  2. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/940141.html WHO: Piranha.Petting.Zoo on Instagram | Karkass on Furry Amino WHERE: https://www.instagram.com/piranha.petting.zoo/ (set to Private now) & Furry Amino WHAT: Piranha.Petting.Zoo/Karkass has been has been tracing/altering my art for her Commissions and Trades on Instagram and Furry Amino. WHEN: 10/14/2016 – First post of stolen art on Instagram 01/25/2017 – I was first notified about her. 01/27/2017 – She finished removing my art and set her Instagram to private so only followers can view. PROOF: So sorry there are a lot of links to evidence, she used roughly 23 pieces of my art as either commissions, trades or claimed them as her own. I’ll be as concise and organized as I can. I did my best to censor the proper information but please let me know if I missed anything! *Please note at this time she has removed all of my art and made her Instagram private so I’ll be including screenshot links. I hope this will suffice.* Their Instagram Gallery at the time I first checked (my art is circled in red) Direct Link to their Commission Information that uses some of my altered work as examples Screenshot in case they pull link access to it Theirs | Mine(NSFW) Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs 1 & Theirs 2 | Mine 1 & Mine 2 Theirs | Mine Theirs 1 & Theirs 2 | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs 1 & Theirs 2 | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs 1 & Theirs 2 | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs | Mine Theirs 1 & Theirs 2 | Mine Their post with my art in their Commission Que on Furry Amino | Mine My Messages to Piranha.Petting.Zoo: 1st @ 7:25 PM CST 01/25/2017 2nd around 9:00 PM CST 01/25/2017 EXPLAIN: A kind user on Twitter brought it to my attention on Wednesday, 01/25/2017, that the user Piranha.Petting.Zoo on Instagram was using my art for her commissions and trades. As seen above she has altered numerous pieces of my art for her commissions, trades, and a couple personal pieces for herself. Even further, her Commission Information, that was previously linked on her Instagram, uses my altered art as her Feral Fully Body, Headshot, Bust and Anthro Full Body commission examples. There is also a post up on her Instagram where she talks about at least some of what she's made in commissions. Given I did not see much if any art that was possibly her own work, I doubt the money she's talking about having earned was done 100% through her own talent. LINK I will say, initially I wasn’t sure if I should try and post a Beware or not. After I collected evidence I decided to message her directly to ask her to remove my art immediately and stop using it for her commissions and trades. I felt maybe if we could resolve it privately it’d be for the better. She never responded to my messages directly, but while I was working on collecting direct links to her posted art I noticed I started to run into “Page Not Found” errors. Upon refreshing her gallery I noticed she had removed a little over half of the images in question. I felt this was possibly a good sign, since she started removing them within about 15-30 minutes of my first message to her. A little over half of the images in question were removed quickly, but for some reason she stopped with a few remaining. I figured I’d give her some additional time to get them removed, I didn't want to get too aggressive with her if I could avoid it, and who knows maybe she couldn't finish removing it all right then. In the meantime I started to see if I could find her anywhere else to make sure she wasn’t just removing the art from Instagram, but continuing to keep it up elsewhere. I asked a friend to see if he could locate her on Furry Amino, since the user who brought her to my attention had also mentioned she had originally been doing commissions and trades there (this was prior to seeing her comment about what she was making on commissions there). My friend had an account on the app already, so I asked if he could just double check for me to be safe. He was indeed able to locate her on the app, and informed me of some posts she had there which prompted me to sign up so I could check for myself. She is on Furry Amino under the username Karkass, and it seems she made a post there about 15-30 minutes after I had sent my first message as well. LINK Her comment about current commissioners made me curious to check her Queue, and she does appear to have at least 2 commissions listed currently. One of which may be using another piece of mine. LINK It was at this point I started to feel Karkass was not necessarily removing the art because she truly felt she had done wrong, but only because she'd been caught. Especially given she still seemed intent on finishing these last commissions with "the same style". So I sent one last message to her on Instagram that evening asking her to please have the remainder of my art removed from her Instagram and Furry Amino by the next evening (Thursday 01/26/2017), and to cancel and refund any commissions she’s currently working on that use my art. She did finally finish removing my art from her Instagram on Friday (01/27/2017). Unfortunately, the piece in her Queue on Furry Amino remains up at the moment, so she has yet to honor that part of my request. Her post on Furry Amino that Friday further eroded my confidence in the sincerity of her actions. LINK It was after that last post, followed the next day by her locking down her Instagram to private for followers only, that I decided to go ahead and try posting a Beware. Her behavior through all of this really makes me worry she’s not truly intent on stopping what she’s doing. I could be wrong! She may legitimately be looking to revamp her style through her own talent and not by using my art or anyone else’s. I hope that's what she's doing, but I’m concerned she may now just be looking for someone else’s art to use, and/or she may continue to use mine. I really don’t know. I hope my concerns are for naught. However, I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else, nor would I want her to continue to scam her commissioners and those artists putting in their precious time and hard work on art trades with her when all she’s doing is altering other artists’ work. This is a beware to artists and commissioners alike to be heads up in regards to Piranha.Petting.Zoo aka Karkass. She has used my art for her commissions and trades, and she may continue to use mine and/or other artists’ art in the future.
  3. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/781113.html WHO: Starrik, StarrikKyrubui, WonderFursStudios WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/wonderfursstudios/ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/starrik Also there was trouble at FWA2014 during our convention. Also at Anthrocon 2014 regarding seams popping and various other things falling off / breaking. Namely pawpads, and the tail zipper being reversed. WHAT: 1400$ for Full digitigrade fursuit, including movable jaw, and 3d follow me toony eyes. WHEN: Starrik showed me Turbowolf's head as an example and the Resin head as well for examples. I also at this time requested fullbody suit examples to which she stated she had no pictures taken but built Turbo's https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/1375132686.awesomepawsome_1374768980.fuchsia_turbohead.jpg and https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/1367806068.awesomepawsome_jcheadwithhandpaws.jpg I liked the style of both heads enough to approve her and give her my details and confirm with her. Initial payment was March 3rd Conversations discussing what I wanted took place shortly after through twitter DMs Suit work didn't begin til later that month. Signs of trouble began to show almost immediately when she refused to provide updates for unknown reasons and stated that I approved of the handpaws claws, pawpads. Along with the fact the paws did not fit properly between my thumb and pointer digit. She later hired several other people and formed a business named "Wonderfursstudios" with herself and several friends. Final payment was sent on June 10th in the amount of 350 as I was told I owed. A rough time line of the situation from initial conversation, to 1st payment (or agreement of trade) to signs of trouble. PROOF: All of her business transactions were done through her boyfriends PayPal account. Sekioh. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 04.45.14).png Statement of how much I owed http://puu.sh/a2Gpb/b4c8f2933e.png https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-11 at 07.33.33).png final payment There was also a sewing machine I had to buy for her which was part of the payment valued at 50$ EXPLAIN: Trouble started about half way when I was given an estimation by her that I would have "at least" a partial in time for FWA. Though while we were at FWA she claimed several people had contacted her claiming I was going to "dispute payment" and "chargeback scam" her. One of which being a good friend by the name of Sovy Kurosei upon asking him had he contacted her he stated he did not know her let alone that she was making my suit at the time. When I had also requested her for proof of the notes / DMs containing all of that she magically lost them and claimed FA glitched and deleted them all. After I saw the handpaws in person with the Silicone installed in them I was very displeased and with how things were going so far I just wanted to be done with it all honestly. The center pawpad on the handpaws were rough and looked realistic and not toony as I had requested. Not to mention the handpaw also did not fit on my thumb and index properly. Out of the 1400$ and having to also buy her a sewing machine and her running out of money for parts, eg; the silicone for handpaws, or resin for jawset. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 05.39.39).png Below was her quote of how much a foam based head from her would cost. Along with the none shaving of handpaws. I figured I could get someone else to shave it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 03.44.09).png Later on I found out that was a good choice after they used a regular hair trimmer, and not a dog grooming trimmer. Likely with the default blade...which broke part way through shaving my head and caused nasty deep cuts on the suit. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brfkc_8IIAAMphS (1).jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brfxb66IQAAozLx.jpg She has been trying to help me fix the suit but the main reason I am doing this is because I have learned now she is in no way the fursuit maker that made the Turbowolf head. Let alone able to produce quality of what she plagiarized as her work to coax me to buy from her. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Screenshot_2014-07-08-21-20-37.png There is a large stress point on the left side of my suit despite her having made a DTD with me and the assistance of Sekioh. The left footpaw does not fit my left foot properly and is loose. Both footpaws the right inner claw was popping out because she had only glued one side. Not to mention the footpaws are completely different sizes..and shapes https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp8gDZIAAA2j7N.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp8hHAIUAAUxht.jpg She used BLACK SEWING STRING for WHITE FELT TEETH.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140708_170426.jpg She did not properly hatch the silicone for the handpaws and they were popping off at Anthrocon at the lightest touches. Not to mention the fur where they were going to be installed at was not cut but actually melted by the hot glue. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp_mNaIIAA4TyI.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140707_184638.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp9vPGIgAENHRc.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp_iv8IQAAJH34.jpg Not to mention when I told her I was unhappy with the handpaws this was her response. She puts her own likes above mine and feels the need to state she LIKES them herself as if to influence my opinion. I saw the handpaws only with the fur, never with the pawpads or claws. http://puu.sh/a35Da/41efd4de77.png The eyes had exposed glue everywhere, and one spot was not even glued properly and the material used for the eye around it was not a hard material but a foam like one. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/BrqHQ9qIcAAzNOe.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp7UQSIQAEeJQM.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp_poSIQAAOlLn.jpg There was exposed foam in several places on the head along with seams. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140708_165624.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp7kk2IcAAZ-k1.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp7UQSIQAEeJQM.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/Brp71MRIQAAz8WM.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/BrqDF1lIAAAh2Sl.jpg - sewing not tied off properly Pictures of an overall view of the head. Bare in mind I did have it touch up trimmed at Anthrocon, and reglued by another fursuit maker. You can see though the head is clearly off centered by a lot and not to mention my markings as well. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140708_170426.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140708_170420.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140708_170414.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/BrqEX0DIIAAejjL.jpg When I asked her to give me the fur scraps / left over fur from my downpayment I received this. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 10.56.39).png https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 10.56.55).png https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/ss (2014-07-08 at 10.55.19).png I believe she can properly repair the footpaws, and handpaws, or make new ones that are improved. I do not desire a refund for these but rather a proper repair along with these the bodysuit. I do not wish risk having her make another head. So with that I expect a refund in the valuation of the head as she quoted above of a price between "$500 to $600" as it is not possible above examples is the quality of her work. Thus I believe I was wronged by this maker in full about the quality of fursuit heads outcome. Which was a complete scam/forgery on her part to try and claim someone elses work as her own and according to FuchsiaPossum http://puu.sh/a35Wl/37c257838d.png Starrik was only her PR for the most https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/twitterfuchsia.png a statement from the maker stating she NEVER even helped on that head. According to Fuchsia all she assisted with was the stress test. At this point she has zero intention of refunding me but insisting she can repair all of this damage, and has actually requested me if I desired new claws for my fursuit handpaws I would have to pay for them myself. Even if they are a $10 set from DVC and the current set is a set I never approved nor was happy with to begin with. 7/23/2014 UPDATE: We have met an agreement in which the following will take place The fursuit head will be fully refunded - $400 (though was quoted $500-$600 for a head alone without a suit) of which no money has been received yet. Handpaws are to be remade Footpaws are to be remade Bodysuit is to be FULLY repaired to quality standard. Otherwise it will be FULLY refunded. 7/30/2014 Additional pictures/evidence of bodysuit: A lot of handsewing had to be done in the tail to fix the markings by Starrik at Anthrocon. Updates of 12 holes repaired total, and in the tail itself as well. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182436.jpg - Left side stress point, I am unable to raise my arm higher than this. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182443.jpg - Right side lift can go a bit higher https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182536.jpg - Assymetry of markings https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182718.jpg - Suit wants to slip off the left side of my shoulder. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182629.jpg - Example 2 of the shoulder slipping off left side. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140719_182708.jpg - Current tail attachment arrangement. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140709_130111.jpg - The temporary belt attachment fix at AnthroCon https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140731_015756.jpg - Non-sewn area https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140731_015843.jpg - Hole in the center of fur https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140731_015911.jpg - Inside shot of clumped machine sewn fur https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/Starrik/20140731_015930.jpg - Outside shot of clumped machine sewn fur 9/6/2014 UPDATE: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/ss%2B(2014-09-06%2Bat%2B10.10.50).png - Email of agreement, request of when she will pay. Along with statement of handpaws / footpaws would be done "by the first" which is another example of them setting personal deadlines and missing them. 9/21/2014 STATUS UPDATE: 400$ Refund: not yet received New handpaws / footpaws: not yet received 10/20/2014 STATUS UPDATE: As of 11:38PM I have received partial refund of 200$ leaving 200$ to be paid at this time. Handpaws and Footpaws are yet to be received but Starrik has made good gesture on her part with partial repayment thus far. As of this point I am signaling she is showing good gestures towards positively resolving this issue. 11/5/2014 STATUS UPDATE Another 200$ has been repaid. With that the 400$ owed has been repaid but this still leaves the handpaws and footpaws. 8/9/2015 STATUS: Bodysuit has been given to Starrik for repairs. She's also working on newer footpaws and handpaws. 8/23/2015 ADDITIONAL INFO: While randomly searching my name on twitter I found old logs and found out when Starrik sent me reference of FuchsiaPossums work as her own. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19358828/screencapture-www-furaffinity-net-msg-pms-12-45381554-1440381697274.png http://puu.sh/jMhwM/9e5c550862.png and an archive of those tweets https://archive.is/xrXSj
  4. Commissioned art and YCH purchase on 5/24/2023 This Beware does contain NSFW elements, All communications were handled in discord After some difficult communication due to a language barrier, we finally came to an understanding and payment was sent These are the two payments through boosty, one of these is an error as boosty charged me twice. Here is the YCH that was purchased along side a REF sheet slot Here is the initial communication between me and the artist, it took a while to come to an understanding but we came to agree that its two ych slots and one commission if they are able to get boosty to send me a refund for the extra $200, knowing boosty from my perspective they is no way to really get a refund unless i want to get my account banned by doing a chargeback as in their eyes it would be considered fraud from some of the other cases i have seen They made an announcement on their discord saying that they are burned out due to them working on furry art and would prioritise working on working on human art if some of the people in their discord would like that instead So five months have passed from the initial commission DM's so i sent a DM in discord to see if they have a trello to see where i am in the queue, they apparently do have one but they keep it in private access and its supposedly in their language (even though i could work it out with a translator) in addition they state that the art would be worked on in november, After two months have passed including november which was the supposed date that the commission's was being worked on, so i sent another message to see what is going on... and no response, i waited until january to send another dm and still no response (image includes overlapping DM's from earlier images) I gave them a warning that if they continue to ghost me, i will be forced to look at my options such as posting an artist beware, after i gave them the warning they responded with this reasoning for their absence despite them streaming on twitch days prior Image includes another member of the artist's discord who also became frustrated with how long they are having to wait Due to the nature of this i decided to give them time to sort things out on their end and continue to wait, i waited a week as they would supposedly be working on art and sent another DM, they still did not reply, I then waited until this February to send another message and still no response still no message from them to as of typing this 2/26/2024 Here is their twitch activity for this month and prior They seem to be working on art for themselves such as emojis for their twitch discord and personal pieces it even seems some some of the newer streams are missing
  5. On June 15 2020 I commissioned the artist joojoo on furaffinity to draw a single sketch page with 4 nsfw scenes in it and she sent told me that the commission would cost 80£ so I sent her the money. A week later on June 21 2020 I asked her if it would be possible to add another scene in the sketch which I was willing to pay for but she suddenly sent me a message saying how each of the four scenes in this sketch page commission would cost 80£ per piece. she did not clarify this to me earlier as I thought that the whole commission was 80£. Than in another message she claimed that I didn’t pay her at all when I did in fact pay her as I have the paypal receipt to proof this and she blocked me furaffinity and she has been ignoring my messages for a refund I tried to forgot about this as she is a popular furry artist so I felt that the odds were against me but I just couldn’t let go of this issue anymore and at the time I didn’t know that PayPal offered refunds and I was also afraid to go to them for help due to the commission being nsfw I’m attaching all the photos of the messages that the artist sent me and also proof of payment on PayPal here I would be very grateful if someone here could help me with this thank you Note: this is my first time posting here so please let me know if made any mistakes or if I’m missing something
  6. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/1008092.html WHO: Wi-Fi The Sergal WHERE: On Furry Amino, their profile: http://aminoapps.com/p/1e02sa WHAT: Filed a false chargeback on a digital art order. WHEN: 4th of August, 2018 EXPLAIN: I was browsing through Furry Amino on my phone and saw Wi-Fi posted a blog entry about looking for commissions. Since I had nothing to do, I posted a comment along with examples, a link to my prices and to my reviews. Since they wanted a badge, we found a compromise, he wanted to order a YCH from me instead, conversation was moved to private messages on the same plattform. Proof of commission ad: https://sta.sh/0u65u1xmtul We talked more on what they wanted, after I was given enough instructions, I started working on their order immediately. When I was done, I showed them my sketches which were promptly approved. I gave him my payment instructions and payment went through, after this, I continued working until I was finished with the flat colors. Proof of conversation: https://sta.sh/21h8etmftqsh?edit=1 After then, I noticed I got a chargeback filed against me, an unauthorized payment claim. I, of course confronted the client (can bee seen in proof above) about it, I got told it was their mother who did this. I immediately stopped working on the pieces all together and blacklisted and blocked the client. Proof of chargeback: https://sta.sh/0jzd63mq1k9 I have contacted Paypal through their Twitter in DM's, they'll look into this. The YCH has been re-sold to two of my friends, so no money was lost. PROOF: https://sta.sh/2vj2q5qj1lz?edit=1 Edited broken HTML code to just links. Sorry about that! UPDATE:The case got reviewed by Paypal and was decided in Wi-Fi's favor, meaning they got their money back. I myself don't mind it as no money was actually taken by me (friends who covered the loss). It's just kind of funny Paypal wanted me to provide proof when I couldn't do so. I got no strike whatsoever, so I'm fine with that. Proof of the closed claim: https://sta.sh/01ujtmqpg41q
  7. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/886127.html Text: WHO: rakkphotography on deviantart, audience0fdeath on weebly, #101897 on furry-paws. WHERE: Occurred mainly on furry-paws.com, but also on deviantart. WHAT: Digital art WHEN: Dates are listed above, but generally we first started talking on 3/29/15. First set of unpaid art completed 4/26/15, second set 5/5/15. Repeated attempts at contact between then and now. Payment still not received as of 1/1/16. PROOF: (Click for massive image) I then emailed them here. And then some deviantart replies here. I sent them another message later and they opened it but never replied. Proof of activity below in 'explain'. EXPLAIN: Rakk approached me after I made a thread advertising commissions. They seemed extremely kind at first and paid for their first commission batch promptly, so I didn't feel like it was dangerous to continue accepting payment after I delivered the art. Stupid move, and now I only accept part or full payment before. Live and learn. After offering to combine two commission batch payments into one, they didn't pay and stopped replying. They claimed they were sick and in the hospital. Up until today, I believed they were still in the hospital. However, that doesn't seem entirely true. I snooped on their weebly page and found their blog and instagram, both of which they've been incredibly active on. Proof of their activity on instagram. 2+ posts every single day. Posting to their first blog here(post too long to screencap it all, was just talking about training dogs) Seen here, they were also active this September, when they were ignoring me and claiming to be in the hospital. Here is their activity on their other blog. So obviously this person has had ample free time. They're posting selfies, writing blog posts, playing games, etc. And yet they refuse to get back to me or pay me for over half a year now. Yet, they're using my art on their blogs and weebly. I hate to have to write this about someone who was previously so kind to me, but it is what it is and I don't want any other artist having to deal with this. Bonus points! Since submitting and waiting for a mod to get back to me, this is now their instagram. Yep. All of those photos(besides the very last one) in 2 days. Clearly, too sick and busy to pay me. (thank you to CelestinaKetzia for helping me with this post! hopefully I got everything right this time!) edit: Since posting this, they've now sent me the full amount.
  8. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/877086.html Edit 10/30/2015 I received my order as well as an apology from the maker, hoping the same happened with the other costumers too. (/r/Furry from Reddit suggested I should come here, since this was a bigger issue than I was hoping it would be, here's the Original Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/furry/comments/3o5puh/looking_for_opinions_and_advice_commission_issues ) WHO: Miss Raptor WHERE: http://missraptor.deviantart.com/ WHAT/WHEN: I commissioned her for a mask over a year ago, finishing my last down payment August 28th 2014 ( making it a year and 3 months) PROOF: The agreement: (April 3rd, 2014) The Final Payment: (August 28th 2014) Journals/Excuses from the artist incoming.. 1 (August 27th 2014)- Telling customers, ironically, to communicate with her payments, but she might not be able to communicate back as fast. 2 (Oct 2014) Pushed back until December 3 (Nov 2014) An issue with the furnace 4 (Dec 2014) It's now December, email goes down 5 (Jan 2015) Sorry, got a puppy now 6 (Jan 2015) Sick Sister 7 (Feb 2015) Sick Artist 8 (March 2015) Too many projects 9 (May 2015) Projects Paused.. again 10 (Aug 2015) 4 Months behind EXPLAIN: I'm concerned about the where-abouts of my said "finished mask" from a 6+ weeks ago. I understand things happen, but she has started to out right ignore her clients that are sending her notes on DeviantArt (and I know she is reading them, dA marks notes as "read" once opened.) We've been very patient and understanding with her but this is starting to become unprofessional. It took her a year to finally post a WIP for us due to the complications in the journals above. I'd honestly rather her post another journal though than ignore me and other clients on DeviantArt. This is happening while she still is taking commissions and taking down payments from other people, while she has had clients waiting for their 100% payed for mask for 15+ months( a year and a half almost). I'm very disappointing with the service I received for my $730 bucks, especially since I payed everything on time and let her push my project back continuously so she can advertise/sell merchandise at Anthrocon, work on her own personal projects, or deal with her real life issues. Sorry for the rant, I'm just so burnt out from this mask commission.. I can not recommend this fursuit maker to anyone anymore unless she works out her communication issues with her clients, and can balance her real life problems with her "professional career that makes her a living" as she called it. There's not excuse for this.

WHEN: For sale post went up on FC on the 8th of May, payment made on the same day. PROOF: Proof album, will be pulling links from here: http://imgur.com/a/sNKx2 EXPLAIN: A video of a pair of premade wings that were being sold was uploaded to FC on the 8th of may and as I am slowly piecing together a fursuit, I enquired. They were perfect for what I wanted so purchased them on the spot. After some friendly back and forth I was given their paypal (which is actually another users, I am told they are business partners) and their furaffinity so I could look at their other work as I was interested in seeing if they would finish the wings (although I chose to leave it as a foam base.) My first red flag was when they sent me this while I was out at dinner http://i.imgur.com/SJvoOhZ.png and I politely informed them of Paypal's ToS and resent the payment (still as goods and services). After a couple of inquiries with no response, on the 15th I was told they would be mailed the next day http://i.imgur.com/b50pxQ5.png And then on the second I inquired again http://i.imgur.com/DlVPTEw.png On the 9th I finally got another response http://i.imgur.com/VZ6i6Vd.png Then no contact at all http://i.imgur.com/mnBo6VH.png I filed a Paypal dispute on the 22nd http://i.imgur.com/sCDlk3E.png (Sill has not been responded to) Eventually I had to go through the admin of the Furry Craigslist group in order to get a response (On Saturday 4th) http://i.imgur.com/KIbdJrG.png <-response Ellis gave the admin. It's now the 12th (as of writing) and I still have not gotten either my wings or a refund. I honestly really wanted those wings but I've been left feeling scammed instead. I am very glad I went with the rules and didn't send as a gift! Update Monday 20th: Paypal sided in my favour last night after no response from Ellis, no contact from them via Facebook either. Update Tuesday 28th: The user Ellis claimed was their business partner got in contact with me today. WHEN: February 2018 to October 2018 EXPLAIN: Asked to buy 8 pieces in a discord we both shared. Was given an invoice, and gave her payments to the invoice(1) for the images she completed as she did them. First went pretty quick, the next one took a month, and the latest was not received until August. Between the second and third, she claimed she needed to get money together to move, and my response to that was to finish paying off the invoice completely. I also attempted to try to make the investment easier to handle by suggesting we switched out things, which is why I talked about getting a ref sheet instead of the last four pinups in the log. At the time I wanted to at least get something for the money I put down, and asking for a refund was the last resort. After that I waited a month assuming it would take that long, without response, until the artist asked for email communications in reply to an inquiry on telegram that I had sent her(2), which threw me off since we had been working through telegram for the majority of the work. I inquired about it, but complied and resent her the material she needed for the work to be done. Another month later (and three days ago) I tried getting in contact with her again, with no response.(3) After asking a mutual friend I learned that she's been refusing contact under claim that she will only respond to email. I was frankly, tired of my investment going nowhere so I sent an email asking for a refund for the 5 pieces that were never started. As of this post I have yet to receive any compensation, not even a reply.(4) Under the artist's ToS, linked here, the artist is responsible for keeping open communications to the best of her ability. This has unfortunately been broken seeing as she's still working on commissions while ignoring my inquiries, and with no faith that I will ever get a refund, I am washing my hands of this. Like I said before, I don't have any faith that I'm gonna have a response, or my money back, so after a week I'm gonna be attempting chargebacks. UPDATE 2: Breaking a bit of a professional tone with this but I've been getting wind of people telling me about the artist DMing everyone around them about this entry. I believe this is probably gonna turn out pretty horrid in terms of drama outside you guys' journal community thing so I'm just gonna point out that anything I hear I'm going to log for future reference, especially if it ends up bleeding into this entry. I'm here for a business transaction, not furry drama. I respect the staff and people here and I would like to keep things purely business, as it should be.

  12. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/956264.html WHO: Remix Angel Dragon / Nightwolf Costumes WHERE: Facebook –business page apparently deleted; tags/links to business page are broken, did most business through personal page FurAffinity - http://www.furaffinity.net/user/nightwolfcostumes (business, has been cleared out and no submissions are in gallery) Furry Network https://beta.furrynetwork.com/nightwolf/ Twitter https://twitter.com/remix_dragon WHAT: Full digitigrade fursuit valued at over $1800 USD , fleece hat valued at $25 WHEN: Dec. 2014 (when first payment was sent) to present (suit was paid in full May 2015) Read below the cut EXPLAIN: I first commissioned Remix for a fleece hat of my Dutch Angel Dragon character back in September 2014. In December that same year she opened for fullsuit commissions so once again, after seeing her previous work decided to commission her. It was agreed upon that the fleece hat I had previously ordered would be sent along with the suit once it was done (however, I had never seen any shots of a WIP or even a finished hat). We agreed on a payment plan of 25% each month until the suit was paid off. January 2015 I sent her a payment of $450 USD(via Friends and Family to avoid the conversion fee, I was told -strike one on me) then mailed a DTD, a pair of shoes and a hand tracing. As soon as the next month rolled around I was messaged for the next round of payments, but I had to adult (to put it simply) and told her they may have to wait, in which I was then told if I didn’t pay I’d lose my commission spot but that she also wasn’t going to do that. I was able to pay her toward the end of February when things ironed out. Paid her again April 2015 and asked about a possible completion date of Anthrocon 2015. Was told she would start working in May after the last payment was sent. The last payment was sent in May 2015, and work began. We talked back and forth about furs and measurements. It was revealed that the suit would not be completed for AC ’15 but I told her I was fine waiting. September rolls around and we’re still waiting on fur. No other WIPs, such as foam work, were shown. She also asked to keep our conversations between her business page and myself instead of her personal one, but this transition never happened and we continued talking for another year on her personal page. Communication stopped Nov. 2015. After that I’d heard nothing from her again until April 2016. In the meantime she was posting other suit work and finished costumes, as well as sharing excitement over having a character of hers made by a popular maker. April 26 I am finally shown my first WIP picture: the handpaws. In May 2016 I received another WIP photo of the tail. After that I was told she couldn’t finish the bodysuit because my DTD had somehow fallen apart and was full of holes, thus requiring me to send and make another one. I didn’t hear anything for a couple months while the artist went to Eurofurence, despite seeing her post a redo of her own personal suit as well as more work. I messaged them August 20th to ask for updates and was told they were still settling in from the con and wanted another week. I reconfirmed sending a new DTD and was promised extras because of the wait. September 2016 I am notified that they received the DTD, but still no new WIPs. Finally, in October 2016 they send me an invite link to a telegram chat they had created to keep all their customers informed. This is the last time we spoke over Facebook messenger. After the move to Telegram I no longer received any updates regarding my suit, but the artist continued to show off work on other suits, her own suit being made by a popular maker and mention things going on in her home life. She mentions she will have four more hands in the studio to help her with suit work. November she posts another finished head and mentions she will change my sculpt to match that one- keep in mind I have yet to even see any WIP shots of a head at this point. Halfway through November she posts more suit updates but no mention of mine, just alludes that everything they have been working on will be shipped out. There's talk of having everything shipped in time for Christmas, yet still no mention of my commission. Updates in January are sporadic, she's posting that she's sick and disappears for days at a time or even a week. January 23rd she tells us things have gotten worse since she worked instead of bedrest so she's stopping for a while. February she lets us know more about her health, and because of this she is stopping all work, and no refunds are going to be given to anyone. She calls in another person to speak on her behalf and again states there will be no refunds, and to sympathize with her as it is a very difficult time for her, we have options, take them or leave them. I stated my case to this new person, first in the chat then in PM, explaining that while I understand the severity of the situation I can’t just walk away from that kind of money, especially where no other WIPs had been sent since May so I couldn’t even be sure the suit was that close to being finished. I even offered a partials refund of $1200 to cover the material costs and labor already put in and her “spokesperson” stated no, no refunds at all, and “this is the risk you take when commissioning”. They finally do agree on a $1200 refund, as a payment plan, and that they would ship me the parts finished and the remaining fur that I could then take to another maker. I was told I would get a track and trace (tracking number) when it shipped, and the first refund payment was due to start in April 2017. Towards the end of February I reached out to this person again for an update and was told they'd get back to me. I haven't heard from them since. It is now nearing May 2017, and I haven’t received a tracking number, my package, or even a cent of a refund payment. Inquiries to Remix herself are met with “I don’t have the money to refund you, I am ill,” and when asked about the package I am told her father shipped it and she would get it from him as soon as she could. I never have, and my messages are now going on ignored. The Telegram group for her business is now shut down and any business pages relating to Nightwolf Costumes are now wiped clean. Meanwhile, Remix posts actively on Twitter about her upcoming fursuit from a large maker, which as of this writing has been finished and is being shipped to her. She is also very active in a telegram chat for Dutch Angel Dragons, that I am also part of. I warned her about writing an artist’s beware if I wasn’t given the tracking number, and I have yet to get a response from her other than “I’m ill”, so here we go. I know I have a slim to none chance of ever seeing my full refund back, or even the fur. I know I shouldn’t have sent the money without an invoice, or without ticking Goods and Services. I learned the hard way, and I’m hoping others don’t make the same mistake I did. I'm posting this to not only warn people about what happens when invoices and paper trails aren't made, but to also stay away from this person, even if they get back in the business. PROOF: All aforementioned and linked screenshots. ADDING: At the beginning of May Remix reached out to me and asked for my email and phone number – she was referring me to a third party to get this resolved as soon as possible. As of this writing I have heard nothing from her or this third party. I reached out to her May 14th asking if she’d heard anything from that third party and I have heard nothing since. 5/26/2017-ADDING MORE: A rather lengthy response from the maker: here here here here here here here here here here here here I've also been called out on Twitter by Skypro herself, my name isn't used but it's passive agressive enough that I can figure out it;s about me. Note that not once in this entire beware have I ever said I'm insisting Remix finish building my suit. All I've asked for is my refund and the supplies to take my commission to a different maker. Proof is here. 5/27/2017 Woke up this morning to a messge from Remix, with photo proof she has shipped two boxes to me, and a refund via Paypal of $1,080 ($120 was witheld to pay for shipping). I had tried to be reasonable and suggest a payment plan again to make it easier on her but she refunded the full amount. I'd consider this mostly resolved, once I get the boxes in the mail and find what she sent is as she described (all the work she was able to finish, plus the remainder of the materials) I'd say this could be completely resolved. 6/8/17 I came home from work to find that two boxes had been delivered, but they required a signature to be turned over to me (they had been delivered at 9 am, I didn't get home till 6 and I live alone). I was away all weekend so I was only able to pick them up today. Frankly, I'm disappointed. I was told I would be getting handpaws, a tail, feetpaws, and a half sewn bodysuit, plus my fleece hat and materials to finish the suit. Instead I got no hat, handpaws that barely fit my hands despite the hand tracing I sent her, a pair of foamed feetpaws with only one showing the carving process, a tail that isn't even backed and closed up (basically unwearable), and a barely even sewn bodysuit, many pieces still have pins holding them together. I also received both DTDs back (one was cut up to make the fur patterns) and almost all the fur used to make her (I don't have the brown or the green used in the tail). I'm disappointed, largely because I was led to believe more work had been done than this when I agreed to a partial refund but also because any quotes to try to get this finished are going to be through the roof, there's still so much work to do.

Dao1, Dao2, Dao3, Dao4 WHEN: I first contacted her December 5th of 2016, December 6th I canceled my order and was blocked, December 7th I filed a claim with PayPal, December 15th I received the email saying she provided tracking information and the case was closed, December 17th first appeal denied, the last email I received by from PayPal was March 23rd of 2017 saying that my second appeal complete with screenshots of my IMVU account was denied. PROOF: PayPal Case, First Appeal, Second Appeal, Blocked FB, Friends Only on IMVU, MY IMVU INV - SEARCHED, IMVU STAFF CONFIRMED NOTHING WAS SENT FROM DAO EXPLAIN: Well I posted an ad in one of the furry Facebook groups asking if anyone would be up to making a furset for me on IMVU. Dao (Facebook name omitted for privacy) messaged me via Facebook messenger and I sent her the mesh links and the cash for what I wanted. I had a personal emergency come up and needed to cancel. I felt bad for having to cancel, but I thought since she stated she had another set to finish before she got to mine maybe it would not be too bad. To my surprise, she tells me she finished the skin and already submitted it to the IMVU catalog without even showing me first. I was a little confused by that but decided if she could just show me proof/show me the skin then I would let her keep a portion for her work/time. That's when things got odd because she told me I was really putting her in a bind and that PayPal was where she paid her bills? I did not find that to be appropriate or relevant but it was right after she said she would "get that processed" for me that she blocked me. I tried typing out a response and I got the little pop-up message telling me "this person is not receiving message from you at this time". I honestly took that as a big red flag and consulted with my friends and family on what I should do/did. I waited a day for the refund/reversal and then just went to PayPal to make a claim. It was going to be a dispute but at the time since she had me blocked I thought a claim would be best. I waited until the 15th, that's when I got an email back from PayPal telling me the case had been closed because the seller (Dao) had provided tracking info and confirmed I received my merchandise. I was confused and very frustrated, it was a digital product I ordered. How could they have taken tracking info from her and say it's confirmed when I have proof showing I have nothing in my account from her? I decided to call again and appeal my case. It was shot down almost immediately, on the 17th they had denied my first appeal stating that the seller had provided "compelling information" for my case in their favor. In truth, I gave up for awhile. I figured she just won and I was never getting anything back. I just got ripped off for $32 for nothing. Then a few days ago I had to file a dispute for a totally different issue and the supervisor I spoke with said I should send more screenshots and appeal again. I didn't even know that was an option but I figured I might as well. After another hour or so on the phone the supervisor told me she would contact me directly. Well, that never happened and some representative named "Bob" sent me an email yesterday telling me my screenshots did not prove anything. So I guess I'm just posting this here in hopes to either have this resolved or at the very least share my experience with you guys/potential customers of hers.

After a few months I contacted them back. Over time, responses became less and less, until I eventually was given no response at all and my requests for contact ignored. In an effort to get some contact, I attempted to contact them on their FA. I was initially greeted with a response! Great! I thought maybe we could just close out the whole situation and move on. At some point after the shout was left, I got a note from someone (cannot find said note, if I do I will add a cap of it here) saying not to expect my money back, and the seller has done this before with many people waiting for refunds. Some more time passes, and their account was apparently hacked for awhile, a friend had taken over their account for the mean time to remove the hacked images. April 3rd – Photo of hand paws WIP received, April 4th – Original deadline. April 16th – Photo received of feet paws in ductape wrap, ready for furring. ( Several different life problems occurred for the artist, such as pet passing, theft etc. throughout the months. I can try to give specific dates for these if required) 6th September – After no updates, I ask again for one or for a partial refund and what’s been made to be sent to me so I can complete myself or resell. 7th September – Refunded and items sent to me 11th September – Items recieved PROOF: ( Me in purple, her in green) Facebook messages part 1 Facebook messages part 2 Paypal receipt Message mentioning the polymorph plastic I missed Items themselves; Overall paw shape ( My ref for character, notice the paws are more lizard or simian shaped) Animal hair 1, 2, 3 Unglued edges Hand paws Claws They look like Fimo to me EXPLAIN: Back in March, I was preparing for a convention on April 4th when I found that my fursuit feet and paws where in very rough condition from general use. I asked about on the UK Furry Facebook groups for a maker or someone seller paws and a maker came forward. I looked at their stuff and while they weren’t high end makers, their paws looked fine and they offered to complete it within the admittedly tight deadline. I already had some fur left over from when I tried to make the fursuit and we agreed for a lower price ( £80) if I sent this fur over. A day before the deadline ( April 4th ) I received a phone photo of the hand paws. They looked a little rough, but I assumed it was just the camera quality. I later received a photo of ductape covered feet paws. They looks a little odd and I asked if the tape was pulling the toes apart, giving them a wider look. She assured me they were fine so I continued with the commission a little apprehensive. Then a myriad of personal and family problems for the maker reared up, from a pet passing away, to a parent being very ill and then robbery. There were also problems with the dye not adhering to the resin claws that I’d asked for. She said she would contact the maker and complain. Every so often, I’d ask for updates and get told that there was a problem and she couldn’t send photos. After the April 4th deadline, I’d hoped that the paws would be ready for Confuzzled in May. No such luck, I ended up going suitless which was kinda sad. 7 months later, I was promised an update within 2 weeks. No update came and I was fed up. I asked for a partial refund ( as some of the commission was complete) and for what was made to be sent to me. She agreed and the £5 refund along with the unattached claws and paws where sent to me. The paws arrived quickly but in very poor condition, which I’ll detail in sections; Feet Paws – They are way too wide and off model, looking more like duck feet. There is glue blobs, holes between the fur and the sole, but the worse thing is the smell. They stink badly of dog so much that it’s as if the animal has sat on the foam or fur. I reported this to the maker ( as some of my family suffer from allergies), she explained that the fur and foam was kept away from the animals and the only way they’d smell is if she’d passed it on from petting the animals. However, there is white and brown animal fur on the paws as well as general fluff. This hair cannot be from when I supplied the fur as we have no pets. Hand Paws – very roughly made, though they are incomplete, they too are smelly. They also fit ill. Claws– These are not polymorph plastic, but instead hand sculpted Fimo clay and have finger prints and dirt in the clay. I googled the plastic, which appears to be a shiney, usually white product similar to glue gun glue. In the end, I am very disappointed. I don’t think I can even sell these items without thorough repair and cleaning. She seems to be a young maker and as such, isn’t very professional yet. Edit: Update 2/10/2015 I contacted the maker a couple of days ago about the animal fur with pictures. I asked her again if the animal had been in contact with the paws and she said the fur ( which is clearly animal with colouring and tapering... plus, y know, the stink!) was faux fur from another suit she was making.

WHEN: On June 11th, I was tagged into a posting in a Furry-Centered Art Group on Facebook by some personal friends who are moderators there. The reason is irrelevant (and I also cannot remember it), but I decided to commission the OP (Ann Allen) as they were showing off about 10 or so completed chibi pieces they had done for a group of people they were staying with at a con. PROOF & EXPLANATION: All correspondence is/was through Facebook PM, and follows as such, censored parts are her e-mail and my work address-- First Contact (June 11th): http://i.imgur.com/CSvIpsp.png I give her my commission details in PM after arranging for a commission in the original post in the Facebook Group, we chat a bit about our jobs (mostly omitted from screens as it's not pertinent) and I leave her alone to it. I ask later if she has an FA, she ignores me. The conversation picks back up nearly a month later JULY 6th where she asks me AGAIN what styles I want: http://i.imgur.com/vuOnC9v.png I reiterate that I'd like just the regular, simple chibis: http://i.imgur.com/w4GFurp.png The next day (July 7th) she asks me if I'm picking up at AC, when I never mentioned anything about going to AC prior to this nor on Facebook: http://i.imgur.com/rROL5Wn.png I inform her that I haven't been to AC since 2012 since I generally don't have the kind of funds it takes, and I again give her my address to have them shipped: http://i.imgur.com/t0PI0IN.png As you can see, the conversation ends there. I ask her again on the 21st of July and again a week later on the 28th of July for updates. I get silence. At this point it's been over a month I've been waiting for two tiny, very simple chibis that I've been asked for details on more than once despite her being active on her Facebook and posting other commissions/personal art. She had been very talkative at initial contact and then for some days after until I started asking for updates, then I started getting silence. Finally, on the 28th of July I asked for another update and postured a Beware. She sends me a photo of an empty iPhone Box: http://i.imgur.com/43VVXvk.png She claims then that her phone was broken despite never having made mention of this anywhere: http://i.imgur.com/L815Pkf.png I am sympathetic, she AGAIN asks me what I ordered. I tell her, re-send our refs. On August 13th (now it's been a little over two months) I ask her for an update: http://i.imgur.com/RJq5qnF.png Then again today (August 19th) I message her, and despite seeing her posting on her personal Facebook and being active on messenger, she continues to ignore me. I believe I am now out of the range of chargeback, and for $7 I'm not exactly going to kick and scream, but I REALLY did want my art, I genuinely like her work but I'm not the kind of person that likes to be strung along. I browsed her Facebook Wall a bit earlier and saw other people posting, asking for updates and replies to messages so it seems she's doing this to almost all her clientele while posting commissions she got for herself, etc.
  17. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/846553.html WHO: Erro / AlterForge WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/erro http://www.furaffinity.net/user/alterforge WHAT: A digitigrade fullsuit commission. WHEN: Concerns first arose around January 2015 when I was informed my suit was behind schedule. Fur had only been ordered for the project that same month, https://dl.dropbox.com/s/66r297amnvxs5gd/Skype Fur Chat.png?dl=0 Early into February I was informed I'd only have a partial suit available for my due date of February 21st, Texas Furry Fiesta. PROOF: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/5zv4p2t06sqww50/PayPal Proof.jpg?dl=0 Contained is my original transaction for the suit, a one thousand dollar deposit. The refund was issued after requesting I send it as a gift instead of "goods and services." I have no log of this exact request but the refund was issued on his part and resent after funds were added from my bank account. Hopefully that can be somewhat conclusive. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/d7fc033qdr1g6kn/IMG_20150220_135933.jpg?dl=0 As of my due date, this was the only progress he had to show. It is also the only picture I have of any form of progress. This artist is against progress pics as he feels they aren't representative of his final quality. EXPLAIN: I need to preface this by mentioning that this commission was originally taken one year ago from a (former) close friend. The standard ToS and contract wasn't really brought into the picture due to this relationship. The PayPal transactions are the most concrete evidence I have of the initial agreement--A fursuit maker taking fursuit amounts of money. That being said, upon receiving payment he'd informed me his queue was empty and the due date was not an issue. We'd be attending that convention together again anyway. For most of 2014 I got very little in the way of evidence it was being completed besides the occasional "It's being worked on." and "It'll be done in time." All of his payment was given far in advance as a means to help him out during a moving crisis. Since he had no queue, there was no line for that to put me to the front of. Into February he'd told me I would only have a partial suit available (unfortunately communicated through a skype call. I wasn't thinking about logging my steps at this point.) The subject was largely avoided by him at the convention. As shown above, the only progress was a few foam blocks, and it wasn't until weeks after I was able to get in touch. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/d35u4co8qtx1up5/SL Recent Conversation.jpg?dl=0 After failing to hear back from many messages, I dropped back on trying to around once every two weeks in an attempt to be reasonable, but this most recent update that it won't be resumed until after May was what finally brought me here. He had accepted around an extra 175 dollars--money he owed me from the hotel stay--to continue working on the suit after he returned home. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/pbu17xx403fbksp/SkypeLog2.png?dl=0 Again, it's not exactly the most formal "Do this by then or else..." But an understanding was there. By mid March he still had not completed the head he was working on at the convention in place of mine. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/r50cwuzcr3qy711/SL Recent Conversation 2.jpg?dl=0 It's still worth noting that commission was taken after mine as well. Another example of the several failed communications. SL logs aren't the clearest things in the world, but he simply never responded to the message. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/b7bh24s2rao231r/SL Recent Conversation 3.jpg?dl=0 Edit: 7/15/15 -- I've just returned from Anthrocon 2015 which was our newest deadline for completion on the suit. The time leading up to today has unfortunately been filled with even more trouble and I had to attend without a suit again. Discussing the new ETA - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/rb45ftu1r5ius42/AC Deadline.png?dl=0 Our interactions have grown increasingly short over the months. Just about all of the following are a good example of the breakdown in communication. Missing the original ship date - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/s5pkmwqifmck2ex/June no deadline.png?dl=0 Asked to ship overnight because of the extreme time crunch - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/vrnlujha7qthqwu/Overnight Interact.png?dl=0 PayPal payment for $100 - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/0x7wvlnjlk2l1an/PayPal Statement.png?dl=0 It probably goes without saying here, but he gladly accepted that 100 dollars and then didn't deliver me a product. I requested progress pics after the second week of unsuccessful shipment. Didn't go that well - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/jd7codiogwjnu67/ProgPics June.png?dl=0 I'm not about to say I've handled all of these interactions as well as I possibly could, but under the circumstances it was difficult to be perfectly patient. Calling me out on this very Artist Beware - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/db8et9tf44ea8b5/AB Callout.png?dl=0 This is where he just shut down on me. Now, you've all read this. Nowhere in this article have I suggested or complained about my suit not being completed in 6 months. I knew about a one-year completion from the start and never questioned that. Completely dismissing my issues in this article was just outrageous, and citing that many makers charge more and take more time, after this long, is just outright untrue. If someone's going to take 2 years they mention it ahead of time and it's due to popular demand and a large queue. Plenty of fursuiters I met this weekend reassured me of that. It pains me to have to update this article with yet more bad news, but I've been left with little choice.

Service was friendly; the artist was approachable and seemed to be trying to endevouring to turn service around. A number of smaller commission (3 in total) were made to Kannos by Baybea previously. These commissions had a good turn around with no issues on the result and payment was requested only after the final image was ready. Due to having no credit card; Baybea uses my paypal account to make payments. Based on this positive experience Baybea then commissioned the Full Color Character Reference Commission. This was agreed on over Skype approximately October 2013; (No logs available - Baybea's Skype logs only go back about 6 months due to a laptop rebuild). Either during this commission request discussion or around the same time on Skype Kannos made mention of financial issues. Baybea responded by paying for the commission up front instead of only after image completion. Payment was accepted by Kannos (proof above). Starting the 8th of November; Kannos over two journals linked about ("Birthday.." and "Thanks." describes some financial distress which including a charge back from Paypal of around ~1200USD; leaving their paypal account in the negative by ~900USD. To alleviate this issue a day later on the 10th of November Kannos starts a 2 Character Realism Auction - ANYTHING GOES as an emergency commission. It is noted payment is required before the 18tth of November to cover car payments. Encouraged by Baybea (due to her positive experiences with Kannos and what seemed a friendly rapport) I request Baybea to bid on the auction for myself; bidding up to the minimum required for full body pieces. Over email I note I need time to get the required information together for this commission however to make sure the car payment is not missed I would pay up front. This transaction is completed on the 13th November (see above). Unfortunately at this point I have both a combination of health and work issues that prevent me from returning to Kannos with all the required information to complete this information until approximately April 2014. During this time Baybea keeps in contact with Kannos over updates to her full character commission every couple of months. More issues affect Kannos life which are reported on IB via journals. However Kannos would regularly promise sketches of the initial reference sheet normally within the next week (usually after the following weekend). None of these promises were fulfilled. Progress is apparently being made on Baybea's Character Reference but either due to location or other personal issues Kannos is not able to show any updates to Baybea. This continues after I have given Kannos all the information for my requests via email. Requests for updates now include my commission as well; again with promises of sketches in a week or so time. Requests for updates by Baybea start to not get responded to on both Skype and IB. After over a month of no response at the end of May 2014 I request contact by Kannos with 72 hours or I would consider Kannos to have no intention of fulfilling the commission. As the 72 hour deadline hit I finally managed to get Kannos on Skype on the 2nd of June 2014 (once again unfortunately my Skype logs are unavailable due to computer rebuild about 8 months ago). I note I am unsatisfied by the lack of responses and also the multiple promises of sketches. During this conversation I note I am an administrator for a number of Furry websites and communities (by this point I know they have already been banned from FA). Kannos responds by explaining they are currently under a large amount of stress due to personal issues; they promise to catch up on the outstanding sketches. I agree to not proceed with any further action at this point. Kannos then Skypes with Baybea noting that I upset them and they are uncomfortable with dealing with me further as they are worried I will "do" something to them. It is agreed that Baybea will act as the point of contact from this point forward so long as Kannos keeps with regular updates. 16th Aug 2014, 8:38pm - 19th Feb 2015, 9:37am - IB - Private Message Conversation from OLD account Kannos The above IB private message log pick up at this point. Over the remaining months Kannos continues to make promises of updates after exceedingly long gaps of no communication despite update requests. 21st Feb 2015, 6:51pm - present - IB - Private Message Conversation from NEW account Kannosart On the 21st of February Kannos contacts Baybea on a new IB account "Kannosart". The reason given by Kannos is that they are having problems logging into their other account "Kannos". Baybea responds by noting that and requesting an update on everything with a note that she is having pressure placed on her to see some of the promised sketches. After nearly a month of no response on the 19th of March Kannos responds with: "Sorry I don't have time for commissions anymore with work, I'm going to have to cancel it." Baybea acquiesces Kannos' cancellation request and proceeds to note the amounts needed to refund both Baybea and myself with the Paypal account used (mine in both cases). Kannos after 10 days responds on Saturday 28th March with: "I don't have the money to refund. I'm barely able to afford rent 😕 rant about me to A_B all you want I don't care anymore." Baybea then notes Kannos response; notes that she would have been happy to work out a payment scheme but will do as Kannos requests and also look into legal options. She then also notes she would advise myself of the response. It is therefore with some disappointment that we arrive here. UPDATE - 2015-04-11: The account "Kannosart" on IB has been determined by IB staff to be an impostor. Baybea has responded to a journal post by the original "Kannos" account to contact via email and is following up.
  19. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/806042.html G'day, A_B. I only just found out about this community recently. My situation is a few years old, but still on-going. WHO: AlphaSempaiWolvieSyxx WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/alphasempaiwolviesyxx/ WHAT: I commisisioned a pair of black, fur-lined, leather ankle cuffs. WHEN: I sent her payment on August 30, 2012. I checked back in with her in December, 2012; January, 2013; March, 2013; and May, 2013. At least, those are dates I have screenshots of. All my phone records have been lost. I ran into her at RMFC in August, 2014, after which I restored communication to attempt to get a refund. PROOF: EXPLAIN: Wolvie was in town to spend time with her boyfriend, who was my roommate at the time. She showed off some cuffs she made, and offered to make me some for only $40 for a pair. I agreed. She left for home, and I sent money after her. She showed me a design mock-up (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8811669/), but it never got any further than just a drawing in MSPaint. I asked every so often for WIP photos, but never got one. At one point she told me the cuffs were complete, but couldn't send them because ____. She gave so many reasons over the years (or excuses; however you want to look at it), such as, the post office is closed after I get off work, I can't afford postage for Reasons, my car is broken, etc. Fairly believable explanations, but after so many, I could only reason that they were lies, and I wasn't going to get what I paid for. She offered to refund me in the form of Paypal (which I don't have) or in art. I told her I would take check or money order, or the cuffs, but not art; I paid for the cuffs, not art. I dropped out of touch with her after a while, after realizing she used my friendship with my roommate to score some money from me. Recently, after running into her at a local furry convention this year (August 2014), I got back in touch with her at the very beginning of October. She offered to mail a refund AND the cuffs... but, as usual, I got nothing but the same excuses routine I experienced earlier. Beware this artist! RESOLVED: Wolvie contacted me 21 May 2016, offering a full refund on Paypal, which I accepted

Cost of inclusion for the image was £10 per character. When: He offered the group picture sometime around May 2014. A month later on the 22nd of June 2014 I sent him payment for inclusion in the group picture. After a two month wait, with no update, I asked to be refunded. It is now November the 5th 2014, there's no progress on the picture and still no sign of refund. Proof: Discussing payment: http://i.imgur.com/1HJaOkv.png Proof of payment sent: http://i.imgur.com/JTk1E2n.png Claim of progress and denial of showing the image, through a friend: http://i.imgur.com/IEvbrlI.png (Using the excuse if it wanting to be a surprise.) Messages I received after asking for a refund: http://i.imgur.com/ykyboSi.png http://i.imgur.com/irJp603.png (It's now been far longer than a few weeks.) Explain: A group picture was offered to furries in an online community in a facebook group sometime in May. I cannot recall the exact date as this person's facebook profile was taken down many times through facebook's new "false names policy", thus ending up with many original posts, that I would have liked to screen shot, being lost. A month later on the 22nd of June I sent out payment to this individual for inclusion in the group picture, costing me £10. Two months went by without a single mention as to how this group commission was progressing, by now he'd already produced many personal pieces, spending time on them instead of commissions he owed. I had a friend of mine ask if he could see the progress of the image. The artist refused to show a progress image claiming he wished for it to be "a surprise" Having been asked by my friend, the artist then made a post to the group, expressing how he'd completed the sketch for the group and the image was progressing well. On this post, I commented stating my annoyance of having no update in a two month time period and asked if my character could be excluded and if I could receive a refund, this is when he messaged me. Through these messages he claimed that the personal pieces were to improve his work for commissions, he also revealed that he owed many people money, not just myself at this point, and that he had already spent the money received for the commission, despite not having delivered what he was paid for. It has been 3 months since I asked for a refund and I've still yet to receive it. I've asked many times and even sent a payment request through paypal, which he has ignored. In these three months, he's continued to work on personal art as well as having spent money on unnecessary items and on train tickets, traveling to see friends. He's even had others spend money on him at expensive restaurants since he "couldn't afford" to pay for himself. This issue is still ongoing and I thought that, by this point, it would have been resolved, but sadly it as not and so I thought I should make a post here to warn others about this individual. I am very frustrated and disappointed by this stage and would certainly suggest that, if you would like art delivered in a timely fashion, you should seek out another artist.

WHEN: April 18th until now. PROOF: Proof is below. ( WARNING: Some images and/or descriptions are nsfw ) EXPLAIN: Some of the conversations are missing because it was over her livestream but I hope I have enough proof. April 18th: I was browsing furaffinity looking for pwyw streams and I saw Gable, I noticed her account was new but she had really good art so I thought I would hop in stream and see if I could get a commission. She was doing "sketches" that where 10 per character. I asked her if I could get a slot and she said yes. I ended up paying 20 for a two character slot. As I was watching I realized I would want another slot from her which she agreed to so I paid 30 for a Three character slot as well. ( She sent me the paypal in stream. ) Proof that there was a stream https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5683605/ http://i.imgur.com/409GOKR.png http://i.imgur.com/m1hwrg9.png http://i.imgur.com/xbuZluy.png She had finished the sketch she was already working on but since she takes a bit to draw she said she would continue the stream the next day. April 19th: The next day as I was watching her draw I had another idea ( and since she hadn't worked on any of my commissions at all yet) I noted her asking if I could change the idea for the drawings into 3 commissions. 1 single character and 2 couple characters. She agreed because she hadn't worked on my commissions yet. http://i.imgur.com/6QVxcqO.png http://i.imgur.com/xbE7BTH.png She did a person in front of me then did 1 of the commissions I paid for. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13258105/ (NSFW) April 22nd I didn't hear from her until then she posted a journal saying that she had to put her 15 year old cat down and that her being online would be very scarce. I know what it's like to loose a pet so I didn't reply. http://i.imgur.com/komFPgv.png April 25th. She came back posting a journal about how she has a new kitten and was talking about how happy she was. She didn't mention anything about a stream so I commented saying how happy I was for her and asked if she would be streaming any time soon she replied saying that she would but the kitten was scared of noises so she may not be playing music. http://i.imgur.com/dDmVCy6.png She posted another journal saying that she was indeed going to be streaming and would be working on my other two commissions but because she hadn't drawn for 5 days from depression that her "Hand went wonky" and she would be doing a warmup before she worked on my commissions. http://i.imgur.com/gK7DmVM.png While I was waiting for her warmup to be done my friend and I got into an arguement that was suppose to be in one of the pictures and my other friend wanted to be in it instead so I once again ( for the last time ) asked if I could change the idea. She replied with it's okay -she hadn't started on this one either- and told me she was about finished with her warmup. http://i.imgur.com/MazooxJ.png http://i.imgur.com/u7payJ9.png This I do not have screencap proof of but it's relevant to the story. She had started on my image after posting her warmup https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13307174/ ( Nsfw, she had wrote that her warmup had taken longer than expected because instead of a scribble like planned she got into it and it turned into full fledged shaded "sketch" which takes about 2 hours or more ) She had got to the sketching phase and was lining of my second commission when she had to brb because "the kitten was doing something" and she had to check on it. People behind me and I waited about 1-2 hours in stream before she came back and said "I had to flip a matress and now I'm really tired from doing it. I'll continue this later D8" April 26th she posts that the kitten has fleas https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5706395/ and that she would be streaming that night. Neither me or any of the other commissioners hear from her again after that ( She didn't stream that night ) May 8th. She post a journal saying that her internet had went out and that it's back to normal. The kitten no longer had fleas and at the bottom she wrote that she would be finishing my sketches THEN finishing the commissions that had already been paid for before she started taking these sketches. ( Should have set off red alarms but I was so happy that she was back I didn't think about it. ) I replied that I was glad she was back and that I truthfully worried that she ran out on us I also asked about the next stream and she replied saturday. http://i.imgur.com/7pOowyA.png http://i.imgur.com/ojuYhop.png May 9th. She proceeded to upload two pieces of personal art. One of her fursona another a drawn version of the kitten mentioned above. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13413137/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13421706/ May 10th. She did not stream like she said she would but she did upload what I'm assuming was either an over due commission ( Giving her the benifit of the doubt ) https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13428583/ ( Nsfw and warning gore ) May 16th. I hadn't heard any word from her so I decided to note her. I asked when she was planning on streaming. She read it but didn't reply until three days later. http://i.imgur.com/9xJ13ti.png May 19th. She had replied stating she had, had family problems and that she would "Steam tonight or tomorrow" or I should let her know a day that is good for me. http://i.imgur.com/hEYIQDb.png I replied saying that if she couldn't stream today or tomarrow to send me a note when she could and that I'm on furaffinity daily so I would probably see it. http://i.imgur.com/9gCFlV8.png She replied saying she was sorry again for the wait and another excuse saying that another reason she hasn't been hopping on is that her parents didn't know she was furry and that she had to do it secretly. http://i.imgur.com/kR1r3JV.png I haven't heard from her since. May 31st I sent her a note asking if she could by any chance get the commissions done by june 13th because they where suppose to be done orignally within a week, then time was extended to a month. http://i.imgur.com/xGIhaVL.png June 8th I did not get a response from her ( Note was unread ) so I sent another titled "I would like to request a refund" and told her I meant no offense but since she seems so busy that I would like my 30 ( out of 50 ) dollars back for the commissions that wheren't done and gave her my new paypal. http://i.imgur.com/Ul9cBaV.png June 18th Still no response both notes unread I left a shout on her page ( in case her notes where disabled and for other people she may owe money to to see they're not the only one. ) Saying that I would be reporting her here if I don't get a response at the end of the month. http://i.imgur.com/hACJ6hn.png ( Also shows a kinda annoyed "._." message I left June 1st. ) Proof notes are unread. http://i.imgur.com/VLEgcbn.png Sofurry I had also left a shout on her page on sofurry asking where she was in case she left furaffinity but I don't have the exact date it just says "Posted 2 months ago" http://i.imgur.com/tZ3knu0.png I honestly just want the refund for the art she did not do. I feel sorry for the people that had already paid before me as well as the ones behind me. Current Mood:annoyed
  22. Hello there! So a few months ago me and a friend of mine where commissioning a few people in the Artist Ally at Texas Furry Fiesta On the Saturday We went to DAQs booth as we both liked his vintage style. I ordered an inked traditional piece with one character which came out to $50 USD I paid with cash at his both as he had a sign taped next to the price list stating "cash only please" I paid cash and went about my day. The con went well and after I got emails from all the other artists I commissioned except him, I waited a bit longer and still no response, I got a bit suspicious and worried as all the other artists I commission where finished and sent me completed works, all of these where digital and DAQ was traditional which was a bit more odd as I should have been done around the same time if not a bit earlier. I messaged my friend as well to see if they had gotten any response back from him in regards to their piece and they where coming up empty handed as well. I decided to contact one of the emails that where listed to see if I was queued or he at least knows about my commission but that did not work as well. (I'd like to note as well the friend I was with also did the same thing to no response.) I waited a bit longer and still got no response from both email and other forms of communication. At this point I went with a last ditch effort and contacted the head organiser of the artist ally to see if they might have a different email then the one I was provided, they where kind enough to help me and sent an email on my behalf to the one they had on file, and they to came up empty handed as they never got a repose back when they sent the email out on May 20th. At this point I was getting more worried, a few people mentioned to me that what if someone was impersonating him at the convention and informed me to make a public tweet on the matter to clear things up I did so as well on June 7th and have still not gotten a repose back. However during so I did find a comment on Furaffinity from another artist in the artist alley saying he will be making the trip with DAQ as he will be picking him up from a bus station in Texas. As of writing this on June 20th There has been no response from either of the avenues I or other parties have reached out to him on. I am not to sure what to do, and I am wondering if the convention has some kind of Claus or protocol for this where I am able to get my money back, if not it would be a shame to not get some form of recoupment and I hope this artist will be further banned from participating in TFF And now some photos Here is a photo of the price list on his booth, I got the inked version, to the left you can see a bit of the cash only sign, no receipt was given as well Here is the email I sent out to DAQ, just a simple hey just checking in email And here is the email exchange with the head of the TFF artist alley. (big thanks to them for helping) Furaffinity posts confirming he was in attendance there And lastly my public tweet seeing if I can reach out to him that way. Ironically I found his Twitter when he liked a piece I commissioned at TFF, his Twitter is still active as well And that is currently it, so far I have had no responses in awhile and I am hoping something a bit more public will be able to help out but idk. Hopefully this beware is alright and have a good day!

Update 2: 30/01/14: It's been 7 months since the refund was agreed. Only $260 so far of the $645 has been refunded, with the last payment being 4 months ago. Iko still does not keep in contact unless a shout and note is left, which receives an apology but no dates of when the next parts will be refunded. Update 1: Since the AB, Iko has agreed to a full refund in weekly increments. Will update when it is complete. WHO: Iko, Sierra Tudor, Kay the Dragon, Pathetic Dragon Studios WHERE: http://furaffinity.net/user/Iko, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/patheticdragon, http://www.furbuy.com/seller/Iko.html?as=a WHAT: A Nightfury Fursuit for $850 on 2010/04/29 WHEN (with proof): $410 Downpayment on 2010/05/05, $86 materials on 2010/12/12. EXPLAIN: In 2010 Iko posted an auction on Furbuy for a Nightfury fursuit, and though she did not have many recent good examples of her work, she was really excited to be spending more time and working on Fursuits, and the concept art posted of what she intended to make was looking really nice. We had a lengthy email discussion to confirm the features, design and looks, and the initial downpayment was sent. I bought two pairs of good shoes & created a DTD, and shipped them all at total extra cost of $145. As much as I really wanted to give her a chance, and I was really patient during those three years, it was a frustrating and prolonged flop of a project, with lost costume parts and need for constant requests for updates. :c Timeline of issues: 2010/05/05: Payment sent. 2010/09/08: Asked for update: Bodysuit sewn, needs zippers/spikes/airbrushing. Said she has been slow because she doesn't know what to do next. We discuss and agree on features and design looks again. Motivation issues mentioned because someone had criticized her work. 2010/10/05: Asked for update: Foam base for indoor paws and tail done. 2010/12/12: Iko emailed over some pics of the head in progress, mentioned another $86 of materials needed to be bought, sent via paypal. LEDs for the head almost done. 2011/04/13: Asked for update: long period of no contact: Iko mentioned work was slow because she was unsure what to do about zippers (Handpaw and head zippers). Iko asked if I was willing to send the second payment, but I declined until the suit was ready to ship, due to some small worries about the lack of updates and progress photos. 2011/08/18: Asked for update: Iko says most of suit done, still waiting to install zippers, make outdoor feet and wings. Sewing machine broken. 2011/11/22: Iko emailed: Says it's nearly finished, but is tweaking it after someone helped model it. Apoligises for how long it has taken due to how complex the suit is. Sewing markings. 2012/04/07: Iko emailed: She had lost the duct tape dummy due to leaving it out when apartment cleaners came. Requested I send a second one, but I declined, though I provided detailed measurements instead. (I was also wary at why it was still needed after the bodysuit was said to have been completed.) Said progress is slow because of complexity and working on four other fursuits at the same time. 2012/07/03: Asked for update: I requested pics to see everything in progress, as I wanted to see exactly how she has been doing. Iko mentions she doesn't have the bodysuit due to a recent move, but will get pics soon. 2012/10/03: Asked for update, multiple emails before getting one: Bodysuit & rest of costume has been in storage in another city due to a recent move. Promises Christmas shipping date. (After how long and dragged out this had become, I started getting more insistent about regular contact, emails, updates and pictures) 2012/10/30: Asked for update: Bodysuit still in storage, until she has free time to go and get it. Zipper problems cited as reason for slowness again. 2012/12/04: Asked for update: Iko said she has lost the bodysuit, cannot be found anywhere. Again requests another DTD so she can begin making a new one. (I really didin't have enough trust in her left after all the previous delays.... to make another DTD and ship it over). I politely declined and she gave a reference sheet explaining all the measurements she would need. Sais she still intended to get it done by Christmas, but that it's probably going to be late. (Emails become unresponsive/sparse, so we start communicating on FA Notes) 2013/02/26: Asked for update: Iko said her water heater exploded, and was afraid of mildew affecting costumes, so didin't want to bring them out for work yet until it was fixed. (I was a little sad and frustrated with the issues so far, so I started requesting fortnightly updates and requested a firm deadline of when the suit will be done) 2013/03/04: Iko came to the conclusion she doesn't have the skill, time or motivation to continue working on the suit, and apoligised profusely about lack of contact and unprofessionalisim. Offers to send me all the materials she has available, including the Head, tail and one set of feetpaws, as well as a $100 refund. She says even though her auction said the downpayment isn't refundable, she'll be nice and offer the token refund anyway. (Due to how few parts there were, and the head not even being complete, it wasn't worth me asking her to ship them over, so I ask her to list the parts on furbuy and refund it all.) 2013/06/13: After direct questions & requests for exact payment dates, Iko mentions she will not be giving a full refund (FA note transcript), as her auction says the downpayment is not refundable, but she is willing to be nice and will cover half. After 2-3 months of notes & eventual direct questions of when and what she intends to refund on FA, it turns out her idea of the refund was $320, given in 5 $64 installments over the next months. I was out $645 at this point, and she is adamant that she is not responsible for the other half of the refund, due to materials and it saying on her auction that downpayment is non refundable. I'm really sad the project ended this way :c I do understand life gets in the way at times, but the final staw in deciding to post this was her refusal to offer a full refund, even in light of how many years it took for Iko to put her hands up and say she doesn't have the skill or motivation to continue the project. I also wouldn't like to see anyone else experience what I did during this project. It is also a painful lesson that researching your seller and seeing how professional they are, in both communication & their existing work is really -really- important. I sadly gave the benefit of the doubt her few fursuit examples were just because she was just starting up... but that is no substitute for seeing real professionalisim & ability in completed & delivered works. I also understand now that $850 is a very low price for full suits like this, including wings, digitigrade, leds and features, which I should have saw as a warning flag too.
  24. I commissioned Angela on Furry Amino for a chibi fullbody on a base on the 4th of March 2021. The commissioned was $8. I lost the original thread of messages (their messages) since their profile was banned on Furry Amino. When a profile/account gets banned, all their messages get deleted as well. I sent payment on March 4 to Angela (payment receipt below). After a while, I try to reach ask her for more progress (if any), and whether my commission was completed yet. This was when I found out that their profile has been banned. Since their profile was banned, I tried emailing them on the PayPal email I sent the money to, but there was no response on the email (at the time). So, I asked a curator (a staff of Furry Amino) if I could take a look at their profile to see what other social media they're on, and they gave me a screenshot of their profile. I noticed that in their bio, there is a text that says "angxlavex" (the fancy text). I tried looking on different sites, and found that they are mostly active on toyhou.se, so I sent them a message. I sent her a message on 13 May, saying that she still owes me a $8 chibi. I asked her for a refund because so far, it seems like she wasn't going to complete the commission at all. 😞 She then replied (quite promptly) saying that she doesn't "have the toyhou.se usernames of everyone who had commissioned me", even though I never received any kind of contact from her (she never tried to reach out to me on my email on paypal, or literally anywhere else.. my username is 2DFIEND on every site btw). I replied, saying that surely she would have a list somewhere? And I asked for a refund, but she ghosted me, even though she already opened the message. They have opened and (I assume) read my message asking for a refund- if she hasn't opened my message, the text would be pink. I sent her another message on May 19, which basically has the same contents as the image above (asking for a refund, transaction ID and date). The message that was sent on May 19 is pink, which means she hasn't read it while the other one, she has opened it. Within the same hour of sending that message, she read my message, but still, no reply. They changed their username from angxlavex to inactiveaccont as of 18/5/2021: Update on the email as of 25/5/2021: I got a reply back on the email that was attached to the PayPal account, and I was told that Angela was not the owner of the account, and that the actual owner (the person emailing me back) has been letting Angela use it. He also told me his name (blue) and Angela's real name (pink), I blocked them all out for privacy. Proof that https://www.facebook.com/angela.vexx and https://www.facebook.com/purr.via is the same person as angxlavex on toyhou.se- the first two screenshots show that the same artwork was posted to toyhou.se within a week of each other. With the other two screenshots, angxlavex posted the EDITED version on her toyhou.se way back in February, and Purr Via used the unedited version as her profile picture on 19 May, and also has a copy of the unwatermarked image of the edited version. TLDR; I commissioned Angela, waited for 2+ months, they gave me no updates and they ended up getting banned on Furry Amino. I tried to reach out to her on toyhou.se (because she made 0 effort to try and look for me), and I asked her for her a refund but she changed her toyhou.se username, and didn't reply to my message even though she opened it. Basically, she ran away after I asked for a refund.
  25. In the same boat - this fella took almost $800 in payments from me, and I didn't see ANY progress. Eventually saw the "closing shop, contact me for a refund" posts and did as instructed - I said I'd be fine with a repayment plan. And then... he disappeared. Went to my first furry since Covid earlier this year, and knowing I don't have a partial to look forward to, or the backup funds to commission someone else, really sapped my joy. I don't have a loving relationship with my body, and was deeply looking forward to having a "skin" I was happy in. I'm so sorry for everyone else who got fucked over like this 😞
