  1. I dunno if you're confused but I'm not defending Lemonbrat or part of their group, I was just saying that suit reads way more as feline than what Camaro received. I wasn't necessarily saying it's more accurate of a big cat either, just that it's clearly feline while Camaro's head is obviously a rodent head, and the tail is much thinner and more accurately represents a feline tail than the one Camaro got.
  2. These are the parts that stick out to me, because they clearly CAN create a big cat suit that reads as feline.
  3. The issue only "cropped up recently" because that's when the suit actually was being made and they began receiving photos. Their concern about the wrong head base being used should have absolutely been taken seriously. Ignoring the other issues, that is not the correct species whatsoever and doesn't look anything like a feline. They brought this issue up and were brushed aside and told it'd look like a cat when furred (which it doesn't).
  4. The profile still looks like a rodent head, this is truly appalling. And the thing is that the suits on their site are decent, you'd expect so much higher quality than what this commissioner received. I can't get over how badly attached the tail is.
  5. Thank you for the explanation! I don't see how/why they would have chosen this style of fur instead of just shaving down faux fur like most suits. It looks appalling.
  6. This is pretty bad quality. Is that even faux fur? It looks like minky fabric which I....don't think I've seen a suit made with before. It looks so wrinkly, they didnt even attempt to make the zipper discrete, the tail looks slapped on, the whole thing is so low quality for the price tag paid, they should have the experience to know better. Have they sent photos of the finished head from the front? I'd be curious to see how that came out with them pushing a rodent base.
  7. First, the no refund policy absolutely doesn't hold up and them trying to enforce that is ridiculous. Secondly, that is clearly a rodent head. I can't believe they were actually doubling down that the rodent head would magically look like a cat head once furred. I don't see that working at all, the muzzle and cheeks are the wrong shape and the ears are very round. There's a reason foam bases are used and it's because they affect what the final shape looks like. Just a really weird beware As for the tail, curved tails like that are often made so they don't drag on the ground, most fursuits have curved tails like that regardless of the character unless they're floor draggers. It keeps them from getting dirty.

    Beware: Fytch

I mentioned this on the other beware for her, but her excuse doesn't make any sense as she's essentially shifting blame to Paypal. Paypal NEVER initiates chargebacks, period. They don't handle chargebacks and have no means of initiating them, they can only handle disputes through their system. Paypal would also have no means of knowing the account isn't hers or that her father was deceased. This sounds like someone who was using a credit card that wasn't hers and being caught by whoever is in charge of it.
  9. Paypal does not do chargebacks whatsoever, they only handle disputes within their own system. They're using Paypal as a scapegoat. They filed the chargeback themselves through their bank or credit card carrier (which Paypal told you when referencing the financial institution). They're operating a scam.
  10. There's actually a bunch of artists who were affected and posting posts on Twitter. He himself admitted there were 9 artists he had to pay back, but there might be more affected that he doesn't care about repaying cause they're either small time or not posting bewares on him. He only jumped on repaying people when the bewares popped up.
  11. I'm glad you made an A_B even though he's been aggressively trying to guilt-trip you over your Twitter post. Everything he's said has been fishy, with his story changing constantly. Every time I've talked to him it's gone from my Paypal got accidentally deleted and forced chargebacks to my Paypal was hacked and the hacker forced chargebacks (but only on artists and none of his other purchases). This is really clearly someone who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar trying to scam artists and hoping they wouldn't notice or know it was him that did it.
  12. This is absolutely terrible. They wanted your art enough to want to trade, but when you wanted payment suddenly it wasn't worth the cost, excuse me??? Absolutely well warranted, what a nasty attitude.
  13. I've seen his replies/claims on a friend of mine's posts. He's blamed a "paypal glitch", claimed the chargebacks occurred because his Paypal was "deleted", last time I spoke to him about telling the truth he claimed it was because his Paypal must have been "hacked" (which directly contradicts both the fact that chargebacks are handled outside of Paypal's system and the fact he claimed it was a glitch). He can't keep any of his story straight and is trying to play victim about it (guilting artists writing up bewares on Twitter.) On top of that, his character is stolen from AnubisLivess (I made comparisons and can provide some if admins want, every detail is the same except one arm tattoo being removed and horns being added).
  14. This caution definitely doesn't look good on the customer. I have menstrual cramps that are the same strength as labor contractions, it's not uncommon for me to be offline or unresponsive to commission business during my periods because of it. It can be debilitating and isn't something the artist used just to get your sympathy. As someone else said, it's no different than someone being sick with a flu and not being around for a few days. On top of that, demanding they respond to you and then filing a chargeback on them within a day for a full refund (when you got your art and the changes you wanted at that point were small with just a mild difference in sizing) is a huge strike against you. Also, like it or not, the artist has every right to warn their friends and fellow artists about your behavior towards them. I definitely wouldn't want to work with someone who filed a dispute because of a minor edit not being done immediately. Should they have posted a public journal? No, probably not. It's never a good look when an artist vents about their clients in a public place. But that doesn't mean they were unjustified, nor does it make it slander/libel.
  15. I actually do have an addition to this caution. Several weeks ago another artist DM'd me on Twitter saying that Vaxis had told them he'd apologized to me and was trying to be a better person. He has NOT spoken to me since before he was removed from the original A_B LJ community. I have had absolutely no contact and he has not made any apologies to me. If he's messaging anyone claiming he has, he's lying.
  16. As someone who freelances and files taxes, there is absolutely zero reason they should need to use individual client information when filing taxes. The only information you need is the amount of money you've made through the tax year and how much you've paid into taxes when filing. That is a huge redflag and something I have literally never heard of.
  17. The snark in his last message about creating your own artbook and keeping all the royalties doesn't illicit much confidence in his professionalism. He seems to be completely missing the point that they made promises as a company, and these promises are falling flat and are not holding up to the expectations that he created in the first place. Their unwillingness to share sales figures, that you've asked them to do multiple times, is also REALLY suspicious.
  18. What an absolutely bizarre situation. First, your character is very cute and the ref sheet is easily readable so it's very strange she'd claim it's "poor" (and also very rude and inappropriate to say to someone), secondly what a strange mistake to make saving the ref sheet on the finished product?? Her behavior around your reference is so so uncalled for though.
