About Me

  1. Hi, some people recommend me to come here to report a user, my english is kinda bad so I wanted some help, this user commission me weeks ago and they was satisfied with my service, last night they gave me a message wanting to commission a more complete job, I gave my prices as they are but the user was rude and decided to end the conversation. but this morning the user opened a claim in paypal for a forced refund of the commission that had already ended weeks before as I commented before only because of the discussion that night. the commission they wanted refund was finished and recived by them that same date in the screenshot of the files. the user deteled the conversation where i send them the files in dropblox. I would be gladly to get your help. Thank you so much. I hope other artist not deal with this user anymore. I'm still resolving the false refund. Money request: Original transaction:
  2. ok been 2 year i been deal with this kind give up i pay 200$ get body pillow done i got nothing back i keep ask or bug try not be rude to this person but been over this long for longest i have 2 year of chats him tell me gone get it done over and over have back logs pay his rent and every thing. i pay him for body pillow i was think he was a good friend to me did lot commission in the pass for me. i been in the dark for all most 2 year that drawing all i got in all most 2 year what i got he even tell me make up to me give me more art work for lost of time i never got any thing but from that i took it to point try get my money back with pay pal and this what they tell me more like well i got rob cuz give me that just say watch out this person he does art he did this on Patron too when had his own discord group took every one money when try to move not getting any one work done but has not done that late as i know just piss me off trust some one and just rob me
  3. I took a commission from someone watching my livestream, it was on the spot and meant to be 1 bust, and then during the middle of the livestream they asked for a second. The attachment is the result of that (NSFW hentai warning), after our last contact they never paid the invoice. [Mod Edit] From OP when asked about the invoice being canceled: No, I posted about this interaction on the Hentai-Reserve discord after sending the invoice, Arendale went no contact and didn't pay and then other artists on the discord had the same problem with them of non-payment, so I cut my loses.
  4. Mod edit: For anyone confused, the OP sold a character to the Bewaree/ Puppy. Instead of sending payment to the OP, Puppy sent it to Jury as payment for a character OP wished to purchase from Jury. 2 people in this have gotten scammed. me and jury. but this is mainly focused on what happened with me and alot happened through dms with this other user Around when this happened, when the users toyhou.se was still active, they wanted to purchase a character from me. The character that is currently in their possession, is 🎮weasel🎮 (You are unable to see them now because of them being owned/stored in an account that is closed) After they claimed to have sent the money to jury(which was also a payment for a character i bought, https://toyhou.se/5828069.-darren- ), I of course transferred to character, unaware that this person has also scammed a few other people(searching for said people). Around May 12th of this year, I got a message from jury saying how that same user has filed a dispute against them, making it so the transaction was redacted. Since this happened they did not pay for the character between the time periods of [12 May 2020, 3:05:07 pm] & [29 May 2020, 7:20:51 am] there has been no reply/activity in regards to the Puppyboy user. But shortly after the character was transferred, the user's account was closed. (Approximately within that same week they were transferred assumingly?) But the account was closed rather early after the transfer was sent. Within that time. Listed above, I thought the situation was resolved, & the money had been paid back..... but then again what's the reason for closing your account if possibly resolved? Puppyboy claimed that two people or possibly more have claimed they filed a chargeback. That was honestly odd, because if multiple people have claimed you filed a chargeback then it's likely you filed said chargeback and scammed something. In the end the money got sent back to them, and they are now in possession of a scammed character any money used to pay off something. So then it would also make that character seem scammed, and not in my possession. Just in case, here are examples of some of their art along with their up 2 date socials at the top - example | example | example | example | example
  5. (this article includes screencaps featuring conversation involving a musical artist and collaborative partner, Caero, who granted me permission to include screenshots featuring his dialogue: proof 1 proof 2) -- In march, I hosted an auction in collaboration with a musician where the winner would receive a custom theme song for their character and I would make an illustration of the character using the music as my inspiration. The winning bid was 960 usd (to be split 480 for each of us.) The musician sent an invoice and on July 3rd 2019 the invoice was fully paid. The musician delivered my half of the payment without incident. The musician proceeded to experience some life turbulence and his correspondence with both me and the client suffered as a result. Trixx requested an update on how things were going with him and he responded. Feeling a little antsy as some more time passed after this, I contacted the musician and offered the idea to draw the illustration first. He assured me that he would have something to show soon. I unfortunately do not have screencaps for this part but he was true to his word and submitted a musical sketch, which Trixx approved. I then produced an illustration sketch based on what he provided. She approved the sketch, and requested a background that was a “kingdom, city devastation through the battlefield.” Following this, the musician fell out of contact again, and once again, Trixx inquired for an update, and received no response after two days. At which point, I apologized for her inability to get in contact with the musician and told her that I would reach out to him. Here’s the conversation I had with the musician. Following this conversation, I followed up with Trixx, letting her know that I understood the musician had spoken to her, adding that I would hop on ahead and complete her illustration within the week, providing updates each day until the work was complete. The following is what transpired: This is the link to the previously completed collaborative auction linked to in the screencaps above: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27946332/ This is the link to Trixx’s completed illustration: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jd7o726jjdq7yi4/trixx.png?dl=0 (Version without the radial blur: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qdtk31qyfksez9u/trixx_2.png?dl=0 The conversation continued down this trajectory, eventually leading to a very confusing moment where Trixx began linking me to examples of work that were not provided as examples in the auction description, eventually going as far as to accuse me of editing the auction details (effectively gaslighting her). She dropped that particular topic as soon as she realized that she had been looking at the details and pulling up examples provided in the description of an entirely different auction than the one she had bid on. Eventually, I had considered completely redoing the background and most of the character for an additional charge (which she had warned me not to make too steep, on the premise that she has already paid for the illustration). I offered to redo things on the condition of her trust that I was putting forth my best effort for her. She voiced her lack of confidence, and I quickly determined that the safest course of action was to encourage her to take a partial refund. I had her invoice me for the partial refund, and promptly paid that invoice I left the group conversation, and she sent me one last personal DM Not wanting to continue the conversation with respect to my own time and emotional resources, I blocked her on discord following that last message I sent. The musician told me that he was going to issue her a full $480 refund. I sincerely believe that Trixx is not a wholly unreasonable person, and that the responses from her as seen in these screencaps were shaped largely by the wait time and lapses in correspondence. I tried my best to juggle the issues surrounding the musician and the needs of the client, but in the end, the variables failed to line up in a manner that was conducive to good business and a happy customer. This is my very first experience with both a situation and a client like this and it has been a great teacher. However her conduct, her assertive devaluing of my work, dismissal of my numerous attempts to problem solve with her under the assertion that I’m trying to rip her off, the moving goalposts, and her aggressive attempts to pursue the matter even after a refund had been issued for completed work has been disrespectful beyond what was called for.
  6. I commissioned copycatz back in October of 2016, they approached me with interest in drawing art of one of my characters, they were enthusiastic to do so. I saved up money for a few months so I could commission them at the time and paid for a full colour, shaded commission at the time. I know some artists can take time so I did not contact them too terribly much afterwards. By the point I started to become suspicious/worried it was too late for a charge back from Paypal. I figured they'd deliver eventually, probably had a queue. I contacted them some months later an inquired how it was going as the last time I had talked to them they stated they had a WIP and would upload it soon. I cannot discuss what they said but they had medical complications (supposedly) and were unable to work for a period of time. I backed off for a few months before contacting again. Shortly after that contact a year after commissioning them they were banned from Furaffinity. I figured at that time my commission was lost in the ether until other commissioners posted about how to get in contact with the artist and how they owed them work. They were available on DeviantArt and Twitter so I contacted them on DeviantArt. What followed was a run around of saying they didn't remember me ever commissioning them, then me providing the screen caps edited below of paying them then being ran around saying they had a WIP. This continued for some months while they were posting more artwork they were creating. Again this continued on for several months until I essentially threw my hands up in the air. I had no real recourse to retrieve the amount owed by this point and it was apparent they were not going to produce the work. Their ban on FA has ended and they are allowed to post on the account again so I decided to make a public airing of this dirty laundry to show what I went through in hopes they do not take anyone else's money. At this point all I'd want is a refund plus interest for the money they received from me with no delivered work. Take away: Copycatz will approach people first seeming enthusiastic on commissioning them. They will then try to get the person to commission them. They will not communicate at all with the commissioner. The commissioner has to engage in all contact. They will bring forward excuses as to why they cannot work on it now, claiming personal or medical reasons. They will promise WIPs and progress but never deliver. There is no other way to put it but this person is a thief. They take money and do not produce work.
  7. My fiance commissioned a shop on Etsy to draw some outfits for her character. She gave the artist a reference sheet of her character that I drew for her earlier this year. The shop traced the artwork and made two edits (The face was edited to look different, and one hand pose was changed very slightly) and if you lay the image over my artwork you can see that the lines match 90% I tried to censor the posts as much as possible and I apologize if there's any 'lewdness' to them, as you can see parts of the character's genital anatomy despite my best efforts to censor it while maintaining the integrity of the images (to best show how closely they matched the lines, down to nearly exact shapes and curves) I confronted the artist and they denied that the artwork was traced. They offered to redraw the commission for my partner but our big fear is that they may be tracing other artists as well. For the record the commission in question was incredibly cheap, under $15. The issue really isn't the money, for me, it's the theft of intellectual property for financial gain. Etsy removed the listing but has not removed the shop from their website.
  8. I paid $105 for art back in january of 18 of this year using venmo. I will not attach the photo of that here unless required to due to some privacy issues that can happen but I will gladly share my text history with him on discord, the shout that was deleted on his profile, the note I left for him on FA and the proof that he blocked me. He refuses to message me back let alone give me my money back or the art I paid for. I am just hoping he gives me my money back and i will never talk with or about him again or I can find where he lives and bring his ass to court over this.
  9. Lauras collab partner was TheScarletArtist ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thescarletartist ) also mentioned as Martina or Martina Da Bologna in those Telegram chat logs. The commissioners were me ( Akio / https://www.furaffinity.net/user/akiomai/ ) and Etskuni ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/etskuni ). I was the one paying for it full. Etskuni didnt have to pay. It was a gift from me for her. It all started with this collab auction: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27653060/ I was happy to be able get art from those two and I didnt think anything could go wrong. I got art from Scarlet several times and she delivered fast as usual. First it was all fine with Laura. Some stuff happening. No problem at all. Communication was good at this point. So far stuff happening again is fine: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9037614/ But we expected to hear something sooner or later. So 3 months went by and I contacted Laura via email. After that I talked with Etskuni and Scarlet what to do. So this was cleared and we waited. Meanwhile more stuff happening: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9253557/ And time flew by and nothing happened. So, I didnt expect her to offer a refund and I would have been fine knowing there wont be one. This would have finally put an end to this story..... but she said she would... So I waited and meanwhile in december she did another journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9350647/ In march nothing happened. No email from her nor money so I ended up writing her an email at end of march. Now 1 month later still no answer. I know the current situation with corona and she is probably struggling with life. I just wish she would have been more honest. Whether she still refunds me is up to her. I see this as the end of the story.
  10. Client was terminated from an Artistic Liberty quote before payment was made since the changes requested by them on the concept provided during the first contact were not interesting for the studio production at the time and the unpaid design created during quote was kept by the studio, as described on the TOS agreed by said client during the application process. Link to our TOS Client tried to continue the application process but we already sent the email terminating it and we didn't felt it was necessary to proceed contact, since no invoices were sent and no further agreements were made - at that stage we already let the client know that the design created for that commission would stay under the studio property. Weeks after said client decided to public harass our studio on our own posts on Instagram and after being blocked on multiple accounts for doing so, started to spread misinformation about our TOS, the commission process and also decided to claim the unpaid design as their own under claims that goes against the TOS agreed on before the design was sent to them. We sent a private message to the third account and by that time it felt like the situation was under control. The harassment continued the next day with another account claiming the studio stole the client OC, tagging other clients and spreading more half truths and accusations. The studio posted a public note via Instagram stories to spread awareness on the information and also decided to share on beware groups what happened. One of our followers let us know the client still insists on spreading false information and we decided to enlighten the situation public posting everything here. These are the accounts that continued harassing us and our clients/followers: @wetsnobblobb < has posted the stories spreading misinformation @foolish.adopts < has harassed us on posts @beesandcubs < first account to start online harassment [Moderator Note: A 4th IG that was harassing OP exists, but the account is held by someone underaged so we have censored it out.] That user is claiming that the art is stolen and that our character sheet bases are also stolen fro] third party, which is a blatant lie since our lead artist has all the files and recipes to prove that all the art was created by us and belong to Alecrim Carmim brand. To clarify any half truths shared by the accounts listed before: - Our art is 100% designed by our lead artist. We have all the files and proof of the authenticity of our creations, designs and production; - We never ghost any client; in that specific case, we simply terminate the commission and sent an email informing the client on said termination and reason (the project was not interesting for production at that time); - No designs were stolen from the client; in fact, our design is being claimed without payment by said client under accusations that "since the mood board and directions were given, the character belongs to them”; said claim goes straight against our TOS (that was agreed on BEFORE the commission process even began by the client); - No invoices were sent to the client before the commission termination. Not the 30% from the commission process nor any amount of money was received from the client by Alecrim Carmim. Preparing / being ready to pay does not mean actually making a payment. We always ask for future clients multiple times to read AND agree with our TOS before moving forward with the commission process. For our sake and for the sake of our current clients and followers, we’re deleting that design made for that specific commission from our social media and premade library. We do not stand for harassment and we do not want to associate with the illegal usage of our intellectual property, no matter the claims. We're a positive brand that try our best to avoid that kind of drama, but sadly some of that might hit our way once or twice in our studio development. For that reason, we decided to expose the situation and upload a client beware so our fellow makers have some feedback on said client for future reference. All the relevant screencaps are attached to this message. The art itself is being used without credit and the Client is claiming the design to be their character. In addition, the Client attempted to sell the design, using the full original, unpaid artwork in the advertisement on May 9th
  11. I had purchased an egg adopt for $45 USD in October of 2019. In the following weeks I gave the artist details I wanted for the body and character as they stated an AB would grant this, a full ref, a chibi version, and a half body. I had over half a year of nothing from them and came back with a question on progress to find out I had been blocked by them on FA and that nearly everything from the account had been removed. This includes the egg adopt I had paid for, which I sadly do not have an image for. There has not been a single item as a result of my payment to them, no sketch or verification from them. Below I have posted 5 images of their trello, a conversation in the beginning the paypal transaction, the blocking notice, and an image of the messages I left with details to them. ( opted to not capture as they are in regards to the adopt and the details I had specified I would like to keep private for a future idea of mine )
  12. I'd like to begin this post by saying that I've finally received my money back, but I still felt it necessary to make a PSA about this artist because this spree of not fulfilling commissions has apparently gone on for much longer than I expected. I greatly respect their talent and think their posted art is absolutely beautiful, but their lack of communication and responsibility for someone who is supposed to be a professional leaves much to be desired. This was when I first commissioned him and he took the payment. Perhaps I should have done half and half, but he assured me it'd be done within a week, and I always like paying artists upfront, delays or not. Unfortunately, a long time went by when I received no word, despite my attempts at contacting him through email and other platforms. Eventually, I managed to find his discord server and tried contacting him there too. While the first time I got no answer, I sent a message right when he was about to stream and managed to get somewhat of an answer. Eventually, however, the result was the same as before. Complete radio silence after the fact. A refund was only received on June 27th because a dispute was filed. No other followup was made. He opened up 2 commissions at this point, and I managed to get in contact with the second person that commissioned him, only to hear that they went through a very similar issue. Here is the conversation they allowed me to share.
  13. So, I commissioned TattooRexy for a two character NSFW piece (bits covered, but still sexual), and after showing me the sketch they proceeded to stop replying. I of course kept trying, and sent a few more messages their way that they didn't even bother to look at, so I tried messaging their partner, asking them to please inform the artist that they need to get back to me; She was very friendly and told me she would get on it. I don't know if she did, but either way nothing happened. I waited a few weeks and sent them another message, asking yet AGAIN to have them inform their partner; They didn't reply. Now, a few months later, I open up a refund request through paypal, and only NOW does the artist look at my messages (on FA, when you look at a note it goes from yellow to black, indicating that it has been received and read), but still haven't replied, neither on FA nor paypal. TattooRexy does state in their TOS that a commissioner can get a refund at anytime, but will ALWAYS be blacklisted afterwards, I now see why they do this, and it is such a dick move. By doing this, most people who would get upset and request a refund, will simply just accept the total unprofessional nature of this artist and wait the months, or years, it'd take for them to reply, or let alone finish the piece.
  14. I commissioned Patrikthedog 5 years ago for a single page comic. All she's done since then was a single sketch to see if there were any changes needed. Ever since then she's basically ghosted me, as well as several others. She's kept hundreds of dollars from commissioners while constantly making more art, claiming she doesn't have the money needed to give out refunds. When I made a post calling her out on a YCH that other people commented on, she deleted it to hide what she did. She contacted me after that post, but she once again ghosted me after promising a refund. She clearly has no intention of ever giving out the refund as promised.
  15. WHAT: Tracing other artists and selling them as adoptables and merchandise. This started with me purchasing an adoptable from nemi on November 8th, 2019. I paid, I got the adoptable, and for a few months, that was it. On January 11th, 2020 I discovered by coincidence an image that looked strikingly familiar to the adoptable I bought. I located the original artist and superimposed my adoptable with their original art and found that my adoptable was traced and heavily referenced. NEMI ADOPTABLE: ORIGINAL PIXIV SOURCE: SUPERIMPOSED: You can find all the screens from the website here: https://sta.sh/22cm0ib5dcr6 I submitted a beware on deviantART, and that was it for awhile. I treated this as a single issue, never heard from nemi, and left it at that. At that time, I had not filed a chargeback, I chalked it up to a lost and let it be. In hindsight, yes, I should've filed a chargeback and should've tried to be more proactive in my attempts to bring this to more light. I take fault for that. Recently I was approached by a user who was curious if I had known the adoptable was traced and responded I did know. They investigated a bit further and found much more evidence that nearly all of nemi's gallery is either traced or referenced heavily. Not only does nemi continue to try and sell traced/referenced adoptables, but they have online stores that host traced/referenced artwork. All of these further discoveries happened May 6th and May 7th. As of May 7th, I attempted a chargeback, but missed the cut off by a couple of days unfortunately. I've since been blocked by nemi after they found out about my beware. Hopefully this will help warn others about their practices and to steer clear. I hope I have everything in order. Thank you all.
  16. I was doing a commission for this person who happened to lie about a ton of stuff to me, i canceled the commission and refunded him the paid €51.00 eur He still had the preview sketch without my watermark to show him what it was going to be, and this person used this sketch, from a refunded commission to get it done by someone else (Later he admit he did it himself!). STORYLINE: First payment (€51.00 incl. Tip) DATE: May 3rd. First Sketch where i was working on it: 3rd of May First preview: 3rd of May (he changed his name Princess Kuda to Grandma Wilma a few days before the commission.) First heat in the moment: 5th of May PROOF OF REFUND FROM ME TO KUDA: 5th of May First encounter of stolen Art including confession AND Refund: 6th of May Twitter post by Kuda (Removed by the owner on 7th of may) Overlay done by one of the Moderators here on 8th of May. Many thanks to her! End.
  17. I bought a shaded chibi from uwusports some time in early October on a now deleted dA journal, but managed to get a screenshot of my commission in her Trello and money sent to her back in October. It was 11USD A few months later, I also proceeded to buy a hypokit from her in March of 2019 (10USD) then two more in May of 2019 (20USD). Transactions: In total, I spent about 41USD on this artist. Some time began to pass with me asking for updates and receiving little to no response. (Hypokit) Asking on Aug 19th, 2019 (5 months since ordered); Nov 13th, 2019 (8 months); & April 6th 2020 (13 months), only receiving one response. (Shaded Chibi) Asking on Dec 7, 2018 (2 months); Jan 1, 2019 (3 months); Mar 11, 2019 (5 months); & Nov 24, 2019 (13 months) only receiving one response. I never received the update promised in the second screenshot (I admit I probably should've asked for updates more frequently) All of these were read but never responded to: (Unread notes have the icon on the side as yellow rather than grey) After moving accounts due to a breach in her old account (uwusports) she has required commissioners to fill out a form to get on a list. I have filled it out twice now at two different dates (about a month between) and am still not on her new Trello from what I can see despite being on her old Trello I am hoping to receive my three hypokits and shaded chibi soon, but I have no idea if that will happen due to the lack of updates. I would also not like to forcefully chargeback due to the artist being in a rough financial position, so this beware seemed like the next best thing to do.
  18. https://www.reddit.com/r/HungryArtistsFed/comments/fweupl/neg_user_ububbyclownie_art_thiefscammer/ https://www.reddit.com/r/HungryArtistsFed/comments/gebqrb/neg_uacdcmarvel_lulu_warning/ This Artist is currently Lurking on Reddit, Attempting to Scam people into paying her for Commissions and then ghosting them. DO NOT TRUST HER. She found me in R/Aeromorph and Wound up stealing 70 dollars from me.
  19. TankDragon ran a Black Friday sale (Link: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34004858/ ) nearly 6 months ago, in which I bought for $35 (before PayPal fees) as advertised. It was an advertised post about comic-style fully shaded pictures for $35 or more. The following are the messages (in order too,, same day sent) I sent and he sent to confirm and get a slot for the art: Post 1 Post 2 Post 3 [5 months later, I ask for a refund request, as he is active little to none at this point] I have not heard from him back from either FurAffinity or Twitter. Albiet I did not do much interaction on Twitter to actually talk to him, he has been very active on his Twitter feed just by visiting his account. Plus, I posted when he was most active around that time too, enough to notice the messages. PayPal receipt: I did not do much interaction or forcefully getting a WiP. I do not know how to do a chargeback, I've tried starting a dispute with PayPal because I have not technically gone past the 18- day mark, but there doesn't seem to be any options to do so other than an unauthorized payment (which is not the case). I might check with my bank, but this Covid-19 pandemic might just be that thing that prevents any actual refunds happening, unless you know, TankDragon coughs up his end of the deal. Even the slightest sketch compensation is something, but we may never know.
  20. I have to warn about Aspenbear on Furaffinity. I ordered a commission from him at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24462662/#cid:123052165 on Sep 24th 2017. After a whole year of waiting, I asked for a refund, unless he wants to still do the commission. He then said that due to personal issues he's unable to keep up with the queue and wants to refund those still waiting for their commission, including me. On March 8th 2019 he asked me to comment under the original Bronze Artist post. Sadly he deleted all the correspondence through comments on FA at some point. On March 14th, after inquiring about the refund status, he informed me that he's working his way down his lists and would note me when the money has been sent. On March 28th, he told me to check his journal entries, as he has refunded over $2000 in the past month and still working down his list. On March 6th 2020, AspenBear left a shout on his FA saying that he hasn't abandoned anything and is trying to sort his life out. On April 30th 2020, I left a comment in his profile asking about the status of my refund. AspenBear deleted that comment, along with every other comment on his profile. On May 1st, he left a comment on my FurAffinity profile, telling me to once again send him my PayPal email. I did that. On May 2nd, I left a shout on his FA asking for the refund once again. To this day (May 3rd), that message with my PayPal is still unread. Despite being completely overwhelmed with his current commission queue, and still owing many pictures, he still takes on more and more work. Which makes me worried that all those new commissions will have to go through the same problems I, and many others, did. Thus, this Artist.Beware Caution.
  21. TankDragon ran a YCH (Link here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30306472/ ) over a year ago, in which I won a slot for 85$. It was called his Final Winter YCH, or also his 6th YCH. The censoring in the following picture removes my name address, and monetary information. He also also charged the person who came in after the YCHs close for the same slot that he charged me for. Since this time, he has repeatedly said I would get a WIP soon as I checked in every few months. However, the friend who bid after close showed me he had gotten a WIP with him in my slot instead (far left predator slot). My character is not a dragon. I have not been able to get a WIP of the YCH from the artist, and believe he has now just ran off with the money as it is now well past Paypals 180 day return period. He does still respond, but it is always with the same line of: It will be soon. Now, at a loss for other options, I submit this beware so others may not lose money to this artist.
  22. Last year in October I contacted this artist for a two-character commission with scenery, and since then, I have not received any works-in-progress or anything. I've occasionally noted her to ask for updates regarding my piece, and this was the last reply I received from her: I did not receive an update January 11, and while I have sent additional Notes since then asking for updates, she read my notes, but didn't reply to them: However, she constantly posts YCHs and is very active on FurAffinity: I just don't like the feeling I'm being ignored, and I'm not being rude, or anything.
  23. Started simple. She added me on Steam curious about getting a commission from me. I asked her if she'd be fine with $20 for a full color and she agreed. Normally, I'm polite about things and only ask for payment upon completing the artwork so I send the finished work over, she responds positively. I then give her my paypal address and await payment. 3 days go by. I politely remind her but do not hear back. I then ask if something had happened I was unaware of that's preventing her from paying so I ask about it on her public Discord she invited me to. Despite not hearing from her via DMs, she soon posts in her discord, implying that she is online and HAD read my messages, but chose to ignore them. She later messages me (after I inquire via DM again) saying she's waiting for her paycheck. I find it odd she'd ask for a commission without having money for it but I decide to be nice and let her wait till then without charging a late fee. Come her paycheck day, I expect a payment but nothing doing. I then inquire again and ask her to get back to me as soon as she can. She does get back to me... saying "I will." Naturally I find this very odd. Along with this, she changes her public Discord status to imply a "waiting game" (screenshot provided) which could be inferred as her possibly toying with me. By that time, having not received payment due for almost 2 weeks now, I finally decide to let her know that I will have to raise the price by the 25th should she not pay by then. Due to her lack of response from me sooner, I again politely asked about her situation over her public discord. No uproar was caused, as I simply asked a quick question. Later I find she's booted me from the server and messages me in all caps in a confusingly rude manner (screenshots provided). I then explain to her the situation she's in to ensure that there can be no confusion or miscommunication on her part. She then tries to make an excuse that she was "joking" about paying initially. I provide her with a screenshot of the conversation from 2 weeks back to ensure her that she at no point communicated that. At this point I've lost patience but am still willing to be more polite than necessary and allow her to simply pay the $4 cancellation fee (the completed drawing seen in the screenshots had previously been removed to avoid the possibility of her using it for anything). On March 24th she agreed to pay the $4 cancellation fee. I never received that payment either. My patience ran out, thus I'm submitting this report now. She's a Twithc streamer, it seems so I don't want her potentially cheating other artists out on doing art for her without receiving due payment.
  24. (My original advice post is located here.) NOTE: Her real name and email haven't been omitted, as they are readily available on her websites. Unfortunately, because the artist and I were on friendly terms, much of the communication for this commission was done verbally at Phoenix Comic Con (PHXCC). However, I'm providing screenshots of the correspondence we had online. I originally discussed a pencil drawn commission with Goldenwolf at PHXCC back in 2017. She told me that She'd have it done by May 2018 (the next PHXCC), but would get it to me sooner if requested. I told her I'd be selling some things after the con, and if I had enough after obligations, I'd confirm the commission and send payment. (Email Discussion) As agreed, I sent payment for the piece with extra for shipping via Paypal on July 7th 2017. I didn't receive confirmation she had gotten the payment, so I nudged her on August 4th. She replied on the 7th with confirmation, making mention that she thought she had already replied to me. When I saw her commission queue posted to FurAffinity (FA) on Feb 5th 2018, I asked why my name appeared to be missing from it (the screenshot was taken recently, after my name had been added). After I pointed this out, she assured me that mine would be finished "this month", which I took to mean February. During February, she also attended Texas Furry Fiesta, where she advertised accepting more commissions on FA and Twitter. On April 16th 2018, I sent an email over with my updated reference (no big design changes, just more examples of his different forms were added on it). On the 17th, she said I was on the "short list" and she'd be getting to mine after a couple of other things. May passed, and on June 10th 2018, I asked for a progress update. On June 26th she emailed over a rough sketch for my approval. She mentioned in the same email that she was suffering from severe depression. I responded requesting a few edits, but because she was my friend and I wanted to be supportive, I tried not make her feel pressured. After I didn't hear back from her on social media, I sent her another email on October 26th 2018. I offered her the option of just refunding me if she was unable to produce my commission in a timely manner, and her response to this is just better just read from her email directly. I waited to post on Artists Beware for advice until after December, because she mentioned in the email that she was hoping to have the piece done by then. Following advice from A_B, I sent an email on February 15th 2018 asking for a refund using the outline provided to me in my advice thread. As of the writing on this, I haven't heard anything back from her. While collecting screenshots for this post, I found her current Terms of Service. (She has never directed me to it, so I'm unsure how it may have changed over time.) I do know, that if I seen this TOS before commissioning her, I wouldn't have, friend or not. (It features an "A**hole Clause", which in and of itself would be a huge nope.) Notable Sections: 1 2 3 I also found that she has a Patreon, which despite her huge backlog, offers sketches to certain tiers. I'm unsure, however, if she's actually provided them. 1 2 I'm not sure what else to add, really. It doesn't currently look like I'll be receiving my commission or a refund. ? 04.14.20 update: UPDATE: 4.18.2020 On 4.14.2020, just hours after the update was added to the post, Goldenwolf sent the client this refund and statement: She had not done work beyond the sketch provided back in June of 2018 The client responded with this invoice and statement Goldenwolf then refunded the client on the 16th of April for the remainder of the commission payment. This issue has now been marked as Resolved.
  25. I commissioned Glowner back in 2019 for some NSFW commission art and haven't been getting the promised product at all. Sadly a lot of chat history is not available anymore since the Discord Server this was originally on has been deleted and I saw no need saving anything as I had no reason to distrust the artist, as I was still fairly new to commissioning and not knowing that taking safety proof would be a good idea. I did not contact them for a long time until I saw them posting some art or generally talking on Twitter, which continued after I contacted them on Discord for my refund. I contacted them somewhat regularly to avoid a block due to being too pushy, but still am waiting on any update. Instead they continued posting elsewhere, as on Discord and Twitter. I frankly feel like I am being ghosted/neglected and I feel I will not be repaid. I am still being owed 200 bucks.
