About Me

  1. August 25, 2018 I commissioned Blix/Fuzzworks for a custom dildo of my design. I paid them $100 to start it; $70 for a 3D computer model and $30 for the clay. They paid another artist the $70 to throw together the 3D model of the dildo. I never received those files. He quickly started to 3D print the dildo. Then he started sanding and priming it for dipping in a mold maker. He told me on September 19, 2018 that he'll need another payment installation to buy the silicones. I told him "okay". Then he offered me a business proposition with my design. The last I heard anything from him was February 11, 2019. I know he is active. He is producing fursuits. My buddy is waiting on eye molds from him, and he spoke with them on telegram. September 7, 2020, I asked if I could just have the sculpt he made. I can find someone else to finish it. I just don't want him having my design in his possession. I'm getting worried that he's going to sell my design. That really upsets me. I worked hard on that design.
  2. In 2018, I approached Sparkles about getting a fursuit commission from her. For various reasons, this fell through, but I did ask if she made custom plushes instead. She seemed to be excited at the idea and we quickly set to work planning it out. On May 5th, 2018, satisfied that what we'd planned was something we were both happy with, I sent Sparkles £200 to cover the entire cost of the commission. I was told I would get regular updates on the commission progress, but that it would take a few months to finish. Over the course of the next year, I would ask about the progress of the plush, and was told she'd had difficulties finding materials, and that she had a lot of commissions to work throigh and was working through her backlog slowly. We didn't only discuss the commission, as we were friends, and at this point in time I wasn't particularly concerned. On March 19th, I finally heard back from her in regards to the plush - I was next in line to be finished after another she was working on. I was told work would begin in the next month or so. I heard practically nothing about the plush after this, until I reached out between August 31st 2019 and October 10th 2019. She finally responded on October 28th to apologise for the delay. I offered the possibility of a partial refund, but she seemed to prefer trying to finish the plush, though she didn't rule a refund out. In January of 2020, my housing situation took a turn and I ended up having to ask Sparkles if she could refund me asap to help me out in the interrim. She agreed, and said she'd get it together in the next few weeks - but I never received anything. By April, my housing situation was a lot better, and I let her know the refund was no longer as urgent. However, I continued to ask her about the status of getring the funds together. For a while, she left my messages unread, including an FA note, though she finally responded on July 6th 2020, apologised and told me she'd lost my messages in the midst of her telegram being busy. I wss told the refund would be sorted out in the next few weeks. As of writing, this was the last day I received any correspondece from Sparkles. I continued messaging her about the refund, and shd has left my messages unread since then. in the end, I told her that all I wanted was closure - that I figured I would not see this money again, and that I just wanted to have her tell me as much. I have heard nothing back from her.
  3. I have gotten a portion of this commission, but not all or even half of it. On August 21st, 2019, I stumbled across an advertisement for cheap experimental commissions. I was new to the community, and seeing some cheap art in a cute style did catch my interest as i didn't have much money at the time. I reached out on the same day to inquire about commissions.. Here is the advert- it is still up, actually. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32748027/ I will include a screenshot as well. I comment on the post saying I would note them, and then I note them and I asked how many slots I could take, because I would get multiple slots if so. (I wanted to get my partner some too.) The artist replied back the next day. I reply back the same day and I grab 10 slots. The note is really long and filled with links for references so I figured I would only show the beginning with the amount of slots. Also, i include the end of the note where i confirm the price. I planned on tipping them at least double the commission prices after receiving the products since they were doing so much work. They reply the same night. I figured since I noted the same day the original submission was posted, i would be one of the first people since the advert did not have a lot of views, so i thought maybe 2-6 weeks somewhere i could expect at least one of the pieces. I have included a screenshot of my payment via paypal. I paid on the same night that they sent their paypal, August 22nd. I sent them a note just after I paid. They sent me a note back. I sent them a note after just thanking them again a few minutes after that note. The next little while they posted some of the experimental artwork that they had done, and it all looked nice so I looked forward to mine. On September 3rd, I was adding all the commissions I was owed onto a personal Trello and I realized i never got an estimate from them for tunaround time. I estimated i would start getting pieces at 2-6 weeks after payment, and they said it may take a while but they also go through them fast, so I figured it would be best to get an estimate for clarity's sake. So, I sent them the note. I didn't hear back from them until the 11th of September (8 days later). I thought about poking them again during the wait time but decided against it in case something serious came up. Note that their queue was never made public. They thanked me for my patience, and I sent back a note simply saying "No worries!" in reply. I left them alone for the next 4 and a half (nearly 5) months, since I know school can be stressful during the fall months, and the holidays occured. After the holidays, I allowed them some time before I reached out on January 22nd, 2020 to ask if there were any updates on my commissions. 2 weeks/14 days later, on February 5th, 2020, I receive a note back from them. The day of the week was Wednesday. The same day i reply, The artist reads my note but does not reply. The week comes and goes, which turns into two weeks, a month, and then 5 months. I didn't think too much about it with the virus being big, but I also wished i had some progress shown on the commissions that I purchased. I join Artfight 2020, and I notice that they have a profile, and that they are actively posting. This is the only site I had really seen them be active on in a while, and of course, when you have commissions that are nearly a year old and you see someone doing free art for others when they haven't been communicating with you, it can be kind of disheartening. I wrote out a long note and I sent it on their FA on July 5th, but they never read it. (not even to this day.) So on the same day, I decide to copy the message (this is why the text looks weird in the email) and send it to their email in hopes that i would get a reply. They reply a couple days later. I send a reply. They reply back. I send a reply back. That concluded our conversation at the time. I waited throughout July for my pieces or any communication, but none came. I even game them nearly two weeks into August just as a courtesy, but then i sent an email on August 13th. I never get a reply. I wait until the end of the month, and the date passes of my year of waiting for the commissions. I still do not have a reply. I send another email on September 2nd. Overall, I have nothing awful to say about this artist! They are nice, but they have issues with communication and following through on dates. I do like the pieces that I got, but I just wish i had all of them after over a year of waiting. I would still be willing to wait if they reached out to me at all and I didn't have to be the one to always reach out.
  4. Paddles had agreed to a commission on June 9/10th of 2019 while in a voice call on discord. I provided my invoice email and follow up explanation for the commissions via DM paid on the 10th, and was told it would only be a few days: After They next day the provided some rough sketches, but after that there was no correspondence. In July of this year I sent an email asking about a potential refund, as it was the only recourse to message her as I no longer shared a discord server with her and she disabled her Twitter DM. I couldn't contact her otherwise. There has been no response even after a month.
  5. i approached Devicre in September to ask about if they did comics to which they said they were willing to take on my project despite the lack of experience in the field. I gave them the details then we agreed on a payment amount and i began making payments. I received rough wips of 2/5 pages in october. I eventually had to stop in October as i went away for a personal anniversary. In November i didn't make payments because of the weirdness of paypal bouncing funds around during a dispute with customer so when i thought they took money for Devicre they had took money for random disputes, but i made the final payments in DEC and told Devicre we could pick it back up in January since they had to take commissions between the time frame i was gone. This was ok for me because between December-January i was in the hospital so nothing could be done anyhow. Once we reconnected and were ready to start, a fallout with a former friend who i was gifting this comic to led to me wanting the comic to be changed to not include them and we agreed on a valentines day comic instead. They said they could do it and we went with the new idea and char. February 20th came and id received no wips or updates. February 25th and they tell me they would need more money to put the comic idea to action. I decided against paying more since there had been no wips and said scrap the vday comic just go back to the other comic then because we already agreed to the pages for that and 2 were sketched out so no reason it cant be finished. March came and no updates i asked for updates i got nothing. I decided to give them space to work and didn't ping them again til May for a update to which i received no answer and started to look around for their activity, and a wip to which neither was available. At this time id done my research to find any page thy were active on since they weren't active on fa but would pop up once a while on picarto to stream commissions they took. I caught them the first time and message them there they finally answered me this was may 7th and on twitter i sent a message but they said they never got it. I was given a run around about them having backlog due to the commission not being done in sept and oct. but as i'd told them they had from dec-may to start something. We came to a mutual understanding they would work on the comic in may and start over with where we were. May came and gone and once more i was left in the dark on may #1st they said their hand was hurting from a injury of some sort but id by then found them streaming many times on commission work they recently took up even so much as offering in steam commissions. I given them the ultimatum of giving me a start and finish date or refund me to which their response was they were gonna stream it that morning but after me being pushy they don't feel like it. They once more gave me a finish date of the end of the month for June but once more fell thru on that. They told me they offered me at one point to scrap the comic and trade out for regular arts but i refused that offer i wanted the comic or a refund. I received a sketchy wip on June 22nd after no response and the looming threat of a beware to them. I eventually popped into their streams a few times where they had a queue and saw they listed my comic under commissions and was upset addressing the fact my commission was from last yr so no other commission could possibly have come before that or their statement of having to clear their schedule back then for me would have been a lie. Fast forward in July i asked for a update i got no answer. I saw on fa they randomly made a come back post in august saying they will be active and taking commissions and ychs and old commissioners had to email them if they wanted their work done by aug14th, I emailed them and i was met with excuses but told they will get it done.once the time frame came and gone i emailed again and got no answer or response back, i also received no answer on discord . As of today i am unable to charge back because i do not have that paypal anymore and it well past the protection date anyhow, looking thru my bank statements it seems i only paid 200 thru my bank and the rest thru paypal balance. They owe me a refund at this point in time. in my screenshots i will cross out any personal information and the name and picture of the person who was to be in the original comic as we are not on terms and i do not wish to get them involved... the first few are from fa the second set is from discord the last set is from picarto whisper chat system and then there is the email and proof of payments
  6. This happened back in 2017. I only recently learned that this website exists, so I decided to share my story. But first, a brief trip 2 years earlier, to 2015. Back in 2015, I ordered a hoodie from Dalmy for $80, and it was delivered a few months later at Anthrocon 2015 with no issues. Fantastic. 2 years later, in 2017, I placed an order for a second hoodie from him, but the price had jumped to $200. Okay, no problem. I paid him in person at his Dealer Table at Anthro New England 2017 and was told verbally that the lead time would be 2-3 weeks. Here is the line item from American Express’s website and the email receipt from Square: On February 6, 2018, I sent a note via the form at http://www.dalmydodatcreations.com/contact/ inquiring about current status of hoodie. I have no record of receiving a reply. On March 1st, 2017, I emailed a note to [email protected] asking about the hoodie. 3 days later, I got a bounce back: On March 9th, 2017, I pinged Dalmy on Telegram with my measurements, did not receive a response. I do not believe the Telegram name is public, so I probably should not share a screenshot as per this website’s guidelines. On March 11th, 2017, I checked his Twitter feed and saw that he posted a video on February 21st, 2017 that he would be shutting down. I replied to his tweet inquiring about my commission, and he assured me that my commission would still be completed: Source: https://archive.vn/DcR1j The refund form referenced was here: http://archive.is/nvm9Q This was the followup email I also sent on March 11th, 2017: I did not get a reply. Strangely enough, 5 months later on July 26th 2017, he posted that he was taking a fursuit commission for a minimum of $1600: Source: http://archive.is/RmLAS He then went on to say that it would be his “final commission” “for the foreseeable future”, which contradicts his previous statement to me that my commission would be completed: Source: http://archive.is/etfFJ On September 24th, 2017, I sent him a DM in inquiring about a refund and on October 25th, 2017 he replied asking for the "SquareCash information” so he could refund me. I replied on the same day with the email address the statement had been sent to. 1 month later on November 26th, I followed up again, asking about the refund. No answer was received. Screenshot of that conversation: I originally paid in person with my AmEx, the window in which to file a chargeback is approximately 60 days from when the charge appears on my statement, so we were well past that point. I have written off the $200 as a loss.
  7. Heyo! I wasn't intending to post a PSA at first but matters have forced my hand, and I find it now prudent to let the community know how unwise it may be to work with Quillcoil. I left a comment on her journal and was blocked in turn. As someone who Quillcoil actually owes art to, this is very unprofessional and concerning and I felt I now needed to make a PSA to let others know. The artist in question: Quillcoil (DA) / Shey (TH) In July 2017 I ordered a chibi commission and two customs: https://sta.sh/06y4mlv2s93 I've contacted her a few times in the intervening period, and eventually got the chibi in 2018: https://sta.sh/013dxcdz98o5 https://sta.sh/01llc40ojw9k https://www.deviantart.com/quillcoil/art/Nudi-738254656 https://sta.sh/02gj2l4qm3qh https://gyazo.com/1ec06c4e0af19e31596f830a6d796b9f It is now August 2020 and today, Quillcoil posted this status, which has since been deleted: https://www.deviantart.com/quillcoil/journal/Do-Not-Note-Me-853152907 (screenshot) I posted two (admittedly) irate comments owing to the frustration of my own situation as a customer who has been owed work for 3 years now and have little to no updates, and was blocked: https://gyazo.com/342e738332532c73da2f3e8d49361269 As you can see, Quillcoil has owed a lot of people artwork, and today, blocked one of the customers. The artist does not have a public work list, and their work ethic and communication concerning owed artworks is questionable and concerning. I recommend that people do not commission this artist and to be wary of transactions with them. The artist left an indirect response to the commenters on the journal nearly an hour later with their reasoning for their lack of communication and poor work ethic, as can be seen in this screenshot: https://sta.sh/0p20wjlw8wt
  8. On November 15th Roger had posted a YCH that interested me, I had reached out to him and secured a slot in the YCH list. Upon securing a slot I was met with a very polite person who gathered the information required and quickly sought out to work. I had received a few updates within the week of paying them, and was really excited to see the finished product! However after a few weeks, I had not heard anything or received any updates, so I reached out and Roger explained that a few design choices I made may take longer, I reassured him that that would be fine and to take his time and not stress over it! After a while I still had not heard or received any progress updates, and had sent a few messages with a month in between, I know with Covid during January things kinda were starting to go upside down, so I was understanding!~ They finally responded and apologized and said they didn't mean to ghost me. I shrugged it off and told them not to worry about it. I then waited another 3 months with 1 message probing for updates once each month, with no response, when in march he finally responded with a screenshot of a small portion of the commission. I was pleased to see any progress at this point, as it has been quite a few months for a simple YCH. I praised them for their work and then waited for the next update to come, hopefully soon. For the last 5 months I've sent 1 message each month, asking for any sort of updates or response, and despite twitter saying that most of them were read, no response. This time I was getting worried, as they were posting frequently on their feed, but not responding to DM's. So I figured maybe I'll try messaging them on FA, maybe twitter DM's were messed up or something. So I proceeded to message them on FA, and about a day later I noticed that the message had been read, at the time of writing this post, that was almost 2 weeks ago. I really don't like going to this level with artists, especially those that I have commissioned in the past, but I am apparently not the only one, according to a recent shout on their FA shout list. So I just want to caution whoever I can, they draw great art, but just be mindful if you consider commissioning them!
  9. This post it not to bash Jay in any way, but to warn people about people who might want to invest in Lmj in other fundraisers and future projects. So about a year ago, Lil miss Jay started a fundraiser. The deck costed around 50. but if you wanted to donate more, you could get rewards as advertised. And I went for the 500 dollar rewards As you can see, the dates match. I was supposed to get nude edits of cards of my choice, 2 oc drawings, other decks from past series, and have my own custom cards of said oc drawings. none of these have happened nor have been shown any progress. After the deadline has passed, there was hardly any updates. Months began to pass and I was starting to get impatient. I would think that he would want to keep tabs on me right? One of his biggest supporters? No.... it's just been silence after the dead line. I was starting to begin that I made the wrong choice to support him, that this was all a scam. I spent a lot of money and I have nothing to show for it. Recently someone showed me this link. https://refundmissions.tumblr.com/submit So I submitted one and contacted him. When he said that I would still pay production, I thought he meant the base price of 50. He also owes me another comm worth 75, but that's unrelated. He is only planning to refund 75.... which is the oc drawing. only one reward is being refunded. And also, a reward that was meant for the 200 backers was taken off because he made a lot of money? Then what was the point of that tier? Now I feel like I've truly been scammed. Only being refunded for one reward. His reasoning. His reason is basically that it's "still happening", so he should keep the money... I wanted a refund because it still has yet to happen! It's almost been a year and I am highly disappointed. In me and mostly for Jay. I've spoken to others who also gave their support and are just as disappointed. Which is what got me to do this beware. I'm not saying to not comm Lmj, since he still needs the money to payback his debts and obligations. And to reiterate, warn people, that if you invest in Lmj, you might end up being disappointed as well.
  10. Hello there, I am Kitteh6660 and I'd thought I would share a bad experience with what I had with the artist. As of the time of writing, I never received the icon and the artist likely has forgotten about that. It all started out back in June 2018 when I saw an offer for a cute icon and I'd thought, why not? A cheap art for a cute icon I would use for my profile. It all started out by sending notes and discussing what I wanted: an icon of me drinking a root beer. Innocent and simple, right? It's the type of icon that could be finished in a relatively short time. I paid the invoice back then and hoped for the art to come. I even got a WIP but then it abruptly never got finished. And the WIPs are deleted for some reason. Unfortunately, it's way past the 6 month deadline for a refund so that is no longer possible. The WIPs were deleted. Sadly. I once had contact of her on Discord but the text message logs just vanished and I can no longer retrieve the messages. She once had a server but it was also deleted. I don't think she's even on Discord anymore. I know $7.00 USD isn't a lot but I am very upset. I am a forgiving person but if I can ever get the finished artwork, I'd completely forgive her. Her FA profile but she seems to no longer be active as her last activity seems to be a year ago: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/sinnamon-queen As of today, I never even got the artwork and none of the submissions on my gallery are from her. It's supposed to be a headshot commission with a root beer.
  11. I had contacted them in March because I really enjoyed their art and they were open for commissions. We had talked a bit and and settled on a three character commission. The price was really cheap essentially being 1 usd per character. However I paid them and they never delivered, I went back to check on them and they said they had “personal problems” jump forward months later, today I went to check up on them only to find out I was blocked. I’m not complaining about the fact I lost about 3 Usd but more of the fact that they took the money and ran.
  12. Contacted him via E-mail, where we confirmed the commission script idea then moved to discord for faster chat. In discord we settled on the price/rates where I proceeded to pay half up front on 9/15/19 (150 USD) (censored Screen shot below) They worked on the first page which was submitted for review and verification on 10/17/19 They have had zero responses in discord since 10/17/19. (screen shot below) I sent a check up via discord, which states a generic either no longer valid/blocked response. I found the original contact e-mail and sent a update request and have still received no response. I found his twitter and sent him inquiry on the discord issue, they sent a response confirming their discord was still active (so that means it had to be blocked), so confirmed why I was contacting them. Upon realizing this was regarding a commission they flaked on they then blocked me on twitter as well. (screen shot below) at this point it's been 9 months since the last actual confirmation of any work from the artist with all attempts to contact them resulting in ghosting/blocks.
  13. I feel i should do this after urging from an artist friend. early this year before a friends birthday i commissioned SugarPup on telegram from a local group chat. the art piece i ordered was something i dont believe was very much but it was 3 characters in a small shaded piece sitting together. thinking hey life gets busy and as an artist it would be valid to have a que for art i asked if they did indeed have one which you can see at the bottom of this post. At the price i have paid it was said to be at $45 but i did the transfer as friends and family since it wouldn't need them to pay for the full payment as such it came out at $46.61. since this is a decent chunk of change as at this point life had some curveballs and i lost my job i was a little more on edge with anything i spent money on as of this month, (july) there hasnt been any progress on the art piece to my knowledge and after multiple conversations spanning months to date usually simple things like. "hey hows things going with the art piece?'" but being a trusting person i am not sure how much of her replies have been valid with irl things happening alot to herself and her dogs they own so i gave them more time. at first it was a simple 2 month delay and i checked in in march. but as of now in july currently the 26 at time of posting i havent heard back from her and her telegram nickname has changed and the group we shared at one point she is no longer in so im not entirely sure if she is ghosting me or if something else has come up hence why this is a caution. granted ive been lucky and had an artist take a while due to other circumstances.,I cant go into who but it took over a year but i did finally get the piece and some extra material as compensation for the delay. i currently have no way of knowing if SugarPup has done any work on my commision to date or if she will ever finish or send it forward as she still has no art que to my knowledge and i cannot get ahold of the artist via any known means i would love to get my money back or get my commision but im not sure what steps to take from here... ;-;
  14. I have never written a Beware before. I didn’t even want to make this one, but this is completely unacceptable and future buyers should be aware. This is a small time fursuit maker by the name of Majeste. Back on June 23rd 2020, I purchased a custom set of puffy paws with claws after having talked details of the design and other pertinent information. I was quoted $190 and paid the full $190. Remember that price was QUOTED TO ME, because it will be relevant later on. Majeste, at first, I had no issues with. The paws were going to take a little while and that was fine, that had already been established up front. The design of the paws was reviewed and I picked out my fur and minky fabrics that would be used to make these paws. I was under the impression that the fabrics that I chose WITH Majeste’s help would be the exact furs ordered and used on my paws. I don’t get any updates for a couple weeks, which again, is fine, I was aware of the time frame for paws turnaround. However, the issue comes in when Majeste sends me a WIP photo. I could see the backing of the pink minky looked strange, textured, but I don’t sew, I don’t work with materials, so I didn’t know. I wasn’t concerned at this point. I had no reason to believe the fabric was not the fabric I chose. The next photo I received was of one finished paw. This is where the major issue comes into play: the minky on the paws was NOT the minky I had chosen/agreed upon when the order for the paws was placed. I had been given no prior indication of this change. At first, I sort of glossed over it. It was devastated, but I didn’t want to become a nightmare customer or cause issues. I assumed Majeste would have a solution in mind. Majeste did not at all offer to fix the problem up front, she did not even address it until I did first. As if it was no issue. I still wanted my paws, but I was extremely unhappy. I paid for a service and product, and neither was delivered as promised/agreed upon. I paid $190 for paws the way they had been discussed, not with a change in minky. I will admit, I became more agitated and less willing to accept this work as the conversation went on. At this point, I did not want to prolong the wait time, and I did not want to be treated as an inconvenience. I suggested upgraded shipping as a fair means of coming to a resolution. Majeste would have to make no refund, no alterations - simply mail the paws with an upgraded shipping method. This is where she becomes extremely aggressive with me. She tries to have me pay MORE to even FIX the paws in the first place, otherwise they won’t be fixed. She tells ME that MY behavior is unacceptable and tells me I’m scamming her. Scamming her after I had already paid the $190 for my paws. Right. She continues, saying she already discounted my paws (I never asked for any discount, Majeste herself quoted me the price of $190 from the get go, as mentioned earlier) and if I want things to be “fair”, I’ll pay the difference of her “usual” paw price and she’ll fix them. Needless to say, I was extremely upset by this interaction. As a paying customer, I felt completely sidelined and overall unhappy with the finished result of my custom made product. Now, I’m going to have to have these fixed myself. In the end, Majeste did ship them and provide a tracking number to me. I do not have the paws in my hands as of writing this, but I would like to update based on the quality of the paws I do receive. There are LOTS of screenshots, as this is the entire conversation as it took place on Amino. Please. Proceed with extreme caution if you are considering working with Maj-Mania749. Attached are all the screenshots of every interaction I had with Majeste. I included everything, even the conversation bits, so there’s nothing lost and all context is there. Hopefully it’s all in order!
  15. Back in 2018 I had stumbled apon a (mainly) TF2 artist, I had initially asked her for a 2 character half body piece. She accepted and the transaction was sent (sent via Steam items equal to her prices at the time): About 3 days later I was given a WIP piece, making me believe that the commission was soon to be done with. After that I had sent an update ref, and a bit later she sends me saying that its done shes just on the shading now (I was not given an update photo of it 'done' asides some shading). I (on steam) had asked her to change it to my Pyro loadout in game (hence why I asked that, but steam convos delete themselves) and just to make an icon instead of a half body. She was fine with this and proceeded to tell me that it was done and on her PC but she couldn't access it due to it being finals week and her not being allowed on her PC during them. This was the last message I sent to her, and I have yet to hear any updates. The bit I don't have screenshots for was her telling me she'd refund me on Steam, and .. steam being the way it is. There's no way for me to retrieve those messages unfortunately. But this has been over 2 years, and she has completely ghosted me. As well as continued advertising commissions, whilst leaving mine unfinished and forgotten about. I don't have much photo proof due to.. this being like 75% of conversations that went on.
  16. On the 8th of April this year I asked xBlueAshesx about a Lion King YCH. She then accepted, I gave her my PayPal info and paid. Unfortunately I don't have the acceptance PM anymore, but here's a screenshot of the PayPal payment as proof. On the 13th of July, it'd been almost 3 months and I hadn't received anything back from xBlueAshesx yet, not even a WIP picture. I suggested a refund if she hadn't started on the art piece yet. This PM was read, but never replied to. After 6 days with no acknowledgement, it was then that I decided to request a chargeback. xBlueAshesx finally replied and offered to finish the piece. I refused, feeling like it would be rushed. Her final PM said I would receive a refund and also how I should "read an artist's TOS in the future", which I actually did do before placing the commission. I would've been happy to wait 3 months, I've actually waited that long for commissions in the past, but like I said, I was expecting to see a WIP pic at this point at least. Sadly, nothing. I'm now blocked by her on Furaffinity and no longer able to contact her. She continues to take on new commissions.
  17. This was my first art commission I payed so I don't have much experience in doing these commissions. So, I commissioned a speedpaint of a OC of mine for $150 that would include a cum version variant. We agreed upon a half up front and a half later when they finish payment. I provided some references and I also sketch my OC in a certain pose I want. They provided me with a sketch of how it would look like before they worked on it. There were a few edits and comments on what they should fix on my OC. There were gaps of no communication from the artist, but they responded back later with them saying they were really busy which was understandable. m March 24 was the last time they responded back to my post. I know its COVID 19 and people have some IRL personal problems, but it would be nice if they told me or sent some kind of proof they were working on my art piece.
  18. Around 2 months ago, an artist by the name of Ynesiarte was offering some headshot commissions. I took interest in their art style and the cheap pricing, so I commented on their post on FurAffinity to claim a slot (which I cannot show because they deleted their FurAffinity account). Then then reached out to me, and gave me their payment information. I sent payment via PayPal and it was confirmed that payment had gone through. I then waited a couple of days, and wondering where my commission was, (they said in the FurAffinity post that the commission would take 1-2 days) I contacted them and being as polite as I could, asked about my commission. ' They then replied that they had another social account somewhere in which they were also taking orders, and that they were sorry for the delay and that they didn’t warn me in advance. I should’ve taken the red flag that they were taking in many commissions at a time, but I instantly forgave them, took that as a sufficient amount of information, and because I saw other people’s commissions being completed and posted on their FurAffinity Gallery, (which I cannot show due to them deleting their account) I had hope that it would be finished. I waited for a month with no updates, and part of this is on me, but I was so busy with life at the time and I didn’t want to feel like I was bombarding a poor artist who was already doing many commissions at a time just to make money. So I waited, and after a month of being fed up with waiting and no update, I sent a message asking what was going on, and saying that if they were too busy to take my commission, I would happily take a refund. That message wasn’t even read, and so I just ignored the situation for a while, hoping and assuming it was an emergency of some kind. After checking in another month later, (a couple days ago) I realized that they had deleted their FurAffinity account entirely, maybe because of an emergency, or maybe to avoid the long and overwhelming list of commissions that they had build up over the course of a couple of months. Im posting this beware because they might try to rebrand themselves and sell more art, but because I don’t have pictures of their art, I can’t officially prove if someone I find might be them rebranded and such, which is frustrating. I tried looking them up on all social media platforms after their FurAffinity account was deleted under the same username Ynesiarte, but it came to no avail. I really don’t know what this beware will do to help anyone due to their account being deleted and such, but if they come back up onto any platform, I personally would not commission any art from them. They proved to be immensely lacking in proper communication with the client, ignored my attempts at reaching out to them, and in the end, didn’t deliver the final product they promised me and I didn’t receive anything close to a refund. Luckily, the commission was only around $15, so I didn’t have to learn this lesson too hard, but just be aware of you are commissioning. I really hate to do this to someone and post a beware about them, but they left me no other choice. Thank you for reading my beware. Proof: This was the first note after I commented on their post on FurAffinity under the account Ynesiarte. I then sent payment. Waited for around 3-4 days, and then finally reached out to them. They replied, as seen below. Then, after a month had past, I sent the message below to them. As you can see in the screenshot after that, this same message had not been read by them (the shaded people are other artists I have noted and commissioned during this time). Their account was still up at the time, so either there was an emergency, (which I was suspecting at the time was the case) they just didn’t get the message, (which seems unlikely as I messaged them that same way before and they got my messages just fine) or they were deliberately ignoring my message (my personal hypothesis but with no substantial evidence). This is harder to show as it doesn’t say the account name when it says that the following page is not available, but if you click the link to their previous FurAffinity account, it will say that the page is unavailable and was deleted by the owner. I’ll leave both the link and the screenshot below. Link: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/ynesiarte/
  19. I had originally contacted this artist on December 30th for a Batty YCH. The turnaround time on the initial post was 2 weeks. I had unwatched them due to the constant NSFW YCH spam daily (100+). They filled my submissions constantly and was super annoying imo. I wasnt aware of some of their update journals and I wasnt reached out to. I contacted Feb 24th about my ych and they said it would be the next day. I was giving birth to my daughter on the 26th of February so I was too busy to message them after not receiving the art as they said. A few months later I contacted again and got the same excuse. at this point I just wanted a refund because no W.I.P. were sent in 6 months. Their trello is also ungodly long ^^; So far i have been waiting a couple weeks for my refund while continuously getting the excuse "can you wait till so and so date" Do not commission them if you value your money
  20. I ordered a custom design from him 6 months ago, initially I was okay waiting as he said he had just left hospital and I did not want to rush him right after. A few months pass, I attempt to contact him again. No response. I try again and I still don't receive a response. Eventually, I resorted to posting on his FA page, which he just ignored and deleted from his wall. I feel bad posting something like this, but the artist also has posted that he is taking commissions up on his page, and he did accept payment.
  21. TL;DR at the bottom. Hey everyone! This is Sugarbabie, formerly known as CherishArts. I was put in touch with her through a mutual friend. She said that Sugar had opened up emergency comms to pay for her baby, I liked her style, so I said sure. It seemed like a win win. I ordered two pieces, a ref sheet and a bust, totalling $70 + a $30 tip because I was in a giving mood. This was on January 27th, 2020. (Censored name is the mutual friend) What followed was 6 months of radio silence for the most part. No updates, no WIPs, mostly ignoring my requests for updates. There were a lot of excuses regarding health and real life complications. I was more than happy to oblige. I know life is tough right now, and I am patient. Suddenly in May it dawned on me I hadn't seen her discord updated in a long time. I went and checked and it had ceased to exist. Naturally this sent alarm bells ringing. I went and checked her FA, no updates there for a month, but someone mentioned a second page. Sure enough, Cherish was now SugarBabie. All her socials, Ko-Fi, and Patreon were all new as of March. Suspecting she rebranded to avoid fulfilling her queue, I added her on her new discord and told her how bad this looked. She profusely apologized. 2020 sucks, life is hard, apology accepted. She offered to rush the art overnight, or give me a refund. I stated I wasn't interested in the art anymore, and I would like a refund. However with the ghosting, I didn't trust her to follow through, so I told her I would start a chargeback with my bank. She agreed. I called Paypal, they told me to call my bank. My bank told me that since the transaction was over 90 days old, they couldn't initiate a chargeback, and I would have to go through the artist for a refund. I message Sugar back, explain the situation, and am hit with a flat out refusal. Apparently her offer of a refund was off the table when I said I would do it. When I explained what the bank had told me, she dug in, taking personal offense to me messaging after I "couldn't get it done on my own." I was shocked. Frustrated, I went to her FA and left a shout that explained the situation. Essentially a 1 star yelp review, it was rapidly removed and I was blocked. I messaged her back and asked for a refund on the service she failed to provide. She continued to claim she fulfilled her TOS though nothing was delivered, stating I voided the contract by initiating a refund. She somehow thinks she can keep the money though nothing was given aside from random free art that isn't of my character nor is it what I asked for. Apparently that qualifies as fulfilling the order, just throwing something random at the client. To top it all off, she threatened to sue if I "slandered her business" with bad reviews or "harassed" her by asking for the refund she said I was entitled to, and apparently I'm being reported to law enforcement, though I guarantee that's just a bluff. TL;DR: Artist attempts to avoid fulfilling order by rebranding, refuses to refund me after I went to handle it on my own, claims she fulfilled her TOS by throwing random art at me, threatens to sue if I keep leaving bad reviews.
  22. CW: Talk of trans masc anatomy *I'd like to note when I mention "FtM anatomy / T cock" I'm referencing the clitoral growth a person gets when they start testosterone* Back in late august / early september 2019, I stumbled across one of many of BrokenVocaloid's YCH's. I really liked the pose, the price was low and so I noted her and asked if she was still open for the YCH. I am trans; female to male, and my main fursona reflects this, so I asked if; instead of a cum version, I could have a trans FtM version, as well as the standard cis male version + clean version, and that I'd be happy to pay extra for this ( I even double check I was super clear on what I was requesting!). She approved this request and upped the price tag from $25 to $40, I sent her the payment and my reference sheet (SFW, I didn't have a NSFW ref at the time). https://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3264.thumb.PNG.d91575204c664e8403519bca80e6720f.PNG A month passes, and I'm getting curious as to where my artwork is, so I ask for progress. I got hit with a very vague response of "everything is going fine". I foolishly trust it, and wait a couple more months before asking again. She tells me she keeps updates via journals, and that she aims to get her current queue finished before January 2020 or at the very most within the first week of January. https://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3265.thumb.PNG.2b4d15de39bfde3e2dc34d78b1b00d35.PNGhttps://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3266.thumb.PNG.5bae8074867b1e0911175f385a3a291b.PNG Of course, January was almost over, and still no sign of my completed YCH. I noticed from her Journals she now had a "manager" under the name Sadoka, and if there was any problems to contact them over on telegram. I let Sadoka know I'd been waiting on this YCH for 4 months, and sent all the details over. No response, but I assume the word was sent to BrokenVocaloid, as she messaged me saying I need to describe what I asked for. I will admit, things get scrambled here - rotating between contacting both Broken and Sadoka on telegram and Broken on FA (all messages are still provided). But the tipping point for me, was when I notified Broken I'm not on her current queue, she asked what I was after, then suddenly after all this time, she can't draw trans FtM anatomy (this is on FA). I then reply to her if I could just have a refund, after she's now refusing to draw something she said she could, and charged me extra for. Then, she bombards me with excuses on my telegram. https://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3267.thumb.PNG.2621a7ca2d9aba6f7c54b4a80389a078.PNGhttps://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3268.thumb.PNG.83b81dfd1ed285307650107a0e34c3f2.PNG https://cdn.artistsbeware.info/monthly_2020_07/IMG_3269.thumb.PNG.89d689c9d40501120a0b389d88dc7a41.PNG Here, she is putting the blame on me for not providing a reference of FtM anatomy, that she's never been asked to draw that before, etc. I'd like to remind everyone that it has been 8 months, and she has left it until now to say she needed a reference / can't draw that. I wouldn't have taken it sourly if she had just said so in the first place, instead of explicitly agreeing to it with no need for references and knowingly charging me extra! Also blaming me for not reminding her I'm not on her trello queue. She agrees to give me a refund and to have it over in 3 weeks (surprise surprise, I still don't have it) The "large clits make me uncomfortable" is an interesting statement too, take that how you will. Again, just pouring out excuse after excuse, and linking proof as to why she's in the right. I understand we face struggles in life, and their is a lot of mention from her journals about mental health, hence being extremely forgiving and being patient, waiting for as long as I did. And that's the end of the conversations! I still haven't received a refund, despite contacting her through both FA and paypal. I wish I'd have asked for a refund sooner and not been so forgiving. I can accept I could have been better and contacted her about the queue sooner, but she had no excuse for this. It's too late for me to get my money back with buyer protection, so I just have a slither of hope; maybe BrokenVocaloid will see this and send my refund that she promised for the end of may. It's almost been a year since asking for this YCH and I'm tired. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PERSON!
  23. Throwaway account + censoring because I'd like to protect my privacy. TL;DR at bottom. First commissioned around the end of January 2019. Was one of their standard commissions through their generic commission forms. Their TOS stated that they'd deliver inside of 90 days tops. They've since deleted their toyhou.se panel that has their standard commissions, so I don't have picture proof of the page. I do mention it in the emails, however. After that initial email trade, that was all I heard from them for around an entire half year. Here are another 3 emails I sent over the course of that, the first two of which got no response. I can understand the first one not needing a response, but they provided no updates whatsoever and did not reply after I tried to contact them about their 90-day guarantee. I will also mention this was their "business" email. In the meantime, they were posting all kinds of adoptables on their alternate accounts, more than multiple times per month. Here are some of the ones they posted from mid October to mid November, in the span of one month: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33962721/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33816433/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33688677/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33562958/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33486213/ These hardly scratch the surface, however. They frequently opened on other commission types and whatnot in the time I waited for my commission, including (but likely not limited to) Ko-fi headshot commissions, Ko-fi kobold doodle commissions, and an INSANE amount of adoptables. This also isn't including higher-quality commissions on their main account they posted within the first month of me commissioning them. For perspective, you can browse their gallery here (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/doodlies) and skim over the appalling amount of (mostly adoptables) content their is from the start of Feb. 2019 to the end of Nov. 2019. Keep in mind that the vast majority of these were NOT things they had queued up prior to me commissioning them. Most of these commissions they actively/voluntarily took up while I was waiting for mine. Their Twitter (https://twitter.com/MaimFace) was also frequently updated with their adoptables postings. Being normally patient with artists, I decided to stick it out until around December. After that point, I had waited almost an entire year (as well as watched a ton of their work come and go with my commission being largely ignored) and didn't trust that they would actually deliver in the quoted time frame, so I asked for a refund which they ironically delivered somewhat promptly. TL;DR: Extremely unresponsive emails despite being their "business" email, sometimes going months without replying. Despite a 90-day guarantee, they did not deliver in the span of an entire year, which ended up in a requested refund. Frequently posted numerous other types of commissions and seemed to largely disregard mine despite their own guarantees regarding timeliness.
  24. I purchased this YCH in January 2020. I received one single update of a sketch, as shown, and that's it. I tried to be friendly, I tried to remind them and encourage and support them. But now it's been 3 months and I haven't gotten anything. I added them via Discord months ago and they never responded even though on their profile they have their email and discord "linked to their phone" and to contact them there. So I did but no response. Having 3 month old messages unopened and sitting in my outbox is getting under my skin since I paid $120 for it but nothing has been done. I sent the last message today, I can't even get a refund via PayPal because it's been too long. I'm at the end of my rope with sympathy and understanding at this point. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33717875/
  25. On the 28th of September, 2019, I bid on and successfully won a YCH auction. There were a few issues with paypal (detailed below) but payment was eventually successfully sent on September 30th, 2019. I sent subsequent Furaffinity notes at the start of November, then again in February, then once more June requesting a refund. On all occasions, I have been promised the artwork in the next several days. On each occasion this was false, no art has been delivered, and a refund has not been given. Since winning my auction, over forty subsequent YCH's have been posted, suggesting that this artist is taking on far more work than is reasonable. This is doubly so given that they have mentioned being under the weather in their final note to me, and despite this they are posting YCHs as recently as today (30th June, 2020). At this stage, I have written off the amount paid, I don't expect to see it returned. I would like to warn people of my experience with this artist to avoid potential upset. Evidence below: The original thread naming me (11Sharn11) as the winner of the YCH: Subsequent telegram conversation including confirmation of payment (NOTE: Conversation dated 3rd of June, 2020 at bottom, regarding the note I'd sent requesting a refund): First note requesting update, dated December 2019: Second note requesting update, dated April 2020: Third and final note requesting refund, dated June 2020: Further telegram conversation dated June 2020, including subsequent message requesting an update on the refund with no reply: Artist's scraps gallery showing subsequent YCH's posted (note the YCH I had bid on, second from bottom right): Artist's current gallery, including YCHs currently in progress:
