I would say it would be in your best interests to screencap what is being said and add that to the Beware.
Yeah I've been capping everything so far.

If she's directly saying untrue things, or sending direct targeted harassment to you then feel free to add it.
I do have a few caps, but one is from a server I'm not in but I was sent the cap. How should I handle that?

So an artist I made a beware on has recently found it. Now she's pretty much taken to getting people to hate me or just general shit talking.

Yeah I always hated PWYW, name your price, or things like that. I'm not an artist so I can really judge the value of art plus something may worth x in one person's opinion, but be worth y in another's. But as far as PWYW my understanding as always been you give the artist an idea, pay whatever amount you want, and the artist decides how far to take the idea. Whether it be a sketch, lineart, headshot, fullbody, or whatever.

Yeah this is something that has been happening for me for a while now. I just assumed it was some kind of glitch with the site or something.

Long Overdue update, but they finished to commission (albeit a downgrade to a sketch) on the day that my protection would've run out.
Here's my question. Since it was a downgrade did you get any potion of your money back because say if you paid for a fully colored and shaded piece but only got a sketch then they owe you a refund for work not completed.

So I don't know if this is a common thing, but I have been noticing a few artists selling prints such at art books or posters of artwork others have commissioned from them. I'm just wondering how people feel about that. I know that an artist retains all rights to the commission. I'm just not sure how I feel to suddenly find artwork of one of my characters being sold.

I would call it a loss because you ultimately ended up accepting the final piece.
Did you have the option of requesting changes? Could you have asked for a partial refund because you were so unhappy with it
To be honest I don't know. I was never shown a W.I.P. and was just handed a final piece. As for the partial refund, I didn't think to ask for one.

Yeah I kind of figured as much.

So I commissioned an artist back in May. When I got my commission in August let's just say it wasn't what I expected. As in it was completely wrong as for as poses, character positions, and the overall theme, the only thing that is right were the characters. I told the artists but accepted the art as it was because I was honestly just that disappointed to where I didn't want to take the chance again. They, however, promised to do a piece to make up for it after finishing commissions. I just remember this as I was sorting files on my laptop. So my question is how do I go about asking the artist or should I just call it a loss because it happened so long ago?

Would I be able to show a mod in private and they make note of it? If not I understand.
