On the front page it looked like there was a new upload, thought it might have been the backlog, but its a new account that's uploading old commissions and new YCHs.

Touching upon the additional information provided in the comment, we have looked into the alternative account mentioned. Both are linked through an art raffle initially announcing the move to a new account, but reverting back to the previous account.

In addition to this, their twitter handle has been updated once more. The tags now reflect these changes.

For those affected by the present circumstances, it wouldn't hurt to check out the discord server to see how things are being addressed.

As it stands, any direct line to BV via FA seems to be rather moot. Their other partner, Sakoda, has not been outwardly involved with things as much as Sebastian has.

It would likely depend on how many reports have been made about BV regarding their site violations by independent parties.

The involvement of their partner Sebastian is a direct violation of the site TOS, but if they keep getting hit by an automated process vs user reports, it's entirely possible that this is why we continue to see them go on and off with suspensions.

While FA does stay out of user-user affairs in this realm, it isn't unheard of to get yourself permanently suspended for an excessive commission backlog with numerous complaints in their wake. I recall this happening with Falvie some years ago and the most notable example was Cashoo (who completely turned around and made good on their past mistakes)

We definitely encourage you to share your experiences in your own submission to us. It is disheartening to hear that this is true, but a fresh submission helps boost the metrics and visibility of these bewares to our community.

None of the submissions thus far have mentioned this, it would be much larger issue if this is the case.
To abstain from spreading misinformation, we would need the individuals who have experienced this to come forward, not a third party.

Note that when this happens, their partner always spams their shouts, and then they begin advertising commissions through their account.


They both seem to be keen on advertising new work, but not addressing the backlog. As much as they want to claim its a minor issue with the mods, they continued to make accounts to skirt their suspensions. This is just blatant disregard for site policy and its astonishing how cavalier they both are when she's getting shut down like this.

I see that you've now deemed it resolved, but I have a few things that catch my eye as a community member in reading this post.

Due to the nature of this particular type of commission, I definitely understand a prolonged timeframe in having it delivered in full.
Throw in the pandemic to top it all off, and it hindered a lot of creatives to different degrees.

While this artist has definitely dropped the ball in communication at a couple of points, you have also dropped off without responses to the artist at a few instances here, it paints an inconsistent picture as an outsider.

And lastly? You've stated that communication has broken down, but you haven't shown a response to their message from earlier this month.
Given the multiple factors to consider for this type of commission; i.e. talent scouting, script writing and the eventual recording, its befuddling that you denied the refund you've been offered for the project.

Caudle has expressed wanting to continue working with you in the future in spite of all of the delays, and offered to refund you in full. It seems unfair to put this firmly on them when the multiple variables in getting this sort of project off the ground have been very visible and clearly stated to you as a client.

Had I been in your shoes, I would have bowed out and continued the project another time.

While its possible that she cleans up her shouts, it does look like her twitter DMs are open.

So if you're not comfortable in starting your own thread on the matter, you do have the ability to reach out to her through there.

Especially since it looks like they've been cross-posting their adopts for sale. Couldn't hurt, but ultimately it is up to you.

Targeted harassment, regardless of intention is not tolerated. While the situation can be frustrating, this is not how things of this nature are resolved.

This is the sixth post about their poor practices and things have not been addressed in the slightest. And I don't doubt that many others who have not made their story public have felt these same frustrations.

You can have all the best intentions in the world, but unfortunately all of this falls on the artist. Whether they want to make the changes or if they want to continue the cycle and dig the hole deeper. We've seen some severe cases turn it around over the years, but that took so much time and dedication to make those sweeping changes.

As it stands, I don't see BV changing those bad habits, not until enough people speak up to make a significant impact on her business.

It's unfortunate to see that this is a pattern with this artist.
But I do think you need to treat your art purchases as proper transactions in the future, OP.

I can understand being chummy and friendly with someone, but you two entered into a business transaction and the communication regarding it should be held to a different standard. Not everyone's experience is universal, but posting random gifs/memes to initiate a conversation regarding your commission can be off-putting to someone who may not be fully familiar with you.

This artist's practices are not okay, but I wouldn't even know where to begin if someone just spammed me with random gifs to get me to talk. To the wrong person, it might trigger anxiety if you're not straight-forward about your intentions and that can make things worse down the line.

Staff has been provided proof linking these accounts to this sole paypal address from other parties who have had business dealings with this user under the listed aliases in the post.

Due to the circumstances of this situation, the paypal address relating to this individual will be presented publicly, but their legal name will remain censored.

VosurAekira is offering you advice on the presumption that you have a claim to make as a CLIENT who has been scammed for non-delivery of goods.
You cannot use Paypal's claims system to force the client to pay you for the other transactions that pertained to your particular circumstances.

While it's listed as a donation, I as a user of the service, had to go in and mark my transactions as "processed" back when I used the service, and iirc I was able to issue a refund if needed. Though to confirm is a bit difficult since I'm long out of that window, unfortunately!
So its not exactly the same as the traditional method of receiving a donation through the platform.

As guppygoopy here was using the service for commissions, the OP has a strong case to attempt to get their money back.

Ko-fi also happens to offer a commissions widget on their platform, but as far as I am aware it is only limited to Paid users of the platform, not so much the rest of the userbase.
