  1. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/983469.html who: Tobeabird/Cynical Sergal/Wayward Fox/Otter Nonsense Where: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/tobeabird/ and https://www.furaffinity.net/user/otter.nonsense What: Feline Foam Cut headbase mounted on a balaclava ($120) and One Fullbody commission ($30) When: I commissioned the base on Sept. 12, 2015 and the art on July 25, 2017 Explain: I initially commissioned Tobeabird when they needed help and opened for fursuit foam base commissions. The journal is long since gone, but we agreed to one of their foam feline head bases, cut and mounted on a balaclava. This was $120 and was paid immediately (they were wayward Fox creations/Cynical Sergal at this point) (1). The transaction was completed on Sept. 12, 2015 I was told multiple times (2)(3) that my base was going to be shipped on within the week of the message. The first time (screenshot 2) I was told I’d have a tracking number, and then wasn’t contacted again about it. The second time (that I could find searching through years of FA notes anyway) I was told that they had contracted a fever and wasn’t able to ship it (4). They even forgot what I was owed, this happened multiple times (5). I eventually stopped pressing them, a mistake on my part, but I believed I was helping a friend and this friend constantly posted journals about how they were financially in a bind or losing their home or in need of medication. I didn’t want to add to their troubles with bothering them over my product. I was too nice and it backfired. FWA 2016 (March 31-April 3, 2016) came around and I roomed with them. They had a bunch of foam bases, including the feline ones, casted for their dealers den table for the convention that year. I asked if one of the bases was for my commission, and they told me that they hadn’t cut any of them and that none of them were for me. This irritated me because these people had paid long after I did, but were going to receive their product first. They couldn’t have cut one before casting the rest considering I was a paying commissioner who had yet to receive a product promised to be to him within the week? There was one point where I asked them if they would rather just refund me instead of casting the base since it seemed like they couldn’t get to the post to ship and they had a bunch of other problems they were posting about. They agreed, but then this was later rescinded due to their financial troubles and me asking if it’d be easier for them to just go ahead and cast it. They agreed. There was plans to attend Megaplex 2017 together that ended up falling through. They had planned on getting me the base (as per their claims) but as we both ended up not being able to attend, that didn’t happen. (6) On July 24, Tobeabird was having a bit of financial issues and was hoping to be commissioned so I took them up on that offer. I asked for a fullbody anthro work of my character Riot and gave them a ref sheet (7). I then paid after a day as I was having some issues with my paypal and they received full payment on July 25, 2017 (8)(9). On October 27, 2017 I asked about an update for my art commission and was told there was an update on FA. There was another delay in getting art posted on a journal (10). November 11, 2017 I get a message on Telegram from Tobeabird asking if I’d like a refund for the art and the base. I agreed and was told I would be put on the refund list (11)(12)(13) (the last one is cut that way because the conversation was asking about personal issues) January 15, I wrote a series of tweets on my vent account stating that I felt taken advantage of and felt that I was no longer going to commission friends due to being treated poorly by a couple who didn’t handle the transaction properly. Tobeabird contacted me on Telegram to ask if the messages were about them. I told them that they fit into the messages but I was talking about a couple people. They proceeded to get bent about the fact I said they’d taken advantage of me and then guilt tripped me for even speaking about it. They kept saying that they’d hoped I’d be a patient friend, and at that point, I was pretty much done with the whole thing. I told them I’d be expecting a reasonable amount of time with the refund. Eventually the argument got to a point where I was irritated with them acting like I was the bad guy for being upset and ending the conversations because they couldn’t handle that. I was then told that Telegram was for friendly chat and to stop contacting them there and only through email. I agreed to this and when I posted another tweet, they found it necessary to then contact me arguing more about the fact I believe they took advantage. I told them to leave it to email and they claimed they didn't’ have it. I told them to wait for my message but then ended up getting them emailing me anyway and then attempting to contact me on twitter as well backing up the email. They have sent me $30 ( 2/7/18) and claim it’s for the base (when they could just clear off the art). They are treating this whole thing as two separate occurrences. The base from otter nonsense, and the art from them. But as they are the owner of the otter nonsense account and since their business practices aren’t different between the two entities, I am treating this as ONE refund from ONE person rather than a person and their business. I’m still receiving the money from Tobeabird in both instances so I’m not sure what the deal is with that. (14) Update: 2/8/18 They have sent another couple refunds totalling $60 (15) for a total of $90 refunded (16) meaning the art commission has been taken care of and the base is halfway refunded at this point. Update 2: 2/8/18 Final amount ($60) has been sent. This matter is resolved. (17) Proof: 1. Fursuit Head Base Payment - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PAyeUxV7OKno9lrGn5PsowR3zvSbxT2j 2. Things started off good at first, but got a bit slower though at the time I really didn’t mind being as that can happen with any artist. I eventually got a sketch which I was good with and was not just waiting for it to be inked. After a while I messaged him about the inked version and was took it would be done soon and that there were people ahead of me. No biggie. Fast forward to about the middle of May. The artist has not uploaded anything, contacted me or anything for that time. Will when he does finally come back in late May he goes on about not having internet, yet when you look at his facebook link on his page you can see he had been updating his profile picture. Yet he wasn’t able to post a journal updating the people who paid him. Never received a word back about my commission after the sketch. And there still isn’t one finished commission on his whole page unless you count his personal art.
  3. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/811861.html WHO: Nayel-ie, Nayelfox WHERE: FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/nayel-ie/ Due to Nayel-ie requesting to the mods that all other links should be removed, I have removed them. You can still find her on DA, Weasyl, FB, Tumblr, Instagram, and with her TOS Homepage on Wordpress. You should be able to guess her username 😃 WHAT: Digital Drawing of my OC, later changed to Digital Drawing of Krystal from Star Fox WHEN: Initial contact was on December, 31st 2013. Payment was completed on the same day. Contacted her about the commission at 23.01.2014, 03.02.2014, 21.03.2014, 07-12.05.2014, 14-20.11.2014, 21.11.2014, 08.12.2014 EXPLAIN: Commissioned a digital drawing of my OC on Dec, 31st 2013 when she told during her stream that she needed quick money for some medical bills. I later changed that commission, with her consent, to "draw whatever you like" since she posted that she never had time to draw stuff she likes, because she is always occupied with commissions. She then started drawing Krystal from Star Fox during one of her streams crediting it to me. She never finished that drawing and when I asked about it she always told me that it would be continued shortly. In my latest inquiry I only get very short, unprofessional and quite rough answers that she will do it when she has done the newly-accepted commissions. She, however, has no problem with accepting discounted commissions with the promise of "tonight completion". I had commissioned her before and got time image completed in a very timely manner (if I remember correctly it was below a week, which is very fast), hence I didn't think that it would take THIS long... PROOF: Since I'm not a huge fan of posting several images, I will post you the links with a small explanation. All images are SFW! 31.12.2013: First contact. I wrote her the note after I had watched her stream and saw that she needed money. I would have donated it at this point, but since I don't like the concept of a donation very much I asked for a commission. This includes the PayPal address (censored) and payment details. http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6291/ErXrK4.jpg (Censored) PayPal payment details for the transaction: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/6007/QlPlw3.jpg 23.01.2014: Second contact. I wrote this note after I had read in one of her journals that she had very little time to draw for herself, since she was always occupied with commissions. So I offered that she could use the time she would take for my commission to draw something that she enjoyed. She asked me what I wanted but I thought that would defeat the purpose of the idea. http://imageshack.com/a/img674/8775/er8scm.jpg 03.02.2014: Third contact. This time she wrote me a note when she had an idea that she could draw Krystal from Star Fox. Of course I agreed, and thus the change of my commission was official. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/683/pXwRe9.jpg 21.03.2014: Fourth contact. I wrote her a mail (during this time, her preferred way of contact) after she wrote a journal about all the commissions she still owed. If we didn't see our name on that list we should write her a mail, which i promptly did. http://imageshack.com/a/img912/5250/2AiLOr.jpg 07.05.2014: She then did a journal (again) asking for everyone who she owed commissions to, to write her a mail - she needed this for sorting. A screenshot of said journal is included below: http://imageshack.com/a/img746/5023/opGVke.jpg 07-12.05.2014: Fifth contact. My mail answering her call to the journal above. During this mail I offered to take a different form of compensation for my money (Sketches, Lineart), because I was learning to draw and would have used those as study objects. She refused and reassured me that she was still doing the Krystal picture. http://imageshack.com/a/img908/9935/spVJNi.jpg 14.11.2014: She created two journals selling discounted commissions. One with a promised "tonight completion" turnaround. She even said that she would stream those commissions on her Livestream. http://imageshack.com/a/img537/5365/vUF9c9.jpg 14-20.11.2014: Sixth contact: I noted her about my commission and this time I didn't get a single friendly reply like in the last notes or mails. She seemed very short tempered and busy and didn't answer any of my questions in a manner that I would expect from a professional artist. In between I even asked for some better communication, but this request was simply ignored. http://imageshack.com/a/img673/3372/lwW0Lr.jpg 21.11.2014: Seventh contact: I sent her a note after I spoke with my lawyer about possible legal steps. I've set a deadline to give her enough time to either finish the image, refund me or find a suitable solution. The deadline got extended, since she wasn't at home until 2 weeks later. http://imageshack.com/a/img538/1575/RCT3Ov.jpg 08.12.2014: Eighth contact: I sent her a reminder since she should have already been back from her trip. http://imageshack.com/a/img901/1170/O7lI6S.jpg Well I haven't heard anything after that. Now I think about suing her for fraud, which would be a felony. Sure, it would cost me a lot of money beforehand (would have to hire a lawyer in Canada .. from Germany) but since I can throw all those charges at her I am not very worried about it, especially since I have a legal insurance which would cover those things as well. reading the comments on the other A_B posts about her (http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/807348.html and http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/802050.html) she seems to owe art for multiple thousands of dollars.. however she doesn't have a problem scamming those customers and accepting new commissions or even do free art streams: http://imageshack.com/a/img540/7766/1U0E19.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4571/cT7WqP.jpg PS: As for everyone that she owes commissions to, I can only give the advice to REPORT her to PayPal. You won't get your money back (unless you have purchased physical goods from her), but the more people report fraudulent transactions with her account the more likely it is that they will investigate and/or stop her from using PayPal which would slow her shenanigans down by a huge amount, at least for future commissioners. -> and no, if she would like to issue a refund with PayPal they would gladly allow those transactions, even if they banned her from using it! UPDATE: I had to remove all links to her profiles, except her FA page. Nayel-ie requested this from the mods and I complied. Here are a screencap of her old TOS, since she changed her since. http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4160/YVbr3S.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img538/5366/a0a8pW.jpg Also I received a reply to one of my last notes and she said that she would complete the image in the following days. http://imageshack.com/a/img913/9884/BjG2FC.jpg 2 days later (the day she wanted to give me the image) I watched one of her Livestreams and she showed me (and the other viewers) a progress shot. The image was 80% completed at that time, thus I gave her 2 additional days. Since I didn't hear anything from her after that I sent another note. http://imageshack.com/a/img910/6646/h96zQF.jpg On December, 21st I received a note with a link to the final image (FA Version shown below) which brings this annoying journey to an end. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15279262/ It's sad that you have to threaten an artist with legal action for their own incompetence to stick to a contract. It's also sad that Nayel-ie never apologized for the delay or her attitude. It looks to me like she thinks she's done everything right and has nothing to fear. Well from a legal standpoint that might be correct at least with this case. I just hope that her other customers are just as "lucky" to get their work done as well.. there are far to many out there who have to wait for their art; Art they already have paid for.
  4. I don't like the fact that I'm having to do this, but as I couldn't resolve this in a pacific way with this client, I've decided to make a beware so that other artist don't end up on the same situation as I am right now. Costumer: @lopinhojaneiro ~ https://t.me/lopinhojaneiro (Telegram) Telegram ID: 6328315414 On December's end (most specifically Christmas) he came on Telegram to me asking for a animated icon of my Star Fox YCH. I accepted and started working on it the day after, soon I sent him the sketch for approval. Everything before asking for the payment. (Something that I always do, and that is stated in my ToS that can be found on my art channel @JellyBeansArt). Besides that, the user ignored me without reason for more than a week regarding the payment of 50$ BRL (around 10USD) for the commission, and was incredibly rude when I questioned him about it, who answered me saying that I "Haven't finished it yet so I won't be paying". On my advertisement of that specific YCH I explicitly say that I finish it up to 24h after the payment (I said the same on the conversation with him, but he just ignored saying again that he won't be paying). So if you doesn't wish to fall on this pit, I suggest avoiding this person's fursona. I'll be leaving here links that lead to his fursona's reference sheet and some extra artwork of him. Along with it I'll also leave a video that shows all the conversation (portuguese only) and prints of it on both Brazilian Portuguese (original) and English. Sorry for the poor quality of the english translated images, I took photos of them from my computer screen using my phone to use the Google Translator. The video have good quality.
  5. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/1004871.html I know that a Character Stealing/Abuse post isn't usually the thing to post here, but i think that this have gone beyond too far that it become a requirement for me to post my issue about it WHO: Lil-Maj, qtr1984, Maj2k2, Maj, Maj-Q WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lil-maj https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=1600436 https://twitter.com/maj2k2 https://maj-q.deviantart.com/ https://inkbunny.net/maj WHAT: He has been commissioning pictures involving my character, and claiming ownership of my character as their own, and involving them in NSFW commissions with his Characters, they were posted mainly on Twitter & Pixiv & so far, there is no known if he has commissioned many other artists now, since i didn't see anything other than the ones i saw from pixiv/twitter that was drawn without my consent WHEN: https://imgur.com/a/die0MXg Stolen Character work was posted on 2018 late June I spotted a post on Twitter where the Stolen character was drawn by an artist for the thief, it was also posted on Pixiv by the artist, Solo NSFW, & a NSFW comic involving sexual activities with his other characters I tried to contact the artist & warn them that hey have drawn a stolen character, but they did not understand at first, then said it's not their responsibility (don't blame them since eng isn't their main language, so they probably misunderstood) but for me it's an artist responsibility to stop drawing for the user who is using a stolen character, so i tried to convince them, and they finally understood and promised to stop until problem is solved EXPLAIN: Derrik has been a very long OC of mine for 5 years (before the stealing attempt) & those was the very first submissions i had of him https://www.furaffinity.net/view/9644902/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/12895269/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13491381/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/14008888/ You can clearly see that he has been mine for many years & most of Derrik submissions are on my gallery, just search on FA Strawberry-fox Derrik or Derrik tiger, and i have never for once credit him to anyone other than me, even the artists who drew him have fully credit him to me & no onc else I have also other submission of him which are 4 years while the thief does not have a submission of him from 4 or 5 years ago, only something like 3-2 years & the recent ones he posted to claim the character as his I would like to make it clear here that NOBODY has permission to commission or use the character Derrik without my given permission other than me The thief have previously threatened to use him by force, along with other Characters of mine https://imgur.com/a/T60hMzS & While he was talking to Mutual Friend, he made clear that he would take not only Derrik but other characters that I own by force if need be, even hinting at logging into my account if he could get my details to take them, this was from a year ago, before the stealing attempt happens in 2018, there is more I can add if needed, though it is more personal and less to do with character theft. PROOF: Character Ownership https://imgur.com/a/JsMrGU6 (NSFW included) However After the stolen character artwork of Derrik he commissioned of in 2018 late June were posted, I caught him started editing the description & changed the credits of the character, so he can claim it as his & make it more recognizable as his so that way the stolen character will be officially as his and get away with it, But he forget to update the older submission description of Derrik that's on his gallery which is a pretty shameful behavior https://imgur.com/a/1yVd8Ng (NSFW included) Little Note & Advice for artists: please do not draw anything for him that involve my Ocs, as i am not longer associated with said the thief, I've known them for a while but cut ties & blocked the communication, so i do not wish to stay in contact with them in any way Anyway i advice you to check character source first, especially if it comes from this guy. I appreciate any help/advice provided here Side note: Just to avoid confusion Banto-kun is an abandoned account of mine
  6. https://artists-beware.livejournal.com/977213.html I am willing to have a Civil discussion with this Artist and hope we can reach a solution that we are both happy with. Who: Mithacal Creatures Where: www.mithacal.com Twitter:@mithacal What:Fursuit head, Refund. When: May 24th- Present Proof: Mithacal Creatures Beware https://imgur.com/gallery/ukVAP Explain: On May 24th Mithical and I agreed to a trade: I would shop for clothes for her, and in return for my time I would recieve a Custom Half Mask. (See Screen Shot 1) https://i.imgur.com/q2jv2hg.jpg During my part of the trade I inquired about upgrading to a full mask. She told me $200 worth of clothes since she does not need the money right now. (See screen shot 2) https://i.imgur.com/q2jv2hg.jpg My part of trade took roughly 2 weeks; she recieved her box of goodies and loved them. (See Screen shot 3) https://i.imgur.com/q2jv2hg.jpg For Mitha's part of the trade, she told me the completion time would be 1 month for the half mask. I agreed, and she added another 2 months for a full mask. I agreed to this as well. (see Screenshot one and 6) https://i.imgur.com/q2jv2hg.jpg https://i.imgur.com/mr5jBE5.jpg July: I discussed with Mitha on what my mask design would be. Previously, we agreed on a red fox with Antlers. I gave her the concept design. It was verbally agreed that my mask would have some artistic liberty. Those conversations happened in person during a camping trip we had in Homer. (Enter Screen shot here 4) https://i.imgur.com/mr5jBE5.jpg August 3rd-16th: I started to get worried and asked her for an update, or at least a start date for my mask, and never got an answer. (See Screen Shot 5) https://i.imgur.com/mr5jBE5.jpg Late August: I see on Twitter and instagram that she is open for commissions. Being curious and wanting some sort of response from her I asked on her instagram what her turnaround time is. She responded "your mask would be done before these peoples if thats what you are really asking" (See Screen shot 7) https://i.imgur.com/4dlNEYN.jpg I continued sending her messages asking about the start point of my mask as well as asking if I can get some reassurance from her if I was bothering her, and if she does have a start point in mind for my mask. Not once did I ask her "where is my mask". Each message was a couple of weeks apart. I just needed assurance that I hadn't been forgotten. September hits a couple weeks before Senshi con happens. Senshi con was the con we planned on attending with the mask, and the end time Mitha had told me I would have my mask. I start asking about the fur again wanting to match fur. I still have not received a single response from her. When I finally did, it was her sending me her address because I asked for it so I can send a piece of sample fur to her. She got the sample and told me it was wrong. I asked if she can send a picture of the right fur, but received no response. (Screen shot 😎 https://i.imgur.com/4dlNEYN.jpg Then on september 4th she says she is giving me a refund of the $200 extra I spent on her, due to her wanting to close her buisness. (Screen shot 9) https://i.imgur.com/4dlNEYN.jpg I asked for clarification, wondering if we can work something out, and if she will be compensating me for my time I spent shopping for her rather then spending that valuable time elsewhere. I also offered to take a premade artistic liberty head instead, trying to work something out with her. (Screen Shot 9) https://i.imgur.com/4dlNEYN.jpg I don't get I response from her until I post on one of her Facebook posts agreeing with her that being ignored sucks. (Screen Shot 10) https://i.imgur.com/WehJCAs.jpg She takes offense, telling me she doesn't do buisness stuff when she is away with family, then demands that I give her my mailing address so she can send a check since she no longer does Paypal. (Screen shot 11) https://i.imgur.com/WehJCAs.jpg I comply, and ask yet again for my compensation, as well as explaining that I was upset becuase I had asked for clarification about the refund the very same day she told me I was getting one. (Screen shot 11) https://i.imgur.com/WehJCAs.jpg She gets angry and demands my address again saying she has asked 3 times now. (Screen shot 11) https://i.imgur.com/WehJCAs.jpg Ignoring the fact I have already given it to her, I give it to her again and state that I had already done so. I pointed that fact out. Her response was to request when I write a beware that I don't add her actual number. At the time I told her I don't write bewares. (Screen shot 12 and screen shot 17) https://i.imgur.com/WehJCAs.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MkKptPy.jpg I ask on the September 11th, and again on the 25th, about my refund. No answer to either. September 26th she sends me a message stating she is waiting to recoup the money. Screen shot 13 https://i.imgur.com/bju69X6.jpg October 6th: I ask for her plan of action. Still no refund. October 8th: she sends me a message stating she still doesn't have money plus she accuses me of posting snide comments on her Instagram. My snide remarks consisted of the word interesting and that is it. She tells me it takes time to close a buisness. (Screen shot 14) https://i.imgur.com/bju69X6.jpg I ask for a time frame for my refund. At first she ignores me and says that the reason for my refund is because of how I talk to her. My response. (Screen shot 15) https://i.imgur.com/bju69X6.jpg October 31st: I tell Mitha I need the refund by November 15th, and that waiting 3 months for a refund is unacceptable. No response, but the message is marked as read. (Screen shot 16) https://i.imgur.com/Ua10fx6.jpg November 8th: I get told that my check will be sent shortly and that she will be free to talk to me when business slows down. (Screen shot 16) https://i.imgur.com/Ua10fx6.jpg Thats the last I have heard from her. Edit: I am in contact with the Artist and we are working on a resolution. I will update again when I have more information.

Removing the Shadow @RMFC name he once had. 11/16/2015 – 11/18/2015 - I ask him to tell me what the payment reflects as on his end as I never received a payment canceled or confirmed from paypal. I explain that will not work. I do not hear back from him until the 14th when I confront him for using the art again as an icon after I told him a week ago not to. Says he will have the funds by that coming Tuesday. That day comes and goes and I don’t hear anything. This is when I warn him I will file an Artists Beware https://www.dropbox.com/s/d3u72vfp7g48s8q/16.png?dl=0 1/31/2016 I ask for updates in DMs and I am emailed back, more false promises and stories. I do not reply to him. See previous screen shot. 3/25 I catch him using the art, again (this time I took a screen shot before confronting him via DMs) He tells me his foster mom demanded all his return. I give him one last ultimatum May 1st to pay me or have an Artists Beware written up. I then see all the things I then list below ranging from 3/1-3/21 from him using the art over and over again and change my mind to submit the beware on Monday. The very last thing he says is to “Just put it up.” https://www.dropbox.com/s/n7jtwfzupuoztje/18.png?dl=0 Browsing through his timeline and notice he is using the art again and again that is still unpaid for: 3/1 Role playing again using the art I told him months ago to cease using it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8jxbawfbav95l6q/23.png?dl=0 3/21 Using the art again https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ewreoinsshpfg4/21.png?dl=0 3/21 Also using the art attempting to get more art https://www.dropbox.com/s/age5ozi129cx6la/19.png?dl=0 Still continues to use the art in other places online besides twitter as well https://www.dropbox.com/s/pmgdoes5lv3hx7k/Steam screenshot.png?dl=0 Im done with the excuses. I will see to it that this was a unique case due to the fact that the paypal invoice was marked as paid even when it clearly, once I checked my account with balance history, was not. I have NEVER had an issue with Paypal invoices being marked as paid before and this case was very unusual. I even contacted Paypal them seves over the phone to express my concern over this issue being very unclear as a seller. From the start I felt very rushed by the customer, played and now used. I do not recommend anyone ever working with him again. He has had 5 months and still continues to use the unpaid for art that I completed. EXPLAIN: Tl;Dr: I’ve been strung along since November 2015 for a rushed badge that when we both thought it was paid, I come to find out it was not. Customer confirms it was paid and then says, after speaking with his bank, that it was not. I confirm this only after viewing the details transaction log in my paypal, and contacting paypal over the phone myself, to reveal and confirm that the invoice stating it was paid, come to find out it was actually not. Was given excuse after excuse and the client still continued to use the unpaid art, even going as far as using it as a reference to try and get free art from other artists. I’ve let this slide long enough. He hasn’t paid me and I don’t foresee him ever paying me. I held off on writing an AB for this long as the $41.25 for the badge was clearly not worth this headache plus the time dealing with him over and over again trying to be paid for work I already did and now having to write out this beware. It is a unique case in the fact that the Invoice clearly states it was PAID, but proper precautions were not taken by checking my detailed log to verify this. Since then, I have never accecpted echecks due to paypals faulty system in marking invoices as paid even after banks decline a transaction. Do not waste your time with this individuals business proposals. I will update this AB entry should he ever decide to pay me for my time.
  8. Undelivered Commission I do realize I have been waiting for 6 and a half years for this suit. I have been trying to be understanding and patient with Clementine about this commission. However, after this long of a time period, her lack of communication, her every changing replies, and numerous excuses I have decided to move forward with this post. Below is a timeline of the communication between myself and Clementine and also her boyfriend the CFO. Back in November 2013 Clementine was having a black Friday (artistic freedom with limits) sale and I decided to buy it. (I believe the original post was on furbuy, but not 100% sure) The commission was for a full suit for $1280, with a deposit of $576 I sent the deposit to her with a money order within a few days (because if i pay with PayPal I need to add 5% according to her TOS....which is a violation of PayPal, however that's not what I'm concerned about) I was under the impression from her ad on furbuy that I would pay the rest once it was completed, so I waited. April 22 2014, I receive an email asking about the rest of the payment, and I replied that I thought I was supposed to pay when it was done and before it shipped. September 13 2014 (yes 5 months later) I receive another email telling me she does not work on anything until the payment is in full. This is when the excuses start, her first reason is work is super slow until they sell their house. We go back and forth for a little bit about paying and I send her money orders in early October for the balance ($704) All during October 2014 she sketches up some designs and sends them over to me and we decide on one Mid October she tells me she hasn't received the money orders and I end up having to call and get them stopped and reversed which took quite a while. During November 2014 I had a huge expense (over $5500) and told her I had to hold off paying the rest until it got sorted out. We went back and forth on emails for a little bit and that's the time she started getting disrespectful to me saying how she has bills that are way past due. She ends up getting angry with me and tells me she may cancel my commission and it is on hold "indefinitely" she also tells me that she has used my whole deposit to buy materials. I ask for a refund at this point, and she tells me that there is no refunds and the deposit is non refundable ( I also would like to point out she has not asked me to sign any contract at this point) She ends up blocking me on facebook in December, so I am no longer able to message her. She instead has her boyfriend (the CFO of her company) emails me and says he will conduct business with me from this point forward. December 24th The CFO tells me that I need to make the remaining checks payable to him personally, and I refuse. I told him that my business is not with him it is with Clementine and i will make the checks payable to either her or make them out to fruitsuit creations. He then tells me I can make them payable to Clementine. December 29th 2014 I sign a contract for the remaining balance Since the contract was signed I mailed the payments as follows Jan 15th 2015 mailed $200 ($100 plus $100 credit) - it was received on Jan 21st -- see below for paid in full email Feb 23rd 2015 mailed $100 - it was received on Feb 28th -- see below for paid in full email March I had a few extra bills and had to use the $100 credit from Jan -- see below for paid in full email April 14th 2015 mailed $200 - received on April 19th -- see below for paid in full email May 1st 2015 mailed $204 (the balance) - received on May 8th 2015 (paid in full) and was told I was moved to the "working queue" Clementine sends a newsletter out 4 months later with her working queue and I am not on it, on the list is 2 heads, one partial, 3 on hold (with the commission names). She tells me there was some confusion and she will update it. She does not. October 14 2016 (yes a year later) She tells me she is finishing up 2 heads and I'm a few spots down the line. Jan 13 2017 she tells me there are six in front of me, 2 of which are just heads **April 2017 more excuses that she has several breakdowns a week and it's hard to concentrate and work on commissions. April of 2017 is when something odd happens.....there is another person commissioning her for a rush suit, I'm not sure if I can mention names, so I won't but there is another artist beware about Clementine from this person. The odd thing is that they paid for this nearly 2 years after mine was paid off, but she was sending WIP pics to this person and I have yet to even be told my true place in line. April 2017 she tells me my place is "one less then last time I told you" **July 2017 more excuses of bad side effects from medication, mobile and cognitive Impairment, horribly depressed , separation anxiety, hysterical crying spells 3-5 times a day [Verified by staff. Lots of medical information.] July 8th 2017 she tells me "i believe there are 3 or 4 in front of you" **September 2017 more excuses of her injuring her shoulder September 2017 She gets mad at me for asking where I am in line saying that I've been waiting for a long time, she tells me that there are people waiting longer, and I signed a contract that has no completion dates. Dec 11th 2018 (another year later) she tells me "trying to get this done so I can move on" **January 2019 more excuses of her cat being sick, and not having a place to live with her workshop May 29th 2019 after 100 excuses from her I am told "Thank you so much for your incredible patience! I do wholeheartedly promise that I will make your wait worth it!" **August 2019 more excuses of her Mom being sick (not posting conversation due to her privacy on her mothers health issues) Dec 15th 2019 after more excuses I am told "I really can't thank you enough for your patience.. and I promise I will go above and beyond to make it up to you, and everyone else I've let down.." May 16th 2020 After asking about my place in line yet again, I am told "i believe you are 6th in line."....I then send her screenshots from 3 years prior of her telling me that there are 3 or 4 in front of me. she tells me she must be looking at the wrong copy and will get back to me. _________________________________________________________________ I feel that I have been beyond patient with her, I can be sympathetic to what people are going through, or if they have things happen in their life that they need to just stop for a little bit (which she did have a few which I did not include in here due to the privacy of her family) However, with whatever you are going though mentally or physically and still traveling to many conventions and fursuiting while injured instead of working on your obligations, or even keeping me informed about anything that is going on in 6 and a half years, doesn't seem like a good way to conduct business. Waiting 6.5 YEARS from ordering or 5 years from it being paid in full with her story ever changing about where I am in her line, and excuse after excuse, (which I found another post with the same issues) has gotten me to this point of frustration where I feel I need to let others know. Especially since she has taken other commissions AFTER mine and has worked on them before mine. Clementine has shown me that she doesn't seem interested in working on my suit by not letting me know anything about it, and the things she has told me she contradicts herself many times. For example, about what she has bought for my suit (she tells me she didn't buy anything, then she tells me she has the fur from a previous project, then she tells me she used all my deposit for supplies) another example is my place in line. I'm not quite sure if there is any bookkeeping in where she works on things, but she doesn't seem organized at all about what she is working on. There should be an exact answer to that question, I am not sure why I can't get a straight answer from her on that. She has not posted any updates on her working queue or anything of that sort in a few years, so I am not even sure she has one. I had asked a few times early on for a refund which was refused, I even had said if she is unable to work on it at all that's fine, I can just get a refund and either do it myself or get it elsewhere, I have asked for a transfer to another person and that was refused, she seems to be banking on the contract saying is does not have any completion dates, however that doesn't give anyone the right to take money and not deliver a product ever, and I think 6 and a half years is way beyond the time limit to wait for something like this. I feel that I have been very lenient with her and tried to compromise but her excuse after excuse has led me to make this post. Along with her lack of communication in her work order. In the 6.5 years there has been a ton of emails and messages so I couldn't put them all so forgive me for such a long post. Please think twice before commissioning anyone, and feel free to reach out to those who have commissioned a person in the past to ask about their experiences. I was willing in the past to work with her in the past on this problem asking her what she needs from me in order to get her working on projects, (I even sent her a link to an industrial sewing machine for a good price because she was complaining about her needing a new one), but her lack of communication and concern about this commission has led me to believe that she does not intend to provide me with a product. I am however still willing to accept a refund and turn this post to resolved, if she is willing to refund my payments.
  9. I first contacted Hawk on April 25, 2020 through instagram. I received a quote of $1050 (+$50 shipping) on the same day. Commissions were advertised to open on July 1st, so when that day came around I went ahead to request a slot. They did not reply for 5 days (they usually didn't take more than a day to respond), so I emailed them instead. I got a reply in about 6 hours saying that they weren’t very active on insta due to personal reasons and that I could get a slot. I requested a commission slot on July 5th, 2020. At first, they tried to get me to send through Venmo, but I declined due to lack of buyer protection (thank god). Sorry I couldn't fit their user into this screenshot- the email too long to fit this piece and their user into one screenshot. I got an updated quote of $1200 (+$50 shipping) on July 6, 2020. At time of slot request, I was not first in the queue, so we agreed that I'd pay 30% down ($360) then to save my place, and the other 70% ($840) when I was first in line. I paid the 30% down on July 9th, 2020. After contact via email, replies from Hawk came every 1-4 days. On July 27, 2020, Hawk contacted me to tell me that I was now first in the queue. I paid the remaining 70% on July 28, 2020. After sending the rest of the payment, they confirmed that they'd received it, and said they'd be posting to their instagram, @fluffy.fox.fursuits, in a few days. Their instagram has not posted anything new since April 2020. As seen in the screenshot below, their definition of a late response was 3 days after the money was sent, which would become nothing compared to after this email lol. On their website, it states that the turnaround time for a partials take 6-7 weeks once you're first in the queue, so I expected to see SOME kind of progress within 2.5 months. After seeing no work in progresses and getting no response, I reached out just to check if things were going alright. I'm completely okay with delays, but not with being completely ignored for months. As my buyer protection was nearing its close, I decided to file a paypal dispute on November 23, 2020. By the 27th, they still hadn't replied, so I messaged them through paypal giving them one more chance to respond before I escalated the issue to paypal. After no response, I escalated the issue. Paypal has messaged them but have not received a response as of yet. It's safe to say I'll be getting the money back by default after the unresponsive 10 days are up. Judging by their attempt to get me to pay through venmo, I think this was their plan all along, yet they aren't experienced enough with paypal to know that it has buyer protection. I suspect after their account goes under by the $1.2k they'll suddenly appear and want to chat. This maker had great recent work despite their not-so-great past, and I personally know the person they last made a suit for, which is what made me choose this maker in the first place. Still, even if they decide to fix up their act after losing the money, I wouldn't trust them again, and I'm surely not giving the money back if they ask for a second chance.
  10. I won an auction for a Noivern fursuit a while back, and before I made my bid, I asked if the suit could be altered up a little to fit my size. She agreed. After winning the auction, I agreed to pay the extra charge, and I added her personal account on Facebook. Fast-forward to May 2016. I asked about updates, and there wasn't anything to show for. Fast forward two years, I asked again, and she claimed that her suit was lost in a move, and would have to remake it. Fast forward again, after more occasional and unsuccessful attempts at getting an update, this was the last correspondence where she had actually replied, which was on Discord. There has been no communication from her ever since that one message. I honestly should've made a post like this years ago, but what's done is done. And during this entire, years-long ordeal, she had continued to complete other projects, including other fursuits. I hope that this post serves to help people not go through what I went through.

On November 22 I commissioned West to do one of the Periodic Table icons he was advertising so heavily in places like FA and Teenycom. Communication went alright, and then suddenly last night (November 26) I'm noted about some chat logs that showed up on a public livestream while West was working on my icon. I'm putting it behind a cut because long chat log is long and has lots of crude and pretty offensive language. The bolded parts are done by me to highlight the more important bits. 9:57 PM: westfalen: because, for fucking fuck's sake, I've already done like, two of these, and this is fuckface number three to have the same goddamn character design 9:57 PM: westfalen: because it's soooo original 9:57 PM: westfalen: jesus fucking cockfucking christ 9:58 PM: westfalen: if this keeps up I am seriously just going to lay down line white lines of mockitude until these fucker snort them up and love it 9:58 PM: Defenbaugh: Wassup 9:58 PM: Defenbaugh: Besides wolf rascism ? 9:58 PM: Defenbaugh: err speciesism 9:58 PM: westfalen: I feel sorry for the mothers of these pathetic man-children for the shame they must feel for having borne these sad space-wasting wastes of space into the world 9:59 PM: westfalen: fuck you, generic grey fox with long black generic hair 9:59 PM: westfalen: fuckkkkkk 9:59 PM: westfalen: youuuuu 9:59 PM: RedApeGuy: Yikes!: lol 9:59 PM: westfalen: *pants* 9:59 PM: LinkinArt: haha 9:59 PM: westfalen: sorry. I'll return his five dollars. 10:21 PM: Earwig: Sometimes it's hard as hell, but on something like a basic aesthetic choice it's crappy 10:21 PM: Earwig: I'd ask him first, since I'm not the customer 10:21 PM: Earwig: It's just personal opinion 10:22 PM: westfalen: I hope one day I meet this guy in person 10:22 PM: Earwig: Who? 10:22 PM: westfalen: so I can tell him personally how I feel 10:22 PM: westfalen: EXACTLY 10:22 PM: Earwig: Are you talking about the customer you're working for? 10:22 PM: Defenbaugh: I think West is givign them the money back. 10:22 PM: Earwig: But who is she giving money back to? Because the customer's not complaining so far as I know, so he doesn't want a refund I'd assume 10:23 PM: westfalen: so wait, what 10:23 PM: Earwig: I'm just giving my 2 cents re: business tact 10:23 PM: westfalen: are you friggin serious 10:23 PM: westfalen: you come in here just to lecture me? 10:23 PM: Defenbaugh: -whistles and wanders that a way- Its uncomfortable i here. 10:23 PM: Earwig: I sure did 10:23 PM: westfalen: I'll tolerate lecturing from my manager because I pay her, but srsly Sare, aren't you being hella presumptuous? 10:24 PM: westfalen: jesus! You need to put it down tonight. 10:24 PM: Earwig: This is a different situation 10:24 PM: Kardi: I never EVER lecture you in public.. EVER. 10:24 PM: westfalen: christ in a hammock! 10:24 PM: Kardi: Sigh... 10:25 PM: Earwig: presumption is when I don't know information and I just assume shit, which yeah I never do. But I saw how you're acting and it's definitely not presumptuous to say you're being rude and tactless. 10:25 PM: Earwig: And like I said I totally understand the ranting thing, I do it too 10:25 PM: Earwig: But I do it in private and I try to be fair 10:25 PM: Earwig: If these people were being shitheads to you I could understand it but it's not their fault they have similar designs back to back 10:25 PM: Kardi: You are so hopped up on cold meds you're snarly and grumpy and just in a mood and a quarter. ? 10:26 PM: westfalen: actually no, I'm not on cold meds right now 10:26 PM: westfalen: clear as a goddamn bell 10:26 PM: Earwig: Insulting them because of a very simple aesthetic choice in a place they can see it is just really... I dunno. I'm honestly surprised 10:26 PM: Kardi: ... well, then, you're in a mood and quarter. And also, I hope the kitten's doing okay. ? 10:26 PM: westfalen: hahaha oh my god I can't believe I'm hearing this 10:26 PM: Earwig: Yep, kitten is in a really nice place now and taken care of well 10:26 PM: Kardi: Cool. ❤️ That makes me happy. ? 10:27 PM: Earwig: I dunno why you're talking like this in a public place. It's your own noose you're tying, that's fine. I can't tell you how to run your business or how to portray yourself online 10:27 PM: westfalen: look, you two girls have fun talking kittens, ok, I'm sure you both have great cat stories to exchange 10:27 PM: Earwig: Are you drunk? 10:27 PM: Earwig: Like is this how you normally act? I'm just trying to be chill and explain what the hell you sound like 10:27 PM: westfalen: I apologize for all present for having to put up with this bullshit, I'm outtski, kids. Peace on earth. So basically: West is tired of getting nothing but grey foxes with black hair to do icons of, and expresses this by making personal attacks against me and throwing personal insults at me as a person over a simple character design, in a public chat where absolutely anyone could see it. He even goes so far as to copy and paste another commissioner's icon to make minor edits to for mine with the intention of passing it off as fully-custom work like all of his other icons and just getting my character out of the way. My icon, next to the icon West copied from: http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/4103/reklawiconprooficons.jpg He took the icon he made for Escafanatic421, copied and pasted it, and made really minor edits to the character: Eyebrows, muzzle marking, and the clothing's removed. He also moved "my" character further out of the frame to try to make it either less obvious, or so he could do less work on it, or both. I'm not impressed. When he gets called out for doing it so publicly, he proceeds to throw a fit and then leaves the channel. To be fair, I did receive the full refund as shown in the receipt I linked- The message that came with it was a simple "I don't think I can do your character right now, sorry!" I haven't received any sort of apology from West for his behavior, but I think it's because he thinks I don't know what was said about me in the livestream. While the personal attacks and this sort of behavior don't bother me too much, I'm posting this for anybody who may be considering commissioning West to beware of personal attacks and less than professional behavior if your characters happen to go against their idea of 'imaginative' character design. --Edited the post to fix spacing, it was showing up as a weird block of text for me. Hopefully that's better! Update: 11/28/2011 After just happening to run into West on livestream, I have severe doubts that this will ever be resolved. No copy-pasting to be had. I recorded every snide remark with Fraps. http://youtu.be/SVtAx9Hdz2w And Kathy had no idea this was going on, so leave her alone. Please.
  13. Hello from another comissioner of "FruitSuit Creations Clementine "Clem" Fox". I am not sure if I have talked to you before on telegram, as there was another comissioner in a chat I had been in, that I did talk to about my comission and theirs too. If it's the "Newsletter" I think you are talking about (E-Mail Topic "FSC September Newsletter; Date 11.09.2015), my name back then shows up under "As well as:" with "Maverique" I actually myself have been holding onto the thought of posting to this site too for a while and i had seen the previous post on LJ that hasn't been transferred here yet. For one thing for sure from what I gotten back from her, after I had send an email to them in early january, they said they "can't afford a refund". Don't know what can be done then.
  14. On January 5th, I had entered into an agreement for a custom texture/skin commission usable in Second Life for the amount of 19k L$ (Approx $75). This was to include a full body texture for both the male and female version of my silver fox character, of which references were provided. Additionally, this project was to include textures for two heads (Canis and Doggo), ears, legs, and implied related typical components. The estimated wait time that was given was 2 weeks. The artist replied via discord on Jan 8th to mention various family-related problems and other issues that was pose a delay, but then contacted me on Jan 10th to tell me the project was "almost done." No WIPs were provided prior to this statement, and I'd seen no work whatsoever. WIPs were explicitly mentioned when we first discussed the project. I was eventually provided some images while out on mobile where I tried to direct concerns about missing or erroneous markings and details. At no point through the process of edits did I approve a final version, as she had also indicated that the "blending" and fur "texture" would be added layer. Regardless, she delivered a "final product" while I was not available to comment or reply, and when asked about it, verified that she felt the project was complete. Inspection of the delivered items showed no inclusion of the male version of the skin. Further, no applier was included for the Canis or Doggo heads. This is especially problematic as the Canis requires one unless a user can somehow manually apply the texture to every single possible animated state of the head one state at a time; simply dragging and dropping the texture on the head only applies it to the specific state it is. This makes the texture for the head largely unusable on its own. The colors of the delivered skin did not match expectations or references, nor did the markings and patterns, especially on the head (at least visible in the single, static 'frame' shown when the head is dropped on the ground). No textures for ears were included, nor were any for 3rd party legs or tail (nor did she even ask which of any of these I wanted to use). Genitals were crudely painted on the female body skin, which are entirely not necessary (and conflict) with the 3rd party body that I had stated I use; this was not a detail that was requested, nor were they shown on the few WIP images I did receive. When confronted and asked whether this was supposed to be the final version, they replied with "yup" and a laughing face, then took insult when I attempted to express my dissatisfaction with the result or pointed out missing components, including making a statement of "I don't cater to customers who insult my work." They claimed several times through the resulting conversation that I "approved" her work, but after repeatedly disagreeing with her on that, she went the route of implying that my lack of immediate response or not telling her to stop was considered by her as approval. The notion that a customer can be busy at work, driving their car, or otherwise being physically unavailable to comment and have that used as a substitute for explicit approval should be cause for alarm for any potential customer. A refund was requested, even partial, to which the artist immediately stated "in my tos it states once a product is done I don't offer refunds." This notion is in dispute as I did not accept or approve of a finished state of the project, nor did we ever agree to any "terms of service" anywhere in our conversation. The user has blocked my communications with them on SL, Discord, and Twitter, refusing any possibility for further contact. I have deleted the items from my inventory, as well as any items they were applied to as part of my own agreement regarding this issue. A fraud report has been filed with Linden Labs. Screenshots:
  15. Given their poor communication skills and the fact that they've been doing this to customers since 2013 I think you should cancel the commission and get a refund. It is also very frustrating to read a beware like this. I am upset that Fox is treating you poorly and that you can come here and tell us how you feel, but that you haven't been firmer with the artist. I think you should tell the artist how much this situation bothers you. I understand you are trying to be nice, but passive disappointment and just looking sadly at e-mails isn't going to resolve this!

I commissioned Mary for a custom Certified! species tag on July 15th. I was so excited to commission her for this. I was wanting one so badly and I was so happy to be her first Certified dachshund for her custom batches. :3 I told her I wanted one badly and if she would be willing to wait if I saved up the funds for the tag. She was very understanding and even let me buy it for $20 instead of $25 since I had inquired to her about one before she even started selling custom tags publicly so I was super grateful for that. She finished it in no time, sent me the badge file, a high res file of my character only, and an icon file. That was so freaking nice of her to do that! ❤️ Not done. She asked for my mailing address and I gave it to her and she shipped out my tag the next day. Once I got it in the mail, I was surprised to see that not only was there a tag, but ANOTHER COPY as well, and they both were laminated and had clips! AND, and there is another and, she included the original paper sketch as well! I was so speechless and happy that I got so many nice things from her. That was a great deal. She is probably one of the best artists I have ever done business with to be honest. She was kind, polite, professional, and included so many great things for only $20! His attention to details and colours is amazing and he was a total pleasure to work with. shout_of_joy Aug. 2nd, 2011 06:48 am (local) Scenceable/Janine Haq/Quequinox Art 1. Commissioned her in April 2011, commission completed and shipped in July. 4. Janine was a dream to work with! She e-mailed me with sketches and photos of commission progress every step of the way, was very open to any suggestions I made, and went out of her way to make sure I was informed and pleased with the commission. She likes to work on a bunch of commissions at once, but is steadily finishing some while she starts others, so there is always a sense of process and progress. And I was very delighted with the completed results. Exceptional packaging for the shipping from Cananda to the US, and her pricing in my opinion is more than fair given the amount of materials and time she puts into each piece. Here is another photo she took of my commission http://quequinoxart.com/uploads/2/9/1/5/2915211/5406814_orig.jpg Can't recommend her enough if you love equines, unicorns, or related fantasy creatures! poizenkat Aug. 2nd, 2011 06:54 am (local) Oceantiger11 1. oceantiger11 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/oceantiger11/ 3. about a month ago, perhaps? 4. She made me a Li-Li doll for only $30! It's just about the cutest thing ever and i have a keychain so i can attach it to my pants and take it everywhere i go XD She even started before i sent payment! She was really sweet and made me a free badge for being one of the first people to commission her. I would love to do business with her again. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6183261/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6201737/ poizenkat Aug. 2nd, 2011 06:56 am (local) corriezodori 1. corriezodori 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/corriezodori/ 3. less than a month 4. It is always a pleasure commissioning corrie. She works hard and finishes her commissions in a timely manner. She also pays attention to detail and did a wonderful job on my Partner's fursona. I continuously urge her to raise her prices, her art style and shading is outstanding! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6207761/ torikonero Aug. 2nd, 2011 06:57 am (local) Huskie666 1. Huskie666 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/huskie666/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/user/huskie-commissions for commissions. 3. Roughly 2 weeks 4. Huskie666 offered a deal in which one person would buy an item from MissMonster's online store for her in exchange for a breed badge. I had been wanting one of these for a while, so I pounced on it. I bought the item and had it shipped directly to her. Before the item even got to her, she was done with my art. Not only that, but she is by far one of the best artists I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She queried me for details about my character that NO artist had ever asked about. She researched my species and made sure each and every line and marking was accounted for before starting the work. Then, less than a week later, she was done. Everything was perfect. A couple of days later, she mailed the item to me. It came in perfect condition, and I can't stop looking at it. Huskie666 provides top-quality products quickly and with a level of customer service I didn't realize was possible, much less executable by someone who clearly does a LOT of commissions. I honestly can't wait to commission her again! torikonero Aug. 2nd, 2011 06:59 am (local) Re: Huskie666 Oh...it would probably help to show y'all what she did. Approximate time period of when you did business with them: I just paid the last payment on a needfelt of my fursona. While I have not received it in person yet, I want to point out how amazing she is. 4. Details: I asked her last month about a commission, I paid half up front with a promise of the other half the next month. I did not expect her to begin working until I was paid in full but she told me she would have it done by the time I had the second payment sent. Man was she right. I got to be her first commissioner for her needlefelt work and I hope other people will commission her in the future because she was amazing to work with. She showed me so many progress shots and really kept me informed and updated on the progress of my item. She is very kind and let me know anytime she showed me a photo that I could have her fix/change things. She really turned my idea into something awesome. Of course you can see it here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6135848 Check out her galley, she has a SUPER ADORABLE baby Grpyh for sale that I really would like to see go out. -- She did just this past week give birth to a baby boy so her replies may be a bit slow if you want to contact her about a commission. This is also the reason I am posting a positive review before the item is sent to me. I told her not to send it until she recovers, I trust her 100% to send the item out when she does. I've known her online for years. marus_puppy Aug. 2nd, 2011 11:54 am (local) Unyko 1. Unyko 2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/unyko/ 3. OrangeWolfenNetwork 2. http://orangewolfennetwork.deviantart.com/ 3. June 8, 2011 4. First things first, this was a request/gift as she's a good friend of mine. xD This is the finished piece, my main fursona 'Silverfox': http://orangewolfennetwork.deviantart.com/art/Buri-Cat-212202607 I watched her draw the entire thing over Sketcher on AG, it only took about an hour or two since it was just a lightly shaded color image with no background. If I had money to give her for true commissions I would (I actually got her a gift over the weekend as a thanks, and we doodle each others' fursonas all the time). She's pretty fast with her art and does an excellent job; she's extremely pleasant to work with and tends to be casual with communication but still keeps it professional. She's also recently started taking more furry commissions through FA but I'm not sure if she'd want me to post the account publicly (she wants to keep her DA and FA accounts separate for personal reasons) so I'd be more than happy to link it to anyone who's interested via PM. She'll draw just about anything, I think there's only a couple things that are off limits. lilclaudy Aug. 2nd, 2011 02:29 pm (local) 1. So, since my husband's birthday was soon, I went and got it. She was nice and professional, even though I told her that it didn't need to be on my husband's birthday, she wanted to make that mark. 18. ORIGINAL POSTING DATE: March 8th, 2011 WHAT: A furry hoodie of my character, Foxfairy. We set the price at $80 and I paid a deposit to hold my spot, then another payment to secure funding for all the materials. The first payment was put down in September, the second in November, and I agreed to pay the final $30 + shipping on completion. WHEN: From September to November, everything was fine and he was a pleasure to work with, answered everything quickly and was great in helping me pick the fleece color. And I even got a WIP of the foam base for the head! Since then I have heard almost nothing.I sent one note in late December, and got a reply that he was working on it. I asked for updates last month, which is when I started to get concerned. I sent a note on Feb 11, and got a reply on the same day, that he was almost finished and would send me pictures soon. i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/Springmoon/Feb11PromisedPictures.png I sent another note five days later, reminding him that I wanted pictures; it's been sitting unread for a while now. (there message in the note is really short, just saying I would appreciate some WIPs) i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/Springmoon/UnreadNote.png I tried to get ahold of him via email and got a response the next day, i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/Springmoon/Gmailconvo.png but no pictures, and nothing for the last 11 days. PROOF: Paypal stubs: i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/Springmoon/paypalhistory.png EXPLAIN: I've been really patient with this artist. He seems really nice, and I put down my deposits. I though everything was going well but I'm starting to get extremely frustrated. I have been promised pictures for almost a month, and I haven't got any tangible proof that anything has been completed besides the foam head base, and that was done in October. What makes me really, really upset now is that I've found out through some internet stalking that he been really active on twitter and tumblr this whole time, almost every day: serifbalehawk.tumblr.com/ AND twitter.com/#!/MS_Manuscript This makes me feel like I'm being almost completely ignored. If he was having issues on FA, I gave them my email to contact me. If he was having problems with his internet connection and couldn't get anything to me, that would be fine too (as long as I knew). But he obviously has internet. If he is using his phone to access the internet, that's no excuse for no photo updates. Any phone that can access twitter and tumblr can access email fine, and take pictures too. My crap phone from 2008 can send an email with a picture. I know life is complicated, but answering an email and taking a photo (even a crappy WIP one!) isn't hard. It takes literally five minutes, tops. I thought this person was of excellent character and he may well be, but at the very least this should stand that he's not particularly good at updates. RESPONSE FROM ARTIST: msmanuscript Mar. 9th, 2011 12:20 am (local) Hey Fox Fairy. I do want to apologize, I know I've been incredibly bad with communication. And it is entirely my fault. My days have been filled with trying to get ready for my first real-world job. The evenings have been trying to chill out and calm my nerves so I'm ready to KEEP this job. It's made me horribly forgetful. I also tend not to check my emails, which is a very bad habit I need to break. Since it's dark, I'll be taking pictures tomorrow when there's light. I'm afraid my "room" has rather poor light, in the way that all images come out almost black. I have offered my IM, and if you want it the offer for it still stands. I'm going to ask a few people to remind me until I do it to take pictures. If you wish my IM, you can speak to me there to remind me to send you images. You shouldn't HAVE to remind me. I'll admit that no problem. This IS all on my shoulders. Here's what I'll do. Once the jacket is done (Hood sewn onto the jacket itself, at the moment they are two separate pieces for pictures,) I'll ship it out, free. Don't worry about the third payment. I was considering reducing it because of how long you've waited, but with how my behavior has been lately, I'll just knock it out entirely. I have been a poor seller/builder. I will continue to work on NOT leaving my customers in the dark. I am sorry for the delay. If you wish my IM, please let me know and I'll PM it to you, as I'd rather not have it posted here.
