So, first off, you filed this artist beware dating it 12/12/2018 however your first payment was in december of 2018? you state it was late 2018 that the problems occured, however its only recently that problems have developed second, you have started a gofund me prior to resolving it with the seller. third you understand do to the lion king ref you have to modify the suit due to copyright. fourth short pile fur is gunna show everything, and depending on body size and type its fitted as close to you as possible. fifth you are crying foul and rallying people to a cause because you are not happy trying to get a refund and gofund me is a double standard. according to your monthly payments it seems like you had to take time to pay for it then have it rushed for a international con??? sixth before acting like an entitled and expect VIP treatment it seems theyve done theyre best to accommodate you and work with you. 7th the cost of materials has risen so high do to the US's current trade tarrifs that materials ezpecially synth furs are 15-25% higher so its obvious sellers will adjust and protect themselves both in TOS and cost. ALSO i feel like you are not divulging all the information regarding this issue?

So I've gotten a suit from Lemonbrat and they have been nothing but kind and courteous and prompt with their responses. This to me looks like buyer's remorse. The images you provided make it seem like you were contacted in March about your due date and work had started on the suit in June. Which you received wips for. Where are the rest of the emails from them? In order to clear the air I would provide them. Tmk Lemonbrat doesn't make changes unless it's requested by the customer. They send wip pictures and you need to approve them before more work is done on the suit. They have their customers choose the fur colors, they even send swatches. So that's on you. The fur looks like short pile fur, maybe sable or seal, it wrinkles. It's gonna happen with shorter furs. You're going to see seams unless you're using lux or another long pile fur. Lemonbrat has a team of people who work on these suits, I have met several of them and they're always super friendly. You sound like an awful customer. You provided a ref from the lion king first off. You need consistent reference images. Looking at the main one the tail is curved. Have you seen a big cat like a panther? Their tails naturally have a curve so they don't drag on the ground. I don't see the airbrushing you speak of, to be fair I see absolutely nothing that would suggest it was airbrushed at all. It all looks like fur and shadows of fur in the images.

I also have been dealing with similar issues with this maker. I commissioned wings and a bird tail for a head I have from a different maker, and paid it off to FInley months ago. I was promised progress pics, but have not seen any. I have reached out to the maker multiple times, and met with no response. They don't even appear to be reading my Telegram messages. After seeing this thread, I contacted Paypal. This is getting crazy! As a side note, during the time I was making payments, Finley didn't appear to be keeping track of how much I had paid. They even asked if I could send a bigger payment at the very end, and I reminded them that what I had just paid was all I owed, and that I was finished paying it off. Super concerned, hearing that they lie to Paypal. I don't want to be cheated out of money! -
I met Finley at AnthroCon while they were running a booth in the Dealer's Den. There were suiters attending the con in suits that Finley had made, and the tails they had on display were of good quality. We talked for a while about pricing a fullsuit, how long delivery dates were, how deep the queue was. At that point, I decided to commission a Full Digitigrade suit from them for $1600. Communication was great until December, at which basically all communication ceased. The only reason that Finley responded here was because I had 2 emails: I am open to marking this Beware as "resolved" if and when the refund has been processed on PayPal. New information as of 7/1/2019. I was promised a refund (partial in June, the rest in July). Finley has not been in contact since those promises were made. I've attached the email conversation below, and you can see comments for more info. At this point I'm forced to raise this to Beware status from it's current Caution status.

I thought i want to share it with the others artist to warn them.He first approached me via 3rd party work website & then contacted my email called [email protected] / Solomon King Thompson . He was looking for artist with anime style to design his t-shirt, he saw my portfolio & interested in working with me. I replied him that i can work with him if agreed with my ToS. I gave him the link to my price list & ToS in it (which stated that the client has to pay right away after i showed them the first draft) He used a trick where he paid for the first work and then he said he's very satisfied with my work & asking for more commission, pretending wanted to work with me for a long term. The first commission went pretty smoothly (even though he's bit late for the payment). After the first commission was completed, he asked for the second one. I quote him $XX+ for the work & he agreed and said will do the payment soon. For the second commission i gave him the work first because he need the work to be completed asap (next week) and promised to pay on Friday (2 Oct 2018) & i thought he can be trusted since it's his second commission , yet on the due date there’s no news came from him. He didn't reply after i gave him the work & asking for payment. He replied in between 8 Oct when i asked if he wanted to cancel the commission after that, he didn't bother to open & reply my email from 12 Oct - 29 Oct 2019. He only replied after i warned him that if he doesn't reply my message shortly after 24hr I will make this public. I've been really generous to extend his payment due more than 10 weeks. What makes it worse, recently he open a dispute/report to his previous payment that make my account got locked for some reason & i can't access my paypal, despite i have sent the high-resolution file & he said he satisfied with my work. He chooses to run away from his problem & didn’t even try to resolve it until now thus i decided to make this public so you can watch out for him if he's approaching you. if any of you were commissioned him by any chance. It'll be safer to just reject him. Don't fall for his trick pretending to be a good client. He only “paid” for the first work just to make us trust him (also his paypal email look way too fishy [email protected]) . He might be still out there looking an artist to draw him 2B, bowsette & another lewd female character ..for his T-shirt design .. *edit 2019 : I saw an upwork post stating looking for lewd anime style character for t-shirt here https://www.upwork.com/jobs/_~014e58b8f2f291e674/. Please be warry. From what i know according to the conversation we had he need 4 design for his t-shirt. I have completed one and a half of the design. So there are 2-3 design left needed. On August 30th 2011 I messaged Feltified after being referred by a friend, and completely fell in love with their creations. I instantly sent a note asking about commissions, as seen in the first screencap below. The entire conversation can be read. After the second screencap, I haven't heard from them since. I've sent 5-6 notes on FA and some shouts on their page and even a couple of Etsy messages, but it seems they just read my notes and don't respond. Details: The plushies I've received (Klonoa, Guntz, Chipple, and Pyramid Head) were all made beautifully and personality. The seams were neat, the details were accurate, and they were the perfect size. I love them to bits! When commissioning her, I got a late with a few payments due to my job giving me less hours (this is the reason for the gap) but she was extremely patient and pushed my plushies to the end of her list to give me enough time to finish paying. She did not need to do this, but I cannot thank her enough for being patient and understanding about the payment troubles. Zyden @ DA Commissioned in early March. The work is professional and frankly amazing in its depth and color and how it's all put together. I haven't seen anything quite as breath-taking as her eye-cons, for the price and with the level of professionalism that she puts into her work.
