    1. I bought 2 adopts from Hyperiontrash december of 2019. Via discord we had a conversation that if i paid her an additional $70 usd i would get nsfw and SFW full refs of both designs. After payment was sent for both, i received one, this beware is about the second set. we corresponded only on discord the last 9 months.

    So I approached Hyperion and agreed to pay for both refs as seen here

    I received the first ref and the first promise of "sometime next week"

    After 3 months of no wip, no contact, i reached out again after seeing a journal that she couldnt work because of her computer (while still not being listed on her queue): and then after a further 3 months (at this point we are at 6 months wait time I reached out again, as i was still not on her queue and no wips had been sent or contact made) i was told she was "almost done"discord3.thumb.png.1822368e38b5897ee7f96850cb33206c.png

    I waited another 3 months and reached out again. was told she would be done "in the next 2 weeks"

    I waited a further 25 days and reached out a final time, this time suggesting a refund. I was told she cant refund me.

    It is now as of posting october 15th, she has still not sent a single WIP, nor the final product, however on october 14th she has created 6 adopts from sketch - to final product and received total bids as of this writing of over 500 dollars, 300 of which has been paid to my knowledge and during a conversation on her server on the 14th the following exchange took place:

    at this point i simply no longer believe i will get the refs i paid for. as that is the case I felt it best I leave this beware for the community before attempting to issue a chargeback with paypal, or that possibly i may get the references, though at this point as i have been unable to use the design for a year i no longer want it the way it is so i would rather have the money so i can pay someone else to do the reference with changes.

    A PayPal claim was filed and auto rejected for being past 180 days, I hired someone else to do the ref and they finished within 2 hrs, I sent communication to Hyperion’s assistant that as I want nor need any art from her and cannot pursue a claim to get a refund I will just consider the matter closed. As disappointing as it is that I lost out on the 40 dollars I would rather it be over than to drag it out anymore. I consider the matter closed.

    This is not really surprising to me considering the previous beware before back in 2015 on livejournal which was quite awful with the excuses she made.  Just really disappointed in this I was hoping she would improve.

    Have you tried going to the bank about this? They can do a force take back on money you spent if you haven't received what you paid for. Just make sure you have your evidence. I believe they will ask you "have you received what you paid for" or have you been in contact with the person" If they ask you to prove the proof and the email you sent the money to they could get your money back. After all you do deserve your money back after waiting all this time

    I haven't gone to the bank, no. I have a very unhelpful one (even in cases of outright proven fraud) so i just have always dealt with paypal since they have always been reasonable. ive never had an issue with charge backs over the 180 days as long as i could prove i was owed what i was owed. but they had a new change i guess to their system so that essentially means im only getting it back if she sends it back unless i want to put more effort into it. and honestly as much as 40 dollars is a decent amount and i believe i should get it back, at this point i just want to have it closed and move on, because i'm kind of a pick your battles person and this just isnt worth expending more energy on fighting. i only made this post after finding out about several other things so i felt that it warranted bringing attention to this situation, in the hope that it can be a learning experience for others about keeping clear deadlines and expectations, and being aware of paypal policies, as well as hopefully a learning experience about managing expectations and responsibility for the artist because she does do lovely work I just think that she could be better in regard to her wait times and things like communication with individuals on deadlines, wips, that kinda thing.

    I'm frankly surprised she only has as few bewares as she has. She's been quite unprofessional for awhile with a queue that's very long in the tooth. I've been following her for a couple of years with hopes that she'd dig herself out, but it doesn't seem she's improved at all with her business or work ethic. Personal life is not an excuse to ignore your job.

    Sadly from the 7 people who reached out to me since this beware they said the reason they haven’t spoken out is fear of being harassed - exact words were “did you see what happened  in Her server when duccidraws asked about her same day commission when it wasn’t done 3 weeks later? I don’t want them jumping on me like that” “ I’m smaller than her they will bury me” “the mob that comes down on anyone critical of her business practices scares me” it’s all sadly seeming to stem from a toxic environment from her watchers which I’ve been subject to myself, I had to report several people for threatening me with physical harm for reporting this.

    I'm somewhat not surprised by that behavior. considering that kind of what happened in the livejournal but it really backfired on her  fortunately which made the beware even more valid.

    I've honestly been waiting a little over a month for a piece from her as well now. I wasn't even on her queue until I contacted her manager. It was one of the "Buy me something and get art" journals.

    Since then I haven't seen any progress, 0 contact but I've seen her post personal art and then suddenly say "Leaving for a week"

    Now she's asking for money to go to Disney World. Pretty sure I won't get that piece and I will have to just force a refund.

    That's great to hear!

    Though for future reference, while we don't have explicit rules for a minimum wait time for comments our beware wait time is 3 months.  We don't consider 1 month to be very long at all, and we hope in the future that you exercise a little more patience.

    Damn. Reminds me of a comm I placed with her a year ago, she forgot to put it in her queue, and I had to wait an entire year with no communication and a bunch of “OPEN SLOTS” and “INSTREAM COMMISSIONS” pings from her discord
