About Me

  1. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/834579.html WHO: Skylar Young on Facebook; I don't know of Furaffinity or any other place she offers her services. WHERE: https://www.facebook.com/para.dox.7758 WHAT: A fursuit costume piece; four-colored goat tail. There was no set completion time but it was said that the product would be started as soon as money went through, as seen in the screencap. WHEN: Payment sent December 22, 2014, when it was promised it would be started in four days, when the payment went through. Still relevant now ( March 14th, 2015, at time of posting ). PROOF: Discussion of transaction, and me trying to contact them at all. I am Taxi Pony, any mention of her name is blocked out per community rules:: http://i.imgur.com/q4CgoDs.png Paypal proof of payment:: http://i.imgur.com/gr1W0Re.png Evidence of her continual activity since commissioning the tail can be seen just by visiting her facebook. EXPLAIN: I contacted them on December 22nd as they had made a recent post about being in financial troubles, and knowing they were a local suit maker, I decided to commission them for a tail for one of my suits. The above log shows me commissioning them. All was good and it was a fine, active conversation for a little bit, then I sent the money and we discussed possible future business ( I was wondering about getting hands and feet for the costume as well ) and then we went our merry ways. From then on, there was literally no conversation. I sent multiple messages just asking for a response at all, and preferably a picture of the WIP tail ( which, according to her promise, should have been started already ), and despite Facebook confirming that my messages were looked at, there was never any replies. Meanwhile she was posting just as regularly as always on her Facebook, reblogging, so on. I even got a little desperate a few times just to at least be ACKNOWLEDGED and commented on a couple of her posts. I only started getting aggressive once I realized these comments on her posts got deleted afterwards, even those not related to the business. As of right now there has still been no contact and I have started a paypal claim to get my money back as if she doesn't find her customers important enough to even say hello to then I doubt she finds them important enough to give paid-for product to. I'll admit I did a bad thing that isn't at all relevant to our business transaction, but I feel like the lack of contact and deleting posts may be related to it -- her boyfriend made an unsavory post that made me really mad and I called him out on it. I've learned since that Skylar is very protective of her boyfriend and anyone who says anything bad about them instantly gets on her naughty list. Again, nothing to do with the business transaction, but it's just further evidence of the lack of professionalism with this maker. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMMISSIONING THIS MAKER. She refuses contact with her clients and prefers to work on personal things over commissioned pieces. I know of someone else who posted a beware on her recently as well, so red flags all around. The lack of professionalism should be enough to keep future clients away.
  2. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/833310.html WHO: RubbertexRaccoon WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/rubbertexraccoon WHAT: 3-page comic ($120). An inflatable suit and a matching inflatable toy ($2400 for both to be paid in three installments: $800 down to pay for materials, $800 on completion of prototype, $800 on delivery - $1,600 paid to date.) WHEN: Comic commissioned March 2013, the inflatable suit and toy commissioned in April, 2013. PROOF: Journal showing comic pages paid: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4396795/ Original Agreement for the inflatable suit and toy: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/07imdps245l9xw2/Original Agreement PM.jpg?dl=0 Project delivery date showing target date of Midwest Furfest 2013: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/dpe9cpb507dp24a/Project Delivery Date PM.jpg?dl=0 First payment made on April 15, after timeline agreed upon for MFF. Second payment made in 2013 after initial concept sketch was finished: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/wjbr3sh4acsepl1/Payment proof email.jpg?dl=0 EXPLAIN: I commissioned Rubbertex Raccoon for art, an inflatable Maximus Ursus muscle bear suit and a matching life-size inflatable muscle bear toy, all in 2013. All of the products were to be completed in 2013, but the only thing I have received thus far is the pencil drawing concept sketch of the suit. Rubbertex said in a PM he received the materials to build my suit and toy, but I have seen no evidence to support the claim. He said he would mail a swatch of the latex for my approval of the thickness and color, but that never happened. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/cxg2bza1fbjrsnf/Swatches 12-2013.jpg?dl=0 He mentioned in later updates he is finished with the foam body so I could approve the size and shape of the muscles, but no photos were ever sent. He has also mentioned numerous times that his emails are often undelivered as spam because of the “rubber” part of his name, but I’ve never had any problems receiving emails from anyone. He has told this to numerous commissioners, including my mate, TonkaWolf, to whom he also owes an inflatable suit. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/ha54nx05dehqvag/Email issues 06-2014.png?dl=0 Here is the update from May 19, 2013 talking about receiving the materials: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/yr1rnswlgwi9shj/05-2013 Update.jpg?dl=0 And an update in February 2014 saying he is waiting for tools to arrive to finish the foam dummy for approval, as well as not yet having done the comic: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/3na64moglubvrlz/02-2014 Update.jpg?dl=0 An update in May 2014 saying he is still struggling with completing projects and is having financial issues (none of which should have affected my commissions, since the materials were supposedly already purchased a year ago). https://dl.dropbox.com/s/ddqugvunlbr1m87/05-2014 Update.jpg?dl=0 After several PMs and emails later, I told Rubbertex that although I would be disappointed with not getting the suit and toy, I would accept a refund of the $1,600 paid if the projects were not completed by December 31, 2014. I can’t find any documentation where we talked about the drop dead date, so it might have been via texts or something. I have had it posted on my FA profile since October 2014: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/cgea1f13qu72wqs/FA Profile.jpg?dl=0 It is now March 8, 2015 and the projects still are not completed. Neither have the comic pages been completed, although Rubbertex has been doing LiveStreams fairly regularly since January, taking on all new work and completing that during the streams or shortly thereafter. Rubbertex is now avoiding the problem by not reading PMs on FA, such as this one I sent 10 days ago (02-27) asking for an update on the refunds for Tonka and me: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/mu2ybdt3pa6upnq/Unanswered PM 03-08-2015.jpg?dl=0 Even though he is still doing sketching live streams (this one is from 03-07): https://dl.dropbox.com/s/feg8woe1ww0pe10/Sketch Stream 03-07-2015.jpg?dl=0 He is also looking at FA as he responded to one of Oz Kangaroo’s journals on 03-01. https://dl.dropbox.com/s/xnppxkrjoe7yjed/Rubbertex journal post 03-01-2015.jpg?dl=0 I know Rubbertex is under a lot of stress and pressure and I honestly just want a refund of all of the money I’ve paid to this point: $1720. I would love to still get the items, but as far as I know, there are still at least 6 suits and toys in the queue before mine, so I don’t think it’s realistic that my projects will ever be done. *****UPDATE: 07-15-2015***** I received a PM from Rubbertex on FA, apologizing for not having the work done and saying he will give me a refund "within a reasonable time frame". I replied to him that I would still rather have the suit and toy, since he says "I'm taking a huge financial hit on the materials and labor", but I have not yet seen any evidence that the materials have even been purchased. I have tried to help him over the past few years to get his life and diet in order to reduce his anxiety, but it is up to him to change. our exchange is here: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/i2t648eszcs6ath/Rubbertex Refund PM on FA 07-11-2015.jpg?dl=0 The suit/toy building queue I mention is here: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/r6v2umlhnmd2slb/Rubbertex queue.png?dl=0
  3. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/832525.html 3/5/2015: Added a link to the chatlog into "PROOF" WHO: kaheiyattsu WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kaheiyattsu , https://inkbunny.net/kaheiyattsu WHAT: Four sketched images WHEN: Janurary 16, 2014 PROOF: Now I don't really have proof over the agreement of the images since the conversation was over at my desktop before I had to lose it, which means that chatlog along with it was also lost over in Skype, but I do have proof of him making claim of cancelling my commission out of a rather dense reason, and the transaction I made over paypal. Conversation: https://db.tt/clJa1npq and the Transaction: https://db.tt/1n1JGS6l I'm not going to be taking a picture of the whole conversation, I can't find myself doing that since it would be extremely time-consuming but I can however link the whole chatlog here: https://db.tt/F5ufbtjV EXPLAIN: The incident occured over Skype with our chat, he knew well enough he owes me the images until he started talking about a specific species he hates out of no clear reason, and after a while after figuring I'd like to change my Skype icon since the one I had was getting old, he suddenly threw a fit at me, telling me to change it because of how much someone's icon just bothers him when he could just ignore it. Nonetheless, it all ended up with him saying he was no longer going to make my images, with no mention of a refund either. I will not stand for this nonsense, so it's either he gives me back my money, or he finishes my image, I can't even contact him since he's blocked and removed me from all the contacts I had him in, I even tried to email him but there's no response at all, so I'm taking it that he's just gonna get away with this being the con-artist he is.
  4. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/830379.html So, I ordered a keychain off this person a while ago, they were having some sorta deal, I didn't think to get a screencap of the journal back then, so I have no proof of that, only notes. WHO: Feralxx, Aberforth WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/feralxx/ (disabled), http://www.furaffinity.net/user/aberforth/ (disabled) WHAT: A keychain/trinket of Sora from Kingdom Hearts WHEN: May 2014 PROOF: Conversation: Payment proof: Follow up note: EXPLAIN: I ordered this from her, when I saw a journal/submission. We spoke (link above), she sent an invoice and I paid. I forget about it for a bit since she said it'd take a bit and I'm cool with waiting. So, I remember just this year (yes I'm silly), go to check and her userpage has been diabled. I found her new page with some help, and send a note and post on her wall, once each, just in case she has notes disabled. Go to check again today and this page has been disabled so, I'm pretty sure she's intent on not doing the work or refunding me. I fully recognize I should have checked up on it earlier. I can't get any proof of the wall post, but it said "Hey, I don't know if you have notes disabled, I was wondering if you could please get in touch with me?" I could contact her on her paypal email, but I doubt it would help. EDIT: Sent an email and message on her active Facebook. Still no response.
  5. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/829923.html WHO: rachVerity Where: FA: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/rachverity/ Trello List: https://trello.com/b/kDddOtiK/commissions-list What: I commissioned them for an opening of an six character orgy commission that I requested to be made into a SFW group thing: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/5302/j1XVmB.png In their comment they state it will take up to a month. After I sent payment I messaged them with the details and references of my characters. When: Payment was sent on the 24th of July on the day that I asked for the commission in the previous picture. After that point, there was no contact from them about any updates, yet they continued to pile on the commissions. After they opened up a trello to show the status of each commission, I found mine still left uncheck. Proof: As outline above I sent the details soon afterwards: http://imageshack.com/a/img538/2711/5MPAvC.png Here is the paypal payment: http://imageshack.com/a/img903/2149/65t3G1.png Explain: After that point I send them this note over FA asking if anything had been done on the commission, and if not, asking for a refund: http://imageshack.com/a/img673/4466/bSG2KN.png Their reply, explaining that I would have to go on a refund waiting list, explaining that they hadn't openened commissions in ages, and more: http://imageshack.com/a/img661/9673/F7uI12.png Extra: A journal two days prior showing an opening of commissions: http://imageshack.com/a/img537/1746/LKp4Xo.png My reply, which may or may not have been a bit heated explaining how ludicrous the notion of a refund waiting list is: http://imageshack.com/a/img912/597/1OWp27.png And their reply implying things I did not say and of course, more: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/8864/KrxmJT.png As of writing this, A: I haven't replied to their last note; B: There are 144 uncompleted commissions on their Trello list. I have commissioned rachVerity before this, and recieved my product a little after they said it would be delivered. On that premonition I decided it would be safe to commision the artist again. I have attempted to communicate with them, with conditions of a refund, to which they respond with absurd notions of a refund waiting list. Upon telling them this, they going into a flurry of excuses and accussations. EDIT: Well I certainly didn't expect this to blow up the way it did. The artist has since given me a full refund, after I asked to make sure it wasn't payment from someone else's commission. This A_B is certainly going to stay up as a testament to what the artist needs to fix. I highly reccomend they don't take aboard any new commissions, and individually contact each customer they owe to see if they want to keep their commission. They have a lot of work ahead of them.
  6. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/824199.html WHO: Miiroku, BlueKyoKitty WHERE: http://miiroku.deviantart.com/ WHEN: December 7, 2013 PROOF: http://miiroku.deviantart.com/journal/Pony-Plush-Commission-417787086 ^original journal advertising commission http://imgur.com/a/xSQiJ ^original transaction http://imgur.com/a/2floM ^Me attempting to get in contact EXPLAIN: I originally commissioned Blue on their Deviantart journal in December of 2013. They claimed they needed money for Christmas gifts, and were offering a $50 pony plush. They estimated their time frame about about 3 months, but I told them to take their time, assuming it wouldn’t be more than 6 months. It’s now been 14 months, and according to their profile, my plushie is 10% complete. It was 7% for about 8 months, but has now apparently 3% more complete. My plushie is also scheduled to be completed AFTER the two other people in line, who have supposedly been waiting longer than me. I am mostly upset because I feel like I was used for a short-term loan with no interest paid. It’s been over a year now with no tangible progress (I’ve asked for updates over the months and basically I’ve been told that no real progress has been made), even though they have completed and sold many different pre-made plushies in the last 14 months. Blue has also been known to take on too many commissions, and refund people months later when they decide they don’t want to do them. I feel like this is an incredibly shady tactic, and again, like taking out small loans and just repaying whenever they feel like it. As you can see in the last album, I have messaged Blue many times in the past 2 weeks, and to my assumption, they haven’t even checked their messages. I would assume they weren’t online, but they have posted many new pieces of art and even livestreams in that timeframe, which leads me to believe they are deliberately ignoring their messages. I’m hoping to get my plush completed, and I’ll take a refund if I absolutely have to, but I’m honestly pretty pissed that I was used for a quick buck and just given a refund after all this time. EDIT: Removed irrelevant information.
  7. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/820655.html Who: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/incorgnito/ What: Discounted Digital 2 character colored sketch for $25. When: I paid for the commission on December 22, 2014 Explain: Incorgnito opened for discounted Xmas colored sketches on the 22nd of December: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9wbtv8sm0f435qm/xmassale.png?dl=0 The same day, I sent them a message via note requesting a 2 character image: NSFW https://www.dropbox.com/s/q29ze15pmle26c0/1.png?dl=0 I was told that it would take about 1-2 weeks: https://www.dropbox.com/s/egsvy10s6xvf8v2/2weeks.png?dl=0 On January 14th, I sent a note requesting an update: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5sr0gvvk64pquxz/update1.png?dl=0 It was read and subsequently ignored or forgotten. On January 21st, I sent another note requesting an update: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fpjygqp3kgbmo4l/update2.png?dl=0 It was not read until I sent another note on January 25th informing them that I wanted either an update on my commission, or a refund: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hjb9gt8l7yelmkb/update3.png?dl=0 Note that in this I mistakenly said it had been nearly 6 weeks, but I had meant to type 5. Their response: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ctqm1obtuggmtt0/tooscik.png?dl=0 The sick journals they posted: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6441909/ http://puu.sh/f2oyL/7df74b1c54.png I asked if I would have it complete before the end of January: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4dvo64l8bp330ip/endofjanuary.png?dl=0 Told told me they weren't sure, as they were still sick: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fwyk2l0g4q8sl52/2sick.png?dl=0 My biggest issue is the lack of communication. They told me that they hadn't been responding to notes because they were sick in bed, but despite being too sick to respond, they were still fairly active, posting YCH's, Journals, and commissions: NSFW https://www.dropbox.com/s/81z6t11rhyz7z3v/dateproof.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zzr4v69gx36ihaq/janjournals.png?dl=0 I expressed to them my frustration with no communication from them, and informed them that if it couldn't be completed before the end of January, I would like a refund: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h3exxd6ylu05h9b/noexcuse.png?dl=0 I was told that they do not offer refunds: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5chyv9kw6alolr0/3weeks.png?dl=0 Also, they apparently forgot how long ago I commissioned them, as they state that it has "only been 3 weeks you've been waiting when I said 2. It's only a week after the approximate date I gave you and the entire week it's been "late" I've been sick." which is not correct. I grew increasingly frustrated and sent this note: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gf8xv0uft58z0wz/5weeks.png?dl=0 They get angry with me, and accuse me of blackmailing them: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xwreia7fv5hv7h0/blackmail.png?dl=0 I deny that and once again try to explain my frustrations: https://www.dropbox.com/s/du4hwwwvedgt6ta/notblackmail.png?dl=0 They attempt to provide more places to contact them, as apparently FA is not their main profile: https://www.dropbox.com/s/efb197ildm2mbku/healthfirst.png?dl=0 At this point, I was far and beyond done with dealing with them so I ask again for a refund: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l7ppuyea171p5es/done.png?dl=0 Looking back, I also realize they said "about one to two weeks" not exactly 1-2 weeks, but the priciple of them not responding to me still stands. They sent me one last note, accusing me of "literally threatening" them and being unprofessional: https://www.dropbox.com/s/seodcd66pz4efrs/threat.png?dl=0 This was the note that made me decided to post them to AB. They remind me that I only paid X amount compared to their usual cost, and that I'm throwing a fit because I'm not getting my "fap material" due to their lung infection. Overall, this artist uses their sickness as a reason why they were unable to respond to notes, despite being on consistently enough that they should easily have been able to respond with some sort of update. When confronted, they shoved their "no refunds" TOS rule in my face and accused me of blackmailing and threatening them, which is untrue. They also reminded me that their are other people in their queue that have waiting longer than I, though I couldn't have had anyway of knowing that, and then they offer to show me their names, which is definitely not appropriate. Twice they forgot how long it had been since I had initially commissioned them, even though I repeatedly told them it had been 5 weeks. I also noticed that three times they mention the number of people in their queue, and each time it changes, from 10, to 12, to 5. This inconsistency confused and concerned me. I recieved my refund so I suppose it's "resolved" but that in no way excuses their behavior. It was a hassle dealing with this artist, and I don't ever wish to go through something like this again.
  8. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/817344.html WHO: Sirafurball FA: SiraFurBall Twitter: @SiraFurBall Deviantart: SiraFurBall WHERE: YCH auction piece for $43. Auction (caps) / Finished Piece WHEN: The YCH ended on December 12th, 2014, however I didn't alert the winner (SiraFurBall) of winning until December 13th, 2014. I was paid on the 13th ( x ) for the auction and set to work on the piece. WHAT: This YCH took a little longer than normal due to the holidays, but the buyer (Sira) seemed happy with the progress of the piece. I finished the piece on January 6th and posted it online.Three days later (January 9th) I received an email from PayPal regarding a 'Potentially Unauthorized Funds' notice, which cancelled a transfer of funds to my bank and also held the amount of the YCH of $43. I contacted Sira regarding this and she stated she had no idea how this could have happened as she hadn't been on her PayPal for one week and would fix the problem. I warned her if it was a chargeback I would be making an Artist Beware against her. I also warned her not to repost the image I did until the dispute was figured out. I posted an advice post regarding the issue and discovered that at least four other artists had the same issue with the same buyer. On the 10th of January, funds seemed to be returned to my account and everything was alright. Fast forward to the 13th of January, and I receive another email from PayPal regarding the same issue, and my funds were once again on hold. I contacted Sira about this on Twitter as it turned out to be where I could get the most immediate attention from her. She seemed to not know about what was going on and said she fixed the issue. I have not heard from her since January 13th regarding the issue. Twitter chat is in Proof. PROOF: Proof of Auction: Auction / Finished Image Proof of Payment / Proof of Dispute: X Paypal Notification Emails: First (January 9th) / Second (January 13th) Emails from Sira (from start of transaction): 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 Twitter Chat: X Images from Twitter Chat: 1 / 2 / 3 EXPLAIN: It's fairly straight forward why I'm making the Artist Beware. Considering there are at least four artists involved in this and possibly more makes me believe that this is either an issue where the commissioner wanted their art and their money too or parents got wise to their money being used. Sira claims to be 18 (see Twitter Chat in Proof) but there is a chance that she is not being truthful, but I have no proof besides her word one way or the other. Another thing to note is that Sira is Spanish, so English is not her first language. There is definitely frustration from me in the Twitter chat and emails during conversation and waiting for response from her, but my finances and standing with PayPal I feel are in trouble while this is happening. Art commissions are a means to supplement my current income so this chargeback has caused a domino effect of problems. As of writing this AB ( 7:22 PM PST, January 14th, 2015) the dispute has not been resolved. Update: As of today (January 15th, 2015), I have refunded the money that was under the chargeback. I was paid back the full amount by a different Paypal account. I do not want this marked resolved as I don't know how this is going to pan out.

(January 8th, 2015): http://oi61.tinypic.com/a5klma.jpg EXPLAIN: February 28th, 2012 - I order a $50 colored commission from LunaticSupernova. I had commissioned her once before, and she had completed a commission for me back then, so I didn't think we'd have an issue. I was proven wrong though while waiting for her to complete my commission, she suddenly deactivate her DeviantArt account and vanishes. I lost track of her for over 2 years. In October, an artist that I watch on Facebook happened to post an art trade they had just completed for LunaticSupernova (who was now going by Hajime Aikawa) . I was shocked to see that she was still around, and I mentioned in the comments that LunaticSupernova had disappeared on me over 2 years ago while still owing me for a commission that she never completed. Lunatic responded back to me saying that she remembered me, and claimed that she had finished the commission, but had never sent it out to me, and now no longer has it. She also says that because it had been so long since then, she wanted to redo it so that it would be up to her current standards. We move the conversation over to Facebook PMs out of respect for the other artist who had gotten tangled up with this, and ended up removing the comments from their page. Lunatic tells me that she plans on starting the commission after October 21st. In November, I try to get in contact with her through email to check on the status of my commission, and she becomes inactive again on her pages. I grow concerned and send her another message on Facebook on November 14th, asking for updates and why she hasn't responded to me. I also was contacting a friend of hers to try to get a hold of her and see what was going on. I don't get a response until November 21st, Lunatic telling me that she had been gone for a week and claiming that she had intended to contact me that she was going to be away for a while, but said she had no internet. We talk about her lack of motivation for completing commissions, and her lack of communication, and she tells me that she will finish the commission before the end of the year. The new year rolls around and I still haven't heard back from Lunatic. A friend of mine got in contact with her on January 7th, since he noticed that she was still active with other things, while I was being ignored. He sends a message to her to try to see what's going on with my commission, and is met with more excuses, mentioning going to conventions as being a reason she isn't done with my commission. She's willing to contact my friend, but not me about any of this. At this point, I've given up with expecting my commission to ever be completed. EDIT May 3rd, 2015: After having many broken promises on when the refund would be sent, and thanks to the help of a friend of mine chasing this artist down, the artist has finally refunded me in full.

I loved her style and wanted her to draw a sketch bust of my character Penumbra - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10319599/. She agreed and gave me her paypal to send the money to, which I did and let her know via the journal to which she confirmed. I wait a couple weeks to a month for some sort of update or the sketch and I find her going on hiatus. I see that she said she's not motivated to do the work and so I let her know that if she can't do it to contact me, otherwise to not sweat it. She said nothing to that and responded only to the other person helping her refund another commissioner. I saw this after a while and got confused as to why I wasn't refunded as well. She told me she still intended on drawing my character and not to worry about being forgotten. Another couple weeks go by and she posts a journal asking for winter commissions (the journal has long since been deleted from furaffinity but here is the journal on DA with it stating that others were sketched - http://pewpewpewpie.deviantart.com/art/Winter-Icon-Commission-closed-416204367 and on FA there's still the submission calling for them leading to that page - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12163863/ (caps- http://tinypic.com/r/2m3rczs/5 , http://tinypic.com/r/300zedu/5 , http://tinypic.com/r/jl2es5/5 ) My sketch still hasn't been worked on and I've received no updates. I left her a shout a week ago asking for any updates and got ignored. A couple days ago I sent out a note letting her know that if it wasn't responded to that I'd be posting an A-B post and also letting her know that at this point, I'd rather have the refund. She responded saying she didn't have the money at the moment, and nothing more than that. After that, she posted on her profile that she doesn't do refunds. Something that was put into place AFTER my commission was taken on and not worked on at all. I understand people's lives getting in the way, and I understand I let her know that she could take some time to get over her art block, but I asked for updates and never got them. I should have at least been given that. Update/Edit: I got a note from her saying that she had someone willing to pay the refund for me and she asked for my paypal http://tinypic.com/r/sv31ae/5 I gave it to her. I ended up getting a shout from her that rubbed me the wrong way later in the day in response to my shout on her page about the sudden addition to the refund on her profile http://tinypic.com/r/vfb6m0/5 (I've never seen this disclaimer), then not long after I ended up getting another note from her saying that the money was sent http://tinypic.com/r/29xbv9d/5 and my response http://tinypic.com/r/33bfuy9/5 . So everything's resolved now. Edit: Just added her new furaffinity name
  11. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/811861.html WHO: Nayel-ie, Nayelfox WHERE: FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/nayel-ie/ Due to Nayel-ie requesting to the mods that all other links should be removed, I have removed them. You can still find her on DA, Weasyl, FB, Tumblr, Instagram, and with her TOS Homepage on Wordpress. You should be able to guess her username 😃 WHAT: Digital Drawing of my OC, later changed to Digital Drawing of Krystal from Star Fox WHEN: Initial contact was on December, 31st 2013. Payment was completed on the same day. Contacted her about the commission at 23.01.2014, 03.02.2014, 21.03.2014, 07-12.05.2014, 14-20.11.2014, 21.11.2014, 08.12.2014 EXPLAIN: Commissioned a digital drawing of my OC on Dec, 31st 2013 when she told during her stream that she needed quick money for some medical bills. I later changed that commission, with her consent, to "draw whatever you like" since she posted that she never had time to draw stuff she likes, because she is always occupied with commissions. She then started drawing Krystal from Star Fox during one of her streams crediting it to me. She never finished that drawing and when I asked about it she always told me that it would be continued shortly. In my latest inquiry I only get very short, unprofessional and quite rough answers that she will do it when she has done the newly-accepted commissions. She, however, has no problem with accepting discounted commissions with the promise of "tonight completion". I had commissioned her before and got time image completed in a very timely manner (if I remember correctly it was below a week, which is very fast), hence I didn't think that it would take THIS long... PROOF: Since I'm not a huge fan of posting several images, I will post you the links with a small explanation. All images are SFW! 31.12.2013: First contact. I wrote her the note after I had watched her stream and saw that she needed money. I would have donated it at this point, but since I don't like the concept of a donation very much I asked for a commission. This includes the PayPal address (censored) and payment details. http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6291/ErXrK4.jpg (Censored) PayPal payment details for the transaction: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6007/QlPlw3.jpg 23.01.2014: Second contact. I wrote this note after I had read in one of her journals that she had very little time to draw for herself, since she was always occupied with commissions. So I offered that she could use the time she would take for my commission to draw something that she enjoyed. She asked me what I wanted but I thought that would defeat the purpose of the idea. http://imageshack.com/a/img674/8775/er8scm.jpg 03.02.2014: Third contact. This time she wrote me a note when she had an idea that she could draw Krystal from Star Fox. Of course I agreed, and thus the change of my commission was official. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/683/pXwRe9.jpg 21.03.2014: Fourth contact. I wrote her a mail (during this time, her preferred way of contact) after she wrote a journal about all the commissions she still owed. If we didn't see our name on that list we should write her a mail, which i promptly did. http://imageshack.com/a/img912/5250/2AiLOr.jpg 07.05.2014: She then did a journal (again) asking for everyone who she owed commissions to, to write her a mail - she needed this for sorting. A screenshot of said journal is included below: http://imageshack.com/a/img746/5023/opGVke.jpg 07-12.05.2014: Fifth contact. My mail answering her call to the journal above. During this mail I offered to take a different form of compensation for my money (Sketches, Lineart), because I was learning to draw and would have used those as study objects. She refused and reassured me that she was still doing the Krystal picture. http://imageshack.com/a/img908/9935/spVJNi.jpg 14.11.2014: She created two journals selling discounted commissions. One with a promised "tonight completion" turnaround. She even said that she would stream those commissions on her Livestream. http://imageshack.com/a/img537/5365/vUF9c9.jpg 14-20.11.2014: Sixth contact: I noted her about my commission and this time I didn't get a single friendly reply like in the last notes or mails. She seemed very short tempered and busy and didn't answer any of my questions in a manner that I would expect from a professional artist. In between I even asked for some better communication, but this request was simply ignored. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/3372/lwW0Lr.jpg 21.11.2014: Seventh contact: I sent her a note after I spoke with my lawyer about possible legal steps. I've set a deadline to give her enough time to either finish the image, refund me or find a suitable solution. The deadline got extended, since she wasn't at home until 2 weeks later. http://imageshack.com/a/img538/1575/RCT3Ov.jpg 08.12.2014: Eighth contact: I sent her a reminder since she should have already been back from her trip. http://imageshack.com/a/img901/1170/O7lI6S.jpg Well I haven't heard anything after that. Now I think about suing her for fraud, which would be a felony. Sure, it would cost me a lot of money beforehand (would have to hire a lawyer in Canada .. from Germany) but since I can throw all those charges at her I am not very worried about it, especially since I have a legal insurance which would cover those things as well. reading the comments on the other A_B posts about her (http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/807348.html and http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/802050.html) she seems to owe art for multiple thousands of dollars.. however she doesn't have a problem scamming those customers and accepting new commissions or even do free art streams: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/7766/1U0E19.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4571/cT7WqP.jpg PS: As for everyone that she owes commissions to, I can only give the advice to REPORT her to PayPal. You won't get your money back (unless you have purchased physical goods from her), but the more people report fraudulent transactions with her account the more likely it is that they will investigate and/or stop her from using PayPal which would slow her shenanigans down by a huge amount, at least for future commissioners. -> and no, if she would like to issue a refund with PayPal they would gladly allow those transactions, even if they banned her from using it! UPDATE: I had to remove all links to her profiles, except her FA page. Nayel-ie requested this from the mods and I complied. Here are a screencap of her old TOS, since she changed her since. http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4160/YVbr3S.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img538/5366/a0a8pW.jpg Also I received a reply to one of my last notes and she said that she would complete the image in the following days. http://imageshack.com/a/img913/9884/BjG2FC.jpg 2 days later (the day she wanted to give me the image) I watched one of her Livestreams and she showed me (and the other viewers) a progress shot. The image was 80% completed at that time, thus I gave her 2 additional days. Since I didn't hear anything from her after that I sent another note. http://imageshack.com/a/img910/6646/h96zQF.jpg On December, 21st I received a note with a link to the final image (FA Version shown below) which brings this annoying journey to an end. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15279262/ It's sad that you have to threaten an artist with legal action for their own incompetence to stick to a contract. It's also sad that Nayel-ie never apologized for the delay or her attitude. It looks to me like she thinks she's done everything right and has nothing to fear. Well from a legal standpoint that might be correct at least with this case. I just hope that her other customers are just as "lucky" to get their work done as well.. there are far to many out there who have to wait for their art; Art they already have paid for.

However, I have sent them several notes on several accounts and they have either read the note and not responded, or ignored my messages completely. I asked if they could either finish the Commission that I payed for, or refund me the $15. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they have chosen to not respond. I would be less irked if they would just reply to me and let me know what the heck is going on. January 6, 2014:So first I send Lambomill a note in January asking for a flat colored bust Commission of one of my characters. they accept and I send them the payment. (see links above) January 18, 2014: I wait a bit, I almost forget about the Commission completely because I haven't heard any sort of information from Lambomill. I see that they mention something about moving to Furaffinity, so I follow them on FA and send them a note there asking about it. They respond saying they didn't save the Commission information and to resend it to them, so I do. (see links above) I get absolutely no contact from Lambomill after that point, I try to send them several more notes on FA but they continue to ignore them Febuary: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/80g6109wumaoxym/Another Lambomill FA Note CENSORED.png?dl=0 March: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/d69ezug9w6eb3oe/More FA Lambomill Notes.PNG?dl=0 After March I kind of just gave up for a while, but I was also dealing with a lot of personal things, so I forgot about it almost completely, but I also didn't want to seem too pushy so I tried backing off thinking they would eventually get back to me. Sadly this..didn't happen. December 15, 2014: I send Lambomill a note on their new DA account hoping that they will respond and this whole ordeal would be over. Instead, they read the note but choose not to respond. The only reason I am posting this is because I have no other choice. I contacted Lambomill/Quickmill several times and they have rudely ignored me. Hate to say it, but I no longer respect them as an artist or a person. If they would have just owned up to their mistake, this AB wouldn't be getting posted. I really hate resorting to these measures, but I'm not taking shit from anyone anymore. Weither or not I admire them. At this point I just want a refund, but they wont even give me that. EDIT(12/21/14): Quickmill posted a new journal Titled "2015 Commissions". He responds and..well.. I guess the way to describe it is he tried to bribe me into not getting mad at him? he mentioned doing a Full-Body instead of a Bust in exchange for having to wait so long. I agree, figuring it would make up for the wait. A few days pass and he asks me if he could do line-less instead since they wanted to experiment. Again, I agreed since I thought he might be more willing to do it if he had some artistic freedom. That was on December 31, 2014. I send him another email on January 8th 2015 in hopes to get an update, but I was given no response. I sent another Email Yesterday on January 25th, 2015 stating that I would like a refund. I'll give him about a week, and then from that point I can only assume that Mill has been playing me for a fool the entire time and has no intention of doing my Commission, or anyone elses. My friend referred me to the artist Peachschnapps who was willing and eager to help out for this idea https://www.dropbox.com/s/2c7yiauvkrgy7yv/proof1.jpg?dl=0 We talked about what we wanted for the picture, we came to an agreement and two days later the sketch was made and sent to me https://www.dropbox.com/s/wrbrdd6k44ef20u/proof2.jpg?dl=0 (NSFW) https://www.dropbox.com/s/twzvir8kr01ubu6/xepherych1.png?dl=0 (Sketch of the YCH NSFW) I approved of the idea and chatted about starting bids and such. On February 12th the auction went up live http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12726008/ (NSFW) and ended on February 17th. As you can see from the description, all of the people who bid on the slots had sent payment to the artist (If you want me to ask for receipts of paypal transfers I'll be more than happy to supply) Then suddenly things start to go wrong. The artist ever since recieving the money from the winners, has been missing in action ever since. The last contact I've got to her was back in September 11th saying she's been through a lot with moving & personal problems. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ieirgaj5hepvnyh/proof3.jpg?dl=0 She said that she would send the final refinded sketch the next day. Ever since, she has never responded to either my notes, skype messages, and it's been the same from the slot winners as well. Now I've been told she bought a suit back in August http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14347716/ and have seen pictures of her at other cons this year such as Anthrocon, IFC & most recently MFF http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15177407/ (Which I had no idea that she was attending, if I knew I would had talked to her about this) I've have tried constantly talking to her on Skype whenever she has been on, but the moment I send her a message, she instantly goes offline. I don't know any other contact information for this artist besides FA & Skype. Update: 3/30/15: So after trying a few more times contacting her about the YCH auction and letting her know that she was posted on here, I actually ran into her into Motor City Fur Con this past weekend, she was very apoligetic to me after finding her and said that she will be refunding everyone who paid for the slots. I have contacted all the users who won in the slots to go message her husband about it. I'll make another update once they (hopefully) get all of their money back

We discussed this new one at a few furmeets and on my other Facebook account (can no longer access so no proof) before the screen shots in June. At the time he sent me $100, I was halfway done with his head. Suddenly, he lost his job, but still wanted the suit. I was dumb enough to send it to him regardless because he wanted it in time for AnthroCon, as he had emphasized, and thought it would potentially put me at risk for a bad review. I was dead wrong. So he went to the convention anyways, another one (or two?) in the following months, not to mention trips out-of-state... He got a job at the beginning of this month (December) and had been talking about paying for stuff back in September, where my other screenshot is. I finally had enough and PMed him about it only to find out that he needs to pay off "outstanding bills", which apparently doesn't include this fursuit. -- Now, I know VERY well that I should not have given him this suit. It's now a bold statement in my TOS. But now he owes me money and I don't know if I'm going to be receiving payment for this or not because he's proven to not really care now that it's in his hands. So, beware. As a seller or as a buyer (he does commissions).

September 25th She posted a journal saying she would be finishing all of the remaining slots this weekend and they would be posted soon and that if anyone wanted changes she would not be able to do them because she has most of them finished already. Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6143034/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/9r28jlu.png October 8th She wasn't heard from again until today stating once again that she would be submitting all of the pics but to be patient because there was over 100 to submit and that she would be opening again after everything was submitted. A lot of people in the comments told her that wasn't a good idea because furaffinity has in their TOS "1.11 - Do not flood. Flooding is when you upload more than 10 submissions or 5 journals in a 24 hour period. " Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6179922/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/TyZws5F.png October 10th She posted that because of the said upload limit that she would only upload 10 to 20 per day so she doesn't flood furaffinity and get in trouble and if she skips your slot not to worry because she's not doing them in slot order. Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6185333/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/TyZws5F.png Did not hear from her besides the occasional pic posting. ( She posted about 9 per week instead of 10-20 per day ) so on October 28th I posted a comment on her journal asking her if everything was okay because she didn't upload things like she said she would. November 2nd She posted a journal stating that she has been busy with studies and work and that she would start posting a few before she went to bed and submit some more when she woke up. On this journal many of us suggested since she had stated that they where all done that she could just upload them all to a stash or dropbox so we could get our art without abusing the upload limit. She replied saying that she didn't think it was right to the commissioners to have to dig through all of those files and we all assured her that we would rather have to dig through for a couple of minutes instead of waiting days for our art. Others have also stated that they have been waiting on their slots from OTHER Iron artist months. So it wasn't only just september's slots being prolonged. She later posting ANOTHER journal saying that she would upload 10 images and then try the dropbox option in the morning. Journal 1: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6237749/ Journal 2: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6237921/ Screencaps in case deleted. http://i.imgur.com/ir8lmoi.png http://i.imgur.com/VVzqywc.png Journal 1 comments: http://i.imgur.com/xhnlJXR.png http://i.imgur.com/2TVf1Cg.png November 7th No one had heard from her and I was becomming irritated and said I honestly didn't believe that she had the work done because she was delaying giving us a dropbox link. This was bad on my part to be honest but I wasn't the only irritated one. November 10th She uploaded a few pieces of art before uploading a personal vent piece along with a journal stating "Hello, I wanted to inform you that in a few hours i submit more pics, and tell them sorry, but I got to be around here I'm not very good spirits I do not want to fail you, because you are the only ones I have not failed to me this year, I promise to finish it all in a week sorry" Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6256675/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/U8CBQK8.png It's November 30th and she hasn't been online since. Other impatient commissioners have been writing shouts some stating they've been waiting 4-5 months. Shouts screencap: http://i.imgur.com/eCiKEIj.png I would not ever recommend commissioning this woman, she seems to not be ready to take commissions in this amount at a time or even at all for that matter. Update. January 3rd. She has come back posting a journal claiming she had lost internet and will be posting the owed art soon just to give her a few days. I wouldn't count this as resolved until she posts said artwork. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6391970/ Update. January 6th. Since October a lot of people had been requesting to change their commissions to single pieces or change the second or third character in their pieces because they had been waiting so long and either the commissioner and their s.o or friends where no longer together and Naomy had stated that she would do all changes requested. ( Journals have since then been deleted, most of the journals I had screenshotted above to be exact. ) I had a simular delema and had noted her with request to change my commissions to three singular pieces instead of three-two character pieces as well as long with a partial refund for the extra characters I never got a response. January 25th. Finally some progress. She posts some of the owed commissions that had been waiting in a dropbox I check eagerly to see that she had posted two out of three of my pieces and to my dismay I see that she didn't do the changes I requested. January 27th-30th. ( I do not have these notes screenshotted but I can screenshot if requested ) I note her AGAIN about the changes. She at first noted me saying she would do the changes but followed an hour later with a note saying "Excuse me, but there was understood your message. if that's the case I'd rather give a full refund. 3 images doing more for you is something i cant do three pics. to be absent although it was my mistake I can not predict such change, sorry, but I'll just give a refund" I saying "Allright. My paypal is "soandso"" and she responds with "ok if you do not mind I pay next week, when you open new slots thanks" I got upset that she was going to be taking more slots even though she hadn't uploaded all the pending ones yet (There are many people she hasn't even drawn yet and has been asking for refsheets again despite her saying she has had all of the pending slots finished) and I replied "Look, I've waited 5 months for my art, art that was suppose to be done by september. I asked for changes before it was even completed and you ignore the changes and tell me you will not do them. I've waited long enough. I would prefer you send me my refund today." She responded saying "I have no money today, sorry" I responded with "Okay. I'll wait till you take more slots but if I don't get it in a week I'm going to get it back through paypal/ my credit card company." and she responded once again with a simple "Oka" She has almost deleted every journal/shout/comment pertaining to the wait for the commissions she owes, people asking refunds, ect since she has returned and from a few people that have already commented on this AB she is even getting hostile over people wanting refunds. I know her artwork is cheap but with her business actions it is certainly not worth the wait IF you even get your art at all. I will not mark as resolved until I get the refund that has been promised. Update Febuary 7th It had been a week since the last message I recieved from her so I noted her saying. "It's been a week Naomy." she responds with "yeah. also not opening slots for the moment" this upset me beyond belief I noted her back saying that it's been a week and that she said she would give me a refund, to either give it or I would get it back from the credit card company which would put her account in bad standing. She read my note but didn't reply, I wrote a shout on her page saying "Still waiting on my refund." which she responds back with "yea is true and I'm not working for now" she doesn't seemed concerned about my refund at all. Still not resolved. March 4th. She has finally refunded me so I would like to mark this as resolved.
  16. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/806042.html G'day, A_B. I only just found out about this community recently. My situation is a few years old, but still on-going. WHO: AlphaSempaiWolvieSyxx WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/alphasempaiwolviesyxx/ WHAT: I commisisioned a pair of black, fur-lined, leather ankle cuffs. WHEN: I sent her payment on August 30, 2012. I checked back in with her in December, 2012; January, 2013; March, 2013; and May, 2013. At least, those are dates I have screenshots of. All my phone records have been lost. I ran into her at RMFC in August, 2014, after which I restored communication to attempt to get a refund. PROOF: EXPLAIN: Wolvie was in town to spend time with her boyfriend, who was my roommate at the time. She showed off some cuffs she made, and offered to make me some for only $40 for a pair. I agreed. She left for home, and I sent money after her. She showed me a design mock-up (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8811669/), but it never got any further than just a drawing in MSPaint. I asked every so often for WIP photos, but never got one. At one point she told me the cuffs were complete, but couldn't send them because ____. She gave so many reasons over the years (or excuses; however you want to look at it), such as, the post office is closed after I get off work, I can't afford postage for Reasons, my car is broken, etc. Fairly believable explanations, but after so many, I could only reason that they were lies, and I wasn't going to get what I paid for. She offered to refund me in the form of Paypal (which I don't have) or in art. I told her I would take check or money order, or the cuffs, but not art; I paid for the cuffs, not art. I dropped out of touch with her after a while, after realizing she used my friendship with my roommate to score some money from me. Recently, after running into her at a local furry convention this year (August 2014), I got back in touch with her at the very beginning of October. She offered to mail a refund AND the cuffs... but, as usual, I got nothing but the same excuses routine I experienced earlier. Beware this artist! RESOLVED: Wolvie contacted me 21 May 2016, offering a full refund on Paypal, which I accepted

Toichi posted another, saying I was harassing him now. (I didn't get a chance to screen shot it as he removed it right after.) The whole time, I calmly tried to reply to his notes, but then after I blocked him as I didn't want to deal with the stress, only to see that he had emailed me and was pestering me on there. 18. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/798153.html WHO: Jencity on deviantART http://jencity.deviantart.com WHERE: deviantART WHAT: 5,000 word horror story with adult content. WHEN: March 8, 2014. First payment was sent around same time. April 12th "delivery payment" was made to get the story. Trouble started since. Commission Details. PROOF: Notes from "when story was done" until she stopped responding. My Note of sending to multiple e-mail addresses. Hospital Journal. Final Note Sent. Second Journal (Her return). EXPLAIN: I responded to an ad Jencity had in the dA forums for writing commissions. We talked via note about the commission details, but I settled on a 5,000 piece that cost $100, with half upfront first and the rest due when the story was done. I did voice concerns that I didn't want the commission to take forever. She assured me that wouldn't happen, that it would only take about two weeks. I sent her the payment and waited. Right away there was problems. Two weeks had already passed and she hadn't even started on the story. Then around mid-April she said that it was ready, sorry for taking so long. That to send the second half of the payment and that she'll send the story. I waited a week and nothing came. When I asked where it was, she apologized and said she'd resend it, that she wasn't at a computer for the entire week. She also said that she'd post it in her gallery. I gave her another address to send it to (that didn't have a spam filter) and said I'd watch her dA page. Another week went by. I sent another note asking where my commission was, that its two weeks since I paid. April 30th I get a blanket message to check her journal. In the journal she says that she's been admitted to the hospital and doesn't know when she'll be back out and that she barely has access to things on her phone. Disgruntled I waited. Two more weeks went by and I figured she'd be out of the hospital by then. I asked her about my commission, but noticed something odd when I landed on her dA page. Her activity in "Recent" showed that she logged in 1 day ago. Also none of my notes past the hospital admittance date had been read. She would log into dA every two days or so. May 30th I had it. I filed a dispute with Paypal over the second amount (as the first one was too far gone to do anything about it. I waited till this date as it was before it reached the 45 day limit, just to be on the safe side if something was amiss.) I also sent a dA Note to her asking either for my commission or my money back. This went by without any contest, and I won the dispute for the second $50. About five days later she posts a journal about "being in the hospital for over a month". She publicly addresses "me" in her journal about the PayPal refund, saying that I "insulted her work ethic" and calls what I did petty. She has read my note over the summer (not sure when, noticed it one day while going through my Sentbox). She has not responded to me directly about this issue since, nor messaged me since her "mass Note" when she entered the hospital. I did file for a chargeback at my bank for the first $50, but that never came through. I cannot find it in the comments on her profile page as it seems to be hidden (I did not think to screenshot them at the time), but I saw something similar happen in 2013, apparently. But someone had commissioned her for a story; Jencity said she sent a copy, uploaded it to her gallery for 24 hours then promptly deleted it because "it wasn't her property anymore and it was undesireable". He had missed this upload window and never received her e-mail and came asking for her to resend the story. She didn't because "I don't own it and I deleted it for reasons." There was some back and forth but she gave the guy a refund but the guy still wanted the piece. I should have taken it as a forewarning of things to come. There was also another incident which showed up in the forums via search here: http://forum.deviantart.com/jobs/services/1831421/

(( White’d out line is my Paypal.)) http://sta.sh/0s3ep1qtzbf The finished Commission. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14467267/ EXPLAIN: I never thought I’d have to post a Artist Beware, too be honest I thought I would’ve been posted on here due to some idiotic things I had done when initially starting commissions. I’ve never had a issue like this, someone not paying me for my services. So I’m deeply saddened by this as she was very responsive and kind when talking with me. I was a idiot and finished her commission, as I was motivated and excited to be working on it or her. She asked for some edits which I accepted to do.. and then she never replied back. I’ve since switched to doing invoices and a more acceptable payment procedure. But I know she commissions other people, so I’m just putting this up here in-case it happens again. Edits for spelling. Update, 9/29/2014. Kingyosmemaru has gotten back into contact with me to work something out.

The commission was $130 in total for a full color three character piece with background. I received the sketch on April 8th of this year. Once I receive the preview sketch, I sent the payment on that same day. Ever since I have receive the sketch and sent the payment, the communication has decreased, immensely. I have gotten about 2-3 emails from this artist since April, the last one being on June 5. In those emails, I was told multiple times that the commission was nearly finished but still have not gotten the finished product. In the last email I got on June 5th, I was told that he had a hard drive issue in which all of his work had been erased. However, he still told me I was going to get an update or have the finished picture done within 1-2 days, and yet, nothing. I have sent multiple emails, along with my friend doing so too, to this artist and noted him on FA and neither of us have not received any response from the artist. He is, however, somewhat active as he has uploaded content to FA at the end of June and beginning of July, however he still hasn't been responsive on when he would be finished with the work. I'm writing this because the amount of communication is slim to none, and it's ironic that it happened once payment was sent. The artist is still around as he has favorite'd a piece on FA back on August 10th, the note I sent to him back in June is still left unanswered. I did manage to talk to one of his other commissioners and this person has not received an email from the artist since May. I don't know his issue but not responding to any emails has infuriated my friend and I as we are looking for answers. Current Mood: Infuriated

(1) They responded with a “no problem!” just a few days later and then noted me with questions about details and their PayPal. (2) I responded with what I was looking for as well as the payment. (3) They then added me to the queue that was in the aforementioned journal. (5) -Feb 2014- I left a shout on Knon’s page (4) asking if they would add the queue in the journal to the queue that was listed in their homepage. No response or action was taken by the artist. I decided to send the artist a note asking for a refund. The note shown as being read but was not directly responded to. (6) -May 2014- I decided to send a friendly note to a person who frequently commissions this artist and asked if this lack of response was normal and whether or not to worry. I was assured it was normal and things were fine. Just a few days after that, the artist posted a journal saying that things were fine, they were alive, and would get back to people that wanted refunds. (7) -August 2014- I sent a note again asking for my refund. The note was neither read nor responded to. (8) A week later I sent a final note asking for a refund within 24 hours or I would resort to posting an A_B. (9) That was now 2 weeks ago. I believe I also sent a Skype message to the artist within this time period, as their Skype info is posted on their home page, but I don’t know how to go about getting evidence of that. So now here we are. This is my first post to A_B as well as my first time ever dealing with Livejournal, so I apologize for any mistakes in this. Thank you for your time.

(*note that I sent this payment just before midnight on May 3rd) Preview for only one of the designs received on May 26th, 2014. Updated preview for the same design received on June 1st, 2014. Contact bump + A_B warning sent on August 2nd, 2014. PROOF: All Notes (sent + received) as well as PayPal's proof of payment shown in this image: http://i.imgur.com/uQdAqrg.png EXPLAIN: I first contacted Starmony to ask if her 'Bunicorn' character was from a closed species or not, because I was interested in making/purchasing one. She replied to me stating that while they were a closed species, she would be happy to make a custom for me. I explained that I was interested in buying a pair of customs, and gave details about inspiration and colour palettes. We exchanged information, payment was sent, and only one of the designs was ever shown to me having been worked on. I have never received proof that the other design was even started. All interaction, discussing payment and design elements of the two designs have been pleasant and fine until June of this year. Once before this point communication had been slow, as seen in the PROOF screenshot, but I too know how it is to just step away from a site for a little while. I was okay with this because communication seemed to be okay after that, and I had been given proof of work. However it has been two months now since I sent a reply to her on June 2nd, and she has (at the time of writing this) not opened that Note. I have sent a 'warning' Note to her on August 2nd, but this Note too has not been opened. I understand taking your time on something, and I also understand that sometimes struggles happen with designs. What I don't appreciate though is a complete lack of communication, especially paired with total inactivity on the site itself. While I would love to have both completed designs still, at this point they have lost their luster to me and I would accept a refund. Since partial work on one of the designs was given to me, I would accept a partial refund, and keep the unfinished design if the artist so chooses. Since it has been months since this transaction began, I am not sure if I can request a refund via PayPal or not, so I am hoping to work this out with the artist herself. I will update this post with any new information when I receive it. EDIT OCTOBER 5TH 2015: I have received a full refund from Starmony with help through a friend of hers, Lunarisse. This issue may be marked as resolved.

They wanted to commission a hooded capelet from me, I recognized the character and asked if they owned it. They said yes. I did a few quick minutes of googling and there were no references to who actually bought Echo, and no one knew an FA name on the con pics people had taken of her, so I foolishly took their word and didn't think much of it. After I made it and posted it, saying I didn't know Echo's FA name, the real owner posted and said she didn't commission me. My response to both the real owner Kat and the original commissioner were a bit more emotional than I prefer to be when dealing with customers, but this was a pretty stressful situation for me, and it is what it is. I've definitely learned to fact check characters beyond taking someone's word for it. I wish I knew their fandom name but I don't. I'm just posting this in hopes that if they contact another etsy maker to do this, they might see it and decline.

Also, I marked out the NSFW body part words if you are wondering about the extra two purple marks) On April 11, almost a month later, I requested an update and here is our conversation via notes: http://i.imgur.com/dRIrn6r.png On April 19, after finding out I wasn't the only one having trouble getting their commission from her too, I decided to request a refund instead: http://i.imgur.com/ynXIhht.png On April 26 she sent me a link to the Sai file of the YCH sketch, I guess? I don't have Sai so I've never opened it and I didn't ask because all I want is the refund. Here's that note though: http://i.imgur.com/GjO6wIN.png On June 9 I requested another update on the refund and on June 11th I received this: http://i.imgur.com/iyvfltl.png It has been more than enough time and at this point I do not honestly believe that I will ever get a refund. I would not recommend her to anyone.
