https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/812751.html First time posting here, don't kill me if I do something wrong. 😛 WHO: Rurouna/Skinnedwulf WHERE: http://rurouna.deviantart.com/ http://skinnedwulf.deviantart.com/ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/rurouna/ WHAT: Traditional media art trade of our characters. I made my half quickly, but she still hasn't shown me even a simple sketch of her half and it's been a long time. WHEN: Trade details discussed in August 2012, I posted my half to DA in 11th of August, 2012. PROOF: I think I posted a journal where I asked if anyone was interested in trades, Rurouna answered to it and I then noted her. The journal has since been removed but I've got some other evidence. Our first conversation: https://imageshack.com/i/pa2sMi0Pp My half: http://naravox.deviantart.com/art/Rurouna-320534981 After some time I noted her taxidermy account: https://imageshack.com/i/ipCvldKqp Again, after another lenghty wait I messaged her again: https://imageshack.com/i/idDepjOxp She hasn't replied to me anymore and has deactivated the Skinnedwulf account. EXPLAIN: So yeah, in August 2012 we agreed to do a trade, I finished and posted mine a few days later. So far I haven't received their half, only empty promises that the piece is either almost done or done, ready to be scanned or ready to be mailed and yet I never see it. During these years I have contacted her maybe once or twice more about this issue than what you can see in the proof section, but can no longer find those messages. I never wanted to sound demanding or too pushy. However I'm done with waiting now. It would have been nice to get an honest response that the trade ain't gonna be done due to reason X, but instead she kept promising me she's gonna scan or mail it as soon as possible. I honestly don't believe she ever drew it.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/812292.html WHO: Nathradas/Sturmschwinge WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Full color single character piece, no background. This is a follow up posting to my previous entries seen here: http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/679299.html http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/724656.html I am mostly posting this to advise others that this artist has not refunded me or the other people she owes and has in fact, skipped accounts, while claiming that she has no inspiration and can't meet her obligations. PROOF: On Nov. 4th, 2013, Nathradas posts this journal explaining her situation. Feeling pretty fed up at this point, I do post a response because I've really had enough of this, especially when I've only found out about her leaving the internet "forever" months after the fact. At the beginning of July, this year, a personal friend of Nathradas sends me a private message informing me of her new accounts. I have edited out the username and any incriminating details as per the user's request. Another person who knows Nathradas in person messages me on Twitter to inform me that she is at EF, taking commissions, and is using her new username on FA as well as Weasyl and Tumblr. I fire a note over to her on Weasyl, this note has still gone unread. I tried messaging her on FA, this note has still gone unread. The second comment I have left on her userpage- the first one was deleted within a week of it's posting and I neglected to screencap it as proof. EXPLAIN: I have been pursuing this transaction for just over three years with very, very little success. This artist has ignored correspondence, taken on commissions while still owing others work and/or refunds, and then has gone so far as to abandon her previous account and responsibilities to start anew with a new username. At this point, I just want others to be very much aware of this person's business practices and to think twice about paying Nathradas for art because there's a huge possibility that they will never see their art or a refund. [edit]I have been blocked from her page. [edit]I have received a third party refund on behalf of the artist.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/812055.html Who: TojotheThief: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/tojo-the-thief Where: purchase was made on Furaffinity, progressed to email because the artist does not have notes enabled on FA. What: The purchase was several vinyl stickers. When: original purchase was made in August, stickers were to be delivered in October. Proof: screenshots to follow Explanation: basically, I purchased several vinyl stickers from Tojo in august. She has since deleted the post on FA, so I do not have a screenshot of the stickers. They were dragon stickers that said F*** You Im a Dragon. I contacted her to find out the delivery date, and was told in october. I again waited patiently and contacted her about them after that date had passed. She said she had difficulties with her original printer, and was having to go with a different printer. I attempted to contact her to talk about getting a refund, at which point she told me the stickers were already printed and on their way to her. She told me that she would only refund me the price minus the printing cost. As these are NOT customized stickers, they are generic stickers, I feel that she could easily sell the stickers I do not want and I should be entitled to the full refund. She has refused. Paypal has stated that it is past the date that I can ask for a refund, so at this point, she has my money and will not give me a full refund. I no longer want the stickers at all. At the moment, she has my money AND the stickers. Resolution: Refund has been given, issue is considered resolved.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/811861.html WHO: Nayel-ie, Nayelfox WHERE: FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/nayel-ie/ Due to Nayel-ie requesting to the mods that all other links should be removed, I have removed them. You can still find her on DA, Weasyl, FB, Tumblr, Instagram, and with her TOS Homepage on Wordpress. You should be able to guess her username 😃 WHAT: Digital Drawing of my OC, later changed to Digital Drawing of Krystal from Star Fox WHEN: Initial contact was on December, 31st 2013. Payment was completed on the same day. Contacted her about the commission at 23.01.2014, 03.02.2014, 21.03.2014, 07-12.05.2014, 14-20.11.2014, 21.11.2014, 08.12.2014 EXPLAIN: Commissioned a digital drawing of my OC on Dec, 31st 2013 when she told during her stream that she needed quick money for some medical bills. I later changed that commission, with her consent, to "draw whatever you like" since she posted that she never had time to draw stuff she likes, because she is always occupied with commissions. She then started drawing Krystal from Star Fox during one of her streams crediting it to me. She never finished that drawing and when I asked about it she always told me that it would be continued shortly. In my latest inquiry I only get very short, unprofessional and quite rough answers that she will do it when she has done the newly-accepted commissions. She, however, has no problem with accepting discounted commissions with the promise of "tonight completion". I had commissioned her before and got time image completed in a very timely manner (if I remember correctly it was below a week, which is very fast), hence I didn't think that it would take THIS long... PROOF: Since I'm not a huge fan of posting several images, I will post you the links with a small explanation. All images are SFW! 31.12.2013: First contact. I wrote her the note after I had watched her stream and saw that she needed money. I would have donated it at this point, but since I don't like the concept of a donation very much I asked for a commission. This includes the PayPal address (censored) and payment details. http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6291/ErXrK4.jpg (Censored) PayPal payment details for the transaction: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6007/QlPlw3.jpg 23.01.2014: Second contact. I wrote this note after I had read in one of her journals that she had very little time to draw for herself, since she was always occupied with commissions. So I offered that she could use the time she would take for my commission to draw something that she enjoyed. She asked me what I wanted but I thought that would defeat the purpose of the idea. http://imageshack.com/a/img674/8775/er8scm.jpg 03.02.2014: Third contact. This time she wrote me a note when she had an idea that she could draw Krystal from Star Fox. Of course I agreed, and thus the change of my commission was official. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/683/pXwRe9.jpg 21.03.2014: Fourth contact. I wrote her a mail (during this time, her preferred way of contact) after she wrote a journal about all the commissions she still owed. If we didn't see our name on that list we should write her a mail, which i promptly did. http://imageshack.com/a/img912/5250/2AiLOr.jpg 07.05.2014: She then did a journal (again) asking for everyone who she owed commissions to, to write her a mail - she needed this for sorting. A screenshot of said journal is included below: http://imageshack.com/a/img746/5023/opGVke.jpg 07-12.05.2014: Fifth contact. My mail answering her call to the journal above. During this mail I offered to take a different form of compensation for my money (Sketches, Lineart), because I was learning to draw and would have used those as study objects. She refused and reassured me that she was still doing the Krystal picture. http://imageshack.com/a/img908/9935/spVJNi.jpg 14.11.2014: She created two journals selling discounted commissions. One with a promised "tonight completion" turnaround. She even said that she would stream those commissions on her Livestream. http://imageshack.com/a/img537/5365/vUF9c9.jpg 14-20.11.2014: Sixth contact: I noted her about my commission and this time I didn't get a single friendly reply like in the last notes or mails. She seemed very short tempered and busy and didn't answer any of my questions in a manner that I would expect from a professional artist. In between I even asked for some better communication, but this request was simply ignored. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/3372/lwW0Lr.jpg 21.11.2014: Seventh contact: I sent her a note after I spoke with my lawyer about possible legal steps. I've set a deadline to give her enough time to either finish the image, refund me or find a suitable solution. The deadline got extended, since she wasn't at home until 2 weeks later. http://imageshack.com/a/img538/1575/RCT3Ov.jpg 08.12.2014: Eighth contact: I sent her a reminder since she should have already been back from her trip. http://imageshack.com/a/img901/1170/O7lI6S.jpg Well I haven't heard anything after that. Now I think about suing her for fraud, which would be a felony. Sure, it would cost me a lot of money beforehand (would have to hire a lawyer in Canada .. from Germany) but since I can throw all those charges at her I am not very worried about it, especially since I have a legal insurance which would cover those things as well. reading the comments on the other A_B posts about her (http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/807348.html and http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/802050.html) she seems to owe art for multiple thousands of dollars.. however she doesn't have a problem scamming those customers and accepting new commissions or even do free art streams: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/7766/1U0E19.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4571/cT7WqP.jpg PS: As for everyone that she owes commissions to, I can only give the advice to REPORT her to PayPal. You won't get your money back (unless you have purchased physical goods from her), but the more people report fraudulent transactions with her account the more likely it is that they will investigate and/or stop her from using PayPal which would slow her shenanigans down by a huge amount, at least for future commissioners. -> and no, if she would like to issue a refund with PayPal they would gladly allow those transactions, even if they banned her from using it! UPDATE: I had to remove all links to her profiles, except her FA page. Nayel-ie requested this from the mods and I complied. Here are a screencap of her old TOS, since she changed her since. http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4160/YVbr3S.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img538/5366/a0a8pW.jpg Also I received a reply to one of my last notes and she said that she would complete the image in the following days. http://imageshack.com/a/img913/9884/BjG2FC.jpg 2 days later (the day she wanted to give me the image) I watched one of her Livestreams and she showed me (and the other viewers) a progress shot. The image was 80% completed at that time, thus I gave her 2 additional days. Since I didn't hear anything from her after that I sent another note. http://imageshack.com/a/img910/6646/h96zQF.jpg On December, 21st I received a note with a link to the final image (FA Version shown below) which brings this annoying journey to an end. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15279262/ It's sad that you have to threaten an artist with legal action for their own incompetence to stick to a contract. It's also sad that Nayel-ie never apologized for the delay or her attitude. It looks to me like she thinks she's done everything right and has nothing to fear. Well from a legal standpoint that might be correct at least with this case. I just hope that her other customers are just as "lucky" to get their work done as well.. there are far to many out there who have to wait for their art; Art they already have paid for.

However, I have sent them several notes on several accounts and they have either read the note and not responded, or ignored my messages completely. I asked if they could either finish the Commission that I payed for, or refund me the $15. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they have chosen to not respond. I would be less irked if they would just reply to me and let me know what the heck is going on. January 6, 2014:So first I send Lambomill a note in January asking for a flat colored bust Commission of one of my characters. they accept and I send them the payment. (see links above) January 18, 2014: I wait a bit, I almost forget about the Commission completely because I haven't heard any sort of information from Lambomill. I see that they mention something about moving to Furaffinity, so I follow them on FA and send them a note there asking about it. They respond saying they didn't save the Commission information and to resend it to them, so I do. (see links above) I get absolutely no contact from Lambomill after that point, I try to send them several more notes on FA but they continue to ignore them Febuary: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/80g6109wumaoxym/Another Lambomill FA Note CENSORED.png?dl=0 March: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/d69ezug9w6eb3oe/More FA Lambomill Notes.PNG?dl=0 After March I kind of just gave up for a while, but I was also dealing with a lot of personal things, so I forgot about it almost completely, but I also didn't want to seem too pushy so I tried backing off thinking they would eventually get back to me. Sadly this..didn't happen. December 15, 2014: I send Lambomill a note on their new DA account hoping that they will respond and this whole ordeal would be over. Instead, they read the note but choose not to respond. The only reason I am posting this is because I have no other choice. I contacted Lambomill/Quickmill several times and they have rudely ignored me. Hate to say it, but I no longer respect them as an artist or a person. If they would have just owned up to their mistake, this AB wouldn't be getting posted. I really hate resorting to these measures, but I'm not taking shit from anyone anymore. Weither or not I admire them. At this point I just want a refund, but they wont even give me that. EDIT(12/21/14): Quickmill posted a new journal Titled "2015 Commissions". I left a comment in hopes they will respond Journal: http://quickmill.deviantart.com/journal/2015-Commissions-501631747 Screenshot: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/9tmo068x0qjkl36/screencapture-quickmill-deviantart-com-journal-2015-Commissions-501631747.png?dl=0 EDIT (same day as above): I get a comment from Quickmill telling me to send them an email that is listed in the journal. I do, however I am yet to get a response. Hopefully within the next few days I will receive one. Screenshot: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/vo4wa5rhly396mw/Journal Comment quickmill.PNG?dl=0 EDIT Dec 21 2014- Jan 25 2015+: On December 21st I send Lambomill/Quickmill/Cozrion (his new DA name) an email asking for an update on my Commission. He responds and..well.. I guess the way to describe it is he tried to bribe me into not getting mad at him? he mentioned doing a Full-Body instead of a Bust in exchange for having to wait so long. I agree, figuring it would make up for the wait. A few days pass and he asks me if he could do line-less instead since they wanted to experiment. Again, I agreed since I thought he might be more willing to do it if he had some artistic freedom. That was on December 31, 2014. I send him another email on January 8th 2015 in hopes to get an update, but I was given no response. I sent another Email Yesterday on January 25th, 2015 stating that I would like a refund. I'll give him about a week, and then from that point I can only assume that Mill has been playing me for a fool the entire time and has no intention of doing my Commission, or anyone elses. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/811477.html WHO: Peachschnapps WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/peachschnapps/ WHAT: YCH auction WHEN: Started planning auction February 4th 2014, Auction went live February 12th 2014 So back in early February I had an idea to host a YCH auction with my fursona in it, I needed to find an artist who would be willing to collaberate with me with the idea. My friend referred me to the artist Peachschnapps who was willing and eager to help out for this idea https://www.dropbox.com/s/2c7yiauvkrgy7yv/proof1.jpg?dl=0 We talked about what we wanted for the picture, we came to an agreement and two days later the sketch was made and sent to me https://www.dropbox.com/s/wrbrdd6k44ef20u/proof2.jpg?dl=0 (NSFW) https://www.dropbox.com/s/twzvir8kr01ubu6/xepherych1.png?dl=0 (Sketch of the YCH NSFW) I approved of the idea and chatted about starting bids and such. On February 12th the auction went up live http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12726008/ (NSFW) and ended on February 17th. As you can see from the description, all of the people who bid on the slots had sent payment to the artist (If you want me to ask for receipts of paypal transfers I'll be more than happy to supply) Then suddenly things start to go wrong. The artist ever since recieving the money from the winners, has been missing in action ever since. The last contact I've got to her was back in September 11th saying she's been through a lot with moving & personal problems. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ieirgaj5hepvnyh/proof3.jpg?dl=0 She said that she would send the final refinded sketch the next day. Ever since, she has never responded to either my notes, skype messages, and it's been the same from the slot winners as well. Now I've been told she bought a suit back in August http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14347716/ and have seen pictures of her at other cons this year such as Anthrocon, IFC & most recently MFF http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15177407/ (Which I had no idea that she was attending, if I knew I would had talked to her about this) I've have tried constantly talking to her on Skype whenever she has been on, but the moment I send her a message, she instantly goes offline. I don't know any other contact information for this artist besides FA & Skype. Update: 3/30/15: So after trying a few more times contacting her about the YCH auction and letting her know that she was posted on here, I actually ran into her into Motor City Fur Con this past weekend, she was very apoligetic to me after finding her and said that she will be refunding everyone who paid for the slots. I have contacted all the users who won in the slots to go message her husband about it. I'll make another update once they (hopefully) get all of their money back

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/810690.html WHO: VeilShadepaw WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/veilshadepaw/ WHAT: Fursuit commission payment. We discussed this new one at a few furmeets and on my other Facebook account (can no longer access so no proof) before the screen shots in June. At the time he sent me $100, I was halfway done with his head. Suddenly, he lost his job, but still wanted the suit. I was dumb enough to send it to him regardless because he wanted it in time for AnthroCon, as he had emphasized, and thought it would potentially put me at risk for a bad review. I was dead wrong. So he went to the convention anyways, another one (or two?) in the following months, not to mention trips out-of-state... He got a job at the beginning of this month (December) and had been talking about paying for stuff back in September, where my other screenshot is. I finally had enough and PMed him about it only to find out that he needs to pay off "outstanding bills", which apparently doesn't include this fursuit. -- Now, I know VERY well that I should not have given him this suit. It's now a bold statement in my TOS. But now he owes me money and I don't know if I'm going to be receiving payment for this or not because he's proven to not really care now that it's in his hands. So, beware. As a seller or as a buyer (he does commissions).

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/810160.html WHO: Crystal-for-ever WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/crystal-for-ever/ WHAT: Two Character Private Wing-It Commission for 75 USD WHEN: First inquiry of commission on April 24th, 2013. One response on June 24th 2013. No further responses afterward. PROOF: Our Chat Payment EXPLAIN: "Our Chat" link is what has transpired so far, but I'll explain it a little further. I first requested for an idea back on April 24th 2013 for two of my characters in an adult situation. Although it was slightly complex, she accepted the idea without any questions and I proceed to send her the money amount of 75 US dollars. A few months later, I was a little worried about my picture and jump the gun a bit on noting her about it on June 24 of the same year. She mention she had art block, which didn't seem right to me, but I gave her a chance since it was a few months after all. So maybe it'll be done sooner than expect if I leave her alone. But clearly she believe that giving her time is eqivalent to next year. Fast forward to this year on the same day of requesting the picture, I asked for her for some type of alternative to make my idea easier since she had computer troubles (the idea was macro related, but nothing too complex). However, I was given the silent treatment and was slowly losing patience each month that rolled by this year. Wondering if this has happen to anyone else, I kept track on watching this website to see if anyone have been a victum of her practices, but apparently it was still clear as daisy for her. So I waited a little while longer until I checked back her today. I noticed that two other guys have been waiting for a while as I have. One I heard didn't have a good picture and the other one waited over a year. So I was left with no choice and put my foot down with my latest note in the "Our Chat" screencap. I should've realized that with her polices should've been a turn off for me from the get go, but I get what I asked for. Wasted time, money and annoyance. It's sad because I really did like her work when I first watched her and she delivered me two previous commissions I asked for in a timely fashion. And then weirdly this situation happens. I still want to give her options, but she's quickly losing them every time she sits idle on them. So just a future warning to anyone that wants to buy from her. You're going to wait an extra long time or forever if you ask for a commission request from her and her polices speaks for that problem. EDITED 12/12/14: The moment I made my last post, she finally contacted me back and we work out some things. I accept her offer to make my picture by the year's end instead but I will still hold the idea of wanting a refund if something goes wrong. She tired to put some guilt on me for not contacting her before posting this journal. True, a bit preemptive on my part, but both response time of notes and the limbo nature for this commission seems like reasonable ground to warrant one anyways. EDITED 10:30 PM EST: I can't show it since its private, but the commission has been deliveried to me. I decided the commission is good enough to not ask for anything further. So I claim this beware resolved. However, I will update the Our Chat if anything else develops.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/809651.html [Editor's note: There are images in the LiveJournal post that require an account to view.] Who: Rainfurr/bluueseyler Where: http://furaffinity.net/user/rainfurr What: Refund for unfinished fursuit handpaws When: Approx November 2013 to present It all started with a Livejournal post that I can’t currently find, offering handpaws and other body parts, likely on fursuitauctions. I stated I was interested, and we exchanged information. All went well (she replied fast, proved she bought materials via receipts, etc) until I lost contact with her on LJ around November 2013, which is a little after she had ordered the materials from DVC. The following is notes from Furaffinity after I messaged her on there in January 2014. This is where the problems start. Basically she had animal troubles and couldn't finish the paws. She offered to refund the money, which I accepted. I got one refund in January, and that was it. I contacted her several more times throughout 2014 but didn't get a refund or many replies. In January, I got a single refund as shown below. Proof I paid a total of $120 (and that this started in November). As the notes show, I asked in June and was told I’d get a refund soon. That didn’t happen. Six months go by to now, and I message her again this morning. Waiting for a reply, and posted on here in case that falls through. So far, the only refund I got was January 2014, for $30. I’m not sure what else I can do, but I’m not letting this money go and intend to do everything I can to get what she owes.

WHO: Naomy. WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/naomy/ WHAT: Three iron artist slots for the month of september WHEN: August 20th up until the current date. PROOF: Down below. EXPLAIN: On August 20th I noticed Naomy had opened for iron artist slots for the month of September. She sells them for a reasonable price so they sell like hotcakes so I jumped on the opportunity and ordered 3 slots. Journal for proof: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6041794/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/bVhK71y.png My comment claiming the slots http://i.imgur.com/InbW1Jo.png Note proving I ordered and paid: http://i.imgur.com/BOYcTmw.png I was slot number 7, 8 and 9 so I expected to get them within the first week or two of September and when I didn't I thought maybe she would upload all of them at once at the end of September so I did not worry. September 25th She posted a journal saying she would be finishing all of the remaining slots this weekend and they would be posted soon and that if anyone wanted changes she would not be able to do them because she has most of them finished already. Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6143034/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/9r28jlu.png October 8th She wasn't heard from again until today stating once again that she would be submitting all of the pics but to be patient because there was over 100 to submit and that she would be opening again after everything was submitted. A lot of people in the comments told her that wasn't a good idea because furaffinity has in their TOS "1.11 - Do not flood. Flooding is when you upload more than 10 submissions or 5 journals in a 24 hour period. " Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6179922/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/TyZws5F.png October 10th She posted that because of the said upload limit that she would only upload 10 to 20 per day so she doesn't flood furaffinity and get in trouble and if she skips your slot not to worry because she's not doing them in slot order. Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6185333/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/TyZws5F.png Did not hear from her besides the occasional pic posting. ( She posted about 9 per week instead of 10-20 per day ) so on October 28th I posted a comment on her journal asking her if everything was okay because she didn't upload things like she said she would. November 2nd She posted a journal stating that she has been busy with studies and work and that she would start posting a few before she went to bed and submit some more when she woke up. On this journal many of us suggested since she had stated that they where all done that she could just upload them all to a stash or dropbox so we could get our art without abusing the upload limit. She replied saying that she didn't think it was right to the commissioners to have to dig through all of those files and we all assured her that we would rather have to dig through for a couple of minutes instead of waiting days for our art. Others have also stated that they have been waiting on their slots from OTHER Iron artist months. So it wasn't only just september's slots being prolonged. She later posting ANOTHER journal saying that she would upload 10 images and then try the dropbox option in the morning. Journal 1: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6237749/ Journal 2: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6237921/ Screencaps in case deleted. http://i.imgur.com/ir8lmoi.png http://i.imgur.com/VVzqywc.png Journal 1 comments: http://i.imgur.com/xhnlJXR.png http://i.imgur.com/2TVf1Cg.png November 7th No one had heard from her and I was becomming irritated and said I honestly didn't believe that she had the work done because she was delaying giving us a dropbox link. This was bad on my part to be honest but I wasn't the only irritated one. November 10th She uploaded a few pieces of art before uploading a personal vent piece along with a journal stating "Hello, I wanted to inform you that in a few hours i submit more pics, and tell them sorry, but I got to be around here I'm not very good spirits I do not want to fail you, because you are the only ones I have not failed to me this year, I promise to finish it all in a week sorry" Journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6256675/ Screencap in case deleted: http://i.imgur.com/U8CBQK8.png It's November 30th and she hasn't been online since. Other impatient commissioners have been writing shouts some stating they've been waiting 4-5 months. Shouts screencap: http://i.imgur.com/eCiKEIj.png I would not ever recommend commissioning this woman, she seems to not be ready to take commissions in this amount at a time or even at all for that matter. Update. January 3rd. She has come back posting a journal claiming she had lost internet and will be posting the owed art soon just to give her a few days. I wouldn't count this as resolved until she posts said artwork. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6391970/ Update. January 6th. Since October a lot of people had been requesting to change their commissions to single pieces or change the second or third character in their pieces because they had been waiting so long and either the commissioner and their s.o or friends where no longer together and Naomy had stated that she would do all changes requested. ( Journals have since then been deleted, most of the journals I had screenshotted above to be exact. ) I had a simular delema and had noted her with request to change my commissions to three singular pieces instead of three-two character pieces as well as long with a partial refund for the extra characters I never got a response. January 25th. Finally some progress. She posts some of the owed commissions that had been waiting in a dropbox I check eagerly to see that she had posted two out of three of my pieces and to my dismay I see that she didn't do the changes I requested. January 27th-30th. ( I do not have these notes screenshotted but I can screenshot if requested ) I note her AGAIN about the changes. She at first noted me saying she would do the changes but followed an hour later with a note saying "Excuse me, but there was understood your message. if that's the case I'd rather give a full refund. 3 images doing more for you is something i cant do three pics. to be absent although it was my mistake I can not predict such change, sorry, but I'll just give a refund" I saying "Allright. My paypal is "soandso"" and she responds with "ok if you do not mind I pay next week, when you open new slots thanks" I got upset that she was going to be taking more slots even though she hadn't uploaded all the pending ones yet (There are many people she hasn't even drawn yet and has been asking for refsheets again despite her saying she has had all of the pending slots finished) and I replied "Look, I've waited 5 months for my art, art that was suppose to be done by september. I asked for changes before it was even completed and you ignore the changes and tell me you will not do them. I've waited long enough. I would prefer you send me my refund today." She responded saying "I have no money today, sorry" I responded with "Okay. I'll wait till you take more slots but if I don't get it in a week I'm going to get it back through paypal/ my credit card company." and she responded once again with a simple "Oka" She has almost deleted every journal/shout/comment pertaining to the wait for the commissions she owes, people asking refunds, ect since she has returned and from a few people that have already commented on this AB she is even getting hostile over people wanting refunds. I know her artwork is cheap but with her business actions it is certainly not worth the wait IF you even get your art at all. I will not mark as resolved until I get the refund that has been promised. Update Febuary 7th It had been a week since the last message I recieved from her so I noted her saying. "It's been a week Naomy." she responds with "yeah. also not opening slots for the moment" this upset me beyond belief I noted her back saying that it's been a week and that she said she would give me a refund, to either give it or I would get it back from the credit card company which would put her account in bad standing. She read my note but didn't reply, I wrote a shout on her page saying "Still waiting on my refund." which she responds back with "yea is true and I'm not working for now" she doesn't seemed concerned about my refund at all. Still not resolved. March 4th. She has finally refunded me so I would like to mark this as resolved.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/807348.html Update 11/4/16 Nayel-ie has contacted me regarding this commission/AB she has offered an apology and to "right her wrongs" she has gained alot of respect from me because of this. as such i can happily now list this as resolved 🙂 This post does contain NSFW Images and have been marked appropriately at the very bottom of this post. All links in the body are SFW as they are merely screencaps of conversation. WHO: Nayel-ie WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/nayel-ie WHAT: 40% Off digital "Full Shaded Bust" WHEN: Agreement & Trouble: November 13 2014 PROOF: First contact notes on FA: http://i.imgur.com/gwrNFn0.png Proof of payment: http://i.imgur.com/wdRBA0L.png other email screencaps in the body (the time differences between the emails and first contact times was we first communicated through notes on FA until she was done, she then ignored the next 2 i sent, i waited a few days and sent the emails) EXPLAIN: I Wish i knew about this site prior to commissioning her. I got a 40% discounted commission from Nayel-ie for a "full shaded Bust" normally $100 through a journal she had posted on FA, she got it done within the same day of agreement and receiving payment, but that's not what I'm disputing. The finished piece was no where near the quality of her other artwork nor did it look anything like my character, so i sent her an email about it. The response i got was that the references made her "look like that", she tried a different shading style (which i never approved or was even told about) and that the examples i linked back to her (i linked some of her art from her gallery, expecting i was meant to get something of that quality) i was told they were a "higher tier" commission, which is a blatant lie, there is no tier above what i paid for. At the bottom of this post i have linked the final product i received, the references i gave her and the ones from her gallery i used when I questioned the quality along with a current copy of her commission prices. She has also deleted the original journal in regards to the commission sale and never used any references to show what the quality was to be like so i believed the examples i pulled from her gallery were her "highest tier" http://i.imgur.com/LyaXqT9.png (Email for above paragraph) So of course not being happy with the answer, which to me it sounds like she's just trying to fob me off without even caring, which according to her TOS I'm very much thinking this is how she runs her "business" which by the way have to be the worst thing ever. I must mention i DID read her TOS but i didn't think it would be a problem because the art in her gallery showcases a standard well above what she i received. Her TOS: http://nayelie.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/terms-of-agreement-2013/ I send her another email and the response is below it http://i.imgur.com/HUcYXNe.png (i have not sent anything after this email) So once again, a short answer and not really helping, so at this point I'm most likely just going to give up and say i learned my lesson, regardless of how good someone portray's their art, never commission anyone with such terrible TOS that basically screws you over completely at every turn. The Images The Final piece: (SFW) http://i.imgur.com/hRNyniI.png The references of my character: (NSFW) http://i.imgur.com/bIq2hIG.png http://i.imgur.com/Tz7Ii0H.png http://i.imgur.com/n8yypFY.png (SFW) http://i.imgur.com/d96bddn.png (Some how these pictures make her look like a Cat x rabbit or some kind of Fennec?) the Examples i used from her gallery (SFW) http://i.imgur.com/Bz5QHYL.jpg http://i.imgur.com/587qtYf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0aDmWEV.jpg (this is why i questioned the quality) Her current Commission pricing sheet (Which is 30% off, but it's the black numbers that are the base prices i refer to) http://i.imgur.com/YF3a0rw.png (Again i paid for a "full shade bust" there is no "full detail" anywhere on that pricing sheet or hints at any thing more) So as i said, not much i can do about it since she has essentially given her self the right to say "stuff you" to her customers through her ToS and rush out art. Was i within my rights to say what i did? Kindest Regards. ~Sierra

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/807750.html WHO: Royal Tenrou WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/royal-dog and http://www.twitter.com/royaltenrou WHAT: Fullsuit WHEN: March 2011 to Now (November 2014) PROOF: Please note - You have to read the early emails from the bottom up. Click for larger versions. Proof of Payment: First emails (beginning of the breakdown): Previous Deadline: Last emails: EXPLAIN: In March 2011, I visited the Midwest and ended up staying with Royal for a few days after meeting him through a mutual friend on FA previously. He mentioned that he wanted to go beyond his regular 2D art and get into fursuit building and at that time I wanted to bring my alt character to life. He decided to take me on as his first project, charging me $500 for a fullsuit. In September of that year I sent him the $500 and sporadically communicated with him over the next two years. When I reached out to him in November 2013, he said that the project was on hold. I got upset and had a back and forth with him (illustrated above). I wanted the unfinished suit so I could get someone else to complete it and he refused. After a cool down period, I emailed him again in February 2014 and he finally made some decent progress. Over the next seven months he made great strides building the suit until he seemingly hit a brick wall in October where he stated that his workspace was being compromised due to a ceiling leak. After the 16th however, he stopped communicating completely, yet according to his still active Twitter he was able to find time to pursue other interests. It has been over three years for the suit and to be frank, I feel he has simply stopped working on it. At this point I feel a refund would be impossible to obtain and I simply want the unfinished suit so I can get a professional to finish it or for him to at least provide a update and finally get it done. I know things have been difficult for him, but three years is long enough to wait for something like this. UPDATE (12/18/14): After sending him an email stating that I was preparing to take him to small claims court over the issue, he finally sent a progress picture of the head. He also stated that he would not communicate with me until the suit is finished and he would send update pictures at his discretion only. Should I hold off on small claims court or should I pressure him into relinquishing the incomplete suit and just having someone else finish it? UPDATE (2/17/15): Around January he reached out to me with another update and ever since then he has been consistently in contact with me, complete with progress pictures. I'm really glad that this is working out without resorting court or anything. UPDATE (3/6/15): Communication has improved tenfold and the head is pretty much done! Only thing left are the paws and tail. I'm excited for the final product and it looks like this is on its way to being resolved. UPDATE (5/8/15): THE SUIT IS DONE! Since the previous update, he has been working all out to get it finished and I cannot put into words how happy and proud I am of him now. Communication was excellent the last two months (via DMs on Twitter) and the work itself blew my expectations out of the water. Waiting for the suit to finally arrive next week so I can take pics. This should be resolved as soon as I get the suit! UPDATE (5/20/15): I received the suit about two weeks ago and after putting it through its paces, all I can say is WOW! The head is well built (love the attention to detail such as the velcro strips that replicate the character's eye black stickers), the paws are super soft, and the tail is great. Sadly though, the bodysuit is too small and will need to be altered, not Royal's fault though since it was the first thing finished and that was around two years ago (the body was based on a three year old DTD... yea I got a bit fat >.>). Also the head was a bit tight and I had to remove the moving jaw, just added fleece to the gap and its all good now! I gotta say that its one hell of a suit and I absolutely love it! This is definitely resolved!

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/806852.html Who: Knuxlight Where: -Fur Affinity: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/knuxlight -Twitter: http://twitter.com/tehknuxlight What: Digital Art; Three Icons When: Knuxlight began running Twitter icons at the beginning of 2012. I had already purchased 2 in January, and I wanted more so he agreed to do 3 more. I sent payment on March 26th, 2012, and April 9th 2012. Normally he'd finish within a week or two of payments. After nothing for a month, I asked, and he said he'd do them. I don't know what happened, but they never got done. Every couple of months I would ask on Twitter or Note him on Fur Affinity, only to receive excuses, false hope of completion, or no response. Unfortunately I do not have those notes as I deleted them. I will be attaching an email conversation I had with him this year, however. Proof: This is proof of payment from my PayPal. This is proof I have not received any refunds from Knuxlight since the date of payment. This is a conversation this year where I hoped I would either receive the art, or a refund. Instead I got an excuse, then ignored: http://imgur.com/5R69YUM This is a conversation we had on Twitter after I noticed he was ignoring my emails: https://twitter.com/Big_Nex/status/472511450616176640 Explain: I tried multiple times to either get the art or a refund. I was never solid on what I wanted since I did want the icons more than I wanted to money, which could be perceived as confusing. You'll see this in that email chain. However Knuxlight has ignored me on multiple occasions, said he would refund me on one over FA notes, and never did. I don't know if he forgot, as he mentions in the email chain that he thought it was resolved. I just want my money back.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/806042.html G'day, A_B. I only just found out about this community recently. My situation is a few years old, but still on-going. WHO: AlphaSempaiWolvieSyxx WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/alphasempaiwolviesyxx/ WHAT: I commisisioned a pair of black, fur-lined, leather ankle cuffs. WHEN: I sent her payment on August 30, 2012. I checked back in with her in December, 2012; January, 2013; March, 2013; and May, 2013. At least, those are dates I have screenshots of. All my phone records have been lost. I ran into her at RMFC in August, 2014, after which I restored communication to attempt to get a refund. PROOF: EXPLAIN: Wolvie was in town to spend time with her boyfriend, who was my roommate at the time. She showed off some cuffs she made, and offered to make me some for only $40 for a pair. I agreed. She left for home, and I sent money after her. She showed me a design mock-up (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8811669/), but it never got any further than just a drawing in MSPaint. I asked every so often for WIP photos, but never got one. At one point she told me the cuffs were complete, but couldn't send them because ____. She gave so many reasons over the years (or excuses; however you want to look at it), such as, the post office is closed after I get off work, I can't afford postage for Reasons, my car is broken, etc. Fairly believable explanations, but after so many, I could only reason that they were lies, and I wasn't going to get what I paid for. She offered to refund me in the form of Paypal (which I don't have) or in art. I told her I would take check or money order, or the cuffs, but not art; I paid for the cuffs, not art. I dropped out of touch with her after a while, after realizing she used my friendship with my roommate to score some money from me. Recently, after running into her at a local furry convention this year (August 2014), I got back in touch with her at the very beginning of October. She offered to mail a refund AND the cuffs... but, as usual, I got nothing but the same excuses routine I experienced earlier. Beware this artist! RESOLVED: Wolvie contacted me 21 May 2016, offering a full refund on Paypal, which I accepted

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/805817.html This is about my experience with Aoifhe / LiIIlian / creux / cuffedkitty. On the 24th May 2014, I ordered a custom lioness design from tsunkitty (now Aoifhe). I paid $15 for it. Proof of payment I had gotten art from her before (now deleted), so I trusted I would get my money's worth. After 3 weeks of waiting, I didn't want the design anymore. I asked her if I could change what I wanted to a chibi, which she was selling for $10, meaning she got an extra $5 out of it. She was very happy to accept. Proof After 14 more weeks of waiting, which she spent taking on new commissions and doing personal art (I have no proof of this sadly), I asked her if she had forgotten it. She had completely forgotten about it, and stated that she would not be working anytime soon. Proof I starting feeling very doubtful at this point. After 4 months of waiting, and her having actually forgotten about it, I started getting impatient. Very shortly after that, she deactivated for a few days. I was planning on trying to get my money back at this point. I decided to give her a week, and she reactivated 3 days later. So I noted her about my commission, and her replies seemed very passive aggressive. Proof I left it alone after that. I was on her to-do list and thought I'd get it at some point. Her Aoifhe account was suspended, so the only where I could contact her was from her other account LiIIian. Just today (2nd Nov 2014), however, she blocked me over a completely irrelevant subject. She is now offering a refund only in a different currency (deviantART points). Proof Overall she was an absolute nightmare to deal with. She spent most of her time taking on more commissions, making YCHs, and even doing personal art instead of doing her job. She's very hot and cold when it comes to commissions. Clearly I got the short end of the stick. I would not commission anything from this artist. Edit: Resolved. I have received my full refund.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/804794.html Who: Marcus Jones also known as Rudy Rosenblum, previously, Levi-Roe Mintkit, Levi Blackmore and Redpandaboy. Where: Through a furry group on facebook, can be found on FA, here: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/mintkit was previously using http://www.furaffinity.net/user/redpandaboy/ Their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mintkit-Illustrations/551024728331391?ref=ts&fref=ts What: A group picture offered to the members of a facebook group. Cost of inclusion for the image was £10 per character. When: He offered the group picture sometime around May 2014. A month later on the 22nd of June 2014 I sent him payment for inclusion in the group picture. After a two month wait, with no update, I asked to be refunded. It is now November the 5th 2014, there's no progress on the picture and still no sign of refund. Proof: Discussing payment: http://i.imgur.com/1HJaOkv.png Proof of payment sent: http://i.imgur.com/JTk1E2n.png Claim of progress and denial of showing the image, through a friend: http://i.imgur.com/IEvbrlI.png (Using the excuse if it wanting to be a surprise.) Messages I received after asking for a refund: http://i.imgur.com/ykyboSi.png http://i.imgur.com/irJp603.png (It's now been far longer than a few weeks.) Explain: A group picture was offered to furries in an online community in a facebook group sometime in May. I cannot recall the exact date as this person's facebook profile was taken down many times through facebook's new "false names policy", thus ending up with many original posts, that I would have liked to screen shot, being lost. A month later on the 22nd of June I sent out payment to this individual for inclusion in the group picture, costing me £10. Two months went by without a single mention as to how this group commission was progressing, by now he'd already produced many personal pieces, spending time on them instead of commissions he owed. I had a friend of mine ask if he could see the progress of the image. The artist refused to show a progress image claiming he wished for it to be "a surprise" Having been asked by my friend, the artist then made a post to the group, expressing how he'd completed the sketch for the group and the image was progressing well. On this post, I commented stating my annoyance of having no update in a two month time period and asked if my character could be excluded and if I could receive a refund, this is when he messaged me. Through these messages he claimed that the personal pieces were to improve his work for commissions, he also revealed that he owed many people money, not just myself at this point, and that he had already spent the money received for the commission, despite not having delivered what he was paid for. It has been 3 months since I asked for a refund and I've still yet to receive it. I've asked many times and even sent a payment request through paypal, which he has ignored. In these three months, he's continued to work on personal art as well as having spent money on unnecessary items and on train tickets, traveling to see friends. He's even had others spend money on him at expensive restaurants since he "couldn't afford" to pay for himself. This issue is still ongoing and I thought that, by this point, it would have been resolved, but sadly it as not and so I thought I should make a post here to warn others about this individual. I am very frustrated and disappointed by this stage and would certainly suggest that, if you would like art delivered in a timely fashion, you should seek out another artist.

EXPLAIN: I tried my best to accommodate him as you can see in this note: http://gyazo.com/f410cb7be992875659a83a1e25754225, I fixed things, and i gave him the amount he wanted in a refund. Toichi posted another, saying I was harassing him now. (I didn't get a chance to screen shot it as he removed it right after.) The whole time, I calmly tried to reply to his notes, but then after I blocked him as I didn't want to deal with the stress, only to see that he had emailed me and was pestering me on there. Please watch out for this guy, he's very confusing and I don't want anyone else to deal with this.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/800956.html WHO: Creating Constellations/Pj Husky/Suits by Paxton WHERE: https://twitter.com/pjhusky; https://twitter.com/SuitsByPaxton WHAT: A commission for a set of white handpaws with black claws and pawpads. Originally advertised on Creating Constellations twitter as a promotion to get the word out about the new business. I was told to email them for further contact. Unfortunately this first Twitter account is now gone, as far as I know. WHEN: First contacted on June 2nd, 2014, paid on June 3rd 2014 in full. PROOF: Proof of relation of "Creating Constellations" to "Suits by Paxton" [screenshot] Proof of relation of "Suits by Paxton" to "PJ Husky" [screenshot] Photo of paw on Twitter account matches photo in email. [screenshot] Emails: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 EXPLAIN:As stated above, I found this promotion through Twitter and contacted them via email. After confirming their PayPal address I sent $66 on June 3rd. I asked for an estimated date of completion and was told end of July. In August after I hadn't heard anything, I emailed to check in, and was told I was scheduled to be completed by the end of August. Mid-September, I emailed again, since I hadn't heard anything again, and it seems there was some personal problems that caused the date to be missed. I was happy as long as I could get them in time for Rainfurrest (September 25-28), and was told they'd be done and shipped by the end of the week, leaving me just enough time to get them before the convention. September 21st, four days to the con, I still hadn't heard anything, so I checked in again. They replied on the 23rd, two days to the con, that they'd ship the paws express to the convention. I gave them the address of the hotel I was staying at. They said they would send me the photos of the paws tonight. September 24th, I emailed to check in, to be sure they were sent, since I hadn't gotten confirmation. The following day, the 25th, I was at the convention. I emailed, if the paws hadn't been shipped by now to just send them to my home address, which I gave again. The 25th and 26th passed without a reply. At this point I assumed I wasn't getting them for the convention. The 27th, I recieved an email letting me know there had been a shipping error, and that they would be sent to my home address today. I got the photos. October 10th, there hadn't been a reply since the 27th, so I emailed again asking for the tracking number, or if it was sent yet. Today, October 15th, there has yet to be a reply. While I believe eventually I will recieve the paws, the experience has been less than pleasant trying to contact them, and the promised due dates falling through is a dissapointment. Had I known there was going to be trouble I would have had time to come up with something for my paw situation at Rainfurrest, but since I assumed I'd get the paws as promised on time, I didn't make a backup plan. To try to figure out what was going on, since they had mentioned both Instagram and Twitter, I searched "PJ" and found "PJHusky", and "SuitsByPaxton". Had I not figured this out myself I would be a lot more upset, since all the information I have to go off of is the email correspondence, and the original Twitter account I had contacted was nuked. I would have thought I was scammed. Added 10/26/14: RESOLUTION: SuitsByPaxton posted on Twitter admitting problems with orders, so I responded on my public account since I hadn't gotten any email responses. You can read the resulting conversation here [screenshot]. Here is a photo of me with the paws once they arrived. CONCLUSION: In the end I recieved the paws, and the paws themselves are exactly what I expected. I hope in the future SuitsByPaxton learns from this experience and will communicate better with their future customers, and keep their deadlines, but be aware for now: if you commission SuitsByPaxton you may be in for a long wait and struggle for communication.

So they opened for emergency commissions, which was killing two birds with one stone, I was about to commission someone I've idolised and it was to help them when they were in need. So I commissioned them, the ordering went without a hitch and I began on the waiting process. The original time of wait was estimated to be about roughly a month. A month and more went by and I saw nothing, eventually, thinking I've given enough time I asked for an update, what's going on, how long I'm going to have to wait. I got a note back eventually saying an excuse and that they'd do it in so many days. I was like okay, that's understandable, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The time went by, I gave it a lot longer before I messaged, again giving time then I finally got another response, with guess what another excuse. It happened like this over and over again until I eventually asked for a refund. Have not heard anything since. Have left messages but nothing. This started 20th of feb 2013 and its now 12/10/2014 its been long over a year. I do not have any art, no sketch, no preview, no refund all I got is shoddy excuses and no communication since the last link. I believe this person should NOT be commissioned they are unreliable will give you every excuse under the sun and just never get back to you. I will never commission them again. Update: Found out he's been on tumblr and posting art he's been doing throughout the whole time I've been waiting for my commission. Look at this. Tumblr is NSFW http://madcarnival.tumblr.com/tagged/madcarnival/

Asked for an update and was told 'can you wait a few days?'. Asked again after 9 days and note was read and ignored. My last note has been unread since. On dA you can view the notes through the notes hub without clicking in to them. They may have read it that way. I also emailed the paypal email and left a shout. Both unanswered. I was going to open a Paypal case but missed the deadline by 2 days. Looking on their page there are multiple people leaving shouts asking for updates.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/797275.html WHO: Kazecat WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kazecat WHAT: A digital image of my character as a lady, showing off her curves. Unfortunately I did not think to screencap the request form at the time as I did not know there would be a problem, but that is what I requested. Additional details were to be worked out in stream, which is where Kazecat does all of his work. WHEN: Sept 26: original request submitted Sept 30: stream occured Oct 1: disagreement PROOF: Screencap of the disagreement: http://i.imgur.com/YaJd56J.png (Please note, I was too upset to remember to screencap the end of the argument before blocking Kazecat on Skype, so the end of the cap is me posting what he said to my friend instead. There are some missing bits of what I said back to him, but all my responses were civil and calm.) Image I received (NSFW, fatfur): http://i.imgur.com/t6VqZWc.jpg His journal showing me on his list of slots, with 'DIDN'T PAY' in red lettering beside my name: http://i.imgur.com/uhWMu7b.png **EDIT**: He has since updated the image on his FA with the red lettering of an Artist Warning due to refusal to pay as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/zbBg6at.png ***EDIT 10/2/2014*** The image has been taken down and the red lettering on his journal has been removed** EXPLAIN: On September 26 I submitted a commission request form. I gave minimal details on the understanding that further details would be worked out in-stream. The agreed-upon price for the commission was $45 USD. I heard nothing from Kazecat except that I was 'coming up soon'. On September 30 I noticed he was streaming (he did not notify me anywhere that he was doing so) and popped in to see what he was working on. It turned out to be my picture, which he had begun without any details from me, and seemed to have just decided on his own what to draw. He had included his character in a sexual situation with mine. I had requested a solo picture and am not comfortable having my character in sexual situations with others except under special circumstances (very close friends, etc). Dismayed, I told him I would message him about the picture later and left the stream, as the picture was nearly completed. The next day I contacted him, as shown in the screencaps above. Kazecat accepts payment after completion; however, I do not feel it is fair to demand payment for a picture I did not ask for. He was willing to edit out his character for free, but I was too unhappy with the image. I was willing to give a small tip ($5 USD or so, though I did not tell him the exact amount) in exchange for a redraw. He demanded $15 extra for the redraw, which I was not willing to pay when the first image was, in my opinion, not something I had ever asked for and amounted more to gift or fan art of my character than a commission. When I refused, he began to become angrier and more aggressive. He threatened to 'blacklist' me and warn other artists not to do business with me. At this point I had already been planning to put him on A_B so this is not a retaliation in any way. When I did not change my mind upon being threatened, he began to tell me that I was obligated to pay him. I disagreed, asked him not to contact me again, and when he kept talking to me, I blocked him on Skype. I am not sure where to go from here, I have an image I am extremely unhappy with and would not like to have displayed online. I have an artist that refuses to redraw the offending image and shows no signs of wanting to take down the image. Overall it feels extremely unprofessional to me and I am deeply uncomfortable with the interaction.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/799954.html WHO: When I commissioner her, she was under the username Paint on FA. She's also been Skink on Weasyl and most recently is Cockatrice on Flight Rising. WHERE: I originally commissioner her over a stream while she was still doing business out of FA. http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=view&tab=userpage&id=18876 is their userpage now, on the right under 'Recent Forum Activity' you can find their most recent commission journals. WHAT: I commissioned her January 19th 2013 for $110 worth of pay what you want commissions, to be divided into two images. A few months later, I commissioned her again for $30 colored sketch. (exact date not known because I paid for it over some sort of funding website and can't seem to find it on my paypal although I remember paying and I am down on her commission spreadsheet for this commission. You can find the spreadsheet here http://oi57.tinypic.com/15z5a46.jpg my commissions are near the top and bottom. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak6G1XPK44mudFNHWW83ODhYTmNsVkpNLWN5aE5RTmc#gid=0 this is the actual link to the google docs of the commission spreadsheet.) WHEN: I paid her January 19th, 2013. You can ready about what has happened from then up to this update post here http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/766364.html PROOF: http://oi62.tinypic.com/ixfkus.jpg screenshot of my payment for the original $110. EXPLAIN: http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/766364.html The EXPLAIN: section here will cover what has happened up to this point, but there isn't much to report on.. which is why I think this update is necessary. Despite being active once more on Tumblr and actively taking commissions on Flight Rising, I still have not recieved any contact from Skink/Cockatrice. And no wonder, you see later she purposefully turned off what appear to be all incoming messages from people she does not herself follow on Tumblr. http://lollipopatrice.tumblr.com/ here is her tumblr, so you can see how active she still is. http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=skin&id=1030735 here's a link to a forum post where you can see she is offering commissions for Flight Rising things (don't quite understand the game fully) for $5, $10-20, and $15-25. http://lollipopatrice.tumblr.com/post/97124492225 here is a tumblr post where she claims her 'money troubles are alleviated' and says in the same post she can no longer see any asks sent to her, nor see notifications from someone if she isn't following them. It's fantastic that she no longer has any money troubles, however I don't see what the reason is then to continue to ignore customers who want a refund for something they paid for in 2013. The point of this update post is to warn/alert people to this artists's continued activity on Flight Rising, despite still owing money to past commissioners from over a year ago.

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/799570.html WHO: Benji. / Dear. WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/benji./ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/dear./ WHAT: A digital chibi sheet commission of one of my characters. WHEN: 2 and a half months ago. PROOF: Me commenting on journal - http://i.imgur.com/ynVwBrP.png Me sending them a note / them accepting and giving me details - http://imgur.com/ZlMgBit Proof of payment - http://i.imgur.com/1A03jLA.png EXPLAIN: Okay, I contacted Benji. on July 18th asking them if I can get a chibi sheet, seeing they were doing commissions for them, they agreed, and asked me to send them a note, in which I did. They gave me the details, and told me how much I needed to send over, mind you as you can see through the payment proof, I had to spend a bit more then normal, because I use CAD currency instead of USD, so I convert that into USD , so on and so forth. Which I knew, and didn't mind. Now, they told me to send it via Gift, which I have done before with other artists, and did get my commission, so I had no problems with it, what caused the red flag, was seeing a previous AB about their Dear. Account, at the time I didn't know if Benji. Was Dear. BUT I did do my research and found out, they both have the same Dreamy, and Same tumblr account. Their tumblr is posted in their journals, and what not. Dears. Tumblr Journal - http://i.imgur.com/Vn1C4Dr.png Benjis Tumblr Journal - http://i.imgur.com/NvJVl10.png As you can see in the screen shots, they both have the same Tumblr name. So now I knew Benji. was Dear. but I still didn't do anything about it, A month after sending the payment, I asked for an update, in which they did give me an update, Which can be seen here - http://i.imgur.com/jirygNU.png Now I am patient , so I accepted that excuse without worrying about it, I understand people can get rather busy, and what not. So again I paid no attention to it. Another month passes, and it's now September , I send them another note on the 18th of September, and got no word back of an update. Me asking for another update - http://i.imgur.com/QspQvqR.png three weeks pass since I sent that last message, and I found it fishy, seeing they were posting on their Tumblr account, every few days so... yeah.. haha..... So I send them a note asking for an Refund of my money, and telling them if they do not send me the refund , or even look at this message , within a week of me sending it I will put up an AB . And welp, I didn't get my refund, and of course you guessed it, they didn't bother looking at the message... Mind you I might sound a bit rude in the Ab / Refund warning, seeing at this point my paranoia was kicking up my Anxiety attacks, and those were kicking up my panic attacks, so it was hurting me a lot, so haha.. yeah I didnt mean for it to sound so mean, but :c you need to understand, I suffer with severe anxiety / Panic attacks, and things like that really get them going a lot >< and i was tired of it. Lol. Proof they didnt look - http://i.imgur.com/ZC1gdOq.png Me asking for a refund / warning them of an AB - http://i.imgur.com/A1CGzfK.png So now here I am, posting this AB, mind you this may be a bit confusing this is my VERY first AB , and this is the VERY first time something like this has happened to me, as you notice at first I even thought that the commission was 25 dollars or more, but then I went back and looked at my transactions, and boom found out I paid 30 dollars xD so yes there was a bit of confusiong on my end for asking for a refund . It's been awhile since I sent that money so yeah ><;; I do not mind waiting, but please just give me an update of whats going on...dont leave me in the dark, its not fair to the costomer , because we dont know if you just ... ran off with our money, and in this case, this is what had happened, I doubt I will never get that money back but at this point it doesnt matter, What matters now, is getting this out there, and warning people about this artist. 😕 again sorry if this is a bit messy, this is my first AB ever.. ; n ;

https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/797448.html WHO : Fenrisu WHERE : http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fenrisu/ WHAT : Backed out of YCH http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14645993/ (NSFW) WHEN : YCH Started on Sept. 28th, they bid on it then, then backed out October 1st PROOF : http://i.imgur.com/bowqkJT.png EXPLAIN : Quite simple situation, Fenrisu backed out of a YCH I posted, they bid twice, first the $25 then a $45, then decided on October 1st, that they didn't want it anymore and to give it to the person behind them. I already have it clearly written in my rules to not do this and they ignored it. I am posting this A_B so other people can watch out for this person and be wary of them.
