  1. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/1008605.html WHO: Murdoxy/Stellary/Inkyfox/Spiffy WHERE: Furaffinity & Email WHAT: Three digital pieces, valued at a total of $45. WHEN: September 2014 EXPLAIN: In September of 2014 I decided to purchase three pieces from (then) Murdoxy. Equaling up to $45 total. I ordered these from Murdoxy from my Furaffinity account Blysse as seen below: Note 1 This is where I inquired originally about the commission. Note 2 This is where we agreed on the price. Note 3 Confirming payment Note 4 First (and only) WIP. On October 10th I received a WIP (as seen in the 4th note above) of two of the three commissions seen here: WIP 1 WIP 2 These would be the only images of those commissions I would ever see. On October 19th, 2014 Murdoxy posted a journal about moving over to the account Stellary. Journal Seen Here Once the move was finished a journal was posted on Stellary's to-do list with me shown on it as paid and sketched even to this day. To-Do List On Stellary As Of Today After some time passed I wanted to know why I had not received my commission so I checked in on Stellary. Admittedly I should have checked in ALOT sooner but honestly I forgot about the commission for a while. I came back to Stellary's page to find this journal about them leaving Furaffinity for good. Journal About Leaving Fa Posted May 10th, 2016 So I did exactly what Stellary suggested, which was contact them via Email. I emailed Stellary THREE times over the next year without ever getting a reply. I also left a shout on Stellary's Furaffinity account hoping to get some kind of answer. Email 1 (Jan 20th, 2017) Email 2 (May 25th, 2017) Shout (Left the same day as email 2, May 25th, 2017) Email 3 (admittedly I was getting a bit agitated at this point. This was on Dec 9th, 2017 and I have still had no answer at this point from Stellary). So now we get to today. So today I woke up and was checking on old commissions. I had honestly forgotten about Stellary for a while since it had been almost four years now since I commissioned them. I checked Stellary's account to see if anything new was posted and found this shout. To me this seemed to indicate that Stellery had a new account under "Spiffy" they were operating from again. I checked their Leaving Fa journal again and it seems they used the same name for their tumblr so the name of the new account seemed to match up. Leaving Fa Journal Again For Reference Of The Tumbler name Being The Same As The New Fa Name "Spiffy" So I decided to send this new account a note to see if I could finally go ahead and get a refund. Low and behold Spiffy has blocked me on BOTH of my main accounts (the one I used to commission them back in 2014 and the new account I have switched to since then). Message I Tired To Send (I actually see now that I made a mistake when messaging Spiffy and said two years ago when it was really four years, but that isn't really the point). Block Proof I was able to send my message out from my VERY old account that I also use to watch Murdoxy on here. I sent this early this morning but as of this posting it has not been read by Spiffy. But I honestly have very little hope of them replying. So far I have been completely ignored and then blocked by Stellary/Murdoxy/Spiffy for wanting information on a commission that is almost four years late at this point. I realize I waited longer than I should have to follow up on the commission but I don't believe I deserve to be ran off on because of it. I really didn't want to submit one of these because I am normally able to solve these types of issues myself, however in this case I feel I have done all I can on my own. At this point all I want from the artist is a refund so that we may both move on with our lives. One of the characters I commissioned from them I no longer own and another one of them has since been retired. Getting the art at this point would almost be a disappoint. PROOF: All attached files are located in order here. Edit 1: As of 1:50 PM CST today 08/08/2018 Spiffy has read my note about a refund but has not replied. I will update again if they reply. Edit 2: Fixed the links. Sorry about that! Edit 3: As of 11/23/2018 the artist had still not replied. I suspect I was blocked again. I don’t intend to make any further attempts to contact them on furaffinity because of their rules, however I may email the artist again in the future about this. If so I will update again as needed.
  2. Apr. 24th, 2012 at 9:21 PM pumpkin314 WHO: Stellary/Absinthe aka Inky/Stellary on Chatlands WHERE: main base: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/absinthe, commission transactions took place on TheTotemLands (prior to closing) and on Serenity Isles WHAT: 2 "poses" from TTL ($8 each [edit, my email says $6 was sent for the one pose which was completed, but I believe the other two were considered $8 as the ref was $20, if I remember correctly]) and 3 poses on Serenity ($13) each; one owed TTL pose completed WHEN: Commission began around June 2009 PROOF: Original emails (TTL): Commission on Serenity: Note asking for a refund: Recent emails asking for an update/refund: Recent PM on wolfhome asking for information: Unfortunately I have no paypal screenshots of the transaction as the account I used to pay has since been closed, however I would assume that her replying she had received payment should be enough proof on my end. EXPLAIN: Back in 2009 I commissioned Inky for a refsheet of my character, however I changed it from a ref to 2 chat poses (and got a third pose later which was completed) and told her to keep the extra (as seen in first email) [also this proof is lost as TTL has been closed and I never thought to get screenshots of these PMs]. This art was never completed and I lost contact with her. In 2011 she posted a topic to sell poses again on the chat SerenityIsles and I contacted her then about the owed art and was interested in getting some new commissions. One of the owed poses was completed and that was all. Later in the year I attempted to contact her as she had posted another topic selling custom chat poses. At this point she said she would probably no longer do poses but could instead offer me another type of art in place of these poses. Unfortunately, life got the best of me and I was unable to reply for a few more months, this is my fault completely and not a lack of communication on her part. However, I emailed her again almost two weeks ago without response. A few days after sending the most recent email I forwarded it again to her. Tonight (4/24) I tried to send her a private message on another chatlands forum she was taking commissions on. She has read the message but has yet to respond. EDIT: Finally got a response from her. I sent her a second PM on the forum she is actively making poses on and got a response. Private Messages: For the record here is the previously mentioned email about being "banned": I will accept blame for the email not being sent immediately. I had written it up and attempted to send it from my school wifi on my phone but must have left the wifi zone and caused it to wait in my outbox until I was back home and using stable wifi. The choice to keep her from selling on Serenity was not only my choice, as stated in my replies, but the choice of several team members giving their input and opinions on the matter. She had taken not only my money but the money of other users on Serenity and they were, luckily, refunded. And I managed to dig out the transaction in my paypal history: And her topic on the Wolfhome forums actively selling poses: I was honestly shocked that she was treating me so unprofessionally because of a grudge about a supposed ban on her account on the chat I manage. Whether I had banned her or not I would hope that she would be able to treat me respectably and professionally as this is a business transaction between two people, when money is involved there should be no room for grudges. EDIT 2: Taking on more commissions: Recent journal about how little she cares (yet needs to make a spectacle of not caring): http://screencast.com/t/Qhjj8g7805 http://screencast.com/t/D1Pixolf (no time for art but still managing to complete her own personal art as well as premade characters) Art she has completed recently: Sketch of ref sheet: http://screencast.com/t/7KUk7Q6hG5v Completed ref sheet (finished within 24 hours): http://screencast.com/t/bYzwDyIvZP Premade "hell hound" sales: Topic posted: http://screencast.com/t/gC2ppMqURLM Final bid: http://screencast.com/t/AkIa3INBQQ She claims to have no time to draw due to her work schedule, but she is able to create sketches for herself and even had the time to finish a ref sheet. Since taking the pose commissions on WolfHome she has completed one and has created several poses for herself (here are two of these: http://screencast.com/t/t6t2hmk7No8). She has also been able to make and sell premade characters (I know not too much work goes into these but still she could use the time to work on commissions). She went and made a journal about how little she cares about being posted here, which shows she will most likely never change her ways as she does not care about her reputation or how others view her. I'm giving a short break between my last PM to her and my next one, so she can not say I have not been patient. EDIT 3: More comments from her "I don't care" journal: http://screencast.com/t/PhCTc802oN She's posted a journal asking people to leave a comment in order to receive a refund. Oddly enough, this is exactly what happened with me last time and she ended up not refunding me anyway. Here's the journal: http://screencast.com/t/sAppy7EcpAD I also don't feel like I should have to comment on her journal just to remind her of what she owes me when I told her less than a week ago. Will keep this updated as it all unfolds!
  3. Feb. 2nd, 2012 at 7:55 PM lolitaofthevoid WHO: Stellary/MuffinButton, via SpaceInvaders WHERE: http:///furaffinity.net/user/spaceinvaders WHAT: A refund for a flash-coded ref sheet WHEN: July 2nd, 2011 PROOF: - original paypal receipt http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o176/GothicLolita66/refundnotes.png - The notes between Alex and I, and the one I sent to Stellary. http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o176/GothicLolita66/notes1-1.png - screencap of my outbox, showing that my note was read. Orange marks near the first note to SI and the one to Stellary. EXPLAIN: I ordered a ref sheet from them in July. There was a bit of an argument because their journal had said "send payment within twenty-four hours of claiming your spot", so I sent it after I requested one. Stellary and Alex got upset with me as they had not discussed it with me before I sent it, but apologized and said that yes, I could have a slot since I paid. I apologized for misinterpreting their journal, and all seemed well. It was my error, please do not judge me badly for it. I was overexcited and I made amends. Near the end of July they posted a journal stating that they would be willing to issue refunds, though, for those who wished it. Proof: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2564103/ I waited until November, with still no sign of activity. I sent the account a note (they asked not to be messaged on the personal accounts about them) asking for one on the 15th. Alex told me to speak with Stellary about it. I sent her a note, asking for a refund, letting her know Alex had pointed me to her. She read the note, but never replied. (note screenshots are up top under Proof, they're a little bit small) I don't want to start a fight, and I know they already has posts about the sheets, but I didn't want to necromance them back to life. This is my first AB. I know that times are rough for almost everyone, believe me I understand, but it doesn't look like they are ever going to be completed. I do want to say that I appreciate Alex responding to my notes and being kind ^^ Edit: Including both, since they did split the payment. Edit: Alex was super-nice and is gonna send me his half. Thank you Alex! Edit: Sent Stellary a new inquiry note. I will update if it gets read or I get a reply. (unread, journal posted, see below) Edit: After reading this journal, I sent her an actual email: Email Here Edit: She replied promptly. -Email Response- Edit: I got Alex's refund in the mail today. =] Feel free to remove him! Thank you Alex! Edit: She moved accounts again, to Muffinbutton. Be sure to watch out for that account as well.
  4. Jul. 24th, 2011 at 12:32 PM animewolfchick I TOLD MYSELF THAT I WOULDNT NEED TO DO THIS BUT I CANT LET THIS GO ON. DO NOT Commission http://www.furaffinity.net/user/stellary OR the collab account http://www.furaffinity.net/user/spaceinvaders!! Stellary is RUDE and UNFAIR in the way she accepts and produces commissions. What i witnessed when i attempted to commission her through spaceinvaders. (please read the dates! 1. as soon as i gained interest (over a month ago) i got this: http://i52.tinypic.com/m90ymd.png so i thought, fair enough they want to be payed right away and paid up. (since they were coming out twice a week at this point i figured id get mine within 1-2 weeks as there wasnt many before me in the que) 2. i sent a note to stellary's account to inform her i noted her on spaceinvaders as the note had not been read in a few days and i wanted to contact her before she started. i asked if it was okay to get a sketch WIP before she continued. her responce: http://i56.tinypic.com/wgq7oj.png which was a tad snappy but i left it be. 3. since then i hadnt seen a sketch WIP even though she claimed to have sketched MOST of them out here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2477103/ (which was posted a month ago) 4. LAST WEEK after reading this (after it was posted on her page recently): http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/441258.html in an attempt to just see what was happening with my commission (with no intent to rush because i understand people get busy) i kindly asked for an update.( http://i51.tinypic.com/j93ss2.png ) Alex (stellarys partner) then responded very rudely to me: http://i51.tinypic.com/2aj409c.png 5. i decided enough is enough! so i asked nicely for a refund. in which alex agreed to do. i then got THIS from stellary: http://i54.tinypic.com/o86l5k.png 6. i no longer responded and received a refund shortly after. Stellary on artists beware before: http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/441258.html <-- someone experianced another problem with her. id also like to mention within this time space until earlier today stellary has completed: 1 Trade 3 Requests 3 Personal Art Peices 1 Commission AND tried to take on MORE commissions: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2550809/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6165025 She is also trying to take donations: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2556699/ If you agree that all this should NOT be happening to commissioners PLEASE spread the word! EDIT: Alex Has Apologized for the rude comment she personally sent me which is of-corse accepted.
