Since then somebody else she owed art has told me that she's no longer doing mature art and that they're getting G-rated art from her instead. I find it ridiculous that I had to find this out from another customer of hers who was also getting impatient with the waiting time and the fact that she was taking on more commissions instead of dealing with her backdated stuff, rather than her noting me and informing me and offering G-rated art rather than the R-rated one, or offering me a refund.
 2. MOD NOTE: This artist has completed all their outstanding commissions. Originally posted on Apr. 23rd, 2013 by missicee WHO: Pirate-Cashoo WHERE: www.furaffinity.net/user/Pirate-Cashoo Pirate-cashoo.deviantart.com www.hentai-foundry.com/user/zombiepirate/profile pirate-cashoo.tumblr.com/ WHEN: November 11, 2011 WHAT: Hi Res Full Color Commission via her FA account ($150 paid) EXPLAIN: I commissioned her for another hi res full color commission on November 11th, 2011 after having two prior commissions with her that went smoothly and without trouble. I attempted to communicate with her regarding my commission as best I could over time but she was certainly difficult to reach. After the recent outbreak of AB posts and Paypal chargebacks, I tried to work out a peaceful resolution with her and put faith in her to finally complete my commission and start to fix her growing negative reputation but her actions and responses (or often lack thereof) have shown me that she isn't as interested as I had hoped she would be. The following three images should speak for themselves and contain all the proof necessary including the screencap of the Paypal transaction. I created them to submit as proof for a Paypal claim so please excuse the brief explanation of things people of this community may consider common knowledge. Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: The Paypal claim was opened today and I am hoping they will file in my favor. If they do not, I will be attempting to get my money back through my bank. I am disappointed that someone with such talent is choosing to take this path but I attempted to give her the benefit of the doubt by letting her fix this and she chose not to. BEWARE!! EDIT 1: Paypal apparently automatically closed my case against her as it was over 45 days old. Guess it's time for me to go to my bank... EDIT 2: Filed a claim with my bank today (April 24th)... I should hear in the next 14 days if they're able to help me as typically they are only able to file cases within 90 days. If it doesn't work, I will follow the advice to call Paypal. EDIT 3: (May 3rd) Bank was unable to help due to the amount of time that's elapsed... going to try calling Paypal instead of filing online but at this point, I just think my money is gone :C
 3. Originally posted on Apr. 14th, 2013 by isteillia I've not posted on LJ in a while, as I've been more active on Tumblr, but I felt that those who still deal between the sites might appreciate the heads up. Back in November (2012) I commissioned Pleg to do a piece of art. Names have been blacked out for privacy. https://i.imgur.com/jNoVKWt.jpg She seemed fine with the piece I asked for. I went ahead and paid for it.https://i.imgur.com/3YyP2Um.jpg I don't hear from her for quite a few months, so I ping her. In February. https://i.imgur.com/YSQfOzG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/6iCvFPW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9HE69tW.jpg I am told it's "too complicated." I'm a bit irritated, but tell her I can go for something less detailed, or take a refund. She says she can do something less detailed and that she will work on it. I never hear from her again. So I ping her a week ago (As seen above) and no response. I also sent her an ask on Tumblr, since I saw her post. Still no response. I'm also a stupidly nice person, and sent the payment as a "Gift/Payment Owed" instead of "Goods/Services" to keep her from paying fees, so I am unable to dispute the payment and get the money back. I'm normally a patient person when it comes to commissions, but this lack of communication is what turns me from patient to bitter and angry. Avoid commissioning this artist if you can, you may not get what you paid for at all. Edit: Situation has been resolved; she got back to me finally and is issuing a refund. Still rather irritated that this took so long, but I'm glad it's done with.

I want to warn commissioners of this artist and would still like a refund, or my final piece that was promised. (Edit 1-05/01/2013) Today she has posted a journal on DeviantART (http://fav.me/d63qoz5) talking about her medical problems and everything she has been enduring, along with this sentence at the bottom: "if you're still waiting on a commission, as i know a few of you are, i greatly apologize. i'm still locating some files from when my computer was wiped, but i will get back to you, i promise. the art must go on! i cannot offer refunds at this time, but i will offer apology freebies if you're interested in another piece. i feel terrible that some of you have had to wait so long, and i hope you can forgive me and return in the future!" Yet she has not responded to my email, but my note does show as read, She uploaded the sketch that she showed me back in January- http://fav.me/d63qry2 Update: 07/21/2013 The artist has finally uploaded my commission and opened up more slots. 5. Orginally posted on Apr. 1st, 2013 by vaerinn WHO: Zipperface WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/zipperface WHAT: Coloured+shaded wing-it commission, $50 WHEN: On 12 March 2012 I commissioned Zipperface and paid them. A few hours later I was sent a WIP of the picture for approval, which I gave. A month went by without anything more from the artist, though they were still active on FA and their Tumblr at the time. On 25 April 2012 I sent them a note asking for an update, at which point I was told they were in trouble. A few months later they'd cleaned up shop and left FA entirely. PROOF: Initial exchange: Proof of payment: Later note: FA page as it is now: EXPLAIN: Zipperface had a journal offering a single slot for a one character wing-it, coloured and shaded, to be done using some new colouring method or style they wanted to experiment with. I noted them and got the slot, paying them as soon as they asked. I was sent a WIP just an hour or so later, and after that, nothing. About a month later I saw they were open for pencil sketch commissions and noted them asking how my commission was coming along, only to be told that the picture was coloured but that nothing more could be done till they replaced their broken tablet. I was willing to wait, so I was willing to let it go. Just a few months later, though, I stopped by Zipperface's FA and found that all scraps, favorites, contact info and journals had been deleted, and that their Tumblr (name of which I can't remember) was deleted when I checked in on that, too. Since then I've tried noting them, leaving shouts, and even e-mailing them, but I haven't heard anything and, judging by the other shouts on their FA page, neither has anyone else. Long story short, I'm out 50 bucks and Zipperface is MIA. I have no idea what's going on with them, or even if they're still around. If they're still active somewhere online, I have no idea what name they're going by now.

When: September 2012 Proof: Screenshots will be Provided below Details: 1. While at Saboten2012 I was selling a few things at a mini flea market the con had going on Saturday night. Among the things I was selling was a fursuit tail. Ravinghachi approached me asking if I would trade art the tail. An agreement was reached, and she left with the tail. 2. I sent her the details for the badges when I got home. The original note can be seen here (this is the 'lots of details' image) which has links and a detailed description outlining what I specifically wanted for the badges. 3. On November 2nd I received this reply that progress was excellent and she could drop them off if we set up a place to meet. During the holiday season it's really difficult for me have to for meeting people, so I asked for a scan. She said her scanner was broken, but had been uploading a lot of photos during that time. I asked if it was possible for her to send a photo of the badges. 4. On November 26th she sent me a note saying she was going to post my badge that night, but days went by and the scan wasn't posted. 5. On November 30th she responded the same day with a link to the badge (screenshot here). This is the badge that was posted. It's cute and all, but not really what I had asked for. In my reply I tried to politely express my concern for the lack of second badge and my description not being followed. She told me the second badge was still being worked on. I tried to figure out what to do about the first badge being incorrect and communication ceased. 6. I then saw her wearing the tail at TaiyouCon (Jan 4-6) while working at my dealer's table. Unfortunately I was unable to talk to her in person. 7. On Jan 8th I sent her a note which was read within 24 hrs, but has not been answered. That note can be seen here. 8. I left another comment on her page of Feb 23rd (screenshot here from my nexus). When I checked back tonight she had deleted it, with no answer to me at all (screenshot here). She responded by saying she didn't see/delete the comments. (I seem to have misplaced that screenshot.) I asked again for the money she owes me, she told me she had to use her mother's paypal because she didn't have one. 9. I waited again with no contact, so I left another comment on her front page. Her responses are here. She says her Paypal money was stolen, and that's why she can't pay me. 10. I noted her as mentioned, this is the final note I sent, which was read, before making this post. Here's the entire album of screenshots, since there are too many to post above. (Mod note: No other relevant to beware images were in this LiveJournal image folder at the time of archiving this post.) EDIT: 4/22/13 My account has been blocked. [screenshot] I'm obviously not getting my money or anything else from this artist. TL:DR RavingHachi and I agreed to a trade at Saboten2012: my $60 tail for two conbadges by her. After being given specific instructions, she did one of the badges which did not follow the guidelines set. After I mentioned to her that it wasn't right, she flipped out on me and stopped answer my messages. After trying to contact her again she blocked me and deleted my comments, then proceeded to tell people 'it was settled and she had paid me'. This isn't true: she still has the tail, and I didn't receive either of the conbadges. EDIT: 3/20/2014 I have not been compensated for the tail as of this writing, contrary to what this she is currently telling people.

That said I feel like I need to warn potential buyers again (she’s been doing this a lot.) about Pirate-Cashoo/Cachet. All I would like to do is get in touch with her and get what I paid for or to have her reimburse me as 60 dollars is a lot of money to me and I could put it elsewhere or towards another artist who actually wants to do the artwork I‘d asked for. Now: On October 15th, 2012 I decided to get myself and my boyfriend at the time a set of icons from her as a gift, I have a screen cap of how that went above. I’m keeping anyone who is not me or Cashoo anonymous as I am the person with the problem here, and not the others involved so the grey text is only usernames/references that are not mine. Just so we’re clear. As you can read for yourself from the links, She seemed a little hesitant but told me that the wait would be a few months as she had a pretty big queue and so forth. I didn't mind waiting as I’d purchased another set of icons during the duration of the time, and as an artist myself I understand how art takes time and artists are not robots etc. I contacted her again on October 25th because the person I had originally wanted the icons with and I had split ways and after communicating with him I switched the person I wanted to get the icons with and she okayed it with me. Told me she had not started them yet which did not really surprise me as she’d mentioned prior until November she would be pretty busy. So I was okay with that response, and didn't contact her back until November 12th. I hadn't thought about when she told me she’d start them and had forgotten she had family plans. Again just being friendly and curious about them I shot her another note. I can’t unfortunately find the message she responded to me about but it was something along the lines of “Sorry I haven’t started them yet, my family is down…” It was all good, and I told her to have a good time with the family and again not to rush. I then contacted her in December as I was curious why she hadn't gotten a sketch to me, but figured it was Life issues. Told her I wouldn't mind seeing a sketch before she completed a final product as I was curious if she had made any progress on the icons. She in this time started to just entirely not read or ignore my notes, and I have not been able to anchor her down for a response since then. She did however -read- this note, so there is that. My last note I left on February 23rd 2013. I actually noted her on deviantART account prior to FurAffinity (i copied and pasted the message directly from the note i sent on deviantART) but she didn't respond to either or read the note on FurAffinity (I have no idea if you can check who reads what on deviantART as I don't use it aside from a place holder.) I’m not making this to get people mad towards Pirate-Cashoo, but I will say that I'm severely disappointed in her business management skills and as an artist who does this as a full time job I don’t understand her complete avoidance or lack of a schedule. I love her artwork but I feel like I need to warn others about her business practices, I'm very disappointed. I wanted to let you guys know that if I were you to watch out and maybe hold off on getting art from her. She's a friendly artist to communicate with but I'm kind of tired of lack of updates/getting a bunch of excuses from her. I hope that she reads this and gets at the very least in touch with me so either discuss a refund or give me a concise deadline. ~Lorena.
 8. Mod Note: This artist has completed all their outstanding commissions. Originally posted on Mar. 20th, 2013 by radcatastrophe WHO: PirateCashoo (FA)/(DA) WHERE: Furaffinity/Gmail WHAT: I ordered a HQ Colored Fullbody of x2 Characters WHEN: I sent the initial email with details on August 31th 2012 PROOF: Commission Journal - Notes - Emails - Paypal Payment (mod note: all proofs have been removed in the 9 years since originally posted.) EXPLAIN: I discovered Cashoo through A_B and decided to give her a go since her past cases were resolved and thought she'd changed, I saw she was looking for some help to raise money for her first months rent and decided to jump on the deal. After discussing details with my boyfriend I went ahead and sent her the email as well as the payment of $185 plus another $20 for the detail background after finally hearing from her on the 9th of September, then on the 13th of October she requested yet another $20 for props (his guitar) I told her if things went well with my other commissions I'd pay it off to her. After my last email which was sent on the 14th of October I sent another on the 19th of November asking how she was doing and how the commission was coming along (I also sent an email during some down time on FA on 09/10/12) with no response until I sent another email on November 23rd after reading her latest beware here, I let her know how I felt about the emails she was sending and didn't want my commission experience to end up like this and suggested that she try to show her customers that she is working on their commissions through private or public live streams, talk to me about a deadline she could meet (which we never did), or even update me again on any progress on my commission. From her response it felt like she didn't even read or understand my email to her and began to ramble about things that weren't even relevant to the email. She told me she'd give a more thought out and thorough reply, which I never got and I continued to pester her on the same day she sent me the email responding to mine and then on every month since this year started - Jan 7th, Feb 5th, and March 3rd with nothing back from her. EDIT #1: Corrected a typo and adding a screenshot of my latest email to her after posting on her Deviant Art page stating that I had posted her here and would be emailing her soon. From Me: Email - 03/22/13 EDIT #2: I'd like to add that I am considering a chargeback or following the flock of those wanting to contact Paypal together to get them to look into what she's doing (or rather not doing) and getting her to either complete our commissions(?) or give us all refunds to the work she has not completed. An Email regarding my previous post to this edit. EDIT #3: Awhile ago I sent an email giving her a deadline of April 29th 2013 to either complete the commission, refund, refund+give permission to the rights of the image to have it altered by another artist. She has not emailed me back so I'm going to assume "No" for all of those requests, I'll be getting my boyfriend to file the charge back since this was going on during our shared Paypal/Bank Account time and I'll update with how things are going/went. EDIT #4: We've contacted Paypal Customer Services and received a refund for our September 22nd transaction of $20 and have been instructed to contact our bank for a chargeback for the initial transaction of $190. Paypal has informed us that we should see our money within 24hrs from the call. - This can be marked as resolved! Also for anyone with Bank of America you have a very slim chance at getting back money past 60 days of initial transaction (what we were told) but they told us they'd look into it (could take up to 90 days) but it is very unlikely that they'd go through with it. EDIT #5: After about a month or so of getting the money back for our commission out Bank went and took it back... So I dunno if anyone would count this as resolved still (my boyfriend personally doesn't because now we're in the negatives because of it).
 9. Mod Note: This artist has completed all their outstanding commissions. Originally posted on Mar. 19th, 2013 by houndofloki WHO: Pirate Cashoo WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/pirate-cashoo pirate-cashoo.deviantart.com pirate-cashoo.tumblr.com zombiebooty.tumblr.com (NSFW) WHAT: 2 pictures. One high-res of a single character, one sketch of two characters that she later offered to upgrade to a colored sketch in apology for the wait - but I haven't seen anything on either. WHEN: High res was October 2011 EXPLAIN: I will concede right off the bat that this situation is partly my own fault. I have a busy job, and don't tend to 'check in' with artists all that often. I paid in full up front for both of these images but went a long time without contacting her, because the 'honor system' has worked out fine for me in the past. I bought a second picture from her when the other one was a year overdue, which was stupid of me - but I honestly lost track of just how long it had really been. So it's partly on me that it has reached this point. I took way too blase an attitude to buying art online, but I've learned from this. I had bought pictures from Cashoo successfully a couple of times in the past, and arranged to buy one of her high-res commissions when she opened them up in a journal. The price for it was $140. This was October 2011. I paid for it in full upfront. This is where I let things go for quite a while. I bought a couple of bust images from her, and both were completed in a decent timeframe - so I wasn't too worried about the high-res at that point. 10/14/2012: I checked in with her about and she said it was nearly done. At this point, the problem she was having was something to do with a car; I'm a little fuzzy on details now. I figured the high-res was forthcoming and bought a two-character sketch from her for 90 bucks to help her out (I know. Dumb of me.) 11/12/2012: She replied to me saying she had started a sketch but lost it in some kind of computer disaster. Promised to give a sketch in 'the next few days', and said she would do it tonight except she had to pay $200 in bills tomorrow? What that has to do with sketching now, I don't even know. I kept my response positive because I was still hoping to get my picture. Journals about various personal problems holding her progress were posted in this timeframe. 12/4/2013: No sketch. She had posted one of those long whiny journals, but I wanted a specific update about my picture and sent an FA note. It was read, but not responded to. Late December 2012: After my note on FA went ignored, I saw her post a Tumblr update about doing a stream. I unfortunately don't have screenshots of this, but I stepped into the stream and talked to her. She apologized repeatedly for still not having a sketch and said my picture was next in the queue after the one she was currently working on (which was Svarta-Perlan's, another AB entry). She offered to upgrade the sketch I bought in October 2012 to a colored sketch as an apology for the wait. Yeah, okay, fine. January-February 2013: I sent a couple of Tumblr asks requesting updates, because that seemed to be the site she was using most regularly. Tumblr doesn't record those...but they weren't responded to, anyway. March 12 2013: Sent another FA note asking for an update. Still unread a week later, though she has been replying to comments on DA. As of today - I still have yet to see even a rough sketch on either image. Her story on DA comments is now that's she's facing eviction. Who knows. I honestly just hope I'll get either the commissions or a full refund at some point. Evidence: http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu161/BeckytheFox/ScreenShot2013-03-19at101808PM_zps19e70f98.png http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu161/BeckytheFox/ScreenShot2013-03-19at102443PM_zps785ab745.png http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/uu161/BeckytheFox/ScreenShot2013-03-19at101314PM_zpsc7d6342d.png EDIT 4/1/2013 I caught up with Cashoo on Livestream. She sent me an invite to the Asana program and showed me a WIP of my high-res commission (refined sketch with lighting shaded in). So there has been progress.

EXPLAIN: I commissioned xk2x for a stylized pinup of my character and paid for it on the 10th of December 2012. https://i.imgur.com/0o0YzvJ.png (Her accepting my commission and proof she got the payment) http://i.imgur.com/C3uHhNF.png (journal in which she advertised the pinups) (mod note: image removed) https://i.imgur.com/8pcQaxr.png (Paypal proof) I realized something was going wrong when I had seen her submit commissions that she had advertised for after she had accepted mine and I decided to ask her for an estimated time of completion. https://i.imgur.com/MJcQ92Z.png (SOME of the commissions that were advertised after mine and completed) At this stage it was now over 2 months since I had paid for my commission. She told me that she couldn’t give me an eta, but that she would hopefully have them done within the next fortnight. http://i.imgur.com/RNBGi9c.png (Email) (mod note: image removed) At nearly 3 months (March 2nd), I sent her an email saying that if my commission would not be finished by the 10th of March, I would like a refund. She replied that she would refund my money. http://i.imgur.com/qGaxKM8.png (Email asking for refund) (mod note: image removed) On March the 11th (still not having got a commission or refund) I asked when she would have the funds to refund me and I now have to wait until Friday 15th of March to see if those funds come through. http://i.imgur.com/qoc7k1d.png (Asking about the refund again) (mod note: image removed) *EDIT* I was refunded on the 17th :) finally! Despite some people telling me that I should take this down now that its resolved, I'm not going to. I want people to be aware that this artist HAS stuffed me around.

December: Three journals in December state that her father has been ill, and will be returning home soon, so she has been very stressed out. January 11th: Artist posts a journal says that she has gotten too far backlogged because of her family issues and will give everyone a refund. I tell her that I would rather wait, and she says she will finish my art soon. January 21st: Since last contact, the artist has been taking many new comissions, and I ask why. she responds that she has been catching up on old comissions and will note mine to me soon. She asks how much I paid and my paypal. I figure this is to look through her records to confirm what I commissioned. Instead she gives me a refund, which I DID NOT ASK FOR. You may think I would be happy with a refund, but I did not ask for this. I want what I've been waiting for all these long months, my art. Artist appears to have given up at this point. She states that she was almost done but would rather just refund. February 5th: Artist posts a journal saying she will be responding to everyone soon. When I complain that I only wanted my art, she says she will do a fullbody art piece and says I don't need to send the money back. She says that it is mostly done and just needs to be shaded and she will email it to me asap. February 22nd: I am still waiting and have not recieved any art or response, nor has she posted anything new in her gallery. I'm done with this. I did not want a refund, I just want the art I've been waiting for. Getting money back in my pocket does not satisfy the disappointment I feel for having waited to get adorable art from what I thought was a wonderful artist. I never even received a WIP sketch.
 12. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/658026.html EDIT: I got my designs today, so this can be marked as resolved. c : WHO: Rehmiel WHERE: http://rehmiel.deviantart.com/ WHAT: I ordered a digital art commission of two character designs. I gave the artist a description of what I wanted, and the commission was accepted. I promptly payed for the designs. Here is a screen-cap of the entire transaction. http://i.imgur.com/dXKajc1.png WHEN: I commissioned Rehmiel on July 31st, 2012. I received no contact since then, and have finally decided to contact about my commissions on February 8th. PROOF: Here is the paypal transaction. http://imgur.com/FQm56J7 EXPLAIN: I commissioned Rehmiel for the designs on July 31st, 2012. I also payed on this date. Several months passed and I never heard from Rehmiel concerning my commission. Rehmiel mentioned to some potential customers that they were a little backed up on commissions, so I figured that maybe they simply had a lot of commissions and that it'd take a while before they got to mine. I continued to wait. On February 8th, I noticed that they uploaded a design for sale. By that time, I was no longer interested in the designs, because it'd been so long. I decided that I would send a note asking about a possible refund, or at least status on my commission. http://gyazo.com/51e82b96c7e00749ecdb9a24229563b5 My note was quickly read, but was not replied to. I waited a week before sending another note. http://gyazo.com/fb0ce38cf5a644784ee3975dc8584ca7 (I accidentally put June instead of July.. That was a mistake on my part.) The note went unread. Since then, I have not been able to get in contact with Rehmiel. I would add more screencaps of communication, but the thing is, there wasn't any. I was never contacted once after I sent the payment. I recently found that the artist has been active on Tumblr, including uploading personal art. I'm unsure why my notes have not been read or replied to. But I would really love to resolve this and find a solution that works for both of us. Edit: On March 1st, I was able to get in contact with Rehmiel again after sending an ask on Tumblr. I was informed that my commission would be worked on, and that a refund was not possible. (screen cap: http://gyazo.com/34b534c2670bce397cf412647e3a8d2c ) I replied to the note, but since then, I have received no further contact, and my reply went unread. Will update this with further information if I am contacted again. Hoping to see a resolve soon.
 13. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/654319.html WHO: FlyingFire is her user name WHERE: FurAffinity WHAT: Traditional 2 character Sketch. WHEN: I commissioned her in August. 40.00 for down payment I gave her all the information she needed to get on a rough sketch. Due date was Dec. Granted I've been busy but I've checked on her every now and again but I think I got back to talking about it in Nov or early Dec I told her I was fine with delaying the due date to Jan. She was asking about the final 40.00 which I paid the final on Dec. 9th Update 07/10: please read below. PROOF: *Please Note for your convenience I did copy the notes into font. Please do know that often Flying fire would respond out of order, like I was working top down and her conversation was working bottom up, so kind like the universe expanding opposite directions. Just so you know, so I won't hurt everyone's eyes and brains. ~Thank you*
Any number of those make good ideas! (sorry it took me so long to reply btw! I was gone. :c ) My Paypal is ___ . Add me on Skype and we can chat vocally, and you can even watch the progress as it goes along! -Fire.

Okay, I'm game! ^.^ I remember you from Morphicon! You and your nice owly friend. You were both super nice and it was fun to see you. ^.^ Also, yes. It'd be eighty dollars. Incremental pay is just fine, just so you know. Do you have refs, and also, do you have skype? That way maybe we can talk as I draw things out for you and Arctic. Did you know I know Artic? I'm not sure what happened but we stopped talking a few years ago. Its been a long time, but it'd be great to do something nice for her. (and you too, of course) 🙂 What kind of theme would this be? Or would that be artistic freedom?
Well I want to commission an art piece 2 character of me and my best friend Artic. Now the Deadline would be December since I plan for it to be a birthday gift from me to her. I'm guessing it be around 80.00? I mean I know my character has a lot of details and hers she gets kind of picky. I do know she does have a variety of badges. I think your art would be one she would like. So I tend to like feral/quad, and her most recent reference is of a quad/feral Artic. If your interested in drawing please let me know. I can pay half now and then the other half when I get rough sketch/regular drawing approved. Since I know that be easiest way for me to pay since it is a lot of money and I don't want a birthday gift to be finished before I can approve of the drawing done. This is a piece I hope you have plenty of time to work on at your own pace. I'm hoping December is a far enough time away.

That be great, my user name for Skype not like caps matter. I sure do, have references. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/7782892/ I need to re do it since the tail is off. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5257642/ this is how the last band is suppose to be its wraps around to the bottom but it doesn't connect underneath. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6448079/ Like this explains the details best its just outdated as far as the tail and the fact everyone who goes by this gets the stripes wrong because its good way to map where the stripes are but people have put dots on my stripes and made them very much like connect the dots. But I plan on getting another reference done. I'm just been rather slow about it. ;_; because I'm a busy/lazy cat. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8431740/ Artics most recent info. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8229703/ this is colored something this hopefully will give you and idea of how to shade things. This is her old reference http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1372053/ Its colored too. I think that covers it. I will try to make myself available on Skype. As for ideas,
*SIDE NOTE: Just so you know I had spoke with her and said that reference I provided for the feral would be fine. As for the stripe issue I had a reference that did not work so well because the stripes were in the right position but they made the stripes look funny so I never got people to do my stripes like normal, right position but weird stripes. FlyingFire Aug 19

Well, that was unnecessary, and it would have taken you two extra seconds to send me an actual note instead of a page shout. However, despite your doubts, as quoted here: Give me my money back. You did not provide me my sketch days, weeks, over a month of saying your weak excuses. You stole money from me, by not providing the service you agreed to. heres your sketch. As I said before, its done and has been done for awhile. I had to deal with that thing called real life, taking my cat to the vet to make sure she didn't have cancer amongst them, so yeah, I was preoccupied. This is partially why I forgot to link you your art, but you should Never send a note to someone, or a shout, when your that irrational. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_75698d75af_z.jpg You can have this until I receive an apology for such rash words, whereupon I'll send you the full re-res image.
I'm not being irrational, you are horrifically late. Honestly I've given you over a week to get to me on this. You had not taken the extra 2 to 3 seconds to link me this information. I am not apologizing to you. I told you I'd like to have some pre-sketch for me to confirm at least progress and maybe throw in my 2 cents. Regardless of you circumstances you have been absolutely poor at communicating properly. Now I told you I need to have proof by last Sunday at least...I have not seen anything until I've given you this shout. When a time is set I expect something to be done, or at least a note back to say as to why there is a delay. Frankly I've been waiting on some proof that you've done anything, So it is not irrational for me to suspect you are not true to your words as we've had this discussion before. I've been dealing with a thing called life like everybody else. I have 2 jobs, and I work to pay off my condo/townhouse. I know a lot about due dates, with college and bills and if something comes up I try to work something out but you expect me to pay for sketch and then I don't see anything for like a month? I wonder who sounds like they are being irrational now? You know I have bad days but at least I communicate with my boss and those who need to know and let them know if something will be delayed.
I'm sure you understand that there's a lot of difference between being busy personally, and busy with business, and I was busy with both. I can understand your business just fine, but you need to know remember that there is a difference. Also, you paid the fourty as a half payment. Thats why I hadn't started. My policy is generally to get full payment and then begin. Irregardless to this roundabout we seem to be having, is this sketch to your liking, or is it not? Let me know when you have a minute to sit back and look at whats been done. Here is the large file. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8383/8452908686_f79f42a2c7_k.jpg
*Side note: I was up late that night and had not slept so well this last week. Which that and also having someone say I'm being irrational started what some furries call "Tiny Tora Rage." Which may I say that all my anger is pretty legit, maybe a little fluffed...but I am the person to burn bridges if I find that it leads me to no where I want to be. She had mentioned her cat for the first time to me, I know I saw something posted in her journal 2 months prior, so granted I know people can have emotional issues...but I feel if that is the case it is the artist's obligation to mention that they will need some time out. I can't take in consideration for something I do not know of, all she had mentioned prior is she was busy. Which is what I had been hearing for some time. FlyingFire Feb 7th(2) Now for the Cherry on top the art I've been waiting for b/c after I yelled at her on her wall...I got this. Artic_Tora_flyingfire Also, the sprinkles on top would be that she and posted this on FA saying Artic and I are Mates. Which I do understand where someone might get that, but I had told her beforehand that we were best friends. We have matching icons, we are giving each other a head bump, not kisses. So even though some people think we are a couple, unfortunately that is not the case, we just joke about it profusely. In reality we both are pretty heterosexual, even though I'm bi-sexual, I do have a boyfriend. I Do Apologize for any confusion on this matter. I know I've not disclaimed my status of relationship to others. EXPLAIN: I may have not stayed on track with this artist through every step but honestly I think more artist prefer people not to get with them on daily basis. I did remind them in a journal prior which I think that is when they brought up the 40.00 final that was in Nov. I still feel if you did not provide any proof of art done you are stealing from the buyer. This person is on the same level of scam artist as far as I'm concerned. Updated Feb. 10th, 2013 Flying Fire got back to me shortly after the shout I mad on her FA account. Basically I was angry she had not provided and I had figured some public attention would get her attention and maybe create some results, which it did. I have provided proof of 95% of our conversations. I feel the other 5% is non-important as it doesn't really say much. I've not replied back to her as frankly I don't feel this art is really worth 80.00 but with her cat going to the vet. I really doubt I will get the 40 back.

The initial response was very swift, and payment was done the next day after going over some details, months passed and the promised updates and progress never came, I didn't mind at the time, I had waited long for commissions before and kept reminding myself that he was a popular artist, who likely had a very long queue, and decided to be patient, but by October, having no word of him, I decided to send the first email, to which I obtained no response, so I sent a follow up note on November, to which he replied he didn't receive the email or must have missed it and promised to show me progress on my picture the very next day, nothing came, finally, by December, I was both tired of this and in need of some money for a trip in January, so I asked for either a partial or full refund, no response, I forwarded the note again upon seeing him being active on FA on the 1st of January, no response, despite being active in FA further. Despite him being friendly through this, 100 dollars is no small amount of money, and it's been more than 9 months without seeing any indication that he has even STARTED, and I, quite frankle feel rather insulted at his negligence, since this is after all, a transaction. At this point, I don't want the picture anymore since I have seen how seriously he takes his commissions, I'm done being friendly, and wish my refund so I can get this over with. UPDATE: I have managed to get in contact with him on Skype, he's promised to refund me as soon as possible, aka, as soon as some payments to him come in, so far he's been reasonably helpful, but considering his track record for promising things, I'd rather not get my hopes up until the money is in my account. UPDATE: He has now refunded my money in full, I would like this matter to be considered resolved please. Proof: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23308137/paymentproof.png

She agreed to a badge trade and I asked her to draw my character Sysko (previously known as Rensis). I was really excited, so I did my half and posted it right away (seen here with timestamp). She said she liked it and then I began the wait. I sent a quick email in 2008 (seen here) and in 2009 (seen here). Neither were answered. Recently I saw she was on FA and taking commissions so I asked her if she could do my badge in between the sketches. She responded as if she had never agreed to the trade (seen here). Unfortunately I don't have the aim conversations anymore as they happened over 5 years ago, so all I have is the screencaps and my word. I didn't think there was anywhere else to go with this but here, since it looks like a lost cause. 😕 Update 02/07/13 After making this post, Roux responded to my comment linking her half (here). This would have resolved the whole thing, if not for this description (here), which a day or two later became this description (here). The entire rant is misguided, reading more like her playing the victim than it does justice to her aim of being diplomatic. She never expressed these feelings to me, she just stopped talking to me altogether. I feel like she had plenty o opportunity o work this out with me, instead of ignoring my attempts at contact. I am a lot of things, but unsympathetic is not one of them. If she had maturely explained the way she felt in private, I would have certainl apologized ecause I never meant to make her feel that way Despite the rant, I wanted to leave a 'thank you' but I found I was blocked (here). I'm disappointed that instead of emailing me her half and explaining how she felt, the ordeal ended like this.

PROOF: Payment: http://sta.sh/015fmnv6xpi8 Confirmation of Payment received by artist: http://sta.sh/0250y8xrzh0m EXPLAIN: I first ordered the commission and they told me to wait as they were travelling but they would get it to me soon. I have commissioned hundreds of artwork and so I know that these things take time. So I did not think anything of it for the first couple of months. By the fifth month I started to get nervous so I noted him and asked him if he had any updates for me. Another month went by and I got really nervous. This was six months at this point. That to me is a completely unacceptable wait time with no correspondence from their side. So I noted him (December 19th, 2012) and that note (to this day) is unread. http://sta.sh/01cdlkl8n2pd I then sent a personal email to the artist on January 2nd asking them if they had any updates for me and I even included our correspondence via DA. I told them that I was very uncomfortable with the situation as he had not replied to me and he was not uploading anything new on DA. I then asked for a refund. (This email to this day is not replied to) http://sta.sh/026ybvl2jei6 I again noted them on DeviantART on January 7th, 2013 telling him that this was my third time at attempting to get in touch with him. I directly asked for a refund. (This note is till showing unread) http://sta.sh/0143o1socsjl At this point I was growing very annoyed because his profile status on DA was showing that he was LOGGING into DeviantART yet not replying or even reading my notes. So I took the conversation to his front profile. I left a comment stating that I had attempted to contact him via Note and Email and had yet to receive a response. I asked for a refund. (This comment is not responded to) http://sta.sh/01teukbebxq0 On January 14th, 2013 I took this to Paypal and sent him a money request. In the request I stated that I wanted my refund for my commission and that I have been trying to contact him regarding this manner. I had hoped this would grab his attention. http://sta.sh/0ud93ie3czd As of yesterday (1/29/2013) I put a comment inside of his DA journal stating that I was very unhappy with his communication and that it was completely unprofessional on how he was handling these matters when I can clearly see that he is on DA. I told him to give me an update on my artwork or send me a refund or I would call him out stating that he was an art thief. And I would inform his latter commissioners to not pay him as they would never get their art. http://sta.sh/019qp81cas5c Today (1/30/2013) I sent him an email letting him know that I have made a complaint with Paypal for his actions, and if he got enough complaints Paypal would limit his account. http://sta.sh/01156ktki2g5 I hope that he will at least give us the artwork he promised to me and all the others that are on his list or at least send us our money back! Today (11/12/2013) I was notified by another deviant that he was online 3 days ago (11/09/2013) He has not read any of my notes, nor replied to any of my emails. This artist is a fraud! He has stolen my money and has no intentions of finishing his work that people have paid for! He has not updated his account, nor has he posted any new artwork! He's a scam! Do not order art from him! Today (11/22/2013) I have logged onto DeviantART only to find that he has deactivated his account! This artist is clearly a fraud and I have emailed him and send paypal money requests and he still has not replied to anything! Be cautious if you see anyone with his familiar artwork posting anywhere! He's a fake! And a money thief!

For a time I was following them on tumblr, but unfollowed shortly after because they made too many personal posts, and I really just wanted to see their art. I did not unfollow them on FA though , and am in fact still watching them. I had also bookmarked their art tag on tumblr, so I could see anything they did not post to FA. Maybe when they saw I had unfollowed them they went about unwatching me everywhere, I cannot sa Anyways, I can't tell if in their response to my note on tumblr they are genuinely confused or not. Again, they had opened my first note before this so I think they are trying to cover themselves. They also proceeded to make THREE very passive-aggressive posts about me on their tumblr: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post1.png https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post2.png https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Post3.png Which were deleted by the next day. Now I was willing to let them go, again all I wanted was a simple reason, maybe even an apology. But this is just childish and rude. In my next note I tried to clear things up and explain what A_B was https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B%20Post/Final%20Note.png And then they sent me a second response that seems more genuine. I will excuse anyone who is having medical problems of course, a person's health must come first. However, I think that in all this time they could have at least contacted me and informed me that they were unable to finish their half. It is not my responsibility to keep tabs on another person's personal life. Not to mention they have been making plenty of personal art. That is why I waited to contact them until now, I figured one day I'd log in and it would be in my inbox. I don't think they ever got around to doing any of the art they owed though, and after awhile I realized that it wasn't going to happen and that's how all of this came about. I don't really want anything from them now, it's too little too late. But this will serve as a warning in case they ever do decide to open for trades or commissions again. Update 1: Deerknight contacted me last night, they sent me two messages: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/Screencap Deerknight.png I sent them this in response (I answered privately so I was unable to screenshot it, though I also sent the message to a mod): All I wanted was for you to take the initiative to contact me and tell me whether you would do it or not. I should not have had to track you down, and I didn't deserve the response you gave me when I finally did find you. But you were rude, and you were sneaky, and I think you were just hoping I'd forget about it. I really would have let this go if you hadn't thrown a tantrum on your tumblr, but it's too late now. I can't remove the post from A_B because it's against the rules, but if you do your half I can get it marked as resolved. I like your style a lot, I enjoy your art, and I was really looking forward to getting a piece from you! But if not, let's just go our separate ways. Update 2: Deerknight sent me a followup message: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27734475/A_B Post/deerknightscreen2.png I sent them a link to my Character Hub which has several references and the following message: (Again, I answered privately so I was unable to screenshot it) And listen, I'm sorry that this escalated the way it did. I will mark it resolved when you send me the piece, and if you post it to tumblr I'll be sure to recommend to all of my followers that they go take a look at your art. You are really very talented! I look forward to seeing what you come up with~ Update 3: Deerknight has sent me their piece in a VERY timely manner and it's lovely http://deerknight.tumblr.com/post/42403878669/my-part-of-the-art-trade-with-dealgen-im-sorry Consider this resolved!

On both her commission website http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/WeekCompletion_zps0ba1e527.png ) and the submission I saw on FA http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/DeccoBallSubmission_zps8835e900.png ) she said that the decco ball commissions would take approximately one week, but I was expecting it to take a little bit longer as she said when I was working out the details with her. Over the next few months, I saw a lot of free and personal art going up on her FA with few commissioned pieces being uploaded. I was aware that she took a brief hiatus from October 24th to November 4th, and waited a while longer before contacting her about my commission. On December 9th I contacted her about a refund http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/5_zpsbdf0155e.png ). It went read but un-responded to for a few days, so I sent her another note on the 22nd http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/6_zpsb91713ba.png ). I got a reply back saying that she had already started my commission and didn't offer refunds once the commission was started. She also said she was working on other commissions and gifts, but would rush to have it completed by Monday (Christmas Eve) and have it sent off Tuesday (Christmas). She offered to refund the shipping cost, and I asked for pictures of the progress on my commission since she couldn't refund http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/7edit_zpsca60a273.jpg ). On the 23rd, since my note was read but I hadn't seen any of the progress she said she had, I sent her another note http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/8_zps3aae39b9.png ). Shortly after sending her that note, I received the refund for shipping http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/ShippingRefund_zps52e8f933.png ). I know paypal is pretty close to instant with sending money, but I figured this one just had some sort of a hold up. A few hours after that, I got a reply http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/9_zpse269d75d.png ) saying that I should have realized that two months in her queue wasn't a long wait, and that she had things to do before me. I knew it was the holidays, and didn't really appreciate the comment about me being able to imagine her beig busy, but my notes had a constant delay being replied to after being read (as well as the weird paypal timing) and I had contacted her at what I thought was a reasonable amount of time before them. She said the refund for shipping was a partial refund, but it was exactly what was stated in the commission posting as being the shipping cost. As for her queue, I had been watching her commission progress list and hadn't seen my commission get marked as started, which is why I asked for a refund http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/ComissionProgressList_zpsa359c380.png ). At that point I lost interest in the commission entirely, and asked for a refund for the work she hadn't done. After I sent that message, she decided to post the work she had done on my commission, a few little sketches on 3/4 inch pieces of paper http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/ComissionProgress_zps9111d450.png ). Once I saw the work she said she had already completed that was preventing me from getting a refund, I once again asked to be refunded since I had no interest in having it rushed and was tired of waiting http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/10_zpse959a7e0.png ). After that, she sent me a partial refund http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/PartialRefund_zps1bc940f7.png ) said, "find, here's a refund" and that was that http://i1182.photobucket.com/albums/x450/marmalade0997/thelittlehuskee/11_zpsf60cc52d.png ). I did end up with a 50% refund on what I had paid, but I feel like two small rushed sketches weren't nearly worth the $8 I ended up paying for them. Even though the artist warned me that the decco ball might take a bit longer, she said in multiple places that they would take a week. I feel like almost three months is a long wait for a commisison that was advertised as taking a week to complete. My question is, was I unreasonable to contact the artist a week before the holidays about a refund and expect notes to not go un-replied to, and was I being overly suspicious about the long delay in seeing proof of progress that she said she had?
 19. original: https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/647289.html WHO: Mutant-serpentina/Arody (On FA) http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/mutant-serpentina/ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/arody/ http://mutantserp.tumblr.com/ WHERE: This Happened exclusively on FA except for one (unanswered) email I sent to her. WHAT: Digital color piece. 20$. screen shot of original conversation. Confusing to eye but otherwise all present. http://oi46.tinypic.com/25slt1j.jpg WHEN: Original transaction occurred on August 19th. Paid in full. PROOF: http://oi45.tinypic.com/etd2tl.jpg Copy of Paypal receipt to [email protected]. This email is listed publicly on her page. I also tried to contact her through this email. EXPLAIN: The commission started out great. She posted a journal that she was in need of some funds. So I responded telling her I could help her out. I ordered a flat color piece for 20$, The link is in the "WHAT" category of this submission. She was very responsive that day and the WIP was actually received the day of purchase (August 19th) Unfortunately, she didn't quite capture what I had in mind, and I offered to repay her for the new sketch and continue, but she was very professional and quickly drew me up a new one. (http://oi46.tinypic.com/1zxs57q.jpg That conversation is here) The New sketch. (HERE ***NSFW** http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee90/krimzon_wolf/macropaws.jpg) was more or less what I was looking for, On August 20th she told me she would fix one tiny thing I wanted altered and then "finish it off" that's the last time she responded to me on the account "Mutant-Serpentina" I noted her About a month later for some updates. Unanswered (the next part of documented unanswered notes here http://oi48.tinypic.com/aw9l0.jpg) Over a month after that. No Answer. At this point I was ready to put it off as a loss. I also tried emailing her and responding to her tumblr. Both Went unanswered. I really don't understand tumblr so I might have done it wrong? Around the end of November I noticed a piece of art on the homepage, the account name "Arody" which is the same as her first name on Paypal. Her Hotmail for commissions is also located on this page. I noted her with the question "did you move accounts" she responded with (http://oi45.tinypic.com/2quu6gx.jpg) In Which I responded with a firm note explaining how unfair to her commissioners it is that she switch accounts without informing any of them. which went unread. I find this in EXTREMELY bad taste and a pure lack of any responsibility on her behalf, continuing to post personal images without responding to anything on her main account. I have not heard back from her since November 30th and have noted her 3 times since then, All of which unanswered. Also upon examining her page. I noticed others have been posting on her wall asking about the status of their orders. Recently every note on her page has been sponged, including all the notes exclaiming her "absence" one in particular by what I assume to be a friend of hers said something along the lines of "Some people just don't understand that you don't have access to internet serp" In which was BEFORE she had continued to post on another account. In Reply to such, even IF she didn't have access to internet. I'm paying her for a service, there are many free ways to access the internet to reply with a note exclaiming her lack of such.. She also doesn't need internet to finish a piece of artwork. Also as a side note on on this journal, someone has asked for a paypal refund and has to this day gone unchecked http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3694248/. As of this moment I have NOT asked for a refund. Because I would still like the artwork finished. I find Mutant-serpentina/Arody's actions to be completely inexcusable and completely irresponsible for an artist. There's no excuse for not reading or answering notes and not replying to emails from a paid commissioner. Note to Artist: I would prefer to have the commission completed as to the fact I much enjoyed the sketch, but a complete refund will suffice. Feel free to note me on my FA account "Jhusky" or email me at [email protected]. I expect to hear from you VERY soon. -Jhusky
 20. I first met Cyberwolfdragon on Discord, in the USF server. There is a #looking-for-corner channel where people can post if they wanted to do an art trade, had an art request, were offering free art, etc. When looking through the channel, I found Cyberwolfdragon's latest message asking to do an art trade, and it was marked as open. I then DMed them asking if they wanted to do a trade. After this they didn't message me for around two months, until they sent this: (This was a different character than their initial art trade request, but that was fine) I finished my side of the trade in around 10 days. This was the last time Cyber messaged me on Discord I proceeded to remind them every so often of the trade they owed me.. with no response. I will note here that I did use an artwork as a reference for the pose of my side of the trade. I don't have it saved so I can't show it, but Cyber didn't mention this at any point as a reason for declining the trade or something. Cyber posted several messages in USF after the last message they sent me: one for open comms, and three offering a suit they had for sale. This is the only server I have in common with them. (a day after their last message to me) Several days after their last message, but before I reached out about it. After I messaged them twice with no response. After another new message from me, and their last message in USF. After almost a year of this, I searched up their username and found some of their other accounts, including their YouTube. Their email was linked in the contact section, so I attempted to reach out via that. They responded in a bit over an hour. (the blacked out line under my email is a send certificate that has contact info of theirs) I recopied the image from my original Discord DM with it. I opened it in a new window to preserve the quality. At this point, they began to ghost me again. I attempted to reach out to them through other social medias. Their Twitter DMs are off, so I have sent a message to what is presumably their DeviantArt account since it has the same username, though the 5 arts and fursuit images I don't remember seeing on other platforms. At this point my art has gotten a fair bit better, and I do draw original poses now or base them off of pictures of myself, but I just want my side of the art trade back, it's been a year.
 21. October 06 2021: Contacted them, inquiring about commissions. They sent me a WIP shortly after we discussed ocs. October 7 2021: Paid for the commission. October 27 2021: Was sent another WIP. December 10 2021- January 5 2022: They had briefly ghosted me here, before claiming my dms got hidden and they hadnt seen them, conveniently replying on the exact day I threatened a refund. They sent a wip a few hours later. Febuary 8 2022: Reached out for a update, was told they were busy working on a bday animation and a presentation. March 3 2022- Current Time: Theyve completely ghosted me, and have blocked me on discord. May 9 2022: Realized i was blocked on discord, reached out to them on instagram asking for a refund and was blocked there too. May 10 2022: I've reached out to my bank and asked for a chargeback since its been too long to do one through paypal. Waiting for my banks response. UPDATE: 5/17/2022 The artist has responded to the client via instagram regarding the outstanding commission.
 22. June 21, 2021: First sent message to Xoloitz via Telegram, inquiring for a commission. June 22, 2021: Details sent to Xoloitz for a three character commission: two of my characters and a character belonging to a friend. After a lewd comment on the size of my friend's character's junk, Xoloitz quotes a price of $160 shaded or $120 flat colors, and I approve the former. Payment of $160 USD is sent via PayPal that same day. (Note: NSFW content censored.) November 12, 2021: Xoloitz opens for commissions again. December 12, 2021: First inquiry to Xoloitz over Telegram regarding status of commission. Xoloitz claims to have forgotten about it and promises to get on it ASAP. January 23, 2022: Second inquiry via Telegram about commission status. No response. February 9, 2022: Third inquiry via Telegram. No response at the time. February 11, 2022: Inquiry via Twitter DM. No response. February 19, 2022: Inquiry via FurAffinity DM. no response. February 23, 2022: Xoloitz finally responds to February 9 Telegram inquiry, stating to have been in a car accident. February 24, 2022: Xoloitz sends a WIP. I ask twice for the characters' sizes to be changed and Xoloitz complies. (NSFW content censored in screen shots.) (Note: The comment "could it be possible to remove the comments on FA since we are already working on your commission?" refers to a comment my friend made on Xoloitz' FA regarding the status of the commission; however, I was unable to screencap this comment before it got deleted.) February 25, 2022: Xoloitz opens for commissions again. March 21, 2022: Message sent to Xoloitz over Telegram, asking for the commission to be finished or refunded within two weeks. No response. March 22, 2022: Same message as prior day. No response. April 5, 2022: Two-week time limit established on March 21 expired. No response. April 29, 2022: Yet another inquiry via FurAffinity DM. No response. I will consider this resolved when Xoloitz refunds me the full $160 price.

 24. Short Version/Timeline: I ordered two chibi headshot sketches from Funbelle (now Sorbuns) on Toyhou.se. It has now been over a year since my original order and I have not received any work from them. They appear to have abandoned all socials. Ordered placed and confirmed on 3/10/21. 25. Original Agreement + Proof: I was contacted by Mechogama through my FA notes on Oct. 11, 2021 with an offer to draw two individual pieces of my horse sona for a total price of $300, fully colored with background. After a cursory investigation there was an art trail showing that despite the out-of-the-blue solicitation the artist did have a track record of delivering and agreed to the proposition and we exchanged Discord contacts. Fig 1.0: Initial message over Furaffinity Fig. 2.0: Initial Discord message to establish continuity of account “HACKED” being Cleam/Mechogama the name had been CLEAM as of initial conversation but latter events lead to a name change and new account. After establishing that we were who we said we were we got down to brass tax. My quote for the work would be: 2 Pieces @ $150 ea. - Fully Colored - Background Included - Multi-Character with central focus on my horse Fig. 2.1: Reiteration of agreement, addition of update schedule and providing an EOD sketch. Fig. 2.2: Transactional Proof Things proceed apace in payment but the end of day sketch and the 2 day update schedule do not come. Fig. 3.0: Sudden request for more money under false pretenses A request for $50 instead arrives in confusing format with me initially mistaking it as an attempt to be upcharged. No work has been completed thus far and I let the artist know my qualms with the sudden request. It has been about a week and a half since our initial conversation and I approach Mechogama about our agreement. Fig 4.0: CLEAM as shown in cap is original avatar and name of account as can be seen in Fig. 2.1. I am told that I will receive an update when he returns home. While I do not receive said sketch at the end of the day, I do receive initial sketches 4 days afterward. Fig. 4.1: Initial sketches arrive By this point I believe the artist is just pre-occupied and am willing to acquiesce to the slight delays. I do not hear from Mechogama again until Nov. 11 2021. Fig. 4.2: Mechogama let’s me know that he is still aware of my commission. Fig. 4.3: Mechogama contacts me again about alleged technical issues with his computer and a timeline for repair + compensation for the trouble. We would discuss some specifics of the commission again on 12/04/2021 and I would hear from him one last time on 12/25/2021 before radio silence on that account. Fig. 4.4: Offer for more pictures, details on an after-pic, no agreement on paying for after-images but semi-regular communication seemed apparent. Fig 4.5: Last message received from the original CLEAM account before allegations of being hacked would appear nearly a month later in Mechogama’s first Discord chat: “The Dirty Paw”. Fig. 5.0: Mechogama alerts his server that his account has been hacked. It has been one month since I have heard from him. The details of the hack are slightly suspicious but seems to be standard Discord phishing. The account in question was never deleted but the alleged hacker had since deleted their's. Fig. 5.1: Supporting evidence of the hack, names have been removed aside from mine for the server-wide alert. Server effectively dies. By this point I had not been aware of the hack as I had been busy with my courses, however after another month I would contact Mechogama through FA after having seen no attempt to get back in touch with commissioners or announcement from any other source of information. I had discovered that this alleged hack occurred while trying to get a hold of Mechogama about my commission. Fig. 5.2: I messaged Mechogama on FA and he promptly responded to me. This is the first time I’ve spoken with him since Dec. 25, 2021. I join the Discord to find it hosting some people but far less lively than before, there is evidence of some activity and posts. This allows me access to Mechogama’s new iteration of CLEAM to continue trying to find a resolution to this commission issue. Fig. 5.3: My attempt over the last half a month to get information and this apparent ‘update’ on my commission. I had messaged CLEAM at various hours to get his attention, and it is obvious that he had been avoiding responding. At this point I had decided that this commission was never going to see the light of day and that I wanted a refund. Due to Mechogama refusing to answer my DM directly, even while online in “League of Legends” as his account status showed, I posted an @CLEAM into his new Discord: “Furry4Ever” to get his attention, the contents including the information on his avoidance of me. He promptly deleted the message in the public Discord and finally responded to me in DM. Fig. 5.4: After my notice in his Discord server, Cleam/Mechogama finally deigns it appropriate to respond to me and promptly removes me from his Discord group. Finally, after months of silence, I am granted my audience and he agrees to refund me. As of the time of this Artist Beware I am awaiting confirmation from Paypal that my refund has been processed, however I am not convinced that it will not be forced into claim status. Mechogama immediately went back to play League of Legends after the outburst at the end and no update on my refund through Paypal has been shown nor has he responded to my question regarding if he has even seen the refund request. Fig. 5.5: Outlandish response to request for refund, I inform Mechogama that the refund request has been sent and receive no indication from him that he has even so much as looked at it. Mechogama has been an unreliable and unprofessional artist at best, and outright attempting to con a client at worse. Reasonable attempts to rectify a situation and patience shown considering circumstance were disregarded and the attitude towards myself as a client and commissioner was dismissive. If you are expecting regular communique, timely updates, or for the original agreements of your commission terms to be met you should look elsewhere.
