    This is my first post on this site so i'm not sure if I did this right.

    A while back I discovered that my stickers have been traced.

    I went to the artist to confirm that they did indeed trace here is the conversation

    I don't see it right to sell traced art to someone

    It isn't fair to the artist who spent time making the art or the original commissioner who bought the art.  I can't do anything about it here so I'll just post this here so someone will see this and think twice about this person.

    They are factually incorrect.  They are producing derivative work off of another artist's work.  It being a Telegram sticker doesn't make the item's copyright void and open for public use.  Gross.

    Using someone else's content, especially ones not made specifically for resale is theft point blank. And its honestly appalling that someone could defend themselves and openly admitting that they take another persons work, especially if its been commissioned by another person entirely. Saying "other people do it too", isn't a proper defense. Infantile, and honestly really childish. Pretty sketchy IMO.

    I am so sorry you're having to deal with this.

    Ugh, they gave you such poor excuses. And also with these being stolen and not made to your order, you received something of a much lesser value than what you were made to be expecting, which makes this even worse and they speak about it so lightly.

    I wonder if that's the same user I had issues with last year, I don't remember the person's name. They made stickers for a client of mine. They took the reference I did of the character and pasted parts of it onto a template. ?
