  1. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/963745.html 2018-08-28 Update: I have been given a full refund by Ryunwoofie/Gudetamom/Ocean Wotter, the proof of receipt is added to the original album. 2018-06-28 Update: Ryunwoofie has changed her name on Twitter to @Gudetamom / Ocean Wotter, is not permitting any comments on FurAffinity even when offering new slots, and is still no further along on clearing her refunds. She may be attempting to flee her current commitments by hiding behind a new persona. WHO: Ryunwoofie (Artist) (Aliases include: @Gudetamom / Ocean Wotter) WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ryunwoofie/ http://www.twitter.com/Gudetamom WHAT: Two and a half colored sketch pieces #1) Two-character colored sketch with extra details #2) My half of a two-character colored sketch piece with extra details (the other commissioner paid the other half as we were splitting the cost of this one) #3) One-character colored sketch. WHEN: #1) August 15, 2016 ($125.00 USD) #2) September 4, 2016 ($62.50 USD) #3) October 1, 2016 ($70.00 USD, $50.00 USD still owed) EXPLAIN: Ryunwoofie is an artist who, in 2016, had been active in taking stream commissions. I was cozied up to the idea of commissioning her and, fearing that I would rarely if ever make her streams, hoped that she would take some commissions "off-stream" someday. At the time my only contact with her was on FurAffinity. On August 15th 2016 she agreed to take a commission "off-stream" not too long after discussing the details of it (I had given them to her again at her request at the time of acceptance) and paid the quoted amount in full and upfront to her specifications and satisfaction. https://sta.sh/07plbsa0lak A month went by and I was being understanding on the delays, keeping in constant contact with Ryunwoofie, when she hosted a stream on September 4, 2016 that I was able to attend. When I was in this stream a friend and I decided we'd split the cost of another commission with Ryunwoofie, who wasn't able to do the artwork in the stream that night but agreed to do it off-stream. Each of us paid our half upfront after we all agreed on the details in private communications in the stream. There was follow-up discussion about that image, which is linked below. https://sta.sh/0j6ics96947 When October 1 came around without any updates or progress shown on the two pieces so far, Ryunwoofie opened up for one off-stream commission again and I was able to take the open slot. After discussing the details she quoted the price and I paid her upfront and in full. By November 30 there was still no progress despite previous claims that the artwork would be finished within two weeks or so, with ongoing explanations as to what was causing the delay. Due to the lack of progress and giving in to different ideas, we discussed alternate content for the third sketch and also agreed to switch from FA notes to email. https://sta.sh/01v42kqvrxg0 , https://sta.sh/021jgoebqtf4 , https://sta.sh/0h4brsomoqn , https://sta.sh/0cbimxw5u8f, and https://sta.sh/0l8ogcmt2ta Delays and issues continued up through February 2017, with no progress of any kind rendered. During a stream on February 11, 2017 I discussed making an up-front payment and drawing from some of the "credit" I accumulated with her to commission an idea I previously downgraded. She agreed, and while she didn't finish the art in that stream she did finish it a few days later. However, I was still waiting on the other three pieces we had agreed upon via email. https://sta.sh/0b5p7uu7sri , https://sta.sh/01gnm38rm0kj , https://sta.sh/0r2tubz0fm6 , and https://sta.sh/0zk197kyj86 Up to this point the emails were largely filled with patience about getting the art, up until April 24th, 2017 when Ryunwoofie appeared on Artists Beware. Realizing then and there that I may never get the other pieces of art, I contacted her on May 17th, 2017 (one other email went completely ignored mid-April) to see if I would be able to get the artwork by the end of the month, or failing that a refund. She agreed, though had nothing to show for it come June 1, 2017. On that date I follow up again and she agreed to do a refund by June 16th, either half on the 9th and half on the 16th or everything on the 16th. I asked her to keep me in the loop if there is any difficulty on this, to which she agreed. However, no communication has been received since then and my last email, dated July 7, went unanswered. https://sta.sh/02fgz5n8aefu , and https://sta.sh/01h0bams7ahk Unfortunately for me, due to the time that has passed I am not able to dispute the transactions through my bank (which issued the credit card I paid for the sketch pieces on) or PayPal (who processed the transactions for the pieces), which leaves this as one of my few final options for seeking a positive resolution or otherwise warning commissioners that working with Ryunwoofie may result in not getting artwork. PROOF: Album of conversations and PayPal Transaction Receipts: https://sta.sh/2xcgiy9s7df 2018-08-06 Proof of Refund: https://sta.sh/0n331a1iieh
  2. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/953237.html WHO: RyunWoofie WHERE: FWA 2016 WHAT: Digital badge. (forgot how much i paid, since i paid in cash. didn't get a receipt) WHEN: April 1st, 2016 EXPLAIN: Ordered a badge from Ryun at FWA in the dealers den. We decided to communicate via Twitter DMs. I paid her in person in cash (i know because i cannot find the receipt in either my PP or Square acct). I didn't get a sketch until November. I had to pester her for even that. Poked them again in January and they said they would send an updated wip, and I never got that. At the point it had been almost a year so I just decided to ask for a refund in February. They told me it would be a few weeks on 2/21. By the screenshots i'm going to post, they told me they would get it to me in "2-3 weeks." I poked them 2-3 weeks later, on 3/12 and asked for an update. She claimed she would send it that coming week and never did. I asked if I could get it after FWA 2017 because I assumed she'd be making enough sales to pay me back and she said yes. I ask for an update a week after the con, on April 16th and she ignores my message. At this point, I threaten with an AB, and then she promises to get it to me by the end of the week. It is April 24th, 2017 and I have not gotten my refund. PROOF: 6 part album of our whole convo. http://imgur.com/a/JFu9Q
  3. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/897422.html Who: Ryunwoofie Where: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ryunwoofie/ https://www.weasyl.com/profile/ryun https://twitter.com/Ryunwoofie When: Sent payment on December 14 2015 11:04 AM and still waiting Proof: Discussion of transaction: http://imgur.com/aokHCIz Paypal receipt: http://imgur.com/gfDY1Qs Reminders: http://imgur.com/fH9pbot http://imgur.com/N1OVNc8 The first one is because i wished to know where is my commission, or a little new about that, she shown to me the list, but nothing change. And the second one, it's the same than the first. I took a emergency commission of a Color Sketch that Ryunwoofie offered on December 14th at 2015 05:30 PM . I sent a few reminders to her, and i wasn't angry or mad at all, because i hate to put pressure on an artist, and it doesn't help at all. She said i would be on the "to do list" but nothing, and it's like that since the first remind about the commssion. But recently and since the notes i sent, she posted many many pics, YCH's and taken more commissions, and nothing changed. And i use this Artist Beware as example : http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/840382.html I can not recommend commissioning this artist due to their lack of professionalism and to say the least the massive backlog Ryunwoofie has.
  4. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/840382.html Who: Ryunwoofie Where: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ryunwoofie/ https://www.weasyl.com/profile/ryun https://twitter.com/Ryunwoofie When: Sent payment on Noverber 4 2014 09:01:42 PST and still waiting Proof: Discussion of transaction: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hxt1skkx7peprw5/Ryuwoofie Proof 2.PNG?dl=0 Paypal receipt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h1fzuapixcfa9o5/Ryuwoofie Proof.PNG?dl=0 Reminders: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvdgm7phvtfr3qk/Ryuwoofie Proof 3.PNG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zx3dzrw08grhvn0/Ryuwoofie Proof 4.PNG?dl=0 The first having to resend the info from the original discussion of the transaction. And the second reminding woofie again with dropbox links of Paypal receipt and original notes of the transaction Explain: I took a emergency commission of a Soft Shade Pinup that Ryunwoofie offered on November 4 2014 12:30 pm est. I have sent a few reminders since then saying I have yet to be added on Ryunwoofie's [To-Do-List] The first one I sent on January 29th 2015 after sending the notes and being told I would be added the next day or two later I gone though their [To-Do-List] find I'm missing still missing from the list and found out Ryunwoofie had 77 other commissions to do at that time Between the time I have been waiting o Ryunwoofie, she has posted several YCH's and taken more commissions while mainly posting personal art. As of typing this I've gone though Ryunwoofie's [To-Do-List] again she owes 95 other pictures. That is not counting myself even after the reminders, two pictures of friends not listed and any others that might not also be on the list. I can not recommend commissioning this artist due to their lack of professionalism and to say the least the massive backlog Ryunwoofie has. Edit: As of April 13 9:30 pm-ish Ryunwoofie has issued a full refund of the 65$
  5. Pretty simple, Ryun opened for $25 sketches, I claimed a slot, then we negotiated the price (I asked for something with an outfit/props and that raised the price to $30) and I never received it. I would attach the original tweet she posted, but she's since deleted it and my reply doesn't make sense without the context. This is the entirety of our conversation together, including a smaller screencap for the latest message due to the fuzzy date format. Then here's the proof that I paid her on June 20, 2019: At this point I have no confidence that she will ever get back to me, or that I will receive my art. She either straight-up ignores you or gives you the run-around. I know $30 doesn't seem like a lot of money, but I still paid for a service I'll likely never get. Also note that she changes her username a lot, and has her read receipts turned off on Twitter. Goes without saying, but I can't recommend purchasing from her.
  6. In February 2015, I commissioned RyunWoofie for a $25.00 USD colored sketch. She accepted my payment on February 26, 2015 and several months passed. I try to be gentle with my reminders, not poke and prod every week or month...just a reminder every few months / some chit chat about what could be causing the delay. During these months, I change my mind on which character to feature. She delivers a work-in progress in November 2015. I request some fixes to fit my character Syldria's proportions more accurately and she says OK sure. Some more time passes, artist mentions they'd like to use my WIP sketch as a YCH instead while allowing me to consider another idea. Idea is pitched, many more months pass and I remind her again in 2016. Okay sure, life grabs you by the horns sometimes...I let it slide. Several months pass again. I sent my occasional friendly inquiry/reminder and more excuses are given, with assurance that my picture will be done "soon". Concrete estimations of time, mind you, for a picture that's already a year late. Work isn't delivered, meanwhile she's been streaming commissions on demand to other clients within her picarto channel. She posts a journal update somewhere between 2015 and now with a whole bunch of clients waiting for their work, and upgrades the quality for those who have been waiting the longest. If you're promised a Shaded picture from a colored sketch, over 1000 days pass without an updated, upgraded picture, while hundreds of stream commissions have been done, how would that make you feel? Here is the Trello queue: https://trello.com/b/qZzbxjGv/commissions-in-progress-refunds I get it, Art is income. Income comes from new commissions, but what about my owed artwork? Note after note, she tells me she'll finish by X date, and there has been no WIPs or anything sent since the initial WIP turned YCH. You can't just sweep your past clients under the rug and under a mountain of new artwork done ON DEMAND in a livestream. I've remained neutral with my interactions with Ryun, and she has with me...I'm not a dick, but this sort of client treatment reeks of being taken advantage of due to my chill demeanor. It may be only a $25 commission, but you can't treat other people like this. Attached is the payment record on PayPal and our conversations spanning from 2015-2018, the last of which being July of last year. There has been countless posts of art from her since then and the majority of them from stream clients on demand, being done in short order. Also attached is the WIP sent to me November 2015, dated in my email with today's date and the original watermarked rough sketch stage of the only work she's sent me since February 2015. It is now March 2019. A disappointed client, Jarmenj

She does not take more than she can handle and has always been able to produce wonderful art in a timely manner. I've never been disappointed. Name: Sera 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/sera 3. A regular commission-ee since 2009 ? 4. Sera is always super clear with describing what she wants me to draw and is a pleasure to draw for. ? Incredibly kind and thoughtful. I look forward to taking her commissions. 1. Name: Fuzzypaws 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fuzzypaws/ 3. Has commissioned me both in person at a convention and a few times online since 2009 4. Shiro (Fuzzypaws) has always given me fun scenarios to draw for him, and has tipped me, which I am very grateful for. He was very kind about a perspective-based commission I didn't think I would do well with, and adjusted a commission idea slightly so I was still confident about doing it ? 1. Name: Arinmal 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/arinmal 3. Has commissioned me a few times since 2010 4. So polite and thankful, I am grateful to have had the pleasure of drawing for him. Very considerate and patient guy, wasn't impatient in the least when I had a bit of a delay getting his 8-character commission finished. Super nice guy ? There are so, so many more people I want to mention - I don't think I've ever had a -bad- commission experience. I wish I could name each of them ? These are just a few people that came to mind. Thank you guys ❤️ koisnake Apr. 6th, 2011 06:36 pm (local) 1. Name: A-chan Creations 2. Link: http://chao-fangirl.deviantart.com/ 3. Time Frame: I commissioned her back in October 2009, more or less, and received the plushies I've commissioned on February 15, 2011. However, the reason for the huge gap is explained below ? 4. Details: The plushies I've received (Klonoa, Guntz, Chipple, and Pyramid Head) were all made beautifully and personality. The seams were neat, the details were accurate, and they were the perfect size. I love them to bits! When commissioning her, I got a late with a few payments due to my job giving me less hours (this is the reason for the gap) but she was extremely patient and pushed my plushies to the end of her list to give me enough time to finish paying. She did not need to do this, but I cannot thank her enough for being patient and understanding about the payment troubles. Definitely recommended! latiro Apr. 6th, 2011 06:56 pm (local) Superb artist: fetalstar now THAT is what I've been waiting for! 1. Name: fetalstar 2. Link: her FA her website 3. Kacey 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kacey/ 3. January 2011 4. She was so prompt and polite! I asked for changes to the original sketch, she did them quickly without any questions, and the finished product is literally one of my favorite commissions I've ever received. It's gorgeous and even better in person. The way it was shipped made it practically indestructible, very above and beyond on the packaging of the original. I also got a badge from her (its not uploaded to her page yet) and it was stunningly beautiful, and came ready-to-wear with clip and everything. She is so professional! Zyden @ DA Commissioned in early March. The work is professional and frankly amazing in its depth and color and how it's all put together. I haven't seen anything quite as breath-taking as her eye-cons, for the price and with the level of professionalism that she puts into her work. A slightly larger version of my eye-con (and icon!) can be found here if you'd like a peek. She's wonderful to work with and has a great manner as well. The commission was quick and painless and I'm still amazed at how gorgeous it turned out! filthy_animal Apr. 6th, 2011 08:46 pm (local) Synchra Synchra synchra, aka "synchra" on FA. n_n Business was done this month, and previously~ I assume it's okay to mention this-- I purchased two of her adoptables and received the larger file for both within about 12-24 hours of payment (bought at separate times). She is really friendly and her quality of work is very professional. I have also had an art trade with her in the past (which I admittedly need to finish my half for, good lord I am slow) and I was more than impressed with the quality she brought me (see my current icon for this comment-- thats her work!). n.n I would totally recommend her-- she does a lot of concept work for characters, ref sheets, and icons. ❤️ jibacoil Apr. 6th, 2011 09:38 pm (local) p3nsive Pensive on FA.
