I'm sorry you had to learn red flags the hard way.

1. Never pay using friends and family,

2. They sent an imgur link as their examples, at any point did they link any public social medias or portfolios?

3. If you paid via credit card or bank you may be able to file a claim with them for your money, since you can't with PayPal since you paid as F&F
