About Me

  1. I attended Further Confusion back in January of this year, and with every year attended so far, I am always keen on getting commissions from artists within the Dealer's Den & AA's. BluHuny's work was shown to me by a mutual friend and I sought to commission them for a badge of my fursona. I didn't find them on their advertised day of the convention (Saturday, the 19th), and instead found them on Sunday, the 20th. I met BluHuny in person and discussed their terms and turnaround time for a Badge Commission, which was going to be around a month-- this is also mentioned within their TOS, which is not linked to a commissioner directly, nor were the terms presented to me by other means when discussing the commission at their table. I paid for my slot then and there, and was told I'd be contacted later that evening. I was not given a receipt for this transaction, for some reason? But my payment registered on my card's mobile app. This was the only contact I got from BluHuny directly after the convention, which gave my slot a number in their queue, but their public queue channel does not actually show how many people are waiting for a commission, and all the details on how many badges, non-badge commission etc are on deck in total. As of 3/14, this is the amount of people subscribed to the queue channel. I never got a response from BluHuny to my inquiry, and I just let it go. They said they had a backlog from MFF, and that was fine, I was made aware of that from the get-go, but he was adamant that the FC commissions would be started in January. This did not happen. Updates and some delays are noted in this update channel, but as far as I am aware, there's no direct contact with any of his commissioners, and finished commission previews are just posted in short bursts as they work. However, as they are still working through their MFF queue in February, they open up for more commissions. This is where I begin to get a little wary of their work ethic and the validity of their strict, personal deadlines for paid commissions; BluHuny still hasn't touched base with me at all. On the 18th of February, they are still getting through the MFF queue. In this time, they have mentioned attending other events such as Galactic Camp, GSFC and more recently, FurTheMore in Baltimore. This causes me to worry even more, as they stated to myself and other prospective clients in person that they do not take commissions outside of the convention circuit. I have my own personal issues that prevented me from putting the commission at the top of the list, but as we entered the month of March and BluHuny still made no effort to speak to me, and their preferred way of working with a queue wasn't sitting well with me, I was on the fence as to what to do with this slot I still held. Several non-convention commissions were put before the FurtherConfusion queue, and I finally decided to just outright cancel this commission. It is only when I want to cancel my commission, that BluHuny is keen on speaking to me, below is our correspondence via DMs in Telegram. [1] [2] - Note, I had to prod him multiple times to get to the refund, in spite of him saying he'd take care of it "soon". [3] - The screencap in this log corresponds to my proof of payment posted above in the opening of my post. [4] - I felt like they were blaming me for not 'getting in first'? But, they weren't officially tabling at FC at all. They were under someone else's table? Speaking to him one-on-one was harrowing for me, as with my previous beware experience, I want to be considerate to the artist I'm working with even if I'm canceling or the commission is otherwise void. His tone just came off very flippant to me, and while I made my problems with his process known, none of it was acknowledged by him. Not even when I brought up that he ignored me when he says that Telegram makes it easier to speak to his clients. It just comes off arrogant and leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. As of 3/14, I am still waiting for my refund to be processed. I was willing to consider commissioning him again when I initially requested my refund, but after dealing with him like this? I'm taking my business elsewhere and I wouldn't recommend working with him at all.
  2. I have been a patron of SourShock's for nearly two years and have come to known them throughout my time as a patron to be very aggressive about taking large amounts of commissions with very little timely yield. In December, Sour was hosting a sort of fast sketch sale over Picarto, and I purchased a fetish piece for myself and a friend as a Christmas gift featuring our characters having sex in a locker room for $50.00. I had a falling out with that friend so the character ended up replaced, but I never even received a sketch for this piece as far as I can recall and stopped hearing from Sour for several months sometime at the end of last year. I finally got fed up enough to ask them about the commission. They had previously said in her Discord server not to ask about WIPs and so I was doing my best to obey that rule, but it occurred to me an update wouldn't come without me inquiring. When I inquired with Sour (and mind you, this inquiry also contained several subsequent inquiries about five other commissions, one of which was made in October of 2017 and had been followed-up with extensively by me up until the WIP enforcement) I received some very aggressive excuses about their ability to complete work in a timely fashion and how I would not be able to receive a refund because it had already been "started". I told them I really wanted the piece by May 15th or I would be posting a Beware and pursuing a Paypal refund. They said I would be able to receive it and the first piece in that timely interval (this inquiry was in March) but it would mean a significant reduction in quality. As you can see, I've waited to submit the Beware. And well, they made true on their word. I got both pieces on May 14th at around 6:00 PM, and the first was extremely disappointing. The second, my character's skin color wasn't even right and the lighting looked rushed. I am not satisfied with this work after spending so long pursuing it. I urge you not to do business with them. I regret giving them so much of my money already knowing I will probably never see those comms. The reduction in quality is evident. The piece looks rushed and mostly unfinished. 3. I didn't really want to do this but since there doesn't seem to be any activity whatsoever from them I'm more putting this out here to see if anyone else is still waiting on a commission from them. 30th July I messaged the artist asking about a ref sheet for my character. Everything was pleasant and they were happy to do my commission. I sent the money on the 2nd August. On 25th August I had sent a note asking for any updates since I hadn't received any. Since it's FurAffinity you can see if they have read the note to which they had but never replied. On 6th September they post a journal on their situation. I though fair enough but still could have replied to my note. 10th October I send a note mentioning the journal and asking if everything was okay. Still no update prior to this and neither did they reply to the note. 28th October they finally send an update and show me a fullbody sketch for the ref. I reply saying everything looks perfect. 2nd January 2019 is when I decided to note them again. Not to my surprise is that the see it but don't reply April 11th is the last note I've sent out to them, mainly because they haven't actually seen it. Hopefully I've attached all the necessary proof. If anyone else is waiting on a commission from this person I'd like to know too and if you've dealt with it. This is my inbox and all the emails I've received from them. This is my outbox with all the emails sent to them. As you can see they've all been read besides the latest one.
  4. Artist sells regular monthly YCH auctions, purchased a spot at significant auto-buy price and paid promptly. Item was completed and no further contact from artist. This weekend the artist posted their latest batch of finished commissions and I noted that mine was posted - as well as another near duplicate piece featuring another character from the same base sketch. The artist resold the same sketch to a second regular commissioner without notification to the auction winner/original buyer. No mention that this was a possibility was in the auction terms, nor in any terms of service the artist provides. For the significant price paid, I feel it is reasonable to assume the exact sketch would not be reused as a base for additional work. Evidence below: Original YCH Auction Posting: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31055673/ (NSFW) My completed commission: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31414530/ (NSFW) Second piece from same base: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31414687/ (NSFW) I did contact the artist and they did confirm that they sold the piece twice. All that was offered was an apology and statement they would avoid doing it in the future. However, I did note a second set of identical pieces in the recent postings - I cannot speak to the situation of those and will not link them here, but it gives evidence that this may be a recurring pattern and makes me doubt changes will be made to their practices. While I don't expect any resolution from the artist (they did deliver a completed piece as commissioned), I did want to warn the community about the incident given the high profile of the artist and high cost of their work. Buyers beware.
  5. Wanting to put out a beware on this person. Originally Autobid on a YCH that I got 9 months ago. 65 dollars for the whole thing because it also included 2 "free" bonus flat pictures IF you did the AB on it. I did actually receive the YCH about a month later. Granted, they didn't follow the reference very well, but it can be overlooked. No problems on the style of art as it did look good. However, when questioned last about the additional flats (in December) I was informed that he would get them to me that week. That was 5 months ago. I don't for see him actually replying to this latest message I sent where I requested at least a partial refund. The reason I went as far as to even mention that to him, because that same day he posted up two new YCH's for sale. Trying to push out more sales without ever finishing the original. Edit 08.26.19: Hello. I wanted to put an update on mine. After all this time RomeliaBlue has done right and I consider this resolved. He has refunded me a partial amount (the amount I suggested in my replies) and has apologized. He did state that he will be trying to get the other portions of the agreement (the other 2 pictures for the AB bonus) done, but I'm not holding my breath on that and I consider the matter taken care of. I don't know if he just now saw that I had it on here, but it's currently at my satisfaction.
  6. I really hate to do this but i feel as if i have no choice at this point. I commissioned a set of telegram stickers from this person on March 19th. 5 for 20 dollars. They would have been my first stickers of my sona. I waited all the way until April 4th to inquire for updates. I was told that i would receive some when they got home. I didn't. I tried again on the 11th only to be ignored. I tried firmly on the 19th only to be told that the were super busy and would send updates soon. I never got any. On May 5th, i initiated a dispute and then a claim on Paypal to try and get my money back. They sure messaged me fast then! They asked me to remove the claim and said they'd send me updates. And me being as gullible as i am, i canceled the dispute. I didn't know that you couldn't reopen disputes after closing them. So i have no way of getting my money back from them at this point unless they for some reason decide to refund me. And all of this talk about being busy cannot be true. I'm in several furry art groups that they're in as well. And i see them commenting on peoples posts all the time about how they're open for commissions and such. So i can only imagine how many other people are being swindled. I feel so dumb right now but i wanted to warn others.
  7. On August 1st I saw an adverstiment posted in the Megaplex 2018 artist chat for Tiki Badges. I contacted Nya and asked to be added and paid $25 for one. They said that mine might not get done until later after the convention which I was fine with. After this is was harder and harder to get a hold of them. The last time I heard from them was October of 2018. After they dropped out of contact I searched for their twitter and found it hadn’t been touched since late 2018. I now am at a loss on how to find them but seeing as Telegram reports them as active within the last week, I’m assuming they’re ghosting me.
  8. I commissioned this artist in February 2018. This one is pretty cut and dry. We exchanged notes on the animated commission I wanted and then there was a pause in communication since I was busy with work and the artist was ill. After May, I didn't hear anything back from the artist. I exceeded the PayPal chargeback time frame so I was not able to get my money back. I also did not receive any E-Mails back from Ricardo from the address he uses for PayPal. However, there were plenty of instances where he was posting on his Twitter account throughout 2018 so essentially, he took my money and ignored me. Buyers beware!
  9. Requested a commission of 2 female OCs spending time together. D.Orange presented me with 3 sketches to choose from and then pay the amount when ready. Paid $225.00: Months go by with little interaction. D.Orange claims to have working issues irl, gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him space. Months roll by and the responses gradually diminish to zero from him: Being part of a discord group, even had a mod step in to get it rectified, but even he didn't get a response from D.Orange. A bit old, but Orange is still active. Wanted to bring awareness.
  10. On the 9th of April, 2018. I ordered a commission from an Artist who was in need of money. The piece ordered was a $115 character reference sheet. The first payment was in the form of a donation taken and in return I was getting a paid commission from him, the second payment was when the commission was changed to a character reference sheet. In the first couple of weeks, he had finished the linework of the character’s body and first outfit. During that time he took on a number of other commissions from other people and worked on their linework too, but there was no progression of colour at all. He’d work on his own artwork every now and then, even colouring his own stuff but my commission still remained in linework stage. Months pass and I got the same “Yes, yes, I’m just going to finish some more linework from these other commissions and then colour them all together.” Well, it came to December where I was told I had to be bumped back in line because he had to deal with another commissioner’s art. So he began putting that commission in front of everyone else's. At the end of December, I had told him that I wished for a refund. Fast forward three months to this day and I just received my refund after badgering for him for so long about it. This man lacks the communication skills necessary to run a business as an artist, uses the “Send to friends/family” as a PayPal option and continuously makes excuses for refunds.
  11. In February 2015, I commissioned RyunWoofie for a $25.00 USD colored sketch. She accepted my payment on February 26, 2015 and several months passed. I try to be gentle with my reminders, not poke and prod every week or month...just a reminder every few months / some chit chat about what could be causing the delay. During these months, I change my mind on which character to feature. She delivers a work-in progress in November 2015. I request some fixes to fit my character Syldria's proportions more accurately and she says OK sure. Some more time passes, artist mentions they'd like to use my WIP sketch as a YCH instead while allowing me to consider another idea. Idea is pitched, many more months pass and I remind her again in 2016. Okay sure, life grabs you by the horns sometimes...I let it slide. Several months pass again. I sent my occasional friendly inquiry/reminder and more excuses are given, with assurance that my picture will be done "soon". Concrete estimations of time, mind you, for a picture that's already a year late. Work isn't delivered, meanwhile she's been streaming commissions on demand to other clients within her picarto channel. She posts a journal update somewhere between 2015 and now with a whole bunch of clients waiting for their work, and upgrades the quality for those who have been waiting the longest. If you're promised a Shaded picture from a colored sketch, over 1000 days pass without an updated, upgraded picture, while hundreds of stream commissions have been done, how would that make you feel? Here is the Trello queue: https://trello.com/b/qZzbxjGv/commissions-in-progress-refunds I get it, Art is income. Income comes from new commissions, but what about my owed artwork? Note after note, she tells me she'll finish by X date, and there has been no WIPs or anything sent since the initial WIP turned YCH. You can't just sweep your past clients under the rug and under a mountain of new artwork done ON DEMAND in a livestream. I've remained neutral with my interactions with Ryun, and she has with me...I'm not a dick, but this sort of client treatment reeks of being taken advantage of due to my chill demeanor. It may be only a $25 commission, but you can't treat other people like this. Attached is the payment record on PayPal and our conversations spanning from 2015-2018, the last of which being July of last year. There has been countless posts of art from her since then and the majority of them from stream clients on demand, being done in short order. Also attached is the WIP sent to me November 2015, dated in my email with today's date and the original watermarked rough sketch stage of the only work she's sent me since February 2015. It is now March 2019. A disappointed client, Jarmenj
  12. Anjel (anjel_kitty) wrote in artists_beware, @ 2018-11-27 05:13 Teahound/Shroom Yeen When and Where: Furlandia 2018 What: badge for 20 dollars At Furlandia this past year, I commissioned @ShroomYeen for a 20 dollar traditional badge when I met up with them working in the artist alley. I remembered them from the days of 'yore here on LJ, and wanted to support an artist that I knew from before who lived close to where I lived now. ShroomYeen was very affable at first, and I even invited them to some of the events in the local area since we lived in the same town. But after the con, the messages became fewer and further between, until finally they started flat out ignoring me and refusing to respond to me. I have contacted Furlandia to let them know that an artist in the AA still has not come through with their paid commission so they won't be able to steal from anyone else at Furlandia 2019. At this point I am just going to cut my losses and let people know, especially here in the West, not to commission the artist known as ShroomYeen, formerly known as Teahound, and also goes by Travis. I thought that after this many years, this artist would have changed their ways, but apparently I was wrong. I do not have a receipt for the badge (something I will not make a mistake like that about again) but I do have chat logs between myself and the artist, with the artist agreeing to mail me my badge and then subsequently ignoring me from that point on.

My mate Zaelgolin had previously gotten a badge from this artist a year before through an FA commission and liked it a lot, so he recommended I get one as well. I agreed, and requested a half-body double-sided digital badge of my dragon character Sabre. Onnanoko quoted the price as being ($140.00 USD), which I agreed to, and paid for at her table using Paypal using a Square reader extension on her cellphone. I mentioned that I did not know exactly what I wanted at the time of purchase, and asked if I was able to view her FA gallery once I got home from the con to try to formulate my idea. Onnanoko said this was OK, and recommended I contact her on Telegram once I was ready. I grabbed a business card from her, saw the Paypal receipt come through on my iPhone mail, and I was on my way. Here is a picture of the business card I have from Onnanoko placed with original items I am the only owner of (artist's email address redacted). On March 9th, 2017, I first established contact with Onnanoko on Telegram after creating a Telegram account and installing the desktop program. I confirmed the purchase details and explained that I would like to view all her posted art first while I thought of an idea, which she was OK with. On May 22nd, 2017, I re-established contact with Onnanoko on Telegram after viewing all of her posted art on FA and really enjoying it. The conversation with friendly and cordial, but unfortunately this would be the last time she would ever contact me (unbeknownst to me). There was a lot of friendly chit-chat about her artwork that I was complimenting in the middle of this conversation, so I have only supplied the beginning and end of the conversation in my screenshots. This is where I officially provided my detailed request. In all fairness, since I took a while to do this, I consider the clock starting from May 22, 2017, and not January 13, 2017 when my payment was made. This was just due to me being busy with work, life, and other things. I was in no rush to get the commission and was willing to wait patiently. Onnanoko explained that she would be busy with BLFC2017 upcoming, and to contact her after the convention sometime. On August 13, 2017, I sent Onnanoko another message on Telegram asking for a friendly timeline update. Unlike my last message, Onnanoko never read the message and no response was ever received. On September 25, 2017, I sent Onnanoko another message on Telegram after not hearing anything for 6 weeks. Again, Onnanoko never read the message and no response was ever received. On December 30, 2017, I had visited Onnanoko's FA page again and noticed that several previous commissioners all had posted "Shouts" on her page all asking for status updates from years prior, as they were not getting any communication back from her despite having their commissions paid-in-full. I then sent Onnanoko an email to her posted Commissions/Paypal email on her FA page stating with the final warning that I intend to open a Artist Beware post and Paypal Dispute if I do not receive some type of response within 1 week. A week came and passed with no response given. This was really disappointing, as I really did not want to have to resort to going through with this. This is likely the reason why I took an extra 363 days to follow through on my threat, because I really didn't want to have to go through the effort to do so, as well as all the negativity surrounding it. However, with Further Confusion 2019 less than 2 weeks away, I felt it was my moral obligation to warn others about the risk of giving this artist any money. Admittedly, I did not yet perform the official Paypal dispute that I threatened to do in my final email. This I feel is a bit drastic, and I would first like to try the Artist_Beware route in the search for a resolution. On September 4, 2018, Onnanoko updated her Trello page and fraudulently claimed my commission was finished by moving my commission from a "Queue" status to "Completed" status. It was actually a friend of mine that first noticed the status change, and asked me if they could see what she did. The truth is that I received no contact of any sort from Onnanoko since May 22, 2017. The fact that Onnanoko was starting to fabricate work completions that were never even started was particularly disturbing. And today, January 5, 2019, I finally followed through on my Artist_Beware posting, just 1-day short of a full calendar year after my communicated deadline. The artist has ruined the working relationship with me so much that a full refund of the ($140.00 USD) I paid her is the only resolution I will accept at this point. 14. July 4 2018 Tolwulf posts an advertisement on a unofficial Anthrocon Telegram page for badges to be completed and picked up on Friday, July 6 2018 Following this advertisement, I replied asking for a badge upon landing at the airport in Pittsburgh. Payment email had been sent, and they received the amount of 30 USD. An invite link was provided to a group chat where progress on the badges would be delivered to those who commissioned him. July 7-8, 2018 An update on badge progress was requested. He replies that it will be completed by Sunday at the latest. July 9, 2018 No progress had been made in regards to the badge. In a face-to-face conversation, he mentions the badges will be shipped out post-con. This was later confirmed in the aforementioned group chat. August 7, 2018 TolWulf sends some messages explaining how he's been busy and is currently working on the badges. I reply back. There was no reply for several more weeks. October 15, 2018 The artist reiterates that he's busy, and adds that line work has been done for the badge. I ask for WIP pics to see if there is any truth to this statement. November 2, 2018 After asking once again for an update, and mentioning the possibility of requesting a refund, TolWulf replies once again, and no WIP has been provided, claiming they are currently busy with other work. I inquire about a potential deadline. November 28, 2018 Following a brief conversation regarding MFF, TolWulf replies saying he currently has completed the badge and mailed it and the other incomplete badges to the Hyatt (no idea why he did this). He says he will send pics of the completed work upon arrival to the hotel. He continues by saying he will ship the badge from MFF. I mention I will send him my Canadian home address when I see the completed badge. January 15 2018 No updates have been given. I give a final warning. As of today (February 16. 2019), the message has still been left unread. To sum all of this up, there has been a lack of prompt communication with the artist. If at any point there was a reply, TolWulf would continuously claim that work had been done, but not provide any evidence to show for it. A dispute has been filed with PayPal, but was instantly denied, given the claim was made 180 days past the transaction date, leaving me short of a refund and no foreseeable badge in sight. I will post any updates when and if I hear back from the artist.
  15. Incident 1: November 2016 In November 2016 I commissioned Graviilean for a fullbody traditional piece (digital copy only - the physical copy was for her school Portfolio). Around January 2017 I sent a note requesting an update. Graviilean apologized and offered a free sketch, explaining that she forgot to scan the original before mailing it. I asked for updates on either piece around every 3 months - until October 2017 when Graviilean asked me to accept a refund for the order, stating she had never done the extra sketch and didn't know if she would get back the portfolio. Incident 1 Proof: https://sta.sh/2kna8yk4e4i?edit=1 Incident 2: March 22, 2018 I ordered a fullbody digital commission and paid $70. On June 14, 2018 I received a notice of a refund (no other contact from the artist until this point). The artist did comment with a reason afterwards (illness/emergency). Incident 2 Proof: https://sta.sh/26b16j5xup8?edit=1 Incident 3 and 4: July 5, 2018 and September 13, 2018 I ordered a fullbody digital commission and paid $70. For those wondering, I tried again because I decided to chalk up the first two experiences as bad luck and bad timing respectively. I had also messaged her prior to ordering to be sure she would actually do the commission. At the time of ordering, Graviilean stated it would take about 3 weeks due to character complexity. I had no problem with the wait. I received a rough pose sketch on July 26. While waiting, Graviilean opened some headshot sketch commissions and I ordreed 2 ($40) because it seemed she was getting through them quickly. In October, Graviilean posted some journals explaining that she could not work on anything digitally** and needed to raise $2,000 for a new tablet and refunding old commissions. I was upset so I commented, and I will make no excuses for my rude tone at that time. Graviilean assured me that my commissions would be done by the end of October. November 4, 2018, after Graviilean ignored my notes requesting an update, I posted a PSA about her continuing poor performance, including proof of her opening commissions to refund older commissions she never did, along with posting statuses for new commissions/asking to raise large ($400+) amounts between the commission journals. Two days after posting the PSA, Graviilean found out and messaged me "How will I sell commissions to refund you now?" I offered her another solution, to draw my commissions traditionally (she claimed to have broken her tablet). November 18, 2018 I offered (requested) that Graviilean finish my commissions traditionally since digital was out of the question. I informed her I would file a chargeback December 31st if I had not received either the art or a refund. December 30, 2018 (a day early due to a family trip for New Years, where I would be without internet access) I opened the chargeback. Graviilean left a final status message stating she was abandoning her account and encouraging those who could to chargeback, as she had no interest in dealing with it. She refused to communicate with me through Paypal and forced me to wait the full length of time for Paypal to close the case. ** Special note - during my PSA updates, it was brought to my attention that Graviilean had a side account Graviinator (DA) and Facebook where she was posting digital art during the months she stated she had no way to draw digitally, along with opening commissions through that account. Proof of this - https://sta.sh/2twj39et8et?edit=1 Incident 3 and 4 Proof: https://sta.sh/2s2oveupup9?edit=1 Graviilean Status and Journal Posts (offering comms to refund comms) Proof: https://sta.sh/2z1vtwgq09d?edit=1 Graviilean final "Go ahead and chargeback" status: https://www.deviantart.com/graviilean/status/15992687 Summary / End Notes: Beginning in November 2016, I have attempted to commission Graviilean (DA) 4 times. My orders have been "done but lost", refunded due to "illness/emergency", and finally just simply not finished. I had to file a chargeback as Graviilean would not give me specific dates for the refund on my final 2 orders ($70 fullbody and $40 for 2 busts). In a final Status update on DA, Graviilean stated she was abandoning the name/account permanently and would move on to "better things". She stated those that could, should file a chargeback. She has moved accounts to https://miau124.deviantart.com (DA) / MiaU (FB) / MiaMatsuno (Twitter) (WARNING: NSFW Twitter account) and opened up new commissions and posted digital artwork (during the time she stated she could not use her tablet) MiaU / Graviilean + Graviilean final status- Proof: https://sta.sh/0dvuzxgi1kp https://sta.sh/01798pttiofh (In case it is unclear from her art style, several of the "fake screenshots" are posted on her Graviinator (DA) side account and now on MiaU124, along with the same character name and bio)
  16. Since watching Dirt-chomp on FA I've purchased 6 busts for $10 each prior to this debacle and everything has been great. The quality of the work and timely manner had me coming back to purchase a YCH and a discount couples bust in July 2013. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10891605/ http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4868235/#cid:34960083 Month by month passed and I didn't bother reminding her until march 14th the next year. No reply. Tried her DA account at the same time. No reply. Tumblr account. No reply. At this point I simply gave up until I found her twitter and twitch handle. Joined a stream and at the mention of my name she shut the stream down. Someone sent me a link to her tumblr account and once again, no reply. At this point I gave up until I found their twitter and twitch handle. Found her streaming in twitch and tried talking to her there but the moment I mentioned my name she shut the stream down. I also messaged her on twitch. I found her on Instagram and posted on her latest submission that I've been trying to get in contact with her and at this point, I was pretty darn frustrated being 5 years and $105 usd out of pocket so I threatened to take it to artist beware. Needless to say she deleted my comments. While waiting for my art she has been actively taking in commissions from other people and doing works for them as you can see on twitter and Instagram as well as tumblr for some older stuff. As a last ditch effort I also contacted the studio where she works at. 17. On the 29th of March 2018, Wardenz07 requested a commission. He asked me to make a 20K word story about a man who ends up in a rubber funhouse game show, and must escape from various inflatable obstacles. I accepted the commission and we eventually agreed upon $95.00, if I remember correctly. At first, he said that he would pay me half up front, but I waited to ask for the deposit until I was halfway done. When I finished the first half, he said that he was drunk when he wrote that, and that he would pay me once I was finished with the full story. I continued to write the story and I kept him updated and sent drafts of what I had so far. He sent me a lot of messages checking with me every so often. Once I finished, he said he would pay me after it was published. That never happened. I kept checking in with him on the status of the payment, and he kept putting it off. I named the commission The Rubber Funhouse Escape and I posted it in three parts. Part 1https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27163967/, Part 2 https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27681276/, Part 3 https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27986909/. Finally, when I asked him if he had the money to begin with, he said, and I quote, "No I did buy stuff just happened that’s all sorry" That was the last message I got from him before he stopped responding to me entirely. I kept checking in with him regardless, I even offered a payment plan so he could pay me little by little, instead he blocked me. He never complained about what was in the story, or claim that I didn't meet his specifications. Rather he constantly sent me excuses to stall until I finally finished his order. The fact that I never got paid isn't the biggest problem; I felt betrayed since I trusted him. I have a bunch of the messages that he wrote attached here. I can provide more if necessary. I tried posting to an "artist beware" site before, however I did not understand its interface and I eventually gave up. Recently, another writer on Furaffinity reached out to me about Wardenz07 asking about my experience with him. After informing him about what had happened with the user, he directed me to artistsbeware.info. In writing this I hope that Wardenz07 will not be able to hurt anyone again, and hopefully the next artist who works for Wardenz07 will get paid for their hard work.
  18. WHO: Smileeeeeee WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Digital Artwork - YCH (NSFW) WHEN: 12/19/2018 - Present EXPLAIN: So, I commissioned a NSFW YCH piece from this artist in mid December. The turn around time was great, don't get me wrong. However, upon receiving the piece, there were a number of issues that needed correction with markings. Additionally, she had saved my reference on top of the YCH image in the corner so I couldn't use it (see image for better explanation). This is a YCH on a premade base, so I assume corrections can be fairly easy regarding layering. The issues were incorrect colored paw pads, incorrect markings of her groin, and my reference having been saved over the image itself. There is a language barrier between us, so I wrote back and explained what needed to be corrected/removed and thanked her for the piece overall. I didn't intend it to be rude. She responded stating that she'll fix it when possible. But she proceeded to say that my reference was "very poor quality" and stated that portions were not there at all when they were as well as tell me that colors were on it that were not. I even went back and checked the color dropper of my own character to ensure this was correct. The only thing I can imagine that caused these issues is her using my reference to color drop at a very low scale that caused it to be pixelated. My reference itself is a very large scale, so why she shrank it so much is beyond me. She also did not use the Color Swatch on the side. I have never had an artist say my reference was poor. I've never had issues like this prior. I showed my reference to other artists and asked some I have used in the past and they stated they loved the quality and it was easy to use. Summary: While the turn around time was awesome, the image had a lot of issues and seemed to be minor mistakes from lack of observation or care. When asked to make corrections, it was suddenly turned on me and unnecessarily rude towards my artwork/character. I do not feel welcome to commission her again and I don't feel confident that I'll get what I actually paid for. Communication could have been a lot more professional. I had received a deadline of October for this one but sadly that was delayed. I questioned the artist about it a few times after that and the days kept getting pushed further and further back before finally when it came to being asked last week (after failing to complete the commission back on Christmas) as they promised to complete it Monday. They were not in discussion at all and I'm afraid I felt as if I was waiting way too long without any real response so I had to issue a refund. Following months of asking for updates or any signs of life and only being pushed back more and more and more, I'm a bit exhausted of waiting... I'm tired of attempting to comment or note them to little avail until they say "Hey, my internet was out for x long." But, as an artist myself you don't really need the internet to use most programs or continue drawing. 20. I took my 15 year old granddaughter to her first fur con on October 28th. After circling the Dealers Den many times she commissioned this artist to do a badge of her fursona. She paid Zrcalo $15 cash for a gold badge. A photo was taken of her fursona and information was written down in their ledger, ie name, address, special details. Communications have all taken place afterwards on Twitter. I think the copies of this communication will speak for its self. As of today, Jan 7, 2019, the last communications I sent, Dec. 30, 2018, has been ignored by Zrcalo. At this point other furries have come forward to compensate my granddaughter with their kindness. I do not want anything from Zrcalo. I want others to be aware of their unprofessional business practice.

WHERE: DA https://www.deviantart.com/laseros FA https://www.furaffinity.net/user/laseros/ WHAT: Digital Art WHEN: July, 30,2017 to Ongoing EXPLAIN: Alright so to start this was a wonderfully normal interaction between an artist and commissoner that desperately needed help. Hearing from a friend this person needed it I decided to do so and here are those interactions. https://sta.sh/21sj3oko36j0?edit=1 See? Normal. Now this is when it starts to get bad. I noted her after waiting till Jan of 2018 seeing I had heard nothing from her not even WIP's Then again in Mar seen below https://sta.sh/01lchc0oot1w This was never responded to. Now, carrying on I started noticing journals going out. Now, I understand crap happens and all but it became more strange when I kept seeing more and heard absolutely nothing about my commissioned piece back in July. I bought another piece in a small emergency journal https://sta.sh/21u1znxuq0b?edit=1 Not a problem! Was done live stream and everything! Ok! Awesome so waiting a bit longer I noticed more journals as seen below. https://sta.sh/21rdlvl91hrq?edit=1 https://sta.sh/01h6279lkmev So, waiting a bit longer I was finally added to her discord group and therefore was able to get in contact with her via the messenger https://sta.sh/21ypoz22u92p?edit=1 ( Read more... ) Here became a slow progression of feeling overwhelmed with having to gently ask what is going on every now and then. Finally after waiting for a long time with no response I officially gave her an apology and asked for a refund if not a partial as seen in the proof above After waiting and waiting I have yet to recieve any kind of payment or notification from her. This is still an ongoing problem.
  22. On September 21st of 2018 Kircai posted a journal, that has long since been deleted, offering up "Nintendo Themed Commissions" I jumped at the chance to get one, requesting a pic of my sona dressed as Majoras Mask link while also having been regressed with Skull kid/Majora teasing him about playing the song of time too many times. The finalized pic did NOT represent this, and Kircai was very rude towards me, neglected to give any form of progress pics or sketches, and ended up blocking me so i couldn't let him know i was displeased with the final product. This was the final pic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0xj12f7dtxwgx7g/Nintendo - Guba 2.png?dl=0 The only proof i have of him accepting the commission is the paypal transaction: https://i.imgur.com/bvAAR6U.png No further notes or messages were exchanged, other then a comment form him saying he had received payment and would get to work right away on the journal he has since deleted. I opted not to bother Kircai for over a month, as a previous attempt to speak to him resulted in a very rude response and him telling me not to bother him. After a month of not hearing anything from him I tweeted at him asking about the pic, he gave the following reasoning for not giving any updates: https://i.imgur.com/42WFwuF.jpg Everything seemed fine, he gave a reason for being delayed, wasn't rude, and said he would have an update 'tomorrow'. But tomorrow didn't happen, in fact i didn't hear anything from him for another 2 months, during which time he took on piles of new commissions, deleted the journal on FA, and even stopped posting to FA altogether. Finally i decided to tweet at him again about the commission after he opened new commissions for the new year (and had posted a couple as well), but this time he was very rude, made up multiple excuses, and even tried to blame me for his delays: https://i.imgur.com/MyRkvBe.jpg https://i.imgur.com/qh4tCgz.jpg He proceeds to lay all the blame on me, claiming i "Didn't fill the form out correctly" and that caused him to "draw the wrong thing" then my attempt to ask about the commission (which he states in the previous message i didnt reach out, then says i did in the next?) caused him to rush the work and mess up. Then he tried to tell me in the same message that he was planning to do a second free pic for making me wait and because i was 'patient and kind', again saying this in the same message where he blames me for everything. I attempted to point this all out to him, explaining that if i did the form wrong he should have asked me to correct it prior to taking payment, as well as him taking on new commissions, and tell him that i didn't 'reach out' because the last time i tried he told me not to bother him. From there he just kinda goes off the rails, i attempt to apologize for making him feel rushed, he claims he owes me NOTHING despite not even doing the commission i paid for properly, then blocks me. https://i.imgur.com/LbcQMPx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Z9kSwTN.png https://i.imgur.com/17wBKn1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/hXHvxYk.jpg

These were to be picked up at furfright; http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2783126/ http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2808943/ Okay, so I find her table at furfright only to be told that she forgot them and will ship them to me for free after the con. That's fine, a while later i even see this journal; http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2841802/ and thought "awesome, im pretty sure she has my address so i'll get them soon!" but...nope. never got them. so i sent her some small reminders blah blah, no reply. I see a journal that she moved so...okay? http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2925667/ i was fine with that, i moved recently too and understand that things get hectic. So then i see an entry pop up here about her http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/550360.html and contact her straight there. I also see that she doesnt accept notes for commissions now and only does them through email (which i did NOT know because all contact was previously done by FA's note system in the first place) so i sent her an email. a few days later i left a shout on her FA as well. Now it was possibly a bit rushed and i didnt have patience, but since it seems that they had the time to ship other people's orders I'm just a bit worried as to why she wont ship mine. I know that at least the rainbow dash and Li-Li badges are done http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6647697/ so idk. Edit: She JUST contacted me before the entry was accepted (kinda creepy actually LOL) and says she has to redo them because they are lost. It seems that her main problem is actually shipping them out, so i hope this ends well. Edit 2: Just got them today, I'd like to mark this as resolved, thanks!
  24. Dec. 17th, 2011 at 2:40 AM creamytea WHO: KawazuSlime WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kawazuslime/ WHAT: A digital commission of a fully inked and colored three-paneled comic. WHEN: Dec 9, 2011 PROOF: No images beyond text, but textual content NSFW - mature fetish themed. http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/1787/commissionblurred.png EXPLAIN: The linked screenshot in the proof section includes the entire conversation regarding the commission in chronological order from start to finish, including the unimportant parts. Recap: I was initially approached via notes on FurAffinity from someone wanting a commission, NSFW fetish material. The conversation was taken to gmail. The commissioner kept offering to pay me extra or double and mentioned he...had another commission going, and asked me several times about doing other commissions, but continuously complained of not having enough money to pay me fully for my quoted work. I ended up doing a full-color, three-panel comic for $15 less than I originally quoted for a commission of just an uncolored sketch of a 4-paneled comic, so I feel this commissioner got a really good value for his money. Several times throughout the commission, he expressed that he was happy with the results, but continued to ask for minute changes which, up to a point, I was happy to do. Twice after I felt we both considered the commission closed, he asked for more changes to the finished product and at one point he also asked me for free art. I was in direct email communication for two days in a row, answering his emails within minutes of his sending them (evidenced by timestamps in the screenshot). His commission was started and fully finished within 4 days which I find to be an extremely fast turn-around time compared to how long most artists take and given the amount of changes he requested. When I went longer than 15 hours without answering one of his emails, he sent several messages to me through gmail and to FurAffinity insinuating that I was blowing him off, taking his extra $5, and behaving unprofessionally. After a few more exchanges and in less than 24 hours, the same picture had gone from "probably the best commission I've had done in years" to "I should have never commissioned you. I know now that it was a grand waste of time and money..." My personal skills that he had been so happy with before were also called into question in a retaliatory manner. I even did an extra edit for him at the end in good faith so that we could hopefully resolve the transaction smoothly which he threw back in my face, calling me inept. I feel I went above and beyond for this person and worked with him on every detail every step of the way, but he turned out to be fickle and extremely difficult to please. His words could easily crush someone with less fortitude. I have had possibly over a hundred commissions in the last 8 or 9 years and this is the first time I have ended a commission unhappily. UPDATE: I received a new email in my inbox over the holidays from this person: http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/5149/followup.png I am torn about responding. I feel if I respond and tell him no, he will lash out at me again even if I am polite, and if I don't respond at all, he will still lash out for ignoring him. I really do hate to ignore people, but I currently have no intentions of replying. I am posting this update solely to ensure this log remains complete.
  25. Dec. 14th, 2011 at 6:43 PM ryu100 Who: Shivra Where: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shivra/ What: I commissioned her for a doll back in late September/early October. At first, I could expect a reply within a few days, but that seemed to change once she informed that she was shipping the doll. The first time I was told so back on October 18th, I allowed more than enough time for a package to arrive at my location before contacting her again. I was actually given a reply around Nov 2nd saying that the doll was "on it's way", but I can't locate it. It was the last time I've gotten any sort of reply from her and as of now I have clue if the doll was lost in the mail or just never sent at all. She has a journal talking about how she had moved and didn't really have internet access at the time, so I had figured perhaps she was still trying to figure that out. But she's been active on her FA and plenty active on her Twitter this entire time. At this point, I'm starting to not care whether I get either the doll or money back as much as that I'm seemingly being ignored. Edit: The doll has been shipped and arrived at my place today!
