Hi, I recently took a commission for a story for Wardenz07. They added themselves to my queue 08/16/2018. Some things that were out of the ordinary with this commission: The commissioner requested a larger word count than usual. The commissioner requested early access to the story in question. The commissioner, while they did give me an email for their invoice, did not make payment to that invoice. When I sent a courteous invoice reminder, the commissioner blocked me through FurAffinity's messaging system. Anyway, I'll be providing information via picture attachments that show the results of our conversation up until the commissioner blocked me. I will not be providing the back and forth during story progress. I would highly warn anyone who is considering doing business with them to reconsider as they've been posted to this site previously. WARNING: The story commissioned is adult content/fetish material. I have provided screenshots exactly as the messages are with the only thing censored being the email address.

Yeah, and the fact that they were so quick to remove the offending pics from their gallery makes me think that they knew exactly what they were doing, or have been caught before. I wish I archived the FA submission pages so FA staff would actually take action on him.They just take the stance that "It's not on our site anymore therefore it's not our problem"

ANOTHER UPDATE! Apparently, she's been sick and be MIA for the past week, so she is still refunding others. Call it an extension, more or less. We'll see if I'm still on that list, but based that I dropped 160$ on my commission, I think it's unlikely.

Thanks, Kei! Just read it, but I'm very skeptical for one reason. Paraphrased, she said within the week, she will note commissioners with refunds. However, if it's been over a week, that means the commission has started and will be complete. No refund. As stated before, not a single WIP has been shown to me (even though her Trello states mine is in the "coloring/shading" stage), so I am not 100% sure where I am on the list of clients. The refund list or the finish-it list. I will keep everyone updated.

I get the feeling that the reason she tends to take on work before coming close to finishing old work is because she spends the money before she's done and needs to fill up again to fund the refunds. Which is in itself a red flag as well.

@TythiusI'm afraid I don't have any information on her FA account (if she has one). I don't have one, and I don't know how to navigate the site to search for her. If I do come across further accounts I will update to the best of my ability.

I should have clarified, mine should say "now has" instead of "had". After this, it continued to be a problem, so from the point you ordered the commission and on.

Luna, Kei, I did inform the admins to include the new note, which they did. It's on the very bottom of the Beware. Do not worry, I will keep everyone in the loop and add more evidence if it comes up. Thank you all for standing behind me on this. It means a lot to a shy introvert who wants to end the chaos like myself.

Yes, I'd include that new note as well. It's just further proof of poor behavior as an artist. And I agree with @Bornes about making another beware.

Also, a note about Chesta and journals: It seems to me she's frequently including very personal information in them. It feels to me like an attempt into guilt-tripping readers into not pressuring her into dealing with her commitments.

Nycket had a history of ghosting and returning out of nowhere for a little while, then ghosting again when it came time to pay up in owed art. I saw many of the same practices described here.

I'm glad you finally decided to post this here, their actions are completely unprofessional, scamming many people out of money and then in the end trying to pin the blame on you for giving good advice how to fix their mess when instead they decided to just run away with the money. It absolutely boils my blood.

I have asked for a refund and they ignored that...they stopped answering me so I opened a paypal dispute to grab their attention. Then they said to me on paypal that they already shipped my base in december, but last week they told me it wasnt shipped yet. im...so confused.

Your best bet at this point is tell her "Send it monday or i'm filing a chargeback", and then file the chargeback Tuesday morning.

This is rather very disturbing for the fursuit maker to use mental illness as an excuse. and the chatlog is quite guilt tripping as well. Really sad that the maker didn't even consider your advice. -

um wow... she kind of doesn't seem to realize that YES you own her time when you purchase from her, cause you are paying her to actively work on something.... annnd there's the mental illness excuse, that's an insult to other makers that have handicaps/mental illnesses and still are able to do the work they advertise an still provide. I ...really hope she doesn't stay in the fur suit making business.. or heck commissioning business because wooow. -
Wow. This is a really crappy way to treat a customer. Her attitude is really disgusting and she seems to have no idea of how contracts work when she starts going, "You have no right to cancel your commission with me! I do not allow people to cancel their commission."

So many artists in that journal. I hope none are seriously holding adopts/slots for him for so long or actually done any work yet. This guy needs to stop getting deeper into this rabbit hole until everything else is done and paid.

Also i would report the the account op as well since it's also a ban evasion especially from the proof i posted above. Since that will stop him from attempting to try and get away to sell his character to others.

Gosh, that's awful.. Sorry to hear you weren't able to get a real refund from him. Had I known he and Teahound were the same person, I wouldn't have commissioned, but he changes handles so frequently, it's hard to keep up! I hope someday he'll stop cheating others out of their hard-earned money.

I'm sorry you got burned by him. He's, unfortunately, a repeat offender that goes back years. He burned me for a $30 story commission years ago, and I had to drag repayment out of him in the form of Flight Rising currency because I wasn't going to get cash back. His MO is to ignore you until you forget.
