About Me

  1. Last year I commissioned the artist Seoir for an image of one of my OCs. They were offering $25 bust commissions, which was a bit steep for me at the time, but I really liked their art style. So, I send them their money and all is fine. I wait a couple months, because I know how long art can take, and go to message them to see what's happening and where they are at. Turns out that they have deactivated their account, and I have no other way to get in contact with them. So, in conclusion, this is somewhat of an undelivered commission story and definitely a beware story. Hopefully the attachments work. Here are some guides to understand what is happening: png 1-4: My back and forth with Seoir about getting a commission from them. $25 Bust Commission Sheet: One of the pieces that Seoir was using to advertise their commissions. (Sorry I didn't include their name, this was found on Google Images after the fact.)
  2. So I commissioned Alzeaker a few weeks ago before this happened. His customer service was great, and had a quick turn around. I got two cheap ($10 each) sketches for my characters which turned out great. I found out he would be opening again, so the next time he opened (15/03/2019) I grabbed a slot as a gift for my partner. I paid as usual and let him know. Sent over all the commission details, pose, character reference. Everything going well. Proof of payment: After about 10 days I get a sketch. Sketch: I asked if he could relax the brow and in fix the hands a bit, he said he would. That was 3 months ago. Since then I've tried contacting him 3 times on FA via notes, And twice on his page via a shout. I've also tried contacting him over telegram , Facebook and Twitter, neither of the texts have been viewed. I don't really expect this commission to be completed due to him removing all details from his FA and replacing it with this: In addition to this there is a post Facebook with someone calling Alzeaker out for lack of completed work (Can easily be found by typing Alzeaker into facebook) On top of all this he has been active and posting art on his Facebook, You can find his Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/alzeaker/?ref=br_rs as well as his other account here: https://www.facebook.com/caffeinedblackwolf However, this is personal art. Not commission art which he appears to have a back log of. At this point I don't think my commission will be finished seen as his customer service is limited, and just want to warn people by posting this to show his lack of professionalism (As I am aware there is another post regarding his lack of commission completion on Artist beware).
  3. Artist riajoi took my commission (worth 250USD). The agreement was some art of a character. Received updates until a few months ago when my (Discord) messages went unreplied for over 2 months. Noted their account requesting a refund and filed a paypal dispute, received a reply about a week later accepting a full refund and they replied to the dispute allowing the refund. Dispute closes, refund bounces and is cancelled. Unable to get money or open new dispute. Filling out small claims court dispute now.
  4. Never agree to commissions outside of written proof guys. As I don't have the first half the proof will start from the second point onward where they try to resolve the matter. Years ago I made a commission deal on skype to a partial friend (silly me) which was still a professional commission however. They were unresponsive for a while and I inquired about the commission to which I got no response. I since deleted Skype since I don't use it anymore and simply put them on an "owed" list on FA for quite a while. Last year they come to me out of the blue and post this where they do admit to everything. They put the blame on me and then proceed to dock me for a sketch done years ago. At this point a normal person would just demand their money back right? Well I decided to be curt and professional but still give them a chance. They respond to this in a way that even makes me feel embarrassed where they state that they are going to make it faster, messier, and sketchier... but still get their usual quality??? I was confused because it almost seemed like an insult to themself and was also annoyed because they should have made up for not responding for so long. I was again short with them but still polite and gave them a small amount of information to get through the commissions. They say they'll note me by next friday at the latest. The 4th of May, 2018 was a Friday so that meant the 11th which was the next Friday. They get back to me May 26th or more than 3 Fridays later to just apologize and make an excuse again. (Some blurred out as per guideline rules.) I haven't heard from her since and it's now September of 2019. On her profile it says she is even accepting commissions at the moment. As you can tell I have a lot of patience and have literally given them several years to do this. At this point I just want my money back. I didn't really want to have to put someone up on here in the end.
  5. I’ve asked Seiruii, for a commission that I never received from a year ago. I went to a Anime con, they were super busy but my friend’s back was hurting her so I had to leave. They finished my commission and promised to send it...I gave them my address so I can get my commission and...flash forward a year later tada! I got nothing...FREAKING NOTHING! They were busy with work but I didn’t receive my commission. I gave them my hardworking cash from my job that I got had to quit from. they only texted back three times. They claimed that it was sent and also said that they will look in their room and do another one but I haven’t gotten anything. I’m doing this beware because as a reminder and a anime con tip. make sure you get your commission at a anime con, if a artist says that their busy or it will be in a week. Don’t buy from them. I can’t trust Deviant Art Ych/Commissions and Artists in the artist galleries anymore. Because I got ripped off too many times in my life.
  6. So this happened a little bit after I started being more active on FurAffinity. I will write the whole story at the end of the screenshots. Its my first post on here so I'm sorry if the pictures are not in the right order. They messaged me wanting to commission me. They wanted to add me on Discord which we did. We added each other. We discussed the first commission which wasnt a problem at all. Also proof about them sending me their email for the invoice : Im suspecting a dummy e-mail. Proof that I sent them the first commission. They quickly wanted to commission me more, which is completly fine by me. So In total i had around 5 commissions done for them. They promised me 160 USD. I was going to bed. Afterwards I tried to play with them since they added me on a video game. Their nickname ingame was Dumas, which ofc is also his main Account on Furrafinity. (Dumas~) (I got worried about my payment so I googled their name and thats how I found out.) Fluffaroo82 is only their secondary account. Here is the proof that they added me : And now after all the commissions were done, me trying to play with them : And thats how it ends. They slowly started ignoring me : The last message was also sent on FA. The only time they messaged me was to let me know their PC had an issue, which was a COMPLETE lie because they were playing the video game ( Im not going to name the game.) on their own. You can check the last few matches on certain websites for that. So their PC were completly okay. And even then. They couldnt contact me on Discord. FA was still an option. And then I never heard from them ever again. Now here is the full story : I got a message from them on FA, asking for a Commission, which was completly fine - it supports me as an artist! Quickly they told me what exactly they wanted and I finished the commission the same day - and thats when they wanted more and more without paying. Since the art was related to a game we both were actually playing, I asked them for their Ingame name, which was Dumas. Now, since I asked around and also googled out of curiosity, I found out that Dumas~ is his main account on Furaffinity and I could alos see the same likeness in the art they had posted and the ones I got commissioned. ( Scraps, and some in the gallery.) After I told them to pay me and that im closing my commissions for private reasons it started crumbling down. I noticed first that they deleted me ingame. I messaged them asking basically " Why " and that " I thought we wanted to play together?" They started ignoring me, but before that they made me feel "safe" by telling me that they had enaugh funds its just PayPal's fault. So I was patient and gave them a week of a deadline but during that time I didnt even heard anything from them. And here I am. They owe me 160USD worth of art. Edit: 09/25/19 I've been paid!
  7. I had commissioned Nexy way back in the summer of 2016, because I saw through a mutual friend that he was taking commissions to raise enough funds to attend Megaplex that year. I bought two badges in the style displayed in the attachments (character pictured is one he owned at the time; not sure if he still does!). Sadly, I no longer have access to the account I initially commissioned him from, but what I have left is a screenshot from that account proving that I tried contacting him for updates and, consequently, a refund, because of his lack of response and lack of WIPs. I later tried contacting him in 2018 via my personal account, providing that screenshot, as well as the original paypal transaction to prove it was me, and got ignored (and blocked from messaging him ever again). I never had him added or followed anywhere, so I am unaware of any situations he may have gotten into (and his twitter currently appears to be locked at the time of writing), however, he still has a responsibility to keep in touch and communicate about what's going on to his clients. Granted, it's partially my fault for sending the money via friends and family, so I have no way of filing a chargeback (and it's also my fault for waiting this long), but obviously, since then, I've long since learned from that mistake. As of now, I still have not heard back from him at all regarding where I stand as far as getting a refund. (His FB name has been blocked out as it contains his real name, however, you can see his profile pic to note that it's actually him.)
  8. Back in July 2017 I applied for Dubmutt’s fursuit opening for a slot on their January-May 2018 queue. I wanted a fursuit head of my character Loki, he was to have magnetic eyelids, septum, and plugs. Everything seemed to be going well, I received an email accepting my commission and we moved forward from there. My suit was to be $920 with a $276 down payment. July 14th, 2017 I received the invoice and July 24th I made the down payment of $276. On December 26th 2017 I finished paying the invoice, and was told swatches would be sent out soon and I’d get an update when work was started. I reach out on February 2018 to see when swatches would be sent out as I was originally told beginning of December. I also wanted to see where I was at on the queue. Dubmutt told me swatches would be sent a month or so before starting and that I was scheduled for beginning of March. March 7th Dub reaches out to let me know they may need to cancel a few commissions while they focus on their health and that I will be updated. April 19th I reach out to dub out of curiosity of if my project was to be cancelled or completed. I was told mine was still scheduled. A few months go by so I message Dub on August 15th, 2018 to see if there’s been any updates. I am told they are finishing up two other suits and they were hoping to get to mine soon. January 8th, 2019 I reach out again to see if there was any progress. January 12th Dub replies to say they are finishing 3 suits and mine will be next, and to contact them through twitter from now on. August 31st I message Dub on twitter since it’s been quite a while, I ask if there are any updates or even an estimate on when my suit would even be started. September 9th Dub posts a PSA to twitter stating that they will be leaving the fandom, but owed commissions will be done. I haven’t heard from Dub since January 2019. At this point in time, I have received no word about my suit even being started. Update: 09/20/19
  9. The incident happened shortly after I joined furaffinity. I was very naive and decided to unconditionally trust my first ever commissioner... All the attached files must be read from the bottom. Pay attention to dates. Also sorry I'm not good at expressing my thoughts in english (。・・。) Proof that the 1st commission was done: Proof that the 2nd commission was done: Discussing the 3rd commission: proof that the 3rd commission was done Before drawing it I asked about payment for the first 2 arts but Dumas wasn't very willing to pay And this is me trying to get my money but constantly being ignored... In the next image all the white is too personal where Dumas is yet again writes excuses why he can't pay This is the last ever note he sent me claiming that I harass!!! him for demanding payment and threatening to contact paypal. If you're just planning to start taking commissions please don't make my mistake of working without being paid first
  10. This is my first time writing a PSA, and I really didn't want to have to do this, but the lack of communication or regard for commissioners leads me to believe it's necessary -- if only to warn others in the interest of protecting their assets. I commissioned this artist on January 12th of this year, for two flat-colored pieces with a simple bg totaling $140 (transaction proof below). After the initial back and forth regarding references and payment, during which they were very fast to respond to me, I was content to wait and left them to their queue. On March 16th, I politely asked for an update given that I hadn't heard from them. There was no response, and I made another attempt on the 30th just in case they'd missed it. Finally, on April 20th, I decided the lack of reply was too uncomfortable to wait any longer, especially when they were still active on the twitter, stream, and tumblr accounts linked in their website. I filed a claim through PayPal a week after informing them of why I was doing it over both email and DeviantArt notes, since I don't have a twitter. I finally got what seemed like an apologetic and acceptable response on the 22nd, seen here asking me to close the claims in exchange for wip images. To my relief, they were able to provide them. My reply here. At this point, I was ready to close after seeing the very sketchy WIP images (NSFW, so they won't be posted here.) Please learn from my foolish mistake: if you ever feel the need to file a claim with paypal over a piece of artwork and consistently can't get a response, only close it once the work is finished. In retrospect, I was a pushover and I was way too ready to close the claim to avoid conflict. The last communication I received from them was on April 22nd sending me a second WIP. I sent a request for a few small changes in response. On June 8th, I sent another polite poke, followed by a more serious request on June 20th. I've gotten no response since. It's now been over seven months with only minimal and dodgy communication on their end, and none of the promised art. This is not a personal attack on @felixavenier , only an unfortunately necessary warning since they're a popular artist with a lot of commissioners. Please note that their ToS mentions frequent updates . Sadly, the impression I've been left with is that the only updates that will be given are if you threaten action via PayPal.
  11. I opened this YCH for 2 slots scene [NSFW] http://www.furaffinity.net/view/31649056/ This person noted me they wanted to claim both slots with the other person. The buyer replied giving me link to character's ref and email for PayPal invoice I have received the payment and started working on the order. On July 21st YCH had been already done and sent to both customers and was uploaded to my gallery. Also it shows that person had been read the note with the finished artwork. I didn't got any reply from this buyer, but since I had some similar not talkative customers, I assumed that everything is ok. But just recently, on April 30th, I discovered an open dispute in PayPal from Fijipupper with the only description "they scammed me, sadly". So I tried to contact Fijipupper using a messages in the dispute window and here through notes on the FA, but was ignored. After turning to PayPal, the case, unfortunately, was not closed in my favor. (Sorry for the bad quality, the schreenshot was made via phone) All of this has really stressed me out now. I used to get a case in PP before, but after talking with the customer everything was peacefully decided and closed. But seems not this time. In any case, I want to warn other artists to be really careful receiving orders from this person.
  12. What/beware type: disappearing abandoning with debts still owed, theft, leaving when they owe $670 usd Details: March 2018 I commissioned a sketch book commission from valleyhearts, February 2019 came and I asked about it and we agreed on a refund, it’s September and he has deactivated all his social accounts (furaffinity and toy house are still open but I m going to say they’re inactive) I messaged him on TH but haven’t gotten a reply Emailed but haven’t gotten a reply Done business before and hold out his part on art, but his abandoned online for now, with debts owing Can’t do anything with paypal cause it’s over 180 days (tried) Since I’m not able to do anything else (I’ve been recommend to do a small court claim but I don’t know how) so beware is really only thing I think I can do Proof (deviant art with proof of purchase and me sending $670) Instagram (the agreed refund) I don’t know why he said $600 when it was $670? his deactivated accounts PayPal (payment sent)
  13. On December 31, 2018, I commissioned Bree Drake for a full body badge while we were both vending at NYFB. I have screenshot proof of this transaction, despite the fact that it was a verbal, at-con, cash transaction, because I sent them a digital copy of my ref sheet via telegram:, at which time they asked me to confirm the type of commission I had purchased from them. On January 10th, I was contacted via telegram with an update as to the status of my badge, at which time Bree informed me they would be starting work on my badge soon after having some personal issues. Two months later, on March 18th, 2019, I attempted contact on Telegram for an update. My message was read, but not responded to, meaning that Bree elected to actively ignore my message there. She has not been active on telegram since July. Shortly thereafter, on March 21st, I sent her Facebook Page for her studio a message, asking the same question. At this point I was concerned because I was not listed anywhere on her Trello and had not even received the promised WIP. As you can see, some point after this exchange Bree deleted her business page, leaving me unable to contact her here either. As of September 6, 2019, I have not received a badge, a WIP, any further contact (nor can I contact her, as all her accounts seem to have gone dark as of March 2019), or any attempt at a refund.
  14. The artist did a collab of my pic on their canvas (my pic: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27767027/ (NSFW)) and traced parts of it to make it look different https://i.imgur.com/sriQT4B.png (NSFW). Giving this as a result https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32385408/ (NSFW)
  15. A few months ago I had commissioned snuffles to draw my Vaporeon. I did not give any specific action to draw, as I just wanted to see what she could do. The tweet in the discussion of the commission also doesn't appear to exist anymore, as the tweet cannot be found. After a couple of days she began working on the commission and I received the finished piece. A few days ago I received a message concerning the commission, asking if it had been mine and if I had known what had happened to it. They showed me the art that had bee traced, and my own that I had commissioned, and it was exactly the same with minor changes. https://e621.net/post/show/1790823 This is the art that had been traced. https://e621.net/post/show/1978875/butt-digital_media_-artwork-eeveelution-female-hi_ This is her post of my commission After these were confirmed traces it is believed a few other commissions she had done and pieces of artwork were also traces, but I can no longer find the said links and artwork for some of them, as I believe they either were never uploaded to her gallery or deleted after being discovered as traced.
  16. So this all starts with Geckorobot1 (Nyx) Messaging in April asking for a commission. I happily accepted as, while i was working full time at this point, i still made time to do commissions but they were a bit slow going. I kept this person updated as frequently as possible, so communication wasn't an issue. Fast forward to June, the commission is complete and needing to be sent out. I start seeing multiple bewares on twitter about this person filing charge-backs on people even when the art is completed so i hesitate on sending it out for things to die down and see the outcome of all these bewares, more to protect myself than anything. A few days later, i get a charge-back filed through his credit card company. He claims he is not filing any of these chargebacks but i have proof via paypal this isn't the case and im very distraught, because along with the commission cost i now have to swallow the 20$ paypal fee (half the cost of the original commission+) Dispute Paypal transcript (Blocked out my name) I wait to see if i get a message from this person explaining themselves, and i dont. Not a word. I end the dispute and eat the loss, and block them. I then contact paypal and was thankfully able to get a payout so i can safely keep the art and not have to worry about being scammed out of work already done AGAIN. Without adding too much unnecessary info about the drama surrounding this and my conversations with this person arguing about insisting to pay after betraying my trust, I dont believe the list of excuses he gave as to why this happened. It went from, my paypal glitched to i deleted my paypal and it caused charge-backs to its my card messing up. None of which i believe as none of these things actually happen and i have proof from a paypal representative saying these were filed manually. This made me so nervous to continue using paypal but the representative did say that digital artists have protection, so all i can really say is keep receipts of everything and contact the help center if something goes wrong. You are protected. Since i didnt get to save messages of the transaction before i blocked here are messages admitting the charge-back and me denying further payment. I wish i could provide more info but since i shut the situation down so quickly after hearing from others i really didnt have the energy to hear more excuses/ arguing ways to get the art from me.
  17. March 29th 2019, I was approached by Fytch via Discord PM to purchase a character for $15 USD. They expressed interest in a Character I was selling and paid within minutes of me accepting their offer. After 5 months of having the character... July 22nd 2019, I woke up to find a dispute against the money they had paid. I was already wary as others had spoken of they had chargebacks against them as well and waited for my turn. As of right now, no contact was made between us about the dispute even though in their discord group I had asked if they were filing a chargeback against me. They responded to a friend that they intended to pay everyone back but I have not received any word on this matter. Character Link (NSFW): https://toyhou.se/3668260.-15-usd A ticket has been issued to ToyHouse in hopes to retrieve the character. Update: Fytch has issued a second chargeback. Update 08.09.19 I received an email containing the following as attached. As well the fee applied to my account. After speaking with paypal I will be unable to retrieve the funds lost due to the credit card company. Fytch made a journal with an "update" http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9229414/ The amount they have listed is wrong and have left a comment. As I am only charging for the fees that went on my account since the adopt has been returned to me via ToyHouse Admins.
  18. Commission was asked for through DM's on twitter. Invoice was paid on the 29th of July Commission was completed 30th of July and delivered/received. Dispute was made August 15th User seems to have changed their twitter handle in that time. ( Previously @ FoxyAnya_ | Currently Aika_productions ) I have included the form reference link opened as a screenshot and a screenshot of the character ref provided via DM to prove it is the same commissioner by reference given despite the name change. I contacted them via DM and learned that they were on the used paypal account with their guardian. (I also speculate this is why the invoice e-mail is different from the dispute e-mail on paypal) The guardian has filed the dispute. After further discussion with the client it appears they asked for the commission. Paid for it, and now the guardian is disputing. I requested to be put in contact with the guardian to try to resolve this. Client dodged this request. I inquired if they had text proof of the guardian granting permission for them to get the commission through the account. They said yes, they had texted it. When I asked for a screenshot for my paypal case they stated they could not find it and stopped responding. Paypal dispute is still pending. I have provided all information I could to paypal at this point, however, as this client claims to not be in charge of the paypal account they utilize I felt this warranted a warning.
  19. I commissioned this artist to make a character sheet for my OC for $100. I paid upfront. Though he was iffy about the proposed due date, he said he'd do his best and I was willing to allow wiggle room. I contacted him a month later (May 23rd) to ask about progress. He said he'd get back to me, but didn't until June 27th, saying I "Slipped" his "mind". I poke him again on July 20th, and he claims that he's been sick all month. I send one "hello" message on August 8th and another on August 17th. No response. During this entire time, CozyCollie has been tweeting about accepting more commissions and doing YCH's. The screenshots I provide are of our DM's and some posts he's made regarding taking more commissions after I paid him for mine.

  21. Jun. 17th, 2012 at 9:08 PM Paskhowl Thylacine WHO: Akemi/Flarveon/Poppy Pandacoon WHERE: http://www.facebook.com/PoppyPandacoon http://www.furaffinity.net/user/flarveon/ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/poppypandacoon WHAT: $15 digital bust badge commission WHEN: I answered Poppy's Facebook post advertising badge commissions to be done that night, on February 1st, 2012, and sent payment. The final product was delivered on May 26, 2012. PROOF: 1. http://imm.io/sZUf (payment, with date) 2. http://imm.io/sZUu (stream conversation part 1) 3. http://imm.io/sZUz (stream conversation part 2) 4. http://imm.io/sZUA (finished product, with date) EXPLAIN: She advertised doing bust badges that evening, so I sent her the payment (see link 1). She didn't do it that night, or the following night like she said. I'm very patient with commissions, so I wasn't too fussed. Within a week, she had a sudden interest in animation and worked on "jumping icons", including giving out free ones to people who requested it at that time on Facebook. Still not a big issue. A month later she still knew I was on her to-do list, by tagging me in a Facebook post, and said she'd clear up her list. Still nothing. I tried to contact her through email (on April 17) and several other occasions via Facebook private message and on her Facebook wall, but she still never replied to me. Communication was extremely difficult. Poppy frequently posts about what she is doing, but something always seems to be broken whenever anyone wants to contact her. (see link 3) At one point, she had adjacent posts on Facebook: one saying "the best way to contact me is email", and the one next to it saying "My email is broken, I'm not receiving them." Roughly three months from the commission date, I hopped onto her stream and asked her to start my badge, which had turned into a "full body feral upgrade", which I'm not sure was really an upgrade. I think she only said yes because she thought I was a new commissioner and wanted the money coming in. (see link 2) She stopped at the sketch stage because she had to go to sleep, but refused to work on it any further until I attended another of her streams, which wasn't practical for me. Over a week passed and I asked for a refund on her Facebook wall, which wasn't replied to. Ultimately, she only finished my badge because a friend of mine reminded her in one of her streams to do it. I could accept a lot of the delays if she bothered to actually respond to her commissioners. The outright worst part for me was her constant complaining on Facebook about a fursuit commission of hers being delayed, and how the maker was accepting new commissions before her one - meanwhile, she was doing the same thing to a throng of her own commissioners without remorse.
  22. Jun. 12th, 2012 at 4:37 AM pyeklet WHO: Akemi/Flarveon/Poppy Pandacoon WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/flarveon/ WHAT: I asked her to make a tail for me and paid $30 in cash, this commission was taken in person so I have no digital proof of the transaction. WHEN: In around March last year I asked Akemi to make me a tail at a local coffee meet and paid her in cash. I told her the details and showed references from my FA page. I asked if it could be done by FurDU, a convention on the Gold Coast in Australia, which was at the end of April. She agreed that she could have it done by that time. I didn't ask her about it for some time even after the deadline passed, nor did I have any contact from her about it, I'm quite a patient person. I was the first to initiate contact again via PM in May of last year at which time she stated she had received the wrong fur and offered me a refund, which I accepted. She said it would be in my account the following Wednesday but then sent a PM almost a week later saying that she couldn't pay. I said that it was fine and I understood. There was no further contact on this matter until November last year when I again asked about my refund, this time over FA notes. She said she couldn't pay me because she had to put it towards bond and only gets paid fortnightly but would pay me the next time she was paid. I said I would contact her in a week but I didn't feel comfortable, I was following her journals at the time about her moving and I felt that if I contacted her again I would just get another run around. Finally in March this year I told her not to worry about the refund, I had seen her journals about needing surgery so I thought it might help her out and I didn't feel like flogging a dead horse any longer. PROOF: EXPLAIN: I did resolve this issue I suppose, by giving up (never got a note back after that final one btw although it was read). It was annoying that she owed me money but was taking commissions, selling suits, working and BUYING commissions (and a new Artslave suit recently?) but didn't have $30 to pay me.

I wasn't on the list originally, and asked if she had forgotten our trade: http://i48.tinypic.com/11hujwi.png http://i48.tinypic.com/1ekzeo.png http://i48.tinypic.com/zl2av8.png And the link to the journal: http://samiesaurus.deviantart.com/journal/REQUESTS-AND-TRADES-STILL-OPEN-218018420?offset=50#comments She switched accounts over to samiechu/sxmie and I deactivated my old account and switched to JackalTeeth in January of this year, so I noted her new account to let her know that I had changed accounts as well: http://i45.tinypic.com/2ihqog9.png She didn't respond, but read the note. She made a poll asking for more trades in March, and I as well as another user commented stating that we have been waiting awhile for our trades. She says she thought that she had given me her half, but I never received it, so I asked her to link it to me again if I had missed it: http://i50.tinypic.com/o8eaaf.png http://i49.tinypic.com/2j885g.png She went on to take requests and complete a bit of them, they can be seen in her gallery: http://i45.tinypic.com/28meq2g.png The link to her journal: http://sxmie.deviantart.com/journal/#/d51un5o I noted her again as I was beginning to get impatient, and I am not the only one who has been waiting almost 2 years for their half of a trade. She said that she was busy with university, which I would completely understand if she wasn't taking requests and finishing them in a matter of days/weeks, as well as more art trades that she has finished quite quickly. My note to her: http://i47.tinypic.com/zlb329.png Her response: http://i48.tinypic.com/29a7u0.png She says that I am "hassling" her even though I have only contacted her less than 5 times about the trade since we set it up almost 2 years ago, and once to let her know I had switched accounts. I do not mind waiting years for a trade, or any amount of time really. But she has been rude to me in her latest response, and has been completing many other things during this time period. When we first set up our trade she was not attending university, and had plenty of time to complete it before she had gone, and obviously has extra time to complete it even now since she has been taking many other requests and trades. She is also holding a contest with some pretty hefty art prizes, as in full pieces and such. Overall I am very disappointed and stressed over this situation. I'm also concerned that I may have been pushy without meaning to be, and if anyone here thinks that I was at any point out of line, I would very much like it if you told me so. EDIT: She finished her half of the trade, and I am very disappointed. It seems very rushed to me? Here it is: http://sxmie.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d53b61m And a re-upload: http://i45.tinypic.com/2h375uf.png Compared to the requests she has been taking, this looks pretty poor. I would have gladly waited longer for something even like some of the requests she's been taking, honestly. I just asked for progress from her, not to rush through her half. She also made a journal that has left a bad taste in my mouth. It just seems very passive aggressive. It can be seen here: http://my.deviantart.com/messages/#/d53b6cb And a screengrab: http://i45.tinypic.com/2a95heg.png This is less about how long she takes one some trades an more about her attitude, I suppose. Forgive me if I seem short of digital breath or anything, I just got back from a convention and am exhausted.
  24. May. 10th, 2012 at 1:33 PM red13nanaki WHO:AluminemSiren WHERE: FA WHAT: $25 Portrait Commission WHEN: October 27th 2011 PROOF: Journal Entry http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2853928/ Paypal Receipt http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/3028/co124wcol124maillivecom.jpg This is my first post here and I believe it has come to the point now where more attention needs to be brought to this. Because I am not the only one going through this situation. Back in October AluminemSiren had opened up for some more of his portrait commissions. I had liked his style so I had jumped at it since I was around when he put a journal up on it for a change. I ended up being one of the first people to comment in the journal, paid right after it and was on the actual list of people to be completed first. After some time he continued to add to the waiting list and also ended up opening up for more icon commissions for "new glasses money". I know how it is with art and I figured it was kind of an emergency so I never said anything. Though at one point I checked his portrait queue journal to see if it was updated at all or if maybe he updated mine and I somehow missed the sketch of the drawing. At which point I had noticed one of the new ones he was taking where he said he would have the sketch to them in a day or two. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2853928/#cid:23299249 Finally last month after waiting about six months for the drawing I started throwing him comments as to what was going on because he put up yet another journal for more icons because they "need something to do" and "won't have time for portraits." I had commented in that journal to try and get an answer from him and at the same time I sent him a note on it. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3373137/ He has since then hid my comment in the journal and replied to me afterword finally. Here is my note to him and the one I got back from him. http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/6375/wwwfuraffinitynetviewme.pnghttp://img716.imageshack.us/img716/6375/wwwfuraffinitynetviewme.png After which I had sent him a reply on a few things that I would like changed with the drawing. http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/6375/wwwfuraffinitynetviewme.png At this point I have yet to hear back from him again on anything and I had sent him another note asking for an update on the drawing and it is yet to be read. http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/6375/wwwfuraffinitynetviewme.png For as long as I've waited for this I don't want any kind of refund or anything like that. Especially since he has given me a quick sketch on the drawing. I just want to get the finished product from him and not have this drag along anymore. Update 5/27: He's commented on the actual post here, " Sorry, I haven't really replied to any of my notes since I came back out of town. I'm going through a really rough breakup, and been emotionally drained, maybe even depressed, and I've lost the motivation to do much of anything at the moment. I don't like to explain myself anymore because I think most people will think I'm just trying to think of the latest, greatest excuse to not work on my commissions, but I really have been an emotional wreck these past few weeks and it's killer on my motivation." He has yet to try updating anyone on his actual FA page, yet has been faving art and has shouted on one of this friend's pages. Update: 9/19/2012 I figured I would attempt to update my post here, though there really hasn't been much at all to update on. There really hasn't been much mention or updates to anyone's artwork except for this post months ago http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3560664/ and I never heard anything back as far as the changes on mine. Other than where he has the list at mine is marked as inking. I've also been hesitant on updating this or asking him for any sort of update because I didn't want to get any lash back from any of it. I've already received that when this was originally brought up and one of his friends took it upon themselves to start something on my page. http://imageshack.us/a/img694/706/screenshot213i.png The one thing that was discussed was even if he has no control over what his friends say or do it is bad business practices to have your friends run amok and cause problems while there are some problems that need to be dealt with. I would personally not shop at a place where the owners friends were allowed to act out and cause problems in the store while I was shopping there. As far as any of the comments making fun or joking about the "where's my art and such" there hasn't been anything else on that as far as I have seen. So that had finally stopped. Right now it's at a standstill again and don't know whether I should contact him again about the art or not. Update: 10/10/2012 He has been slowly working on the drawings once again. At first he was working down the list, but is not jumping around it again. Completing one of the commissions that is toward the bottom of the list that was taken a few months after the ones at the top. After he said in one of his journals he was going to group the commissions up and work down them in said groups. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3560664 He is also apparently going to jump to someone else's because they brought it up with him in a recent journal, but again they haven't been waiting as long as some others, but he is going to work on theirs first. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3911849/#cid:29141729 Update:12/20/2012 Back on October 17th he had posted a journal stating that after a break from attempting to catch up on his backlog he was going to jump back in and work on it again. Since then there has been no more progress and the only update he has posted on his profile was on November 2nd when he stated he had a Weasyl account. On December 5th I had shouted on his page asking for any kind of update on the drawing and it's gone completely ignored. Someone else asked as well on the 10th and it's gone ignored as well. He has been active on the account however because he has been watching new users. So he is once again avoiding the entire situation.
  25. May. 7th, 2012 at 9:55 PM wilhawk Last iFC, I wanted to get a badge from him. Something simple. He was doing sketches and badges of characters dressed up in Video Game attire. During my huge kick with Tales of Vesperia, I wanted my character dressed as Karol Kapel from Tales of Vesperia. WHO: Dariuskoopa or DMK WHERE: iFC 2011. WHAT: I commissioned him to make a badge of my character in person. WHEN: Ever since August of 2011 at last years iFC. I've noted him various times in regards to the progress an at least getting an email of the completed product. I saw him at MFF as well, and he told me that he would bring it, provided I noted him, which I did, and something else that I forgot to do. He doesn't send anything in the mail, due to past bad experiences. I've noted him countless times and he said that he has and would email it again, but I have yet to get any emails on it. PROOF: http://tinypic.com/r/eb1l5y/6 http://tinypic.com/r/r26a9y/6 http://tinypic.com/r/3539khv/6 http://tinypic.com/r/2cr2b9t/6 EXPLAIN: He's a friend of mine and I wanted to give him some business at the con, so I got a badge and heard he doesn't send stuff over the mail. Bad experiences and I can dig that. I mean, if something sucks enough, you find work arounds. I've been noting him since August of 2011 and I have been getting responces on it, and notes stating that it was emailed to me, yet I still haven't received it. He did a journal of people he still has to email stuff out to and to note him, which I did, and I still haven't gotten anything on it. Granted, it's been a couple months since I've last noted him because I'm getting tired, but still. The transactions were in person, so there is no receipt or anything of the like, sadly. I'd just like to see my work that I commissioned for.
