  1. Changed Resolved to Yes This was resolved in queue, and OP asked for us to move it to Caution.
  2. Don't let them bully you. They let this drag on for a year and then tried to blame you for their lack of time management (10 hours on a sketch? That's not the client's problem) and communication skills. Communication is part of their job not yours.
  3. Correct. It's been a while since I've personally had to file one, but I do believe the option appears when you view the case itself.
  4. Disputes and Claims are two different things. Disputes that are allowed to run out on their timer (usually 20 days) will close in the seller's favor. You have to escalate it to a claim as soon as you can.
  5. That's great to hear! Though for future reference, while we don't have explicit rules for a minimum wait time for comments our beware wait time is 3 months. We don't consider 1 month to be very long at all, and we hope in the future that you exercise a little more patience.
  6. This post has been approved, however since the client is a minor it is 1. Being locked. We don't need a bunch of adults piling on a kid. 2. Not being boosted on our twitter. See above. If the client sees this: What you are doing is called speculative work, and it should always be clearly advertised. For the artist: It goes without saying, don't do work for children. This is unfortunately a lesson learned the hard way.
  7. I'm frustrated on your behalf. While I would have liked to see you try for a refund, personally, it's been seven days and you've received no response.
  8. A third update, requested to be added by Sarah: The client is now refusing to pay for shipping back.
  9. Being pedantic about terminology doesn't help your desire to not be seen in a negative light by third parties. Regardless of whether or not the police have been involved doesn't change that Sarah is out both product and chargeback fees. It's ethically theft. Your post dances around whether or not you actually attempted to contact Sarah to send it back. The onus was on you as much as it was on her, especially since she was claiming to be blocked by your parties via Telegram. Edit: And after seeing your list of demands, I can say as an artist in this fandom, not an administrator/ owner for this site that this is horrible behavior on your behalf. Now as the owner of this site: We do not remove posts. The ability to remove posts isn't even on for users. You will receive a RESOLVED tag which is listed prominently in green. The beware tag will remain, and only Sarah can decide if she wants it gone or not. If I find out her suit was being held hostage until the beware tag is removed, then I will fight tooth and nail to keep it and to keep this site updated about your demands. For now this post is being locked since you two are working something out. I will await to hear from Sarah only concerning issuing a Resolved tag. If for whatever reason the suit is delivered and Sarah hasn't updated us/ the post in 2 weeks, please contact either Xai or I with proof and we will issue the tag by default.
  10. To be very blunt: that's a lot of words to say you've got both your money and the product. Sarah is well within her rights to say you've committed theft because you have. Please post proof of your good faith efforts to resolve this as it would be appreciated. However no resolved tag will be issued until Sarah confirms her suit is back to her safely and in a condition that allows for resale.
  11. Two comments have not been posted as they require review by staff. Please remember that all submissions to this site are reviewed by a live person. Making multiple comments will only slow down the review process. Furthermore, if anyone has a claim of someone using a different alias we will happily update the tags after the claims have been investigated. To expedite this process, as we are volunteers, please include proof when claiming a new alias belongs to someone. Proof is: same name, same art, same email address. I will be unavailable for the next 72 hours, so anyone with information can contact Armaina, Rikki, Xai or Sno.
  12. Changed Resolved to Yes This was resolved in queue. Paypal refunded the client.
  13. Changed Resolved to Yes post is also unlocked
  14. Chesta has informed us that the client has been sent a refund. As per our policies, we don't issue resolved tags until the submitter contacts us. We've reached out to the submitter to verify the refund, and if they do not respond in two weeks we will issue the resolved tag. Unfortunately, due to the fact that the "highlighter" tool allows the text below the censor to be seen on some screens, Chesta's comment with the refund has been set to hidden to protect the OP's irl name. Lastly, Chesta: I'm sure Rikki has replied to your message, but I'll just leave a public one for everyone's benefit. All comments are moderated and manually approved. Most of our staff operate in the daytime hours, so please allow us 24 hours to review something before contacting a mod. We are a volunteer team with mostly everyone having daytime obligations. If you can still see your post or comment, then that means it's still in queue. If it disappears and is no longer visible, then that means it's officially hidden. Since everything that needs to be said has been said, I'm locking this post until OP has had a chance to respond to my PM.
  15. Howdy! This is covered in item 1 of the Submission Guidelines. We do not accept proxy posts. For anyone reading this topic please take the time to review the guidelines. We put them together to save us and you time. There are no exemptions to them, and we mention numerous times on our submission form that posts that do not comply with them will be rejected.
  16. After much discussion with our staff we've ultimately decided to accept this as a Caution post. However, given that the artist has left this is only being approved as a "paper trail" of sorts in case they resurface. If anyone reading has a new incident to report: submit a new post. If anyone is coming to report on a new username, please contact a mod. Be sure to include concrete proof they are the same person. Proof is: Same email. Same art in current and old galleries. Same irl name. Proof is not: Similar style. "Types the same". Hearsay.
  17. Changed Resolved to Yes
  18. Bewares are reserved for posts where you are actively owed money. Since you got your money back, albeit via PayPal, it was automatically dropped to Caution.
  19. Thank you! We had already discovered that alt while investigating the Toyhouse claims. The tags have been updated as of yesterday. 🙂
  20. A comment was not posted because it contained inaccurate information. In checking the ToyHouse ownership logs for the characters in question, it's obvious that these are the owners Beau sold the characters to. They are not alts or aliases for Beau.
  21. We've got this approved, but as a heads up: you should file a dispute and escalate to a claim while you can.
