About Me

 1. May 5, 2014 https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/763782.html It was rejected first cause it was too early, but since she blocked me after trying to solve it, I think it's fair to post it now. WHO: Skippy-Adopts http://skippy-adopts.deviantart.com/ WHERE: Skippy-Adopts on DeviantART not sure about other accounts. WHAT: An adoptable I bought, then was taken back forcefully without notifying me at all. WHEN: May 11th 2013 PROOF: On May 11th-12th I saw a cute adoptable (screenshots in case of deleted.) on DeviantArt and decided to autobuy it. The paid for transaction for points was too far back in my transactions however it still shows it in her donation pool on her page. EXPLAIN: On May 12th I autobought an adoptable from Skippy-Adopts as stated above. Today I posted I'm re-homing my characters because they no longer get the love they used to get. So I wanted them to have better attention and posted a journal that they're for sale/trade for other stuff. I've had this character since a while so it comes with a bunch of art but even so after a while it didn't get the attention it used to get anymore. So couple days ago I got notified that Skippy re-sold the design I bought from her without my permission or notifying me at all. (screenshot because she removed it) So basically it was stolen from me as well as all the art, did a few tiny changes to the design and that's it. I left a comment on it that it was harsh and just unfair to claim it back, because I care for characters and getting their deserved love. But this is just rude and I felt betrayed. I notified the person who bought that re-sold design that they will have to deal with a twin one. They said they're fine with that, I told them I'm not sure if I ever find a new owner for her if the new owner would be alright with that. I didn't mind on my part but the art would not be related to it. I commented that it wasn't fair on the re-sold submission, days later Philo commented she wanted her points back when I told her the situation whereby I commented again "the only way to solve it was to refund her the points and delete the re-sold adoptable." Apparently she went for the way so I couldn't reply to her by blocking me after removing. Now that I'm re-posting this as of today, she deleted the image and has blocked me so I couldn't contact back at all. I wish she handled this maturely and apologized for stealing back the character, but instead she took the attitude way out to block me. Please beware of this person if you adopt(ed) something, who knows who will be next with getting their character stolen back without knowing, just because you want to give it a better home.
 2. What: 370$ worth of commissions. (A six Telegram sticker pack, and a two-character, three paneled comic. Harassment and threats of taking back a custom character I had already paid for and had several pieces pending because I "broke species rules." Now (2022), she has repossessed the character after it has already been sold to someone else. Initial Backstory: I joined Adiago's Discord server sometime late December 2018 after my (now) ex and I had secured a spot on her waiting list for a "coupled" pair of Abyss drakes (her closed species), a white female and a black/grey male to be our fursonas. (Named Eclipse and Orion) 01/14/2019 - 01/24/2019 Adiago gave me her Google Doc's form to fill out and I gave the other one to my ex to fill out for his. She approved our forms and I paid for two "mack daddy" tiered references (200$ each), then a few days later I asked if I could pay extra to get the next tier of references (called "Ultra) for both references as I wanted everything to be perfect and to her standard. I also wanted couples icons which was something we had discussed in her server that was tacked on to the additional amount. Due to conflicting differences between myself, my ex and Adiago a 1-2 month turn around became six months and Eclipse was officially finished in June. Proof of transactions: Google document explaining species guidelines: Eclipse's original upload: 08/01/2019 Adiago had told me needed funds really badly to fly out her boyfriend at the time, so I asked how much the ticket was and off so offered to buy a commission from her so she could buy him a ticket. I asked her for a comic like the one she did for one of ours friends and she agreed. The sketch she gave me from the above screenshot: Over voice she told me she still didn't have enough so I commissioned her for a set of six Telegram stickers and sent payment (see the screen-cap above for payment, cap below for sticker prompts) 08/20/2019 Adiago decided she was going to do my stickers (we were in a voice call), she asked me to remind her of what they were of. (Since she couldn't remember where the details were posted as we talked over several different platforms.) I pinned the message of the sticker details in Discord and she started to get upset that she was reminded that the stickers were of Orion (Her and my ex had had a falling out during this time, and he had left the server) and started shutting down on me and making it very obvious she wanted me to offer to have them changed, she accused my ex (the owner of Orion) and I of trying to copy another pre-existing drake out of anger, and eventually quit responding to me. 09/02/2019 We later had a discussion about changing the character for the stickers, and she agreed to accept Eclipse for the stickers but things were uneasy between us after that. 09/14/2019 - 09/162019 Around this time, the mutual friend of Adiago and I had grown close, and I was hanging out less in Adiago’s servers since I was growing increasingly uncomfortable with her opinions on certain subjects. Adiago did not like this and started dangling my artwork over my head if I didn't come and join in calls, and eventually flat out said she wouldn't do my artwork. Being fed up with Adiago's behavior, I sent her a goodbye message and left her servers. She blocked me and I found out that Adiago had no plans to honor my commissions due to my leaving; overwhelmed I opened a dispute on Paypal. She immediately went off in her server and was telling people she'd destroy me if the charge backs went through and wrote a journal about it on Furaffinity, accusing me of falsely charging her back and saying that she would write a Beware on me. Adiago ended up unblocking my ex who handled things for me as I was too upset. She told him that if the claims were not closed, she had a senior account and would have my account frozen for fraud. My ex was concerned for my mental health and logged onto my Paypal account and closed the claims and took Adi on her word that she would do the artwork. Third-party contact. I'm sorry about the fuzzy dates of the last two screenshots, as I did not take these screenshots and have no way of retrieving them with the exact date. I also do not have the notes between my ex-partner and her as he closed the conversations and didn't know how to reopen them at the time, and currently we're not in contact anymore. My ex had asked me if I wanted to change what one of the stickers were supposed to be since one was supposed to be of Eclipse with the friend I had a falling out with so I told him what I wanted it changed to. (The error image was a screen cap of what I had listed for the stickers originally.) 09/21/2019 I have not had any contact with her directly since we mutually blocked each other. My ex did for a day or two and she later blocked him. Only "updating" us through her Trello where she had made an entirely new section called "low priority" and said she would be decreasing the quality of the artwork as a "hassle fee" Low priority screenshot: Comic Trello card: Stickers Trello card: 09/28/2019 She wrote a journal stating that there was now an update in her TOS to where there where even stricter rules on her species. She also had marked Orion, Eclipse and my warhound as non-canon due to "colours not being right." among other things. I went through a lot of fighting for her to be made and still be considered canon (as originally I wanted the art of my character in her world alongside her sona's ship crew.) so this was very hurtful to me. Journal: Old reference of Adiago’s TOS from time of initial purchase: When I had filled out my form for Eclipse the only two links to any form of TOS was a link to the species Google form listed under the transaction screenshot and this tiny little checkbox of rules at the bottom. She had no other TOS listed on her pages. 11/07/2019 I commissioned a new reference sheet of Eclipse with how I originally envisioned her. I changed her to have paler colouration, additional scars, and made her hair no longer wavy. Adiago, within a few hours of the reference being upload, noted my ex to tell him that she would be repossessing my character since I broke her "species TOS" (which never said I couldn't change my character), and stated she'd "refund what was owed minus labour fees" which completely astounded me. Note: She also wrote a journal saying that she is perfectly okay with doing changes if people just come and talk to her but from how aggressive she has been in the past and how she treated me during the development of my drake, I know this is false. Journal: My ex and I weren't sure what to do but at the time I knew I wanted to stand my ground as my drake alone had over 1k spent on her at the time. I didn't think she was going to refund me because I knew she didn't have the money to do so and I loved my character at the time so I was not willing to give her up. Adiago ended up getting banned from Furaffinity for her threats, harassment and openly trying to sell a drake she stole from her ex so I had hoped that was the end of it. 01/30/2020 Adiago was streaming and she was erasing the identifying features of Eclipse and Orion off the sketch of the comic she owed me. She admitted she wasn't going to do my artwork and instead was going to reuse the pose for her own characters and has since used one of the base drawings from the panels in one of her comics. Admitting in stream as well as name calling: 01/31/2020 She had taken the icons I bought from her back in January of 2019 when commissioning Orion and Eclipse, and she went over them as her own characters. Boasting about how they were "much improved." The icons were not on a base and were meant to be original. Sometime in late August and then on the 28th 2020. I had been dealing with her harassment for years at this point and after an incident that I handled (extremely) poorly resulted in me getting a beware on myself over Eclipse (Which I still feel extremely bad about despite the beware having been solved and I'd apologized so many times to the artist.) I had enough and decided to make a new character and sell Eclipse. I had listed a journal publicly and had someone message me on Furaffinity and we took it over to notes. They knew of the drama behind the character and wanted to buy her privately despite knowing this. Eclipse was worth over 2k at this point and the person was aware I was having her reference sheet made by the artist listed above into a new character and we settled on a sum of 800$ for both canon and the "non-canon" version of Eclipse. Discord message: Their screenshot of them sending me payment: and I had a journal that was pinned to my profile that was a list of where certain characters where re-homed to that mentioned Eclipse had been sold privately. It's been two years and I still haven't received a single cent of what I was owed nor the artwork. She completely removed my comic from her Trello and I have not seen any progress on the stickers either. She has continued harassing me online for years, which can be seen on any of the accounts I listed above, even after I sold my abyss drake. I however, decided to finally post this Beware because recently she has stolen Eclipse back on Deviant art. She has posted that she "repossessed her" back in 2019 (which is a lie) because I had "wrongfully charged back several artist" and that if I'm seen using her anywhere, that I stole her and had no rights to her. Her post: As shown above she has no rights to do as she never gave me a cent back towards Eclipse, and even if she did, she was sold off to another user. I don't expect to see hide nor hair of any of my money but I couldn't let her get away with stealing a character "from me" when it was publicly declared I no longer had her.
 3. Greetings! I'm here to inform you about this client and the ordeal that I had to endure since the last week. Honestly, it all started pretty good actually. The 4th of April I got contacted by this person saying that he had the idea of commissioning me a couple of OC's of its own (since he kept saying that he was a writer and that he wrote stories, fan fictions and so on) and I was like "Sure, tell me the details!". And everything went pretty smooth, he always payed me what I asked for and never complained. However, the big problems started to happened the 8th of July, Friday of last week. After waking up, I find three emails from PayPal, in which all of them says that the buyer has opened a claim against me because of unauthorized transactions made. Honestly speaking, I was baffled. Like, why in the first place? Also who was the one responsible for all of this? After tracking down who could've possibly be, I ended up finding the curlprit. Then I decided to confront him, ask him why he did such a thing, but to no avail. What he kept saying over and over like a broken record, was like "I didn't do it. My bank did it" or instead "PayPal did it, it wasn't my fault". Now, I might not be an expert on how PayPal works and neither how the Banks do, but I'm pretty sure that neither of the two without an explicit request from the one who sent the money, does everything automatically. PayPal definitely doesn't do it, and the Bank the least they can do is calling you if they see high transactions, but in here we were talking about 50/100€ at best. Every month. Then, afterwards, he contacted me saying the following After this, he blocked me. If the truth is on his side, then he wouldn't have blocked me, right? So honestly, I really don't get it. Afterwards I tried to reach him even on DeviantArt, since there I was still not blocked from him because I actually talked with the PayPal customer service myself. In the end they told me what I already knew: and that it was him who did everything on his end. And so far, he kept lying to my face. The sad part is that I'm not the only one who got this "little problem" with him. Many other artists had the same ordeal with him. I'll share afterwards the claims that he did (choosing even the wrong dates because he surely did everything so fast, in a blink of an eye, that he didn't even sat through everything and thought if the amount and date were exactly those - apologies in advance if you see another language) (For context, "Denaro ricevuto" translated is "Money Received") And the fact that the dates doesn't even match to begin with (aside from the first one, which the only wrong thing is the amount that he declared. He gave me 50€, but instead he wanted 56€ back, for some reason) (again, all three of them shows the "Money Received" word, translated from Italian) I'll also share some snippets of our conversation where, after I completed the render, I uploaded it and sent it to him. And he of course, received it. See it for yourself, all three of the claims. First one Second: (this one here was mostly a variation of the third one that I'll share in a bit) Third one: Proof of being blocked To this day, so far the problem hasn't been solved (and also currently, the claims got processed and now I'm wait for PayPal to actually talk with the bank of the client. Sadly, it will take approximatively 75 days to get an answer) and when it will, I'm afraid that this person will try again in getting his money back. I made assumptions as to why he did this, but really, I can't even believe it. Like I said, also another artist right now is undergoing the same treatment as I'm experiencing. Thank you for your attention.
 4. Undelivered commissions x3 from between February and April 2020. See imagery for proof. - Conversations between Feb and April 2020 is us arranging the commissions and their themes. Don’t mind the NSFW text, it was all NSFW art. The screencap of Dev confirming his PayPal name (as well as the .me link) is simply to verify the PayP screengrab later on. - April onwards, Dev never directly made contact with me (until the next dash below). Every month or so I’d message to see how he was doing, and nothing was being done. However, others commissions were being prioritised over mine, so he was not inactive. - 02/10/21, Dev wished to refund the total for the various commissions. Below is that conversation. - Contact after this has been spotty, and no money or drawings have been done since. His Twitter is also radio silent (in terms of art) since January 2022. Feels like he took the money and ran. All conversations between us remain on my Discord. If further information is required, message me.
 5. The artist messaged me on Twitter after I made a post looking for paws and a tail to commission. I explained to the artist it was going to be a complicated build but they didn't seem concerned. We talked about details and agreed to a price. They said they could get started right away. I asked for a TOS and photos of previous work. They sent a TOS vis Google docs and pictures of other suits. They asked I send payment via PayPal friends and family (i didnt know the difference and thought i was helping as it reduced fees). As I am new to this I didn't know the signs of what to look for so I sent over payment. The next day I decided I also wanted feet paws. So we discussed that as well. So I sent over a second payment for them. I am now in the hole $1020. They do not have a website, a trello, or any other legitimate business profile, they are using a stolen profile picture and the pictures of the suits they have sent were bogus and not their creations. They have changed their Twitter handle from HD suitz to rldhh. They have since stopped communicating. BEWARE.
 6. In April 2021, KidRhinoBoy opened for commissions. A friend of mine and I decided we would get a commission from him. I messaged him on Twitter (seen below) about availability and pricing. We exchanged a few messages regarding prices and what exactly my friend and I would get. We chose to get a single, colored picture from him. Each of us paid $80 to KidRhinoBoy. (I do not have a receipt for my friend but I do have mine). Initially it was going to be a three person picture, but the third person dropped out due to financial reasons. Figures 1-14 PayPal Receipt on my end shown in Figure 15 In late October 2021 I messaged KidRhinoBoy again, discussing a change to the drawing. I thought this would be alright since he hadn't started the drawing yet. Figures 16-17 It should be noted that at this point, KidRhinoBoy had opened and accepted a new round of comissions in late December 2021 / early January 2022. At this point I was starting to think that perhaps my commission had been forgotten about, hence my message about two weeks after he closed. Around this time I also told a friend what was going on. This friend had KidRhinoBoy's Telegram information and relayed what I had said to him. KidRhinoBoy then reached out to me on January 14th. He told me at this time that the sketch would be started some time in the next week or two (Last two weeks of January 2022) Figures 18-20 I would also occasionally reach out to him about his art, not looking for any updates, but just because I thought what he was putting out looked good. In April he messaged me again asking about my commission. He said he would sketch it soon. (It was not made clear to me what soon meant in this case, however) Figures 21-22 In June I reached out again asking to see if there was any update from his end. This time he said he would get me a sketch the next day. Three days after he asks me about the idea again. (To be clear, I did not delete or make invisible any of my messages in Telegram, so I was a little confused why he was asking again) Figure 23 I sent him a reply a little over 4 hours later, but at the time of writing it does not appear that he has read my messages. Figures 24-25 In hindsight it probably wasn't a great idea to change the art idea when I did. I know he also runs his own restaurant/cafe and suits a lot where he lives, so he's certainly busy. I understand that no one can do all things all at once. I'm not sure what to think about the various times I was promised a sketch, perhaps he's tried and wasn't happy with the results, but I genuinely don't know. 7. Disclaimer: White boxes with black outlines have been edited in to protect irl information of artist and commissioner, as well as information deemed not relevant to the Beware. With regards to the transaction, the NSFW piece discussed was indeed completed and fulfilled. This Beware will be with regards to the three character piece. Outline: - Original agreement + Proof I have chosen to provide only this snippet from the Discord conversation and nothing after, as anything past this point is unrelated to the commission in question. - Proof of payment Note: as a commissioner, I understand that including "NSFW" in Paypal notes is not warranted for either party. The invoice shown below was created by the artist and they included that information. - Any relevant correspondence. The NSFW piece that was completed is as shown below with a Spoiler for NSFW content: Upon completion of this piece, there was only one correspondence with regards to updating the concept of the piece per request of the artist, but there was never any proof of work having been completed. Sometime after that, the artist contacted me with the following: One thing I will mention is that when I tried to respond to them, I had been blacklisted on FA as shown: Their TOS on their Carrd at sizdizzle.carrd.co/#tos, there is no mention of them having a right to cancel a commission not started and keeping the funds. Sometime later, I went to Telegram and discovered our previous chat history there had been deleted, and they sent the following, to which I responded and currently awaiting a response: In summary, nowhere in their TOS does it state they will keep funds on work that is not completed. All I'm looking for now is a refund of the work that has not been completed, that's it. If they need time to pay it back in installments, I'm fine with that.
 8. In April I was asked to create artwork of two marvel characters dancing at prom, for $40, originally it was going to be $45 dollars but because I had known them from a previous server for months I trusted him enough to give him a discount. I hadn't done many commissions so because I wasn't very busy I finished it in about 4 days. This guy had pinged the second server we were on together every day asking how their day was and what they were doing, because it had few people in it, it was okay. Knowing he answered and dmed me frequently made me trust him to answer back in our dms. He was on Discord almost everyday so it was unlikely for him to not answer. When I told him I finished the commission he said that he was used to artists taking months to finish so he didn't have the money ready. I understood, and waited 4 more days while continuing to edit and revise the commission. Two more weeks pass, and he still cannot pay for the commission. I still understood that bills needed to be paid and continued to wait. After nearly a month and a half after I finished the commission, I still hadn't been paid. I asked him for a security deposit and he said he's been broke for the past two weeks. I was starting to get really frustrated. If he couldn't pay for the commission, I told him he could always back out and I'd delete the artwork. You need to understand that we had been talking for a while and even though I did not know him in real life, I trusted him to eventually pay it. He kept making excuses and saying he's broke until the next paycheck. It had been many, many weeks at that point where he must've been paid from a paycheck. Still, I kept trying to take the professional route and waited more. It's July 19th, almost 3 months since we last had contact. He has ghosted me entirely, I've pinged him in other servers, asked his friends if there was a family emergency and still no reply. I needed the money because of my chronic illness, I'm in pain every single day and he knew that, yet consisted to ghost me. This is my last resort. I hope nobody ever has to go through this with this guy ever again. I can't even say this is the worst experience I've had this month, because of how many times I've been in the hospital. Beware jdmarsh. P.S. Going through these messages to get screenshots make this even worse because I'm now seeing that he did say he was going to pay half at the start and pay the rest upon completion and then PLAYED DUMB AFTER I ASKED HIM TO FOLLOW THROUGH. Also the flag behind my avatar used to be the lesbian flag then currently is the queer flag.
 9. Hello, With a good amount of disappointment I am writing up my experience with rapgod/Mirthfulmaws/miraclekind/culledcrows. I commissioned Mirth for 6 character stills for my youtube channel in December 2021, and received them in about a month. I was very impressed and loved the art so I commissioned them again on February 4th, 2022. I ordered 5 more, with a total of $75. Since then, I have received one of the stills, and that was sent to me on March 2nd, 2022. I have not received an update since then. I messaged a check in every 1-2 months, and received a response that I would get an update soon. They gave me their commission specific discord account and I messaged them on May 25th. I never received a response there or on their main account since April 22nd, 2022. It extra sucks because I've been putting off videos until this set was complete 😕 Also, their trello hasn’t been updated since May 3rd, 2022. And they have been taking new commissions and ychs on furaffinity. I will try and file a chargeback, but I unfortunately sent it with paypal’s friends & family because it wasn’t the first time commissioning this artist. I have contacted the staff team on the Furry Nexus Discord server and they are handling it on their side as far as I'm aware. I figured I'd make this post, Mirth's list is medium length and I don't want others to go through this.
 10. Original commission was supposed to be a $150 character creation and ref sheet. Because I’m nice (read; a sucker) I agreed to drop the price to $100 for them. They agreed to this and paid. They told me to take my time and not rush I followed up with a fullbody sketch 8 days later, and received no response. I then received a PayPal chargeback for the full amount on May 15th. this is their Duff the Bunny ref sheet to connect their account since they changed their Twitter handle and locked their account entirely after they pushed the chargeback. super annoying cause if they had just asked I would have refunded them like $85 of the $100 (because I had provided a sketch already) but they went ahead and did a chargeback and because I tried to dispute it (again, like an idiot) I was then out $115 instead of the $100. Because apparently PayPal doesn’t care to vet any of their chargebacks at all. I provided full proof to them too. anyway, just don’t do business with that guy or his rabbit character. Full reference to avoid him in the future.
 11. Back on October 13th, Fen made a post for a YCH I was interested in, and messaged them to buy the spot on the same day. Here's proof that the payment was made on Paypal And proof that the original piece was claimed - as well as its $65 price I even gave them information that would've helped them draw the character as best as they could. I hadn't heard anything after that point, not even confirmation as to whether they had received anything (money or the images themselves). Fen also had a "commission updates" twitter account, FennecFiles, so I messaged that account at the beginning of December hoping to receive answers. I made special note toward the end that I was open to amending the scope of the commission, such as simplifying the character or narrowing how much of the scene to draw, since I know artists can have a lot on their plates. Unfortunately, still no message from either account. Now, December was a hectic month for them. They had a medical emergency with one their pet cats they had to take care of, but they were also dealing with taking care of their own art as well as art related to their partner's Twitch streams. (Mainly stream assets, such as themed backgrounds or vtuber rigs, such as when they were playing South Park [SP] and Paper Mario [PM]) Granted, their partner could've held back from asking for stream assets - which would explain why Fen was trying to recoup sunk time by offering rigs in a SP/PM style since the basics were done - but this shows Fen was at least aware they had paid commissions still to finish, but either had other priorities or more important commissions to take care of first. I sent another message to SuperNinfendo in January, but this time it was because I'd commissioned a headshot from another artist and felt that it would've been a simplification [as in based off of this image instead of combining bits of A and B], but sent a followup message a week later since I wasn't sure if my tone came off rude. Unfortunately, I still did not receive any direct messages. Despite this, while it could very well be just venting in general, the timing of this tweet felt like it was vaguely pointed at my request since it was just a few days after my later reply of those two. I was not mad at the lack of them posting art at all - I know they'd posted art and other things, and do not always join their partner's streams - it's that I haven't been communicated to about my [I assume impending] commission, but they'd posted art that had been both taken AND finished after claiming my spot. Here's a separate YCH that was posted in December: And while it may not have taken a month to complete, a post from a month later clearly shows that they are able to finish in a timely manner (bottom left): At the end of January, there was finally a "response" from FennecFiles, though in the form of an apology post explaining their delay Having a person help with your blog is not a problem, but I would've called out the person previously in charge if they were responsible for dismantling the queue, though I don't know how close that person was/is to Fen (nor if the claim was real, admittedly.) Since they mentioned at the end that FennecFiles could be messaged with "further questions or concerns", I messaged them a little over a week later since I didn't want to be lost in the shuffle of the first days of potential inquiries. I received no response from them either - whether from CorpseKiit or Fen - and as is shown from my prior FF message, the reference/commission reminder message was not even replied to in the meantime. Since CorpseKiit was also someone to message (I'm in a mutual Discord server with them and Fen), so I messaged Chuck [Corpsekiit's nickname] directly. (At the beginning of April, since they had their own life struggles through March. I received no direct messaging from them on the matter, and no followups on any of the other blogs Fen runs as to if it was the right spot to message, yet one of Fen's tweets from a few days afterwards makes me believe they were at least made aware of my message to Chuck. Again, it could be just general venting, but my issue was not with their pace of posting art in and of itself. It's that being left in the dark for months on end as to WHEN it could/would be worked on is an entirely different feeling from if I was told "I won't be able to work on this until next October", at least in the latter case, I'd have a timeline as to when to expect the piece. I was reminded of the issue from a mutual in another server who brought up their plights, so that's part of why I am writing this. I figured I'd message one last time - albeit recently - directly to Fen on Discord. I know it's a simple message, and while I hope to hear back at some point, I have my doubts as to whether any remedies would happen - the art itself or otherwise. Even nearly two weeks out, still no reply on Discord either. While I understand that life may be handing them difficult cards, and they may be handling them well enough all considered, it shouldn't excuse them effectively ghosting me for so long. I gave them so much room to amend the YCH and request, but to have legitimate questions ignored so long has left a sour taste in my mind. It should go without saying that I would not recommend SuperNinfendo if you are looking for commissions.
 12. Original agreement - They deleted their account so you can only see my replies, but it was for a NSFW colored sketch for $70 EVERYTHING/ANYTHING NSFW is censored! (This all happened in 2021) Me asking them how much a colored sketch would be & adding a sketch to explain what I wanted. Agreement was $70 & my messages confirm payment was sent. They sent a few sketches super fast & I ask to add one to the commission. Conversation ended Feb 11th. I message them again March 15th . March 24th they told me they had covid so i tell them to recover, as it hadn't been that long anyways. April 21st I message them again, no response. April 28th I tell them i would rather they just send me the sketches they have & take the loss. Still no response. Paypal statement showing $70USD was sent to chernobee Feb 10th, 2021 After them not replying to me on Twitter on May 1st 2021 I messaged them on Toyhouse, where they did respond so the conversation moved here. (This all happened in 2021) May 1st I message them telling them I would appreciate a reply within a week & state that I feel an A_B post would be necessary for the lack of communication. They reply 12th May they were super nice & understanding of my frustration w/ the lack of communication. They ask to speak on Discord but also offer to send the sketches. May 19th I apologize to them as I felt I just hadn't given them enough time & was being too aggressive. Give them my Discord. June 24th I send them a message asking for their Discord since they hadn't tried to contact me on there. June 26th they send me their Discord. 9th Aug I give them a completion date of Aug 20th or to refund me. 10th Aug they tell me their discord & the conversation moves there. They then message me Nov 23rd asking for options to get in contact as I hadn't replied on discord.) So I feel like I have to explain why I apologized in this message & it's bc I usually expect anything w/out a set date to take about 3-5months w/ an update every month or so. Idk , at the time it felt like I just hadn't given them enough time. Last message was because I hadn't replied on Discord (life got busy). Also thought they would be able to finish the art since they had the necessary info/refs. their discord info. #6688 I message them Aug 11th asking how they would like to move forward w/ the commission. They did not reply so Aug 31st I ask for a refund. They reply the same day saying they would be happy to refund me, & that once I opened the dispute they would approve it. But also offer the completion of art & say that that's what they would prefer. Say they can complete it in 2-4days. There is also a side convo about the frustrations of having to be the one to find/contact them & they express that they've had other commissioners complain too & that examples images they sent were for other commissioners that were "understanding/patient." I reply Sep 8th bc I wanted to update my characters reference sheet. Oct 28th I ask for an update. Oct 30th they send me images that show work has/is being done. (life got busy, this is when they sent me the message on Toyhouse) Nov 25th I reply saying I love the update. They reply saying they send me a message on Toyhouse. Say they'll finish ASAP. Nov 28th I thank them for the update. Dec 17th I ask if they can add some character markings. They reply the same day saying yes. They also ask me how I've been doing personally. Dec 21st I share that my life has been busy bc of work. Everything past this point happens in 2022. March 25th I ask for an update, no response. May 29th I ask for an update, even a personal one. No response. June 17th I ask if a partial refund would work as & could just color/finish the update they sent before. No response. I know there are points in this commission where I try to resolve it w/ accepting the money loss, or them offering a refund (but me still having to dispute it to get it?), but they offered to finish the art & hinted that it was the option that worked better for them & I still wanted the art & wanted to do what worked better for them too! Comment on their Toyhouse on Jun 8th, Message them on deviantart jun 17th. Message & comment on their new furaffinity page Jul 2nd/3rd. [Mod Note: Message has been seen and not replied to as of July 10th.] And as of July 3rd, they have made a new Discord (#9660) that they did not make me aware of. I have sent a friend request & am waiting.
 13. Hello there! So a few months ago me and a friend of mine where commissioning a few people in the Artist Ally at Texas Furry Fiesta On the Saturday We went to DAQs booth as we both liked his vintage style. I ordered an inked traditional piece with one character which came out to $50 USD I paid with cash at his both as he had a sign taped next to the price list stating "cash only please" I paid cash and went about my day. The con went well and after I got emails from all the other artists I commissioned except him, I waited a bit longer and still no response, I got a bit suspicious and worried as all the other artists I commission where finished and sent me completed works, all of these where digital and DAQ was traditional which was a bit more odd as I should have been done around the same time if not a bit earlier. I messaged my friend as well to see if they had gotten any response back from him in regards to their piece and they where coming up empty handed as well. I decided to contact one of the emails that where listed to see if I was queued or he at least knows about my commission but that did not work as well. (I'd like to note as well the friend I was with also did the same thing to no response.) I waited a bit longer and still got no response from both email and other forms of communication. At this point I went with a last ditch effort and contacted the head organiser of the artist ally to see if they might have a different email then the one I was provided, they where kind enough to help me and sent an email on my behalf to the one they had on file, and they to came up empty handed as they never got a repose back when they sent the email out on May 20th. At this point I was getting more worried, a few people mentioned to me that what if someone was impersonating him at the convention and informed me to make a public tweet on the matter to clear things up I did so as well on June 7th and have still not gotten a repose back. However during so I did find a comment on Furaffinity from another artist in the artist alley saying he will be making the trip with DAQ as he will be picking him up from a bus station in Texas. As of writing this on June 20th There has been no response from either of the avenues I or other parties have reached out to him on. I am not to sure what to do, and I am wondering if the convention has some kind of Claus or protocol for this where I am able to get my money back, if not it would be a shame to not get some form of recoupment and I hope this artist will be further banned from participating in TFF And now some photos Here is a photo of the price list on his booth, I got the inked version, to the left you can see a bit of the cash only sign, no receipt was given as well Here is the email I sent out to DAQ, just a simple hey just checking in email And here is the email exchange with the head of the TFF artist alley. (big thanks to them for helping) Furaffinity posts confirming he was in attendance there And lastly my public tweet seeing if I can reach out to him that way. Ironically I found his Twitter when he liked a piece I commissioned at TFF, his Twitter is still active as well And that is currently it, so far I have had no responses in awhile and I am hoping something a bit more public will be able to help out but idk. Hopefully this beware is alright and have a good day!
 14. I reached out to @WyldTreeBark back in January 10, 2022. My intention was to commission 2 (which became 3) headshot expressions of my OC Wulden ($60). Conversation carried over into January 12, 2022 where I officially sent my first payment. I had followed them on twitter and interacted with them for a few weeks. They had offered another simple "derpy" expression so I opted to commission one of those too (8 bucks cheap, Commission request made Feb 17, 2022 with a payment sent Feb 21, 2022). As the days moved with no progress reports about my specific commissions noticed that they were experiencing some personal troubles. I let them know that I am patient so don't stress about my commission too much. That post was March 11, 2022. I noticed that through may and into June, this artist had opened up a few times for more commissions, and took on a few more, but I had not received a single notice or progress report regarding my paid for commissions. I made my final message requesting a progress report on their que to see where my commissions placed, and still received no response. After consulting a few friends, they brought to my attention that the last time they even looked at my messages was Feb 21 (the confirmation of payment). They promptly recommended that I just process a refund before it was too late. I have managed to get a successful refund from PayPal for the original $60 purchase, I am still waiting for the 8 dollar purchase. I have included the entire communication list (private messages) I have made with this artist as they have all been oriented toward the business I paid for. I have also included the two PayPal snapshots of my purchase confirmation, and included the successful refund snapshot too.
 15. Shout opened for commissions in October of 2020 and being a fan of their work I jumped at the chance. I can't find the tweet with the original commission opening; sadly they seem to have mostly nuked both of their Twitter accounts. I have attached acceptance of the commission and proof of payment though. So I paid, and then... nothing. For months. I sent them an email, left them a shout on FA (which they deleted), tweeted at them, then tweeted at them AGAIN and still received nothing. Then I get a Twitter DM saying I will get a refund at the end of the month. I would rather have the art, but great! Sounds good. No update from them since. Radio silence. I even tweeted at their NSFW account recently and still nothing. I am guessing, judging by their TWO lengthy Trello queues and constant nuking of social media accounts and making of new ones that I'm not the only person this has happened to.
 16. I am writing today to talk about a fursuit commission I got from Unluckydinobear, who goes by ABearFromSpace now, back in January 2018. Since the transaction is so many years old, I do not have the paypal payment sent screenshots, however, I can show the Telegram chat messages to show that I indeed paid $800 for the commission, and he still has not completed the work, but he's been avoiding making the suit and compiling excuses to this day. I was looking to get a fursuit commission, so I asked any friends to see if they knew any good makers or ideas to find one. A friend of mine, recently got a partial piece done from ABearFromSpace, so he told me his contact and I messaged him to see if he had any openings. I ended up messaging him, and by luck, he said he had room for one more in the queue. I felt extremely lucky, and knowing fursuits take time to create, I would have expected at most this taking a year or two, as long as I was getting updates I was fine with this. After sending character refs and other information, he gave me a quote of about $750. I was a little surprised since my friend got his suit from him for $400, but since he was one of his first commissions I understood the raise of price. With an additional $50 for taxes and shipping, I ended up paying $800 for the partial fursuit. Here I sent a partial payment for the fursuit, and ABearFromSpace tried to make conversation with me the next day which looks like he wanted to get me to pay the rest as soon as possible. After 10 days, he asked me again for the rest of the payment. While I was able to pay the rest of the suit by the end of the month, it was understandable here how he just wanted to make sure the rest of the payment was going through soon. He also offered to make a chat for his commissioners, to my knowledge I don't think he ever did, or at least he never included me. At the beginning of February, I was able to rest the payment, a total of $800. After 2 months and discussions of character information, I was updated with a photo of some base heads Bear would be working on, and I was going to give him measurements to follow up with. Another 2 months went by, and I popped in to see if there were any updates. He was in the process of moving and going to a con, so I told him it was understandable and thanks for updating me. This was about half a year since I paid for my suit and thought maybe I wouldn't have to wait TOO much longer. Some time passed, and we barely talked in August about fursuit adjustments for my character, then in October I asked to see if there was anymore updates, and asked if my suit could be done before Further Confusion (FurCon) 2019 which was held on January 17, 2019. Here he said he thinks he was able to get it done, I held hope but part of me was ready to accept if I couldn't get it by then. November rolls out and I talked with Bear to make sure that the suit would be done before FC, seems like he was confident in getting it done. At the end of December, he drew up another WIP, and we discussed some suit adjustments. Bear told me that he'll do his best to get my suit done by then, and if it's not all done he'd send what was completed. It seemed too good to be true since the con was less than a month away, but I was prepared to see what he'd have done. Come January, he didn't have any part of the suit ready, and apologized saying he had the flu. Him getting it all done asap and rushed seemed to good to be true, so it was understandable he wasn't done, and I told him no rush hoping I'd get some progress soon at least. Bear said after he plans to finish no later than February and will have WIP pictures soon. At the beginning of February, he sent me a very early build, but it was an exciting WIP nonetheless. It seemed like this was the start of great progress, even though it has been over a year since I first commissioned him, but this would be the only WIP photo I'd ever see. While he promised to get my suit done at the end of February, nothing happened. I asked again in March if there was any progress, where he said he was depressed and going through something. Then in April I messaged him if he had any idea of when it would be complete, which he gave me a May-June window. In May he was completely silent, and in June he said he was busy and would have my suit done before the upcoming FurCon 2020 (which would start on January 16, 2020). Here again he said what progress he made and what he had to do, and that he should definitely get the suit done before FC 2020. Come October, I wanted to see if there were any updates, since FC was slowly coming around the corner. He asked when I'd like my suit done before again, then never messaged me until the beginning of next year. Instead of giving me a personal explanation for not getting the suit done again, he just drops this link and quickly scurries out which was the beginning point of me realizing that I wasn't the only one who was waiting for a commission to be done from him. This was the start of me losing my empathy and patience with this guy as things progressively got worse over the next two years. After a bit over a week he responds seeming reluctant to get the suit done "soon". In March I sent him for character tweaks, which was late on my part admittedly, but afterwards in April-June he was completely silent. At the end of July I asked him for another update which resulted in nothing again, and afterwards he did not respond until the beginning of 2021. He finally responds at the beginning of January of 2021, after not messaging me since July 2020. He talks about how he's depressed again, and how he lost his Grandpa. As someone who has lost their grandparents as well, I've been in his position of being in a rut and losing motivation to get things done, however, given his list of excuses given out so many times, I can only feel so much empathy/sympathy from him and let him take LONGER and LONGER to get my suit done. At this point I told him if I could just get a refund if he had too much on his plate at the moment. He said he was willing to do my suit still and how it's "a cutie" which doesn't sound very professional at this point since he's been avoiding me and not getting work done. I told him if he could get it done by June then I'd be okay with it, otherwise I wanted to talk with him about getting a refund. No updates pass by as usual and in March he gives me more excuses and "plans" to get it done in the Summer. Here I tell him I'll be okay with it if the suit can be done by the end of the year. I start to show frustration with Bear as well and tell him I'd like a refund if he doesn't get the work done before the promised time. He ends up ghosting/not communicating with me as usual, so I tell him I'll contest PayPal if he doesn't get my work done. I've seen most people immediately try and contest payments and try to get their money back, but I wanted to talk with him about it instead of doing that. September rolls out and still nothing to show. Here he gives more lists of reasons why he hasn't started and promises to get WIPs soon. I start to get more frustrated with him for his lack of effort and care communicating back with me. I leave two messages to him about how he still hasn't gotten my work done, then he read the messages and never responded, leaving me to tell him again I would contest PayPal. He says at the end to give him this month to try and make progress, if nothing happens he'll start the refunding process. I tell him about how he needs to get his responsibilities in order. I sympathize with him with all the things he's been through but I try and tell him it's no excuse to leave me in the dust when I try and support him ordering a fursuit paying with my hard-earned money. We talk about how if nothing is done for November, then I'd want a refund. He never got the suit done, and says he will work on getting the refund process started by the end of this year or beginning of next. No updates still, we are now in the year 2022, over FOUR years since I first commissioned and sent the payment over to Bear. No updates for another two months until I continually ask him, if I don't message him he'll legit forget about me and continue ignoring getting the fursuit done. I plea with him here, asking if he'll actually get it done, because I've waited so long for basically nothing. Only a few quick sketches and an early base from a few years ago. I just wanted my refund at this point, I didn't even want a fursuit anymore. I felt like enough was enough. He wasn't responding to me, treating me respectfully, or getting any work done. I had come across the Artist's Beware site a few months ago and even noticed someone posted about Bear here (under his old username Unluckydinobear). I figured if he won't give me my money back for a fursuit he promised to get done several times over the past couple of years, this was my best bet to post. My friend, who originally got his suit from Bear, told me it was only partially completed and how Bear still needed to make adjustments, and also left him in the dust. I wrote all of this here today not to "callout" or want any threats toward Bear, but I hope that if people end up showing interest in commissioning this man, please be aware of what you are getting yourself into. It has been 4+ years since I first commissioned Bear for a fursuit, and I still have gotten nothing. As of June 11, 2022, he still has not messaged me back, and looking at his Twitter account it seems like he's too distracted with other affairs to even care

That's what her first comment replies to. We struck up a kind of friendship during this. This was my first trade, and I was new to the business world. I really loved a keyblade she had made as well, which became one of the items in the trade. All went well, easy contact and exchanging necessary information. I do believe -- this should have been a red flag for me -- My biggest mistake was to agree to send it in time for Halloween. I sent out the package, and I asked about her sending the keyblade. I should've taken "My Mom Sent it" as another red flag at that point. I'm thinking I missed some Notes here (Went through all my notes) or the messages were through skype, as she had failed to tell me that Pakko arrived, and I only knew because of shipping. I had posted an advice post around now about this, as the keyblade was taking longer to arrive than it should have. Luckily it arrived around a week after that. Contact seemed to have died after she got Pakko. She decided to sell him after Halloween ( http://oi48.tinypic.com/13z5u15.jpg ) which I wouldn't really have minded much if it was not for the fact I had only ONE of the items she needed to send me. So, I proceeded to send her a note in November or December for updates. Come January and still nothing, despite her stating she's going to send everything out. By now I had gotten more experience dealing in business, and simply was quite angered at this, and wanted to get it over with and get my stuff. Now it's February. I've completed 1 complete head, 1 almost complete head, and 2 head bases in this time, so I have gained more experience in buying and selling and simply do not comprehend how she is not done and shipping things to me. I'm just really annoyed, and decided it's finally time to make a Beware on her.

(Later extended, as will explain.) WHEN: Aug 2012 - Feb 2013 Proof/Explain: - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4344146/ - FurAffinity Admins asked to take down the journal, here is a screenshot of it. http://imgur.com/EowoH5R I commissioned sweetnightmare in Aug of 2012 to create a fursuit of my fursona Inukaza. I paid up front, later upgrading to a full suit. When I first commissioned her, I made a request to be updated by photo every month. At first, she was willing, and sent updates. October was the last update I received. Afterwords, every half-month I would ask for a photo update, to which she would respond that they did not have a camera to take the update with. Contrary to that fact, they were still able to upload pictures with a camera that they acquired, yet still were able to come up with a excuse to not give progress photos. Oh wait. That's because they were hiding the fact that there was no process. Well, to make this factual, reasonable process. Today, Feb 15th, 2013, 5 months, 20 days from the day I ordered the product, I received a box full of supplies. To clarify, I asked her to send me the supplies, because it was getting absurd about how long I was waiting. The due date for this project was in December. What did I receive? What does almost 6 months of progress look like? 1. A few yards of black and brown fur. Not enough for full suit, maybe not even enough brown to create the rest of the partial. Once I check with the amazing person who might be finishing this suit for me, I'll update this. ( http://i.imgur.com/6JzTZRY.png ) 2. Foam Base ( http://imgur.com/a/Elifk ) <--- Actual photo. 2.A. Here is a progress photo she sent from Oct. 2012. Please compare. ( http://i.imgur.com/vNIAGZv.jpg) 3. White and Black sculpey, for teeth and mouth. 4. Slippers. (I can't tell where she got them from, decent.) 5. Foam for eyes, mouth, ears. 6. Cut-outs for paws. Not sewn in. 7. Some thread. (Here's her actual list of what she said she was sending me. She sent what she said she would. http://i.imgur.com/BYI5sNo.png). What's not included? 1. Polyfill, she said there was no room in the box to put it. I beg to differ, I personally could have fit it in there. However, I won't argue it, as it could be said to have been done to not crush the head base. 2. Foam for foot paws. At this point, it would have been nice to still offer a refund for those supplies or buy a bigger box, I was paying for shipping either way. 3. Completed fursuit. Seriously. (By this I mean it in a sarcastic way, I know I asked for the materials, however, I was led to be aware up until she told me what was in the package that the tail, footpaws, and more of the handpaws were done. So, recap. I got a foam base, and supplies to make a fursuit. Meaning, tail wasn't even started to be worked on. Handpaws only partially done, and head....well, you can see with the photos from above. You might be asking, why did I deal with this? She apparently has had tons of issues thought out the past few years. I want to, and I actually do, believe her. Of course, shit happens, sometimes you have to deal with what's thrown at you. Bad anxiety, home issues, relationship issues. (She her journals on her page to confirm and read up on the nature of it and make your own opinions). I felt bad, and I went along with it. However, throughout my contacts with her, I was constantly led to believe that this project would be done sooner. Here's some documentation. 10/03/2012: I asked what I can expect to be done by the next monthly update. ( http://i.imgur.com/SsuCNb9.png ) 10/23/2012: I asked how many commissions are ahead of mine, to get a gauge on how many she has. Just a FYI, at this point she has started selling her services every other week. She still is selling fursuits at this point. ( http://i.imgur.com/JNQxy7h.png ) 10/29/2012: I was discussing upgrading to a full suit. I asked for a photo update for the month of November now, she said her cam was being derpy. ( http://i.imgur.com/J5xCdVT.png ) 11/05/2012: I asked her about a time frame to expect the photos. She mistakenly confused it for asking when the suit was done, and clarified her deadline. As well as promising to get my photo update. ( http://imgur.com/a/8qU6N ) 11/29/2012: I am getting really ticked at this point. I tell her that even though I'm her friend, it's stupid that this is becoming impossible to get updates. Her husband comes over on her skype to explain the situation. I made her aware that if she can not deliver updates, do not promise them. ( http://imgur.com/a/PhiZo ) This same day, she says she needs more time on the suit. ( http://imgur.com/QlqCQ3N ). 12/13/2012: Asked for a photo update. Never came. ( http://i.imgur.com/1E5IKad.png ). 12/26/2012: I asked for a update. No response. ( http://i.imgur.com/7LVnZha.png ). 1/02/2013: She offered a refund at this point when I confronted her about the updates, but with no sight of when I'd get it. At this point, I've heard stories from past commissioners who have stated that when they asked for a refund they didn't receive it til half a year later. I opted to keep on going with it. ( http://imgur.com/1CZcSfR ) This is where the lies start kicking in. She lied about the progress the suit was in. She states the tail and feet are done. Neither of which were started in reality. And the hand paws were further progressed than what they were in reality. ( http://i.imgur.com/6vahOk4.png ). 1/03/2013: Apparently there is now four suits in front of me. Remember back in Oct. 2012 when there were only three that were almost done? ( http://i.imgur.com/GphSFXV.png ). Late Jan/ Early Feb: She moved to a new house, as you can see by reading her new journals. Obviously and understandably, suit making was not the first thing on her mind. At this point I'm getting tired of asking for updates. 2/02/2013: I asked for another update. She said there were more suits in front of mine. Others were rushed orders. No shit, really, mine is a rush order by now. It's 2 months overdue at this point. ( http://i.imgur.com/VLESINJ.png ) She requested me to send all updates to her husband, scixzor scixzor. All updates, notes, requests that I sent to him were read, and ignored. By ignored, I mean he did not send a response, including those that deliberately requested him to reply. ( http://i.imgur.com/68oVAog.png ) 2/05/2013: I asked her to just send me supplies for unfinished suit so I could finish it myself. I am still under the impression that everything is pretty much done. She still says that it would be done and shipped by the end of Feb, the absolute final due date. ( http://i.imgur.com/K33TUGA.png ) 2/06/2013: She sends a message saying she wants to send me the unfinished suit. ( http://i.imgur.com/JfsoxgJ.png ) I asked her to write a detailed invoice telling what she has done, and what needs to be done. Mostly for the reason of making this journal. It was a way for her to defend herself and for things to be factual to back up my claims. She didn't send it, saying she forgot. ( http://imgur.com/QcoJAL6 ) 2/08/2013: Items sent via UPS. I paid shipping. ( http://i.imgur.com/6Hw6ekt.png ). 2/15/2013: I received items, here is a video of me opening it and going though it. Please excuse the bad lighting, out lights our out in that area of our apartment. Also, NSFW language. This was the first time I saw those items. I was pissed. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMP5FpmFoKA ) OVERALL: I feel I was scammed. She's not a reliable fursuit maker. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend commissioning her. If you have already done so, make your own choice. If you want to take this to heart, I would make the choice to cancel your order. If you want more proof, send me a note with your questions and I'll be happy to provide you with more information. Additional Information: I canceled the commissioned after a financial hardship on 1/21/13, I asked to have it reinstated on 1/27/13. ( http://imgur.com/a/E3jbu ) She was completely fine with it, not giving me any reason to believe this was a issue. The original deadline was Dec 25th. Second deadline was Feb 1st. Third Deadline was March 1st. Each time extended because I asked if she needed more time, thinking she was almost done. ( http://imgur.com/a/1ANhI ) I said I wanted to take the stress off her and take the items. I still thought that the Tail, hand paws, and foot paws were completely done, and the head was ready to foam until after this happen when she clarified what would she be sending me.( http://i.imgur.com/baidQSA.png ) Aftermath of the journal: I received several messages asking for me to take down my review, I refused. She wanted to fix this by letting me return the materials I asked for and finishing it faster. However, the entire reason I asked for the materials, legitimately, was to send them to another suit maker to use them. There is no way this can be fixed, as this is a complaint about customer service and not the fact that I expected a completed suit when I asked for the materials. There was a strong smell of smoke on the suit, I didn't think much of it. However, it turns out the person I sent the materials to finish my suit is actually allergic, so take that to heed.
 20. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/657163.html WHO: Clay Mann aka TitanFalls WHERE: Fan Expo (Canadian comic convention) Also does work at deviantart, and titanfalls.com. This artist is a professional comic book artist that currently works for Marvel Comics. WHAT: A hand drawn commission of an X-Men character (traditional art). I approached Mr. Mann in person at the 2011 Fan Expo Comic Convention. This con is a 4 day convention, and we spoke very early on during day 1. The art was paid for in cash, $100 Canadian, up front by myself and two other friends (who each also paid $100 CAD for a piece each of their own). Each day of the convention we were told to come back and check in to see progress, and by day 4 Clay had left early to catch a flight home. Before he left, he asked each of us to email him with our addresses so that he could mail the art to us directly, implying that the pieces were with his luggage at the time. WHEN: The transaction began on August 23, 2011 which was also the date of the payment. Within a week after the con myself and both of my friends emailed him with our personal addresses. PROOF: My post-con email; friend #1's post-con email. EXPLAIN: After no reply, I waited about one month later to reach him again (Sept 30, 2011), this time trying both of his email addresses. That email was responded to 3 days later with an apology stating that he was very busy working on a mini (Magneto, which was only 3 issues long) for Marvel that required his attention. He told me to pass that along to my friends, which I told him that I would (and did). I did not hear from Clay again at all after this time. He opened up commissions again on Feb 14, 2012 on his deviantart and blog, so upon seeing this I sent him another email asking for an update, which was ignored. Friend #1 sent him another email in May 2012. This email was ignored. Friend #2 was able to reach him July 2012 and was told that all three commissions were being sent to her so that she could pass them along to us. She did not hear from him again, and no commissions were mailed to her. At this time he did apologize and gave us another reason for his busy-ness. Which is fine; crap hits the fan for people all the time and I wanted to give him the benefit of a doubt. It had been 11 months by then and while it had been an inconvenience, it was not utterly unreasonable. By the time November 2012 rolled along, I had grown tired of waiting and emailed him to ask for a refund. Once again, I was ignored. Frustrated, I had made a post to my tumblr (which was admittedly a bit bitter sounding) and later got an Ask from another user who pointed me in the direction of this community. All of this was public and could be seen by anyone. The next day friend #2 received an email from Clay, ironically enough, stating that he would have our commissions sent to us within the week and that he was sorry about everything. I wanted to, again, to give him the benefit of a doubt, but I was very unhappy with the idea of getting art that I did not want and asked a refund for. I searched around to see if this artist has had a bad rep before, and I did find a few things elsewhere. Needless to say, it was quite possibly a ruse to get me to shut up and not come here. Not sure, but either way I'm tired of waiting and my friends and I are tired of being ignored. If you are a comics fan or a convention goer and you are considering getting a personal piece of art from him, I would do so with caution.
 21. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/654319.html WHO: FlyingFire is her user name WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Traditional 2 character Sketch. WHEN: I commissioned her in August. 40.00 for down payment I gave her all the information she needed to get on a rough sketch. Due date was Dec. Granted I've been busy but I've checked on her every now and again but I think I got back to talking about it in Nov or early Dec I told her I was fine with delaying the due date to Jan. She was asking about the final 40.00 which I paid the final on Dec. 9th Update 07/10: please read below. PROOF: *Please Note for your convenience I did copy the notes into font. Please do know that often Flying fire would respond out of order, like I was working top down and her conversation was working bottom up, so kind like the universe expanding opposite directions. Just so you know, so I won't hurt everyone's eyes and brains. ~Thank you*
Any number of those make good ideas! (sorry it took me so long to reply btw! I was gone. :c ) My Paypal is ___ . Add me on Skype and we can chat vocally, and you can even watch the progress as it goes along! -Fire.

Okay, I'm game! ^.^ I remember you from Morphicon! You and your nice owly friend. You were both super nice and it was fun to see you. ^.^ Also, yes. It'd be eighty dollars. Incremental pay is just fine, just so you know. Do you have refs, and also, do you have skype? That way maybe we can talk as I draw things out for you and Arctic. Did you know I know Artic? I'm not sure what happened but we stopped talking a few years ago. Its been a long time, but it'd be great to do something nice for her. (and you too, of course) 🙂 What kind of theme would this be? Or would that be artistic freedom?
Well I want to commission an art piece 2 character of me and my best friend Artic. Now the Deadline would be December since I plan for it to be a birthday gift from me to her. I'm guessing it be around 80.00? I mean I know my character has a lot of details and hers she gets kind of picky. I do know she does have a variety of badges. I think your art would be one she would like. So I tend to like feral/quad, and her most recent reference is of a quad/feral Artic. If your interested in drawing please let me know. I can pay half now and then the other half when I get rough sketch/regular drawing approved. Since I know that be easiest way for me to pay since it is a lot of money and I don't want a birthday gift to be finished before I can approve of the drawing done. This is a piece I hope you have plenty of time to work on at your own pace. I'm hoping December is a far enough time away.

That be great, my user name for Skype not like caps matter. I sure do, have references. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/7782892/ I need to re do it since the tail is off. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5257642/ this is how the last band is suppose to be its wraps around to the bottom but it doesn't connect underneath. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6448079/ Like this explains the details best its just outdated as far as the tail and the fact everyone who goes by this gets the stripes wrong because its good way to map where the stripes are but people have put dots on my stripes and made them very much like connect the dots. But I plan on getting another reference done. I'm just been rather slow about it. ;_; because I'm a busy/lazy cat. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8431740/ Artics most recent info. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8229703/ this is colored something this hopefully will give you and idea of how to shade things. This is her old reference http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1372053/ Its colored too. I think that covers it. I will try to make myself available on Skype. As for ideas,
*SIDE NOTE: Just so you know I had spoke with her and said that reference I provided for the feral would be fine. As for the stripe issue I had a reference that did not work so well because the stripes were in the right position but they made the stripes look funny so I never got people to do my stripes like normal, right position but weird stripes. FlyingFire Aug 19

Well, that was unnecessary, and it would have taken you two extra seconds to send me an actual note instead of a page shout. However, despite your doubts, as quoted here: Give me my money back. You did not provide me my sketch days, weeks, over a month of saying your weak excuses. You stole money from me, by not providing the service you agreed to. heres your sketch. As I said before, its done and has been done for awhile. I had to deal with that thing called real life, taking my cat to the vet to make sure she didn't have cancer amongst them, so yeah, I was preoccupied. This is partially why I forgot to link you your art, but you should Never send a note to someone, or a shout, when your that irrational. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_75698d75af_z.jpg You can have this until I receive an apology for such rash words, whereupon I'll send you the full re-res image.
I'm not being irrational, you are horrifically late. Honestly I've given you over a week to get to me on this. You had not taken the extra 2 to 3 seconds to link me this information. I am not apologizing to you. I told you I'd like to have some pre-sketch for me to confirm at least progress and maybe throw in my 2 cents. Regardless of you circumstances you have been absolutely poor at communicating properly. Now I told you I need to have proof by last Sunday at least...I have not seen anything until I've given you this shout. When a time is set I expect something to be done, or at least a note back to say as to why there is a delay. Frankly I've been waiting on some proof that you've done anything, So it is not irrational for me to suspect you are not true to your words as we've had this discussion before. I've been dealing with a thing called life like everybody else. I have 2 jobs, and I work to pay off my condo/townhouse. I know a lot about due dates, with college and bills and if something comes up I try to work something out but you expect me to pay for sketch and then I don't see anything for like a month? I wonder who sounds like they are being irrational now? You know I have bad days but at least I communicate with my boss and those who need to know and let them know if something will be delayed.
I'm sure you understand that there's a lot of difference between being busy personally, and busy with business, and I was busy with both. I can understand your business just fine, but you need to know remember that there is a difference. Also, you paid the fourty as a half payment. Thats why I hadn't started. My policy is generally to get full payment and then begin. Irregardless to this roundabout we seem to be having, is this sketch to your liking, or is it not? Let me know when you have a minute to sit back and look at whats been done. Here is the large file. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_f79f42a2c7_k.jpg
*Side note: I was up late that night and had not slept so well this last week. Which that and also having someone say I'm being irrational started what some furries call "Tiny Tora Rage." Which may I say that all my anger is pretty legit, maybe a little fluffed...but I am the person to burn bridges if I find that it leads me to no where I want to be. She had mentioned her cat for the first time to me, I know I saw something posted in her journal 2 months prior, so granted I know people can have emotional issues...but I feel if that is the case it is the artist's obligation to mention that they will need some time out. I can't take in consideration for something I do not know of, all she had mentioned prior is she was busy. Which is what I had been hearing for some time. FlyingFire Feb 7th(2) Now for the Cherry on top the art I've been waiting for b/c after I yelled at her on her wall...I got this. Artic_Tora_flyingfire Also, the sprinkles on top would be that she and posted this on FA saying Artic and I are Mates. Which I do understand where someone might get that, but I had told her beforehand that we were best friends. We have matching icons, we are giving each other a head bump, not kisses. So even though some people think we are a couple, unfortunately that is not the case, we just joke about it profusely. In reality we both are pretty heterosexual, even though I'm bi-sexual, I do have a boyfriend. I Do Apologize for any confusion on this matter. I know I've not disclaimed my status of relationship to others. EXPLAIN: I may have not stayed on track with this artist through every step but honestly I think more artist prefer people not to get with them on daily basis. I did remind them in a journal prior which I think that is when they brought up the 40.00 final that was in Nov. I still feel if you did not provide any proof of art done you are stealing from the buyer. This person is on the same level of scam artist as far as I'm concerned. Updated Feb. 10th, 2013 Flying Fire got back to me shortly after the shout I mad on her FA account. Basically I was angry she had not provided and I had figured some public attention would get her attention and maybe create some results, which it did. I have provided proof of 95% of our conversations. I feel the other 5% is non-important as it doesn't really say much. I've not replied back to her as frankly I don't feel this art is really worth 80.00 but with her cat going to the vet. I really doubt I will get the 40 back.
 22. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/648340.html First of all, I must say that I do not have a lot of pictures to prove our conversations, Due to Hinauchi deleting me from her skype, making me unable to get the conversations back. First proof. Here is the WORK IN PROGRESS she has posted on furaffinity of my fursuit. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6443683/ Do note it was posted (as of this time) A year ago. (September 5th, 2011) About 5 months after I had purchased my suit. Proof link of A recent message we had on facebook as of November 24, 2012 1. http://imgur.com/6MxxI 2. http://imgur.com/Jjsli and 3. http://imgur.com/tfMSN The proof that she no longer is on my skype contacts http://imgur.com/6WQ8h Recent proof she is now raising a ton money to see her "bby" for her leisure http://imgur.com/SJKk5 ++ My comment that got marked as spam, ( It was me informing to the public that she is raising money for yet another thing, even though she still has not shipped what i ordered) http://imgur.com/bPjOU Then, her proceeding to tell someone that "I should have noted her" Even though she never contacts me http://imgur.com/vTc27 Explination. I made my fursuit purchase from Hinauchi In early April 2011. I did not order the fursuit to be here on a specific date, although i had figured it wouldn't take too long, considering i've seen her make fursuits often, she even set up a fusuit website of her own here http://speckledbluenose.weebly.com/ so I assumed she was somewhat proffessional about it. I payed around $445 for a fursuit head, tail, and paws of my old character Rayne via paypal. Basically, I have asked her about how she was doing on it since the purchase via skype, but i no longer can reach the conversations due to her unadding me. I do remember her taking forever to even show me pictures of my commission, giving me dates on when the fursuit should ship to me, and then my fursuit of course never getting to me. Apparently, as she has told me, her mother stole my shipping money. Which is of course theft, and is illegal. I asked for her mothers number, and she refused to give it to me. She has made countless excuses since 2011 such as; Her mother wont take her to the store for supplies Her mother stole the money Her camera was broken She was busy She was going through a hard time She was at her dads She was moving It has been almost 2 years now since i have purchased it, and all she does is give me excuses and sad stories and explanations on why she couldn't ship it to me. Then informing me that it should get to me soon, when it never does. I don't understand why she can finish other people's commissions, such as drawings, and never have any time to go to a post office to ship a package. She claims that it is "buried under a mountain of shit in her closet" and she plans to "dig it out and get it shipped" Which she has been saying for months of course. I posted a comment on the journal talking about raising money to see her lover to inform people that she isn't responsible enough to get purchases to people. She is lazy, irresponsible, and immature. I did not wish to post something like this, although it has bothered me for far too long and people should have a right to know, considering she opens auctions, commissions, and other things where she must send commissions out. It's a very confusing position to be in.

PROOF: Payment: http://sta.sh/015fmnv6xpi8 Confirmation of Payment received by artist: http://sta.sh/0250y8xrzh0m EXPLAIN: I first ordered the commission and they told me to wait as they were travelling but they would get it to me soon. I have commissioned hundreds of artwork and so I know that these things take time. So I did not think anything of it for the first couple of months. By the fifth month I started to get nervous so I noted him and asked him if he had any updates for me. Another month went by and I got really nervous. This was six months at this point. That to me is a completely unacceptable wait time with no correspondence from their side. So I noted him (December 19th, 2012) and that note (to this day) is unread. http://sta.sh/01cdlkl8n2pd I then sent a personal email to the artist on January 2nd asking them if they had any updates for me and I even included our correspondence via DA. I told them that I was very uncomfortable with the situation as he had not replied to me and he was not uploading anything new on DA. I then asked for a refund. (This email to this day is not replied to) http://sta.sh/026ybvl2jei6 I again noted them on DeviantART on January 7th, 2013 telling him that this was my third time at attempting to get in touch with him. I directly asked for a refund. (This note is till showing unread) http://sta.sh/0143o1socsjl At this point I was growing very annoyed because his profile status on DA was showing that he was LOGGING into DeviantART yet not replying or even reading my notes. So I took the conversation to his front profile. I left a comment stating that I had attempted to contact him via Note and Email and had yet to receive a response. I asked for a refund. (This comment is not responded to) http://sta.sh/01teukbebxq0 On January 14th, 2013 I took this to Paypal and sent him a money request. In the request I stated that I wanted my refund for my commission and that I have been trying to contact him regarding this manner. I had hoped this would grab his attention. http://sta.sh/0ud93ie3czd As of yesterday (1/29/2013) I put a comment inside of his DA journal stating that I was very unhappy with his communication and that it was completely unprofessional on how he was handling these matters when I can clearly see that he is on DA. I told him to give me an update on my artwork or send me a refund or I would call him out stating that he was an art thief. And I would inform his latter commissioners to not pay him as they would never get their art. http://sta.sh/019qp81cas5c Today (1/30/2013) I sent him an email letting him know that I have made a complaint with Paypal for his actions, and if he got enough complaints Paypal would limit his account. http://sta.sh/01156ktki2g5 I hope that he will at least give us the artwork he promised to me and all the others that are on his list or at least send us our money back! Today (11/12/2013) I was notified by another deviant that he was online 3 days ago (11/09/2013) He has not read any of my notes, nor replied to any of my emails. This artist is a fraud! He has stolen my money and has no intentions of finishing his work that people have paid for! He has not updated his account, nor has he posted any new artwork! He's a scam! Do not order art from him! Today (11/22/2013) I have logged onto DeviantART only to find that he has deactivated his account! This artist is clearly a fraud and I have emailed him and send paypal money requests and he still has not replied to anything! Be cautious if you see anyone with his familiar artwork posting anywhere! He's a fake! And a money thief!

We knew it was an ambitious target, so it wasn't disappointing when it wasn't done yet. Shortly after Rainfurrest 2011, there was some personal drama between myself and my ex best friend, which Fenrir's Child had inadvertently became involved with in other ways. Unknown to me at the time, this caused her to lose motivation to work on my fursuit. Several deadlines were set and missed. The first deadline after the drama was for January 2012, where I would pick up the fursuit for the When Furballs Strike 8 bowling meet in Kenmore, WA. When my wife and I went, the fursuit was not yet completed. The head was finished on the outside, but unwearable due to incomplete interior work. Because of the delays, Fen had offered free upgrades to make up for the extended wait. I gladly accepted. Unfortunately, upgrades aren't any good unless you actually get the fursuit. The next date was set for another When Furballs Strike meet in late May 2012. Again, the fursuit was not complete, with several months going by with absolutely no work done. The next completion date was set for Halloween 2012. Needless to say, it wasn't finished either. In November Fen had opened up for more commissions, and one of my closest friends had posted on her journal asking about my fursuit: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/SirFratley/Journalcomment.png Shortly after, Fen had finally come forward with why she had not been working on my fursuit this whole time, and offered a partial refund, which I politely declined because of financial troubles on her end: http://pastebin.com/k2PACa6X We decided to push for December completion. In early December, it was discovered that my head was missing, believed stolen. We discussed various options, including her remaking a head if I don't dock her in reviews or I pay $300, I get the remainder of the suit plus a partial refund, or, least desireable, a full refund. However, she backed out of any agreements and said she will be refunding me, without any say in the matter, in 45 days from the date of the police report for the claimed theft. Here is the full chatlog from that conversation: http://pastebin.com/q1UbWVix On the day the refund was due, she paid at 10 PM, without answering my emails or IMs asking what's going on, since it was getting late in the day and I still hadn't received my refund. Thankfully I did eventually find the refund in my paypal account, and our transaction is closed. Throughout this entire ordeal, I have been as patient as humanly possible, when all my friends were saying I should be making a fuss and have posted her on A_B a long time ago. Before the head was stolen, even Fen agrees I've been extremely patient: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/SirFratley/FensaysImpatient.png This entire commission has been nothing but constant waiting and repeated disappointment. There were many times I had felt absolutely trapped. I wanted to speak up and say she was taking too long, but if I did, I feared she would rush and push out a sub-par product, or give up and refund me without even trying to finish it. When she backed out of our agreement to let me have the rest of the fursuit minus the head, the gloves came off. While Fen's quality of work is extremely good, she simply lacks professionalism, basic business ethics, and the ability to complete large projects on time, allowing personal drama to interfere with her commissions. For small items such as tails, she would be a great builder to consider, but for anything more, I say Buyer Beware. Edit: Updated the proof to include initial email and Fen's old TOS. Also fixed a typo that had been driving me nuts. Edit 2: Added the FA notes between Synwolf and Fen, kindly provided by Synwolf.
