 3 months prior to July, as I needed to suit to be finished and shipped in time for Eurofurence (leaving 12 August 2019). The terms of service changed somewhere in Febuary or March when I actually paid off the suit. They also changed the deposit terms. I can't remember what the original percentage was, but it changed to 100% payment before construction. The person dealing with my suit told me that I was bound to the old TOS since I paid off the suit before the changes were made. From the time of being paid off I have had nothing but issues. Communication was extremely bad right from the start. I had to go out of my way to contact them every week or two to get any information. The suit was supposed to have started construction 3 months prior to July, and didn't start construction until the last few days of June. Giving them around 30 days to start a suit, a suit I had assumed they had already started. That was a shock. My fursuit head was made into a mouse head, it had to be completely redone. My tail was made short and curly, and I was told that it was exactly the same as my reference image. When I pointed out that it wasnt - and therefore not what I asked for, they said, "Oh, but this is right for your suit - trust us." I pressed again, that it was not what I asked for an they eventually redid it. To my horror, they had made it supersized to the point that it would need carried. Even though I asked them to keep it long and skinny, and anotomically correct. Several extras have been added to the suit (against my wishes) to try and compensate me because they realised they messed up. They added airbrushing, they're bumping up the shipping to Express International, and now they made a oversized tail (something I didn't pay for or want) They're completely designing the suit they way the *think* it should look and not what I asked for, and its more than just a "style" thing. Update: 08.09.19 Hi there, quick update. The suit arrived, with the ears fixed. Not sure how they did it, as I assumed they weren't going to. The suit is snug and fits neatly, and although I am excited and happy to have it there were a few issues: Minor Issues: - No care instructions -No instructions on how to fit cushions into the digigrade legs properly or how to put on. (a lot of trial and error to get it right) Serious Issues: -The suit arrived with fur stuck in the zipper, and the zip had been driven over and beyond the jam (I managed to fix it with some gentle tugging to release the fur from the middle of the zip but it was really worrying) -The zip is extremely tempromental and sticks. It requires two people to suit up and out. Almost got stuck inside trying it on (wanted to make sure it fit because of the issues previous) -The tail is detachable, and attaches with a belt loop on the rear of the suit. (this is something that kind of gripes me as it breaks the magic, but there's not much I can do about it. They claim it was the 'only' way to fix the horrible bulge they had on the rear of the suit, and it's still there, it's just less noticeable. Other points -They included the repairs with the cost of fixing there mistakes. I asked them to put the value of the materials only on the customs form for cheaper import fees. They bumped the price up to 600$ I suspect they included the price of used materials for the repairs to their own mistakes, I didn't like this, but I shrugged it off, as I didn't want to argue with them anymore. (A few friends have expressed that they feel the price is a bit hefty but I have no knowledge of these things so please don't take my word as fact here) Overall, I'm happy with the suit, I still have a few gripes about it, and clearly it was a fight to get it "this good" and it's still not perfect. I'm not trying to be a 'nightmare' customer, I just expect professionalism from a "big name" in the fursuit making community. A suit arriving with fur jammed, and run over with a zipper, no care instructions, and no instructions on how to actually use the "large cushions" they provided to pad out the legs is a little sloppy in my oppinoun. And then there's the issues that was listed on my beware previously. I feel they only went so far with there repairs to save their own reputation, had I not made the beware and kept pressure on them to fix the mistakes I don't know what the suit would look like, they initially refused outright to do any further repairs after the head recarve. If they did bump up the price of the material cost, simply for shipping purposes as a payback for all the repairs they did, I find that a little petty. All in all, I've decided not to go to Lemonbrat for anything again, and a lot of people have given me there support on this without asking, saying they won't even buy things from there stalls anymore. I appreciate all the support the AB team and the people who read my posts and twitter have given me. And if you chose not support Lemonbrat, that is your choice, but I wouldn't blame you. The photos were great, and it seemed to be really going well. I wanted to purchase it for a friend of mine as a gift. So I went and emailed to ask a question about the underwear and they replied very promptly. Everything was set and I recieved and paid for my invoice. 1 It totaled $30 which was very fair. 2 And about 2 months later I recieved an email to charge an additional $10 for shipping costs which I paid soon afterwards. 3 4 After everything was all paid I eagerly awaited the delivery to my friend. But soon, again almost two months later, there was a new email that arrived that said there would be shipping delays due to a convention & illness. 5 Of course, that doesn't bother me, as I understand real life happens. In the email it was stated that orders would get filled after the convention so I didn't mind the extra wait. Soon time passed and it's been another 2 months since the shipping delays email and I find out my friend moved and needed it to be sent to another location. So I emailed Dalmy to try and get it updated and never recieved a response. 6 Then again, 2 months after that I tried once more to see if it was all set, but I again, never recieved a response or confirmation. At this point it's been 8 months since the initial order. I DM'ed their personal twitter to ask what was happening with the order. I got a reply, and was being told they were being worked on. 12 About a month later another new email arrives talking about how people were getting frustrated with their orders not arriving and filing disputes. 7 One thing that struck me right away was that apparently their Paypal is now frozen because of the disputes that got filed. There was also promise of them getting out to the new year. At this point, I was satisfied and assumed that the deadline would get reached this time and everything would work out well. It was at this point, on the same day, I emailed Dalmy on the email that sent the previous message and again let them know that my friend had a new shipping address and I wanted to make sure it got noted/updated. 8 I recieved no reply. On April, in 2016, there was a single twitter post on the Fursace's twitter detailing that there will be promises of a video detailing refunds. 9 Nothing ever got made. After waiting a few more months I started to ask for a refund, due to the lack of results. My friend had not recieved anything, and emails and communication had ceased entirely. At this point it was October 2016, it has been 1 year and 7 months since ordering. 10 But then I started to get mail returns on one of the email addresses. 11 I did not get any response. I continued to ask on their personal twitter what the status of the refund video was, and eventually started to not get any replies at all. 12 Their twitter continued to be active. And I decided to DM their buisness twitter to see if I could get any results. 16 I did not get a response at this point. I sent another email (and a few of the addresses got rejected and mail returned again). At this point I was very frustrated, and it had almost been 2 years at that point. I ended up publically tweeting at them to see if I could get them to check their DMs, because I saw them active on twitter again and that worked. 17 And I got a reply on their buisness twitter and they told me that they will post information about refunds after ANE. I did try at one point to file a dispute on Paypal, but because their paypal was closed from all the other disputes and also it had been about a year and a half since purchase, they rejected my claim. His work is phenomenal, but both I and my friend (who has had several great experiences with commissioning this artist in the past) feel it’s important for people who may want to commission this particular artist in the future to know that there may be issues during the process. Neither of us believe any bad intentions were made on the artist’s part, but things certainly spiraled nearly out of control and became an almost perfect storm of stuff gone wrong in the commissioning process. However, art was finally delivered, and done so to both my and my fellow commissioner’s satisfaction. I have to admit, I do feel a bit uncomfortable posting this, but after learning that my fellow commisioner shared a similar situation to another commssioner during the same time frame, I think it's important that I do so. A friend of mine (Alex in the screenshots) and I contacted Inu-Jean for a 2-character commission in November of 2014. Specifics of the commission were worked out over the course of the following few days. We were a ways down from the images he was working on and knew there would be a decent wait involved, which did not bother us. However, the months went by, not a single update was given regarding progress until a (now deleted) update journal was posted to FA in late April announcing that the artist was taking on another batch of commissions. Concerned, my fellow commissioner messaged the artist regarding this, but he did not respond until being messaged once more several weeks later... Radio silence continues until June. A WIP is requested and the artist states he will try to get something done by the coming Monday, but no progress is made and no further updates given. I asked if WIP progress was made on Tuesday, but was not replied to. Radio silence continues until August when I write a fairly lengthy message to the artist, and he does post a proper update journal to FA. After this point, a public queue is posted, and visible work does begin on those above us in the queue, and everything appears to be on track and going well. However, during this time, the artist took on another batch of commissions, opened for a YCH, and began working heavily on Patreon reward art. A WIP is promised, and not delivered. Another almost 2 weeks goes by, we’re removed from the queue, and other work begins on art from the new queue. Concerns are expressed. Patreon art, the YCH, and later accepted commissions are worked on and posted. A brief art stream occurs where progress finally begins, albeit only for a brief amount of time due to unruly, very crude, comments from unruly members of the stream audience that did not stop for some time despite prompting from the artist, myself, and other members of the stream audience. This causes the artist to become frustrated and stop working. This last part is completely understandable given the circumstances, but did serve as a roadblock for further progress. Several more weeks pass with yet more art from Patreon or commission work from later batches is completed and posted, and the artist opens for yet another batch of commissions. Growing frustrated, my friend and I decided it’s best to express our concerns to the artist once more. Difficult working hours on the artist’s part are discussed, and are certainly understandable (2 am to 10 am. Yikes!), but the lengthy amount of time passed and lack of communication during the past year had made the situation less understandable. A WIP is posted in response. Work continues throughout the week, but after the expression of major concerns and a very brief discussion of difficulties, responses are curt, if present at all. Requests for minor changes are not acknowledged verbally, but are put in place in following WIPs. Finally, the finished artwork is delivered.

On June 15 2020 I commissioned the artist joojoo on furaffinity to draw a single sketch page with 4 nsfw scenes in it and she sent told me that the commission would cost 80£ so I sent her the money. A week later on June 21 2020 I asked her if it would be possible to add another scene in the sketch which I was willing to pay for but she suddenly sent me a message saying how each of the four scenes in this sketch page commission would cost 80£ per piece. she did not clarify this to me earlier as I thought that the whole commission was 80£. Than in another message she claimed that I didn’t pay her at all when I did in fact pay her as I have the paypal receipt to proof this and she blocked me furaffinity and she has been ignoring my messages for a refund I tried to forgot about this as she is a popular furry artist so I felt that the odds were against me but I just couldn’t let go of this issue anymore and at the time I didn’t know that PayPal offered refunds and I was also afraid to go to them for help due to the commission being nsfw I’m attaching all the photos of the messages that the artist sent me and also proof of payment on PayPal here I would be very grateful if someone here could help me with this thank you Note: this is my first time posting here so please let me know if made any mistakes or if I’m missing something

Further explaination: I got a commission from Naomy on the 6th May. The commission cost $15 as it was a two person piece, which was a gift for my friend. I requested the image to be a SFW friend pose. I paid them the same day and waited 5 days before receiving the commission (They tend not to do w.i.p.) What i received is completely wrong and unusable, the characters are in a NSFW pose with all the bits showing. Both me and my friend were unimpressed with this and requested that she change it, but all she did was remove the bits leaving the pose untouched and mature in nature. Now i understand that she DID do the work, but the mistake was on her part, and i know she read the comment for it to be SFW because in her excuse she commented a quote that was DIRECTLY after the statement stating that was her idea of "sassy and cutesy" friendship. Since then i have requested a refund as it was a mistake on their part and they refuse to change the image, and my friend noted them requesting them to take the image down as her mate would not take kindly to the image. I suggested maybe she could re-do the commission or something else to make up for the money, instead of refunding as she declined as the effort was put into it which is fair enough. However neither i nor my friend are comfortable with the image she put up and i'd not like to feel like i wasted money on art that makes me cring and feel shamed by the trouble it's caused my friend every time i see it. It was meant to be a gift, not an issue that my friend, who has a boyfriend, dislikes and doesn't aprove of the position her characters in with mine. She has read the message reguarding the comprise suggestion and has stopped all communitcation since, the image remains up even though both of us has requested it be taken down. The excuse was given that "things [have] been kinda hectic", but no status update was given. A week later on the 11th more information was requested for the work, which I provided. Again the artist fell silent, this time for two months. On the 11th of April I prodded her again, to be told that "Everything's alright....I have been working on a few commissions". Nothing specific about mine though. AGAIN the artist went silent. I emailed her again on the 8th of May, but this time received no response. I tried again on the 29th of May, and was told the following day "I've been sketching out all of the commissions lately, yours included, so, it will give me a head start on the LineArts and colors for all of them. Hopefully I'll get them done by next week!". And yet again she went silent for three weeks. My latest email has gone unanswered. There have been no sketches, no linearts, nothing provided. In fact there is no evidence at all that she's even started working. As we're getting close to the Paypal 180-day limit I have told her that I am prepared to request a refund unless she can provide proof that she's actually started work. There was nothing in the commission detail or in any of our conversation to warrant such a delay. If I'd been told "The work might take up to 6 months" I would have understood, but there has been absolutely no explanation. UPDATE: After posting this I received a message from the artist apologising, and saying that she was "getting onto it right now" and would "be working night and until morning for your commission to be finished." Three hours later I received an incomplete sketch via email. I replied, letting her know of the situation but cautiously adding that I couldn't accurately judge the sketch as it was incomplete. I also mentioned that the Paypal deadline is the 12th of July, whereupon I have to escalate to a claim, or cancel if the art is done. UPDATE: 24 hours later (the 22nd of June), I get a message saying that she is considering closing all her accounts and paying everybody back. I have replied saying that she can do that if she wants, but there is still the option of finishing the work before the Chargeback deadline. I am bemused by her comment that she is "new to Paypal" but that's beyond the scope of this post. As of 23rd of June, I have received a rough sketch. I noted her again to express my displeasure with the image and things got slightly unpleasant but were ultimately resolved with her set to do the sheet in traditional as originally agreed upon and have it finished by the end of the week.... She also found the time to edit the sheet during the conversation, though I saved the original. (Images 3-5) January-22-2014, I sent another note inquiring as to the status, read but not replied to. (Image 6) February-4-2014, I sent yet another note, she told me that the piece was completed but that she wouldn't be posting it on FA, she didn't offer me a digital copy in another method, and I neglected to ask for proof that it was done which I now realize I should have done. (Image 7) February-20-2014, after not hearing anything about it having been shipped, and not recieving anything in the mail for just over two weeks, I sent her another note. It was read, but not replied to. (Image 😎 April-4-2014, I sent yet another note asking about it, and this time mentioning that I might have to post on this journal, she didn't even read it. Two days later, her page was disabled and she had vanished off the internet. (image 9) August-24-2014, today. I decided to try one final try, and dug out her email to contact her directly. I didn't expect much, but to my surprise she responded.. In a less than polite manner. While I replied to her email despite her threat that it would be treated as harassment, I do not hold my breath for any sort of reply. The commission was paid for on May 26th, 2014, after I approved a sketch. As of May 2016, the commission still hasn't been received and the artist has vanished, with the final conversation I had with her taking place in November 2014. PROOF/EXPLAIN: Since our correspondence was over two years ago, some messages have been deleted, but here is what I managed to find in my dA inbox. Read from bottom to top, please! April 2014: EyeKissa opened for design commissions and I sent her a note about one, including a form she specified for prospective customers to use. She replied that nine other users had ordered commissions before me and that my custom might take "up to two weeks at the most," which I agreed to. She also told me to wait until an approval sketch was sent to pay. May 2014: I didn't hear from EyeKissa in awhile, but she was progressing on her other commissions rather quickly, so I didn't mind the wait. On May 26th, she sent me a note and asked if I was still interested in the custom, to which I replied that I was and requested a species change, since it hadn't been started. She told me this was fine and to expect a sketch later that day. A few hours later, she sent me this note with a sketch included for my approval. I approve and pay. (The red box censors an email address.) November 2014: After this, I don't hear from her until November, when she unexpectedly offers me a refund. Here, I will confess that I was rude in my response, which I know now was unnecessarily guilt-tripping and could have been said much better. Essentially, I told her that I would accept the refund, but I was disappointed in her service because she had finished almost all of her other commissions, most of which had been paid for after mine. Someone who had been added to her to-do list weeks after me had their commission finished before me, which is why I was so displeased. Still, this was rude of me and I regret it. She responds with the offer to both refund me and finish the commission, to which I tell her that I don't expect her to complete the commission after she's refunded me. I receive this response, in which she tells me that she wants to do it, which is the last message I have on record from her. She claims she will send the refund the next day, but it was never received. I've sent follow-up messages, but none of them have been opened, as well as posted on her pages to see if anyone has been in contact with her lately. This comment on her page suggests that she might be overseas at the moment, but there's no solid evidence of this otherwise. If this to-do list is to be believed, there's at least one other customer out there who never received their commission. Before she vanished, EyeKissa was always pleasant to work with, so I'm sad that I had to post a beware on her, but the fact remains that she didn't refund me or complete a commission I paid for two years ago. It's a lost cause by now, but I hope she's okay. EDIT (06/05/16): Here is evidence that the artist has internet connection and has been on her dA account very recently. Someone drew her character and she added the image to her favorites just today. The notes I have sent her still haven't been opened, however, and she hasn't reached out to me. EDIT (06/23/16): After I received the note that is pasted in the comments below, I responded to EyeKissa on dA. She promised me a refund the next day, when I instead received notice that she was unable to make it to the bank, but would be able to the next day. One week passed with no response or refund, so I noted her. Five days later, the note still hasn't been read, so it seems like she has vanished on me once more. (I'll add screenshots of this as soon as I'm able.) EDIT (06/23/16): Here are the screenshots of the above transaction! Once I received the badge in the mail I was to preoccupied with personal life so it took me a few days to be able to actually look it over. At this time I hadn't been online and disabled my main account to keep myself from going on and stressing myself. I noticed there were two (animal) hairs in the lamination. One near the front-most ear and on her dress (link 2 and link 3). So, I logged into my OLD account and proceeded to message them at my earliest convenience that I have received the badge but displeased with the fact there was two hairs inside my badge that were noticeable to the point of unable to enjoy my badge (link 4). They asked to see the images which I happily obliged. An issue occurred and imgur didn't want to link the two images together to be sent. There I sent them separately for them to be able to see (link 5). They acknowledge the first hair and apologized for it. However, what next threw me for a loop. They only offered a $4 USD refund or a $5 OFF next commission purchase. I was shocked and a bit almost upset as I didn't want a refund or a discount. Just wanted my badge fixed (link 6). I sent another image with the second hair with a zoom (link 7). So, understanding that markers cost money I offered with a bit more of a discount to have them just re-draw the image or if they could re-do the lamination. I wasn't expecting anything free just a bit more in the way of compensation for artist error this can be seen in link 6 of our discussion. Instead they tell me that they cannot offer more and I have the scanned version and just to print it out myself and links of this discussion can be seen in link 6 and link 7 as well. I don't own a printer and if I printed it out I would have to pay for it via a store. I explained to them that not only would it cost me money to print it out but to laminate it. As well I wouldn't be able to get the holographic version as I do not have the means to do so. That a $4 refund was not enough for damages made to my card. As well the quality of a print out version was not what I paid $22 dollars for. I made it a note that I feel this is not fair to me (link 8). Their reply was more that beware worthy on my end. They told me I have the artwork (ruined by animal hair, mind you) and the digital file. That my $22 paid was enough to cover that and to be happy as it was a good deal. As well they just blew me off and says just not to work with them again. They also made a comment of "feel free to do the work I had to do to find the overlay and make the work to your own standards" (link 8). I was devastated and with that attitude I felt they were not going to give me any sort of compensation. Luckily, I was able to go to paypal and force a partial refund of $8 USD as my friend told me I should have pushed for half all I wanted was my picture redone. This was never about the money and in fact I offered more just to have it fixed properly. The finished piece was no where near the quality of her other artwork nor did it look anything like my character, so i sent her an email about it. The response i got was that the references made her "look like that", she tried a different shading style (which i never approved or was even told about) and that the examples i linked back to her (i linked some of her art from her gallery, expecting i was meant to get something of that quality) i was told they were a "higher tier" commission, which is a blatant lie, there is no tier above what i paid for. At the bottom of this post i have linked the final product i received, the references i gave her and the ones from her gallery i used when I questioned the quality along with a current copy of her commission prices.   22. Before I begin, let me reinstate that I wish no ill will or harm towards DaskerLizard or their business. I am simply posting my experience about my time with Dasker so that others my avoid the negative experience that I have had. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I contacted Dasker/BlueFoxFursuits the morning of June 16th, 2016 via email asking if it was okay for me to order being 17 (turning 18 within the next few weeks) and what their payment plans looked like. I was responded to 4 days later with both my questions answered. Given the okay to order, I then submitted a application via their google docs quote form. I was responded to almost immediately with the approximate due date and how much my suit (which was/will be a partial) would cost. I responded back within a few minutes saying I would like to go ahead and reserve my spot within their queue. After a few hiccups, (me paying in the wrong currency), I finally had paid off my deposit and had a reserved slot for May 2017. I paid £190 ( $287.16 ). A few emails from me about what furs they will use for my suit were exchanged so I could order a bodysuit to match with no problems. I have since received my bodysuit from another maker. The real problems started when it finally reached the due date for my commission. I was struggling for with money due to unforeseen car problems, so I emailed them on the 15th of May, 2017 and asked for an update on when I would be up so I could prepare on when I needed to pay/how much to put aside. They replied telling me they had to "do a lot of shifting around in my queue due to confuzzled suits overrunning" and how they had injured their back moving fur supply boxes and that they will be "starting up the queue again towards the end of june when I'm back from confuzzled, and also back from visiting family for a late birthday meetup". I was both upset and relieved on how I would have time to save up further and put aside my money problems, but also a little sad considering they had taken more con crunch commissions and put them ahead of other preexisting commissions. The next time I contacted Dasker was 5 months (October 9th, 2017) past the given completion date of end of June 2017. I simply stated how I had not received an email from the regarding my commission and how the queue was looking/when I would be up. I was then informed unknowingly that I had been once more pushed back to February of 2018. At this point I was rather upset, so I did not reply. I emailed them ONCE MORE on July 21st, 2018 (another 5 months after the due date they had given me had past), asking what the wait time is looking like since my slot had been missed once more. They responded a week later on July 28th, 2018 saying they had moved and had eurofurence deadlines to focus on. Again, putting convention crunch commissions ahead of regular commissions. I was told that I would have my commission and "all older orders out by jan-feb next year". Again, moved another year back. I did not reply. After waiting so long, I then took it upon myself to contact Dasker one more time on January 8th, 2019. They replied saying that it "should be february". Seeing as it was the beginning of the month, I was VERY excited to finally get around to getting my suit. That is until as of late. On February 17th, I contacted Dasker after finding out that they had once more opened for more commissions. This has had me extremely worried that my commission from 2016 would be pushed back once more to make room for other, newer orders. I asked them if there was a problem with my character and asked that if they did not like the character given, that they would tell me and refund me my deposit instead of pushing me back over and over. They then confessed to me that I am not the only person who has been waiting since 2016 for their suit and that I should have my suit by March. I was upset by this information considering how I am 1) not the only one going through such an experience and 2) my slot had once again been pushed back. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To reiterate, I am a very patient person. I from the above evidence, it is obvious I have only emailed one to two times a year asking for updates, often waiting months after the date I was told to contact them. To put it into perspective, I ordered when I was 17 years of age, I am now not too far off from turning 21. I have given Dasker the benefit of the doubt one too many times, and I can say that I am very unhappy and disappointed with my experience so far. I only paid the deposit needed to reserve my spot, but I have had the rest of the money needed within my Paypal for up to 2 years now. They do not email/contact commissioners when they come upon hard times, leaving one to basically chase them to get a vague answer on when your commission will be started. Dasker seems like a nice person, they not once seemed rude and often replied in a very professional manner. However, it seems their queue is VERY disorganized and unprofessional. At the moment of writing this, I still do not know what spot I am in their queue and do not recommend working with DaskerLizard/BlueFoxFursuits. I will update further when/if I receive what I have paid for or if anything else unfolds. If you see any inconsistencies within my writing, please let me know and I will fix them!

WDW had a contract that protects her very well but does not at all hold her accountable to her end of business. Not only did she not take deadlines but she did NOT stick to her public queue. I commissioned Keryu back in Mid 2015 for a fullsuit(with additional padding in the tail, arms and legs). I often had problems with her ignoring or just not replying to emails. I eventually had to contact her on Twitter publicly to get her to respond. From then on we talked mostly over twitter. I only got updates from her if I asked her directly and my messages would go unanswered for days if not weeks despite her activity on twitter. I confronted her in Decemberof 2015 about her lack of communication( http://sta.sh/01ehajotfho9 ). She apologized and for a short time was better. However things got really spotty again maybe a month later. She was hardly showing progress and I had to poke at her a lot to see anything or know where she was at. I said no but offered to commission a second tail because she had not made the tail the way we had originally agreed. She did not respond. I had to message her again later on for updates. She disappeared for a few days without saying anything about why. It had been 20 days since I knew of the completion of my suit and she wasn’t shipping it. I waited about 18 Months to get my fursuit and it still came with problems. Upon receiving my suit I knew not everything could be perfect but I was still incredibly disappointed with the things undone despite her taking so much time. I ordered large stompy feet, she left all of the inside foam exposed and the ankle area does not go up high enough for the leg to stay down over it ( http://sta.sh/01tj44b4btih ). The paws are large like requested but there is no foam inside to keep its shape or keep the paw from sliding down and off the hand completely( http://sta.sh/021ueii3k1c8 ).. The one area there is foam is around the claws which is left completely open. The head is too big and moves around a lot, I find myself touching the muzzle a lot just to keep it in place while I’m moving. The holes for the tail are not reinforced in anyway, they are just cuts in the fabric which is very worrisome especially with the size of my tail. So, with this in mind, I decided to not bother asking about any progress for a couple months. As the months passed I checked up on their account only to find that they were taking and completing more commissions, not even touching the YCH. I noted them (link provided above), they replied with a link, and I set the issue aside once more. A few months later when I noticed I haven't heard from them a while, I left a shout simply asking about the progress. I didn't receive an answer to my question for a week or so, but after a while I received a shout with a link pointing me over to the commission work-in-progress (link provided above). I wasn't pleased at all with the progress (not to mention the Google image background); completing nine out of twenty one characters (especially plushie characters) didn't seem like nine months worth of work, especially after their gallery had been filled up with adopts, newer commissions (with faster completion time), and personal works after the YCH was held. I decided not to comment on the image; I expected the image to be done soon since there had finally been a WIP posted. So far I haven't heard from her directly since June 16th 2014 (the last time she answered my note). The image is still not complete and they aren't giving me an update that I've asked for in a note. EDIT (April 21, 2015) Its been just over three months since I posted this, but the YCH is finally done. Going to make this last edit short and sweet. Mind you, BEFORE the commission was completed, so I had no form of communication with her. I noted 5 out of 21 participants to ask if they had heard anything, 3 out of 5 which had forgot and mentioned they'd ask Rave what was up with the YCH. Overall I am not happy with the result like I imagined I'd be, but I am finally glad the piece was finished for everyone to enjoy.
