WHEN: December 2017 — present (May 2018) EXPLAIN: I ordered two pixel chibis totaling 44 USD. They have not been delivered. The artist did not show me even a WIP until FIVE MONTHS after I ordered and since then has been silent. Unwilling to let them drag me past the 6-month PayPal deadline, I initiated a chargeback. If the artist is willing to complete the pieces later and sends me the final product, I will close the case, or, if they wait much longer to finish it, they can have the money back. I will even cover the extra $20 USD fee that PayPal fines the seller. I am Tythius on DeviantArt. (I have a Gyazo Pro account so all screenshots saved there are permanent.) TIMELINE: 1 December 2017: Purchased 2 pixel chibis for $22 USD each. (Proof 1.) Artist acknowledges on the same day. Payment is sent from my end through "goods and services." Artist confirms procedure of commission. (Proof 2. Proof 3.) The PayPal invoice might look unusual for some because this is the format that displays if you access the transaction records from the Resolution center. No further communication from artist until May 2018. 10 May 2018: Artist finally updates, but only with sketches. Artist requests correspondence in case I need any changes. (Proof 4.) I respond the same day with changes. That note remains unread at the time of this writing, 30 May 2018. (Proof 5. Proof 6.) 11 May 2018: Realizing that the 6-month protection deadline was ending at the end of May, I message the artist with the warning that I cannot wait past then for my own sake. This note, too, goes unread. (Proof 7.) 28 May 2018: Unwilling to risk any issues with a last-minute dispute opening and willing to close the case in the event the artist responds with a finished product, I open a claim with PayPal. (Proof 8.) 30 May 2018: Referring to Proof 8, there is no response from the artist yet to the PayPal claim. PERSONAL NOTE: Despite turning in a WIP, receiving only sketches after five months is, first of all, absurd. Second, the artist requests a response in regards to potential changes at the sketching stage and yet does not bother reading the response for 3 weeks afterwards. Had there been any significant changes I required, the artist would not have been able to get back to me in a timely manner with the completed pieces regardless. Finally, 6+ months for two chibis is an abysmally slow rate of progress.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/995648.html WHO: FA: Arklionspaw , Glitch- or Glitchworks Eka's Portal: Lumesa WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/glitchworks/ , http://www.furaffinity.net/user/glitch- , www.furaffinity.net/user/arklionspaw/ , https://aryion.com/g4/user/Lumesa WHAT: Was originally to be part of a group commission, but when the artist encountered many personal issues related to the group commission, I agreed to take two separate pictures instead. WHEN: Payment was sent on November 22nd, 2011. Since then, the artist has taken numerous on-demand commissions ahead of the individuals who commissioned them, as well as promise multiple times over the past six years to resume work on the backlog they have accumulated over the past years, with only a minuscule amount of commissions completed. PROOF: Figure 1: http://www.imagebam.com/image/11d019861793094 Figure 2: http://www.imagebam.com/image/4758c9861793104 Figure 3: http://www.imagebam.com/image/1644e3861793114 Figure 4: http://www.imagebam.com/image/96d8f2861794644 Figure 5: http://www.imagebam.com/image/a77ac1860648104 Figure 6: http://www.imagebam.com/image/089223860648134 Figure 7: http://www.imagebam.com/image/12f965860648144 Figure 8: http://www.imagebam.com/image/8e3dd1861801774 Figure 9: http://www.imagebam.com/image/b5b68a861793164 Figure 10: http://www.imagebam.com/image/962484861793134 Figure 11: http://www.imagebam.com/image/904713861793144 Explain: I'm at a loss as to why I did not put this up a long time ago. Back in 2011, this artist advertised a Thanksgiving commission special on their original FA page (Arklionspaw, Figure 1), in which commissioners could buy slots to have their characters featured in a group picture. After about fifteen people, myself included, had paid (Figures 2 and 3), the artist announced a delay due to numerous personal issues. Later on, the artist suggested that people take two pictures each instead of the group picture, as it would be easier to complete without all the real-life drama associated with the group picture (Figure 4). Back in 2016 or 2017, the artist stated that she would be working diligently because she had found a manager, and would stick to working on art according to a strict, full-time schedule. Since the original offer back in 2011, the artist has used numerous life events such as illnesses, family issues, and car crashes as grounds to push back these commissions in addition to asking for more commissions to help cover expenses; very few of these commissions have been delivered. While I do sympathize for events beyond the artist's control, these do not excuse her from delivering. As you can see from the list of blogs by the artist on Eka's Portal, I had to make THREE screencaps (Figures 5-7) to show just how many journals the artist made either taking on more and more commissions, or promising to finish the backlog shortly, all between 2012 and now. As mentioned previously, the commission account (Glitchworks) has not posted a completed commission in at least a few months. I even sent a note to the Eka's Portal account asking for confirmation that I was on the backlog, and that she had indeed received info on what I would like in lieu of the group picture, but I did not get any sort of reply (Figures 8 and 9). Last week I sent an email to their manager asking for either a definite deadline as to when my commissions will be done or a refund, since making people wait over six years for their commissions is beyond ridiculous. I received no reply. I followed up with a PM to their commission account on FA, which is ran by their manager (Figure 10), and as of the time I am writing this, it has not even been read (Figure 11).

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/995528.html This imgur album may be easier to follow, but I will copy the relevant information in the proper template as well. https://imgur.com/a/vqw5xcR WHO: The artist is named Fr0stbit3 on Furaffinity. WHERE: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/fr0stbit3/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26222681/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27231252/ WHAT: Digital art, solo character NSFW commission, offered by the artist in pre-posed slots. WHEN: Initial contact was February 3rd, 2018 when the commission was accepted. Payment details were provided on February 4th, and payment was also sent on February 4th. On March 19th, email communication began inquiring about the commission, and then a month's deadline for a refund was communicated and accepted. On April 20th, I opened a PayPal dispute to reinitiate contact. The refund was refused, and the dispute was elevated to a claim. On April 24th, the claim was resolved in the Buyer's (mine) favor. On May 1st, the Seller/Artist, Fr0stbit3, reopened the claim to appeal to PayPal. On May 4th, the appeal was denied by PayPal. Fr0stbit3 proceeded to post an unauthorized image of my character, using the title and description to insult and defame me. I decided to create an Artists Beware entry. EXPLAIN: This began when I asked for a pre-posed commission slot Fr0stbit3 was opening in February. The idea was a line of dragon characters in pre-made poses would be completed individually for the buyers and then posted in a group pic at the conclusion. https://imgur.com/m6Yru9V This is my initial comment on the submission page inquiring for a slot. Page is still available as of 5/4/2018. I inquired after a slot for the "Dragon Wall", pre-posed pictures for dragon characters to be lined up in a group picture. [NSFW link] https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26222681/ https://imgur.com/cm67HUZ Here is the note after the comment. I provided references and my paypal information, he replied with the price and his PayPal information. https://imgur.com/Qst1p6l As you can see by the date I paid the same day (with tip!). The payment has since been refunded after I filed a dispute, which the following screenshots will show. https://imgur.com/8Kje8Iz About a month and a half later, I checked Fr0stbit3's Furaffinity page to see if he'd made any progress on the Dragon Wall. When I tried to navigate to the page from my note inbox, I got the error "user has voluntarily disabled access to their userpage", which was a big red flag for me. He has since reactivated his page. Worried that an artist had taken my money and run, I tried using his paypal address to email him, and to my relief he responded the next day. He assured me he would be providing a refund as soon as he could, but couldn't due to issues in his personal life. https://imgur.com/LHNOaEr I expressed my sympathy and asked for a deadline for a refund, and he said it could be up to a month, but he'd try to get it to me earlier. After this, I had no contact with him for a month. https://imgur.com/fF6AtiY This image is read from bottom to top. After a month of no contact and no refund, I reinitiated contact via Paypal by opening a dispute. Paypal's first step of the dispute process is simply the Buyer (me) contacting the Seller (Fr0stbit3). I explained what had already happened and informed him I had opened a dispute for this reason. He responded with "I told you to be patient with me" while simultaneously denying he had received any previous email from me. After that I realized that he was not going to be willingly provide any refund to me, was providing no revised deadlines, so I escalated the dispute to a Claim in order to have the transaction refunded. https://imgur.com/qkgo9uV He proceeded to send me several messages on FA, urging me to check my email. I did, and saw nothing, until I thought to check the email address I use as my Paypal. He also seemed to be confusing me for someone else named "Matt". https://imgur.com/YKjhrvO I checked my alternate email and found this from him, finding out that he'd gone back on his promise of a refund and went ahead and completed the image. I found this surprising, as he'd never even mentioned the possibility of him actually completing the commission, he'd only spoken about refunds. I also found it surprising that rather than actually send me the completed image to complete the commission, he'd chosen to hold it hostage instead. https://imgur.com/yBjpVIW For organization and clarity's sake, I forwarded the email he sent to my own email address, that I'd used to initially contact him, forwarded it again to him and then reopened our email thread, so that he could easily see my prior messages and stop having me confused for whoever Matt is. https://imgur.com/gK4yCmt I used slightly sterner language in response to his decision to hold the image hostage rather than fulfill his end of the transaction. I made it clear that he had communicated to me that the image was not going to be completed, and that I had been waiting for a refund. At this point, I had no interest in the completed image, as this commission had proved to be an extremely frustrating experience. However, I was very much looking forward for this experience to be over, so I made it clear that if he wanted the dispute to be resolved, he could just send me the image and I'd call it even. He responded as you can see above, with a pixelated/censored version, insisted that he could not trust me, and that he would only send me the file after I dropped the dispute, reiterating it with two emails in a row, making sure to mention in both that I could not be trusted. I was honestly surprised to see that he had done the image, but he still had not sent it to me, only a blurred version, so his part of the transaction was still incomplete. https://imgur.com/WnHAltB I did my best to clarify my position and made it clear that the Paypal claim existed because he had failed to provide what I had paid for, and that if he fulfilled the transaction, the claim would be dropped. But he doubled down, refusing to provide the image, and also claiming he never provided refunds. https://imgur.com/qqWOPKn Despite my better judgement, I tried to make the situation crystal clear about how the ball was in his court, and that he could either let PayPal settle the dispute or provide the full image to satisfy the claim. I did not have much hope for the results, and I was tired of arguing, and made it clear that it was my final communication. https://imgur.com/GTO96pO He then proceeded to be far more public, filling my shoutbox with messages. I provided a shout back asking him not to contact me unless it was with the image or a refund, via Paypal or email. I then blocked his Furaffinity account. https://imgur.com/KwZcvIF PayPal resolved the dispute in my favor, and they forced the refund. I was content to drop this particularly frustrating experience and move on, but I then received another email from Fr0stbit3 informing me that he would be appealing the claim and providing screenshots to PayPal, and also threatened to write a Buyer Beware against me. I was not overly concerned, as the screenshots demonstrate several times that he refused to provide the image he was paid for. https://imgur.com/7AfpLsB A few days passed and the PayPal dispute was closed, again, in my favor. Fr0stbit3 responded by posting the image to his FA scrap gallery, which includes a depiction of my character and my character's name, with the title "Scumbag Wall", claiming I had cheated him. I reported him on FA for harassment. At this point, the situation has concluded. I have received my refund and am happy to leave it at that, though I hope the submission he posted is taken down after my ticket is reviewed on FA. I hope this Artist Beware entry will help provide context for this transaction and help warn other commissioners from attempting to do business with this individual. PROOF: All screencaptures are in the following Imgur album, as shown above: https://imgur.com/a/vqw5xcR Update: At this time the submission he was using to defame me has been taken down and his FA has been suspended, along with another user who was posting death threats to my shout page. Their suspensions lasted about two days.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/995064.html Where: OneFurAll Studios - www.onefurall.com What: A full fursuit commission including head, bodysuit, paws and additional set of feetpaws. In addition, a design sketch for the fursuit. When: Payment in May 2014 — issues ongoing Explain: The issues I have experienced with OneFurAll (OFA) are twofold: an inability to manage expectations and meet contractual obligations, and lack of communication. April 2014 saw conversations with OFA regarding a commission, with estimate of an “18-24+ month queue” given. In May, I indicated my willingness to commission, and asked for confirmation of the wait time; I was told that there would be a more concrete “18-24 month wait. Our wait times shift minimally…” (see email 1); this was the final estimate given prior to payment, and with the qualifier of minimal shift, suggested that I could reasonably expect the fursuit to be completed at, or close to, 18-24 months. No further communication was made at this stage regarding the fursuit, only payment. Paid in-full via an invoice from OneFurAll in May 2014 (see Paypal Invoice). On 24th June 2015, in reply to an email from me, OFA restated the timeline to build to be "around the 24 month mark from your deposit" (see email 2). In September 2016, replying to another email from me, they stated it would be "a few more months" before work started, but that it was a good time to take measurements, which I supplied; while the time estimate had run-over, I expected work to start soon so chose not to raise a dispute. In June 2017, following my enquiry as to the expected timeframe, OFA said it would be "later this year when we'd be able to fit your character in" (see email 3). My reply to this stated that I would consider the end of the year to be an “agreement between us that this deadline will be met; if further events beyond your control mean the ‘suit won’t be finished by this estimate, please can you inform me as soon as you become aware of this?” I wished to make clear that I considered the end of 2017 a hard deadline. In January 2018, in reply to my chase email, they stated they still had not reached my position in the queue (see email 4). I therefore began the process of cancelling my commission. I requested a full refund, due to the unreasonable and excessive degree by which the build estimate had been missed (almost 2 years), and the poor communication received. I cited a clause I was sent in their Terms of Service during my preliminary discussions, which stated 30% of the commission price would be forfeit except in “extreme cases” (see TOS). I considered my case “extreme” due to time the process had overshot by, the exceptional and unforeseeable circumstances the studio had claimed to be going through which slowed production, and my communication issues. In response, OFA outlined that they would not offer me a full refund and said that the entire fursuit building industry has adopted a firm non-refundable clause, and also apologized for the communication issues I had experienced. They offered the opportunity to keep my fursuit in the queue (see email 5), with a promise to improve communication, which I refused. When they replied in February, they stated that their policy has “always been that we never contractually promise a start date” and that “we are still technically at 24+ months” (see email 6). They went on to say that their non-refundable clause was "firm" and they would not refund me in full; they said the “extreme circumstances” condition was intended to allow them to be sympathetic to someone who found themselves “in a genuine state of need...” citing customers who had encountered “…dire life circumstances and we helped as we could”. They found it “problematic” that I was referring to this term, and they felt that I had attempted to “reinterpret that outdated phrase against us” (see email 6 cont.). They went on to say in their February email that they would "no longer offer waiving that clause for any reason", and offered to refund my payment beyond the 30% refund penalty in 3 instalments (see email 6 cont.). I did not take this offer as I felt it unjust that they should retain the 30% penalty, and because I paid the entire commission price up-front and would feel more confident receiving a refund as one payment. They also restated that non-refundable percentages are a prevalent feature across the fursuit building industry and cited the TOS of 7 well-known makers (see email 6 cont.). Email discussion continued over refund amount, with little progress. Given the log-jam on both sides, I emailed OFA on 7th February 2018 offering a compromise: OFA get 10% retention on the full commission price (see email 7). Apart from acknowledging receipt of this on 5th March, I have yet to receive a substantial response despite regular chase emails. It now appears the process has broken down, and I am unlikely to receive any refund soon due to our lack of ability to agree over this dispute and the lack of response from OFA. As resolution to this issue, I would like OFA to issue a full refund. I do not believe they have upheld their contractual obligations to me, nor do I feel they have provided the level of service one would expect from a company I have paid almost $3000 to. I feel that attempting to withhold a 30% penalty constitutes an unfair term of contract given they have not indicated that they have spent anything on or worked towards my commission, and are likely to make up the entire amount very quickly in new commissions. In addition, I feel the application of a ‘no full refunds’ policy should have common-sense boundaries with protections for the customer laid out explicitly on the face of the contract. I can understand a refund penalty if a commissioner pulls-out within the given timeframe and simply does not wish to continue the process. However, taking $2950 up-front, providing a timeframe estimate and then missing this by two years should surely warrant the return of the full amount paid, especially when the customer is told that their wait will be 18-24 months with a “minimal” shift of wait times. I do not claim to know how other makers apply their no-refunds clauses, though if it is an industry-wide practice to do this, I feel it’s a sad reflection on how we are doing business with eachother. I regret that it has come to a point where I have needed to post this; as I have outlined to OFA, I sympathise with their position, the studio having been through many unexpected events of some gravity over the past few years. However, I cannot recommend the studio based on my experience, having been left disappointed with ephemeral time estimates and difficult communication on many occasions. WHEN: July 2017 — present (May 2018) EXPLAIN: I ordered a 270 USD custom with a back view and extras from this artist back in July 2017. It has not been delivered. The artist has been silent for months and inactive on all known social media. I am Tythius on DeviantArt. (I have a Gyazo Pro account so all screenshots saved there are permanent.) TIMELINE: 13 July 2017: Purchased custom adopt commission through an auction for 270 USD. (Proof 1.) 13 July 2017: Artist confirmed order and sent invoice. Invoice paid the same day. Artist acknowledges payment. (Proof 2. Proof 3. Proof 4.) July 2017 - September 2017: I receive no updates despite exchanging more correspondence about the design specifics. Up to 25 July 2017, we made small talk and discussed design details. After that point, nothing until September. (Proof 5.) This screenshot is filtered for notes sent from BabushkaVatman and thus does not show unread or read status. During this period of silence between July and September, the artist continues outputting adopts and YCH sales. 19 September 2017: I update the artist's reference links to a neater folder. (Proof 6.) The artist replies, but there is still no visual WIP update. September 2017 - November 2017: No further updates. Artist continues uploading adopts and YCH sales. 26 November 2017: There is still no update. I request an update or, alternatively, a refund. The artist finally shows a visual WIP, but cannot provide a refund at the moment. (Proof 7. Proof 8. Proof 9.) 27 November 2017 - 1 December 2017: The artist seems genuinely apologetic during our conversation. I relent and agree to wait for the finished product. This is a mistake. (Proof 10. Proof 11. Proof 12.) 12 January 2018: There has been no contact since December. I ask again for an update. (Proof 13.) 22 January 2018: The artist posts another completed adopt. 22 January 2018: The artist replies with an update message. No visual updates. This is the last time this artist has contacted me since. (Proof 14.) 24 January 2018: The artist posts another completed adopt. 4 February 2018: The artist posts another completed adopt. This is the latest activity on the DA page. But not the Tumblr page. Will detail below. 25 February 2018: I ask for another update. (Proof 15.) No response. Unread. (Proof 16. [Bottom note.]) March 2018: While the artist remains inactive and unresponsive on DA, the Tumblr page notes a recently liked post from another user. (Proof 17. [NSFW has been blurred out. Safe to click.]) This recently liked post was made on 3 March 2018. The artist has been able to access the internet sometime after 3 March 2018. (A more thorough search through recent likes on the Tumblr page show liked posts from as recent as 2 April 2018. I did not notice this until recently, but will add it chronologically for easier following. 12 March 2018: I ask for another update. No response. Unread. (Proof 18. Proof 19. [Middle note.]) 29 March 2018: I leave a comment on the original deviation of the custom sale. No response. (Proof 20.) 31 March 2018: I message the artist on DA again. (Proof 21. Proof 22. [Top note.]) Unread. 3 May 2018: I leave the artist a courtesy message on the artist's DA profile stating my intentions to write a PSA on Artists Beware. (Proof 23.) There is still no response. I also have not seen any of the YCH sales completed and posted, but cannot verify that they were never done. Given the circumstances, I am aware that if the artist's main income is through art, then regular output of sales and adopts is to be expected while the artist works on a commission. This was never the problem. The problem was the lack of communication and continued lack of communication. As it stands, I have no finished product and the artist either refuses to get in touch or has neglected to for whatever reason. The real lesson here is to never let an artist drag you past PayPal's 6-month buyer protection period, regardless of their reasoning, unless they have solid communication and steady visual updates. Don't make my mistake. 12 May 2018: I managed to open a dispute with PayPal through their phone line. 17 May 2018: PayPal opens the case and awaits a response from the artist. The artist has 10 days to respond. (Proof 24.) 28 May 2018: The artist never responded to PayPal's resolution center e-mail despite recent activity on DeviantArt and the case is closed in my favor. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/994679.html Name: BigBlueDragon Location: This took place during Furrydelphia 2017 Website: http://www.bigblueraptor.com/2017/08/04/furrydelphia/ Commission Type: My commission was a digital headshot led badge of my fursona. Basic Overview: I commissioned BigBlueDragon on August 19th 2017 at Furrydelphia in the Dealers Den. The commission was of an led headshot badge of my fursona and the expected date to be finished was September 4th. My badge was fully completed February 18th 2018, and the last date of contact I had with BigBlueDragon was on March 11th 2018. (Hence this post) The Detailed Answer: August 19th 2017: Commissioned the artist in the dealers den at Furrydelphia and paid $21.20 in cash, upfront. Was informed that the commission wouldn’t take long to finish, and I requested a finish date for September 4th. I was informed that the artist worked from Artnab.net and that all updates and communication could easily be done through that website. Pictures of my fursona were taken from my badge before I left the table. August 21st 2017: Furrydelphia ended and I uploaded a brief description of my fursona as well as corresponding images on Artnab. August 30th 2017: Posted my name and address through Artnab. September 16th 2017: BigBlueDragon responds and has a sketch of my sona after the requested due date of my commission, communication becomes fairly consistent through the month of September and October and then becomes spotty in November. December 2nd, 2017: I reach out to BigBlueDragon using the email provided through Artnab and communication slows down but is still consistent. Progress on the commission continues through email due to difficulties through Artnab. By the middle of January the digital headshot has been finished. February 1st 2018: I reached back out to see the progress on my commission and received an email on the 18th with an image of my completed commission, printed, cut, laminated, and led, all done. I ask when to expect her within the mail, and I receive no response. March 3rd 2018: I email BigBlueDragon about an update about my badge being mailed. I receive a response on March 11th asking for my address again. I respond with my name and address hoping for my badge to arrive in the mail in about a week. March 26th 2018: I reach out again to BigBlueDragon about my badge and express my concern as the badge has been completed, and yet hasn’t been mailed out. At this point in time it has taken over 7 months to complete. April 26th 2018: I sent out another email to BigBlueDragon asking about an update on my badge being sent out. I have yet to receive a response. It has been 8 months and 3 weeks since this badge was commissioned, and it has been 8 weeks since I last had contact with BigBlueDragon. I have even tried to reach out through the website which they and their partner co-run, and haven’t gotten a response to that either. I believe my timeline and images provide a good chunk of information about the main problem, communication issues. In the beginning things were great through Artnab, I was posting stuff, I could see that they were looking at my posts and responding to it. I believe the issue in communication started when my references for my fursona seemed to be overlooked. The process dramatically slowed down as I had to point out issues one at a time and work them out until it met my approval. Once Artnab was giving us trouble, we switched over to email where our communication became slowed down further to hearing from BigBlueDragon after a few weeks at a time. Currently, the main source of frustration is that my badge has been completed, and I have yet to receive it. Artnab Sept 16th update Artnab Sept 21st Artnab Sept 27th Artnab Sept 29th Artnab Oct 4th Artnab Oct 11th Artnab Nov 7th Headshot reference on artnab and Oct 2nd reference reposted Fullbody reference on artnab Reference for the cheek mark on artnab Email 2 Completed Headshot (Scroll down to see it in the email) Email 1 showing what I wanted visually when I couldn't describe it with words alone Email 1 showing what I wanted visually when I couldn't describe it with words alone My finished badge, image received through email Feb 18th

They messaged me with two that they were selling, one at 150$ and the other at 100$. I thought this was fine and wanted to buy them both. They originally asked me to send as Friends and family, but I said I was uncomfortable with that and offered to pay the fees for them. They sent me an invoice, which I was comfortable with because invoices are more secure. They gave me the image files and all was fine after. About a month in, I was contacted by a user, who I won’t mention, stating that their longthing looked eerily similar to one of mine. I agreed and sent Glider a note about it. (I later learned Glider isn’t as active where I contacted them, so that’s not an issue). I then contacted Guro and they stated it was a custom. I was still very wary, but I accepted it and just kept things quiet while I did some research. Things got busy, IRL, so I dropped the thing to take care of my life. Glider posted a journal to FA today, April 11th, 2018. And stated there was a tracing issue. I asked in the thread, for someone to note me the name of the user. I was noted, by SEVERAL people, that it was guro-boy. This prompted me to message glider, who was active on the site, for confirmation. They confirmed my suspicions and stated I was sold two altered long things. As of currently, I have filed a dispute asking for them to VERIFY the legitimacy of these longthings, but I will be escalating it to an immediate claim. PROOF: Glider’s journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8690922 (http://archive.is/utgJN) The Two longthings I was sold: https://sta.sh/21sds6or442j?edit=1 Conversation for original purchase: https://sta.sh/017r9nhrw0el Paypal proof: https://sta.sh/0amkxon9kd9 Second PM asking about legitimacy: https://sta.sh/01jzv5os7nd5 PM to glider: https://sta.sh/01x7uafbrotp Folder with proofs: https://sta.sh/210pqzzkxepp?edit=1 Update: They have contacted me via email, and offered a refund on a payment plan after I escalated the dispute to a claim. https://sta.sh/01kh1arkw3ms My reply and theirs: https://sta.sh/022fhs2g4eou They have NOT refunded me anything yet. Despite this conversation happening this morning Update 4/21/2018: They have contacted me via email and offered me the partial refund via. Together, we have decided that I will deny the refund so the case can be reviewed and the date extended in order to get a full refund of the 258$. I felt this was the best course of action, since the date they originally requested for the second payment was so close. Updated: PayPal closed the case, not in my favor, and now I’m out the 258$. :,) So there’s nothing I can do, except hope that Guro actual refunds me, since I have no ground to stand on anymore. Update (5/1/2018): Paypal has closed the case, again, against my favor. I contacted Guro boy. They replied saying they needed to check if their bank wouldn't frekk out. Then proceed to tell me that they WOULD refund it. Here we are. Almost a week past the actual date they said they'd have the full amount. Nothing. I'm taking this as a loss. I am going to see if my bank will do anything. I am doubtful, but I can at least hope. https://sta.sh/0bnt5rwp6b2 https://sta.sh/0wzpx7cx0gc 5/19/2018 My bank has denied the claim to reverse the charge. Their reason is that paypal stated that I authorized the transaction. They found the payment to be valid. So, I've filed a complaint with the BBB, but at this point, there's nothing I can do. https://sta.sh/0k1iahz5sle https://sta.sh/018o63e5htu8 (BBB case) Guro has been seen trying to commission Glider, despite not refunding me the amount. https://prnt.sc/jmayyx (Archive link: http://archive.is/ynH7z ) 5/26/2018: It looks like Guro-boy has migrated to making off-brands of the closed species he was banned from. https://toyhou.se/~forums/5867.service-reviews/63052.psa-artist-beware-guro-boy-updated-5-24-?page=8#post-1493872 http://archive.is/uruXC Second update: Guro has now blocked me from his social media platforms, which leaves me no way to contact him. It confirms that he was the one that made these fake longthings, and not this "darlingdoq" account he claimed sold him these. https://sta.sh/0hdfdn9kpor Third update: And ladies and gents, I have payment part 1 of 2 from Guro-boy. https://sta.sh/014i8wjqluw5 https://sta.sh/0gbcxkc9wk Update 6/3: New accounts added to the list of accounts. ** 6/20/2018: A rep from paypal called me today. She resolved my claim and issued a credit for thew full 258$ to my account. It turns out, there was a large misunderstanding on paypal's part and my correct channel through the BBB resolved this. I issued a refund to Guro-boy for the 125$ they gave me. I am not interested in keeping money that is not mine. I am considering this resolved. Note: Cleaned up the HTML coding.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/992520.html Time: 2018-04-21 08:47 Subject: Buyer beware: lemonbrat Text: Time: 2018-03-31 05:44 Subject: Buyer beware : lemonbrat Text: Where:Lemonbrat.com What:digital ref sheet When: 2/2/18- 3/30/18 I commissioned lemonbrat to make a ref sheet of a character that was supposed to only take two weeks max. Original contact was a little slow as expected, but he was friendly, and we exchanged several emails with me detailing what i wanted, and him giving me the price, and his paypal. Once i payed him i never heard from hom again about its progress, even after i sent 4 different emails, from two email accounts he never responded. I waited a full month, twice the agreed apon dead line before i went to paypal issuing a charge back, with an paypal message directly too him urging a response. Between the ten day deadline paypal gave him, i finally got a response on my email, with no mention of the chargeback issued, and him giving a baseline ref sheet that looked like a scrap character with minor changes, and was still nothing like what i asked. It was three completely different colors, had horns, and spikes I didn’t ask for, and the color pattern i wanted was nonexistent. I replied saying as much, and never hear from him again, not even after the paypal deadline was up, and i was refunded the money by paypal not him. http://imgur.com/a/iykouR8

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/992137.html WHO: Uriko44 WHERE: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/uriko44/ WHAT: Traditional Badge with Holographic Overlay https://www.dropbox.com/s/g231lznmaj02hfi/pe.png?dl=0 Finished Product before lamination WHEN: March 30th - April 19th EXPLAIN: Around March 30th Uriko44 opened for $20 USD Traditional Chibi Badges with optional holographic overlay. Myself (and a friend of mine) bought the chibi plushie badges. With quick excitement the arrangement was made and everything went fine. Payment: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f449aproox3qhc0/%23payment.png?dl=0 My email is unhidden because it is public knowledge. I do not mind it being there. I do not have the details of the transaction occurring due to a personal issue and deleting everything. However, I did receive a digital copy of my work completed before that and had approved the image as the image itself is not an issue. In fact, I deeply love the image (link 1). Once I received the badge in the mail I was to preoccupied with personal life so it took me a few days to be able to actually look it over. At this time I hadn't been online and disabled my main account to keep myself from going on and stressing myself. I noticed there were two (animal) hairs in the lamination. One near the front-most ear and on her dress (link 2 and link 3). So, I logged into my OLD account and proceeded to message them at my earliest convenience that I have received the badge but displeased with the fact there was two hairs inside my badge that were noticeable to the point of unable to enjoy my badge (link 4). They asked to see the images which I happily obliged. An issue occurred and imgur didn't want to link the two images together to be sent. There I sent them separately for them to be able to see (link 5). They acknowledge the first hair and apologized for it. However, what next threw me for a loop. They only offered a $4 USD refund or a $5 OFF next commission purchase. I was shocked and a bit almost upset as I didn't want a refund or a discount. Just wanted my badge fixed (link 6). I sent another image with the second hair with a zoom (link 7). So, understanding that markers cost money I offered with a bit more of a discount to have them just re-draw the image or if they could re-do the lamination. I wasn't expecting anything free just a bit more in the way of compensation for artist error this can be seen in link 6 of our discussion. Instead they tell me that they cannot offer more and I have the scanned version and just to print it out myself and links of this discussion can be seen in link 6 and link 7 as well. I don't own a printer and if I printed it out I would have to pay for it via a store. I explained to them that not only would it cost me money to print it out but to laminate it. As well I wouldn't be able to get the holographic version as I do not have the means to do so. That a $4 refund was not enough for damages made to my card. As well the quality of a print out version was not what I paid $22 dollars for. I made it a note that I feel this is not fair to me (link 8). Their reply was more that beware worthy on my end. They told me I have the artwork (ruined by animal hair, mind you) and the digital file. That my $22 paid was enough to cover that and to be happy as it was a good deal. As well they just blew me off and says just not to work with them again. They also made a comment of "feel free to do the work I had to do to find the overlay and make the work to your own standards" (link 8). I was devastated and with that attitude I felt they were not going to give me any sort of compensation. Luckily, I was able to go to paypal and force a partial refund of $8 USD as my friend told me I should have pushed for half all I wanted was my picture redone. This was never about the money and in fact I offered more just to have it fixed properly. I commissioned Lost-Paw on Furaffinity in April of 2017 and have yet to receive my commission. I’ve followed up on its progress numerous times and they’ve told me that the commission is completed but they’ve yet to send it. They even re-did it this year since they were unhappy with the first version and I have seen a WIP of the second version but still no finished piece. Regardless, I’m beginning to doubt that it’s actually finished as they’ve stated. To combat any questions which may arise, no I did not get the partial refund. The point of this beware is on my 1-Year wait and the fact that I have still yet to receive what I paid for. Nothing more, nothing less. Proof: Screenshots here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/grrcvd6vgpb33q0/AABoPausNQFnyXEX5Zhahn8Ja?dl=0 I’ll update the screenshots and the post depending on how things progress.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/991456.html Who: Fuzzworks Fursuits/Darby Deer Where: Facebook. You can view there very packed trello here: https://trello.com/b/c0ua8utY/fursuits What: a pair of fursuit feet When: First payment was September 30th, 2016 and I am still experiencing issues to this day. Explanation: I ordered a pair of feet from Fuzzworks. Its been damn near impossible to get a hold of them. They also jam pack their schedule and do a lot of trades with others and constantly travel to cons. After poking Darby a few times I made a beware on Facebook, which turned into a storm of white knights and Darby asking me to remove the post. I did, hoping I would finally get some process on my feet and nothing. I then asked Darby to make the feet for Furnal Equinox and then I can just pick them up there from her to make things easier on her part. I also ordered a Bandana from her, which she never shipped and I had to pick up from FE as well. I'm still currently waiting on a refund and it's been over 2 weeks since she said she would refund me. Fuzzworks has a history of bad customer service and not giving their clients updates. People were telling me its normal to wait almost a year for products from them or no communication. Do not commission these people. They are constantly asking for trades too, which they don't even have time to do with how stacked they are with commissions. They also made a post once they offered the refund that I "canceled" my slot. Proof: here is the paypal transaction: and here is the conversation I had with Darby along with the post she made regarding the canceled slot. and thats that. I'm still waiting for a refund and she hasn't replied to me yet either.

EXPLAIN: i commissioned them october 11th for an animated pixel icon. they responded to my request approving my commission and letting me know they set up the widget for me to pay (initial conversation - https://sta.sh/012cq1844cnp) (proof of payment - https://sta.sh/01voj3nv3v84) because i had seen the vast amount of people asking before me, and as an animator myself i knew an icon of the sort would take time, i wasnt very concerned about the wait for a while. around january/february i wondered about it but didn’t think much. however, what i noted was that if they were working on all of the commissions owed before me, surely around this time mine should be done. and i watch both their main and side accounts on da, and i could see this wasnt the case. a lot of their recent art is either gift art or art for themself. i figured if they had such a big backlog, they shouldnt be doing much else besides their commissions. i questioned them about it here (https://sta.sh/02huower20g) and i received no response. after i commented they changed their taglines to say they were "slow and dead", and they stopped posting for a few days. however, i glanced at their favorites and noticed that while they werent posting, they were still online, because one of their recent favorites was posted after the supposed hiatus. i asked another commissioner about them and learned that they seem to have become overwhelmed by the workload they have. its hard for me to feel bad for them, as they shouldnt have taken 34 commissions in one day (this isnt an exaggeration, i started a chart to see just how much work they had and how much money they owe and here it is https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DIvkpo3SrVCKU_2vps8yA3v39Yu62vjwB2BUzjhHcyE/edit?usp=sharing), and while it would be uncomfortable to have to admit to having little to no progress on my commission, id greatly prefer it to being blatantly ignored like this. i know im not the only one dealing with this issue with them. im asking for a refund tonight but i dont expect a response, and judging from the other commissioners experience, i doubt ill get my money back even if i do get a response. ive never done something like this before, i hope i didnt do anything wrong here i just want it to be known that exitoricanqueen seems to have a lack of communication and lack of priority for owed art. update: this was orginally written march 29th. it is now april 11th, and i have asked about a refund 3 times now, on the 29th (https://sta.sh/0286sl77e5xj), 3rd (https://sta.sh/01deygrow1lu), and today, the 11th (https://sta.sh/063uojq9adm). i have received no response despite exitoricanbean being clearly active, posting art and talking on their page. in my sent folder the note is shown to be unread, which means that it was either set to be that way or they just never bothered to read it in the first place. all screencaps here: https://sta.sh/2c1yt75xddh update: finished the backlog chart. this is (almost, at least everything i could find on their commissions journal) every commission they have taken from october 1st 2017 onwards, and the costs, and which are finished or not https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DIvkpo3SrVCKU_2vps8yA3v39Yu62vjwB2BUzjhHcyE/edit?usp=sharing update 2: on april 20th i noted them again here (https://sta.sh/01bf6t8a9xyz). after a week of silence exitorican began posting again on both their main and alt accounts, but have still continued to blatantly ignore me. im running out of hope for this because it truly seems like they just dont care about what theyve done. all of my notes are unread (https://sta.sh/0iuwhutaa11). i have contacted this person 6 times now and there is no logical explanation for them to have not seen my messages. they are ignoring me and i genuinely dont know what to do. im considering noting again and telling them ill post this to my deviantart if they dont respond but at this point im losing hope.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/989740.html This is a mod repost as the original by @MystWuff has been deleted. MOD COMMENT: Please keep the comments focused on the beware itself. How/why the post was originally deleted is NOT the topic of this post. WHAT: Commissioned Shaynox Studios for a pair of fursuit pants and outdoor feetpaws. WHEN: Around Late August 2017 Shaynox studios posted on Facebook that they were open for commissions for both fursuits and fursuit parts. They posted examples of their works. And I contacted shay telling her I was interested in commissioning her for a pair of fursuit pants and feet paws. On September 12th 2017 I recieved an invoice and paid $325.00 USD for the commission and she added me to her qeue on her Trello. She stated she could ship the completed to commission or pick it up from her table at the dealers den at Furnal equinox 2018. The original completion date was to be February 2018 before furnal Equinox (march 15-18) EXPLAIN: in January 2018 I began contacting shay regarding updates if work had begun on my commission. She said she began working on my feet paws. Then in early Feburary I again contacted her for updates and to ask if they would be completed in time for furnal Equinox. She said they would be ready and available for pick up at her table Saturday March 17th in the dealers den. On March 17th 2018 I arrived at Furnal Equinox and messaged shay to ask if I could pick up my fursuit parts. She contacted me saying she had left them in her room and would have to got get them around 12 pm. After 12pm me and my finance went to her table at the dealers den and then she told me in person that she had forgotten my pants and feetpaws at home. But she was going to send her husband back home to pick them up. And that they will be here to pick up the next day (Sunday March 18) On March 18th I again spoke to shay at her table at the dealers den. She said her husband did not pick up my pants and feetpaws. She offered to ship them to me with no cost as soon as she returned home from the convention, and offered to make me a pair of handpaws for the inconveniences. She took down my shipping information in her laptop. I had received no further messages from shay since we spoke on March 18th at Furnal Equinox. On March 25th her husband posted to her Facebook requesting that her clients contact him as shay had a mental breakdown. I spoke with her husband and he said I had the choice of a refund or to ship my item. I requested that I would like my item to be shipped. He said he would look into shipping it. Since I last spoke with Shay's husband. I have made efforts to contact both with no reply. The last message I sent to both her husband and shay said the same thing and my concerns. They both have been online and active on Facebook since we last communicated but they do not respond to any of my messages. To this day,I had never seen any pictures or proof that my suit parts had been made. The last few months there has been minimal communication. I had been very patient and understanding. But have become very frustrated, Not knowing where my money went or if I'll even recieved what I paid for. I feel like I've been played around with, and there has been a complete lack of care about client. I noticed other commissioners were posting to her Facebook requesting updates due to her lack of communication. This is a Beware for those looking to commission fursuits/parts from Shaynox studios. I will update if I receive any further communication, but I won't hold my breath on a response. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/989961.html WHO: Hornedfreak @ Furaffinity & Tumblr WHERE: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/hornedfreak/ http://hornedfreak.tumblr.com WHAT: 2 Character sketch commission totaling $40 Note: I have commissioned Hornedfreak many times before, and never had I had such bad service from them before this. (I even have pieces that were paid for after this and completed.) WHEN: About 2 years ago, contacted via Tumblr for opening of their sketch commissions. Unfortunately I cannot find the original tumblr post but I do have a screenshot of the replies sent (Tumblr doesn't have timestamps for them for whatever reason.) PROOF: Number 1 in screencap. EXPLAIN: In 2016 I ordered a 2 character sketch from Hornedfreak totally $40. Payment was sent via Paypal on September 3rd 2015 PROOF: Number 2 in screencap. In March 2016 I asked for the characters to be changed, since they had not even shown me a sketch, as I had changed my idea. (they said they had a sketch of a sketch but what even is that?) PROOF: Number 3 in screencap. Also note in Feb 2016 I did order two sketches, with one of the characters being from the two character sketch ordered in March 2016. I later confused this one being finished as the two character sketch when it was not. PROOF: Number 4 in screencap. Said character from single sketch order: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17978096/ Proof they did finish the single character (from their trello) finished in June: Screencap Number 5 Also on June 30th They ask there was another sketch I ordered that had been changed to something else. PROOF: Screencap 6 This is where I mistake the single sketch linked above for the two character sketch from tumblr. But they say they will work on it after they clear everything. PROOF: Screencap 7. On July 28th 2016 I ordered another sketch, which was finished. PROOF: Screencap 8 On October 17th I ordered and IA from them which was finished. Meanwhile during this they never updated me on the tumblr sketch commission, but continued to take in new commissions. On Sept 2nd 2017 I sent them a note about my sketch, which was read but never replied to. In it I describe that if they didnt want to do the old sketch (I still thought it was one character missing at the time, so my bad!) that they could just sketch a single different character and all would be good. I did say feel free to ignore the request though, not the note! PROOF: Screencap 9 No contact from them after that until I called them out about it taking so long on their front page, to which they sent me a rather rude and unprofessional note accusing me of not reading their journal. (I always make sure to read journals about delayed commissions if I am one of the commissioners. And then accusing me of not sending her a note months before and ignoring it. PROOF: Screencap 10. They then noted me again saying that they did find the note they had ignored months before, which was before their journal they linked me. Here I also call them out for doing tons of personal art and things on Tumblr which they refute saying it's only a few a month, which by looking at their Tumblr is a lie. PROOF: Screencap 11 And that is the last I have heard from them. It is now MARCH 2018 and my sketch commission was ordered back in September of 2015. Since then they have taken on even more art via Tumblr, but their fA hasn't been updated in months. My sketch commission isn't even listed on their trello anymore. I am just frustrated at their lack of communication, being ignored, being lied to, and their lack of professionalism when they did not even complete the commission from 2015. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/988896.html This is a mod repost as the original by bootybich has been deleted. MOD COMMENT: Please keep the comments focused on the beware itself. How/why the post was originally deleted is NOT the topic of this post. WHO: Lost-Paw WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lost-paw WHAT: Two digital art commissions, one an upgrade of a previous sketch, totaling $300 WHEN: Mid-July '17 — Present EXPLAIN: Back in July I commissioned Lost-Paw for $300 worth of art, an entirely new piece as well an upgrade to a previous one I had gotten from them, with the promise from them that it would be completed immediately. I waited a week, and they said it would be done. Then a month later I heard it would be done by the end of August. In late September I asked for a refund and they said they would give me one, as over two months had passed at this point and I was entering school again. Since then I periodically checked in with them to see how it was going and heard things about them working on, but never answers that were too specific. They opened comms multiple times, and made promises that art would be completed but they've barely posted anything on their FA or Twitter since then. Now 8 months after my original comm they haven't read any of my messages in over a month, but are still active on Twitter. Additionally they seem to owe a good number of other people, and have no publicly posted queue anywhere to track just how many it is. As it's been over 180 days I'm no longer protected by PayPal or eligible for a chargeback, so I'm left without options. PROOF: Full conversation history (Some censored NSFW art): https://imgur.com/a/aAaH7 Edit 3/27/2018: Shortly after this post was made the artist contacted this user and sorted the issue out with them, being extremely apologetic about it and quickly issuing a refund for the full $300.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/987914.html WHO: Lakrust WHERE: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/lakrust/ WHAT: Animated icon WHEN: Early October 2017 EXPLAIN: I commissioned Lakrust for an animated icon, and paid them, in full up front in october 2017, despite wanting to pay half first then half later. Several months later I messaged her and asked about my commission, she said she hadn't forgot me and was still working on it. I mentioned that she was taking commissions and she said its her main job, that she needs the money. Two months later I mentioned that people were saying I should post her to AB, no reply. So here I am posting her to AB. PROOF: https://i.imgur.com/bDtYoEa.png https://i.imgur.com/pGrc6e5.png https://i.imgur.com/gcvegXn.png https://i.imgur.com/pw3XkIf.png Additional details: I accused her of being a con artist, but after cooling down, and some suggestions from others I think I don't have the evidence for such a claim right now, and would like to apologize for getting ahead of myself. I'm communicating with the artist and hoping for a resolution that works for everyone. AD2: Artist disappeared again. No word on a refund or completion dates. I got responses when emailing the artist when she didn't know who I was, but as soon as I mentioned who I was, complete silence. I'm back to thinking my original thought of this being a scam was correct. Disappearing immediately after finding out I can't get a paypal refund seems pretty bad.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/987076.html Hello, this is for a friend of mine due to them lacking in English / spelling. WHO: Rarensk over on DeviantArt / https://picarto.tv/wolfteeths on picarto / rarensk on Insagram https://www.instagram.com/rarensk/ WHERE: This has happened on Deviant art, in the messaging system. Their Profile link; rarensk.deviantart.com/ (however they deleted / deactivated it). WHAT: It was a video, for a tutorial on how to shade. WHEN: On February 14th 2018 I have messaged Rarensk for a shading tutorial. I paid on the same day we talked about it and them agreeing to it. https://i.imgur.com/cumNNw3.png here's a screen shot saying a sent it. Here's also proof I paid for points for this commission and it going to them. https://i.imgur.com/8EV4kE8.png EXPLAIN: As stated above I talked to Rarensk on the 14th of February about getting a shading tutorial that was a video. They agreed upon it. https://i.imgur.com/cumNNw3.png Also paying for it. A week goes by and nothing yet. So I message them again. I seen a journal that they were leaving DA (It's not up anymore I tried to find it) so I quickly asked about it, and they replied with wanting to give a refund. I was upset about this, and got points for nothing basically. https://i.imgur.com/m2gPC5O.png So I expressed that I was upset about it etc. https://i.imgur.com/KQVchz2.png Which I told them I was willing to wait longer if needed. They haven't replied so I messaged them again. https://i.imgur.com/yG6D6u6.png to which they reply https://i.imgur.com/unIAfc8.png and since they stated they'd message me soon as they were done with whatever they were doing (I knew they were streaming so I waited) after they were done they didn't reply back to me. So I messaged them once AGAIN. https://i.imgur.com/NnmRGjX.png they then tell me that the next time they do art they'll do the tutorial. PROOF: Here is everything in order if you'd like to read without my writing in between them. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/987533.html WHO: Adiago/Zero/Damien WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/adiago WHAT: Digital art WHEN: Paid for on December 17th, 2017 - current (No work completed on the piece at the time of writing this.) Explain: On December 17th, 2017, I purchased a piece of art from Adiago over voice in her Discord. The piece was supposed to be four other characters and myself. While I don't know how much the other people paid, I paid a lump sum of $195, which I know was the most out of the group. The money was for all of our characters to be in a Chinese New Years themed, cell shaded commission. Between purchasing my slot and writing this post, I have been blocked from all forms of communication by Adiago, and no WIPs or any updates have been given to me by her or any of her trusted contacts. The commission was added to her "To Do List" on February 1st, 2018. This is the only progress that has been made on it thus far. The date of writing this is March 14th, 2018. (Pictures below) A friend of mine went out of his way to contact Adiago directly, and the response I received in her Picarto stream was "tell Kat if he does a chargeback ill post him to artists beware. where thousands of people will see it." When someone in stream asked what this was about, she responded "someones trying to be a D-bag and if they do it ill ruin them and no one will ever draw for them again". These were posted publicly for all in her stream to see. (Pictures below) This is the first time I have ever decided to go through a charge back. I would have liked to work things out with the artist, but at this time the artist is refusing to speak with me. I have no way of contacting them myself, and at this point I just want to post this and be done with it. I am currently in the process of trying to get my money back, and writing this due to it being a bad experience. From my understanding, this is not the first time something like this has been written about the artist. I paid for work, the work was never finished, and now I want my money back. That's the short of it. Please note, all commission details were worked out in voice in Discord. Adiago and I had a good business relationship, and this is how most of our transactions took place. The only details of the commission are shown below in her "To Do List". EDIT: At this point, the chargeback has been completed, and Adiago has pushed this issue from a professional conflict to a personal one. Please see below for all the details. https://imgur.com/a/e5QDD This is to show that this is the only commission still sitting in her to do list. The artist is currently working on personal work in her stream. (Linked above) https://imgur.com/a/UNQeR This picture shows that the commission was put on her "To Do List" on February 1st, 2018. You can see the date in the lower right hand corner says 3/14/2018. This commission is still in her "To Do List" at the time of writing this. (Linked above) https://imgur.com/a/NTIT4 https://imgur.com/a/oVLG5 https://imgur.com/a/zLulv https://imgur.com/a/LkUor These links are to show that I am currently blocked from communicating with Adiago. I am currently blocked on her FurAffinity, both her twitters, and Telegram. While wanting to keep this strictly professional, I decided not to censor the Telegram link (Besides the names of both my boyfriend and another friend of mine for privacy reasons), because I would like people to understand how I was treated as not only a loyal follower, but a returning commissioner as well. (Links above) https://imgur.com/a/mFNYM This is the receipt for the Paypal transaction. This is to confirm that I did purchase this commission on December 17th, 2017. (Linked above) https://imgur.com/a/t3pa1 This is her stating publicly in her stream what she intends to do with me charging back. Please look at the quotes "tell Kat if he does a chargeback ill post him to artists beware. where thousands of people will see it." and "someones trying to be a D-bag and if they do it ill ruin them and no one will ever draw for them again". (Linked above) https://imgur.com/a/VPeJF This is Adiago's Terms of Service. As it states; "If at any point in the commission process I either find you intolerable or the commission is giving me a large amount of trouble, I will either offer or do a force refund. The final refund amount will be (Total amount-Work completed= Refund). Full refunds only given if I have not started and the commissioner is being problematic." In this situation, Adiago had not started my commission at this point, and had me blocked on all her places of contact. I can only assume at this point I am being found intolerable, and am entitled by her ToS to a full refund. (Linked above) https://imgur.com/a/f4tg0 This is confirmation that the issue was resolved. I was originally going to let this conflict end here, since the claim has already been settled, but Adiago has escalated the issue even further past this point, and has taken the issue from a professional conflict to a personal one. (Linked above is the claim outcome) https://imgur.com/a/0l0g9 This is the image a friend of mine sent me. The time this was sent was 12:41AM on 3/18/2018. I didn't cross out my main account to show that it is in fact me she is targeting, and that I am not going on a witch hunt. This was posted after Paypal had come to a decision on the claim, and marked the issue as "resolved". https://imgur.com/a/uJPi0 This is extra proof to show that I am indeed a returning customer to Adiago. I have purchased more in the past, but throughout 2017 alone I had sent Adiago a total of $555, not including the $195 chargeback. This also shows that this is the only refund I have had to request from Paypal against this artist. As stated above, I originally wasn't even going to make this post, even with the way she was treating me. The Paypal claim was resolved, and I would have liked to wash my hands of it. Adiago has taken this issue out of the realm of professionalism and made it into something personal. I would like to make the community aware of this unprofessional behavior, and ask to please take caution when considering purchasing art from Adiago. This is the first issue I have ever had with the artist when it comes to buying art, but the situation has quickly escalated into something I would like to be no part of. Thank you for reading, and please be careful! If she is willing to treat returning commissioners like this, then there is no way to know how she will treat new commissioner too! Beware!

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/987286.html WHO: Athena(TheJackal), ScribblyTees WHERE: Vancoufur 2017 WHAT: Pearl/Bead Badge WHEN: March 10th 2017 in the Dealers Den. EXPLAIN: I spoke to Athena at her booth while she was still setting things up. She had a BUNCH of pearl/bead badges on display including one from a popofur I thought was the most amazing pearl/bead badge I set my eyes on. I told her I simply must have one and she was extremely helpful and happy to help. I gave her all my details and I sent her the appropriate amount she asked for both the badge AND shipping. She told me right then on the spot she would have it done by MAY of the same year guaranteed. So here I am, a FULL YEAR later and haven't got even one image of at least a part of it done. I had her on telegram since the day I walked out of that DDen and I've messaged her many times asking for updates and I was always either told some story (Whether you choose to believe it or not isn't my problem, she had AMPLE time prior to that shit) or I was simply ignored. (The classic two checkmarks but no response) So here I am, finally making this post because any normal individual would. At this point I don't even care if I get it anymore. PROOF: http://furchee.com/files/athena/telegramchatlog.jpg & http://furchee.com/files/athena/paypalpayment.jpg EDIT: 18/07/2018 So after a couple days of backs and forths, we came to an understanding (or at least I thought we did) and things seemed to be coming together until yet another disappointment ocurred. I wrote Athena and actually got some progress. I'll attach an image of the badge she did in fact put together but never actually sent. She claimed she was going to melt it and send it at some point at the end of March and yet nothing seemed to have happened. At this point I do not care if she sends it in the mail or not. I do not understand why even after the conversation we had why this would still be an ongoing issue. It seems I lost nothing but valuable time and more importantly the 160 big ones I gave her. Oh and yes, I did see the twitter post on March 31st showing my badge apparently ready to ship. Sorry babe, it doesn't take almost 4 months to send or receive it. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/985962.html (Update at 7th Jan 2019 for 21st April 2018: See Below) WHO: Faris Batwan / Fuzzy Bat Suits WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/farisbatwan/ / http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fbsuits/ / https://www.facebook.com/pg/fuzzybatsuits/posts/?ref=page_internal WHAT: Partial fursuit / paws (Initial payment $975, been refunded $350, $300, $186 ($139 remaining)) WHEN: Starting March 8th 2017 – Still ongoing as of 28th February 2018 EXPLAIN: Everything was fine to begin with as was usually the case. I ordered a pre-made head that came with a tail and custom paws, the maker was very eager for the sale and replied very quickly on FA notes until I payed via PayPal. [FA Notes screenshot] A couple of days later something happened in my personal life that meant I had a large bill to pay for, as things hadn’t been shipped yet and I hadn’t been told that the paws had started being made or received other notes so I tried to cancel the order. To which I didn’t receive a response for another few days, and was ultimately told that they had spent all of the money on new equipment as soon as they received it and don’t have any money to refund me. [FA Notes screenshots] We went back and forth in notes a few times before I was told that the paws couldn’t be refunded since they were custom and so was the tail, even though the tail was in the listing to begin with and there had been no photos of the paws sent to me to show they have been completed. [Telegram screenshots] I reminded them the tail was from stock and therefore not bespoke to me and then I still had the paws sent out to me since the quality of their work seemed excellent. There were no photos taken of paws that were sent to me at all, additionally I was told that they had been sent by priority mail. [Telegram screenshots] Up to this point I had been told a few times that they were having bad weather pretty much seemed to be on a daily basis that didn’t allow them to check emails/telegram/notes etc. I had also been told to contact them on Telegram as it was their preferred method and then after not replying to me for a long time they said they preferred email and would definitely respond within 48 hours which they didn’t unless it affected them monetarily later on in the year. [Telegram screenshots] I originally bought the partial, and ultimately just the paws, for CFZ17, but they never showed even after the delivery time frame was weeks in the past, remember it was supposed to be priority mail. I asked the maker to contact the delivery company about it and the maker waited weeks until they eventually did and told me that we had to wait until half way through July before a claim could be made for a lost parcel. [Telegram screenshots] July came and went after I sent a number of messages to no response, which is around about the time they changed their mind and said to email them since they no longer like Telegram. Time passes and I still hadn’t received a response from the maker so I filed a PayPal case on them since they wouldn’t refund me or respond to me after numerous attempts to reach out to them. [Telegram screenshots] I had an message effectively calling me a scammer and saying I was damaging the business and he couldn’t pay me anyways even if I won the case [Telegram screenshots] After a few messages they eventually agreed to pay part of the money owed to me, but not the full amount. [Telegram screenshots] I was however promised once more that they were going to sell some pre-made heads to be able to refund me the final amount due to me. [Gmail screenshots] The last communication I had was in November from the maker with no final refund or communication, I contacted them again in the new year at the start of February and also got no response. [ Gmail screenshots] Apologies for the length of this post and any incidental errors, it has been ongoing for a year now. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/986117.html WHO: Ventress at Derpibooru and ych.commishes.com, VentressTheBat at Discord, ffighterbrent at DeviantArt, ventressthebat at FurAffinity. WHERE: the commission was received via ych.commishes.com, with further communications in Discord. WHAT: a digital art piece ($475). Here is the auction page: https://ych.commishes.com/auction/show/1BTR/come-get-some/ (NSFW), here is the finished piece: https://ych.commishes.com/followUp/show/1BTR/come-get-some/ (NSFW). It was a collaborative YCH by me and another artist (Yakovlev-Vad), but I've handled all communications and payments, so there will be no proxy writing — this detail will just make the logs easier to understand. WHEN: December 8, 2017: commission accepted, payment schedule agreed upon (first payment on December 14, Thursday, and then every Thursday after that, 4 parts, 125+125+125+100 USD). December 15, 2017: the final picture delivered to the commissioner, I receive the first part of the payment ($125). December 29, 2017: I receive the second installment ($125). January 13, 2018: I remind the commissioner about the payment due and eventually get banned from their Discord and DA. Also, I send them a Paypal invoice for $225 that isn't paid to this day. EXPLAIN: On December 5, 2017, I've launched a Christmas-themed YCH auction (https://ych.commishes.com/auction/show/1BTR/come-get-some/, NSFW). On December 8 it was won by Ventress. I've done several commissions for Ventress before and knew them as a reliable and responsible customer, so when they asked for paying in several installments, I was happy to oblige. I've delivered the finished piece (https://ych.commishes.com/followUp/show/1BTR/come-get-some/, NSFW) on December 15th with no further requests or complaints from the customer. Also, this day I've received the first part of the payment and we've agreed to shift the payment schedule one day forward (so it would have been Dec 15 - Dec 22 - Dec 29 - Jan 5). I've reminded the commissioner about the payment due on December 23th. They said that they needed more time (https://i.imgur.com/hiwoXpU.png). I've received this second part on December 29th. I didn't want to spoil the holidays for Ventress with monetary issues, so I've sent my second reminder on January 13th (according to our agreement, the commission should have been paid in full by this time). After a short dialogue (https://i.imgur.com/ybbMowr.png, mild language) I got banned from their Discord. I've also sent the commissioner a Paypal invoice for the remaining amount ($225) on January 13th and a Paypal reminder about it on February 2nd, but this invoice isn't paid to this day. PROOF: Here are the Discord logs and a relevant part of my Paypal record: https://imgur.com/a/ihFau (NSFW) UPDATE (Mar 04): I've received the rest of the payment (proof: https://orig00.deviantart.net/d553/f/2018/062/f/0/upd_by_tomatocoup-dc4uxws.jpg).

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/985732.html WHO: Corganda/Cori/Lei WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/corganda/ (also has http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lei http://www.furaffinity.net/user/corisketches and http://www.furaffinity.net/user/corcomics ) WHAT: Digital artwork WHEN: Initial date May 9th, 2015 02:11 PM, possibly before that. Is currently close to three years in waiting for longest owed pieces. EXPLAIN: Started with hosting YCH involving own character and drawn by artist. Artist provided initial cover image and sketch of updated cover image. Since then, have commissioned multiple pieces but have had minimal to no work done on them. Has reached over two years and no actual old owed pieces have been worked on. Artist has continued taking commissions for rent/bills/etc. and has made next to no effort in actually finishing owed work to artists. Have several specific regular customers that often pay up and get priority before other work is done. Artist does not allow any customer to view their Trello schedule ever, has not given any proper personal notification about delays (constantly posts “sympathy” journals on Fur Affinity) and has partner/manager respond to enquiries in rude and sometimes disrespectful means. Has REPEATEDLY stated they are not doing any comic-style commissions until queue is caught up to date, but has constantly done comic pages and is currently selling comic-style commissions. Manager/partner Nikki is the worst part of this. Her attitude towards customers has been atrocious. Has accused me of threatening them, not understanding their situation when I have made it abundantly clear that I have been tolerant and understanding. Accused me of doing “things” the past month when all I have done is contacted them about updates, owed work lists and even just any promise on having things sorted. PROOF: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16500320/ - initial YCH comic piece with starting date of concern. NSFW WARNING https://i.imgur.com/B2xNiV5.png - Payment for YCH. (Since my character was the main one my cost was higher than the slots) https://i.imgur.com/IcG8H3l.png - email proof about artist “halting” on comic commissions. https://i.imgur.com/kSMKGwK.png - email sent requesting fix to my owed commissions and their “detailed” response (follow up email I sent given the fact they gave no care to respond properly like an artist or manager should - https://i.imgur.com/LhbxWPD.png ) https://i.imgur.com/V9Oi4hh.png - email received after above. Often has accused me of not “caring” or being “understanding” when I have expressed multiple times in various platforms (Discord/Skype/Telegram) about having concerns for their living conditions. Will also point out they’re assuming I’m threatening them in any sort of way, when all I’ve been asking is updates and actual discussion to rectify the issue. https://i.imgur.com/eHXQi9n.png - email sent asking for list of owed commissions. Apparently it takes time to find information and send it in an email. https://i.imgur.com/UtCKRIl.png - discord request about work on owed YCH comic piece. Was never informed of any part – schedule placement or stream date. Have never been able to determine placement on their work schedule because it is disabled to public viewing. https://i.imgur.com/4UnmBH6.png - Most recent email response. All I have done is try and get any sort of update on the progress which has never even happened, accused of “dumping” them because I have been getting artwork from other artists like a normal customer and not being in streams. Sadly am unable to provide any further evidence. Email logs do not provide as much, unable to gather information from Skype due to the conversation being wiped through updates and Discord information does not go back far enough. SUMMATION: This artist was a very trusted person to me. The fact they have constantly sunk themselves into a continuously expanding hole of financial issues and RL issues has put their work on the biggest of declines – and yet they still keep taking commissions. AVOID THIS ARTIST PLEASE. Spare yourself from what I and so many others are currently dealing with. RECENT UPDATES 1st March 2018 · Feb. 28th, 2018 at 1:16 PM Initial time and date of the Artist Beware post being uploaded. I am making a mention of this because of the following that has transcribed since: https://i.imgur.com/OkOXfNo.png - Corganda’s Manager emailing me with an “apology” half an hour after the Artist Beware went live. https://i.imgur.com/nd5Buwz.png - Roughly eleven hours later a follow-up email was sent to me. Manager has continued “apologizing” and wanting to discuss correcting things. At this point I am fully aware they have seen the Artist Beware, and are now trying to bait me into taking it down. https://i.imgur.com/ofCaQsj.png?1 - Note on FurAffinity from Manager again (using the artist’s account I might add), with a word-for-word copy of the above email with an additional bit of text. Very pathetic they resorted to this. https://i.imgur.com/KisRRfR.png - Roughly three hours later the manager sends ANOTHER email. This was sent while I was sleeping, and conveniently I knew I had to check my emails and I expected another one to be sent by them. At this point I’d like to also share the following: https://i.imgur.com/l0P93bC.png?1 - Journal the artist made after deleting a giant long-winded “apology” about the delays, changes to the account, and that they will be emailing waiting customers to discuss the backlog. And finally, what I also woke up to seeing (time being roughly 8am): https://i.imgur.com/zQbwAcD.png - The artist streaming as of right now. PLEASE NOTE – the pink fursona in the Stream thumbnail is mine. The artwork in question they are drawing is the actual YCH comic. This is entirely a ruse to bait me into interacting with them and taking down this post. https://i.imgur.com/GjVOBsP.png - Proof in-stream that they are deliberately working on my owed items as means of baiting me. NSFW WARNING JUST IN CASE. https://i.imgur.com/M2aRl0Q.png - They have sent me a note on fA with a link to the WIP of the initial comic. (Most recent addition to update, WIP upload has since been deleted.) I am fully aware they have been alerted to this, given the rapid nature of their emails. I have updated this because this sudden burst of communication is leaning heavily towards harassment. Any further updates I receive will be added onto this entry. UPDATE: 2nd March 2018 https://i.imgur.com/Jcdlqv8.png — I have begun to contact and inform the four winners of changes that are upcoming, regarding this issue. From the WIP that was posted and then taken down, only one of the winners seemed to have more visual representation in the comic, whereas the others were drawn as simply floating genitals and a small chibi emotive headshot. Everything about the WIP has shown that the original idea was in fact disregarded, and this was designed as a means to not only "complete" the overdue commission, but to do so in a manner that violated the original agreement set in stone and went against what was the original concept. After conferring with a trusted friend over this matter, I have sent a final email to the artist. https://i.imgur.com/Q9eIcz1.png UPDATE: 4th March 2018 While I stipulated previously I would consider the matter closed, and would post a final update when the full refund was received, unfortunately that has not been the case just yet. https://i.imgur.com/jjhjhcf.png This is the response to my previous email. Immediately, this has thrown red flags in my face, and honestly a slap of disrespect yet again. Going by the format of the email, I can only assume the manager has sent this reply. It happens to be set out in previous email formats by her. Firstly, the fact they had the audacity to create an incorrect WIP in the first place, upload it, and THEN take it down because it was "to be done in the original terms" is pathetic. If they had any intention of actually sticking to the original terms, they wouldn't have MADE an incorrect WIP, let alone publicly upload it. I have replied with the initial payment due, and this will soon be closed on the matter. There will be a final update when the refund has been completed. Tired of ads?
