I commissioned Coyot a year ago on Feb 8th, 2020 to draw a full body painting for $80, I tipped +$5 for a total of $85. Initially, I spoke to them through their now defunct twitter account Coyot_Tea, but they have a new and active account called Cyo0t3. I paid them promptly on Feb 8, 2020. They acknowledged payment received and that's when the delays started happening. I did ask for a refund on Feb 13, 2021, a year later, but they said they couldn't because they already started the work. They stopped responding on March 24, 2021. There seems to be several Artists Beware on their Coyot_Tea username but they made a new account under Cyo0t3. I have also tried reaching them through that account but to no avail. They are still active on Coy0t3. I received zero WIPs and have already filed a case with PayPal. It's been a year so unsure if PayPal can do anything but fingers crossed.

I contacted the artist known as Coyot_Tea at the time in reference to an open commission post made 02/09/2020 for a full body character painting. Discussion was quick and they responded within 20 minutes, where references were provided and payment exchanged. Deadline was self imposed by the artist within 2 months. Once the deadline was met I contacted the artist asking for an update. I was told that they were experiencing computer issues, and that once resolved my commission would be completed. Since then the artist has made no attempt to contact me, and since created a new account that they use to post their art (Sudo443) and is currently ignoring my messages. No contact has been had since 04/21/2020

On July 3rd 2019, artist Coyot_Tea opened for headshot commissions for $50 USD over Twitter (tweet announcing this opening has now been deleted). I had sent a private message to the artist that day, and was responded to the following day stating they were still open. I said what kind of pose I was looking for and the artist agreed, and said an invoice would be sent soon. An invoice was sent to my email address at 9:02 PM on July 4th for $50 USD, which was immediately paid for with an additional $12.50 USD tip for a total of $62.50 USD. After this point, I did not hear anything from the artist. Coyot_Tea continued to post other commissions on Twitter, and so I waited for mine to be completed. On September 12th 2019, I sent a message to them via Twitter asking for an update on the commission. I did not receive any response to this message. On February 18th, I checked their Twitter profile and noticed that I was blocked, having not received any message nor having any conversation with them whatsoever since July. Since I was unable to send a Twitter DM, I sent an email to their Paypal address asking for my money back (to no response). I had also made a Paypal claim to get this money back, but as it had been over 180 days since the transaction, I was informed that Paypal was not able to do anything about the issue. On February 23rd, the artist unblocked me and sent me two messages claiming that they had no memory of blocking my account and had every intention on finishing my commission. At this point, I said that I did not want the commission and instead wanted a refund for the money. I did not receive any response to this message (nor any refund). On April 17th, I asked for an update on the refund and was told that the money would be sent back to me within the next few days. I repeated my Paypal email address, but again was not sent the refund. On May 2nd, I reminded them about the refund and was told that they were unable to refund me the money at that time, but would try again that night. Again, I did not receive any refund. At time of writing I still have not received any sort of refund for the commission.

Commissioned artist on October 23, 2018, payment sent same day with a completion promise of 2 months. There was a queue available on FA which showed me ahead of my friend MajorWolf. Multiple, several month long lapses and a deleted FA later, he got his commission indicating that I was skipped. Fast forward to 2020 and the artist recently stated that they would be opening for new commissions once the queue was finished. As of today, February 18, 2020, I've been blocked from their account. I've not had a single bit of interaction with the artist since payment was sent.
