  6. It's beyond frustrating putting this up today and watching this artist open for another 30 commissions at abysmally low prices. Most of us on staff are artists ourselves, so we understand needing to make ends meet. If you're reading this, Brokenvocaloid, please stop piling on so many comms at the prices you're offering. They're less than what OP paid for a half body. You're just going end up in another hole. 30 commissions is a big task even for dedicated artists.
  7. Here is your twitter thread! We allow users to reply in the thread as well as on site.
  8. A comment was not posted. We aren't here to speculate or gossip about people's personal lives. Please keep it business related.
  9. Artist Links Instagram Kofi I commissioned Advenceart for a colored piece of my OC, James. The transaction was started June 6th, and concluded today, June 11. During the whole transaction Advenceart was professional, and followed up when they said they would. The end result is an absolutely stunning addition to my collection. I highly recommend this artist.
  10. Here's your Twitter thread. Now, as an artist? If it was someone I wanted zero to do with, I'd issue a full refund and send a polite notice that all rights to the art are being rescinded. It's a clean break, without the client being able to cry foul. Then at the end of the message, I'd say any unauthorized uploads of the art will have a DMCA filed.
  11. Link to account: Twitter I commissioned PanchyAndMaggi on June 09, 2021 for a full body color of my OC, James. PanchyAndMaggi was lightning fast, and got the work done in 24 hours. The quality is top notch, and every important part of my character was rendered first time without needing any corrections. I highly recommend this artist.
  12. Sarah has informed us this is resolved. Due to the client's behavior, the beware tag will remain.
  13. A comment was not posted because we do not accept non-transaction issues, nor do we accept third party /proxy posting. Additionally, claims of users having different names must be backed up by proof. Proof is not: - types / sounds the same - has a similar style - doesn't type at the same time as other people
  14. Changed Resolved to Yes
  15. Given that this user is deleting their accounts/ bailing, we've approved this just shy of the 3 month mark.
  16. Changed Resolved to Yes This was resolved in queue, and OP asked for us to move it to Caution.
  17. Don't let them bully you. They let this drag on for a year and then tried to blame you for their lack of time management (10 hours on a sketch? That's not the client's problem) and communication skills. Communication is part of their job not yours.
  18. Correct. It's been a while since I've personally had to file one, but I do believe the option appears when you view the case itself.
  19. Disputes and Claims are two different things. Disputes that are allowed to run out on their timer (usually 20 days) will close in the seller's favor. You have to escalate it to a claim as soon as you can.
  20. That's great to hear! Though for future reference, while we don't have explicit rules for a minimum wait time for comments our beware wait time is 3 months. We don't consider 1 month to be very long at all, and we hope in the future that you exercise a little more patience.
  21. This post has been approved, however since the client is a minor it is 1. Being locked. We don't need a bunch of adults piling on a kid. 2. Not being boosted on our twitter. See above. If the client sees this: What you are doing is called speculative work, and it should always be clearly advertised. For the artist: It goes without saying, don't do work for children. This is unfortunately a lesson learned the hard way.
  22. I'm frustrated on your behalf. While I would have liked to see you try for a refund, personally, it's been seven days and you've received no response.
  23. A third update, requested to be added by Sarah: The client is now refusing to pay for shipping back.
