  1. Im not if if you meant to send that, but that guide says literally email them on patreon and ask for a refund. The user is ignoring me, I have already asked for a refund.
  2. I joined a pin club, and I have not received multiple rewards I have paid for. User is ignoring me. Because patreon is a monthly thing, is there a way to get refunds through them? It was paid out from my patreon balance, and did not go through my paypal.
  3. Provide proof to the mods to update the tag
  4. I just wont bother then, I wouldnt even know where to start with the fact that I was clearly buying from an overseas mass production company hiring some translator to act like I was receiving a hand crafted item. Thanks anyways. Im leaving it up to paypal dispute.
  5. Individual said 'not really' when I asked if it was their paypal I paid. (They said it was another company, but the mailing address matches the paypal. I didnt want to cost them chargeback fees if it was their personal account and it really is a compnay) I have no idea who I paid. I started a chargeback. Is there anyone I can work 1on1 with a mod to submit this as a beware? Theres SO many twitter DMs and the situation is SO weird that I dont even know where to start.
  6. They explained it wrong, they will be visiting my country for vacation, and want me to mail it to them here. IDK how I would be getting a refund cause they said cash. They are adamant that they are just a dude helping a friend translate, and has nothing to do with the company. I will likey just do a chargeback at this point.
  7. Honestly, It got a lot more complicated where the person I am talking to is just a translator, and not anyone making the hoodie, and the company is saying no refund, no remake. I thought I was commissioning a self employed furry artist, as thats how it was presented to me. I was never told it was a company or anything, I even paid the individual, and not a company. I am being offered a really weird meet in person in 1-2 months and swap the 1st hoodie for cash, out of the individuals pocket, and not from the company or endorsed by it.
  8. I ordered a custom hoodie. Was shown no wips. An art template and then final product. Size sheet was provided with waist and length of body. Received hoodie, arms are SUPER short, marking band on arm is smaller circumference than rest of arm. Eye color is wrong. Between me giving the mistakes and getting the artist to agree to remake, there was also trouble and they were very rude and saying I ordered wrong size and stuff. Artist admits they did eye color wrong, but mailed it anyways (later says this was not true). Later I find out English isnt their first language, so they may not have been rude on purpose, but they were saying stuff like it was my fault, and following me in a chat where I asked for advice over the eyes, saying I was being rude about them and stuff. (never once released their name or the full product) Again, no WIPs. See finished image and tracking number. Images are hard to see but looks like good. I dont notice the leaves or tail because I didnt expect them to change it. Leaves and tail are changed. Eyes are wrong color. I showed a light lilac/purple, and its got super dark purple eyes. Artist says that they cant match eye colors. Never told me anything about not matching the eye color, just said they would fix it. Other hoodies use light purple, so its clearly not true. Im not even super upset with the eyes, as I understand they cant match exact, but I would have absolutely preferred they try and get it to the character at least, The leaves and tail are awful. The tail looks like they just put blobs, and the leaves have no details. Artist Says " I need to lear from all this experience and talk to the team because i clearly see some weak points to improve (all the troubles mentioned before) But thats all i can do. I think 😕" I can include a close up of the tails and leaves without outting the maker OR the character its for.
  9. We have asked for wips again, and no contact. We messaged them early Jan and the only reply we got was to ask if we were going to a local con, when we said no, everything has been on read since. No WIP shots that I asked for last time have been provided. She claimed she was having trouble on the legs, but we have yet to see any photo aside from the badly mocked up head, which was just a ball, with eyes and bad seams.
  10. Took a commission last summer. IRL issues caused a delay, and I asked if the buyer wanted a refund. Buyer didnt reply for a long time, but when they did, stated they didnt often get on FA, and they were sorry, and they absolutely still wanted the art. Sent a WIP at the start of November, and I've heard NOTHING from them. I have also left a shout asking if they received the wip. I sent the WIP to confirm character details, but the commission was a wing it. I would rather confirm the details because I am unsure of them. A refund is not ideal, they were very clear they wanted the art. They specifically told me they dont get online often, but it's been a vew months versus the few weeks from the other reply. I have no other contact for them, just FA name. Should I? - wait for a reply -finish the image and fix stuff if they reply -post a seeking AB EDIT; I actually checked his faves, and he has faved something created in 2020, so he HAS been on FA since I sent the note.
  11. I second a chargeback. If they provide a tracking number DO NOT CANCEL the chargeback, people have provided fake tracking #'s before and once you cancel you cannot reopen. You can always send back the money if need be.
  12. I highly doubt they intend to pay any more than what they already have. Refuse until you get full payment and DO NOT send them any unmarked versions of the other image
  13. Would posting in the general forum be okay then?
  14. Yes, but finger shape is really more of a nitpick and not a flaw on the actual character. It wasnt phrased at all that the characters fingers were drawn wrong from the ref, just that the buyer didnt like how they were drawn. 'I dont like the way this looks" versus "this is not how it looks on my character".
  15. Chargeback. The two samples doesnt even look like theyre by the same artist.
  16. I reuse ANY edits to my work, except cropping for icons, but I'd just add the shadow in, or ask if you wanted it for a fee, but then again, I'd have clear samples, not two different types. I do find them getting upset with the edits to the stickers a bit ridiculous because they didnt provide proper wips. But I can see being upset of asking for fingers to be redrawn and stuff, but they really should have provided proper wips.
  17. Is there a specific section to ask AB members for art trades, or to buy art? If not, I guess this is a suggestion post.
  18. Take a screenshot of them agreeing to pay the shipping, send it to them, and provide paypal info. If you have proof they agreed, and they refuse to pay, post them here and see if its accepted.
  19. Ask for a new charm. It would count as 'item not as described', and you mentioned the size more than once. Also, you should check that the longest side is not 5cm. A lot of odd shaped designs can look smaller, or be long, or whatnot.
  20. I strongly suggest ALWAYS adding if there is a mildew/mold issue, even if you think its not a problem. I am deathly allergic, and if I had purchased this I would have been extremely upset, and very likely hospitalized. The buy is in the wrong here; it should have been immediately packed up and sent back, with a full refund + postage. But I can see, maybe the buyer through you were trying to get out of a refund by suggesting another cleaner? Either way, buyer should send the suit back. Im probably the minority here, but I absolutely think, even with the missing parts (health hazard) a full refund is in order. It was purchased under false pretenses, and clearly harming the buyers housemates.
  21. I think this is a weird situation because there is no statement on WHAT quality they are supposed to get, and theres no samples. I could see that the client thought they might be getting shaded, and was upset they got flats. They may not have seen your price sheet. But also, the YCH price doesnt always equate the style price. I do agree they are not entitled to a full refund at all. If I had made this mistake I would have offered a partial refund. If I fulled refunded I would tell them they CAN NOT use the artwork at all. It's not paid for.
  22. Around this time of year, international shipping can take upwards of 65 days. Let them know its the holiday season and theres shipping delays on USPS's side.
  23. When I've bought items Ive had to input the tracking number in to my own local posts site to get updated tracking. Where I live the shipper is responsible for finding lost packages, and will need to contact the post (they wont let buyers do it) for an insurance claim. You may also be able to force a paypal refund, because you never got the item you paid for.
  24. They had given a Halloween completion date. Contacting them last night and they now say December. This is also after their 'maybe' of early August. They gave a $50 refund for the delay. Refused to give WIP photos again. They also have never updated us whenever something happened either; they are currently out of country, and had a flood earlier. Found out via group chat. I had brought these up as concerns to them, and they apologized and gave the partial refund. I mentioned that not showing proof wasnt normal and they still refused. (they also said they had given us wips; we had only seen a digital eye mock up, and a badly put together temp ball for the head) They said that when they return from OOC they will send wips once they start building the plush. My partner is very adamant he gets the plush, but I am warning him it's very likely he will not get it. I asked twice for when I can expect the wips when they return, and both times was ignored.
