About Me

  1. Yes I did open a dispute through paypal, but i fear that i may have shot myself in the foot due to choosing the "report unauthorised access my account" option instead of "i received an item that wasn't as described" option. Before you ask, I opened it, enraged, after initially finding out that I had wasted £50 on what is essentially a "knock off Picasso". I have recently sent an eail enquiring about how to report an artist to the sites owners and i'm currently waiting on their reply.
  2. This is a real shame, I'm sorry you ended up with a traced piece. Tbh a LOT of the stuff on that particular site always screams 'traced' when I browse there, and the fact that user galleries only really exist as footnotes of the auctions themselves probably doesn't help when it comes to looking at their consistency over time. How good are they when it comes to site management of known tracers?
  3. I have also had issues with this artist not responding to notes and failing to provide updates. I paid for a commission back in November 21, 2018. Since then the artist is still taking new commissions.
  4. Sad. Her art is really nice but the attitude and the hostility she showed is really off putting. I wouldn't want to hire her.
  5. Kei

    Beware: Alirras

I agree, I'd definitely report them to the site [and any other sites you may know they're doing business on with traced art].
  6. Just wanted to add that this user is known for tracing, she's banned from Furaffinity because she was tracing Dauxycheek's bases and selling them after she blocked her from doing business with her. She always makes new accounts so be on the lookout.
  7. I get that some people use tracing as a crutch to get themselves started, but it's not a helpful crutch. There are some very glaring and painful anatomy issues there that carry over into the traced piece, underscoring the fact that in tracing artwork from others, the tracing artist really only learns bad habits. I'm sorry that you came to find out after the fact that the artist you commissioned traced the piece that you purchased from them.
  8. Yeah echoing this. I've un-followed him now. While life can be messy and throw us all a curve ball, that's no excuse to take such a tone with people. After all we aren't the ones making the exchange difficult. Not to mention that in the OP's case, he showed no signs of actually fulfilling his side of the contractual agreement. Beware well warranted @Digitalpotato.
  9. I took my 15 year old granddaughter to her first fur con on October 28th. After circling the Dealers Den many times she commissioned this artist to do a badge of her fursona. She paid Zrcalo $15 cash for a gold badge. A photo was taken of her fursona and information was written down in their ledger, ie name, address, special details. Communications have all taken place afterwards on Twitter. I think the copies of this communication will speak for its self. As of today, Jan 7, 2019, the last communications I sent, Dec. 30, 2018, has been ignored by Zrcalo. At this point other furries have come forward to compensate my granddaughter with their kindness. I do not want anything from Zrcalo. I want others to be aware of their unprofessional business practice.
  10. I've actually had a run in with him too. Except I never once had a reply back after the idea was settled and payment was sent. This was through Twitter as well.
  11. You're way outside the chargeback window; you were outside of it when you sent the email in December, actually. But you could have opened a paypal dispute without writing out an AB, and I wish you had. Unfortunately, short of going through your bank or your credit card company, you're probably not gonna see your money, which is horrible. I agree with contacting FC to let them know about this, I despise when cons don't protect their attendees, so hopefully they do something.

    Zrcalo

It's rough when things come up that impact your ability to get your work done, but I'm a little confused as how to how your cat getting sick affected your organization of your commissions? These two things should not be connected in any meaningful way, other than in that taking care of your cat put a delay on your commissions. If your organizational process is somehow tied up in your cat, you need to disconnect that ASAP so that this doesn't happen again. You owe it to yourself and your commissioners.
  13. Zrcalo didn't send me a badge, period. Even after Zrcalo pm me an image of the badge he thought was ours and I told him it was not, later he said he sent it, meaning the badge that wasn't ours. Communications were totally lacking on his part. I agree in any dealings with sending any kind of merchandise, there should be tracking. I said I didn't want anything from Zrcalo, but IF a refund is sent to my granddaughter, we will donate it to a charity. Zrcalo has all the information needed to make a refund.
  14. Oh my. This is particularly frustrating; especially after meeting them face to face as well. And such a price. :c I hope you can get the refund.

    Beware: Kircai

We've been in operation elsewhere for well over ten years, so please don't apologize! We thank you for coming here and taking the time to speak on your beware. I will be issuing a resolved tag.
  16. Yikes, already their tone makes me super wary of them. They sound super aggressive and quite annoyed, definetly someone to avoid.

    Beware: Kircai

Ahh, so that's what you mean by filled out the form wrong. Contact should have been made with the client immediately when their written prompt didn't match the form. So this boils down to lack of communication and lengthy wait time, but a single char is what the client ordered.
  18. Oh, hey Strawberry! That's a good idea! Attached below is proof of the client's payment for $35, (personal info censored) as well as the google form with the stated prices. And yeah, this does ultimately boil down to "I said X! No, you said Y! Well, you're rude! No, you're rude!" petty argument at this point. ^.^'
  19. It sucks you don't have the form, so it's a bit he said she said. Most artist charge extra for multiple characters, do you as well? It's not fully proof, but if you can show that he paid the same amount as a 1 character commission, it might help to show that you weren't commissioned to do more then one, or at least show some miscommunication happened and that the client did actually receive what he paid for, even if it sucks it's not what was expected.
  20. Actually, I was able to find the original post with my information and can confirm that I linked the proper ref/file : It is NSFW, warning, if you look up the URL.
