Keeping the "I'll pay you back" talk in mind. By Request, Here is his permission of inclusion to being here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1t81tt9v6tyrdo7/Permission of Inclusion by Koro.png?dl=0 She apparently forgot about what I wanted and I had to remind her. Nothing. Her fiance is also an artist, and a friend of mine. He's asked her to do so for my own sake, she seemed to ignore it all when he did or gets flustered with anger. If needed, I have asked if he would make a comment on his behalf to prove my claims. She has now told me her new tablet is broken.. again. While I don't have the original picture of her telling me her tablet broke the first time, since it was part of that group I was pulled into. The last Photo in the dropbox shows of it breaking the second time, sorry for lack of context, again I can have backups to this claim within the comments section if mods permit. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vx1nqce98ljm9xw/tablet broken proof.png?dl=0 of her tablet being broken My two invoices with her First, https://www.dropbox.com/s/qqwy6v9s84yke13/Initial Payment to Polly.png?dl=0 Second, https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5u5xm0rigfhtfu/Secondary Payment.png?dl=0 In all good consciousness, I cannot recommend anyone commission her with this in mind. Due to the constant dodging, waiting, and general lack of interest she has in getting her work done. UPDATE: She has since done my commission and apologized, after we gave her a good kick in the rear to become a better person. She has also thrown in extra art due to me waiting, and her dodging the questions.. That being said, Only time will show if she changes her attitude, and this beware will remain as a reminder of what she -has- done. So that way if someone decides to buy, they can double check her here. UPDATE 2: She may concurrently be resuming her shady actions, due to her once more piling up on her commissions with little work after weeks of getting them. Her ex has commented below with these notions. I would advise to demand work done with a watermark if you're insistent on her work, to pay when complete so she doesn't take money without anything done. UPDATE 3: She now has a new discord, and has resumed scamming others. Due to this, I'm adding it to the top of the page and in the comments below to confirm she has resumed activities I shall link another article as of 8/20/18 Update 4 She as opened a new DA, can confirm this as she admits it's herself in a journal https://www.deviantart.com/sirenadiamond/journal/Confession-760632890 added this to here for reference so she can't hide Update 5 Added a new Inkbunny, since shes trying to change her name. However her information still shows it's her. https://inkbunny.net/NiraIshani
  2. Eeeesshh. I used to follow Maw and have for a hot minute now, this stinks to see. :’/ It’s really upsetting how no matter how many/who explains it to Maw, they still believe they aren’t in the wrong. Maw has also been blocking anyone who doesn’t agree with them 100% apparently. When Maw said they’ve been dealing with a lot of charge backs lately I thought it was a string of bad luck but now I can only assume it’s more cases of this kinda thing. I checked earlier and I guess I liked the beware on Twitter so I was blocked. Ouchies.
  3. So this starts on June 17th, 2020 when I commissioned them for a $20 YCH. I'm also in the market for a new reference sheet at the time, so we briefly discuss that as well. (Please note that the original YCH posting I won appears to have been taken down, however with how many YCHes the artists generally posts it's a non-zero chance that I'm just unable to find it). I completely forget about it and don't hear anything until March 8th, 2021, when I get this note. I assume there will be updates there so I join. Turns out she calls the server "BrokenVocaloid's Good Boys" and everyone who's commissioned her gets the role "good boy". I mention I'd like her to create another role maybe called "Good girl" due to myself being transgender and being called a "good boy" causing dysphoria. She doesn't discuss anything with anyone, over reacts, and completely revamps the server. (I did not take screenshots of this, and have since been removed from the server). I feel horrible about doing this to her out of nowhere, so I ask to support her at her "Golden Children" tier, which is supposed to come with benefits like free art, etc, etc. As mentioned earlier, when I got the YCH I told her I might be interested in a ref. Again, I felt bad I caused her to completely redo her server, so I moved forward and asked for a ref of Ruby. I don't hear anything that week. So on the 16th, I ask for an update on the WIP. I only asked for the update because she said she'd send the WIP within the week, normally I give artists like a month before I poke them for an update unless they give me an expectation. She ignores me. I ask again on the 19th. She ignores me. On the 24th I message her again. She points to the fact her grandmother was testing for cancer as the reason I don't have the WIP (this was posted on her journal on furaffinity here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9797437/, and is public knowledge). I'd also asked about the YCH which at the time was 9 months overdue before her grandmother went into testing. She dodged that question. I backed down since I figured she was grieving. Ends with "I'll do it now", setting another expectation. On 4/3, I realize I might never get the ref, so I hedge my bets. I like getting all my refs from the same person, so I ask her if she can switch to my Umbreon character instead as I care much less about that reference sheet. She says she's already started working on Ruby. On 4/13, She randomly solicits me for another commission since she functionally needs something for her portfolio. I still feel bad from the original interaction in her server, so I accept. Note that she said "I will have ALOT of wips for ya tomorrow" On 4/17 I message again. She says she can send the WIPs that evening. She then sends me a discord invite to her streaming server, so I figure she's gonna stream herself working on my commission. She spends the entire evening streaming other people's commissions, and I feel extremely disappointed. So I message her again on 4/18, I'm ignored. 4/19 I write up a small wall of explanation of why I'm upset doing my best to be reasonable and professional. I get another story as to why she doesn't have them done, I'm willing to accept it at face value because things happen, and it's a somewhat reasonable story. By 5/7 I'm sick of asking for updates. I at this point noticed her artist bewares and saw someone reference her having a trello in one of them, so I ask her for it. Ignored. 5 days on 5/12 later I message her again, she doesn't even answer the question I asked at first. On 5/19 I reach a point of frustration where I tell her I don't want the art anymore and tell her to just not bother. She's been posting a lot of YCHes and saying she needs money for food, so I'm willing to let her keep the money as I'd feel bad taking that money away from her. This is the image I sent her in the previous screenshot. She says she's not going to keep the money without doing the work, so I relent. She says it'll be out within the week again. On 5/27 I ask for a refund because frankly she basically begged to be allowed to finish the commissions and then ignored her own deadline without even bothering to communicate once again. I clearly state that I'd like it back within 2 weeks or I will be filing a chargeback as I've seen other people here have issues getting refunds. I still forgive the $25 from the "Golden Child" tier because there was no direct tangible agreement there, and I feel like asking for that refund would be unreasonable. Her comment "I have a life and stuff happeend personally i had to take care of ^^; I know people dont care about that so I dont push it on them" felt like a personal attack implying I don't care about her at all, which feels completely unwarranted. Discussion about the refund. I suspect she sketched out that "WIP" in the hour and a half between my message and her message just based on how resistant to showing me she was right up until that point, the fact her explanation makes no sense, as well as the fact that the change in the way she types (using the ~ at the end of the sentence for example) comes off as smug in some way. Today (6/13) I still haven't received the refund. She's stated I'll have it tomorrow, so I'm giving her a single final chance to follow through, otherwise I'll be filing the chargeback. I strongly recommend you do not work with this person under any circumstances. The entire interaction felt disrespectful, disingenuous, and like a long string of excuses for the fact she takes on more work than she can handle with no intention of ever completing it, and I'd estimate that your odds of getting your commissions are a coin flip at best. I will be genuinely impressed if I get the refund I've been promised at this point.
  4. Originally posted on May. 25th, 2013 by aerospiritual WHO: Nathradas WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Full color single character piece, no background. WHEN: [08/22/11] Nathradas opens up for regular character commissions. I inquire if I can reserve a slot since I'll have to wait for a bank transfer to clear into my Paypal account. She agrees. [08/30/11] I send payment and commission details to Nathradas. I'm thus listed as paid on her commission status journal. [08/09/12] I'm a patient person; I know that life and related issues come up- she'd posted that she was going through some stuff and that's fine. It happens. But after hearing nothing about my commission for almost a year, I sent a polite note to her on FA inquiring about my commission's status. This note has still gone unread. [08/24/12] I attempt to contact her by e-mail, through the account she provided. No response. [10/21/12] I attempt to get ahold of her on dA. I receive no response. [10/23/12] Two days later, Nathradas posts an image to her FA of the werewolf suit she has been working on for the past two weeks. The bottom of the description reads "(nope, in case you're wondering, I'm not gonna be back, not until January I'd say, I can't say yet tho, I have no clue how long it takes me to get stuff sorted out again)." I'm only including this because it's the only sort of message regarding what's going on in her end- not even a word towards me and my attempts to communicate with her. [01/10/13] I decide to be patient- maybe what's going on is really bad? So I wait until January and post a shout on her userpage to get her attention. This also has the unintentional effect of having another one of her commissioners contact me in the hopes that I've at least heard anything from her. [01/15/13] Nathradas finally me an e-mail and informs me that she needs to talk to her bank about when she can refund me. It's around this time that I started to experience some serious problems with Gmail such as it temporarily locking me out of my account due to alleged security issues and login conflicts, messages simply disappearing, and in the case of my phone; e-mail not showing up entirely, messages not being sent, and/or being sent in triplicate. This has hindered my ability to reply in a reasonable amount of time. [02/16/13] - [03/28/13/] I think this is really my fault here; she gets back to me and I feel as though this was my golden opportunity to get my refund and well. I missed it; I thought I replied much, much sooner and overall, I lost track of time between some pretty busy weeks at work and some family related drama. This is absolutely my bad here. [04/30/13] Sent a follow up e-mail. No response. [05/20/13] Yet another follow up e-mail. No response. PROOF: Commission Journal Paypal Receipt Commission e-mail DeviantArt journal listing my status as paid as well as the commission agreement and terms of service My initial note sent in August of this year Follow-up e-mail Image description posted almost two days after I tried noting her on dA The comment I posted to her userpage. Nathradas' e-mail response and mine. My follow up e-mail. Nathradas' reply, my reply, and another follow up e-mail. My last e-mail, sent five days ago. I'm only missing the note I sent over dA, but there are literally only two notes in my DeviantArt outbox and neither are directed towards the aritst. =/ EXPLAIN: At the end of August, 2011, I commissioned the artist Nathradas for a single character image with no background. With the Paypal fees, it came out to roughly $155 total. After patiently waiting for nearly a year, I attempted to make contact with the artist for any sort of progress regarding my commission to absolutely no avail until January of this year, when I publicly requested that she contact me in regards to this matter. I've received two responses from her in regards to my efforts, all the while watching her actively post things to Tumblr, take on more commissions, and be generally involved with the online community. At this stage, I really, really just want my refund.
  5. So sad to see this. I had been following maw for a couple months and i loved their art, thought they were a nice person as well. this commission looks so rushed and it was dealt with so poorly on their end. the fact that people are being blocked for siding with the customer baffles me. I too had been blocked too. Not enough people on twitter are talking about this. it’s like some big accounts just get away with anything. I hope the person got their refund or a fix on the commission.
  6. Mar. 25th, 2012 at 1:23 AM thaily WHO&WHERE: Xinnova2 on Furaffinity. WHAT: Digital character sheet. WHEN: Started December 22, officially terminated via full refund March 23. PROOF: - Complete exchange of notes in a text file. There's 11 pages, I'll write summary below. Also the links are borked because A. cut&paste from FA and B. I removed the sketches from my server because Xinnova need not access them anymore. - [NSFW, feral bits] Thumbnail of sketched character sheet. To provide proof that I did draw the commission and go to this point of near-completion. Forgive the size and watermark, I do not wish to provide this person with further images for his perusal. - Screenshot of full refund. SUMMARY: Customer doesn't know what he wants, or at the very least does not communicate this to the artist. Despite claiming that he is a writer and that this character sheet will "define me spiritually" he does not write a conclusive description of what he wants, hemming and hawing over what he wants and then becoming increasingly abusive when the artist indicates her boundaries in accordance with the TOS they agreed to. Upon a full refund the customer posts a harassing journal and he and his friends make libelous statements and insults, suggesting customer sue the artist and wishing physical harm on the artist. Upon completing another character sheet commission, Xinnova contacted me about getting a similar commission from me. I showed him my TOS which he said, and I quote "That's actually very reasonable" and "I will try not to make too many changes, if I do though I will pay the fee". We agreed on $100 for the sheet, half paid up front with a deadline of 6 months. The transaction started out pleasantly, though early on I realized I had to drag a description of the character I was supposed to draw out of this guy. I thought that he was just a little enthusiastic and disorganized and that I could work with him; I've worked with customers before who sort of knew what they wanted and helped them along to come to a satisfactory end result. No biggie. I thought. I told him to take a day to make a list of things he wanted instead of sending lots of separate notes, and when he sent notes asking me to add things after I had started (and shown him) sketches I didn't make a fuss and did. The trouble started when I showed him the third sketch; the first was a side view, he asked for changes (rounded the muzzle/added bandana/number of teats/placement of teats/size of paws/shape of tail-mouth) which I applied. Upon being shown the second sketch he approved the changes, asking if I could curve the horns back a bit more, which I did. He specifically complimented me on the revised tail-mouth; initially described as being shaped like a rose-bud that opens into a worm-like maw with teeth. I drew the closed tail mouth as a rose bud, with a bulb below the bud and the little green outer leaves. I told him I was checking off the side-view as approved and listed the remaining work, thinking we had a decent jump off point for the character design. He told me he was looking forward to the results. He asks if he can still add a necklace. I added the necklace in the fourth sketch. Upon being presented with the third sketch, he tells me the previously changed and approved muzzle "doesn't feel right at all". He also asks me to change the previously changed and approved closed tail-mouth design. I apply both of these changes. He asks me to match the size of the paws in the turn-around, which are already matched in size; I put the sketches side to side to ensure that they were, before I presented him with the sketch. So, I can't change it because the paws are already matched up. He asks me to change the teats/pouch, I apply this change. He tells me the cock has a knot; the cock is not shown, just the sheath. He did not ask for a cock, so I just drew the sheath. He says he has a sheath, which is great, because I drew a sheath. Again, can't change that. He tells me he wants the anus included from the view from below, except you wouldn't be able to see the anus from that angle, especially with the vagina mound in the way. So I can't change that because quite frankly, it would make it look like I don't know the proper placement of the anus, which he seems to believe. He "helpfully" tells me the anus "is located in the common area of the tail base". He tells me to mind the shape of the serpent heads, which is fine. It was a messy sketch but I'm quite familiar with ancient Egyptian art, that's not a problem. Current count of changes is 11 changes applied spread over 3 opportunities for Xinnova to provide feedback. On the 3 items I couldn't change I explained why I could not. I send him the fourth sketch, which includes close-ups of the genitalia, including a close-up of the anus in it's proper place. At this point, his unclear waffling on the muzzle and tail is some cause for concern for me and I tell him that this is his last batch of free revisions. I tell him to take his time in deciding what he wants to see changed and that if he wants more changes, he'll have to pay extra for the additional labor, as stated in my TOS which he agreed to. I had a feeling that otherwise, I was going to go back and forth on the muzzle and tail for a long time, if not on other parts as well if he suddenly disapproved of his previously approved changes. Keep in mind that he has currently paid $6,25 per element of the character sheet. As a professional, I can only spend so much time on a $6,25 sketch. He sends a short note, telling me he has 6 months? I set a 6 month deadline for my work, and we're already 3 months into it. But I didn't tell him he only had a day, just to take a day to think about it, since his other replies asking for changes were sent fairly quickly and then promptly disapproved of again next time 'round, I thought maybe he thought I was trying to rush things and that he didn't have time to think about it. I tell him he can take his time and give him some hints on how to put together clear reference material. I figured that, even if he could not find good images or couldn't "redline" the sketch, that he could write out something more detailed, as he lists himself as being a writer. This is where the transaction sours, in retrospect, pretty much beyond repair. I try and remain civil despite the fact he calls my experience and professionalism into question, tells me I should have done the research(?), that he only asked for a few small changes, that I refused to change things (but when prompted, doesn't tell me what I refused), that I'm not giving him opinions or options etc. I give him a play-by-play response telling him that he needs to tell me what he wants or else I can't draw it. I restate that I want him to take his time and tell me exactly what he wants so that I can change it and hopefully bring the transaction to a satisfactory conclusion. He goes on about how this commission is unique and he can't just describe it despite the fact that he is A. a writer, or says he is and B. he claims this character sheet will "define me spiritually". Despite the fact he is not an artist he tells me sketching is the easiest part of a commission and something about experience, which he doesn't have as an artist, so I don't even know where he was going with that; at this point I'm just confused and uncertain where this hostility is coming from. Stress and illness can only account for so much, I've never had a customer get angry before when I ask them what they want. But he feels like I'm cutting his head off by asking him what he wants so I can draw it for him. I initially read the note but don't reply, assuming that with time he'd send me the info I needed and we could get this business sorted. I try to go on with my day and do unrelated art, but I'm distracted and irritable and I realize that I was just waiting for the other passive aggressive shoe to drop. I wanted to bring the commission to a good conclusion, despite the brouhaha, but realized that in order to do so, I'd have to let him bully me into, essentially, work for peanuts. Well, smaller peanuts. Or the burnt, shriveled and stale bits of peanuts left in the bottom of the bag of peanuts. And that I would hate myself for it. So I terminated the transaction, as stated I am able to do in the TOS he agreed to. I even gave him a full refund. Then I told him that he could make no claim to the sketches, could not use them for anything and that I desired no further contact. I saw that he had read the note and he did not reply. I thought that would be the end of it and I was quite happy to leave it at that. That said, I still had a half-finished character sheet, which I own fully and was out about $50 of labor. Trying to recoup some of my losses I changed the design around to no longer resemble Xinnova's design (which according to him, I had failed to approximate anyway) and put it up as a pre-sketched character sheet/adoptable. AFTER I had removed all mention of Xinnova from my account, which was just in my commission list in my journals anyway. I did in no way refer, link or name him anywhere. To which [possibly NSFW, tame but feral bits]he promptly outed himself as the uncooperative and abusive customer in the very first comment. Notice his friends also joining in. I blocked them all. He then posts a harassing journal linking directly to my submission, breaking the Terms of Service of FurAffinity. When a moderator deletes his post and gives him a warning, he complains about how he was just defending his good name which would have never been jeopardized if he had dropped the matter when he was refunded. You'll notice the blatant discrepancies between his communication with me and what he tells his friends: That I was insulting and attacking him, that he only asked for 4-5 small changes and that I didn't do half, that I have "butchered" his name publicly, that he wasn't initially prepared to pay extra for additional labor in case he needed numerous changes and so forth. Interestingly, there's apparently 3-4 of his friends who filed Trouble Tickets about me/my pre-sketched commission, despite they were never even peripherally involved with this transaction. Harassment, name-calling, insults and the like ensue, all based on what little skewed information they had. Which brings us to this post. In conclusion: Do not work with this person. He doesn't know what he wants and gets angry when you don't either and refuse to do endless revisions until he makes up his mind, which might be never; he wants other people to define him spiritually, which is just never going to happen. It's not worth it and neither is the resulting abuse and libel he uses to whip his friends into an ignorant frenzy. Friends, whom I should add, who would also probably be best avoided if these statements are indicative of their true nature. I'll probably get more abuse and harassment for this post, but I honestly think it's worth it if I can save at least one other artist from this frustration and aggravation; You are better than this, do not work with him.
  7. 8. Nov. 7th, 2011 at 9:21 AM crssafox WHO: FuziBuni WHERE: http://fursuitauctions.livejournal.com/2166964.html (original post is screen capped in case of deletion or editing) WHAT: A large remnant of golden coyote faux fur - when received, it had a very heavy distinctly animal smell to it. WHEN: Early October (currently ongoing) PROOF: I got no reply after this email, so I posted a comment in the original LJ post, since I'd seen she'd been active on LJ and FA, hoping she'd get that. I still got no response, so I sent another e-mail. EXPLAIN: I bought a large remnant of faux fur from close to retail price from FuziBuni earlier in October, with the intent of using it to make tails for sale. October is usually incredibly busy for me sales-wise, and I'm always getting asked for wolf tails, so when I saw FuziBuni was selling some fabric I had been eyeballing over at I'm Stuffed, I decided to help her clear out her closet and make a little extra cash. When I received the box, immediately upon opening there was a heavy animal odor. Upon inspection, the odor was coming from the fabric itself. I let the fabric sit outside on my patio table for a while to air out, and later asked both my husband and my roommate if they could detect the odor as well, since I sometimes have a sensitive nose and I wanted to be sure it wasn't something that just I could smell. They agreed there was definitely an animal scent, so I made attempts at cleaning the fur, including washing in a side-loading washing machine (twice), dousing with Nature's Miracle cat formula, air-drying in the dryer, and letting it hang outdoors to try and air out there. It still maintains the smell. I e-mailed FuziBuni after all of my attempts to remove the odor, but didn't receive a reply. The next day I posted a comment in the original fursuit_auctions thread to notify her that I'd sent her an e-mail, and still got no reply. Finally, I sent her a second e-mail and told her that if I heard nothing back, I would be opening a PayPal dispute, and finally heard back from her. She claimed to have no idea how the scent could have gotten onto the fabric, and suggested it may have been sprayed by a cat while in transit. (I had her ship it to my public address, at a shipping store that receives packages for me so they don't sit outside, so unless a cat got into a postal warehouse or onto a truck, I don't see how this would have been possible.) I replied to let her know that, because of the odor, I feel the fabric is not usable for me, since my intent had been to create new-for-sale items with it. I told her I was open to various options to work this out, including sending it back if she'd refund the $40 (the total less what she paid for shipping) so she could try re-selling it, or perhaps a partial refund in which I would keep the fabric but use it on something else that would not be sold, most likely a dog pillow. Truth be told, the fur itself is in nice condition despite the smell, so if someone were to use it on a personal project or for something not being sold as a brand new item, it might be okay. So while I would have preferred the $40 refund, I would have worked something else out, too. In response, I was told that she didn't have the money to do any kind of a refund, and that she would have to sell other items in order to send me any money. She also wondered if the smell could have been from the plastic aging funny. I let her know that the odor was distinctly animal, and that I needed some kind of resolution by November 4 or I would have to open a PayPal dispute due to the time constraints. I never heard from FuziBuni again after that, despite her continuing to be active online. Finally, on the evening of the 4th, I opened a PayPal dispute under the premise that the item received was not as described - there had been no disclosure of the heavy animal smell in the original listing. As of yet, she has not replied via PayPal's resolution center, nor has she sent any e-mails. It would appear my requests for resolution are just being ignored. At this point, the only resolution I want is a full refund, including what I initially paid for shipping, and to return the fabric to FuziBuni for her to deal with as she sees fit. I not only wasted my time during my busiest month in an effort to salvage the fabric, I've also lost revenue I could have earned had I just bought the fabric brand new in the first place, as my biggest window for selling the wolf tails I'd planned to make has passed since Halloween has come and gone. I understand that there was a minor risk involved when buying fur second-hand from someone that states they own animals. However, not only do I own animals, but I've also purchased from others that own animals before, and have never had this kind of a problem. "I own animals" doesn't necessarily mean that the fabric is going to contain an odor - had it been disclosed from the beginning that this fabric had an animal smell to it, I never would have purchased it, most certainly not for the like-new price. I feel I did my best to work things out with her at this point, but I really can't afford to donate money to someone in exchange for a large piece of fabric I can't even use. Edit: As of 2:28, FuziBuni has initiated a refund via PayPal and it is set to clear on the 14th. Once it clears I will send the fur back to her, and edit this post as well as notify the mods of resolution. Edit 11/17/11: The refund cleared via PayPal on Monday. I boxed the fur back up to return to FuziBuni, and it was sent out via postal service with delivery confirmation yesterday morning. Edit 11/22/11: My delivery confirmation reflects that the box was delivered yesterday, so the return is complete and I'm considering this matter to be resolved. I would urge others to use caution when dealing with Fuzibuni; I had absolutely zero direct communication from her from the time that I initiated the dispute, to the time the refund was sent and cleared, save for the comment she made immediately after this post went through. I'm glad that other folks have received furs from her in good condition - I really wish that she'd been open and communicated with me instead of ignoring attempts to work things out outside of a dispute.
