About Me

 1. MOD NOTE: This artist has completed all their outstanding commissions. Originally posted on Apr. 23rd, 2013 by missicee WHO: Pirate-Cashoo WHERE: www.furaffinity.net/user/Pirate-Cashoo Pirate-cashoo.deviantart.com www.hentai-foundry.com/user/zombiepirate/profile pirate-cashoo.tumblr.com/ WHEN: November 11, 2011 WHAT: Hi Res Full Color Commission via her FA account ($150 paid) EXPLAIN: I commissioned her for another hi res full color commission on November 11th, 2011 after having two prior commissions with her that went smoothly and without trouble. I attempted to communicate with her regarding my commission as best I could over time but she was certainly difficult to reach. After the recent outbreak of AB posts and Paypal chargebacks, I tried to work out a peaceful resolution with her and put faith in her to finally complete my commission and start to fix her growing negative reputation but her actions and responses (or often lack thereof) have shown me that she isn't as interested as I had hoped she would be. The following three images should speak for themselves and contain all the proof necessary including the screencap of the Paypal transaction. I created them to submit as proof for a Paypal claim so please excuse the brief explanation of things people of this community may consider common knowledge. Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: The Paypal claim was opened today and I am hoping they will file in my favor. If they do not, I will be attempting to get my money back through my bank. I am disappointed that someone with such talent is choosing to take this path but I attempted to give her the benefit of the doubt by letting her fix this and she chose not to. BEWARE!! EDIT 1: Paypal apparently automatically closed my case against her as it was over 45 days old. Guess it's time for me to go to my bank... EDIT 2: Filed a claim with my bank today (April 24th)... I should hear in the next 14 days if they're able to help me as typically they are only able to file cases within 90 days. If it doesn't work, I will follow the advice to call Paypal. EDIT 3: (May 3rd) Bank was unable to help due to the amount of time that's elapsed... going to try calling Paypal instead of filing online but at this point, I just think my money is gone :C

As said in the e-mail, Squared-Away commissioned me to draw his pony character in the links posted in the aforementioned message. He wanted his character's armor drawn in a certain way, which I followed. He wanted his character drawn with the background he linked, which I followed. However, he never specified to me if the background/setting was supposed to be in a daytime setting, or nighttime setting. So, I went with a night time setting: Commission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10295327/ His initial description when he first posted was that I should have "asked him what time of day he wanted the setting as". I wasn't aware that I was supposed to ask him that, and I was just following his directions that he gave me in his first e-mail. Regardless, he left a passive-aggressive comment about it, how he wasn't happy about the commission, I wanted to leave a comment to resolve this, but, I decided not to. There was a period of time, where I was suspended from FurAffinity over another matter that doesn't pertain to this situation, but I also had a backlog before he asked me for a commission that I was still working on. So I was still working on my backlog, as well as his commission during my suspension, and I've been trying to keep contact with all of my clients as well, to assure them that I am still working on their product. http://pingagirl.tumblr.com/post/47190827464/im-sticking-with-ych-auctions-for-mlp-related This was my tumblr post, which is also related to the incident, but it was in my personal blog, and I was just venting some frustration. I wasn't insulting him, or anything of the sort, just expressing my negative feelings about the matter. So, I find out sometime later, that he changed his description of the commission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10295327/ http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/7946/theponynamedsquaredaway.png To where he was making it seem like the commission was a waste of money, even though he gave me the thumbs up to finish the commission, AND when he asked for a refund, I was going to give his money back via a partial refund, and give him the unfinished sketch as well. This was a mistake on my part, as I had to withdraw money from my bank to give it to him, so I didn't have money on my paypal account at the time. Note, I never spent his money, only moved it, and it would have taken a few days to move money back to my paypal account; that's why there was a delay. He changed his mind about the refund, and wanted me to finish it, which I did. Now, he's calling me a bad artist, and trying to damage my reputation by calling me such, and leaving a message as such on the front of his FA page, seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/squared-away/ http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/9905/userpageofsquaredawayfu.png The only thing I couldn't do was the Gothic type, because...as embarrassing as this sounds, I don't have gothic type on my computer, and I don't know how to install new fonts on it. x_x I've never had the need to do so.
 3. Originally posted on Apr. 14th, 2013 by isteillia I've not posted on LJ in a while, as I've been more active on Tumblr, but I felt that those who still deal between the sites might appreciate the heads up. Back in November (2012) I commissioned Pleg to do a piece of art. Names have been blacked out for privacy. https://i.imgur.com/jNoVKWt.jpg She seemed fine with the piece I asked for. I went ahead and paid for it.https://i.imgur.com/3YyP2Um.jpg I don't hear from her for quite a few months, so I ping her. In February. https://i.imgur.com/YSQfOzG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/6iCvFPW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9HE69tW.jpg I am told it's "too complicated." I'm a bit irritated, but tell her I can go for something less detailed, or take a refund. She says she can do something less detailed and that she will work on it. I never hear from her again. So I ping her a week ago (As seen above) and no response. I also sent her an ask on Tumblr, since I saw her post. Still no response. I'm also a stupidly nice person, and sent the payment as a "Gift/Payment Owed" instead of "Goods/Services" to keep her from paying fees, so I am unable to dispute the payment and get the money back. I'm normally a patient person when it comes to commissions, but this lack of communication is what turns me from patient to bitter and angry. Avoid commissioning this artist if you can, you may not get what you paid for at all. Edit: Situation has been resolved; she got back to me finally and is issuing a refund. Still rather irritated that this took so long, but I'm glad it's done with.

I opened a money request via Paypal, trying to get her attention on March 6th, 2013: http://sta.sh/0yhaclqb1oe As of today (April 2, 2013) I have checked her profile, and she was actively logged in six days ago. She won’t reply to my email, and won’t send me my final piece. I have been polite and have been waiting for my promised art for six months now, which I find completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I want to warn commissioners of this artist and would still like a refund, or my final piece that was promised. (Edit 1-05/01/2013) Today she has posted a journal on DeviantART (http://fav.me/d63qoz5) talking about her medical problems and everything she has been enduring, along with this sentence at the bottom: "if you're still waiting on a commission, as i know a few of you are, i greatly apologize. i'm still locating some files from when my computer was wiped, but i will get back to you, i promise. the art must go on! i cannot offer refunds at this time, but i will offer apology freebies if you're interested in another piece. i feel terrible that some of you have had to wait so long, and i hope you can forgive me and return in the future!" Yet she has not responded to my email, but my note does show as read, She uploaded the sketch that she showed me back in January- http://fav.me/d63qry2 Update: 07/21/2013 The artist has finally uploaded my commission and opened up more slots. 5. Orginally posted on Apr. 1st, 2013 by vaerinn WHO: Zipperface WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/zipperface WHAT: Coloured+shaded wing-it commission, $50 WHEN: On 12 March 2012 I commissioned Zipperface and paid them. A few hours later I was sent a WIP of the picture for approval, which I gave. A month went by without anything more from the artist, though they were still active on FA and their Tumblr at the time. On 25 April 2012 I sent them a note asking for an update, at which point I was told they were in trouble. A few months later they'd cleaned up shop and left FA entirely. PROOF: Initial exchange: Proof of payment: Later note: FA page as it is now: EXPLAIN: Zipperface had a journal offering a single slot for a one character wing-it, coloured and shaded, to be done using some new colouring method or style they wanted to experiment with. I noted them and got the slot, paying them as soon as they asked. I was sent a WIP just an hour or so later, and after that, nothing. About a month later I saw they were open for pencil sketch commissions and noted them asking how my commission was coming along, only to be told that the picture was coloured but that nothing more could be done till they replaced their broken tablet. I was willing to wait, so I was willing to let it go. Just a few months later, though, I stopped by Zipperface's FA and found that all scraps, favorites, contact info and journals had been deleted, and that their Tumblr (name of which I can't remember) was deleted when I checked in on that, too. Since then I've tried noting them, leaving shouts, and even e-mailing them, but I haven't heard anything and, judging by the other shouts on their FA page, neither has anyone else. Long story short, I'm out 50 bucks and Zipperface is MIA. I have no idea what's going on with them, or even if they're still around. If they're still active somewhere online, I have no idea what name they're going by now.

When: September 2012 Proof: Screenshots will be Provided below Details: 1. While at Saboten2012 I was selling a few things at a mini flea market the con had going on Saturday night. Among the things I was selling was a fursuit tail. Ravinghachi approached me asking if I would trade art the tail. An agreement was reached, and she left with the tail. 2. I sent her the details for the badges when I got home. The original note can be seen here (this is the 'lots of details' image) which has links and a detailed description outlining what I specifically wanted for the badges. 3. On November 2nd I received this reply that progress was excellent and she could drop them off if we set up a place to meet. During the holiday season it's really difficult for me have to for meeting people, so I asked for a scan. She said her scanner was broken, but had been uploading a lot of photos during that time. I asked if it was possible for her to send a photo of the badges. 4. On November 26th she sent me a note saying she was going to post my badge that night, but days went by and the scan wasn't posted. 5. On November 30th she responded the same day with a link to the badge (screenshot here). This is the badge that was posted. It's cute and all, but not really what I had asked for. In my reply I tried to politely express my concern for the lack of second badge and my description not being followed. She told me the second badge was still being worked on. I tried to figure out what to do about the first badge being incorrect and communication ceased. 6. I then saw her wearing the tail at TaiyouCon (Jan 4-6) while working at my dealer's table. Unfortunately I was unable to talk to her in person. 7. On Jan 8th I sent her a note which was read within 24 hrs, but has not been answered. That note can be seen here. 8. I left another comment on her page of Feb 23rd (screenshot here from my nexus). When I checked back tonight she had deleted it, with no answer to me at all (screenshot here). She responded by saying she didn't see/delete the comments. (I seem to have misplaced that screenshot.) I asked again for the money she owes me, she told me she had to use her mother's paypal because she didn't have one. 9. I waited again with no contact, so I left another comment on her front page. Her responses are here. She says her Paypal money was stolen, and that's why she can't pay me. 10. I noted her as mentioned, this is the final note I sent, which was read, before making this post. Here's the entire album of screenshots, since there are too many to post above. (Mod note: No other relevant to beware images were in this LiveJournal image folder at the time of archiving this post.) EDIT: 4/22/13 My account has been blocked. [screenshot] I'm obviously not getting my money or anything else from this artist. TL:DR RavingHachi and I agreed to a trade at Saboten2012: my $60 tail for two conbadges by her. After being given specific instructions, she did one of the badges which did not follow the guidelines set. After I mentioned to her that it wasn't right, she flipped out on me and stopped answer my messages. After trying to contact her again she blocked me and deleted my comments, then proceeded to tell people 'it was settled and she had paid me'. This isn't true: she still has the tail, and I didn't receive either of the conbadges. EDIT: 3/20/2014 I have not been compensated for the tail as of this writing, contrary to what this she is currently telling people.

I said I was and would give him a spot for a digital sketch. He was fine with this, however, he said he would not be able to get back to me until reference of his character was done by another artist. I told him that was fine, and I could wait. He thanked me, and went on his way. December 13th, he returned, ready for me to do his commission. I gladly accepted and he gave me the description and references needed to start his commission. Afterword, he sent me the payment. After a few other commissions I had done, I finally got to his, completed it, and sent it off to him. He responded, complimenting me and thanking me, and went on his way. He later posted the image in his gallery, which was perfectly alright as I allow every single one of my clients to post their commissions, unless told otherwise. 3 months later, he filed a charge-back against me for unknown reasons. As I have described in this entry of mine: http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/664815.html he had apparently done this to many other artists as well. He eventually faked his own death because he was being harassed about it, and made another account pretending to be someone else. And that should be be about it. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, as he was pretty pleasant to work with. Currently, I have not gotten anything from Paypal yet.

EXPLAIN: I discovered Cashoo through A_B and decided to give her a go since her past cases were resolved and thought she'd changed, I saw she was looking for some help to raise money for her first months rent and decided to jump on the deal. After discussing details with my boyfriend I went ahead and sent her the email as well as the payment of $185 plus another $20 for the detail background after finally hearing from her on the 9th of September, then on the 13th of October she requested yet another $20 for props (his guitar) I told her if things went well with my other commissions I'd pay it off to her. After my last email which was sent on the 14th of October I sent another on the 19th of November asking how she was doing and how the commission was coming along (I also sent an email during some down time on FA on 09/10/12) with no response until I sent another email on November 23rd after reading her latest beware here, I let her know how I felt about the emails she was sending and didn't want my commission experience to end up like this and suggested that she try to show her customers that she is working on their commissions through private or public live streams, talk to me about a deadline she could meet (which we never did), or even update me again on any progress on my commission. From her response it felt like she didn't even read or understand my email to her and began to ramble about things that weren't even relevant to the email. She told me she'd give a more thought out and thorough reply, which I never got and I continued to pester her on the same day she sent me the email responding to mine and then on every month since this year started - Jan 7th, Feb 5th, and March 3rd with nothing back from her. EDIT #1: Corrected a typo and adding a screenshot of my latest email to her after posting on her Deviant Art page stating that I had posted her here and would be emailing her soon. From Me: Email - 03/22/13 EDIT #2: I'd like to add that I am considering a chargeback or following the flock of those wanting to contact Paypal together to get them to look into what she's doing (or rather not doing) and getting her to either complete our commissions(?) or give us all refunds to the work she has not completed. An Email regarding my previous post to this edit. EDIT #3: Awhile ago I sent an email giving her a deadline of April 29th 2013 to either complete the commission, refund, refund+give permission to the rights of the image to have it altered by another artist. She has not emailed me back so I'm going to assume "No" for all of those requests, I'll be getting my boyfriend to file the charge back since this was going on during our shared Paypal/Bank Account time and I'll update with how things are going/went. EDIT #4: We've contacted Paypal Customer Services and received a refund for our September 22nd transaction of $20 and have been instructed to contact our bank for a chargeback for the initial transaction of $190. Paypal has informed us that we should see our money within 24hrs from the call. - This can be marked as resolved! Also for anyone with Bank of America you have a very slim chance at getting back money past 60 days of initial transaction (what we were told) but they told us they'd look into it (could take up to 90 days) but it is very unlikely that they'd go through with it. EDIT #5: After about a month or so of getting the money back for our commission out Bank went and took it back... So I dunno if anyone would count this as resolved still (my boyfriend personally doesn't because now we're in the negatives because of it).

I paid in full up front for both of these images but went a long time without contacting her, because the 'honor system' has worked out fine for me in the past. I bought a second picture from her when the other one was a year overdue, which was stupid of me - but I honestly lost track of just how long it had really been. So it's partly on me that it has reached this point. I took way too blase an attitude to buying art online, but I've learned from this. I had bought pictures from Cashoo successfully a couple of times in the past, and arranged to buy one of her high-res commissions when she opened them up in a journal. The price for it was $140. This was October 2011. I paid for it in full upfront. This is where I let things go for quite a while. I bought a couple of bust images from her, and both were completed in a decent timeframe - so I wasn't too worried about the high-res at that point. 10/14/2012: I checked in with her about and she said it was nearly done. At this point, the problem she was having was something to do with a car; I'm a little fuzzy on details now. I figured the high-res was forthcoming and bought a two-character sketch from her for 90 bucks to help her out (I know. Dumb of me.) 11/12/2012: She replied to me saying she had started a sketch but lost it in some kind of computer disaster. Promised to give a sketch in 'the next few days', and said she would do it tonight except she had to pay $200 in bills tomorrow? What that has to do with sketching now, I don't even know. I kept my response positive because I was still hoping to get my picture. Journals about various personal problems holding her progress were posted in this timeframe. 12/4/2013: No sketch. She had posted one of those long whiny journals, but I wanted a specific update about my picture and sent an FA note. It was read, but not responded to. Late December 2012: After my note on FA went ignored, I saw her post a Tumblr update about doing a stream. I unfortunately don't have screenshots of this, but I stepped into the stream and talked to her. She apologized repeatedly for still not having a sketch and said my picture was next in the queue after the one she was currently working on (which was Svarta-Perlan's, another AB entry). She offered to upgrade the sketch I bought in October 2012 to a colored sketch as an apology for the wait. Yeah, okay, fine. January-February 2013: I sent a couple of Tumblr asks requesting updates, because that seemed to be the site she was using most regularly. Tumblr doesn't record those...but they weren't responded to, anyway. March 12 2013: Sent another FA note asking for an update. Still unread a week later, though she has been replying to comments on DA. As of today - I still have yet to see even a rough sketch on either image. Her story on DA comments is now that's she's facing eviction. Who knows. I honestly just hope I'll get either the commissions or a full refund at some point. She sent me an invite to the Asana program and showed me a WIP of my high-res commission (refined sketch with lighting shaded in). So there has been progress.

WHEN: I am unsure exactly when I first contacted her but it was a day or two before payment was made. payment was made on the 10th of December 2012. After seeing her put up commissions that were advertised after mine, I sent her an email on the 16th of February asking for an estimate of the completion time. On March the 2nd I sent her another email asking for a refund if she was unable to do the commission within a week. And on March 12th, I still had not got a refund or my commission. She asks how much I paid and my paypal. I figure this is to look through her records to confirm what I commissioned. Instead she gives me a refund, which I DID NOT ASK FOR. You may think I would be happy with a refund, but I did not ask for this. I want what I've been waiting for all these long months, my art. Artist appears to have given up at this point. She states that she was almost done but would rather just refund. February 5th: Artist posts a journal saying she will be responding to everyone soon. When I complain that I only wanted my art, she says she will do a fullbody art piece and says I don't need to send the money back. She says that it is mostly done and just needs to be shaded and she will email it to me asap. WHO: PuddingCup88 WHERE: PuddingCup88.deviantart.com WHAT: A Trade for a Fursuit Head and Tail (From Me) For A Keyblade prop, Tail, Feet Base, and some fur. (From Her) WHEN October 14th, 2012 - Maybe January when I started having trouble. PROOF: http://oi50.tinypic.com/2it2791.jpg http://oi47.tinypic.com/24pky75.jpg http://oi49.tinypic.com/2zqalcm.jpg http://oi47.tinypic.com/1pckmx.jpg EXPLAIN: So, I saw her work in a group, and really loved her feetpaws, so I sent over a note asking about them. That's what her first comment replies to. We struck up a kind of friendship during this. This was my first trade, and I was new to the business world. I really loved a keyblade she had made as well, which became one of the items in the trade. All went well, easy contact and exchanging necessary information. I do believe -- this should have been a red flag for me -- My biggest mistake was to agree to send it in time for Halloween. I sent out the package, and I asked about her sending the keyblade. I should've taken "My Mom Sent it" as another red flag at that point. I'm thinking I missed some Notes here (Went through all my notes) or the messages were through skype, as she had failed to tell me that Pakko arrived, and I only knew because of shipping. I had posted an advice post around now about this, as the keyblade was taking longer to arrive than it should have. Luckily it arrived around a week after that. Contact seemed to have died after she got Pakko. She decided to sell him after Halloween ( http://oi48.tinypic.com/13z5u15.jpg ) which I wouldn't really have minded much if it was not for the fact I had only ONE of the items she needed to send me. So, I proceeded to send her a note in November or December for updates. Come January and still nothing, despite her stating she's going to send everything out. By now I had gotten more experience dealing in business, and simply was quite angered at this, and wanted to get it over with and get my stuff. Now it's February. I've completed 1 complete head, 1 almost complete head, and 2 head bases in this time, so I have gained more experience in buying and selling and simply do not comprehend how she is not done and shipping things to me. I'm just really annoyed, and decided it's finally time to make a Beware on her.
 14. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/655973.html WHO: Sweetnightmare - Operator of Business Scixzor - Husband and Business partner. He handles customer service tickets when silver is "overwhelmed" WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/sweetnightmare WHAT: A partial fursuit originally to be finished on Dec 25th as the deadline. (Later extended, as will explain.) WHEN: Aug 2012 - Feb 2013 Proof/Explain: - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4344146/ - FurAffinity Admins asked to take down the journal, here is a screenshot of it. http://imgur.com/EowoH5R I commissioned sweetnightmare in Aug of 2012 to create a fursuit of my fursona Inukaza. I paid up front, later upgrading to a full suit. When I first commissioned her, I made a request to be updated by photo every month. At first, she was willing, and sent updates. October was the last update I received. Afterwords, every half-month I would ask for a photo update, to which she would respond that they did not have a camera to take the update with. Contrary to that fact, they were still able to upload pictures with a camera that they acquired, yet still were able to come up with a excuse to not give progress photos. Oh wait. That's because they were hiding the fact that there was no process. Well, to make this factual, reasonable process. Today, Feb 15th, 2013, 5 months, 20 days from the day I ordered the product, I received a box full of supplies. To clarify, I asked her to send me the supplies, because it was getting absurd about how long I was waiting. The due date for this project was in December. What did I receive? What does almost 6 months of progress look like? 1. A few yards of black and brown fur. Not enough for full suit, maybe not even enough brown to create the rest of the partial. Once I check with the amazing person who might be finishing this suit for me, I'll update this. ( http://i.imgur.com/6JzTZRY.png ) 2. Foam Base ( http://imgur.com/a/Elifk ) <--- Actual photo. 2.A. Here is a progress photo she sent from Oct. 2012. Please compare. ( http://i.imgur.com/vNIAGZv.jpg) 3. White and Black sculpey, for teeth and mouth. 4. Slippers. (I can't tell where she got them from, decent.) 5. Foam for eyes, mouth, ears. 6. Cut-outs for paws. Not sewn in. 7. Some thread. (Here's her actual list of what she said she was sending me. She sent what she said she would. http://i.imgur.com/BYI5sNo.png). What's not included? 1. Polyfill, she said there was no room in the box to put it. I beg to differ, I personally could have fit it in there. However, I won't argue it, as it could be said to have been done to not crush the head base. 2. Foam for foot paws. At this point, it would have been nice to still offer a refund for those supplies or buy a bigger box, I was paying for shipping either way. 3. Completed fursuit. Seriously. (By this I mean it in a sarcastic way, I know I asked for the materials, however, I was led to be aware up until she told me what was in the package that the tail, footpaws, and more of the handpaws were done. So, recap. I got a foam base, and supplies to make a fursuit. Meaning, tail wasn't even started to be worked on. Handpaws only partially done, and head....well, you can see with the photos from above. You might be asking, why did I deal with this? She apparently has had tons of issues thought out the past few years. I want to, and I actually do, believe her. Of course, shit happens, sometimes you have to deal with what's thrown at you. Bad anxiety, home issues, relationship issues. (She her journals on her page to confirm and read up on the nature of it and make your own opinions). I felt bad, and I went along with it. However, throughout my contacts with her, I was constantly led to believe that this project would be done sooner. Here's some documentation. 10/03/2012: I asked what I can expect to be done by the next monthly update. ( http://i.imgur.com/SsuCNb9.png ) 10/23/2012: I asked how many commissions are ahead of mine, to get a gauge on how many she has. Just a FYI, at this point she has started selling her services every other week. She still is selling fursuits at this point. ( http://i.imgur.com/JNQxy7h.png ) 10/29/2012: I was discussing upgrading to a full suit. I asked for a photo update for the month of November now, she said her cam was being derpy. ( http://i.imgur.com/J5xCdVT.png ) 11/05/2012: I asked her about a time frame to expect the photos. She mistakenly confused it for asking when the suit was done, and clarified her deadline. As well as promising to get my photo update. ( http://imgur.com/a/8qU6N ) 11/29/2012: I am getting really ticked at this point. I tell her that even though I'm her friend, it's stupid that this is becoming impossible to get updates. Her husband comes over on her skype to explain the situation. I made her aware that if she can not deliver updates, do not promise them. ( http://imgur.com/a/PhiZo ) This same day, she says she needs more time on the suit. ( http://imgur.com/QlqCQ3N ). 12/13/2012: Asked for a photo update. Never came. ( http://i.imgur.com/1E5IKad.png ). 12/26/2012: I asked for a update. No response. ( http://i.imgur.com/7LVnZha.png ). 1/02/2013: She offered a refund at this point when I confronted her about the updates, but with no sight of when I'd get it. At this point, I've heard stories from past commissioners who have stated that when they asked for a refund they didn't receive it til half a year later. I opted to keep on going with it. ( http://imgur.com/1CZcSfR ) This is where the lies start kicking in. She lied about the progress the suit was in. She states the tail and feet are done. Neither of which were started in reality. And the hand paws were further progressed than what they were in reality. ( http://i.imgur.com/6vahOk4.png ). 1/03/2013: Apparently there is now four suits in front of me. Remember back in Oct. 2012 when there were only three that were almost done? ( http://i.imgur.com/GphSFXV.png ). Late Jan/ Early Feb: She moved to a new house, as you can see by reading her new journals. Obviously and understandably, suit making was not the first thing on her mind. At this point I'm getting tired of asking for updates. 2/02/2013: I asked for another update. She said there were more suits in front of mine. Others were rushed orders. No shit, really, mine is a rush order by now. It's 2 months overdue at this point. ( http://i.imgur.com/VLESINJ.png ) She requested me to send all updates to her husband, scixzor scixzor. All updates, notes, requests that I sent to him were read, and ignored. By ignored, I mean he did not send a response, including those that deliberately requested him to reply. ( http://i.imgur.com/68oVAog.png ) 2/05/2013: I asked her to just send me supplies for unfinished suit so I could finish it myself. I am still under the impression that everything is pretty much done. She still says that it would be done and shipped by the end of Feb, the absolute final due date. ( http://i.imgur.com/K33TUGA.png ) 2/06/2013: She sends a message saying she wants to send me the unfinished suit. ( http://i.imgur.com/JfsoxgJ.png ) I asked her to write a detailed invoice telling what she has done, and what needs to be done. Mostly for the reason of making this journal. It was a way for her to defend herself and for things to be factual to back up my claims. She didn't send it, saying she forgot. ( http://imgur.com/QcoJAL6 ) 2/08/2013: Items sent via UPS. I paid shipping. ( http://i.imgur.com/6Hw6ekt.png ). 2/15/2013: I received items, here is a video of me opening it and going though it. Please excuse the bad lighting, out lights our out in that area of our apartment. Also, NSFW language. This was the first time I saw those items. I was pissed. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMP5FpmFoKA ) OVERALL: I feel I was scammed. She's not a reliable fursuit maker. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend commissioning her. If you have already done so, make your own choice. If you want to take this to heart, I would make the choice to cancel your order. If you want more proof, send me a note with your questions and I'll be happy to provide you with more information. Additional Information: I canceled the commissioned after a financial hardship on 1/21/13, I asked to have it reinstated on 1/27/13. ( http://imgur.com/a/E3jbu ) She was completely fine with it, not giving me any reason to believe this was a issue. The original deadline was Dec 25th. Second deadline was Feb 1st. Third Deadline was March 1st. Each time extended because I asked if she needed more time, thinking she was almost done. ( http://imgur.com/a/1ANhI ) I said I wanted to take the stress off her and take the items. I still thought that the Tail, hand paws, and foot paws were completely done, and the head was ready to foam until after this happen when she clarified what would she be sending me.( http://i.imgur.com/baidQSA.png ) Aftermath of the journal: I received several messages asking for me to take down my review, I refused. She wanted to fix this by letting me return the materials I asked for and finishing it faster. However, the entire reason I asked for the materials, legitimately, was to send them to another suit maker to use them. There is no way this can be fixed, as this is a complaint about customer service and not the fact that I expected a completed suit when I asked for the materials. There was a strong smell of smoke on the suit, I didn't think much of it. However, it turns out the person I sent the materials to finish my suit is actually allergic, so take that to heed.

Several months passed and I never heard from Rehmiel concerning my commission. Rehmiel mentioned to some potential customers that they were a little backed up on commissions, so I figured that maybe they simply had a lot of commissions and that it'd take a while before they got to mine. I continued to wait. On February 8th, I noticed that they uploaded a design for sale. By that time, I was no longer interested in the designs, because it'd been so long. I decided that I would send a note asking about a possible refund, or at least status on my commission. http://gyazo.com/51e82b96c7e00749ecdb9a24229563b5 My note was quickly read, but was not replied to. I waited a week before sending another note. http://gyazo.com/fb0ce38cf5a644784ee3975dc8584ca7 (I accidentally put June instead of July.. That was a mistake on my part.) The note went unread. Since then, I have not been able to get in contact with Rehmiel. I would add more screencaps of communication, but the thing is, there wasn't any. I was never contacted once after I sent the payment. I recently found that the artist has been active on Tumblr, including uploading personal art. I'm unsure why my notes have not been read or replied to. But I would really love to resolve this and find a solution that works for both of us. Edit: On March 1st, I was able to get in contact with Rehmiel again after sending an ask on Tumblr. I was informed that my commission would be worked on, and that a refund was not possible. (screen cap: http://gyazo.com/34b534c2670bce397cf412647e3a8d2c ) I replied to the note, but since then, I have received no further contact, and my reply went unread. Will update this with further information if I am contacted again. Hoping to see a resolve soon.
 16. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/657163.html WHO: Clay Mann aka TitanFalls WHERE: Fan Expo (Canadian comic convention) Also does work at deviantart, and titanfalls.com. This artist is a professional comic book artist that currently works for Marvel Comics. WHAT: A hand drawn commission of an X-Men character (traditional art). I approached Mr. Mann in person at the 2011 Fan Expo Comic Convention. This con is a 4 day convention, and we spoke very early on during day 1. The art was paid for in cash, $100 Canadian, up front by myself and two other friends (who each also paid $100 CAD for a piece each of their own). Each day of the convention we were told to come back and check in to see progress, and by day 4 Clay had left early to catch a flight home. Before he left, he asked each of us to email him with our addresses so that he could mail the art to us directly, implying that the pieces were with his luggage at the time. WHEN: The transaction began on August 23, 2011 which was also the date of the payment. Within a week after the con myself and both of my friends emailed him with our personal addresses. PROOF: My post-con email; friend #1's post-con email. EXPLAIN: After no reply, I waited about one month later to reach him again (Sept 30, 2011), this time trying both of his email addresses. That email was responded to 3 days later with an apology stating that he was very busy working on a mini (Magneto, which was only 3 issues long) for Marvel that required his attention. He told me to pass that along to my friends, which I told him that I would (and did). I did not hear from Clay again at all after this time. He opened up commissions again on Feb 14, 2012 on his deviantart and blog, so upon seeing this I sent him another email asking for an update, which was ignored. Friend #1 sent him another email in May 2012. This email was ignored. Friend #2 was able to reach him July 2012 and was told that all three commissions were being sent to her so that she could pass them along to us. She did not hear from him again, and no commissions were mailed to her. At this time he did apologize and gave us another reason for his busy-ness. Which is fine; crap hits the fan for people all the time and I wanted to give him the benefit of a doubt. It had been 11 months by then and while it had been an inconvenience, it was not utterly unreasonable. By the time November 2012 rolled along, I had grown tired of waiting and emailed him to ask for a refund. Once again, I was ignored. Frustrated, I had made a post to my tumblr (which was admittedly a bit bitter sounding) and later got an Ask from another user who pointed me in the direction of this community. All of this was public and could be seen by anyone. The next day friend #2 received an email from Clay, ironically enough, stating that he would have our commissions sent to us within the week and that he was sorry about everything. I wanted to, again, to give him the benefit of a doubt, but I was very unhappy with the idea of getting art that I did not want and asked a refund for. I searched around to see if this artist has had a bad rep before, and I did find a few things elsewhere. Needless to say, it was quite possibly a ruse to get me to shut up and not come here. Not sure, but either way I'm tired of waiting and my friends and I are tired of being ignored. If you are a comics fan or a convention goer and you are considering getting a personal piece of art from him, I would do so with caution.
 17. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/657806.html Alright, so, last summer somewhere around June/July of 2012, I started a fursuit trade with the user "KazeTorashi", also known as "LigercraftSuits" on FurAffinity. Things had been going well. She was always very polite and wonderful to talk to and quick to reply to any questions I had. The tail had been completed on July 23rd and can be seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8483241/ The initial deadline was to be September 19, on which day the suit should have been completed, already shipped, and in my posession as a birthday gift for myself. On September 5th, the paws to my suit and a picture of the foam base were posted. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8799803/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8800015/ This Sept. 19th deadline was missed, but I didn't mind too much seeing as she had other things on her plate that people had paid for that she had to to first and there was enough done on my fursuit for me to rest easy. There were a few more "deadlines" floating around after that, but they were all missed as well. I sat tight for the next update, and sure enough on January 4th of this year the pictures of my full partial had been posted. Hooray! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9615896/ I don't remember the exact date but not too long after that was posted up I got into a Skype conversation where we discussed shipping prices. It was decided that I would pay for shipping on the Thera partial and she would pay for shipping on my end of this trade, a black husky partial. She gave me a quote of 13$ and a few days after the Skype chat on January 17th I sent her 16$ to make sure it would cover any and all fees or extra charges. I wanted to be sure she had everything she needed of course! Screencap of the payment: http://i.imgur.com/EtZI1Nz.png On January 22nd I got my stuff together and mailed out my end of the trade. Receipt: http://i.imgur.com/aVxBWQR.jpg According to the tracking number and Canada Post website the suit arrived at the address I was given on January 28th. http://i.imgur.com/KuFmoZl.png On February 11th I asked for an update on their end of the trade via note on FA, which can be seen here: http://i.imgur.com/pnkdLRk.png That note, along with the one where I told her my end had been shipped, still haven't been read. Now I don't want to seem impatient here, but I'm starting to get a little frustrated. I have had NO contact with KazeTorashi since our Skype chat ~2 months ago and since then I've sent her a note, page shouts, an e-mail, another note to one of her roomates, and got a friend of mine with her cell number to send her a text. Still no replies at all to any of these attempts. http://imgur.com/a/cKKuK Now, I'm an EXTREMELY patient person when it comes to things like this, and I don't like pestering people, and I certainly don't want to bother or annoy the suit maker as she's always been the sweetest girl ever to deal with and I wish her the best in life and her fursuit endeavors, but I'm also not very pleased with how she's been handling this situation. The most important thing when you're running a business if to make yourself available to the people you're working with so that at least they know whether or not there's an issue. I've simply been stranded in the dust here with no idea as to what's going on with my suit and now I'm feeling like I have lost 52$ AND my black husky fursuit AND my Thera partial all at once. I'm really hoping for the best and for her to pull through on this, and it hasn't been TOO long since I last saw her around(she posted a journal on the 29th of January saying things would be shipped on her next day off work), but since she owes me my suit and some shipping money(which I don't mind letting go of if I get my fursuit!) and hasn't been in contact at all, it makes me worry that something might be wrong. At the same time I'm trying to be patient and remain calm about all this, but it's coming up on one whole month since the last time she's been active *anywhere* online and it's very worrisome behaviour. Hopefully I hear something from her soon, because her work is amazing and so is she, and I'd really hate to see something happen to her as she's a brilliant artist in many ways and deserves the best out of this fandom in my opinion.
 18. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/654319.html WHO: FlyingFire is her user name WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Traditional 2 character Sketch. WHEN: I commissioned her in August. 40.00 for down payment I gave her all the information she needed to get on a rough sketch. Due date was Dec. Granted I've been busy but I've checked on her every now and again but I think I got back to talking about it in Nov or early Dec I told her I was fine with delaying the due date to Jan. She was asking about the final 40.00 which I paid the final on Dec. 9th Update 07/10: please read below. PROOF: *Please Note for your convenience I did copy the notes into font. Please do know that often Flying fire would respond out of order, like I was working top down and her conversation was working bottom up, so kind like the universe expanding opposite directions. Just so you know, so I won't hurt everyone's eyes and brains. ~Thank you*
Any number of those make good ideas! (sorry it took me so long to reply btw! I was gone. :c ) My Paypal is ___ . Add me on Skype and we can chat vocally, and you can even watch the progress as it goes along! -Fire.

Okay, I'm game! ^.^ I remember you from Morphicon! You and your nice owly friend. You were both super nice and it was fun to see you. ^.^ Also, yes. It'd be eighty dollars. Incremental pay is just fine, just so you know. Do you have refs, and also, do you have skype? That way maybe we can talk as I draw things out for you and Arctic. Did you know I know Artic? I'm not sure what happened but we stopped talking a few years ago. Its been a long time, but it'd be great to do something nice for her. (and you too, of course) 🙂 What kind of theme would this be? Or would that be artistic freedom?
Well I want to commission an art piece 2 character of me and my best friend Artic. Now the Deadline would be December since I plan for it to be a birthday gift from me to her. I'm guessing it be around 80.00? I mean I know my character has a lot of details and hers she gets kind of picky. I do know she does have a variety of badges. I think your art would be one she would like. So I tend to like feral/quad, and her most recent reference is of a quad/feral Artic. If your interested in drawing please let me know. I can pay half now and then the other half when I get rough sketch/regular drawing approved. Since I know that be easiest way for me to pay since it is a lot of money and I don't want a birthday gift to be finished before I can approve of the drawing done. This is a piece I hope you have plenty of time to work on at your own pace. I'm hoping December is a far enough time away.

That be great, my user name for Skype not like caps matter. I sure do, have references. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/7782892/ I need to re do it since the tail is off. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5257642/ this is how the last band is suppose to be its wraps around to the bottom but it doesn't connect underneath. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6448079/ Like this explains the details best its just outdated as far as the tail and the fact everyone who goes by this gets the stripes wrong because its good way to map where the stripes are but people have put dots on my stripes and made them very much like connect the dots. But I plan on getting another reference done. I'm just been rather slow about it. ;_; because I'm a busy/lazy cat. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8431740/ Artics most recent info. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8229703/ this is colored something this hopefully will give you and idea of how to shade things. This is her old reference http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1372053/ Its colored too. I think that covers it. I will try to make myself available on Skype. As for ideas,
*SIDE NOTE: Just so you know I had spoke with her and said that reference I provided for the feral would be fine. As for the stripe issue I had a reference that did not work so well because the stripes were in the right position but they made the stripes look funny so I never got people to do my stripes like normal, right position but weird stripes. FlyingFire Aug 19

Well, that was unnecessary, and it would have taken you two extra seconds to send me an actual note instead of a page shout. However, despite your doubts, as quoted here: Give me my money back. You did not provide me my sketch days, weeks, over a month of saying your weak excuses. You stole money from me, by not providing the service you agreed to. heres your sketch. As I said before, its done and has been done for awhile. I had to deal with that thing called real life, taking my cat to the vet to make sure she didn't have cancer amongst them, so yeah, I was preoccupied. This is partially why I forgot to link you your art, but you should Never send a note to someone, or a shout, when your that irrational. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_75698d75af_z.jpg You can have this until I receive an apology for such rash words, whereupon I'll send you the full re-res image.
I'm not being irrational, you are horrifically late. Honestly I've given you over a week to get to me on this. You had not taken the extra 2 to 3 seconds to link me this information. I am not apologizing to you. I told you I'd like to have some pre-sketch for me to confirm at least progress and maybe throw in my 2 cents. Regardless of you circumstances you have been absolutely poor at communicating properly. Now I told you I need to have proof by last Sunday at least...I have not seen anything until I've given you this shout. When a time is set I expect something to be done, or at least a note back to say as to why there is a delay. Frankly I've been waiting on some proof that you've done anything, So it is not irrational for me to suspect you are not true to your words as we've had this discussion before. I've been dealing with a thing called life like everybody else. I have 2 jobs, and I work to pay off my condo/townhouse. I know a lot about due dates, with college and bills and if something comes up I try to work something out but you expect me to pay for sketch and then I don't see anything for like a month? I wonder who sounds like they are being irrational now? You know I have bad days but at least I communicate with my boss and those who need to know and let them know if something will be delayed.
I'm sure you understand that there's a lot of difference between being busy personally, and busy with business, and I was busy with both. I can understand your business just fine, but you need to know remember that there is a difference. Also, you paid the fourty as a half payment. Thats why I hadn't started. My policy is generally to get full payment and then begin. Irregardless to this roundabout we seem to be having, is this sketch to your liking, or is it not? Let me know when you have a minute to sit back and look at whats been done. Here is the large file. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_f79f42a2c7_k.jpg
*Side note: I was up late that night and had not slept so well this last week. Which that and also having someone say I'm being irrational started what some furries call "Tiny Tora Rage." Which may I say that all my anger is pretty legit, maybe a little fluffed...but I am the person to burn bridges if I find that it leads me to no where I want to be. She had mentioned her cat for the first time to me, I know I saw something posted in her journal 2 months prior, so granted I know people can have emotional issues...but I feel if that is the case it is the artist's obligation to mention that they will need some time out. I can't take in consideration for something I do not know of, all she had mentioned prior is she was busy. Which is what I had been hearing for some time. FlyingFire Feb 7th(2) Now for the Cherry on top the art I've been waiting for b/c after I yelled at her on her wall...I got this. Artic_Tora_flyingfire Also, the sprinkles on top would be that she and posted this on FA saying Artic and I are Mates. Which I do understand where someone might get that, but I had told her beforehand that we were best friends. We have matching icons, we are giving each other a head bump, not kisses. So even though some people think we are a couple, unfortunately that is not the case, we just joke about it profusely. In reality we both are pretty heterosexual, even though I'm bi-sexual, I do have a boyfriend. I Do Apologize for any confusion on this matter. I know I've not disclaimed my status of relationship to others. EXPLAIN: I may have not stayed on track with this artist through every step but honestly I think more artist prefer people not to get with them on daily basis. I did remind them in a journal prior which I think that is when they brought up the 40.00 final that was in Nov. I still feel if you did not provide any proof of art done you are stealing from the buyer. This person is on the same level of scam artist as far as I'm concerned. Updated Feb. 10th, 2013 Flying Fire got back to me shortly after the shout I mad on her FA account. Basically I was angry she had not provided and I had figured some public attention would get her attention and maybe create some results, which it did. I have provided proof of 95% of our conversations. I feel the other 5% is non-important as it doesn't really say much. I've not replied back to her as frankly I don't feel this art is really worth 80.00 but with her cat going to the vet. I really doubt I will get the 40 back.

The initial response was very swift, and payment was done the next day after going over some details, months passed and the promised updates and progress never came, I didn't mind at the time, I had waited long for commissions before and kept reminding myself that he was a popular artist, who likely had a very long queue, and decided to be patient, but by October, having no word of him, I decided to send the first email, to which I obtained no response, so I sent a follow up note on November, to which he replied he didn't receive the email or must have missed it and promised to show me progress on my picture the very next day, nothing came, finally, by December, I was both tired of this and in need of some money for a trip in January, so I asked for either a partial or full refund, no response, I forwarded the note again upon seeing him being active on FA on the 1st of January, no response, despite being active in FA further. Despite him being friendly through this, 100 dollars is no small amount of money, and it's been more than 9 months without seeing any indication that he has even STARTED, and I, quite frankle feel rather insulted at his negligence, since this is after all, a transaction. At this point, I don't want the picture anymore since I have seen how seriously he takes his commissions, I'm done being friendly, and wish my refund so I can get this over with. UPDATE: I have managed to get in contact with him on Skype, he's promised to refund me as soon as possible, aka, as soon as some payments to him come in, so far he's been reasonably helpful, but considering his track record for promising things, I'd rather not get my hopes up until the money is in my account. UPDATE: He has now refunded my money in full, I would like this matter to be considered resolved please. Proof: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23308137/paymentproof.png

She agreed to a badge trade and I asked her to draw my character Sysko (previously known as Rensis). I was really excited, so I did my half and posted it right away (seen here with timestamp). She said she liked it and then I began the wait. I sent a quick email in 2008 (seen here) and in 2009 (seen here). Neither were answered. Recently I saw she was on FA and taking commissions so I asked her if she could do my badge in between the sketches. She responded as if she had never agreed to the trade (seen here). Unfortunately I don't have the aim conversations anymore as they happened over 5 years ago, so all I have is the screencaps and my word. I didn't think there was anywhere else to go with this but here, since it looks like a lost cause. 😕 Update 02/07/13 After making this post, Roux responded to my comment linking her half (here). This would have resolved the whole thing, if not for this description (here), which a day or two later became this description (here). The entire rant is misguided, reading more like her playing the victim than it does justice to her aim of being diplomatic. She never expressed these feelings to me, she just stopped talking to me altogether. I feel like she had plenty o opportunity o work this out with me, instead of ignoring my attempts at contact. I am a lot of things, but unsympathetic is not one of them. If she had maturely explained the way she felt in private, I would have certainl apologized ecause I never meant to make her feel that way Despite the rant, I wanted to leave a 'thank you' but I found I was blocked (here). I'm disappointed that instead of emailing me her half and explaining how she felt, the ordeal ended like this.
 21. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/648340.html First of all, I must say that I do not have a lot of pictures to prove our conversations, Due to Hinauchi deleting me from her skype, making me unable to get the conversations back. First proof. Here is the WORK IN PROGRESS she has posted on furaffinity of my fursuit. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6443683/ Do note it was posted (as of this time) A year ago. (September 5th, 2011) About 5 months after I had purchased my suit. Proof link of A recent message we had on facebook as of November 24, 2012 1. http://imgur.com/6MxxI 2. http://imgur.com/Jjsli and 3. http://imgur.com/tfMSN The proof that she no longer is on my skype contacts http://imgur.com/6WQ8h Recent proof she is now raising a ton money to see her "bby" for her leisure http://imgur.com/SJKk5 ++ My comment that got marked as spam, ( It was me informing to the public that she is raising money for yet another thing, even though she still has not shipped what i ordered) http://imgur.com/bPjOU Then, her proceeding to tell someone that "I should have noted her" Even though she never contacts me http://imgur.com/vTc27 Explination. I made my fursuit purchase from Hinauchi In early April 2011. I did not order the fursuit to be here on a specific date, although i had figured it wouldn't take too long, considering i've seen her make fursuits often, she even set up a fusuit website of her own here http://speckledbluenose.weebly.com/ so I assumed she was somewhat proffessional about it. I payed around $445 for a fursuit head, tail, and paws of my old character Rayne via paypal. Basically, I have asked her about how she was doing on it since the purchase via skype, but i no longer can reach the conversations due to her unadding me. I do remember her taking forever to even show me pictures of my commission, giving me dates on when the fursuit should ship to me, and then my fursuit of course never getting to me. Apparently, as she has told me, her mother stole my shipping money. Which is of course theft, and is illegal. I asked for her mothers number, and she refused to give it to me. She has made countless excuses since 2011 such as; Her mother wont take her to the store for supplies Her mother stole the money Her camera was broken She was busy She was going through a hard time She was at her dads She was moving It has been almost 2 years now since i have purchased it, and all she does is give me excuses and sad stories and explanations on why she couldn't ship it to me. Then informing me that it should get to me soon, when it never does. I don't understand why she can finish other people's commissions, such as drawings, and never have any time to go to a post office to ship a package. She claims that it is "buried under a mountain of shit in her closet" and she plans to "dig it out and get it shipped" Which she has been saying for months of course. I posted a comment on the journal talking about raising money to see her lover to inform people that she isn't responsible enough to get purchases to people. She is lazy, irresponsible, and immature. I did not wish to post something like this, although it has bothered me for far too long and people should have a right to know, considering she opens auctions, commissions, and other things where she must send commissions out. It's a very confusing position to be in.

I have commissioned hundreds of artwork and so I know that these things take time. So I did not think anything of it for the first couple of months. By the fifth month I started to get nervous so I noted him and asked him if he had any updates for me. Another month went by and I got really nervous. This was six months at this point. That to me is a completely unacceptable wait time with no correspondence from their side. So I noted him (December 19th, 2012) and that note (to this day) is unread. http://sta.sh/01cdlkl8n2pd I then sent a personal email to the artist on January 2nd asking them if they had any updates for me and I even included our correspondence via DA. I told them that I was very uncomfortable with the situation as he had not replied to me and he was not uploading anything new on DA. I then asked for a refund. (This email to this day is not replied to) http://sta.sh/026ybvl2jei6 I again noted them on DeviantART on January 7th, 2013 telling him that this was my third time at attempting to get in touch with him. I directly asked for a refund. (This note is till showing unread) http://sta.sh/0143o1socsjl At this point I was growing very annoyed because his profile status on DA was showing that he was LOGGING into DeviantART yet not replying or even reading my notes. So I took the conversation to his front profile. I left a comment stating that I had attempted to contact him via Note and Email and had yet to receive a response. I asked for a refund. (This comment is not responded to) http://sta.sh/01teukbebxq0 On January 14th, 2013 I took this to Paypal and sent him a money request. In the request I stated that I wanted my refund for my commission and that I have been trying to contact him regarding this manner. I had hoped this would grab his attention. http://sta.sh/0ud93ie3czd As of yesterday (1/29/2013) I put a comment inside of his DA journal stating that I was very unhappy with his communication and that it was completely unprofessional on how he was handling these matters when I can clearly see that he is on DA. I told him to give me an update on my artwork or send me a refund or I would call him out stating that he was an art thief. And I would inform his latter commissioners to not pay him as they would never get their art. http://sta.sh/019qp81cas5c Today (1/30/2013) I sent him an email letting him know that I have made a complaint with Paypal for his actions, and if he got enough complaints Paypal would limit his account. http://sta.sh/01156ktki2g5 I hope that he will at least give us the artwork he promised to me and all the others that are on his list or at least send us our money back! Today (11/12/2013) I was notified by another deviant that he was online 3 days ago (11/09/2013) He has not read any of my notes, nor replied to any of my emails. This artist is a fraud! He has stolen my money and has no intentions of finishing his work that people have paid for! He has not updated his account, nor has he posted any new artwork! He's a scam! Do not order art from him! Today (11/22/2013) I have logged onto DeviantART only to find that he has deactivated his account! This artist is clearly a fraud and I have emailed him and send paypal money requests and he still has not replied to anything! Be cautious if you see anyone with his familiar artwork posting anywhere! He's a fake! And a money thief!

Maybe when they saw I had unfollowed them they went about unwatching me everywhere, I cannot sa Anyways, I can't tell if in their response to my note on tumblr they are genuinely confused or not. Again, they had opened my first note before this so I think they are trying to cover themselves. They also proceeded to make THREE very passive-aggressive posts about me on their tumblr: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post1.png https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post2.png https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post3.png Which were deleted by the next day. Now I was willing to let them go, again all I wanted was a simple reason, maybe even an apology. But this is just childish and rude. In my next note I tried to clear things up and explain what A_B was https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B%20Post/Final%20Note.png And then they sent me a second response that seems more genuine. I will excuse anyone who is having medical problems of course, a person's health must come first. However, I think that in all this time they could have at least contacted me and informed me that they were unable to finish their half. It is not my responsibility to keep tabs on another person's personal life. Not to mention they have been making plenty of personal art. That is why I waited to contact them until now, I figured one day I'd log in and it would be in my inbox. I don't think they ever got around to doing any of the art they owed though, and after awhile I realized that it wasn't going to happen and that's how all of this came about. I don't really want anything from them now, it's too little too late. But this will serve as a warning in case they ever do decide to open for trades or commissions again. Update 1: Deerknight contacted me last night, they sent me two messages: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Screencap Deerknight.png I sent them this in response (I answered privately so I was unable to screenshot it, though I also sent the message to a mod): All I wanted was for you to take the initiative to contact me and tell me whether you would do it or not. I should not have had to track you down, and I didn't deserve the response you gave me when I finally did find you. But you were rude, and you were sneaky, and I think you were just hoping I'd forget about it. I really would have let this go if you hadn't thrown a tantrum on your tumblr, but it's too late now. I can't remove the post from A_B because it's against the rules, but if you do your half I can get it marked as resolved. I like your style a lot, I enjoy your art, and I was really looking forward to getting a piece from you! But if not, let's just go our separate ways. Update 2: Deerknight sent me a followup message: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/deerknightscreen2.png I sent them a link to my Character Hub which has several references and the following message: (Again, I answered privately so I was unable to screenshot it) And listen, I'm sorry that this escalated the way it did. I will mark it resolved when you send me the piece, and if you post it to tumblr I'll be sure to recommend to all of my followers that they go take a look at your art. You are really very talented! I look forward to seeing what you come up with~ Update 3: Deerknight has sent me their piece in a VERY timely manner and it's lovely http://deerknight.tumblr.com/post/42403878669/my-part-of-the-art-trade-with-dealgen-im-sorry Consider this resolved!

We knew it was an ambitious target, so it wasn't disappointing when it wasn't done yet. Shortly after Rainfurrest 2011, there was some personal drama between myself and my ex best friend, which Fenrir's Child had inadvertently became involved with in other ways. Unknown to me at the time, this caused her to lose motivation to work on my fursuit. Several deadlines were set and missed. The first deadline after the drama was for January 2012, where I would pick up the fursuit for the When Furballs Strike 8 bowling meet in Kenmore, WA. When my wife and I went, the fursuit was not yet completed. The head was finished on the outside, but unwearable due to incomplete interior work. Because of the delays, Fen had offered free upgrades to make up for the extended wait. I gladly accepted. Unfortunately, upgrades aren't any good unless you actually get the fursuit. The next date was set for another When Furballs Strike meet in late May 2012. Again, the fursuit was not complete, with several months going by with absolutely no work done. The next completion date was set for Halloween 2012. Needless to say, it wasn't finished either. In November Fen had opened up for more commissions, and one of my closest friends had posted on her journal asking about my fursuit: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/SirFratley/Journalcomment.png Shortly after, Fen had finally come forward with why she had not been working on my fursuit this whole time, and offered a partial refund, which I politely declined because of financial troubles on her end: http://pastebin.com/k2PACa6X We decided to push for December completion. In early December, it was discovered that my head was missing, believed stolen. We discussed various options, including her remaking a head if I don't dock her in reviews or I pay $300, I get the remainder of the suit plus a partial refund, or, least desireable, a full refund. However, she backed out of any agreements and said she will be refunding me, without any say in the matter, in 45 days from the date of the police report for the claimed theft. Here is the full chatlog from that conversation: http://pastebin.com/q1UbWVix On the day the refund was due, she paid at 10 PM, without answering my emails or IMs asking what's going on, since it was getting late in the day and I still hadn't received my refund. Thankfully I did eventually find the refund in my paypal account, and our transaction is closed. Throughout this entire ordeal, I have been as patient as humanly possible, when all my friends were saying I should be making a fuss and have posted her on A_B a long time ago. Before the head was stolen, even Fen agrees I've been extremely patient: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/SirFratley/FensaysImpatient.png This entire commission has been nothing but constant waiting and repeated disappointment. There were many times I had felt absolutely trapped. I wanted to speak up and say she was taking too long, but if I did, I feared she would rush and push out a sub-par product, or give up and refund me without even trying to finish it. When she backed out of our agreement to let me have the rest of the fursuit minus the head, the gloves came off. While Fen's quality of work is extremely good, she simply lacks professionalism, basic business ethics, and the ability to complete large projects on time, allowing personal drama to interfere with her commissions. For small items such as tails, she would be a great builder to consider, but for anything more, I say Buyer Beware. Edit: Updated the proof to include initial email and Fen's old TOS. Also fixed a typo that had been driving me nuts. Edit 2: Added the FA notes between Synwolf and Fen, kindly provided by Synwolf.
