    On the 9th October I talked to quick about commissioning a gift for my friend and we set on a price and date.

    Due to the rushed commission I asked him if he could send me the invoice before the sketches. He did so and I paid quick.

    The next day I woke up i get the sketches and one emote being finished.

    later on I also got the last 2 emotes

    I wasn't able to notice that the smug emote was traced but someone else did and proved it here.

    Hey OP!  Have you been able to find out if the others were traced, too?  Also has the artist responded to you about this?

    All of them look similar to very popular memes I've seen on the internet. No doubt that the others are traced. However, the only proof I have is what they call the 'angry chibi meme' or something to the sort. 
     I do not know how to make the mini animation where it compares between the two, so I will just leave the file here of what I am referring to since there are multiple.

    As for your situation, I am sorry you have to go through with that. I hope that they come clean with you and are honest about it.
