    I had originally contacted this artist on December 30th for a Batty YCH. The turnaround time on the initial post was 2 weeks.

    I had unwatched them due to the constant NSFW YCH spam daily (100+). They filled my submissions constantly and was super annoying imo. I wasnt aware of some of their update journals and I wasnt reached out to. 

    I contacted Feb 24th about my ych and they said it would be the next day. I was giving birth to my daughter on the 26th of February so I was too busy to message them after not receiving the art as they said. 

    A few months later I contacted again and got the same excuse. at this point I just wanted a refund because no W.I.P. were sent in 6 months. Their trello is also ungodly long ^^; 

     

    So far i have been waiting a couple weeks for my refund while continuously getting the excuse "can you wait till so and so date"

     

    Do not commission them if you value your money

    I commented on a recent beware about my experience- but yeah being promised something over an over and never getting it is very frustrating. Sorry you went through this too!

    The fact they refused to show you a WIP as proof of work was a red flag to me. If they were worried about peoole stealing art they could easily put a waternark over the wip like I sometimes do, or show a cropped version and such. But to just withold WIPs from clients is just...

     

    Also looking at the notes you showed. The artist claimed they said they'd refund you, but actually didn't as if you missed what they said and were correcting you. So that is also a bit of a red flag them saying it that way...

    It's to a point where I gave up on trying to get a refund back from them I told them to forget about it and they refuse to listen they sented a little bit of a back even after I said no even if I get the full refund back it'll leave a bitter taste in my mouth after months waiting

    I've also had problems with this artist, though they were buying from me and it was after the commission had been completed. Theres a few more bewares floating around on Facebook about both their buying and selling practices.

    from my experience on trying to get a refund from them, they always say next week or next paycheck but never send anything. every month I ask for a refund and everytime they respond its always "sorry I dont know what happened or  ill send over the refund within the week" never happens though. Good luck with them I have been trying since last year all for just $34. its a matter of principle now

    Unfortunately I bought a YCH last year that I thought was going to be a couple of days and nothing looked out of place at the time. I had the same promises of next day etc when I enquired, I had to go through their "manager" most of the times I contacted them because I wasn't getting much of a response otherwise. Even though I have been waiting a full year I was put near the bottom of the Trello list and much newer ones were nearer the top. I must have sent my ref sheet 4 or 5 times too even though I'm sure they said they store them in a folder so they can work with them. 

    Like you, I also unfollowed them on FA because of the endless spam. Even though I follow hundreds of artists my feed was constantly full of their YCH posts and no finished work which was not great to see when I had waited months already.

    They have a group chat on Telegram but you can't enquire about your commission in it and if you mention it has been a long time then some of the users act in defence of the artist and in different words tend to say you're not a good person and to be patient.

    I was completely disinterested in the whole thing, until recently when they made a journal saying they were going to fix everything, I thought things would improve but upon enquiring I have found the same practices. A new journal saying the backlog is only going to be done on the weekend didn't put much of a smile on my face either as in my opinion it should be a priority to clear it.

    For me it isn't even about the money at this point, more the principle of it all. I would not get any customers at all if I treated them this way and I certainly couldn't run a business like it.

    I purchased a YCH from this artist in 2017, I received no art and no refund. On the positive side I did receive more excuses than I paid for, hidden bonus!  I waited too long to dispute with PayPal. Owie. 😞

    We are amending these tags to include Sebastian Morgenstern due to multiple instances depicting them as being active within BV's business dealings; most prominent examples include posting commissions on her behalf & informing customers en masse regarding frequent on-site suspensions. Staff has determined they are not the same person.
